Attack - Selected Excerpts from the Sources, #8

1. Rav’s Introduction: Attack, what exactly and with which forces are we attacking? The attack is against the forces of separation which is our nature after the general shattering of the vessel of reality and with the help of what we do this only by us all, as much as possible connecting on the level and state that we are in and turning to the Creator. There are several ways for this attack to the fact that we need to attack the separation between us and to draw ourselves with all of our forces to connection, to unity which is against our nature. The second means for attaining this goal which is that we need to turn to the force of the Creator together so once again as much as possible to raise our request to the Creator so He will help us and actually do, make of us one force in which we will be able to see how we are capable. The Creator does this as He moves us through all of the forces of separation and leads us to one force, the force of unification. This attack is like the Exodus from Egypt as we ask for the connection but we try on our own to come to this, discover that we are not capable of doing so turning to Him, demanding of Him, until we receive from Him the force of connection and by that move from the world of separation, hatred and rejection to the world of unity. This is the transition, the crossing of the Machsom, barrier of the two worlds. We are going to read the continuation of the excerpts today and will conclude this topic today of attack, we will continue on words with two more days before the convention so let us prepare ourselves for it.

2. R. WSQ: What exactly do we need to prepare for the attack? We're told that the entrance to spirituality comes from this attack and of course this is not a physical attack, not even a mental or spiritual connection but it is an attack for connection. Where we must battle against the forces that separate us, the moment that we come to some form of connection between us, to feel the connection between us inside the connection like in a vessel then we can start to attain already, the upper force, the force of unity. This is the Creator. Here is the question how do we come to a connection between us with an attack upon the forces of separation as we need to attack those forces of separation and to seek the forces of attraction, unification which is the Creator who will add and connect between us and this is how we will come to that point of connection between us, the true connection, the first one which is already beyond the Machsom, the barrier. Please, how do we do this action?

3. S. What weight does joy have in the attack?

R. In spirituality we’re talking about internality, adhesion to Him. There are several things here. First of all, according to our egoistic desire, we are distancing from all of the troubles that the ego gives us as we are for the time being in our egoistic desire on one hand. On the other hand we are advancing towards a desire that is being talked about all the time which is special, a desire to bestow to rise above this world above all of the problems. The Creator on purpose connected our will to receive to our will to bestow, a good intention and the will to receive kind of a feeling that he helps us to rise from one quality to the second quality, from reception to bestowal. Actually, He didn't have to do that but rather if we choose the desire to bestow it's not necessarily because of that that we will feel good, that we are rising from the will to receive and wanting to run away from it, not necessarily from the fact that we are feeling bad but because we value it in such a way that the desire gives us all kinds of pleasant feelings in corporeal reception so we define between us that it is bad and try through our work during the times of the preparation to attain the desire, to receive it as bad and the desire to bestow as good. This is how we advance towards exiting this enslavement, inside the will to receive.

S. So what should we put the focus on during the attack?

R. During the attack only upon the connection between us as in the connection we also have an emergence from the separation of the will to receive and a drawing near to the desire to bestow.

4. S. (17:03) What does it mean to overcome our will to receive above the descents in the work?

R. That way, first of all, received these descents as an invitation for us to recognize the will to receive in our nature as a bad thing and a bad thing not because we feel bad from it, like in humanity which goes to attain in this way, rather we decide that they desire to receive is bad because it is far from the Creator, the desire to bestow between us. We are asking the reforming like to come and illuminate for us to open our eyes upon the fact that only the force of bestowal is the force that we want to dwell between us. Really there is no difference between the desire to receive and the desire to bestow; the difference is the Creator which is completely in the force of bestowal, therefore anything which is contradictory to Him we need to define immediately as being opposite to Him and therefore it is bad.

5. S. (18:38) It is written a descent can be a cessation of a minute, an hour, a day or a month, how much free choice do we have as the individual or as a ten in this to overcome?

R. As an individual I can, maybe disconnect from a discernment to come to some other discernment for a moment. I am after all under the influence of the environment. The question is what influence am I under if I am connected to the ten then certainly I can constantly be in spiritual discernment and advance, if I go out of the influence of the environment from the connection with my ten then I can enter under the influence of the wide world and it influences us and confuses us, not giving me the ability to overcome it. The question is how much do I give myself the importance of the ten upon the importance of the world and in the ten come to connection somewhat with them to understanding that only connection with them can be a way for me to win over the influence of the world and advanced into a state where my connection with the group will be so strong that I will feel in it, and it's center a connection with the Creator. 

The struggle is always who is more influencing towards me, whether it is my ten or the whole world and that is how we need to constantly work and deal with the attack which is upon us because I cannot be alone. Alone I don't decide any direction or correction, any developments, rather I have to understand that my development is defined according to the measure of my connection to the environment, just like Baal HaSulam writes in the matter of the environment and the article of The Arvut and other places. This is the system of Adam HaRishon which is shattered so if I bind myself to the system of Adam HaRishon even though it is broken. Yet we all want to collect the shattered pieces and connect them, then one will help his friend and we will show one another such examples, these tendencies and not let one another disconnect from the ten for even a moment. We will always, we want to always be connected to one another because only through the connection between us do we emerge from the control of the will to receive. 

Only through connection, not my inner effort itself but rather my effort to connect with the ten that is the big problem that we in our lifetime and in our egos are not capable of digesting. That only in raising the influence of our small environment, the ten, upon the influence of the whole world where I don't see the whole world, I don't feel it, it doesn't exist. For me only the ten exists and I want to constantly be in it and for it to influence me and me influencing it. Hence do not disconnect from it, awaken it and strengthen it as much as possible subjugate myself to the friends like it is written in The Social Articles and constantly be in that form and only in such a way do we find the attack. The attack is to the extent that ten is in control over me and in contradiction to all of the other realities. That is the true attack, if we can come to a state where I am under the influence of the environment, this small environment, the influence of the ten and I need to constantly work on this of course, if each time I have a new will to receive from the world that wants to come to me to confuse me and also in the ten, our desires are constantly stabilizing in a new way and I need to incorporate in them, to immerse myself and then so there is a constant work of incorporating in the environment. To be the smallest there, also to be great, intermingled in all of this I need to say when I come to a state that my mixture with this small environment, this ten will be such that it will be such an extent that I won't feel any difference. This is called to be as one man and one heart and in this we've revealed the Creator.

S. It looks like when we're not in an attack, in a pause, that we are in a descent. What is this descent when we're not in an attack?

R. Because you're under the influence of the will to receive which is constantly growing, this engine of the will to receive that is constantly growing also grows in several ways. There is like a dial of minutes and a dial of hours, a dial for seconds so each of these, all of reality spinning according to its time of billions of years upon earth this way and then around the still, vegetative, animal and the speaking develops fastest from all the rest of these circles. In the circle of the speaking you have all kinds of groups, nations, people as each of them develops according to his circle. It depends upon the extent to which a person wants and gets the drive, preparation to move from one circle to another. It is like in a pyramid which is in these constant circles, so then we need to see ourselves as much as possible increasingly more drawn towards more central circles and this is by us connecting to the right books, the methods that are more spiritual and this is how humanity advances as we see this in practice. 

We already, as we have come to the circle which is a spiritual circle, we get guidance on how to enter actual spirituality. Here the method is that we need to be connected as one man and one heart with the same desire, the same yearning, the same trend that we receive. We need to see that by this we need to come to the connection between us for the time being. For it to be sufficient, it is not yet as one man with one heart truly, the way that it is revealed to us. This is how we advance from circle to circle, circle to circle until we truly come to being one and reveal the Creator as one. This is the form of our development, therefore the attack eventually is a person upon himself, upon his ego separating himself from the ten to the extent he can be more connected to the ten and together we all in the ten help one another to reach this unity. The more we yearn to be in unity the more we yearn to come to the revelation of the Creator.

6. S. (28:39) In the previous part Rabash writes that a person receives these foreign thoughts to connect to spirituality? 

R. That is simple, we are talking about this all of the time, that all the faults and desires that bother us to connect us are necessitated to come to connection as we battle and need to come to this connection. It is our work which is not in us, ourselves wanting to do all kinds of things. We do something in the framework of this world, but it is true of the inner connection that can be done only by the upper force. Then we turn to the Creator, meaning our work is all in the fact that we are turning to the Creator and He needs to bring us this force of connection, meaning our work is not in connecting but rather and asking and obligating the Creator to connect between us.

S. Let's say there's a state of emotions that completely blocks the mind and I need to understand it’s incorrect, that I need to be in the ten, how?

R. That is very good. It's where you're doing efforts to connect in the ten that's the Creator telling you to turn to Him and telling you to turn to Him that you're not capable of doing anything and you need to turn to Him. That is excellent and actually it is called and the people of Israel sighed from the work, where as much as they wanted to connect to emerge from their egos it is called to exit Egypt. Egypt is the forces of separation as much as they wanted to unite they saw it was impossible so what did they do, they started to cry, in that cry actually brought them to an exit from their ego and they exited Egypt.

S. I turn to the Creator but not with a cry but with a dry request.

R. That is not important what way you turn to the Creator as long as you come to the feeling that you really want in the connection from the ten understanding by that you come to exiting your stage, your ego and you can't do this but only by the upper force you are asking. You are asking for the help of the Creator to be connected inside the ten in order to build there a place for the revelation of the Creator to bring Him contentment by that. That is what we need to constantly put before us as a goal.

7. S. (32:12) Here Baal HaSulam writes the power of desire is measured by quantity as well as the time that it takes between the sensations in the past so can you stay in and attack, they are moments that we are starting to run toward the goal?

R. The main thing is to see that these states are changed by the force from above meaning they are disconnected from each other and you need to constantly connect between you and to the Creator in order to demand for you to be connected and corrected with Him together. So it turns out that the Creator makes the disconnections between Him and you and you are asking for connections between you and him, constantly in this kind of ping-pong format, the cessations of connections and stops wake constantly operate in this way. In the number of disconnects and connections you advance and succeed.

8. S. (33:37) It turns out there comes a disturbance we need to overcome we do it through prayer and the more this overcoming is greater the greater the light that shines, on the other hand there's another way when we limit ourselves from the influence of the corporeal world by that this desire and this disturbance weakens. What Baal HaSulam explains about the influence of the environment is not a way of limiting the desire?

R. Try to express your question short: we don't need to battle it as a force of evil. We need to be drawn towards the force of good there for the fact that the world is attacking me and wants all of those things from me to do with me. I don't need to fight against that to battle. No I need to actually be drawn to the good and from the world I need as much as possible to distance myself. It's not important to me what is happening there or what each depicts from his ego trying to confuse my mind. I just want to connect to the force of connection in the ten and to the force of connection called the Creator, as if I am connecting myself to the ten and to the Creator and I am already in spirituality. To fight against the egoistic forces that the whole world wants to influence upon me, I do not intend to go against them like Don Quixote, against the windmills, I will always lose, why do I need to battle against the world this way? No, rather I need as much as possible now in my attack for connection between us and to the Creator to be isolated from the whole world and concentrated only on that to not refrain myself from the whole world that it will be fine and let it go around with all of its nonsense on its own.

9. S. (36:40) A friend in the ten is longing for the connection, feeling the connection in his own way. How do we come to a state where it is one?

R. We need to make efforts for connection and understand that our desire for spirituality is from each and everyone and their style and way, but because they are aimed to the Creator, he has actually one direction and one goal. Eventually, in this we need to unite. We don't have one desire for everyone but rather everyone has different desires for the Creator and in that we don't change but because we yearn for the Creator, who is the one source for us, specifically in that yearning it makes a connection between us. It turns out then we are in one heart.

S. How to clarify this direction?

R. We need to be in this direction all the time. This is how it needs to be, what happens along the way happens. We just need to put forth our efforts and what comes from those exertions the Creator answers and arranges for us.

10. S. (38:20) All the wisdom of Kabbalah talks about the quality of love, mercy and the more we delve into this quality the more we develop hatred towards the injustice of the egoism so how do we cope with that?

R. We don't talk about entering into hatred or repulsion, we want to be connected and working only with the force of good, only with the force of connection and not with the forces of rejection.

S. The attack is when you don't come down not even for more than a moment and the ascent is the outcry. What is the outcry in the ten?

R. That is where we all come to the place where we find we have one desire, one goal, one appeal to the Creator and we demand from Him to manage our spiritual work as we are willing to incorporate with Him, to nullify with Him and for Him to do the spiritual action upon us. This is considered that we come from a Tzimtzum, restriction and want Him to do the action. For the time being there all in an annulment, just like in an embryo the more he grows in his mother's womb, he grows by nullifying increasingly more and by that he grows more developing more. This is our work. We are not drawn towards the forces of hatred and the forces of rejection with all kinds of scrutiny to that extent, rather only to the force of good, the force of connection between us and the Creator. That is our work for the time being and later forces will come that are contradicted in a different way and we will have to work with them sorting them, but for the time being it is all in the direction for connection and the attack for now is that way.

11. S. (41:15) How is the desire strengthened by our work in the ten and is it about the individual desire of every friend or are we building this desire mutually between us in the ten?

R. The time of the descent depends on my preparation in the ten as much as I prepare myself at all kinds of actions and work, commitment as much as I am with my ten in all of my exercises, with that I really shorten the path because every single action of mind becomes directed, guided, correct and short and I advance with it. As much as possible to be on duty in the ten with all kinds of connections and roles so they will take you out of yourself towards the ten. Try to put together, all such exercises together.

12. S. (42:49) Before going on the attack what should we not forget to include in our plan for attack?

R. Ourselves, our vessel which is connection and our goal which is the Creator this is called Israel the light and the Creator are one as we want to include each himself in the ten and in the ten to reveal the Creator. The stage is that we do this way each time are called the path of Torah, through the light that influences us constantly advancing us towards more sizable connection.

13. S. (44:00) What advice would you give a friend who leaves the ten in order to go into something that he thinks is a ten, that will give him more progress? How do we relate to this now as we're trying to attack towards the Congress?

R. We don't need to be giving care to the friend who felt that he fell for the last time he may have been connected but he understands according to the intensive work and stages that we are going through, that he doesn't belong to it and falls from the path, I have seen many like that, that they cannot adapt themselves to us. What do we do? In an attack we don't count them or take them into consideration as if he fell and doesn't want to be with us, good luck to him and something else. He may find himself in another place and develop to his stage where he is capable to enter a spiritual world and into the attainment of the Creator. Baal HaSulam writes that many fall along the way but eventually everyone comes; it is the end of correction for everyone. This is why we need to take care of ourselves and if you fall, you fall. We need to invite them but not now before the Convention as now we are learning the attack and in this attack we don't look back only forward. Only towards the connection between us and those who want to connect. Do you understand that there is no choice that spirituality is attained only in the connection as we are in the last generation and the corrections are only in connection. Just like the Kabbalists tell us.

14. S. (46:35) We are talking about the attack and there is this feeling that there are various corporeal factors that are tearing us apart from this connection. How do we cope with this?

R. We don't need to attack anything just the forces that keep us, the forces of connection between you is what you need to raise in order to strengthen and this is called the attack. It is all inside the group, inside the ten and not to forget that what you are doing that you need to prepare yourselves for an attack to demand from the Creator to be with you, for you to be as a vessel in Him to be as the light and this is called the Creator will complete it for me as the Creator is the force that triumphs over all of the Klipot.

15. S. (47:57) Do we have to refresh the responsibility all the time to move from the night to the day by attacking?

R. We always have to renew the mutual guarantee, read the article and see what he says, all the time. Mutual guarantee is the connection between us which is what we need to constantly update and correct.

16. S. (48:37) When you have a friend in a ten that continually passes and never speaks, not wanting to participate, how does the ten need to view that person?

R. Work on him, in each and every ten you can find people who are sometimes failing on the path as they don't understand, not feeling. You need to try and drag them as much as possible unless they resist these actions in which case we take them out of the ten. But it is possible that they just can't do more than to just be neutral in their progress, meaning they don't have more strength than that and in this case we need to just include them.

S. We are all filled with our own egoistic garbage and we don't want to project it onto the others in the ten so how do you distinguish if a person is truly avoiding participation or just being stubborn because he doesn't know how?

R. That is something you should be discussing in the ten. I don't have any discernments here, just guess it in the ten and see with regards to your efforts to connect how much these people, they said that person is resisting and breaking the connection or that they don't pose a disturbance, you have to discuss this and see I can't go into that.

17. S. (50:51) If you could tell in the ten there's a very active friend who does many things and from time to time he gets in states where he disconnects, getting lost with no responses to phone calls and you can't get him out of the state just as now towards the Congress he fell again. By getting into some space, how are we to be in attack? Do we leave him and go with the composition that we have towards the Congress?

R. With whatever you can put him into your attack, as much as you can do it and if not don't, it's like in the Army when you go to an attack you can't now take into account all of those who fall or get sick, you keep them where they are and you collect them later. But the attack is that those who are capable to attack, they go out and barge forward.

18. S. (52:18) Is our work in the ten creating a world opposite to our egoistic world?

R. Yes, of course.

19. S. (52:54) At the time when all kinds of feelings come like the burning fire of hatred and separation, rejection you said we have to turn to the Creator. What do I turn to the Creator with, what am I asking at that moment when this takes over and there's nothing but that?

R. I perhaps don't understand the question, we always need to ask for a connection between us that will be suitable for the revelation of the Creator within us that this connection will be in order to bestow one person to his friend with all of these mutual forces of bestowal to each other and enabling us to approach the Creator giving Him the option to appear before us and to receive contentment from us because we have equivalence of form with Him.

S. That is clear but when the feelings come, overcoming us and there's no words for the Creator upon that wave what do we do at that moment?

R. That depends on the spirit, atmosphere in the ten, you have a very powerful ten. Try to make it so that the force of connection between you always lives that you have to keep it on fire like a fire that keeps burning all of the time, so that you keep going forward with it. I don't have other advice besides what we've received from the Kabbalists and then the prayer.

S. That is exactly what I want to ask, when you're feeling those states, what do you exactly do with such a wave of rejection hatred comes?

R. Inside the group?

S. For certain inside the group but you're feeling yourself that something is taking over you, what do you do?

R. It is an invitation that I need to overcome this so at first it comes to you, hitting you then you go into the ego, hatred, feeling all of those things because without it you can't feel or connect with the evil and you have to connect with it. Then you work on correcting this evil.

S. What is the work on the correction exactly?

R. Meaning before the evil comes that you set up such conditions in the ten that you are connected to each other in the ten so much that whatever comes and happens only happens as it says like a demon that grabs you meaning that it stings you for one moment and you can immediately begin correcting it.

S. What is the correction in?

R. The correction is in preparation for all of these things which is only about connection and unity, the importance of connecting so that even if now some stranglehold of separation jumps in, it falls right away and you keep going connecting on top of it. The overcoming is only with respect to connection, nothing else.

20. S. (57:04) We said we are working with a force of connection and said the attack is against the force of separation, so how do we work with the forces of separation adding to the prayer?

R. We don't take the forces of separation into account but when they come to us above them, once again we are drawn into connection not wanting to get into peeking into the forces of separation. We don't need to delve into them, we need to work above them when the separation appears. We jump over it and we want to be in a greater connection so that all of the forces of separation only strengthen our force of connection.

21. S. (58:06) What if we do ask, what is the scrutiny that needs to be?

R. Ask to connect despite the quality, that's it and there is nothing else this is exactly the work. Then you connect yourself to the Creator and through yourselves you connect the Creator's force with the negative evil force which He created deliberately and then you are in the middle in between the Creator and the negative spaces so the Creator will correct them and by the negative force when the Creator correct that, He appears in you and you discover Him. You can't discover spirituality without discovering the Klipot.

22. S. (59:09) Lately the tens are working very strongly and the more that we work, disputes and arguments between the men and also with the women?

R. My opinion is it is very good, promoting and advancing us towards the goal.

S. Is this all because of the upcoming Convention?

R. It is because we are advancing, humanity is fencing at a different pace and the evil that appears there is different, a different space and for us it is faster. There is no reason to be afraid, on the contrary we need to respect the evil that it is all of creation that we have created the evil inclination and as a result we advanced towards good.

S. Sometimes it's a bad feeling when you have these arguments but we're trying to overcome them in the work.

R. You should be happy about the recognition of the evil, the revelation of evil, be happy about it in every moment greater evil will unfold meaning that we can rise above it as a sign of progress.

23. S. (01:00:36) Hatred or the force of separation that is revealed, what is this? Is this a pause or work?

R. Hatred is the force of separation that appears from the shattering of Adam. It has to appear along the way as there is nothing bad about it; it is from the initial shattering that happened in the beginning of Creation in the system of Adam. It appears, becoming revealed, nothing new under the sun. The shattering happens from light to heavy and this is how we move towards the end of corrections through all of the shattering.

S. This is part of the work.

R. This is the work.

S. Why do we call this a break?

R. It is a break and our move forward but it is included in the same work as Baal HaSulam explains with regards to the wheels, like the wheels of the bicycle, so the wheel when it moves forward a part goes up and forward and a part goes backwards but ultimately it moves forward.

24. S. (01:02:00) In the previous lessons we learned that we need to try to see our next states and what we need to try to depict to ourselves what will happen after the attack, after the convention?

R. We need to portray to ourselves the state of connection and in this state to discover the mutual force of bestowal between us, the Creator. This is what we need to discover and how we advance. With that we will discover the new reality and the new world.

25. S. (01:02:56) It is written for the ways of the Creator are straight in the righteous will succeed in them and the wicked will fail. Who are the righteous and who are the wicked here?

R. It is the desire in us for connection and separation.

S. The righteous are the desires that are for connection?

R. Yes, and the villains, the wicked are the desires for separation so when we advance we overcome the desires of separation and connect to those of connection.

26. S. (01:03:46) What does it mean to make a decision in the ten before the Convention as you feel you can't do this together?

R. You have to reach a state where there is proximity between you as you're moving closer to each other trying to stop seeing spirituality as something you can obtain on your own, only through connection between you. This is the main problem because it is true it is against our ego, above our nature, the connection. This is why we learn about the matter of attack that only by this leap, by this attack can we go through this stage and of course we ask the Creator to do this action over us, on us but on your own no one can do it. The main problem is for a person to realize his desire for spirituality is that he wants to realize it alone, he thinks he can go to some secluded place and delve into himself working with himself to be righteous and attain something. Although it used to be possible in the past but since Abraham already we recognize that it is impossible. Abraham was the first to discover that the will to receive that appears, unfolding, in his time it was called Nimrod, he saw that it grows only from human beings to rise above it, to connect above it to attain the Creator. You can't attain the Creator personally or individually. Still a small group is required of two, three or five in order for one to come out of himself, inside oneself there is no revelation of spirituality, this is not spirituality as there must be some sort of connection between at least two of the system of Adam HaRishon and it cannot appear in one individual as it has to be at least two which is there will be contrast between them as there must be at least two and to the extent that they can connect between them and can be in these two levels of conflict in connection, opposition and connection there they build a place for the Creator to be revealed and this is the only way that it works.

27. S. (01:07:21) The force of desire is defined on one hand by the number of preventions and detainment and on the other hand the breaks need to be short with this measure of disconnect where I'm trying to understand who I am relative to the friends in the ten?

R. If I wish to detach from my ego, I can do this only if I am in my friends, in the group otherwise I don't detach from my will to receive. I, myself, cannot exit my will to receive only on the condition that I come out of myself and become included in a different desire, the desire of the ten and that is a big problem because we are all great egoists. This work is very difficult to the point that we see we can't do it alone and then we truly begin to recognize that the Creator has to be our partner here so by trying to come out of oneself and integrating with the friends, there I need the Creator and must have the Creator to commit this restriction, screen and reflected light on top of me to connect with the others and when I connect with them I build my desire to bestow, this is called one receives one. That my desire to bestow that I produce is ready to receive the general force of bestowal called the Creator in this is why it is called, BoReh, come and see, come and discover the true form of reality.

28. S. (01:09:26) Two days before the Convention we see it's going to be a special Convention with all the lessons in a virtual way, without any physical connection between us.

R. All of the lessons will be in the form of a workshop as we did now but without questions to me, most important is that you connect between you, among yourselves because the goal of the Congress is to achieve connections, unity, some proximity to the revelation of the Creator. The form of the Congress is that you are all connecting in tens that you have to examine and set up these connections to see how well they work and accordingly this is what we will do. You have to understand that your connection gives you the ability to discover something spiritual. There is no choice.

S. The question that awakened in the ten about the physical meetings that we should or shouldn't do during the Congress?

R. If it is permitted in terms of health, then I think so.

S. If we go in that direction some will be able to participate and others not with many different issues, how important is that physical connection? Maybe we don't need it although there are friends that really yearn for it and we can understand this?

R. I don't know how much it is important, I feel this way also that a connection with you and I barely need a corporeal connection but still I don't know, this is one of the problems that the Creator drops on us and probably wants to show us that we are not yet worthy of spiritual connection and even not corporeal connection that we are in between two worlds. Again even if we are going to be connecting, in a single place, then you need to take into account, are you complying with all of the regulations of the health ministry and that you're not going against what is determined by your governments wherever you are. R. I don't know. R. We went through all of the material of the Congress lessons and it doesn't matter that we already went through all of it, what matters is the main emphasis during the Congress is that you are connecting on top of these quotes, these quotes are just to stimulate you so that you will connect deeper within and between you until we reach Arvut between you and the Creator the goal of the Congress.

31. S. (01:19:33) How do you feel a true real connection in the world?

R. A true connection in the work you feel that the force of connection between everyone becomes revealed and this is called the Creator, there in that force we feel an additional essence, why? Because it emerges from connection, connection of opposites, of contrast which is why it is called, BoReh, come and see, two things there, you have to come and see, the concept of the Creator is something that is comprised of two parts, a force of separation and a force of connection this is how you can identify him otherwise the created beings cannot see the upper force but only as a force of connection over the force of separation. R. If I have a concern each and every moment that I am drawn to connection in the 10 as one that means I am under the influence of the ten.

R. R. How can it be when we discuss between us everyone is asking for his own thing, what is his own thing? R. The upper force created existence from absence, existence from absence. The will to receive and he designed the will to receive in such a way that it will develop and understand and feel that it exists, that he exists outside the upper force and that it wants to attain and become similar to the upper force. That is how the Creator designs the will to receive it in such a way. R. R. The Congress is a practical action where all of us are making an effort to bring ourselves to a vessel in which the Creator will be revealed. There is nothing else here. We will try to do it, the Creator will prepare everything, we will try to do what the Kabbalists are telling us, giving us advice to follow and let us hope that we will succeed.

41. S. (01:56:33) You are saying that we're concerned that we build this vessel in the Congress and you want the tens coming to one heart, how can we build this mutual request?

R. It has nothing to do with that literal or spoken definition, it connects nowhere except in the common desire of the heart between us and this is what needs to happen. If we would long and yearn to disconnect from our egoistic hearts and to be in the common heart as one man and one heart by this we are establishing the place, the place is called a deficiency for the revelation of the Creator between us according to the law of equivalence of form. If we construct such a place, called a common deficiency in here we will reveal the Creator and we must reveal the Creator, all of the prayers and all of our requests are so that we would ultimately arrange ourselves correctly. R. S. How is it possible in the 10?

R. Because you're doing something one towards the other and out of that from envy, lust and honor you gradually acquire such an attitude towards the force of bestowal.

S. Inside the will to receive still imagines that bestowal is a reward?

R. It doesn't matter, you start with a little bit there are many states in many degrees, each time the states that we are about to discover is that state of bestowal, a little bit of that love that has to be there.

S. What is the right direction to get rid of the filth of reception in every request?

R. This is according to your effort in the 10 and no more.

S. The effort is from the ego, I feel like I'm making an effort but it's for personal gain?

R. To keep going as you see here from the excerpts.

45. S. (02:13:23) How can we do best that the connection, love and bestowal will intensify in the 10 while the outside world intensifies in opposite qualities, we learn that blows can be avoided?

R. We now don't think of the outside world because we have no way of bestowing to it, rather before we connect ourselves we bring ourselves to such a connection where we can become the source of spiritual power, a good force, the force of connection, the force of bestowal and before that we have nothing with which to bestow to the outside world. Our work is only in that, how do we come to connection between us and from this moment on if we discover the connection between us it will be a vessel by which we will be able to include everything as well as the outside world.

46. S. (02:15:03) On one hand we have to get despaired from our forces, on the other hand to turn to the Creator, how to connect those two?

R. We need to be despaired of our own strength and specifically from that do we turn to the Creator to help us to connect us so we will have one force for the Creator to be revealed in us. By this inner power we revealed between us we will advance, we can't advance with our broken egoistic desires, we can only advance when we turn to the Creator and we turn to him from the 10 and from the 10 when we somehow connect between us corporeally we wish to attain the connection also spiritually. With that we turn to the Creator and the Creator of reveals to us a little bit of spiritual desire. Again with the spiritual desire we turn to the Creator and he answers us, giving us a little bit of a desire to bestow and connect, again we turn to him and we get more of the force of bestowal from him and this is how we do it more each time until we become owners of a vessel of bestowal, a small one. By this we can connect between us and in these connections we make in the 10 make us in Partzuf, and in this spiritual Partzuf, we can begin to receive to bestow the upper light the revelation of the Creator can take place in us and this is how we advance.

47. S. (02:17:44) What do you do when you are despaired of asking from the Creator?

R. I don't know what else you have to turn to besides the Creator, what will you do, I don't know. Other than the Creator you have nothing hence, you simply must turn to him reluctantly, despair is good who gave you this despair, the Creator. R. You are asking first of all, first to feel that everything you received through the upper world, from the outside world through the 10 and everything all comes from the Creator, there is none else besides Him, you are asking Him to teach you how How to properly respond to it, that is the meaning of asking him to teach you the ways of Torah, the ways of bestowal and with that you are turning to him.

R. S.  It's hard for me to say I'm my own but we are very connected, we're together two years already.

R. You all connect together, you all show up together and you feel that you're altogether or only half of you show up once in a while?

S. Most come everyday to the lesson and connect more or less about 10 friends three times a day on Zoom.

R. I don't know what to say, 10 out of 15 it already says that there are those who don't feel themselves truly connected are truly belonging to the 10 but we have to sort it out as we can't have a 10 with more than 10, although we had a group made of 16 people in the times of Rabash we had such a group but it's not recommended. Then each and everyone feels that they can get along without him there's no pressure on him, that is what he feels. Think about it.

S. Think about it before the Congress because it's two days from now should we start circulating about it?

R. I don't know I won't take it upon myself. I also don't think that you can make such connections and divisions right away, it's not good. After the Congress somehow we will work it out, but for the time being we need to do as we have. Rather, if there are those where it is clear to them what they have to do and how they have to divide in a certain way that is something else, but it's only on the condition that there is an agreement that the whole group is dividing into two.

51. S. (02:24:51) If everything in reality is man and the Creator in the world, and the 10, that is how the Creator seems to us, so what is the mutual work towards the attack?

R. By working on connecting the all of humanity together and by that you are bringing yourself back into the framework of Adam HaRishon, where Adam is you, and all of the rest only appears to you as people who exist, they are your parts and you will later discover that they are all in you. What about the others? There are no others, you are the person that is in adhesion to the Creator and then they are all included in you. For the time being, we can't see it properly, but we will discover it's so, and it won't be difficult, you will be there and everyone will be in you and you will connect them in love and bestowal and the Creator is there also dwelling among all of these parts and closing them into one.
