RABASH, Article No. 12 (1988), "What Are Torah and Work in the Way of the Creator?"

It is beneficial to elicit the light from the Torah—if he aims while engaging in the Torah, to learn in order to receive the reward of the Torah, called “light.” At that time, the learning of Torah is good for him. But when he is distracted from the purpose of studying Torah, the Torah does not help complete the work of making the vessels of bestowal and not using the vessels of reception for one’s own sake. Then by that you start to see how your world, that you see, that you received that you understand, how it changes.

S. So the result of the lesson is whether I can easily connect with the friends and be on the second level?

R. Yes.

22. S. (6:16) What does it mean that what he writes here if you draw us the light of Torah for his own benefit then he loses the force of bestowal, the force of bestowal, that should have subdued the evil inclination?

23. S. R. Why do you think the fact that you're falling is not a gift, is not a reward? You are being added, a greater degree of the will to receive and you are falling and you have no strength, you're not thinking about it as a reward, as a gift. Why? You are being given now a greater force in the will to receive so that you will have to acquire more force of Binah, bestowal. this is how you advance, you go up with your left foot right foot, right foot, left foot, right foot and this is how you rise throughout the degrees, you can't go up if you don't have the will to receive increased for you. This why each time, the will to receive needs to be bigger and everyday you need to acquire a greater will to bestow. This is how through both of them you ascend, you cannot have one without the other. Hence a person who really wants to rise on the spiritual degree, on the ladder, sees the increasing of his will to receive also as a good attitude and a gift from the Creator.

24. S. (10:37) How do we increase the force of the study of Torah?

R. That is by the connection in the group between friends as you need to awaken one another to the extent in which you are in excitement, in hope, entertainment, if everyday you have something that is clear, that you are learning wisdom, science, a method. You are learning the actions of the Creator, from that you are starting to get to know the Creator himself soon, this is called, from your actions we will know you. Where from the deeds of the Creator you come closer to attaining him, we have gotten to know you meaning how could it be that from the actions that I would get to know him, that this is how it works. Also in us in our world if I am in the framework of this world from the actions of a person slowly I get to know who that person is. It is the same in the spiritual world where I am in spiritual actions meaning the actions of the Creator upon me I get to know him. That is considered the revelation of the Creator to the creature, that is what we will come to.

25. S. (12:30) How to correctly establish the work of Torah, to not deflect our focus and attention?

R. You must bind all of the friends together in the society and be together with them and what you will learn together will be called Torah. First of all know what Torah is, alone you cannot learn Torah, Torah is called the reforming light which you receive only under the condition that you are connected with your friends.

26. S. (13:18) It turns out without the study of the morning lesson I have no work during the day?

R. You have no chance to advance.

S. The morning lesson gives us strength throughout the day, sometimes I go to sleep after the morning lesson to start my day, is this alright?

R. Also with Rabash we had such things, we went to sleep after the lesson because not everyone goes to work early.

22. S. (14:11) Do I understand that the ten is the battery that is charged during the lesson?

R. Yes.

S. What is the precise inner work during those three hours in which I charge this battery called the ten so that later on throughout the entire day this force will work and hold me?

R. That comes from my attitude towards the friend, why I'm constantly concerned with being connected to them as then according to the power of the connection between us I expect to receive the upper light within the connection between us then the upper light truly enters the like to a battery and leaves there it's charge. That is my work, to not work alone because I don't attain a lot, I do because I am connected to this society but I'm not in a real way as if I think throughout the study that we are constantly together and it connection between us and in the connection between us to the center of our ten there I receive all of the intensity of the study and not the wisdom, but rather the force of the study that comes from the Creator. That hides behind all of these words, that is what we receive, then I truly come out after the lesson with this force and can already start during the rest of the hours of the day to connect myself as I am already connected to the group and the upper force, from the time of the lesson I can also implement this throughout the day, towards the world. This is how it works out for me to wake up in the morning, to enter the group in the proper preparation, to receive into the group the upper force. To go out to the broad world to connect the broad world to us, to the group and just by this to truly finish the day in the right way. It doesn't matter exactly what I study or how much or how I understand. What I study, it all depends by the intention, how I received from the Creator the forces into the ten and how I then connect the whole world to the ten. This is how we Implement Israel, the light and the Creator are one. I, the group and the world, everyone connected to the Creator, try to arrange these things correctly and you will see how it will advance you, the time and state that we are in is very beneficial, it is very qualified for this.

23. S. (18:14) What is the inner work I do during the study and what does it mean I'm connected with the friends in the ten?

R. During this study, I don't think about the wisdom, whether how much I do or don't understand but how much I want to receive the force of bestowal in the connection between us. As all together we're gathering not in order to know but in order to connect each time increasingly more and to receive inside our battery, inside our group the force of the Creator. That will fill us and give us the opportunity, by this to also go out and connect to the rest of the tens and to the whole world. This is how we connect the Creator us, to the ten and then to the whole world and we by this do our role, our purpose of creation.

S. This means that I pray, I ask of the Creator to be connected in bestowal throughout the study and in the ten to all of Bnei Baruch?

R. Yes.

24. S. (19:47) During the day, how do we connect the world to the ten?

R. I connect the ten when I am connected to it and to the world and this is how each of us who is in a ten connect himself from his ten to the world, then it turns out that we are ten friends, we are connecting each of us, his world to our ten and by that our ten receives its AHP, its true AHP. Then the next day we have what to come with to the morning lesson to receive from the Creator another portion of the upper light that will strengthen our ten together with that AHP that we received, the same impression we received from the world, then our ten is already in a higher degree and receives a form of charging and once again after the lesson we can go out to the world and again to connect the world to us as much as possible. The world does not need to know about this but rather we have our attitude towards the world and by that we are doing it, each time we do these entries and exits into the group and into the world, into the ten and into the world and the Creator is connecting to us in the morning lesson and this is how we are Israel, the light and the Creator are one.

25. S. (21:53) If a friend is sitting in the lesson like planned with no power how can he position himself to the light?

R. It might be that he is between you like a sick person, let's say he is between you or you need to take him into account and you need for the whole ten to do the work and he is amongst you, today he is not capable, tomorrow it won't be able to do it, the next day another, the Creator arranges this from above on purpose with a certain need to make changes in the whole vessel this way where each one belongs to all kinds of other parts of Adam HaRishon which are outside of the ten, to the upper root, each one belongs to a certain one. This is why each of us other than the work that he does in the connection between us in the ten, is also connected into a certain specific way with the upper and a specific way toward AHP,  below our forces, this is why each of us has a specific plan of his and also the general plan that we all have. So we need both this and that to see as correct and to do it.

26. S. (23:35) How do we feel that we're drawing the upper force?

R. According to your demand, if your demand will be such that you are together and you want the upper force to connect you more, to give you the ability to do the act of bestowal, both mutual and also outwards then you will start to feel how the upper force is operating in you, not immediately but after several such actions you will begin to feel it.

(24:29) In order to awaken this force we need to be more sensitive to the friends and we notice in our ten in the meetings the ego is pulling the scrutiny to the intellectual direction we would like each other to become more sensitive, practically besides praying silently what other exercises can we touch the emotion instead of the intellect?

R. There are none, but the question is a good question and it is a sign you are advancing and starting to be more sensitive and spiritual. if you have a demand for that it is already good it is already the Creator that is carrying for you. Succeed.

28. S. (25:28) Can we call this action what we do during the lesson receiving in order to bestow or is it something else?

R. There's no in order to bestow, you’re receiving to bestow after the lesson, so if after the lesson you go out and in the connection in the group, you also want to bestow and you go to bestow this to the others as well, to humanity, we are in a very special and historic period of time where the whole world is waiting for corrections.  So if you are doing this towards the world in dissemination, your actions also in the morning lesson are correct. Whoever doesn't come to the morning lesson in order to receive the force of bestowal in order to bring it later to correction to the world does not receive. He is like a blocked and concealed vessel with no way out because this is what the Creator wants for all the people in the world, all the Babylonians that did not enter the connection with the Creator, that they will all enter. 29. S. (27:19) How many deficiencies do we need to string together so the Creator can be revealed?

R. You connect them together, you discuss it and in a mutual prayer you ask the Creator to fulfill these deficiencies and to fulfill them with the force of bestow also that you with this force of bestowal will be able to go out and spread this force of bestowal to the entire world.  If you are asking for the force of bestowal for yourself this isn't the force of bestow it is a Klipa, if you ask for the force of bestowal to go outside the framework of the ten then you are truly asking for the force of bestowal.

S. If we're sitting with two three or four friends is that also enough?

R. Two are also enough and most important is to ask for the force of bestowal to continue bestowal to publicize the actions of the Creator to the entire world.

31. (30:26) Question. 63  How and in who are there many forms and changes in the Olamot?  Answer. All the changes and the multiplications are carried out only by the impact of the lights on the vessels that receive it, however the upper light in and of itself remains at complete rest. Meaning unchanged and without any innovations.

R. All of the many forms and changes that we have are only in the vessels, the will to receive that is inspired more and more by the upper light goes through these changes but in the light there are no changes it is entirely to bestow and it has no extent, no changes it is all infinite and only according to the vessel that it is capable and that it perceives it to change by it.

32. (32:14) Question 64. How are innovation and movement depicted in Ohr? Answer. There is no movement, meaning innovation in the upper light, instead the part that the emanated being receives from the upper light is what becomes innovated, multiplied, according to the innovation of the forms and the vessels where each receives according to the degree of its own desire. This changes from one another and hangs down from one another immeasurably.

R. It all depends on the vessels all of the changes are in the vessels and when we perceive the upper light through the vessels, through the appearance in the vessels, then it seems to us that there are changes in the light but in the light there are no changes but only in the vessels alone.

33. (33:40) Question 65. How are all of the opposites and the multitude of forms that extend from him to the worlds contained in his simple unity? No answer.

34. (34:01) Question 66. By whom and what is the Kav extended from Ein Sof? Answer. The screen is the detaining force that was placed on the 2nd on the 4th discernment after the restriction to prevent her from receiving inside, that is what caused the emergence of the line from Ein Sof. R. In Ein Sof the line everything is made, the line is a very thin line but we need to understand what it means it is not geometrical but that there is an intention from the Creator towards the created beings that specifically with the force of bestowal he created them. R. More than the line we cannot feel, the most we can feel, is from the line, from the attitude of the Creator to us is if we can clothe this attitude in the connection from us to the Creator in the returning light. The line is considered from the line of the Creator there is a limitation only in order to bestow to a certain extent and from our side only towards this bestowal do we act and have no other feeling towards the Creator, to where they created beings and to the extent that he awakens us we are awakened

R. S. How did it cause the imitation of a line from Ein Sof?

R. The emanation of a line of EinSof is to the extent that the created being can receive from the Creator do you understand this?

R. 41. S. () He writes that the upper light was received in three degrees, three Bechinot have the desire which means we can receive only in the upper nine, the vessels of the friends?

R. We can receive the upper light in the form of bestowal that we stabilized, who stabilizes this form of bestowal, Bechinah Dalet, where does it stabilize the quality of bestowal? 42. S. (43:52) The restriction removed the light from all the disturbance or only from the fourth?

R. From all the discernments, there is no slight portion in spirituality.

S. So what happened about the screen in Bechinah Dalet, it suddenly brought the light back to the first 3 just turned it?

R. Because the Bechinah Dalet other than doing a restriction it also wants to resemble the form of bestowal as in the upper nine attributes, you can't read you can't reveal something outside of the upper 9, it discovers the influence of the Creator during the first three phases and then it does the Restriction and after the Restriction it does the suitability to the same discernment, the three first discernments, the returning light.

S. So fourth discernment somehow influences the first three, but the connection is not felt?

R. On fourth discernment, we have a restriction, but on the previous three discernment we have is where they clothes them, meaning the influence of the Creator upon them on the previous 3 discernment and on the influence to the Creator is as direct and returning light and they act in the Toch of the Partzuf to bring light to the created being.

S. How can they say the screen is in the Bechinah Dalet if it influences all the other discernment?

R. The Masach works on the fourth phase of the entire will to receive, it raises the will to receive as a form of bestow to the previous three discernment, the fourth discernment remains empty, but it works above itself in the first nine. That is considered that the created being and the will to receive connect to the Creator.

S. So the fourth discernment is the one that activates all of the preceding discernments?

R. Malchut does it all in Partzuf, in the upper nine, the three previous phases. This is where the revelation of the Creator to the created being takes place.

43. S. () I hear the reforming light only comes with the ten, so how do I see the friends is Mount Sinai?

R. I need to see the ten as it is my vessel, my soul that if I am connected to them then I work towards them like a Malchut to the upper nine and then I need to push them towards connection, to bring them closer to the Creator and by that I take them forward and advance them and I advance myself to the extent I influence and bestow and invest upon them I advance myself towards the Creator. That is our work in the ten. Don't get too confused with this, got my do it and you will see from experience what to do with this onwards.

44. S. (48:09) Regarding the question you asked us we are sharpening our intentions ahead of the TES in the lesson and we love it with the intention of acquiring the remedy, it is a very short and precious part of the lesson.

R. You're right I agree.

45. S. (48:43) Just as from this line the world and the Partzufim were created where you see that the line creates circles?

R. I don't know what circles you see from the line but accordingly we act from the line in the ten and we come out to the broad audience, to humanity and want to connect them also to us by that we act in the Igulim, circles, that are not yet connected under the restriction and the screen, they don't bring themselves in that same direction that the Creator treats them with and then to the Creator, we are providing this service that is our work.

46. (49:51) Question 67.  Has anything changed in Ein Sof after the Restriction as well? Answer. Although the Bechinah Dalet and Ein Sof restricted herself still there is no issue with putting on a form or taking one off in the absence of the first, as it is in corporeality.  Instead there is an issue of a new form that is added to the first, without the first form changing at all. As there is no absence in anything spiritual, the entire innovation of the departure of the light and the detaining force that was performed in the fourth discernment to avoid receiving light inside of her is regarded as a new and distinguished world. It is added to the light of Ein Sof which remained as it was without any change. You should be assured from that regarding every innovation of form in spirituality. Reads again

47. S. (53:20) The greatest Hidush, innovation, happens when we connect to the AHP?

R. If you connect as one to the AHP, in order to connect to the AHP, you need to all be together and then you influence the externals, the externals can also be from our group it doesn't matter how but more desires that are outside of the ten that you received and you can join these desires together with you as an additional desire then it is considered that you connect to the AHP,  then by that you are rewarded of receiving more of the light of the creator that shines upon you. You will feel this as something additional because what will then shine upon you isn't from your nature, it is from something else, something additional. that is why it will be truly felt. When I say this it is like there was a baby and now he's suddenly understands what it means to be grown up, such a feeling so to connect the AHP  to the group that is a great change especially in our time that we are in the general correction in the last generation it is possible and you can bring such states to realization. You will feel it, I promise that you will feel how you are doing it to the extent that you connect the world to yourself even to a slight extent, even without the agreement or understanding because it is a mass.  To the extent you bestow upon them even by just disseminating to them that they are included to an extent of the materials that you are sharing then already even without any direct relation to them that you bestow and they bring it back to you, even without such an extent.  Just spreading the material for the purpose of creation that already brings you their desires and their thoughts good or bad it doesn't matter.  It all is processed all of these desires they transition and go through processing within you giving you a greater force of reception and then accordingly in raising MAN in all of these there are many actions that as a result of these actions you receive an additional light, recognition, understanding. Because when you take care of someone, audiences that are outside of you then you begin to understand the Creator because with respect to them you activate yourselves just like the Creator activates himself towards you. Like when we have kids, that we understand how it means to be parents, how our parents did to us what they gave us when we were babies.

48. S. (57:50) The word world?

R. All of humanity we're not talking about still vegetative and animal because they don't need correction, they go up and down together with us.

49. S. (58:14) The verse speaks of a model for creating change which is not through absence but through an addition?

R. The addition is always in the form of AHP two connect to the GE which also needs to grow.

50. S. (58:46) With your permission, in that process that will be revealed from the line that was created from Malchut that begins to ascend is that a process of implementing the desires of Malchut of Ein Sof in the created being as he advances?

R. You could say so.

R. It is always new even though it seems that again we fall into the same egoistic desire but there is nothing no such thing, and spirituality everything is new, it is always a new desire that is constantly revealed even though we don't identify anything new there, but it is in fact new. That is one thing, the other is to try to be in such connections in the ten that every time the world to receive that is revealed a new it will seem to us as knew because we are already in a new form of connection with the ten.
