Part 2:

Baal HaSulam. The Peace (Clarification of the Excerpt from the Mishnah: “Everything Is in Deposit, and a Net Is Spread Over All of Life”)

1. R. (00:14) Clarification of the Excerpt from the Mishnah: “Everything Is in Deposit, and a Net Is Spread Over All of Life. This is what the Sages wrote when they attain the purpose of life, the meaning of life to explain where we are in the systems of nature in which we exist.

Reading (00:33)

2. R. (01:48) We see here, seemingly with one sentence the sages concentrated all the influences of nature, everything that is happening with us to bring us to the final complete state.

Continues: (02:10) “That excerpt did not remain an abstruse allegory…”

3. R. (02:37) So let's see whether we can understand what it says in this Mishnah, this excerpt and let's understand the essence of life, the essence of nature, let's go.

Continues: (02:53) “The wheel of transformation of the form..”

4. S. (06:44) It is not clear, what does it mean that there are no new souls. What were the stages of the exodus of Egypt and the stages of final correction, is it the same amount of souls?

R. They're being replaced, well in terms of the number it is a relative thing but as we had the soul of Adam HaRishon, a single one, which was full of the light of Ein Sof and later on it shattered and split into many particular souls. All of these particular souls the pieces of this one so we have to gather them together even though we cannot gather them back it was, even though between them is already the ego that separating between us that is why we are broken However above the ego we need to create such a connection above among all the souls as if they are the way the soul of Adam HaRishon called one man with one heart. When we try to do that and of course the Creator on his side does the work, we only want him to obligate him, to ask him, to demand and to pray to him that he should do, the work is his, that is why it is called the work of the Lord. The request, the deficiency must be on our side and then it will happen.

S. Each time we connect above our ego, we build some similarity to Adam HaRishon.

R. All in all, we correct the general structure and the general structure we corrected in \ourselves and also all around us those souls.

5. S. (09:21) Rising above the ego turns out to be not on the wheel but in the center of the wheel, is that how it is felt?

R. We rise above the ego, we tie ourselves together in a new strong knot and we push the wheel so that it will move towards the purpose of life, the purpose of creation.

6. S. (10:06) It says here in the beginning of the excerpt that everything is given in deposit, it says it is like a shop, a store where you come and take a loan and boring things, what does that mean?

R. You can come, and demand correction and you want it because you discover a deficiency, a lack for connection, this is the only correction. There is no more but only connection among all the desires, all the souls of people, this is what we need, all in all, our own lack. This is what we need to have, what needs to be revealed and then according to this lack the Creator will carry out the action, this is called the Creator will finish it for me.

S. So why is it called borrowing, what is the reward that we are going to give to the Creator for giving us the strength to advance together?

R. We will see that, let's read more.

7. S. (11:37) He calls our world a world of Illusion, that it does not exist and when we raise MAN we are just changing our desires or what?

R. When we raise MAN we ask that the Creator will give us correct desires, good desires towards connection between us, then we will discover the true reality instead of our imaginary reality because it appears to us in a broken vessel.

8. S. (12:28) Baal HaSulam touches here on the one the most interesting and misunderstood things, the topic of reincarnation, he only touches upon it here, but it says here there is a connection between the physical body and the soul. I do not ever remember learning anything like this and if there's any proof and makes the person understand what we're doing here in reality.

R. It depends on what evidence or what proof, what do you mean?

S. I do not know, he says proof.

R. We will learn about it.

S. So how to relate to it?

R. We will learn.

9. S. (13:26) Where does the memory that the thousands of times the soul….?

R. It's not simple, memory that remains in the same state that the Creator created, it exists, and it exists in an eternal and complete form, however with respect to us it is built according to how much we need to see it in order to advance and grow in it. But certainly nothing disappears from creation.

S. Meaning that a person himself he's always receiving the required memory for him?

R. Each one receives what he needs to work with, no one will later have any complaints when everything will be revealed, when the truth is revealed, no one will have any complaints that he was not given what he needs. Rather the opposite, each and every moment, each and every one would be receiving exactly what he needed for the correction of the soul.

S. What about the saying that the memories are deleted over generations?

R. No, no, no, there is no such thing you should learn from what it says here.

10. S. (15:35) It says here that the same souls were in the generation of the flood and generation of the division and the generation of the plague and in Egypt, what does it mean the roles of the generations?

R. All kinds of deficiencies are revealed in all kinds of forms, so the created beings will become incorporated in them, to absorb them, and will advance towards the end of correction that without the difference really should have these deficiencies they will not be able to feel even their corrections and the end of correction.

S. So it says that there are no new souls in the world from the beginning of creation?

R. Yes it is written there no new souls, why do you need them, so there you have corrupted souls that we need to correct in each and every one of us also.

S. So there's a collection of souls and that is it?

R. What are you missing, I don't understand, so we're told that yes, so calm down. There is a certain amount of souls that exists in all of the created beings and these created beings reincarnate in this is how the souls become corrected and there are no new souls. Because there was Adam HaRishon and he shattered, and its pieces are being revealed so that we can correct them from in order to receive following the shattering to in order to bestow at the end of their correction.

11. S. (17:26) What should a person do so that he does not reincarnate to this world?

R. In order to not reincarnate he needs to correct his soul.

S. But he writes that they are always coming back so does that mean that no one corrected themselves?

R. They do not return seemingly anew, they return to be corrected until the end of correction.

12. S. (17:56) Can you give a definition for Incarnation, what does it mean?

R. An opportunity.

13. S. (18:12) Baal HaSulam concluded, the necessity of working for the Creator and then he takes us to another part with the net which spreads over. I lost the connection of the article we were in some work before, so what are we trying to do now?

R. We are learning how this vessel called the general soul of Adam HaRishon, how it reaches from the broken state to the state where it resembles the Creator so that he could be called Adam, similar, this is what we are studying.

Reader Continues: (19:18) “And now we come to clarify the excerpt all is in the...”

14. R. (21:09) Seemingly the Creator himself gives himself out of the collateral. I'm giving you myself so that you will be certain that you will reach the end of corrections and you will receive everything, what does that mean.

Continues: (21:29) “And should you wonder what collateral he was given...”

15. S. (25:21) Is there a connection between the souls that reincarnate in the six hundred thousand that demonstrate Arvut and reach the final correction?

R. Yes, it is one and the same.

S. So everything that we go through, all the harsh states like it says here, are supposed to advance us and bring us to the final correction?

R. Yes, that is the only reason that they awaken and exist.

16. S. (26:09) The Creator did something kind of weird.

R. Only a little weird, it's all weird and odd.

S. Yes, he both created the human and surrounds him by bringing him to correction and also seemingly makes a store for him and takes a payment for this correction.

R. So where is the free choice, the free action, the desire, where does the person, that he is now standing opposite the seller, the shopkeeper, now needs to check for where he will have to have the money to pay, how does he obtain all of these things, how does he discover that he is in the shop, how do you pay? All of these things, everything that is in this we have to discover it, then we will be able to pay for our soul, when we acquire a soul that means we become like the Creator.

S. There's also the hand that keeps the account even though I do not know that there's a store and an account.

R. So what is in it for me if I do not know that it exists and if I reach this degree where the store is open and the hand writes and so on. I am in the store opposite the seller then it exists but if I do not attain it then it does not exist so for me it is wide open, and I can do whatever I want.

S. Still he writes afterwards that there's payment, there's the collectors, so it's not that the store is open that everyone can.

R. Yes it's true, it's true but that is not what the person knows even though I'm certainly under providence and I'm tied with one thousand different friends to the upper force, but it is not according to my view, not according to my awareness and so it does not appear to me that I'm paying, receiving, and giving and I have no connection to the seller. To bring us to the clear connection with the store owner so that we can receive from him, and we can receive what is truly good for us to receive, otherwise he would not sell it. If we would know now what is good and bad for us then we would discover him and we would demand of him we want this and that and that. Please weigh one hundred grams of this and a liter of that but no, I do not know. For this I have to be connected with the system that I want to give to then I will discover what I lack in order to give and then I will demand from the seller give me this and that, in order to bestow and then he will give it to me. By this might become connected with the system and I bring them what I bought in the store, and everyone enjoys my work. The Creator, the seller is happy because I let him earn that I bought from him and the whole Humanity are happy because I brought them the means to advance and enter the same store and receive from the seller./

S. So a person doesn't know he's in the store, he doesn’t know there is a store, so how does he begin to….?

R. That is why you have the society, the ten, the teacher and from this, one starts and before that he doesn't need the society, the ten or anything. He grows like an animal until he discovers his willingness to start to enter such engagements of buying and selling, when he already starts asking what do we need to live for, what do we get it out of life, what is worthwhile for me to buy, to acquire in this world, who do I reach, etcetera. Bit by bit he advances to a ten, he reaches the system that teaches us how should we have the right connection between us and later on we already reach a state where we have to reach the store. Why is that, because we are lacking forces of bestowal, means for bestowal. This is what we want to buy in the store and then we come and turn to the seller and we tell him give me this and that and that because by these things that I will buy, I will connect with the others, by that I am now buying I can give to the others, by that I will be able to understand and feel better and help others to also organize and so on. All the means for the connections of the souls into one soul, this is how we feel that we need it. We have nowhere to run to, the general plan of creation will bring us to the right function.

17. S. (33:13) How does the buyer truly pay for the set price in order to have 100% confidence that it will be paid back?

R. When a person reaches a stage where he is opposite to the shopkeeper, he has no doubts, he only has a problem with how much he can purchase by and how much he can pay for it, and this is already clarified by the screen.

18. S. (34:04) So I did not get it, so according to the article he gives it as a debt, or does he actually sell?

R. This is really a question that depends on how we take it. The Creator is as if gives us the general soul, he gives it to us as a gift but each time we receive strength from him we have to pay for it with labor.

S. What does it mean that we get everything and then we have to pay for everything?

R. You have to reach the Creator with a clear form of why you need strength for, otherwise why did you come to me, what do you want to receive, what for,  where do you have a lot to give that you cannot fulfill. We come to the store to buy groceries, the spiritual store we come to the Creator to receive the power to bestow to everyone, to bestow, so I come to him and with what do I buy what am I lacking, with my effort, that I want to connect with others, to bestow to others but I just can't and then I get strength from the store to realize it but the deficiencies, the desires I have to bring that. That is basically, that is the state in which I come to the store, that I cannot realize what I'm lacking and what I'm lacking is connecting with others, helping them.

S. So in this situation I need to do work in gathering the desires of the friends?

R. Yes, we learned it from the articles.

S. These forces to whom do I have passed them on, back to them?

R. You collect it within, and these forces are just like your hunger, you need that, you lack the strength to give to others, to connect to others, to raise them all the way to the Creator.

19. S. (37:33) All this that you were talking about the gifts that we get, what we are buying from the store, what we are purchasing, our needs for bestow, is this just the same as different degrees of reforming light?

R. Yes, but I do not want these types of questions, I want the questions to follow the text.

20. S. (38:08) Can I pay the Creator back from my friend and how can I help my friend harvest the fruit in the bad states?

R. Yes, that you take the friend together with you, you are all connected as one man with one heart, in mutual guarantee between you in a single group and together you all turn to the Creator. This is called prayer of the public, of the many and then the Creator gives you, the general collective, in general he never gives to a single individual, the minimum of the many is two. It cannot be less than two, let's say you don't have ten, but you have at least two, so if the two can be as one then they can turn to the Creator, the strongest plea to the Creator is if the ten becomes as one. This is something that the Creator certainly answers for sure, they obligate him immediately 100%.

21. S. (39:36) You just said that we can take the friends together with you, what does it mean to take the friends together with you?

R. It means taking the deficiency of the friend and praying for the deficiency of the friend, I'm not taking my own deficiency. The correct deficiency is that I pray and ask for the others, this is called that my deficiency is the deficiency to bestow.

22. S. (40:23) Our efforts to achieve the right deficiency, this is the payment that we used to the Creator?

R. Yes.

23. S. (40:46) It is written that the collectors collect whether one knows it or not, so how can we work through, make it so that I know it, I'm aware of it, so that we do not waste precious time?

R. That all depends on how much a person pays attention to his connection with the friends then he discovers this measure from his own mind.

S. So knowingly means that we advanced in from Achishena and I will hasten it?

R. It means it comes from the Arvut, the mutual guarantee.

24. S. (41:35) When you reach the shopkeeper and you try to choose from all the merchandise that he has, we end up suffering so what good comes out of this suffering?

R. We want to acquire forces of bestowal, we lack nothing else, so if we cannot yet buy these forces of bestowal then we need to understand that we lack that. This is called a lack for a lack, we do not have a lack for bestowal, so this is what we want to have, we want to have a deficiency, a lack of bestowing to the others, that lack too I want to buy from the shopkeeper, from the store.

25. S. (42:41) When we take from the store without any calculation everything is written and the debt grows, I have a feeling that the debt grows, is this a good feeling that the debt is growing?

R. Everything is good, just keep going and don't stop.

26. S. (43:03) What surprises me in the whole story it is a paradox, on the one hand he says that you can buy from the store and on the other hand you cannot pay back that without asking of him to pay it back, so what is going on?

R. My request to buy if it is correct, it is already the payment, because what am I asking for, I'm asking to have a deficiency of force of bestowal, of connection that is already the payment.

S. How do I pay it back if I cannot pay it back?

R. But receiving the force of bestowing and connecting, by that you will repay.

S. This force I get from the society, from the ten, is this the solution?

R. Yes.

27. S. (43:57) From the beginning of the lesson I'm falling asleep, I fell into a slumber and I'm realizing that I'm not giving the strength and inspiration to the friends and I feel that there is a lot of strength in the friends meaning that you want to help the friends but that also puts you even more to sleep, so how do I build the right prayer to the Creator in that state?

R. Stand up a few times, do a few things, just move around a little bit, and don't agree with the situation and then turn to the Creator if it does not help.

28. S. (44:46) I heard you say to buy the deficiency so that there will be no lack so that I will not have a lack to bestow it sounds like a request for myself?

R. No, it's not that I'm asking for myself because I want to have a deficiency to bestow to everyone, to help and raise upwards all the peoples of the world. So I'm asking to have a force of giving but this force of bestowal is not from my ego.

29. S. (45:46) The book is open in the hand writes, what does hand write, our actions, what will we have to pay for?

R. The hand writes everything, all sorts of actions, thoughts, desires.

30. S. (46:09) It seems that the hand writes even before we reach the wisdom of Kabbalah?

R. Yes, that is true.

31. S. (46:15) Is the will to receive the net?

R. Yes.

S. If so does that mean the shop is the Torah, the system that develops us to correction?

32. S. (46:39) Does the store open get us but we do not pay?

R. We are paying but we just don't know how much were you paying.

33. S. (46:44) Is it correct to understand the payment is the way we pay to the Creator?

R. Yes.

34. S. (46:58) Buying, what is buying?

R. Buying means I receive for something that I pay. I commit to use what I'm receiving from the shopkeeper only for the sake of bestowal.

35. S. (47:20) Paying for my friends, does this mean to always justify them?

R. That we will find out later to justify or not, but to pay for the friend is what we need, no one can pay for himself ultimately, we are in mutual guarantee.

36. S. (47:50)  What does it mean each time the bodies become replaced from generation to generation in the spiritual work?

R. That all in all from the beginning of creation to the end of creation it's all this system of Adam HaRishon which is divided into many individual souls, and they are all doing the work and that work accumulates, one penny joins another one until there's a great sum total, until the final correction.

37. S. (48:34) It says there's great evidence for this and the wonderful wisdom known as the secret of the incarnation of the souls. What kind of evidence or proof is Baal HaSulam talking about?

R. We can discover the reincarnation of the souls and discover how each and every action we make, advances each and every soul.

38. S. (48:57) What is the present existing connection between the general soul?

R. The connection is that we're all in one system of Adam HaRishon and one bestows upon everyone and the more we advance we feel how independent we are on one another.

39. S. (49:20) Is the beastly spirit supposed to unite with the soul of Adam HaRishon?

R. All the souls unite in such a way that nothing was created for no reason, it's all included in the system of Adam HaRishon.

 40. S. (49:33) It's written we are souls and it's also written that there is only one, so how does this work out?

R. Since one soul divided into many individual private souls, and through the nearing between us these souls return to becoming one soul again.

41. S. (50:08) Is a person aware of his own correction?

R. From a certain degree, maybe not now, but from a certain degree onwards he can know what he's doing and where he is.

42. S. (50:30) Can we turn this to be the last incarnation of our soul?

R. Yes, we are already in the last generation, and we can come to a state where this Incarnation is the final one.

43. S. (50:51) It's written what we have loaned we must return, if the ten was also given to us as a loan, how can we enlarge the return of the debt to give contentment to the Creator?

R. Through the connection between us, it's simple.

44. S. (51:13) What is the connection to the rest of the souls?

R. The complete correction of the connection between the souls is the return to the state of Adam HaRishon.

45. S. (51:32) Baal HaSulam writes the notepad is open, the hand is writing before a person is acting, is this regarding before he acts or after a person acts, where does a person really have a choice on this action or what is he paying for it?

R. It's a very complex answer and I can't answer at the moment, but we need to nevertheless accept it in such a way that there is a payment for everything, and nothing remains in the air.

46. S. (52:12) What is the correct manner to borrow from the store in order to return?

R. To come to the shopkeeper, meaning the Creator, in such a manner that for sure he believes us and gives us the forces to carry out acts of bestowing.

47. S. (52:36) For us as Kabbalah students there's a connection of a missing connection, there's a feeling of a storekeeper but it's never really clear when we are paying and when we are entering debt?

R. The connection between us and between us and the Creator always disappears and is strengthened and disappears so that we will constantly care for it until it will be a permanent connection.

48. S. (53:09) We learned that everything actually brings us closer to the goal, even though it may appear bad. What does Baal HaSulam mean when he writes that he is corrupting the final goal?

R. That he doesn't intend for it yet, exactly.

49. S. (53:33) I want to acquire for my friends in the ten health, income, kids, husband's, what do I have to pay for this for?

R. We need to yearn for connection between us with the hope that the intensification of the connection between us will influence all that we lack. Including all the things that have to do with our families. Just the increasing and intensifying of connection between us.

50. S. (54:18) Is the Creator giving us the force of bestowal in the extent for our connection and prayer?

R. Yes.

51. S. (54:34) What is the meaning of that he lowers the heavens to the Earth?

R. That the spiritual matter becomes in me not important, not any more important than corporeality.

52. S. (55:04) What does it mean to see the Creator in the lowly places, is it that I see the Creator as lowly, or does it mean that even in the lowly places I'm capable of seeing him?

R. No, it's that the Creator is lowly in my eyes, he has no value in my eyes.

53. S. (55:24) How did you differentiate between an ascent and descent, you can't really rely on your sensation alone?

R. I can't answer that at the moment.

54. S. (55:46) …..

R. The answer, the repentance, has to include all, everything we have in order for the Creator to correct us, that's it.
