Human nature is the desire to enjoy. A person aspires to fill his desire in every action that he performs, like buying something for himself, for example. Today our ego demands filling and we don’t know how to fill it. The consumer culture today is characterized by buying things that we actually don’t need as a result of advertising that creates this need in us. A person’s self disappears; he doesn’t think about anything and only worries about having money in his pocket. The only way to break out of the consumerism cycle is through new comprehensive social education. A person must have a greater goal in life, something whole and eternal.
