Reading Article “Shamati” 174: (00:13) Concealment – Twice

1. S. (06:54) So it's not clear because he says, as much as the demand is stronger and you make efforts to attain, so the concealment is even further away, so what is the end, I chase and even more moves away from me, so what is the story, why does it happen?

R. It’s a part of our life, the more you advance the more you can advance even further.

S. Because the more I make efforts to come closer, He does it to my direction?

R. Why, no, ‘My beloved is like a gazelle’.

S. What does it mean?

R. It means the gazelle runs faster and forward and only turns its head back, inviting after him.

S. So when is the end of this, when I make an effort and He comes close, when do you reach that stage?

R. He doesn't come closer to you, you have to come closer to Him.

S. What does that mean, I make efforts to come close but He runs away from me every time, He runs more and more.

R. You ask many times for Him to give you the possibility to attain Him, to approach Him, that you're approaching, you are changing, according to His nature and this is how you attain Him.

S. What does it mean that I come close to Him?

R. The gazelle, yes, you understand how a real gazelle runs away from a person, right, so when he runs, when it runs, it turns its head back in order to see if the person is chasing him or not.

S. How is it expressed, by why I annul more towards the friends, I become a zero towards them, is that coming closer to the Creator?

R. All those things, yes, they bring you closer to the Creator.

S. So you can only do it in the ten not independently?

R. Alone you can't even make a single step to the Creator.

S. I see, thank you.

R. Wait, so have you decided that you will do this?

S. In theory, it's easy when you annul toward the friend, no problem, in theory, when in the ten.  But the way the friend tells you something that makes you mad, and the second he says something like that I just jump, you jump right away. Where do I take the forces not to get insulted and not to even answer, just to annul, when does that come, that I can annul?

R. When you decide.

S. I've been deciding for years that I want it to happen but it does nothing; so how do I succeed in that, what does it take?

R. It takes only your preparation for what is happening, that it is all coming from the Creator and it's all coming in order to move you forward toward the purpose of creation.

S. Who helps me, the Creator or the friends, who can cause, help me annul toward the friend, that is my problem. It is hard for me to annul, who helps me in this, what should I do?

R. The friends should give you an example.

S. An example?

R. Yes, how to annul before the Creator.

S. But they themselves it’s hard for them?

R. No, you're not seeing them correctly, you in your ten are, well the last.

S. I don't understand what you just said.

R. You, in your ten, are the least successful of everyone.

S. The worse than everybody?

R. A ‘zero’ is a great thing.

S. So you're saying I have to try as much as possible to become even more than a zero towards them?

R. Are you trying to be zero?

S. I'm trying but the opposite happens, the ego grows and grows.

R. It's a sign you still haven't managed to control it.

S. Right, how do you reach it, that's what I'm trying to ask.

R. Add more and more labor in connecting with the friends so that through them you can get the strength to annul yourself before them and before the Creator, behind the friends there is the Creator.

S. So this is the method?

R. This is what we always learn.

2. S. (12:30) About strengthening the connection with the friends the other day, we have times that we agreed to pray or to gather but in between because my work demands concentration and thought, so I fall from the state of connection.

R. So you fall and you come back.

S. When I fall, that's missing out on spirituality?

R. No, no, no it all goes according to the calculation of the Creator.

S. If I remember again and I feel sorry for not so that sorrow helps me overcome?

R. That's also true, yes.

3. S. (13:42) What does it mean to sense the concealment?

R. To sense the concealment, it's like being in a dark room and you want to feel where you are, here's there's a wall, here's the table, here's something else, and something more. The things you begin to know become clearer and clearer; here we say this, to the extent that you're connected to the friends, the concealment fades away.

S. Can you repeat that last part: When you are connected to the friends it fades away, I don't understand.

R. Yes, it disappears because you begin to acquire the Impressions through the friends, if you get it without the friends, you're in concealment, if you get it through them then you gradually discover that the concealment has, the concealment is incomplete, not total, not absolute.

S. So how can I strengthen that sensing it even more?

R. Helping one another, try to constantly help the friends come closer to the Creator.

4. S. (15:43) Here in Kazakhstan we have many wild animals, the gazelles when they run away, they look behind them so you can only approach them, you can only come close to them because they always look back and then they run away. Here in the article, it says, “I will be a wall of fire around them and a wall of glory”. So that wall of concealment, do we strengthen it or does it already exist because the whole earth is full of His glory and also His concealment, so should I only be incorporated with work in the concealment?

R. Just to break through the concealment.

S. To break through, or to remain in that wall of fire, and he says “Within the wall of fire, there is His glory”, so should we break this wall; but actually the problem is to maintain the concealment so we have enough just for the purpose of existence of His greatness so we can stay within the wall of fire.

R. The most important thing is to connect to infinity with the friends, this obligates the Creator to perform all the corrections on you.

5. S. (17:47) What is “The wall of fire”?

R. “The wall of fire” is the future screen, that for now, it's not a screen of coming closer, but of moving away.

S. So the wall of fire is the future screen?

R. Yes.

S. What benefit can we draw from this?

R. We learn on the way from all these revelations that in the connection between us and the Creator there is a direct connection and an opposite connection and that's how we come closer.

S. If the light is felt as fire, not as love, it's the sign that the Creator is showing me or He wants to teach me something so I will change something?

R. He wants to bring you closer to that wall of fire.

S. So what’s my answer back to Him?

R. When you yearn for Him even though you have all those qualities, you will see what you have to do.

6. S. (19:31) In what situation of our relationship do we say that the earth is full of glory to Him, and in what situation do we say it is opposite.

R. Everything is according to our feelings.

S. If I don't feel the friends and I don't feel joy, it is concealment?

R. Yes.

7. S. (20:17) What does it mean, concealment inside the ten? Is it something personal or is it something between us?

R. Again?

S. What does it mean to feel concealment in the ten? Is it something personal or something common?

R. No, in the ten when we try to reveal in the connection between us, the Creator, but we're not able to reach it.

8. S. (21:12) There seems to be a new parameter here of ‘the demand’: why do we always run away from it, why do we always want help from the ten before I ask and demand from the Creator for correction for closeness?

R. Because without the connection in the ten, you're not in the right spiritual system, that is why, what is there to ask for here?

S. There's the topic of growing importance according to the demand, meaning even if I don't ask, it doesn't matter if it's for the ten or for myself, then I will not have the importance of the Creator. So why do I always run away, why do I always deny myself of seeing myself as a responsible?

R. It's on purpose, it's done like that on purpose, that is how the Creator’s playing with us!

S. Another thing, there is an interesting phase here, ‘The wall of fire’, is it the transition between the will to receive and the will to bestow that wants to keep the concealment of the Creator and His greatness between the will to receive and the intention to bestow that we acquire?

R. Yes.

S. Can I add something small?

R. Well, what can I do?

S. So a little confession: I had to not be at the convention despite all my prayers because of something that was planned six months ago. I was always praying for the friends and holding them in my heart, and yesterday in the noon lesson I heard a huge deficiency of the friends. And that reminded me of all the Congresses, that it’s the same phase, and I just want to tell you one thing, dear friends! I feel that I have brothers and sisters all over the world, when I ask Australia, Russia, and so many others, I feel that it is part of me and that is the point that is developing. I want to tell you that it's hard for me that you're going back, but on the other hand, I know you are here for each of us and that together we can ask the Creator to give us the revelation; and we needn’t despair, it will only bring us closer! Thank you so much for coming, you made a huge effort, and I appreciate it! Rav says that when I drive an hour and a half, it's a big effort, you give many times more than that! I love you and I miss you even though you haven’t left. If I could only hug all of you.

R. Okay, thank you!

9. S. (24:33) Is this article somehow reminiscent of what we went through at the Congress?

R. I don't know, it depends on how much we went through, and who went through and how much but, yes!
