Below is a loose transcript from the talk… Oren Levi: A record number of anti-Semitic incidents against Jews in the US, and especially on campuses, and no one says a word. Violence is growing, and some are simply afraid to walk around campus with Jewish symbols. But everyone keeps quiet, Why? Kabbalist Dr. Michael Laitman: Jews themselves understand that there's no point in yelling because it only adds kindle to the fire. They are simply afraid. Still, it is good because, from it, they learn that something is demanded of them. What do they want from you? Why aren't you meeting their demands? Is it possible that they're 100% wrong for thousands of years? Jews are the ones drawing antisemitism upon themselves because they're not fulfilling their role. The role of Jews is to show connection and love between everyone. If that happens, the antisemitism in the United States will calm down. There will be no room for hate. Oren Levi: Where will hate go then? Dr. Laitman: Because everyone will see that only by working against hate, can we come to a world that is good. The power of love is stronger than the power of hate. That is our destiny, to introduce love between people. If we do that, Jews around the world will be treated as the most precious thing in the world—as those who connect all nations—and without this the world is simply doomed. Oren Levi: So is this what we're supposed to be—the glue between all nations? Dr. Laitman: Exactly, and that's why we're hated because we're not taking on our role. Nowadays, hate is eating us alive. Anyone who's not like me, I already have some kind of problem with them. Therefore, you need to reach love and to show this love to everyone. Really, regardless of color, sex, race, or whatever what do you wish for Jews in the US? I wish for them to understand that this is their role and that if they behave correctly, then everyone will feel that they bring into the world the correct method of existence for the entire world.
