Reading: (00:14) 4. Rabash. Article No. 12, 1991. "These Candles Are Sacred"

The most important is the prayer. That is, one must pray to the Creator to help him go above reason, meaning that the work should be with gladness, as though he has already been rewarded with the reason of Kedusha, and what joy he would feel then. Likewise, he should ask the Creator to give him this power, so he can go above the reason of the body. In other words, although the body does not agree to this work in order to bestow, he asks the Creator to be able to work with gladness, as is suitable for one who serves a great king. He does not ask the Creator to show the greatness of the Creator, and then he will work gladly. Rather, he wants the Creator to give him joy in the work of above reason, that it will be as important to a person as if he already has reason.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (02:07) Why doesn't he want to see the greatness of the Creator, but only to work in gladness as though he has it?

M. Laitman: If he has gladness, and he works out of gladness, then clearly, it's clear how he works, how he relates to the Creator and to all of his work. But if he doesn't have sufficient foundations or inner infrastructure for joy, then he at least asks the Creator to help him as if he does have joy, as if he has the goal, as if he achieves the goal. That is what he asks for. And then it's clear that he's not asking for himself, because he has no joy. But with respect to the Creator, that's what he can do.

Student: Why not want the greatness of the Creator? If you have the greatness of the Creator, that will cover everything, that he exists in a greater world and he has a…

M. Laitman: It's as if he doesn't deserve it yet, he feels he doesn't deserve it, it doesn't come to him, and therefore he asks to have at least that.

Student: Why doesn't he deserve the greatness of the Creator?

M. Laitman: Because he doesn't come to Lishma, he makes efforts to get there, but he doesn't have that yet. And then he asks, as if he does.

Student: Meaning, he identifies, he recognizes that he doesn't have a true request for the greatness of the Creator?

M. Laitman: No, he has a request for the greatness of the Creator, but that request hasn't yet materialized in him.

Student: He writes here that he does not ask for the greatness of the Creator, but only to work in joy as though he has it.

M. Laitman: Yes, as if this will not be his request.

Student: Why not? If he has a desire for the greatness of the Creator, why does he not ask to have a desire for the greatness of the Creator?

M. Laitman: He's not asking to not have a desire, on the contrary, he has a desire, but it's still not realized.

Student: So, what exactly is he asking for?

M. Laitman: He's asking for the greatness of the Creator, that the Creator will shine it upon him, and he'll be able to work on top of everything that appears to him now, in a way that will be called to, in order to bestow, above reason.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (05:59) He's not asking for the greatness of the Creator, but I understand he also does not object to receiving the greatness of the Creator, right? It's not a condition it's work, but he doesn't care, right? Whatever the Creator wants, he'll agree to it, right?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: So, could it be that we will be happy in the work if we give some condition to the Creator?

M. Laitman: We? From ourselves?

Student: Meaning, if we condition our work, we place some condition, some limitation, can we still be in joy?

M. Laitman: There are conditions that we can present to the Creator, and there are conditions where we can't, and we don't want it also, so it'll be close to reception.

Student: Right, so my question is, is it possible that a person gives conditions to the Creator, and still he's in true joy? Can there be such a thing?

M. Laitman: Okay, I guess I need to think about it.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (07:23) If a person is asking from the Creator that he'll be able to work in joy, even though the body does not agree to work in order to bestow, so what kind of request is that? Is it a request in order to bestow?

M. Laitman: He does have a request, because the body shows him that he's not in that state.

Student: This joy that he's asking for, what is that?

M. Laitman: That is the joy that he wants to raise to the Creator.

Student: There is no, in order to receive in this joy, because he can't go above reason, but he objects to that. So this joy seems like, give me something.

M. Laitman: Yes, but the person is in a state that he knows to what extent he can ask, and where is he truly with the Creator, and that's it. And then he sees that whatever he asks is, these are things that are necessary for the person, and it will not hurt the reception of abundance from the Creator.

Student: How is this joy necessary? Why won't it be joy, you know, in order to receive?

M. Laitman: It will not be in order to receive, because there's already a space within the person that's divided to two. One is in order to receive, the other is in order to bestow.

Student: And the joy, it flows where?

M. Laitman: And the joy has to dress into receiving in order to bestow.

Student: And how can you be happy in the world of above reason if the body objects to that?

M. Laitman: Specifically because the body objects.

Student: So how does it coincide?

M. Laitman: It goes together because your reception is not in order to enjoy.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (10:11) What is the connection between joy in the work, in my overcoming and the revelation of the Creator, or a connection with the Creator?

M. Laitman: You're overcoming, you want to raise it so that it's clear that whatever you're doing, you're not doing it out of a desire to enjoy, rather from a desire to bring joy to the Creator, to the society, right? So, until we receive a sign for it, for each and every one, we cannot arrive at the action itself of bestowal.

Student: What does it mean to scrutinize the joy, Rav? You're not telling me that the joy, I should have It's not inside my vessels, but this joy should be through the friends. Should I feel it through the friends?

M. Laitman: This joy needs to come from the clothing of the Creator to the upper light.

Student: So if I enjoy my work, the overcoming in the path, then directly I'm delighting the Creator?

M. Laitman: No.

Student: So I'm asking again, how by me overcoming and asking for joy, how in this connection to the Creator, what am I giving to the Creator here? How am I bestowing to Him here by asking for joy?

M. Laitman: You, in the meantime, aren't bestowing, but you're showing Him that you don't want to work with vessels of reception.

Student: So how in my scrutiny, in this joy that I'm asking for, it's not for me, but it's for, I don't even know who to call it. So who is this joy that I'm asking for? For whom is it?

M. Laitman: The joy could be either for you, or for the group, or for the Creator.

Student: So I need to ask for this joy for the common vessel, not for myself, right? That's my request that is the most correct?

M. Laitman: Right.

Question (Merkaz 1): (13:25) Why is there importance to act that the next degree?

M. Laitman: This is the condition that only in this way you can rise to that degree. Meaning, there is something that's inside of you, and you realize it, and there is something that doesn't exist inside you, but you want it.

Question (W Latin 26): (14:06) What is the purpose of the joy, specifically in the state of concealment, when the body does not taste the work of bestowal?

M. Laitman: In such a way, in these stages, we advance to clearer and clearer work with the Creator. That's it for now.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (14:36) In the first part, where we read a Shamati article, and then you explained about the article, and your whole explanation was focused only on the work in the Ten.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: Even though Shamati articles, seemingly, speak about the work of the person opposite the Creator, but you took the entire article to the work inside the Ten. Now, what you explained is also the work of the Creator, opposite the Creator, individually, seemingly, personally. Is there such a thing, working opposite the Creator personally? Is there room for this and for that?

M. Laitman: Seemingly. We'll have to clarify it more. There's more room for clarification here.

Student: What is special about the work in the Ten, that specifically there is the upper force, that specifically there we can get into Him, enter Him?

M. Laitman: If we connect to the friends, and wish to be together in a single desire towards one Creator, and receive only for Him, this is called a complete prayer. And that's what we hold on to, and that's what we wish to rise in.

Student: In the work in the Ten, is there increasing depth, or we always hit a wall? I'm relating badly to the friends, I see it, and I want a correction for it. I want to relate well to them, relate in a good way to them, just like the Creator relates to them. Is there some work that we need to do deeper in the Ten, or there's always some wall and we ask for that? How in the end, we reach the revelation of the Creator in the Ten?

M. Laitman: So, I need to relate to the friends, just like the Creator, and in this way, I can reach that to bestow.

Student: What is the right attitude towards friends? The attitude I need to reach, the way the Creator relates to them, and I want to be like Him.

M. Laitman: I want, through me, to fill them with all fulfillments, with no limitations.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (18:11) The body sometimes does not allow you turning to the Creator, being with the friends. Tiredness. How to reach that state of knocking and knocking without tiredness, without relent? How to reach that?

M. Laitman: Usually you don't connect that to tiredness, because in spirituality, there is no such thing as being tired. In spirituality, everything depends on pleasure or suffering, greatness of the Creator, or not sufficient greatness of the Creator, but there is no such thing that when I receive from the Creator, because who else am I receiving from, in the end? And it turns out that it's not sufficient for me.

Student: Insufficient, are you talking about not having the power to knock, reach the Creator?

M. Laitman: That I can't implement the action of bestowal.

Student: And how to overcome it, how to reach that force?

M. Laitman: You ask for it, that's a matter of the degrees.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (19:55) I heard previously that you said that there are two places of enjoyment, of delight, a person needs to divide, be divided. What's the difference between a person's enjoyment in the will, and above the will?

M. Laitman: Above the will, pleasure is unlimited, on any degree or state, or relation. The desire, the will, is everything, a person can work from within it in a clear way. For the person itself. That's why it's worth it for us to do actions constantly towards our desire.

Student: Actions towards the desire so as to rise above it?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: And how to maintain that status of being above the desire, so nothing falls into the desire?

M. Laitman: As much as you measure yourself, check if you can add more of the desire, and then you'll reach the state when you don't have anything else to add. So that supposedly is the end of your current desire.

Student: To add, from the will to receive?

M. Laitman: From the will to receive in order to bestow, your current one, that you can discover in you, that with this, now you are working.

Student: And that's why he asks not to see the greatness of the Creator?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: So he doesn't fall into the desire to enjoy it.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: So what do we need to ask for?

M. Laitman: We need to ask for forces to bestow, especially to receive in order to bestow.

Student: So that's already receiving in order to bestow.

M. Laitman: That you use the will to receive you have in this current degree, and from within that will to receive, you check yourself, can you use it, that desire in order to bestow, or not? In order to receive is in a person, that's how he's born, that's how he develops, and except for in order to receive of a person, there's no other force that can practically be in order to receive. Only in man, because the still, vegetative inanimate, we don't take that into consideration, they don't have any discernments between the degree of the still, vegetative and inanimate, or the will to bestow. That degree, the still, vegetative and inanimate. That's why we work only in the will to receive in order to bestow of a person.

Student: Meaning, that we have to use whatever substance is revealed in us, right? There is no alternative.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Question (Kyiv 1): (24:38) You said that we can check how to use the will to receive in order to bestow more and more. How do you examine the boundaries, like this part of the will to receive, I can use to bestow and that I can't?

M. Laitman: That can be done from within the work. Only from within the work and our efforts.

Student: Today we talked about joy, and how I can use some of that joy, for the sake of the friends, the Creator, but not for my own sake.

M. Laitman: I see that I can work with such pleasures, that I can receive in order to give joy to my friends. That's clear to me. That's why when the Creator demands some kind of actions from me, so I can do it, to receive for Him.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (26:16) Is there a difference if a person wants to bestow upon the friends from the greatness of the Creator that he feels? Is there a difference between that and wanting to bestow upon the friends, in faith above reason, through the resistance of his will to receive?

M. Laitman: No, it should be clear to him, what is the address, who is he working for? Who is that Creator that I should listen to his voice?

Student: So the joy that comes to him comes out of him being able to take advantage of the opportunity now offered to him, and without anything coming back to his will to receive?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (27:21) Still, regarding the place of joy, a person is happy because the will to receive is in despair, it's powerless, and then he can reach prayer? Or is it that he can rise above the will to receive, despite the will to receive, pray and go above reason?

M. Laitman: How can he go above with the will to receive?

Student: Above the will to receive - he has the will to receive, but alongside the friends, through the influence of the environment, he manages to transcend it and to pray. Or is that impossible?

M. Laitman: I don't understand where is that force that he wants to raise himself with.

Student: A person's desire is to reach the quality of bestowing, to give contentment to the Creator, to do something outside of himself, but our will to receive manipulates us, doesn't allow us to reach that.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: And we need to reach the request that the Creator will change our nature so that we can do it.

M. Laitman: That the Creator will change our nature, meaning from the will to receive to an order to bestow.

Student: Yes, from in order to receive to in order to bestow. Now the difficulty is the request, to reach that request. So, our joy comes from the fact that the will to receive is in despair, and then I can reach the request, or is it such that together with the friends, I manage to transcend above the will to receive and to ask, even though the will to receive itself is not in despair.

M. Laitman: That I don't really understand, even though that our will to receive isn't in despair. How?

Student: So despair has to be there?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Question (Haifa 5): (29:30) Can you be in joy when the Creator lets me feel empty and helpless, and unable to perform any corrections, to make any corrections?

M. Laitman: No, for certain times maybe, supposedly such a feeling, but actually, no.

Student: So it's impossible to feel joy in parallel or simultaneously with being in despair from one's own power.

M. Laitman: You can feel happiness if you turn to the Creator, to that source of the force, and then you, when you turn to Him, so you ask of Him, you demand of Him, that He will perform that action, a certain action, because in this action, you can be a partner in bestowal.

Student: And then, despite my despair, I can still be in joy at the same time?

M. Laitman: Your despair comes from your own forces, that you want to bestow, and you can't.

Student: Right.

M. Laitman: And here, in your current request, where will the despair come from?

Student: The question is, if at that moment I demand to be joyous, because otherwise there is a flaw.

M. Laitman: We'll see. We'll see.

M. Laitman: To bestow in happiness?

Student: Is the ultimate goal to reach a state where you bestow happily and within reason?

Student: So is that the ultimate goal?

M. Laitman: To be happy, you need that desire that performs an action with the will to receive. And bring the will to receive to a state that it receives and bestows from within that.

Student: So is it correct to say that it's the point in the heart? I identify with the point in the heart. I look out from within it.

M. Laitman: Yes.

M. Laitman: How does the joy affect the deficiency? Joy can increase your deficiency, can raise you to a different degree. That depends on as much as we appreciate who we're bestowing to.

Question (Woman PT 33): (34:26) How can a person tell if his overcoming is from the desire to delight the Creator and not the desire to delight oneself?

M. Laitman: A person who enjoys some kind of spiritual action, and receives pleasure from it, is filled, raises himself in such a way, so he, along with that, feels an addition of light. What addition of light he receives? For the sake of the Creator, and from that he gets pleasure.

Question (Haifa 3): (35:31) What can I fill the friends with if I have nothing inside of me?

M. Laitman: From what can I give joy to the friends? Light drawing from above, the upper light, for everyone. For everyone.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (36:11) Above reason, is that a force that you receive?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: And that force, that power is received in the vessel, right?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: It doesn't exist in the person. I don't feel that I have it in me right now to receive with.

M. Laitman: It could be that you open that vessel sometimes, but right now, you don't.

Student: So how to build that vessel? It feels like a completely different reality.

M. Laitman: When you want to receive above reason, so what vessel do you need? A vessel of reception or a vessel of bestowal?

Student: I think bestowal.

M. Laitman: You think bestowal?

Student: It doesn't exist in me.

M. Laitman: We'll see. And when you open for that calculation, your will to receive, in order to receive. So will be to receive in order to receive, to receive in order to bestow, what will it be?

Student: To receive in order to receive.

M. Laitman: Why?

Student: Because I don't yet have the vessel with which to receive in order to bestow.

M. Laitman: Why don't you have it? If you calculate now in your will to receive in order to bestow, so you'll have it.

M. Laitman: Bestowing in order to bestow means that for himself he has nothing, first of all. And towards the others, he is willing to receive in order to bestow to the others.

M. Laitman: In order to bestow.

Student: So that's a degree called receiving in order to bestow. What is bestowing in order to bestow?

M. Laitman: Bestowing in order to bestow is that he wants to receive in his own vessels and from those vessels, that he's filled with the light of bestow, he bestows to the others, to the one he wants to bestow to.

Student: And what is that degree called?

M. Laitman: That's called receiving in order to bestow.

Student: And what is to bestow in order to bestow?

M. Laitman: Bestowing in order to bestow is the same vessel that he has now in order to receive. And bestowing to the others outside of him but he till now not using it.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (42:00) Is there a certain amount of time between the degree of bestowing in order to bestow and the degree of receiving in order to bestow? Or can they be really adjacent, close to each other? How does it work?

M. Laitman: Bestowing in order to bestow is clear to us. You don't use the will to receive, and what else?

Student: When you reach receiving in order to bestow, can there be such a thing where within that action, without time, meaning that we cross, pass over bestowing in order to bestow and immediately reach receiving in order to bestow. So there has to be a certain time of bestowal in order to bestow.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (43:16) He writes that the work has to be with joy as though one has already been awarded with the reason of holiness, meaning that the person isn't in holiness, he's on the opposite side?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: Now, specifically at that point, a person, when he knows he's opposite, he can perform an action above reason.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: And he needs to always be in that discernment that he's opposite and wants to be on the other side. I'm asking about the prayer. The prayer is... It has to come from that oppositeness, but also it has to be contained within your desired destination where you want to reach.

M. Laitman: We're playing with the will to receive here. Once we can discover it on our behalf, once we can discover it not on our behalf, but on a different side, from the other side, and that's what confuses us.

Student: How to maintain that confusion? If the will to receive wants everything to be organized, compartmentalized, understood, how do you yourself maintain that confusion? That's the question. There has to be this recognition of nature, no? You have to recognize your nature, where you are, and the goal of bestowal also has to be understood as something that's outside of you. Where is there a place for confusion inside all this?

M. Laitman: But you see how with one action we can already be confused.

Student: If it's not you manipulating us like that, I don't see where I could agree to that confusion.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: So how can we do it without Rav's manipulations, spinning? I understand the need for the confusion, because the will to receive really does want everything to be clear, to know where it's heading, and we want to go against it, so it's clear why the confusion is necessary. The question is how to do it without... How do we do it? How can I manipulate my will to receive?

M. Laitman: How do you spin around your will to receive?

Student: Yes, so that it walks in darkness, in an unclear state.

M. Laitman: So you want to reach a purpose of creation without correcting the vessel?

Student: No, to the contrary, I want to correct the vessel.

M. Laitman: So you don't want to discover it?

M. Laitman: Well, you have to think about it.

Student: No, I don't need to think. That's exactly it. I don't want things to be clear to me. I want to advance through difficulty with a burden, but by myself. How can I do that?

M. Laitman: Where do you feel that you are you, or it's not you.

M. Laitman: I don't know. That's a matter of calculations. It's a matter of seniority in some way. But I can't recommend anything about that. If you go deeper into our scrutiny, then you gradually start discovering where between all our words that we're speaking what belongs to the will to bestow, what belongs to the will to receive. Just you need to scrutinize this. You see, I don't have words for it usually either. And the simple actions that we don't really want to engage in - bestowing in order to bestow, receiving in order to bestow. So there we can talk about it. It's clear to everyone. But clear to everyone will be under the condition that we translate our desires towards bestowal and reception. And here it's not that clear. Here it's not that clear to us. Why? Because we still didn't discover, truly, to a true depth, that we didn't discover our vessels. And that's why it's a problem.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (50:39) What does the prayer build between the Creator and the created being?

M. Laitman: A connection? Yes. Connection.

Student: Connection.

M. Laitman: And without a prayer, you can't finish your action.

Student: Does the prayer have to be such that I'll have a prayer?

M. Laitman: It could be that a few actions are needed, that in the end they all build that one general action that closes off on all of them and brings them to a solution.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (52:15) You just said that we haven't yet discovered the depth of our vessels, which is a problem.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: What should we do in order to be active and hasten the times, in order to reveal the depth of our vessels? There's a certain gap between where we are now and the depth we have to attain. So what can we do to hasten the times and to reach the required Arvut?

M. Laitman: I'd say that what's needed of us is not to be afraid to open the vessels and to go deeper and deeper in them more and more. But we still don't understand how to do that. That's the problem. That's the main problem.

Student: What does it mean that we're afraid to open the vessels? What fear are we facing? And how to overcome it?

M. Laitman: All the suffering that you can discover by the Torah, that it's horrible suffering, it comes from you wanting to open the vessels of reception under the condition that you have a screen in order to bestow. And how to do those actions in a different way with the screen so you don't have an ability. That's why here we need to... You see, I still don't have words for this. Here we need an ability in discovering the desires to bestow that we will be able to bestow. And the lights that will come against it, from Ein Sof. How will we get to it? At least in the questions I think you understand me. That's why we don't have any choice but to open ourselves to that same upper light that needs to be received in corrected vessels. And we are ready to receive it, even though we don't know how to receive it. And then when the light comes, we will scrutinize that delta, that gap between Him and our vessels that are already existing in us now. And from that gap, we will be able to correct the vessel, meaning to build some kind of action that will be an action on a higher degree than what we are on now, when we think and speak. That's it. Then we'll be able to come closer to it. And no more. I'll confuse people if I keep going.

Student: There's more concealed than revealed here. How do we get closer to that delta you were talking about just now? What is required of us in order to advance to that area, that zone you were talking about? You talked about fear that's holding us back.

M. Laitman: Yes, there are a lot of words here, but there still isn't, behind them, any material in the heart and mind that can change according to the words.

Student: How did you manage to advance in these places with Rabash?

M. Laitman: I'd say that it's from an inner effort. The way that Rabash works inside, that's why I wasn't talking about, because it was clear to me that if I transfer it into words, it will just disappear.

Student: So, what you're saying is, it's all just delving into the inner work and making an effort.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (01:00:22) You talked about an action a person should perform. So my question is, what action should a person perform in order to connect the light with his vessels, even in his current degree? As you said, we haven't yet opened the vessels all the way through, but we're still with the vessels of reception. So the question is, what is the action? You said that a person should perform an action which connects the light and his vessels. So what is that action?

M. Laitman: We invite light from above, and we don't have vessels to receive it. Then we are in a gap between one and the other. So the question is, what should we do concretely, now? There has to be a solution here. What is the solution? Between that vessel that is revealed now, or was revealed before in me, and the vessel that will be revealed later on, after all my efforts. So how do I come from the vessel that I can demand now, to the vessel that will come to me, even without a deficiency of myself, a clear deficiency, that it will open, it will open and I'll feel the light in it, that to begin with, built it, I can't build it, but according to my demand, the light works in it and opens it, and in this way, when we talk about it, it becomes more clear? It becomes more clear that the light that needs to come, it doesn't come just by me drawing it from the Creator, but I awaken it, but it's not that I draw it, there are a few more actions that we can't talk about right now, because we still don't have a feeling of spiritual actions, and that's why we are in, we're stuck in this state.

Student: What's the difference between the awakening of the light and drawing the light?

M. Laitman: The awakening from the light is from above, and drawing the light is from below, and we need to do an action from below. That's it.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (01:05:05) Does it mean that the light can be received in vessels which are unprepared?

M. Laitman: No, that can't be. That cannot be.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (01:05:25) First of all, the explanation you just gave us is very beautiful, but I didn't understand exactly, there's a point called the light of scrutiny, the light of clarity, a person draws the light, he doesn't receive it yet, he's still in the middle, he's conducting some kind of scrutiny. What is that point? This little laboratory in his will to receive, it's not for himself, it's not for bestowal, there's some scrutiny being done. So what is that space, the place where there's this little gap, this little void where a person is scrutinizing?

M. Laitman: It's the light that performs an action. We don't learn about all the actions, but the light that performs an action, before it bursts out in the vessel and invites from that vessel a certain action upon itself. And that light, we're not learning about right now. We need to keep going, go deeper, and then we'll have words, and we'll be able to also talk about those stages.

Student: So, from all these actions, there are many actions here, discernments. What's important for us? What action is relevant to us that we can do by our own power, not only when the light is acting on us?

M. Laitman: In all these things, we need, eventually, to go deeper, and to try and be present in it.

Student: There's an order, a sequence of actions here, that the Creator does with the person. So, what does the person do by himself?

M. Laitman: A person has to ask the Creator to do it for him, and he needs to feel that the Creator will reveal these actions for him. And then, according to that asking and feeling, he performs actions from within himself, on behalf of the vessel. So, there are a few actions that we don't even have the words for yet.

Student: You said a few times that we don't have the words, and we don't have the vessels, and you recommend that we make an effort and dive deeper. So, how can we take a step forward? How can we delve deeper and discover these emotions?

M. Laitman: The more you come closer to it, by reading it a few times, by trying to find these actions inside our vessel, meaning between the screen and the light, the screen and the desire, so it'll help us advance. There's a group bestowal here, all in all, also. I don't actually know what else I can ... I don't have the words either, because the words is when we already have those inner discernments, in you, in me, and in someone else. So, if we're talking about it, we're talking about a specific desire, a screen, a coersness, an action that begins from the root of the light and ends with the light itself.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (01:11:03) You say that you have no words. What is the condition for you to have words?

M. Laitman: It depends on a lot of things, and not only you. But the main thing is that in your desire you can awaken the help of the Creator from above.

Student: So, what should be our reaction when we hear from you that you have no words?

M. Laitman: Search for it. Search, try and go deeper into what I'm talking about, because I'm not talking about concealed things. And that against these words, you'll have feelings.

Student: You said that we need to open ourselves up to the light.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: What is that action? How do we open ourselves up to the influence of the light on us?

M. Laitman: That we're ready to all the actions of the light in us, that it will perform an action that is more clear, that is closer to us, that we want to hug His action, to hug His action, and that we want to feel His actions, really, from zero to the place of implementation.

Student: How do we empower the operation of the light?

M. Laitman: That I want to change. I want the light to come and perform all its actions upon me in a way that from His actions, I will have things that are clear. Clear, at least, not in order to tell about it, that's even another effort, but clear according to the actions between the lights and vessels, what He does and how, as a result of it, vessels are born in me.

Student: So for the vessels to be adapted, what is required for them to be adapted to what the light now wants to bestow upon them?

M. Laitman: That's what we're doing. That's what we're doing. The main thing is to go deeper into what we're talking about and the way we want to advance, how we can grasp these things more in our internality, and that's it. Everything's on the way.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (01:14:47) A little point, I hope it doesn't contradict it, but rather to the contrary. We live in a physical world. Now, when a person comes and does something for the society, whatever it is, he cleans up the building, he teaches in campus, something, podcast room, whatever it may be. Then suddenly, he starts scrutinizing life in a completely different way, according to everything we just talked about here. So, what is the connection between what you did with your animal body for the society? I'm not talking about taking care of your own necessities. What is the connection between things you did physically for the society and your later scrutinies about life? How do these two things relate?

M. Laitman: It's too early. How do we scrutinize and see the connection between us and the connections between the Sefirot, or the lights and vessels? We don't have enough words for this. We don't have enough vessels like electricity that we can be filled and pass those lights that are in those vessels from one place to the other, from one degree to the next.

Student: But in general, there is a connection, yes?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: It exists.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: We just can't scrutinize or clarify the connection between the cause and the effect.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: So today we'll start talking about our weekly topic which is the right the privilege of serving the society. That's why i'm asking so we have this as a foundation.

M. Laitman: I don't want to get into this. I'm not limiting you in anything. I don't want to get into this, but it's a very important means for attaining a spiritual goal.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (01:17:24) You just explained very beautifully the gap that exists between where we are and the depth we need to attain, and it seems to be quite a depth. And you also said that we're in a way stuck. Is it because of us or is it because the upper system determines that the conditions haven't been met yet? Because when you met Rabash and he helped you rise, the generation was worthy, you were worthy. The question is, it is a simple one - are we worthy of advancement? Do we have the power to break through that barrier that exists?

M. Laitman: As much as I'm worthy, you are also worthy, that's what I can say. That's it. More than that, the calculation doesn't touch it.

Student: Inside the Ten there is a matter of work. Can we do some work that allows us to hasten the times and clear the obstruction? I also feel stuck. I feel that I can't advance. The place of work, can we use it to break through all the the fear, all the barriers and advance?
