Kabbalist Dr. Michael Laitman and Oren Levi discuss the Iranian nuclear threat on Israel and Israel’s response. Should Israel be afraid of the Iranian nuclear threat? How should Israel respond? Also, in general, why can’t Israel ever live in peace? The following is a loose transcript of the conversation… Oren Levi: There is talk in Israel about a possible attack on Iran. The Iranians aren’t holding their tongues either. Recently, top Iranian military officials published a map of targets in Israel and stated, "We can hit you anywhere. One mistake and we finish you off." The question is: should we attack or not attack Iran's nuclear facilities? Since the establishment of Israel, the approach has been to stay at least one or two steps ahead in order to keep a safe distance. Kabbalist Dr. Michael Laitman: You are losing as a result of this attitude. Eventually, it's just talk. Iranians are no fools. It is an ancient civilization with very wise people all throughout history, and today too. First of all, it seems to me that they already have a nuclear bomb but there is no need to be afraid. I see that America and Russia hate each other even more than we and Iran do, and they live with all of their nuclear bombs. Oren Levi: What can Israel do today in order to put an end to the Iranian threat and to the threat inside the country? When will we have some peace and quiet, like any other normal country? Dr. Laitman: We will have peace and quiet when we have peace with the upper force. The upper force is the force of love and bestowal. We are not letting it enter people’s lives around the world. We, the Jews, are the ones not letting it happen, which is why from one day to the next, the entire world turns increasingly against us. Oren Levi: Generations over generations sang: “He who makes peace in the heavens will make peace upon us.” I am all for it but we need to act too, not just wait for Him. Dr. Laitman: He is not doing it because you're not doing it. Oren Levi: I'm reaching out for peace to everyone. They don't want peace. Dr. Laitman: They don't want to make peace with you in this way because you are not doing it according to the law of nature. The law of nature is that you love all people in the world. Love everyone—starting with the Jews and onto the rest of the nations of the world—you want to be in wholeness, perfection, and peace with everyone.
