Part 1:

The Ruin as an Opportunity for Correction - Selected Excerpts from the Sources. #61

1. Rav’s Introduction: We are in a special state which is called the 9th of Av, the 9th of Av, it’s not a date on the calendar but rather it is a state where we, that we and all created beings have to go through in order to feel ourselves that is opposite to the Creator so later on we can put in forces, efforts in connection between us and in coming closer to Him, resembling to Him, adhering to Him, and this is why we relate to this state of the 9th of the month of Av which is called the ruin, or a bad state, shattering, evil place, which is the farthest from the Creator, the fall, the deepest descent, we relate to these things, this state as necessary things in our development and we have to go through that, well what can we do, this is the process that this is how the created being goes through these state from the state which is the farthest from the Creator not to the state when he is adhered to the Creator in any way possible and therefore this state is an important state we have to relate to it not with crying and not that is something that we go through as our fate but as something necessarily that we have to go through, and examine, and understand, and feel, and out of this darkness which we study which we discover we later reach connection, light, adhesion, and a spiritual ascent to the purpose of creation therefore this day is a very important day you might say that specifically thanks to it we reach the end of correction and therefore we need to be excited by it because of the greatness of this day even though it is a very unpleasant day because we feel ourselves that we are in the shattering in the feeling of the nastiness, lowliness, distance from the Creator, distance from connection on the one hand, and without that it would be impossible to reach connection, correction and adhesion, this is why we study that it is impossible to reach love without hatred that each and everything is attained from the opposite concept and therefore even though this is unpleasant for us to study about this state of the 9th of Av of our distance from the Creator, that’s on one hand but on the other hand we do need to contemplate this as much as possible because this is about our state our nature and just like in science here too in the wisdom of Kabbalah which is the highest science we also attain everything from the opposite state and so if we want to reach great corrections we first must be in the opposite state in the great descents, well let's read and let's see you will be able to ask and we will scrutinize it together.

Reading (05:16 - 06:09) What is Unfounded Hatred in the Work? “Our sages said….”

2. R. (06:10) The Temple means, as we study, not the tower, the structure that we make out of stones but rather when we connect between us. So apparently this was two thousand years ago that they were not able to connect between them in a nice, good, correct manner, and this is why it was broken. The First Temple was built after they came from Egypt, from the exile of Egypt to the land of Israel and later on, there was the war with Nebuchadnezzar and that first Temple was ruined, then they built a second Temple after they came from the exile of Babel, Babylon. They built a second Temple, this was already, well a bit more than two thousand years ago, and the difference between the First and the Second Temple was great. That the connection between people, it is not about how much they have built. There was not much to build there, they never wanted to build something that was huge, beautiful externality, but it was all related to the internality, the degree of connection between people, this was actually the temple. This was the place where we pray or from where we pray to the Creator, this is how it was always important for people until they stopped thinking about the connection between them, and this is what caused the ruin of the Second Temple as well. Nowadays, we are before the construction of the Third Temple which should not be built with stones and so we have no interest in fighting over some area in Jerusalem or anywhere because there is nothing to it. But rather we just have to connect our heart and build a single heart, and by us connecting in our hearts it is written that “this temple will rise to the heaven”. We will feel in it that we are rising to the heaven, to the Creator, and this will be the true correction and the Third Temple, so let's see what he writes next.

Reading (09:39 - 17:46)

3. R. (10:33) Which means that the most important thing was what was between the people the ‘unfounded hatred’ and so even though they built something it could not exist. What is this ‘unfounded hatred’?

Continues (10:50)

4. R. (11:34) This means that the most important thing is the ‘unfounded hatred’, what does it mean ‘unfounded’, this is interesting how do we understand this?

Continues Reading

5. S. (17:52) It is not so clear the connection between ‘unfounded hatred’ and our nature to work for reward.

R. Unfounded hatred is what we have out of our egoistic desire, that whatever is outside of us we have a problem with that, we want everything to be ours.

6. S. (18:26) So it turns out that asking from the Creator?

R. We will scrutinize this later, don’t jump ahead, scrutinize what we are now studying.

7. S. (18:49) You said that sorrow is part of our progress, in our nature we have the power to fight against this evil, this sorrow but in spirituality there is nothing that gives us a taste, nothing that gives an opportunity for reward, what is this free gift?

R. Guys, I don't know, what are you asking? Whatever we read now, this is what I want you to ask about and not about what will be later, what we haven't studied yet. Learn how to ask about what we are studying, what is not clear in what we have read now and not about what you want to happen later.

S. I don't understand, what is “a free gift”.

R. We will read, and you will see.

8. S. (20:08) What is the reason for unfounded hatred?

R. The Creator gave us this quality and now we’re scrutinizing it. Okay, I see that all of your questions are from wisdom; you already want to jump to the end, I like to study about what is written before me, about on the same page. Out of four pages we only read one page, so let's read on and we will see.

Reading (20:43)

9. R. (23:44) Now we can understand that we do not need anything besides connecting to the Creator. This is the Hey, Malchut, our desire, that it will be in the bestower like the Vav, Zeir Anpin, which is above us. This actually is the answer to all that we ask, this is everything that we need for all of our deficiencies, for this desire, for this correction is what we want, that our qualities will resemble the qualities of Zeir Anpin, which is above us.

Reading (24:26)

10. R. (24:43) Meaning, all of these things are not important that we do not know quite what it is: the Torah, and the Mitzvot and the charity. The most important thing is that they did not have the most important thing there.

Reading (25:05)

11. R. (25:19) Yes, this means that the most important is connection, love.

Reading (25:26)

12. R. (26:59) This means it’s not important what you do with your hands, it is not important the way you pray, how beautiful you appear before everybody, now of this matter. It doesn't matter how much you know, what is written from all kinds of sources, that you are wise, and everybody thinks that you, that you are righteous, this does not matter. If you do not have love towards people but rather the opposite, unfounded hatred, then this breaks everything. This stands opposite all of the actions and all of the things that you can do. You can know all the books, the whole of the Torah, you can engage in all kinds of beautiful things in the public, whatever you can imagine but one thing only must not be missing, if you have an egoistic relation to people then everything that you do opposite that, from the other side, from the good side, is not relevant. It is ruined and it is not taken into consideration.

13. S. (28:21) From the text, it turns out that unfounded hatred is hatred towards any phenomenon of bestowal including myself?

R. Let it be so, eventually it should be clear to each and every one, inside of us. You’re saying it correctly but nevertheless each one has to establish this concept of bestowal and opposite bestowal, whatever he has it should be clear to him where he is in each and every moment.

14. S. (29:08) The concept of the Temple, what is that state?

R. It is what they build between themselves, certain good relationships but this state requires a few conditions; there has to be a certain connection because otherwise it is not going to be a building and obviously this is the ten where in the ten we connected in order to know, in order to study, in order to perform all kinds of actions like meals, everything that we need. And the most important is that we have to reach an inner connection between us in our egoistic desires so that every would rise above them and we will connect above them in a mutual desire to bestow to each other in order to reach, by this, such equality of mutual bestowal which will be connection to the Creator. I we hold on to this building that we want to build between us, that it is considered that we are building the right Temple. If love is missing there between us, then we can build and study together, and perform all kinds of actions together and what-not, we will scrutinize this more, but that will not be important because from the connection between us, if it is not with a mutual internet connection in order to reach the Creator and become incorporated in Him in that each one annuls himself before the others and he only wants to hold them and push them forward, if such a thing is not there then it will not exist. So, throughout history we connect more and more, we scrutinize more and more the connection between us, and we can see this also on mankind, and also in this group of Abraham and ourselves and then in such a way we check and we strengthen the connections between us until we reach a state where the connection between us will be internal and clean, pure, in such a way that in it, we will discover this essence called the Creator. That we will build a home for Him, a place for Him, what we call the Temple where we discover this quality, this unity, when we together build Him. We build a vessel and then we discover this main force that exists in the whole of reality, in the whole of reality which is called the Creator.

S. The Temple, is it something we have to build all the time or is it already built like a certain degree?

R. This Temple exists to begin with, but it was broken and broken and broken with respect to us so that we, as we buy building blocks for children or Lego or all kinds of things so that we will put together with our own internal forces such connections that they will be like the Creator, this is how it works.

15. S. (33:35) What is the connection between hate or love to intention, intention to bestow?

R. The intention expresses a person's inclination, a person's purpose, a person's desire, and this is what we, therefore, increase, what we want to emphasize, what we want to take care of.

S. But how does the intention to bestow and the hatred, like he writes here, how are they connected, what is the connection between them?

R. Let's start working and you will see it, how much they are connected to each other. We need to think only about what our heart is aimed toward, this is it. This is what you should feel inside of your heart, you should feel where is it directed and all the time, check that.

S. Let's say now I feel hate, hatred towards a friend so how will the intention to bestow help here?

R. So instead of hatred you need to reach love and for this you need to turn to the Creator because the Creator gives you the feeling of hatred towards the friend. There is None Else besides Him, He exists in the beginning of every action, every feeling, and you have to reach the end of every action and every feeling that you love Him, so you turn to the Creator so He will correct it for you.

S. Then it will be already like a positive intention?

R. Of course, yes, if you love the friend instead of hating him then you already have a good, corrected connection. As much as the person has a greater evil inclination towards others, it is hard for him to connect, it is hard for him to advance together with them, to that extent we can say that he has a stronger soul. For the time being, it is corrupted but in the future it will be corrected.

16. S. (36:27) It is not clear what is that Temple that they couldn’t build because of the hatred?

R. That doesn't matter, there were other conditions there. It was possible for them to get closer and to do something in the connection between them. By studying together, praying together, building together, all kinds of such other things, but not that there was connection in the heart but in external qualities. Like what we have in our life, just like I might have at work or even in the family that we are not quite relating to each and everything with an open heart. I do not even know what an open heart is, I relate nicely to friends, I relate nicely to everybody, this is considered ‘a good person] but that’s not the absolute, pure love that the Torah demands from us.

17. R. (This text was cut from the recording) Let's clarify the questions first and follow the text and not from the front so let's clarify the questions first.

18. S. (37:46) Is the shattering related to the mixture between the vessels of bestowal and the vessels reception, what is the result of this process?

R. The result is that there was a mixture, and we cannot tell the difference between good and bad.

19. S. (38:17) Would it be correct to say that we have to hold on, simultaneously, to both unfounded love and unfounded hatred and advance between them?

R. We will clarify this, it’s not simple you are asking something very broad, but truth, we will have to clarify both unfounded hatred and unconditional love.

20. S. (38:56) What does it mean to have a pure, clean connection?

R. “Clean connection” meaning that it’s in order to bestow to others.

Reading (38:18)

21. R. (41:46) Meaning that we correct our desires, we connect them together, so they are suitable and worthy of the lights that come to fill them.

Reading (41:48)

22. R. (43:27) So demands for connection are always rising, more and more connection, more in order to bestow. And so when comes the time for the second Temple, the demands would rise to a degree where it does not matter what you pray or what you do or what you have at all there in terms of your habits, what is most important is if you have connection in the hearts and that will appear as non-existent between people, and this is why the second Temple was also ruin, that is 2000 years ago, we’re are talking about it like that. But, of course, it is not about any stones, but it is about connection between people that did not exist.

23. S. (44:40) We constantly study the order of the decline of the worlds that there is always a screen that is not sufficient to hold on, then we discover another shattering and something else to correct?

R. No, no, it’s not more shattering, it’s not more shattering, from below upwards we keep holding ourselves, and we are not talking about what is created by human beings. It is the order of the lights and vessels that arrange their relationships.

S. So, it’s because these people were not connected, this is what is specifically the reason for the ruin of the Second Temple?

R. Yes, that they did not have sufficient connection.

S. Did they have the opportunity for it or was it necessary?

R. No, it was determined because it’s also from above downwards and from below upwards. They still had from below upwards increasingly rising demands. Before the ruin of the Second Temple they were in all kinds of connection between them and that was sufficient; then came the time when the demand appeared more, meaning the connection had to be in the hearts for the sake of higher bestowal and they could not make that happen between them and so what they had as a previous degree was ruin but ‘ruin’ meaning that it is a revelation of those mistakes flaws that now need to be corrected so the Third Temple is built. And there everything happens in the form of intention in order to bestow.

S. Is that what Rabash writes here, he mentions that there was this yearning for such a connection?

R. Yes, yes, they would carry out all kinds of connections between them but in an external fashion and all those Mitzvot, all that we read about, in those times people were concerned about carrying out external forms of actions to the maximum. But the heart they did not feel, it is not that they are guilty, they simply did not feel that obligation and when that need appears that connection between them is ruined.

S. I don’t know if it’s relevant but if so, why did they arrange for us the external forms of this Mitzvot if even that didn’t help to keep the inner connection?

R. Ultimately in order to keep us just organized, we still have to be organized from below upwards, so we have to try to build some connection between us. And you see the world develops along with that, so it is not happening the way things happened before and so we have to try to build the connections between us in the material way so that the whole world is like one sphere, and most importantly we need to build in our hearts the connection, the main thing is the connection between us and this is really where our work becomes the most important. Of course, there will be resistance between us and all kinds of other form of connections that say, ‘we’re good just doing this or that’, and everyone will discover how there will be all kinds of religions and different factions within the people of Israel, and we will have no shortage of enemies and harm doers in the work. That is also directed from above in order to better and better direct us towards the purpose of creation.

24. S. (49:30) If I may ask in the following way: when a mother wants the children to play between them, she wants it for herself, is this considered a reward?

R. Of course, of course, when a mother plays with her baby she does everything because she has a very big will to receive which is fulfilled with the baby. If we could detach that desire, disconnect that desire in the mother she would not play with the baby just as she does not play with the baby of her neighbor, it is all about the will to receive, that’s it.

S. You give us such an example that this is how the Creator is relating to us, that He’s expecting from us to behave just like the mother expects from the child. So, when we try to build such connections between us, such relations, out of that I always get this thought that I am the one who is working but they are not working, and Rabash also writes in his articles. And I guess from this thought stems all of the problems, this is what corrupts everything. As we read now, these thoughts, they are the ones who ruin everything?

R. For now it is good, it’s good if you are engaged in that, fine. Try to be as connected as possible to desires that are connected to others, to connect, to embrace, to support, to help along with the criticism that you activated and then it advances you.

25. S. (51:38) It is written that “repentance is a direction to its root”. How can we increase this longing in the ten to turn back to our root?

R. There aren’t many means, I think the most powerful is that you learn from friends. The more you are included with them, and you discuss it with them, and you study together and somehow this is the best influence on the person.

S. So, will we discover that actually every part of the system is acting according to how it should act, and Jerusalem is already built in a magnificent way, it is only that we don’t see it?

R. Yes, of course everything already exists, everything already exists in the final correction and there was never any corruption, it’s all just happened in our imagination. What is displayed before us when we scatter that imagination through our efforts we will come to the constantly existing state.

S. One more sensation that I feel, all other human beings, all my ten they have a secret language, they have some different forms of connection which only I do not exist in, and it is like they are all like angels and this is a theater, and I am the only one who's not in it.

R. This is also correct, this is correct, the person should think that the whole world depends on him, and he alone can correct the world and that all the others are like elements in his work, yes okay, keep going, the most important is to keep going.

26. S. (54:28) If it says that “it will become the potion of death for him”, how can we feel this feeling that it is not rewarded, it turns him into the potion of death?

R. Repeat please.

S. It is written here that “if he is not rewarded, it turns for him, into the potion of death”. How can we feel this reward that we get in the work between us if we work between us and the reward should come from the Creator?

R. But you are working between you so that the Creator will give you a reward, you want Him to give you the force of bestowal, this is the reward, hence you turn to the Creator and ask.

27. S. (55:50) I wanted to ask you: do you think that people have understood like we do now why the First and Second Temples were destroyed?

R. No, no, no of course not and we should not talk to them about that, we are forbidden. It says about that, “the reason of Torah is the opposite to the reason of the landlords”, so whatever they think, let them think. Let them read whatever stories, legends, we do not need to mingle with them, and they should not mingle with us. We are talking about the perception of the spiritual world, the true perception of the world, the way it exists in the upper world above us. This is what we are trying to get closer and feel and even enter and that is unrelated to what ordinary people know. We do not need to speak to them or share that with them, this has to be clear to you all. If somebody gets confused with that then just go there and leave us alone because that will only do harm.

S. But could there be more people who will come and understand that?

R. They will come to us as a result of our dissemination or even without dissemination and then they’ll join us, that’s it and that’s bit by bit, by speaking to them in a simple, easy, and very soft language that allows them to get gradually closer and learn that.

28. S. (58:00) We learn that the spiritual state should be perfect, complete, only then it exists. Now in the First and Second Temples there was a certain process, a temporary process, if we say that they were not able to hold onto it, it means that there were already some cracks, some flaw which gradually evolved into the ruin, so why do we feel that there was a process there, not immediate ruin?

R. It is all for people to understand what the structure of the higher system is and how it develops before us, and it will come to the connection between us and the Creator. And how it can be either towards increasing connection or increasing disconnection and it is all for us to be in that system and to be able to make an action that, ultimately, we are activating the system.

29. S. (59:18) I want to ask you, it's not so clear to me, First Temple, Second Temple, it’s like some legend. What should we do in the ten so that we will connect as one man in one heart, dissemination?

R. You don't belong to the first or second ruin of the Temple, what you belong to is only your connection in the ten and your connection in the ten, you should make it as strong as possible according to what Baal HaSulam and Rabash write, and this connection will be called building the Temple.

S. So, engage only in the ten?

R. Only in the ten, this is called building the Temple.

30. S. (01:00:11) Is written that they were lacking the vessels of the soul what's the difference between asking for a connection and asking for vessels of bestowal?

R. Same thing but the connection is the result of the vessels of bestowal.

31. S. (01:00:33) What do we have more than our forefathers so that we can build the third temple, is it possible that we have more faith than Abraham?

R. No, we have all the broken vessels, and that is why we are able to build this connection between us which will be called a complete connection or the Third Temple.

Reading (01:01:14) “It therefore follows that man is born…”

32. R. (01:03:07) Meaning in order to receive.

Reader Continues (01:03:09) “And now everything that is taken…”

33. R. (01:03:15) Yashar El, straight to the Creator.

Continues (01:03:19) “But what is the authority of…”

34. S. (01:04:33) It's very interesting. How come everything that Israel has it all passes to become the property of the One of the Creator?

R. It's either in order to bestow or in order to receive, that is the difference. The desire is the same desire, and the difference is only in the intention.

S. How to depict to ourselves that each one from the people of Israel…?

R. No, no, no, what are you talking about a people, a nation? We are talking about the person, that is it. We never talked about the entire nation. No, the wisdom of Kabbalah turns to a single individual, each and every one in how he needs to correct himself and connect with the others and the Creator. It's not that it is turning to an actual group of people at most a ten like we're talking about now.

S. I understand but if we are talking about a person how can it be that I for example have nothing that belongs to me but only the Creator's possession?

R. Well of course, what do you have?

S. A person feels that he has something of his own, some plans of his own that belong to him?

R. If you saw the true form you would see that there is nothing of your own, nothing, not your plans or what you did or what you're planning to do, there is nothing of your own, nothing of yourself, nothing. It is all just seeming to you. You are in a dream. That is it. And the only thing you really have is the ability to awaken the point in the heart which the Creator begins to awaken and you can continue to awaken and then that point in the heart awakening the connection with the Creator is your point from which you can then achieve independence.

S. When a person wakes up from this dream is it considered that he shifted to the authority of the Creator?

R. We will talk about that later. First try to awaken from your slumber, to recover and recognize that everything in you comes from the Creator.

35. S. (01:07:47) The temple was ruined, and it could not be built and because I am expecting some reward that I would like to gain?

R. The temple was ruined because it had to be ruined, it had to be. Because then when it was ruined it's with the relics of it we can then assemble at higher connection which is truly similar to the Creator where we don't need charity of Torah and Mitzvot and all kinds of other studies of the Talmud and other things, we just need connection of the hearts between everyone and to the Creator. More questions?

S. Turns out that we study from our mistakes, is that is what this is about?

R. No don't start with your philosophies. We don't learn from our mistakes, no. We have to keep going the other way, just to close our eyes and keep moving forward. Okay.

S. You now said that the temple was ruined because it had to be broken so that on the basis of the shattering we will be able to build something new?

R. Yes, yes say it like that, yes.

S. So my question is the following the daily example in our perception is like when you teach us for example that we need to be in the lesson each and every day this enable us to advance if we see that we're not capable of creating such an image we get in our thought that maybe I wonder friends to be in the lesson this is the reward which is for myself so my intention is for myself, this is how it is expressed. How should I relate to this if I want the friends to be in the lesson is it for myself?

R. The main thing is the lessons because without the lesson you won't advance so it doesn't matter in what intention you think you are in right now what's important is that everyone comes and is filled by the lesson and advances. Your intentions that's not the primary thing right now.

S. You teach us that this is how it has to be now when we see it doesn't work out how to justify, how to say that this picture where it seems to me that the friend is drilling a hole in the boat, how can I justify it and say that everything is fine?

R. You have to add to that your own corrections.

36. S. (01:11:37) I heard many times from you there is nothing to correct in individuals, nothing belongs to an individual, only the connection between us needs to be corrected. So we need to turn back to our roots inside our connection. So in our root how would our connection be between us?

R. There it exists, don't worry. We just have to in each and every moment as much as we can connect, and from that root of connection to the Creator.

S. In the connection there is one who loves and one who is being loved. And actually the difference, the separation begins in that, begins in being two. The one who is in love wants to melt inside the one who is being loved. And to reach wholeness by becoming zero inside it. So between us and the friend should we annul our desire and only live inside the desire of the friend?

R. We needs to take all our desires in favor, against, whatever they are and connect between us to the Creator. And then Creator corrects all these desires and ties them all together. It is impossible to make a connection, to have a connection unless there are opposite qualities there that are different and in contrast.

S. Like two sides of one coin, unfounded hate and bestowal. But we have a possible to leap again.

R. Yes.

37. S. (01:14:13) We see in the article that it’s clear that external actions are not sufficient?

R. They were over in the second temple.

S. Why to begin with, did they go for that externality?

R. It was a correction, it was a correction. Torah and work and charity and all those things that was a correction. A person is made of several layers, and we had to build the temple in all those things. Although even back then there were many people who were laughing and this construction, made fun of it and cried. Why is it taking place in corporeality and not in spirituality. You can find it in books here and there.

S. So why, what is the answer?

R. Because not everyone reaches such a spiritual degree that they can understand it and feel it. You need to educate the people, connect the people, bring to their heart, that all of the correction is in the internal connection and not the external stuff. Look at what is happening now. How many millions you have who are ready to understand what external connection is but in the heart? They don't want it, that’s it. We're not even speaking about the egoistic heart but in this altruistic tendency which is above the heart you understand that it is not simple at all.

S. What's the connection between an external connection of actions to the intention in order to receive?

R. The external expression? I didn’t get it.

S. What is the reason that the connections were shattered, the intention to receive or the external actions? Why are they confusing us?

R. Because we think that by doing some corporeal external action we're making a correction.

S. And what’s the connection to in order to receive?

R. It turns out that by that we are reinforcing in order to receive because I’ve done, with my hands, with my legs. You see what I’ve done, this great, big thing, rich, luxurious, expensive. What, it's not considered a Mitzvot? it doesn't mean that I'm doing something special? A person lives in his broken desires, and he understands in them what is a Mitzvot, what is a transgression, what to do.

S. Clear. And this tendency in order to receive reward from external actions how is it expressed with us today? Us I mean BB, the tens?

R. It's hard for us to come out from the intentions to in order to receive. We consider ourselves. Who are we, what are we, what are the actions we are doing? How can they benefit me, harm me? Me, not us. This is the main thing here.

S. And how to be cautious of that, how to cleanse myself from the external actions?

R. Constantly think how can I correct everything, the general connection between us. What do I add to the society, to the connection in society? Only this is important, nothing besides that.

S. We say a lot of times that external actions help, and we should do them, and we do them, and if we wouldn't do them?

R. I don't know how much they contribute or not, you need to see it from what is actually happening. External actions, meals? Yes, they contribute.

S. For example, meals, gatherings?

R. Yes, yes.

38. R. (01:23:56) Which depends on the person, a person, which force dominates him and there is no connection to humanity and how we are divided here upon this earth into nations and other divisions.

40. S. (01:31:37) My question is if we use the knowledge, if we concentrate on the knowledge of what we are receiving from all the connection is that more important than focusing on what I think I can give, whether it's an egoistic quality or the quality of bestowal?

R. We need to try and connect inside the group as we yearn to reach the end of correction. We have to connect between us and whatever still exists between us, thoughts, desires, forces that separate us. We respect them, meaning we pay attention to them, we don't simply erase them, but we try to connect above them, that’s the main thing. Then we derive power from them, a coarseness, mitigation, or sweetness and then we come to correction. That’s what he's trying to tell us.

41. S. (01:33:42) What is that stealing that we're stealing from the evil inclination?

R. A person, a man, rather was created in the will to receive through different actions that the Creator is organizing for us. Just like in the playground when we play among ourselves in such a way where although we are performing actions to receive, the intention to receive will gradually be inverted to the intention to bestow. This is our work.

S. In general it’s clear but specifically how do you take from this ego and mitigate it every time by passing it to the control of the Creator?

R. Any moment in your life you can do it, in the group, in anything. It only depends on how you relate to life, what are you aiming your life at. That’s it. If you will constantly think that through each and every moment I wish to be aimed at the purpose of creation, connection with the Creator then you will see that you have such moments all the time, without end.

S. Let's say I want to be aimed towards that in every moment and some ego is revealed. So by being in these thoughts I correct it?

R. Yes of course, by that you correct it.

42. S. (01:36:19) From your explanation of what we just read, if I understood who ever lived during the second temple and the shattering they had two problems. One is that they tried to connect in order to get a reward and it wasn’t in their hearts. So the shattering was when the Creator revealed their deficiencies. So my question is when we work in the group we also discover one moment that we’re not working correctly and it’s for ourselves. So each one has to go through that shattering?

R. We're already past it, it’s already been ruined the second temple in us. We are in its ruins; we are in a state where we have to build the third temple. The third temple doesn't have to be built of bricks and mortar but only out of our intentions.

S. This revelation that I am building, the connection with the friends, one moment I see even subconsciously that the connection in the ten wasn’t in the heart. It was also a revelation for me right?

R. So what? It's not important. What's important is I yearn for it, and I am in the process of advancing towards it and the Creator will finish this work for me.

43. S. (01:38:32) They asked about external actions on our path, I mean the wisdom of Kabbalah because we also disseminate, we connect the lessons, we do a lot of things. And also in that there might be some illusion that I'm sure I’m on the path. The question is how not to lose the intention in all these actions? Not to tell myself here I did something the way I should and that it won’t calm me down?

R. Doesn't matter if you do physical actions, meaning with your hands and legs or your mouth, you or you’re doing it only in your brain, your intention and inner feeling. The important thing is what are you drawn to? What are you hoping to gain by it, don't be confused there.

S. What is that gift that free gift they're speaking about?

R. The treasure of the free gift is that we don't want anything in return for our exertion.

44. S. (01:39:58) All this history of the shattering first and second temples, it comes from external connection to internal?

R. Yes, of course.

S. Specifically because of that we are concentrating only on love your friend as yourself?

R. Correct.

45. S. (01:40:35) What does it mean to take the possessions from the will to receive to the will to bestow?

R. We have one desire to receive, the intention can be in order to receive or in order to bestow. This is the meaning of going with that will to receive from in order to receive to in order to bestow.

S. What possessions is he speaking about?

R. The will to receive, I'm telling you the will to receive. That will to receive, you have it in vessels of reception and vessels of bestowal. That same will to receive that was egoistic and after the restriction, the screen and reflected light will work altruistically.

46. S. (01:41:42) What does it mean stolen water? How can you interpret that in the ten?

R. Whatever we do in order to receive seems sweet to us.
