How Can We Make Gaza a Better Place to Live In?

Kabbalist Dr. Michael Laitman and Oren Levi discuss a boat carrying young people from Gaza capsized between Turkey and Greece. These passengers got on a boat in Sinai, sailed to Turkey, and their final destination was Europe. 23 of them died. This really stirred things up in Gaza. When a person is in real existential distress and feels: "That's it, if I stay here, I'll die. I gotta get out of here." Even if there is an awareness of danger, the aspiration towards a better life will pull a person forward: “There is a chance that I shall make it to the safe shores and this will fill my entire life, rather than living here like a dog.” Looking at the world at large, there is plenty of migration. People feel that they are living in a terrible place and they aspire for a better place. A person is drawn to a place where he feels comfortable and convenient .Of course, everyone wants to go to Europe thinking that things are better there. But it is possible to make similar conditions that Europe has in other countries. It is all a matter of desire. We have all the means at our disposal to create Heaven on Earth—we just need to want it.
