Part 1:
Lishma is called “Truth”, Lo Lishma is called “a lie” - Selected Excerpts from the sources. #4

Reading 4. (00:38) Twice. “As long as one does not know..”

1. S. (06:19) Basically how does the person get to a state when he knows it’s false, that he has no grasp of anything, how does he know it is false?

R. He simply does not see any results yet, he is expecting to see these results but cannot see and accordingly maybe he is already on 99% of the path has been passed, but he has yet to come to the last stretch and this is why he is finding himself in that state and is not in Lishma.

S. When he comes to the truth does he need to get some feedback or rely on the friends to tell him?

R. He needs to feel that he's already holding on to something really.

S. What is truth and what is false?

R. Truth is in order to bestow and false is in order to receive.

S. We have to reach a state of feeling, what is truth and false?

R. Yes, at least a bit when the person can say where he is.

2. S. (07:46) There is an impression in the text that only when we come to the final destination do we know that we came to Lishma, the truth. But we also learn that there are stops on the path to Lo Lishma, there are degrees in that?

R. There are degrees but nevertheless the question is whether you're before the entry to Lishma or after you have entered.

S. What are the stops on the way that the person knows that he's on the right track?

R. He has no such signs.

S. No signs that he knows that he's in the right direction?

R. No there are no signs or signals along the way or tells him what the speed limit is, 50 miles per hour to Lishma, 20 miles per hour to Lishma, there is none.

S. What does he rely on, the falsehood?

R. He is still in falsehood and even the falsehood appears to him worse.

S. And that is the indicator?

R. His indication is not quite like that in the way that he is holding onto the friends and sees how they are advancing towards the truth.

S. The friends to me is that I am in the car but I don't even know if I have arrived at the destination or at some stop?

R. Until we reach the destination as you said we do not know, we are not sure, and there is nothing we can do because we need to examine all the states from complete falsehood to the complete truth.

3. S. (09:56) Baal HaSulam writes in a letter that if the person makes a small mistake at the beginning, later he cannot go straight and he does not reach the goal, he's going straight but he's already going sideways and he is not hitting the target. I understand that we do not need to receive any indication or reward that we are advancing but if the person is moving straight his whole path but there was some mistake that he deviated then he cannot reach the goal?

R. We do not have any signs that we are going on the path of truth besides the confidence that maybe we can receive from the environment. Nothing, otherwise with what vessels will you work, only in the environment which can somewhat be connected can aim you towards the goal.

S. The confidence from the environment can also be an illusion?

R. To the extent you are connected to them and you believe in them you just need to understand that there is nothing assured here whatsoever, only the group that you have on the environment. It is logical because where else can you take discernments from that relate to Lishma.

4. S. (11:46) To stay in the state of anything but leave just to know that I'm on the path with the friends?

R. Yes.

S. That is the only discernment I can have?

R. Yes, anything but leave and adhere to the friends.

5. S. (12:12) It is written that if the person has the path of truth meaning that he goes by way of Lishma but he's still in the middle of the road, meaning he is still not in Lishma but the path is already called truth and a path of Lishma?

R. Yes, this is the path of Lishma.

6. S. (12:57) When I climb a mountain and I rise on the slope and I get to the summit but I do not treat the slope as a fiction and I am not going to go to the summit without a path, so why is that truth and that’s false?

R. You have the possibility to hold on to the friends and in a specific connection between them to define that you are advancing to the truth because you are connecting between you and you want to come to connection in which you will all be included in the connection, that is one thing. Each holds the other and we all try as much as possible to be in their circle and this is how you advance. Day after day, article after article and so on. You have nothing else to hold onto besides the fact that together you have to turn it to the Creator, if you address the Creator together then you already have something that you hold onto the truth and coming closer to it.

S. Meaning even in the state of Lo Lishma that we are still not on the summit?

R. No one is talking about the summit, we are holding on to the path correctly.

S. The question is if the whole path is falsehood or some doses here?

R. The path is not falsehood.

S. Because this is what we call the path is false and Jerusalem is truth?

R. No, our state on the path can be a state of falsehood but the path itself is a path of attaining the truth. If we are connected between us and if we turn to the Creator we are ready somewhat in the right direction, and if day after day we want to check and implement ourselves, aim ourselves then we are advancing towards the goal.

7. S. (15:48) How not to get lost on the path?

R. Hold onto the friends.

S. We are together in the same car?

R. I don’t know what system you are describing, you're describing something of a system there is no way out of.

S. As it is written that the person is going on to the bus that lives in Jerusalem and we are holding onto the friends they are leading me to Lishma. How do I go on the right track or a certain short path towards Lishma?

R. If you go with the friends and turn to the Creator then for sure you are advancing correctly.

S. Is there some prayer we have to raise?

R. Raise it from your heart that you want to be connected to the friends and come closer to the Creator with them.

S. He doesn't change anything for me on the path, what is happening?

R. No, that should not confuse you.

8. S. (16:58) How can we develop a sense of falsehood?

R. For the time being we do not have a sense neither for the truth and nor for the falsehood only from the connection between us, to the extent we are connected together and as much as we want through this to turn to the Creator, then the direction our inclination is that we are hoping that is correct.

S. And in hoping that the correction to the Creator is correct, what are the discernments we have?

R. From one day to the next we have more difficult states but we are capable of defining the connection between us above them and with the Creator.

S. When does the falsehood become revealed?

R. Every single moment a little bit of the falsehood and a little bit of the truth is disclosed to you and this is how you are moving through them.

9. S. (18:21) It says here that until the person reaches Jerusalem you are in falsehood and until you reach the gate you haven’t entered it. How can we understand that we are already there in Lishma, is there any measurement that we have actually reached it?

R. We are constantly concerned with the connection between us and from the connection between us to connect to the Creator and to go in this way with this connection after Him. We come to all kinds of discernments along the way we will see them, how we are advancing, to what states we are entering.

10. S. (19:30) How do I know if I am on the way of falsehood, how can I see the signs on the path of truth?

R. The signs on the path of truth is that you are together with all the friends with one opinion and from this single opinion you can rise and turn to the Creator, and if you feel that it is like that then this is already a good sign.

S. In the example of arriving to Jerusalem he cannot say that we are in Jerusalem when we are on the way, but how will we know that it is Jerusalem when we arrive because we have never seen it before?

R. This is according to an inner feeling that you have a connection with the Creator more than you had before and then through the center of connection between you, you come to a connection with the Creator. This point, this common point of connection between you and the Creator is called Jerusalem.

11. S. (21:16) You answered part of the question: how can we know that we are in a falsehood, how can we identify the falsehood that is misleading us?

R. Only by shrinking the connection between the friends, the tighter the connection between the friends the more pin-pointed it is, the more we will be able to discern in all the components in our states.

12. S. (22:09) Rabash is writing here that a person needs to make a scrutiny and reach the understanding that he is in falsehood in order to change the path, how can the person make this scrutiny in the heart?

R. Only through the connection with the friends he has nothing else to hold onto there is nothing else. Only from being connected more and more with the friends and truly feeling that he has a connection with them in a common heart, in a common desire then he can continue on with more scrutinies to all the individual states.

S. What are these scrutinies, what does he scrutinize exactly?

R. He is scrutinizing the way in which he is preparing a connection between the friends for the revelation of the Creator as much as he is building the place for the revelation of the Creator.

S. What does it mean to make a place for the Creator?

R. It means there will be a state between them that the Creator can exist between.

13. S. (24:06) We are on a journey until we reach Lishma and we are not able to be in the truth, so how can we go through the day knowing that we are always in falsehood, how can you cope with that?

R. No, we are not constantly living in a lie, we are drawn in the connection between us and the connection with the Creator, this is what we actually need to attain. This connection is for us the point of the goal in which we connect between us and discover the Creator in this connection between us, inside of us. From time to time we check where we are, whether we are getting closer to this and that is our work, I have nothing to add. Certainly the states change, the times  and then the need to see ourselves connected in all kinds of manners more and more this way, and accordingly we want to reveal the desire to grasp the Creator between us.

S. Do we see Jerusalem from a distance?

R. Yes, it could be, yes.

14. S. (26:47) You said we are in a world of falsehood that is built on egoistic relations between people and if we want to build cordial relations between people in bestowal, then the lie becomes connection. Is this transformation necessary to discover the world of truth?

R. Yes.

15. S. (27:21) This lie we deal with all the time is actually sweet. We study TES inside this falsehood and also the Preface to the Wisdom of Kabbalah, so there is a falsehood that has beauty in it. Meaning I know that I am not in truth but I enjoy the path itself. It is a sweet lie, a beautiful one.

R. What do you want from what you are learning?

S. There is fulfillment.

R. I am asking what filling?

S. Through this falsehood I ultimately come closer to the Creator and we have friends, Zoom meetings and we are connecting and I am in falsehood and I am having a good time in this falsehood, it is a very sweet lie and a lot of flavor in it.

R. Okay, we will continue this way for the time being.

S. Does that not summon blows if I feel this is sweet?

R. Whatever will be along the way we will discover.

16. S. (28:44) How do we know that we are on the path of falsehood and how to move from falsehood to the path of truth?
R. According to our preparation, if we feel we are in a connection between us or the connection is not enough or it does not exist at all, accordingly we check ourselves. Actually the whole path from here to the end of correction is more and more connection between us above all the disturbances, and that is the whole path altogether to be “as one man, with one heart” more. To reveal the Creator in this one heart more and more and then we come to the goal in which we are all going to be “as one man, with one heart” and the Creator will dwell within us.

S. What is the falsehood on the path of the way?

R. The lie on the way is that we can receive some filling and it sweetens it for us, it stops us, it blocks us.

17. S. (30:24) We are talking about rewards in the entrance to Lishma and the question is, can we also think about some reward in the entrance to Lo Lishma?

R. A reward for the entry for Lishma? For What?

S. We are still in Lo Lishma, can we feel the rewards in the efforts we make to reach Lishma?

R. Yes, it can be and we feel that we are coming closer to Lishma and distancing from Lo Lishma and this is our reward. More and more they are identifying disturbances on the way as we want to distance from them and this is the reward. The main thing is in the attitude between the friends is what we discover.

18. S. (32:04) I heard you say that if the connection between us returned to the Creator, the sign is that we are on the way of the truth. What does it mean that we return to the Creator?

R. What is the sign that we are turning to the Creator is that we are asking from Him to give us connection, to give us the path, the discernment, the connection and rise above from in order to receive to in order to bestow.

S. I’ll ask differently, the fact that we work on the connection between us, this is the actual work on the connection and this is our plea to Him?

R. Depends on how you study, some learn like in university and they don't intend to get closer to the Creator at all, but it depends to which goal you are working towards.

S. Is our goal ultimately, is to reach adhesion with the Creator?

R. Yes, if that is the goal.

S. If that is the goal and we work on the connection between us is the work of connection between us already addressed to the Creator?

R. Yes of course, in order to connect between as you see that it does not succeed and you to turn to the Creator for Him to give us connection.

S. It turns out that your entire path you do not have besides delving more into connection you have nothing else that can help you see that you walk correctly?

R. No, besides me seeing that we are going with the friends in this increasing connection and coming closer to an appeal to the Creator, truly the Creator I have no other discernments before that. Well, the love of the world but actually besides attaining the connection I have nothing to do.

S. What does it mean to delve into the connection between us, how does our connection become deeper?

R. “As one man, in one heart,” we are all as one, we are all friends, Haver from the Hebrew word connection, that each is caring for the others and understands that without the friends he himself also does not attain the goal and also his friends will not attain the goal if he will not help him.

S. Should we examine ourselves if we are advancing to adhesion with the Creator?

R. Yes.

S. What is this test, how do you give this test, did we get closer to adhesion with the Creator?

R. To the extent I am adhered to the ten, the Creator is in the ten.

S. Even if he is hidden, your adhesion with the ten means you’re advancing in adhesion towards the Creator?

R. Yes, there is no Creator, there is Bo-Reh, [come and see], you compose and put together in the ten in the right way you receive the feeling of the Creator.

S. The connection we make between us, the intensity of that connection, is this what is called the feeling of the Creator?

R. Not the intensity but when you build the ten in the right way it is considered that you are making the Creator in such a way you can build Him, discover Him and reveal Him.

S. What does He add to the ten?

R. The matter of unity of connection. “The Lord our God, the Lord is One.”

19. S. (37:02) If I have a living teacher who has already made the path to Jerusalem, why don't I have an indication where I am?

R. Again?

S. If I have a teacher, a guide, who is alive and already made the path to Jerusalem, why do I not have an indication of where I am?

R. The teacher brings you. It’s not that you are going, you can just be adhered to the

teacher and then you can go through the path this way.

S. This teacher can tell me another ten kilometers, another twenty kilometers, another one kilometer away?

R. No.

S. Why?

R. He wants you to have the path of truth, persistence.

20. S. (38:10) In bestowal and giving, what can I bestow to the friends on the path to the truth?

R. What can I bestow to my friends on the path of truth? First of all, an example which is keeping the times for studying and for all of our events and so forth, activities that I am meticulously keeping that, because by them we gradually bring the group closer from time to time and join ourselves together.

21. S. (39:04) It is written in the excerpt that although he has done this whole path and he is standing at the gate called the truth which is Lishma he still is on the outside. What will open that gate for Jerusalem for us all and for the whole world?

R. The common demand. The general demand of the ten.

22. S. (39:34) Why do I have to be in the state of truth if the Creator wants me to move to equivalence of form with Him?

R. There is no such thing that the Creator does not want. The Creator wants us to reach equivalence of form with Him.

S. Meaning that falsehood is part of the path.

23. S. (40:00) I heard that while you are driving with Rabash he used to say to you to go over the potholes real fast so that you do not feel them or so there is less shaking of the car. I feel that I'm completely swallowed by my will to receive to the extent that I don’t even see the potholes, so how will I be able to come to the path of truth?

R. Did I actually say that?

S. You once shared that you used to travel with Rabash and he would tell you to go over the bumps so you don’t feel the holes in the street that you go fast over them.

R. Okay, so well, what’s the question?

S. He’s saying that he’s truly swallowed by the will to receive and he doesn’t even see these holes on the path. He’s asking how do we get to the truth?

R. I do not think it is a good example that you’re bringing up now. I think the best example is on the path that we know exactly where we are according to where I am and how much we are allowed to drive and we follow the instructions and that’s how the reach the goal safely. That’s what Rabash cared about actually, he always forbade me from driving faster than 90 km/h, that's it.

24. S.(42:07) What kind of falsehood are we talking about? We are trying to connect and straight away we opposed. We know our Lord is One, we start praying and asking, and we know that we are going to Jerusalem, so where is the falsehood here, how to uncover it?

R. Jerusalem is called complete fear, or awe, or wholeness. How to discover the path to Jerusalem? Only by connecting more and more and we’re afraid of disconnecting from each other we become even more compressed together and that’s how we get there. That’s all I can say for now. Yrushalaim, Jerusalem, that is complete awe.

S. We know that There’s None Else Besides Him, we know that there is one path, we know what we need to do so why is it a lie, what is the lie here?

R. How do you take instructions to go on the right path?

S. There is a teacher.

R. If there’s a teacher then you close your eyes and you go after him. But we are saying that everyone should become like a guide.

S. Before we reach Lishma, before we come to Jerusalem we are not there yet.

R. Even to follow your teacher you still need to be with your eyes open. You read about what happened on the way to Jerusalem or to the land of Israel, how they were all basically didn’t feel, didn’t understand, made mistakes.

S. What are the means to remain on the correct path before you reach Jerusalem?

R. Only connection, only connection that there will truly be tens and hundreds and thousands like they had and the more they keep their inner structure they’re certainly advancing correctly to the outer structure.

S. The tens and the hundreds and the thousands don't need something to stand there for Jerusalem?

R. The character of Moses leads them.

S. In our case it is you?

R. No, it’s that we are all scrutinizing together and depicting before us the image of Moses. I am not taking on myself this kind of role.

25. S. (46:47) What does it mean to keep the inner structure?

R. To keep the internal structure, the ten. The ten, there is nothing more to say here. That we are all connected, we are all interdependent, that we are all feel that without all of us together we are not going to reach the goal.

S. The concern of the whole ten together even that one thinks this way, one is accustomed to another way?

R. Everyone should think differently and specifically together they establish wholeness, perfection.

S. That stabilizing thing, what causes this establishment because it’s not external it’s probably something internal?

R. That even though despite each and everyone’s nature and character they are willing to give up on themselves in order to become connected as much as they can nullify themselves to be connected and in that connection they wish to reveal the One, Upper Force to everyone.

S. In what does each of our desires express when we are in the right process of annulment? Is it external, is it internal, is it in the feeling how…?

R. The correct process annulment is that I depict the connection between us above in its importance above all above each and everyone and certainly myself.

26. S. (48:58) Truth and false are very abstract qualities to convince somebody is very difficult even not recommended according to your advice and the advice of the sages. From time to time beyond the work in the ten that would lead us to the complete connection and the revelation of the truth, sometimes there are things that show outside of this circle that seemingly come to some kind of a signal to us despite the persistence and all the things that go on in the ten that nevertheless, the Creator is a giant and yesterday I was exposed to such a thing. I think it was an amazing event, whoever organized it and a friend came to me, that about ten years ago he was exposed and asked about Kabbalah. Crumbs for years here and there, a few different discussions and a week ago he called me and he said he wanted to and understand what the wisdom is. He decided he doesn't want to talk about religion or about God and my question is that are these sensors, the signs that the Creator is giving even though we have to go on the path and go on the path because that is the path. So do these signs need to be related with importance? Do we have to relate to them as something outstanding or something additional?

R. I don't pay attention to such things people ask, turn and speak. It passes next to me. I have my ten and outside of the group there are other ten’s, dozens or even hundreds of them and I am connected to them and I am not created in order to now explain to anybody who has nothing to do, who comes once in ten years to philosophize with him. That’s it, it is very simple.

S. Okay, sorry the meaning was a little bit different. If somebody is going on the path and knows that the truth is only the revelation of the Creator in the group, does he need to disconnect himself from the whole broad spectrum of what is around us?

R. To disconnect? I do not know what that means, but not to get confused, not to connect to them. Why should I connect with their thoughts, their desires. What do I get from that?

S. How will we come to disseminate the wisdom to the whole world?

R. No. Don’t try to put all the questions into this. I do not want to be connected to anybody who has other views or confused opinions.

S. He has no opinion’s, he is just trying to comment and get them from me?

R. I am not a doctor.

S. Thank you Rav. It is also an opportunity to raise all of these things and a reason for us to meet.

R. Do not bring them here, only the greatness of the Creator.

27. S. (53:00) Is it correct that only I am in a lie and all my friends are already in Jerusalem?

R. Perhaps you think that and that is good. That should push you to also catch up with them.

28. S. (53:34) We often say that the Creator will complete the work for us. If the Creator would complete the work for us and we have the ten and we turn to the Creator all the time to complete the work for us. Is that not enough confidence that we will eventually reach the goal?

R. It is certain that we will reach the goal, there is no doubt about that because the Creator holds the goal, but on the way to reach the goal we still have to make the required effort, the quota of the effort that is required in order to feel the goal, to sense and grab hold of the goal. And that is our own effort and that effort we have to try to establish it and maintain it and store it in the group.

29. S. (55:00) How to be in the most precise revelation of the deficiency in the ten?

R. Discovering the precise deficiency in the ten? If we connect together and try to detect between us such a connection that in it the Creator becomes revealed. That is the right deficiency. In that connection there has to be direct light, reflected light. In that connection there is the record of each and everybody and how we combine these records together, how we establish and shape ourselves together correctly. That is our work.

30. S. (56:26) I feel a little confusion in this scrutiny because I really identify with the question from the friend before because the falsehood is not on the path. It is the path to the truth. The falsehood is in the states we are feeling before we get to the goal and when we reach some revelation we feel what truth is and what is the difference between the truth and falsehood. The path is a truthful path and the feelings we feel is also important because we need to receive something so as not to run away.

R. Right. You're right.

31. S. (57:07) Not too long ago we started in a format of events that the friends gather. It could be 50 or 100 people and each says his prayer, raising his prayer to the Creator. We call it the prayer to the Creator. Is there a connection in this to the true prayer to the Creator? Is it maybe just a preparation for the prayer?

R. Of course, it is important and it is certainly having an effect and it is useful, it is useful for everybody.

S. Did the Rabash have such?

R. No.

32. S. (58:21) You said that we are connecting our records in this connection. What does it mean, how to do this?

R. We connect in the records which means that we want to reveal the Creator in the general extent that he appears between us and then everybody from his place tries to put in the effort for the revelation of the Creator for all.

33. S. (59:01) Connection in the ten, we have to learn where the direct light, reflected light and the records are found?

R. We are going to learn it later in practice. In a practical way it is going to be revealed and it is becoming clear to all of us.

Reading Excerpt #5. (59:36) “A person cannot know if he has achieved Lishma before he is awarded with entering into Lishma. But when can one know if he has already entered the degree...” Twice.

34. S. (01:01:57) What does it mean that he won't return to folly? Does that mean he will not be able to differentiate between Lishma and Lo Lishma and then he won’t fall?

R. Yes. That too.

35. S. (01:02:19) What is the Testament that the Creator testifies?

R. Testimony of the Creator is that everyone sees. Whoever is on the degree and feels that the Creator agrees with him.

36. S. (01:02:59) I wanted to ask, what is an inner effort and what does it build in a person, that effort?

R. The inner effort is that I try to suppress certain thoughts and desires and elevate and raise the importance of other thoughts and desires.

S. How do I know I'm doing what the will of the Creator is?

R. Usually we learn that from the relationship between the friends. If I connect with them and follow, fulfill their will, then I turn to the Creator from that. I work towards the Creator because he resides in this center of the connection between us, so what I ultimately bestow to the friends, it reaches the Creator.

S. We learn that to the extent that we ask, we advance. How to come to that state in which we put the Creator in every action, we make him a partner an active partner just like we read to poorer ones conversing to a friend?

R. That's according to the scrutiny, that we clarify how much we can carry out the will of the Creator, that we understand that we can’t and then we turn to Him and ask for understanding and strength and that's how we become partners with him. Everything is in the simplest possible manner.

37. S. (01:05:12) Yesterday we read this expert and the question came out, how does a person know that he won't return to folly, how does a person know that?

R. For now that's what he feels. That he has confidence from above that he will only make actions of bestowal.

S. An article came up. There is an article about Shimon from the market where he fell. How does that connect together?

R. There's no righteous person on the land who did good without committing a sin. Because if he did good first he had to fall before. Rabbi Shimon fell, felt himself like he is in a great decline and then he said that from that I know that I'm in a great descent.

S. Does that clash with one another?

R. It doesn't. One comes after the other. You should read about it.

38. S. (01:06:47) Why does a person even want to know if he reached Lishma?

R. Lishma means that all his actions are for the sake of heaven, the sake of the Creator and for the sake of all created beings. So he wants to know if he reached such a degree that this is the completion of his correction.

S. It’s not enough for him that he is working in the direction there?

R. What do you mean by working? Who knows how you are working and what you will get out of it.

S. What you are saying is obviously correct. When I ask whether I reached Lishma, where does that question come from? Does it come from the will to receive to want to know that I have come there?

R. That you will know if you have reached it or not, even from your ego.

S. I actually understand from you that it is okay to ask that question?

R. You can always ask.

39. S. (01:07:59) Can it be that something negative will happen in 1994, that is how he ends it. Can something negative come down from above? So, correct me. That a lie is not a negative thing, it could also be a positive thing. That's what he's actually saying, it could be that something negative could come down from above? What does he mean, that the lie we are living in is not a negative thing?

R. We learn through both. Through truth and false. If we don't receive one time truth and the other time false also intermittently and in different states then we won't know how we correct ourselves, how we identify what needs to be corrected.

S. In our life a negative thing is a lie. What, you lie, what are you talking about? You don't talk that way. But here a lie is something that advances you?

R. Of course, the lie advances you. That's why the Creator says “I created the evil inclination” and that is first. Before the Torah, the evil inclination was created.

S. You mean that a lie is actually a positive thing that advances us.

R. In order to advance us the lie was created. We have to understand how necessary these things are.

Reading Excerpt #6 (01:09:56) “It is known that it is impossible to see a small object and it is easier to see a large object. Hence, when a person commits a few lies, he cannot see the truth that he is walking on a false path...”

40. S. (01:13:05) I'm a little confused if I understand correctly according to the explanation, to be in truth is only the final correction?

R. The truth is only the final correction.

S. Meaning all the path of going through the degrees, across the Machsom there is still working between the lie and the truth. The fact that I am studying and learning that I am aware of this and that I am not doing the right path?

R. It is the correct path towards truth, however you are still kind of halfway through.

S. There is a state where a person is convinced he is in the truth, they know they are in their ego and self love does not enable them to be on the path of truth, bestowal like we say. They deal with it and say, I am not okay and they come to the conclusion that I didn't operate nicely or right here and there are states in the ten where you get this feedback from a friend and correct themselves or at least they make the effort and are aware of this?

R. Okay.

S. The perception is either the truth or false is not necessarily always, there are states where a person is really on the path of truth and then he falls again to the lie?

R. Yes, but he is still in one of the two states.

S. Meaning the final truth is only the final correction until then there is work where we have to constantly return?

R. Yes, you are correct, you are right.

41. S. (01:15:30) What does it mean a big falsehood, a lie is a lie, no?

R. If the lies are little you can’t really identify them whereas with big lies we can see them, we can reveal them.

S. When do we discover the big lie in the stages of the work?

R. It is in the stages of the work.

S. A person does some kind of action towards connection and he discovers that it is a lie and he did not do it for the Creator, it was not the right intention and that is called a lie, a falsehood. What is the difference between this falsehood and a great falsehood?

R. A small lie or a big lie, the difference between them is how far a person is from this illusion, and it's not that it's the same for everyone, whether it's the smart person or a small person, a great person or a little person so we check everything according to the person.

S. Can we say that when a person discovers some small lie in his work afterwards he discovers that all that he did was one big lie, meaning all that he has done?

R. Yes that's possible too. Let's say so, yes.

42. S. (01:17:28) What is after the second restriction?

R. I don't know what is after the second restriction, I know that we are in the preparation for Lishma.

43. S. (01:17:51) What is the end of the falsehood, how does it end?

R. It's when the entire will to receive is revealed.

44. S. (01:18:21) Can we repent from the state of Lo Lishma to Lishma?

R. If we are already in Lishma then we can certainly fall into Lo Lishma and then later with our work we can rise to Lishma and again fall to Lo Lishma and so on.

45. S. (01:19:95) Since we are working to try to work in Lishma, what does Rabash mean when first we need to prepare the biggest Lo Lishma? How are we preparing for this big Lo Lishma?

R. We have to get closer to Lishma as much as possible and understand that the work Lo Lishma that we are in for now, is also great work. It is also very great, very important and respected work.

46. S. (01:20:03) How do we scrutinize the lie without losing the confidence or the strength to work?

R. We scrutinize it not in our actions but it's when the Creator illuminates to us and then we understand how much of a will to receive there is in our actions and how much of a will to bestow.

47. S. (01:20:41) A person comes to a state where he already feels that it is not worthwhile to live, is this considered that he has reached Lishma?

R. No, he is despaired in his own strength.

48. S. (01:21:28) I understand when you are in Lo Lishma and you kind of hope to be Lishma  and someone that has not yet entered that circle, how do you even go through attaining this state of Lishma when you are not in spirituality. I will try again. I understand when you are not in Lishma it is a high state but you are not there yet. Someone who is not at all in this circle and not even in Lo Lishma, how do you enter all together into that circle and even attain Lo Lishma?

R. I enter into the circle and I try to take an example from the friends and this is how I approach them until I come to Lo Lishma.

S. Someone who is in a state of Lishma and fell into a state of Lo Lishma, can he fall outwards altogether?

R. It says “don't believe in yourself until the day you die.”

S. Until the will to receive dies?

R. Don't think you can smoothly go to the end of correction.

49. S. (01:23:06) It is written that the lies grow until you can see the lies if you want, do we need to look for the lies or for the truth?

R. We need to look for the truth compared or relative to the lies then we will surely identify it correctly.

50. S. (01:23:50) In a state of Lishma is it only the intention that changes or also the action?

R. Of course the action as well, what is the action, the changing of desires is already a changing of the intentions it is a changing of state.

51. S. (01:24:27) How long can we stay on this bridge between truth and falsehood? How can we advance and exit from this bridge?

R. This is only through adhesion with the group or if you are going together with it all of the time it takes you across the bridge.

52. S. (01:25:13) This article that we have just read kind of gives a picture that we have to be kind of in the middle where we sense the lies and at the same time truth. I wanted to find out what is that state where you can sense the two worlds and you are walking between it and you are trying not to fall down for the foolishness of the false God. What is that state because that is what that article impresses on me?

R. When I'm connected to the friends and my future depends only on the connection with them.

53. S. (01:26:18) Can you explain the importance of repentance?

R. No, put simply as Rabash says, Hey will return to Vav, Teshuvah, [repentance]. Teshuv and Hey, that is the full word for redemption in Hebrew, Teshuvah. Malchut Hey becomes similar to ZA Vav meaning in order to bestow. That is the essence of the word Teshuvah, [repentance].
