Throughout the centuries, Jews have lived in diasporas all around the world. When the state of Israel was established, many of them moved to Israel, but there is still a large number of Jewish people who live abroad, treating their host countries as their home. As they assimilate, they take on that country’s anti-Jewish attitudes. What is being lost is the unity once enjoyed among all Jewish people, especially among American Jews. As anti-Semitism continues to rise, it will definitely push Jews toward Israel. When Jews around the world reconnect with each other and maintain that connection among them, they will begin to love one another again. Only through this connection can Jews be protected.
