Ibur [Impregnation] and Yenika [Nursing], #10
1. Rav’s Introduction: We need to follow, to monitor, the changes that we are going through. What state am I in when I wake up? How do I bring myself to the correct state, to the perception of reality? This is most important and it is very much like impregnation. There are different states, but usually the more a person advances when he wakes up, he sees himself as disconnected and he truly begins as if it is a new day, from disconnection from spirituality, from where am I, or what I am I. It takes time to establish himself and his outlook on the world and on himself, to have some orientation. ‘Remember’ means that the Creator brings us thoughts, and we need to see if we remember. Do we discover more and more each and every day a thought that if I want to be correctly aimed, to establish myself towards a new day, towards spirituality and reality, then first of all I have to establish my state in the group. If I am connected to them, if I adhere to them, if I relate myself to them, then bit by bit I balance myself and I aim myself correctly towards the goal. I don’t know my direction without these actions. There is something in me that feels that the Creator is not ready for me, whereas if I remember the ten, if I establish it before me so that it exists and I can adhere to it, then by that I feel that this is the right direction so that I can turn myself to the direction of the Creator and push myself in the direction of the Creator and to continue in this way.
We need to see if we have this urgency in the morning to establish ourselves this way or not. We will be closer to Ibur, impregnation as much as we feel the necessity, the urgency to incorporate in the ten. We will feel more and more that precisely it is the womb in which I can develop as an embryo, and when we develop together, we are developing inside the Creator. To the extent that we are cohesive in the ten, the small group, to that extent can we discover the upper degree above us. If I, as Malchut, connect with the friends, which are Zeir Anpin, we all together can connect to Bina. We start to discover our spiritual motion in this way. It is not yet spirituality and we haven't yet discovered the details of it, however it is already in the direction. We should detect the direction and form that we want to see in our development that day as quickly as possible when we wake up in the morning and come this way to the lesson. Not only those who get up at night or in the morning like us, let's say at 2 a.m., but also the people who are in the middle of their day, in the middle of work, and they come to the lesson. It doesn't matter. It is most important that they wake up and that waking up should be specifically in the direction of through the group to the Creator.
This way we will establish more and more ‘Israel, the Light, and the Creator is one’. This is actually the most important thing. Check to what extent we get up or wake up for the lesson, even in the middle of the day, and have no thought or no desire for it, no strength or disposition. This is what the Creator is arranging for us, so don't get upset, don’t complain that this is how I am. The more we advance the more we will wake up in greater darkness. We will wake up for the lesson, for the connection between us, in greater darkness and then we will reach a greater illumination. This is how it is, this is our path, and we should actually be happy about it. We feel how the world is continuing to deteriorate, and that will continue. I said in the past that this coronavirus doesn't just come and go away, but rather it is a sign, a very good and strong sign, of the new beginning of the correction of the world. Indeed, we should relate ourselves to that change.
The Creator is arranging these signs, and we see that they are signs for us to change and promote ourselves as much as possible, to be ahead of all these changes, and to aim and direct humanity from the path of suffering to the path of light. We have to advance, either by stings on the back or being nicely drawn forward. This depends on us. The more we see that we owe the world we will actualize the Creator’s desire and receive His help, we will be able to voluntarily advance in a way that is aware.
2. S. (08:56) How do I feel the lack of this urgency and help my friends?
R. Only by thinking about it more and more. There are opportunities throughout the day to think more and more about how we should advance toward connection between us. ‘Israel’, Yashar El, is me; Orayta, the ‘Torah’, is the light that is revealed in the connection between us; and the Creator, Kudsha Brich Hu, is then revealed. It is upon us to go from Israel to Orayta, to the Torah, meaning from an individual to the ten. We connect in heart and soul, meaning in our heart and in our mind, as much as possible, according to how much we study and are capable, to correctly organize and scrutinize our states between us: what is our present state; to which state can we advance; which steps do we have to take. We try, step after step to depict this and to see that the Creator is ahead of us and that He will pull us forward, He is awakening us through the surrounding light. This is why we have desires; otherwise, we would simply fall without any strength in any direction in our life. Just like everyone.
Specifically, we are getting an awakening from Him. Each and every moment we want to add our own awakening to the awakening that we get from Him. There is an awakening from above and an awakening from below. We need to add the prayer to His awakening, and if it is to the Creator, then it has to come from the group. We talked about the fact that we have to turn to Him and then each one adds to this. In spirituality there is no time, therefore, our lack always exists as if it is in the air and each one of us can add to it. It is not that we have to be in a certain physical area, in the same room, or to cry out, pray, and perform common actions like praying in public like some people do in different religions. No. Our deficiency exists above us and we as a group are registered in spirituality. Each one constantly adds when he can, especially during our gathering during the lesson. We have to work on that.
3. S. (12:42) Why do we move from states specifically through disconnection in the ten?
R. Because each time you are starting anew; each state is a new degree. You don't yet feel it yet, but indeed, you are awakening out of a new Reshimot, a new record, and this is good. It gives you the possibility to awaken and to scrutinize additional corrupted records and to add them in the same direction. I would wake up many times with Rabash in the same room, or an adjacent room in a small apartment, usually in Tiberias, and saw how he was getting up in a way where he was disconnected from reality, that he didn't know anything. These were the usual hours that we would get up, at that time at 2 a.m., and he was like a zombie. I don't know how to describe it. He was like a shadow walking to the bathroom and coming back, washing his hands and sitting down next to the table. There was nothing that he could say or see; he was truly disconnected. I served him a cup of coffee and bit by bit, slowly with his eyes shut, he would take the first sip and then a bit more and a bit more and like this, he began to enter thinking his internal awakening and awakened more and more. It is like when Baal Shem Tov asked his assistant to read him something because he didn't even know the form of the letters. This is how I saw him when he would wake up. Slowly, bit by bit, within a few minutes or within a half hour or maybe an hour, I could see that he would wake up and discover new things, new records, truly a new vessel. As it says ‘they shall be as new in your eyes’, therefore we need to see the difficulty in getting up and to connect with me ten, to wake up and have no idea where we are. We should have some things that help us with that.
It is most important to remember that there is a group because through the group you immediately enter your vessel, and the Creator is arranging this vessel. It could be friends who are weak and don't know much, that they don't understand, that they are asleep. But if you remember it in some form, if you prepared yourself, reminded yourself, or that you wrote it down on earlier, that the friends are saying something, then you already exist in a state where, there, you are in the upper force and there is the Creator. You very quickly then begin to wake up. We have to perform these actions artificially and very quickly will feel how it works.
4. S. (17:38) How to advance in a smooth way without disturbances?
R. A smooth way is that every moment you have disconnections, you have a sting, that you have some bright realization. This is how it always is. When you quickly find the next moment and aim it toward the goal, is considered a smooth path. It is always in opposition, in contrast, to the previous state. Like we learn in mathematics, a straight line includes points and each and every point has a breaking, a derivative, where there is a shattering, a breaking through these points, and all of them connect in a line. If one feels that at every moment, he is beginning a new, this is a good and correct sign that he is advancing correctly.
5. S. (19:46) If we are incorporating in the ten and the Creator, what is the Ibur between them?
R. Ibur is our entrance to the ten in such a way that the Creator is connecting between us. He is the glue, the upper light, which is connecting us but we don't yet feel it in a clear manner. It is connecting between us and we begin to feel that in our hearts that there is something common between us. This very first internal contact between us, this common thing, is called the vessel, and it is the very first vessel revealed on the way to Gmar Tikkun, the end of correction.
6. S. (20:55) What is the role of Malchut relative to the rest of the Sefirot?
R. To annul before the other Sefirot. Specifically, by that, it rises to all the other Sefirot, is incorporated with them, and then it reaches the Keter.
S. If Malchut is nullified, where is the bestowal?
R. Malchut annuls itself in order to incorporate with all of the qualities that are before it. It annuls the will to receive in order to receive and wants to incorporate with all the qualities before it and in this way, it acquires all of those qualities. On one hand, it annuls itself towards all of them but it is also Incorporated with all of them. This is how it happens. We need to feel the necessity for this and to actualize it, meaning in practice, the most important thing I have is connection with the friends. As it says, ‘either togetherness or death’. This is the most important thing in action, in practice, that we can do in this world. This is why the Creator created the vessel and broke it into pieces and all of us are pieces of that vessel and need to make efforts with an inclination to connect.
Of course, the Creator is the one who is connecting us, but we have to do what depends on us. It takes a lot of time until one digests this, understands this, feels this, doesn’t run away from it and takes this as necessary. We are in a state where even the great world around us is showing us there is nowhere to run and that we, and also the whole world, are in some process. Even though we study that we need to be connected, the world hasn’t learned this yet. The more we advance the more we will feel different from the world. On the other hand, we have to reach out to them and show them the right direction, that nature is integral, global and it is surrounding us and pressuring us from the outside. Because of that, we feel ourselves in the shattering and the problems out of the fact that we are broken. It is the upper light, the Creator, who is advancing and coming closer to us and He is awakening the qualities in us that are opposite to it. They become scrutinized as shattering, as a crisis, as all kinds of problems that are now revealed in general, in humanity and individually in everyone to the extent that he can aim himself toward his individual correction. Therefore, we have to intensify this matter of dissemination and explain to everyone what our good future depends on.
7. S. (25:18) If the state that we wake up in repeats itself all the time, how can we feel this as a new state and not a phenomenon that repeats itself?
R. You cannot see the difference, a person cannot, let's say a child performs all kinds of incorrect actions and he sees that the parents get upset at him, maybe they even yell at him, he doesn't know, he thinks that they are always the same, always yelling at him and they see that each time he is doing incorrect things and they have no choice but to pressure him. There is a problem here that humanity doesn't understand why we are in such states. From this side of the Creator many different manners are revealed, floods, fires, earthquakes and we will have more all kinds besides the pandemic that we will feel ourselves like a ship running away from the fire. There is a fire in the forest, everyone living in the forest, many animals from the smallest to the biggest ones, they all run away out of the forest, so this is how we are beginning to feel that this is how we exist. Unfortunately, this is how we will discover that there is one upper force here which is aiming us towards one thing even though from different directions until we will discover what is required of us and what is required of us is only one thing.
Connect between you and that same force that is operating on you. That what you feel as bad, you will feel as good. Because of your attitude toward the lack of connection between you, this attitude which now seems as bad, you can turn to good, this is how it will happen as it all depends on the measure of connection between you. The purpose of the whole path and the correction is to be corrected “as one man in one heart”, that same vessel of Adam that is broken will unite into a whole and complete vessel. Even though this is the most hated thing to us, we will have to get to know specifically that this is the purpose of the blows that we are feeling and it should be the purpose of our correction we must perform. Eventually in each and every blow we have to detect the reason for the blow is the separation between us and to the extent that we come together, this is our correction and that we need to ask of the Creator for those corrections that he will connect between us. We don't need anything other than that, the moment, and according to the measure that we connect we begin to discover the same light that is striking us, that it is not striking us but rather we feel it in this way because we are separated, broken. Through the bad feeling we reached the revelation of the good.
8. S. (29:56) You mentioned before speaking about the records and recently in English the translation has changed words to describe the Reshimot, records, what this definition is, so I have become confused by it. Can you explain what are the Reshimot and is this within our control to use it?
R. Records come from the word meaning impression or should I say inscription. What is written down or recorded from the shattering. Rav drawing We were at some height, call it Neshama, or soul. Then this soul, which is called Adam HaRishon, the upper light comes that exist on all sides, this is the Creator that is the upper light, Ohr, and it influences this vessel, the soul, the desire and it breaks the desire into many pieces and these pieces fall and fall until they reach a state where there are many individual parts and pieces because the light has departed them and then we have many pieces. The height that they fall is the height of the entire coarseness that is revealed from the coarseness of Dalet, Gimel, maybe it's better that I write 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 and zero. Those are the degrees and each one of those is divided into another five and each one into another 5 and altogether it is 125. We need to climb back up because the entire path, the entire way back you can say that we are going through it in such a way that once again we reach being as a single point, as if a single desire. This is our direction and the higher that we go, we climb on the degrees the more that we connect.
S. So our job is really to conduct all of those memories, the pieces, so the pieces are spiritual DNA that hold a small piece of memory of the greater body. Is that correct?
R. I wouldn't get into all of these calculations because I don't feel them, we need to operate where we have some orientation and what is it that we feel? We feel that we are together with a few other friends of ours that, seemingly, also want to advance toward the revelation of the Creator out of lack of choice. The revelation of the Creator can only be through a collection of us as much as we gather and connect, as much as we help one another spiritually, mainly. Then it turns out that this is our work and therefore we don't talk for the time being about spiritual discernment because we haven't discovered them, yet. Later on, we will begin to discover them and out of us beginning to discover them we will start to scrutinize and talk about them to check and study them and to work with them, in the meantime we don't have this. This is how we advance. We can talk a little bit about the desires, the records, connection, unity, the influence of the light on us and our advancement towards the light. This is what we need to do for the time being.
S. So we are not responsible for the records?
R. We are never, we are not responsible for the records as they awaken through the general light that exists which is called surrounding light and it influences us, all of us, and it awakens the entire general vessel in a gradual manner, everyone. It cannot be that someone, any one of us awakens without someone awakening in Honolulu or in Madagascar or somewhere, it doesn't matter whereas it is always a collective general awakening however it is gradually. It is over everyone. This is how the Creator sees the whole of reality. Therefore, we are seeing more than others because we have enough stronger records from the shattering, from prior to the shattering and when we awaken and when we actualize our advancement towards the Creator, by that we are also seemingly carrying behind us, giving those who have the weaker records, we are allowing them to enter in the influence of the light.
S. I'll leave it for now. I think it's confusing but important.
R. Okay.
9. S. (38:18) When do we get awakening from above and how to use it with the awakening from below?
R. We actually can always, together, if we together identify that there is an awakening from above to the extent and which we try to do acts of connection between us, we will discover that the Creator even before that did this action upon us and is awakening us to connection. That is how it is. We don't have to wait until we receive something from above but there is always room for awakening from below.
10. S. (39:31) Can we awaken the records by establishing a strong connection between us in our own desire, in our own thoughts so the records don’t harm us?
R. The records don't harm us, we need to come to a state where we desire a revelation of new records each time because they are just clothed on the degrees of corrections that bring us to the end of correction, all of the records come from the shattering, from the Adam HaRishon and all we have to do is add our desire to be in the connected vessel. If we realize this in the 10 already that we seemingly concentrate all of our records of Adam HaRishon, if I do this, I will discover in the connection in the 10 eventually that this entire big Kli is all clarified for me in the 10. This is how each and every 10 at each and every person until we reveal ourselves as connected.
11. S. (41:12) How can a person awaken himself during the disconnection?
R. He has to be responsible for rising and coming to the lesson or waking up in the middle of the day and understanding that he must clear up these times, or the middle of the night, no matter when it is. That a person is responsible and he can also turn to the group and to the 10 as well, them to him and him to them. If the group doesn't awaken even one of their friends, this is a blemish in the group and they should seek ways to awaken them. Unless to start with, he decides that he is only waking up once a week, fine, let him come like the week and besides like that, maybe he will decide to come more. We are not allowed to get rid of people like that because we are in the process towards the final corrections called the last generation but we need to awaken one another. Humanity is discovering this is a very important and dangerous process, that we are spoiled because we don't understand a tiny change in nature can lead us to a state in which we will starve, that we will be burnt up from the heat, the floods and what nature is not preparing for us that we have yet to see it all.
We will learn more and more, if it just needs to bend us there's no problem, but the Creator doesn't do that. He does it in order to teach us with which qualities, it is completely different seemingly to what He is doing as He gives us corporeal suffering. But He wants us to discover through that, by internal changes, we can rise above these corporeal sufferings so that we will build for ourselves a spiritual network above what is happening on this corporeal plane. This is how we more and more will awaken and discover what is happening in the spiritual system altogether. What is happening between us in a corporeal manner, the fires, floods and heat waves and more and more, this demands only the correct connection between us. To the extent that we incorporate more, we can soften the attitude of the Creator towards us and we will receive all of those forms in a nice way. Can't we use water instead of the floods and fires instead of the fires, even these bacteria and microbes that are being discovered we can use it all, it all depends on our attitude towards nature.
12. S. (45:36) Usually there are problems when we are in dissemination teams where we don't have friends from our 10. So, I want to ask: when these problems appear and we don't manage to disseminate because we can't reach an agreement between us as a problem of the 10 because we haven't been able to connect and this is why we can't disseminate?
R. In relation to dissemination, I can't say which way is better, I think you need to be more connected to a certain umbrella or top-down organization of writers or management in all of the different languages and you need to talk between you to translate what you are writing in each and every language so that everyone will be able to see and receive these things, or not, and how to learn from each other. By this we will have the spiritual benefits because we will advance and come closer to one another, this is what I recommend for you to do. Relative to dissemination to the external audiences, we will learn from that, but the main thing is for there to be a connection between you and in that connection, you will start to think of every one of the entire Kli, the general Kli and you will also learn how to disseminate to the closer audience in your language. Try not to close each person in his language in his country because that will cause us connection, to lead us to correction.
13. S. (48:00) What is Yenicka?
R. Let's first get to Ibur impregnation. Where you are capable of participating somewhat, yourself. Where you awaken in the upper. Where you have a mutual action with the upper, where the upper is giving you the source like the mother's breast but you are suckling the milk out with your own forces. When you know how to do that, to understand and to feel, and to execute, this is called Yenicka, which is still far we're so don't jump.
14. S. (48:53) Bnei Baruch is divided into 10s all over the world, and we try to be divided between us however there are many descents and ascents, disconnections disagreements, connection disconnection, what is considered a complete 10?
R. A Kabbalistic 10 is one that feels itself as a 10 and is in all kinds of things like you say, all kinds of states which need to take place for us and we need to desire as much as possible towards connection, renewed connection between us with all of the renewing conditions moment after moment.
S. Sometimes there are disagreements that are not simple in the 10. How to overcome, to connect?
R. These disputes come so that we will overcome and connect even more strongly, and more powerfully, meaning reach a higher degree. This is how we need to carry out this action. What is the problem? Of course, each time we discover ourselves broken, separated, hating one another wanting to kill one another. if it is a strong 10 then we truly discover hatred, beyond that as we connect as fast as possible, we discover love, hatred love, hatred love, this is how we reveal the shattered vessel and the corrected records and this is how it is to the end.
S. Until when will this continue?
R. Until the end of correction and just before the end of correction you will have such problems in the group in your 10, in your beloved 10 that is so close that you really are taking a knife and starting to think how you're going to slaughter them. Don't smile, I will remind you of this.
S. In truth sometimes, I don't know how to judge these moments. I sometimes desire, sometimes to run away because of all the disputes but nevertheless we make an effort.
R. It is just the beginning. We are very far from the actual corrections, ‘love will cover all crimes’ where love can be revealed only upon the crimes and accordingly, this against those needs to be the plus against the minus. You understand electricity means that you have a thousand volts, if you don't have something against that, opposite it. It is always like this; you have one force against the other force. This Is how the natural phenomenon takes place.
15. S. (52:33) To ask if in the 10 if there is a friend who has his own view and deliberately each time he activates the left line, that he says, ‘let's fight, let's take our gloves off’, and start getting into such things and saying bad words to the friends?
R. I would talk very simply to him that we follow the Rabash and Baal HaSulam, according to that method there is no other way, there is no other way. According to the writings we read that we need to be drawn to connection, the fact that we are constantly awakening toward the clashes, toward hatred and rejection, that is natural those are the shattered records that are revealed. But we need to try and work on them specifically to the opposite, to the connection between us and it's no wonder as I have been through this in a very powerful way, that there is great hatred and reflection from connection and there is nothing worse than connection more hated than any egoist upon anything, there is no such thing, that is what and why it stands before us as the condition, that you want to reveal spirituality you must review of disconnection upon the connection, hatred upon the love. This is why you need to tell the friend that we must enter ourselves into the process of connection, that is it all the way to love. We understand that you can't stand it as you have a strong desire and strong record, that you are big and each one is greater than his friend, his inclination is greater than him but you have no choice. We in the way that we can help you is to take a rope and to tell you, to take a piece of rag and clog your mouth so you don't speak and with another rag to cover your eyes as you have eyes that see not and ears that hear not and then we will drag you with us. If you agree with that, we will go together, if you do not agree then we have nothing to do together.

16. R. (57:07) Do you understand what he is giving up here, he is actually giving us the same conditions if we do them, we are in impregnation already. Meaning impregnation, that he passes from his own domain into the domain of the Creator. Now, he is seemingly under the domain of his desires that he canceled his control over his own desires and merges to the domain and the authority of the Creator, that which the Creator wants to let him do this with me. That is called ‘impregnation’, where he is canceled before the upper, but this is temporary because as he truly wants to cancel himself forever but he can't as this is temporary and he falls from this state and he can’t believe he will annul himself forever. He can’t depict the state where he is like that in all his thoughts and all his desires, in himself fully that he can cancel himself towards the Creator. Since he has already thought many times that it would be so but then descended from his degree and fell to the place of garbage, meaning to the authority of his own domain again.
He does not need to worry about what he will eat tomorrow or what he will have as he is not allowed, he is prohibited from thinking of the future, if he's working with the Creator there is no future, rather only the point of adhesion that he is in now. Because you will certainly fall from the degree that he is taking as it all depends on our inner decision because this comes from a deficiency of faith, what is a lack of faith, it is a lack of annulment to the Creator through the group, where else will you find a point of contact with the Creator. He must believe that the salvation of the Lord is as a blink of the eye, meaning that it is very close, that it truly stands before him. It follows that since he cancelled himself for the time being and wants to remain this way forever, it follows that he has the value of impregnation. It turns out that since he cancels himself for the time being and wants to remain this way forever, where annulled then it follows that he has no value of impregnation. Meaning, who is an embryo? One who nullifies the past, present, and future and is only in the point of adhesion with the Creator, and by that nullifies himself now and forever. Then he enters into pregnancy and this point where he cancels himself forever to the Creator, begins to develop and this is how the soul develops from this point. Then it turns out that it is constantly starting to discover itself more and more existing in the Creator, this is called that he is in Ibur, that which the Creator thinks he thinks, what the Creator wants he wants and this is how he eats what the mother eats as we call it. Like an embryo.

17. R. (01:02:46) He annuls himself for now and he annuls himself for the future and wants to remain that way forever. Then he becomes an embryo, where he annuls himself fully toward the upper, look at what Rabash writes relative to a person and the society, he leads us to a state where each one can be impregnated inside the group, where the group is the upper, I am incorporated in it and it is my place where I enter impregnation and all of us together discover that we are in the Creator.
18. S. (01:03:41) Thinking about the future is considered an egoistic calculation, is this why we are not supposed to do it?
R. Look, for the time being we operate from egoistic desires but we try through the society to raise ourselves two more spiritual decisions, to annul ourselves before the group and to conduct between us because we are implementing desires against our desire to receive slowly and gradually. Otherwise, we will not attain spirituality which for the time being is also depicted in us as a certain egoistic success. But I am willing to be in competition with others, even though I annul myself towards others that I am in competition of annulling myself, this is our nature as we still cannot emerge from our egoistic desire, slowly the upper light works on us and slowly even though we don't feel this that it cancels the egoistic calculation from light to the heavy then we begin to think differently, even though we are not so aware of it.
S. If it is so, each time we fall into this custom of calculating, will I fall or not? We have to get back to that point that we have to connect with the 10 in order to avoid it or that we shouldn't fight that?
R. You need to battle only for the connection with the 10 for you in order to bring contentment to the Creator. That in general is what I can say.
19. S. (01:06:26) Does the faith begin on the degree of impregnation or other degrees of development and from where does it take its direction?
R. Faith begins in us as a result of the influence of the upper light upon the desire to receive and then to the extent that the upper light operates on the desire to receive, the desire to receive can do actions against itself. Seemingly for the benefit of the upper light, if the upper light is more powerful than the shattered record, when we draw it and when we want it, then I want to be more connected to the upper light to bestow more than the shattered desire that is revealed in me in reception. Then I implement the desire in the record.
20. S. (01:07:55) How is it possible to feel the state of impregnation?
R. To feel the state of impregnation you can to the extent you nullify before your group like an embryo or a fetus does inside the womb, who is canceled towards the womb, as the womb is the upper which does whatever it needs for him and upon him that he has no possibility of doing anything opposite it, no feelings or intellect, no forces or resistance. That is called Ibur. If we bring ourselves to this state in the 10 or towards the Creator it is considered that we enter the embryo as a first degree in spirituality.
21. S. (01:09:07) Does only the right line work in the Ibur condition?
R. Not in the right line or the left line. We are not yet in lines. We are just in general annulment.
