Part 1:

Rabash. Article No. 31, 1987. What Is Making a Covenant in the Work?

1. Ravs introduction: Okay, I wasn't in contact with you for two days, direct connection like we are used to and I wanted to ask brief, a few minutes at most: what was your impression of being here? How did you participate in this international Congress? You want to say something about it?

2. S. (01:19) The impression is so huge both physically, all the atmosphere that we had here, I have never seen the place so full of people and warmth, internal warmth. The whole Center was just full of joy and it was natural that we were here. No, we didn't maybe ask so much and we weren't so active but it all seemed so natural. My personal sensation you just spoke about now in the summary is the sensation of the world Kli. For the first time it was really felt, what this world Kli, such a unique sensation.

R. The emphasis was on them specifically.

S. Yes.

R. Beautiful.

3. S. (02:24) A huge intensity was felt here in our Kli in Petah Tikva on annulment. We couldn’t ask questions, we couldn't participate, and it was felt in our intensity, this annulment. And it wanted to really open up our hearts and to feel the entire world Kli in all it’s intensity and it was really felt how it penetrated here, and the joy we had here between us, it was because of this force that we truly revealed the world Kli, how strong and how wide it is, and how much it wants to keep growing and expanding to the whole world and it's a huge joy. And can I also say personally, when I sat in the first lesson, I felt the world here like one ten. Usually there's some some discomfort when you are sitting with people that you are not with on a daily basis, but there was this sensation that was from the beginning of this joy, and now a lot of friends felt like this that we are all here as one, we actually had this sensation of one.

4. S. (03:54) What was said is very much correct. Me too, my family, and my friends, we felt the same. I wanted to speak about this intensity in size. Yesterday I was in the Petah Tivkah center with a Bnei Baruch logo on my shirt and somebody put his hand on my shoulder and said, “sorry, are you here from Bnei Baruch?” I said, “yes, who are you?” He said, “I listen but I am concealed in the meantime.” He said, “I am like a concealed righteous.” I had never seen this person before, he said, “I saw the Congress and it is just something huge, and I’m usually in the background. My impression here I want to say that there is a big quantity of people who hear and listen but they are not dependent, like he defined himself, as a concealed righteous.” I asked him why he doesn’t come to the Center and he said, “I had this feeling that the time hasn't come yet.” And he gave me this huge impression like he is this person that's not known to us really, but he felt it. That behind us this there is this huge concealed force that's unknown, and that is how I felt, that it is part of the world Kli.

R. That is beautiful, beautiful to hear.

5. S. (05:40) Like the other friend said, the first day already there was this sensation that we entered one Kli and there was this huge joy. I felt already in the lesson and afterwards in the meal so much upliftment and you just saw it in everybody's eyes. The next day I want to talk about that. I had a huge confusion like I didn't know where I was. The Yeshivat Haverim showed clips of you saying things that I didn't even remember. I mean, I know it's supposed to be like this. I'm just sharing this impression. Regarding concealed friends, in my work I got this client, he said to me talking to me every day about the morning lessons and I ask you why don't you come and he said, “I don't know,” just like that. So, yes, we have a lot of friends just like that who would just watch us in the meantime.

R. But the fact that you were a bit disconnected after all compared to normal participation do you feel it worked well on you it had a good effect?

6. S. (07:02) There was a huge jealousy that was generated from the hunger of the world Kli and we got this joy I get from meetings, they are not satiated, they have this urgency to pass on more to humanity and it just awakens such a jealousy from such a huge hunger and such joy from this meeting. Jealousy of others.

R. (No comment.)

7. S. (07:49) It was excellent that we were disconnected and let the world Kli operate. It was a wonderful sensation of unity and I think we need to continue it and let the world Kli operate more and us less.

R. Beautiful. Now I need to balance things out. The last two days, they were active and you were the opposite, and now we have to get back to mutual activity. I, too, felt a big change to be connected to them and disconnected from you and it worked. It worked well, it gave a feeling and new discernments. So let's continue together all of us as much as we are prepared for connection both here and those who are outside of our corporeal field and we won't forget about it.

8. S. (09:30) What is the correct balance between the Israeli Kli and the world Kli?

R. Nevertheless, the center remains at this center, at this group, because it's participating daily in the lessons, events, and physical groups who are not here and have a smaller opportunity, but we have to include them as much as possible, feel them with us as much as possible. And I saw that they are extremely well prepared, they want it, they yearn for the connection, for the complete participation. It turned out really, really well.

9. S. (10:42) This was the Asia congress and it was really felt, this new Asian Kli was really felt. It's like they brought a new type of desire that I can't remember that I felt such a thing. That I can't really define to myself what is this unique thing they bring us. It seems something a bit different than usual.

R. We have a big number of new participants, we have stages in incorporation, in absorbing the material, but nevertheless it's a great mass and I think that after the congresses this will acquire a greater intensity. We'll try to feel it and all of us together will try to build such an association. In truth what was felt in me is that there aren't that many great differences between the groups, where are they from or what continent, what nations, languages, they already participate, they speak, they are on equal footing. Okay, so let's hope that we will be able to include all those things in which we feel some change at the level of gaps and to connect ourselves even more to be “as one man in one heart.”

10. S. (13:10) I didn't feel that we were disconnected. We participated here in the Congress, it doesn't matter so much if the questions came from us. We felt that we were working and to hear that maybe we were disconnected but there was….

R. No, physically.

S. Right so it just seemed so physically. But there wasn’t such a sensation that we were disconnected, we were very active, we were participating together, and I was really happy from the level of quality, that we were all participating in the same form, in the same manner in the Congress, like in this virtual manner, among physical groups, virtual in this manner that we are all equal in our physical accessibility. It was really great to see the friends in the world Kli and by us that I didn't see for a long time. There was a sensation that our friends in a different place that you need them there, to be there, and you want to feel that they are alive, and you can pass forces, you to them, and them to you.

11. S. (14:40) That same incorporation that we speak of there were a lot of different languages but the same questions were asked, the same emotions, the same impressions we shared. I caught myself a couple of times wanting to raise my hand to ask a question, but the same question that I had was asked by different friends, in different languages. So we are all really in the same path, the same lane, and everything is connecting with both sides to one point, from all sides. That is the sensation like this, like this wrapping of the entire earth. That's what's felt.

R. Thank you, I also feel this way. Today's different, you are all sitting before me, we have a different feeling compared to yesterday and the day before, let's see how we maintain the uniqueness of everyone. Let's continue.

Reading Article. (16:20) “It is written, that you may enter..”

12. R. (40:00) A very interesting article, he is aiming us more correctly, more sensitively, more precisely, toward the Creator. Where is He hiding? How we perceive ascents and descents in order to identify Him? And, how do we come closer to Him?

13. S. (40:52) There is something really interesting here. On one hand, he said that his attitude toward the Creator is a mirror of his attitude towards him, and on the other hand he says, “I have decided to make a covenant,” but isn't that not in his hands, that he can forget about it for a moment?

R. This, too, is out of his hands.

S. So it's a bit, it's entirely not in his hands and yet he's taking this covenant upon himself?

R. That is the correct solution where he can take upon himself a certain direction in his path of development on the condition that he knows that it’s out of his hands and then both of them equalize. He's constantly certain, confident, trusting in the Creator that if he follows that direction toward the Creator, he will receive precisely those discernments that come from the Creator to him.

14. S. (42:25) In the end, the field of our work is the ten. We work in the ten. How do we make a covenant in the ten if we know that in the end only a personal example works?

R. We sign a covenant if we detect that all the actions that happened to us come to us from the Creator and that is enough.

S. How do we do this? How do I identify that it comes from the Creator and the ten?

R. There is None Else Besides Him. There is None Else Besides Him. We must accept all the actions that come to us as coming from the Creator and as much as we can annul all of reality and leave only the Creator as the One who is managing all of reality and all of it is really established, arranged by Him. In this way we advance.

S. The truth is we look back in the past, we tried all sorts of things, we tried to make a covenant, a different agreement, all sorts of exercises between us. We saw over time that it didn't work. It didn't work. You can't seem to influence the other, or obligate the other, and really all that you have left is that if you look at the ten as a system is to give it force, to give it power, to give it an example, it's the only thing. And I don't always see results in this is that really the only thing?

R. The only thing is that I am certain that what is happening to me is from the Creator. And how I need to respond is also through, all the reasons, all the causes that I feel, through them I have to arrange myself back toward the Creator, “I to my beloved and my beloved to me,” and in this way I am approaching this suitability, this fitting between me and the Creator. And I come to an understanding of the Creator. And it will work itself out.

15. S. (45:46) It is written, to make a covenant with the Creator forever, to make a covenant with the Creator forever, what is forever?

R. Forever, meaning regardless of my state, I will be connected to the Creator. Everything in me is coming from Him and everything I have is to reply and respond to His attitude to me. That is the meaning of signing a covenant.

S. And what is to answer Him?

R. To answer Him, to reply, means that what I receive and what I feel is coming from Him.

S. You spoke before about our suitability and compatibility to Him. What is that?

R. When I arrange myself as an instrument in the hands of the Creator.

16. S. (47:05) I didn't understand how a person makes a covenant with the friends, with the Creator, when you know that tomorrow his will to receive will grow and he will annul and cancel the covenant?

R. That's not important. His will to receive will nevertheless be in the hands of the Creator and he will be able to control it through the environment. That is why the fact that he is signing a covenant today doesn't merely place him in some connection with the Creator today but also gives him the path to reach adhesion.

S. What does a person get when he makes a covenant?

R. He tries to assemble his system of relationship with the Creator as there is none else besides him, the good that does good, and to maintain this relationship.

S. And what force maintains the covenant from man's side?

R. The power that allows a person to keep the covenant is something that he receives from above. He has no power. He has a decision that that is what he wants.

S. Where does a person get the force, the power each time to maintain and fulfill the covenant anew?

R. From being drawn to the Creator and getting annulled before Him.

S. Where does a person receive desire for the work when he doesn't have any?

R. A person acquires a desire for work by annulling himself towards the Creator and then through the annulment he acquires new desires.

17. S. (49:51) What does it mean a decision that, “that is what he wants?” What is he deciding exactly?

R. It's written that the decision that he wants, we want only one thing, to have the ability to choose the direction of the Creator directly and correctly.

18. S. (50:30) What is a covenant? Is it a decision, some motivation, what is the meaning of this word, covenant?

R. A covenant means an agreement.

S. Between whom and whom?

R. Between the Creator and the created being.

S. How do I know this agreement occurred?

R. Because you're doing it, you're in it.

19. S. (51:05) What covenant then do the friends need to make? What covenant do they need to make so that the Creator will participate in it?

R. If the friends make a covenant where they have to be “as one man in one heart” and in the connection between them the Creator will be revealed and will shine to everyone, it turns out that as it is written, “you have made Me,” and then it's written that the Creator is also present with him in this covenant.

S. In order to receive the forces afterwards, and then a person, I understand that this power is in the center of the ten, in the structure of the ten I understand that these forces are there and they're maintained for the person but as we learn each time, we need to rise above reason, and the fear and a lack of ability to this connection from being able to rise to the next degree the person seemingly wants the covenant on this point he will always be able to rise and return to connection with the Creator. And that's what we're looking for in the covenant and otherwise there will not be states if we could always return and we would have this confidence. So how does the Creator play with this towards us that He is this covenant towards us and yet we are seemingly free and we can fail?

R. The Creator presents to us a seeming condition for the covenant for Him and we are free to choose all the means we need to acquire and take upon themselves in order to maintain the covenant with Him, and that's our free choice.

S. Sometimes the word covenant seemingly annuls by free choice. That I'm asking not to be in free choice later? That there will be a force to obligate me above the state that's coming next? That I will be able to rise above it nonetheless? But the Creator wants me to have this free choice and then there's like this struggle here?

R. Yes.

S. And it needs to be in this balance where nobody will be able to succeed to force their will on the other? Like I want the Creator to take the reins and He wants me to take the reins?

R. This appears to us this way because the Creator is playing with us so we would feel creation from all sides, from the side of the good inclination, the side of the bad inclination, and the side of the compromises between them. We're not changing our desires, our thoughts, our qualities - we are only changing here our attitude to these forces that are all coming from the Creator, how these forces will work in all of reality.

S. From the side of the system - there is truly a need in this covenant? It's always in a covenant with us.

R. From the side of the Creator there's no problem, but from the side of the created beings, there's a great problem because the created beings are the ones who need to bring themselves closer to the covenant, to balance, to a state where they understand the Creator, and the Creator understands them, and they understand the Creator and they have a complete system with Him. This is our work.

20. S. (55:50) When we are saying that man makes a covenant with the Creator, this is an agreement between him and the Creator. From the side of the Creator there is seemingly no change in attitude. All the change is the from the side of the receivers. And so who needs the covenant - it is man. The problem is in the in the created beings and not in the system. So the problem is by us and the obligation is only what we think about ourselves, not the Creator. How do we reach a state that if we will truly reach a strong descent and we cannot fulfill our obligation - I have the impression that in such a state that Creator is not fulfilling His side as well.

R. I don't understand. We obligate to Arvut. That's what we have from the covenant, it's clear to us that in the future there will be a descent. Don't take on too many things, take only that what you want to scrutinize.

S. How, in a state of descent, can a person count on the Creator to help him somehow?

R. In the environment.

S. So the covenant between the man and the Creator or the man in the environment? Where is that covenant happening? Before whom?

R. Both the environment and the Creator.

21. S. (57:35) You see that the evil inclination in you always manages to through all these things he has also these excuses he says don't worry there's nothing else besides Him, don't worry He makes, you break the covenant, he's so cunning that you can't overcome anything that you simply are left sitting despaired, saying, well if this is 'None Else Besides Him', then do whatever you want with me, I'm just annulling through each and every state but where is the, until when and how long?

R. What are you lacking in such a state?

S. I think only the greatness . The greatness and the importance that's always the taste that disappears.

R. Meaning in connection with the friends, so what's bothering you?

S. My ego, my inclination?

R. Great, so here you've already located the goal and what's bothering you to attain the goal?

S. I read the article yesterday and my only question was how to make to see in my eyes every friend like the Rav, and if I will see the Rav,I will fight for the Rav because I have great certain greatness and certain importance. I cannot bring to the friends that same level, the same importance and greatness.

R. There is a lack of connection with the friends.

S. What to add I'm trying to invest all my all in the friends everything ask the friends they know it what is this the meaning of I lack connection with the friends?

R. It's devotion, it's true devotion, that you are willing to come to them, to annul yourself towards them, to be truly zero with respect to them, and specifically in the state you want, you can, you be capable to incorporate of everyone, with everyone because one will feel as there's a disturbance to you. Then according to this disturbance, you'll enter a tighter connection with them. You'll specifically understand that all these disturbances are only aiming you to connect with them, to adhere to them and that's how we build our common vessel.

22. S. (01:01:13 ) I want to ask about the reward he mentions here, it says that and not for her sake we aim for certain pleasure but in for her sake it's according to the measure of faith the measure of faith, and then he says here that there's a difference in the pleasure if a person serves the greatest of the city or the greatest of the state or the greatest in the world. How do we measure this manner of faith?

R. In the meantime, we still cannot. Not yet. It's not a matter of money that you can just say okay this cost me $100 or $200 and or this 1,000.

23. S. (01:02:17) He writes that on the one hand, I have to yearn for a reward which is to reveal the greatness of the Creator, that I'm serving something great and then I will be able to work and in another place he writes that I need to yearn for working without a reward, only to have the ability to work. What is the reward that I need to yearn for revealing the Creator and being able to do the work this way or without revelation?

R. You are right, that on one hand, without describing the Creator to ourselves as great we won't be able to do something for Him and only in the condition that we work for Him we can receive a reward, so how can we do this? We say that we annul to one another and thus what we need to do is to work in the environment to build in the environment the image of the Creator and out of this to make the effort to reach a state that we will receive a reward from connection between us.

S. Ultimately the reward has to be revelation, revelation of love, revelation of the Creator. I don't need to yearn for concealment, I need to yearn for revelation?

R. The reward needs to be my ability to bestow to the great Creator.

24. S. (01:04:15) How can we imagine the greatness of the Creator and how can we depict it?

R. Out of the greatness of the society, you have no ability to put together some greatness of the Creator out of what.

S. How is working for the Creator different from working for a millionaire or some important politician?

R. It depends, what a person appreciates in his life, if one appreciates money in his life then he works for whoever has more money, for honor, power or knowledge, accordingly one chooses their host.

S. We always depict the reward but this reward in spirituality?

R. Spiritual reward is that I will reveal the Creator as the one, singular, unique force that operates in everything and what I lack is only His appreciation that I'm working only for Him.

25. S. (01:05:51) You told us about your daily schedule, which is made out of habits. You get up in the morning, you walk and you do all kinds of actions, repeated actions and I wanted to ask if creating habits is something that is helpful for maintaining the covenant?

R. Yes, of course. A person is built in such a manner that according to his habits it changes his reality.

S. How do we build a habit in the right way?

R. By force, by convincing, by pressure from the environment.

S. Oftentimes we try to build a habit which is difficult, is it a good idea to start from easier habits but start them consistently?

R. Yes.

S. What is it in the habit, some action we do in the Ten where we take responsibility and it becomes a habit, what actual power exists in this habit, what's the added value over time?

R. The habit is good in this that you don't have to waste powers on it.

S. What does it give us?

R. It gives you the opportunity to fulfill and take care of those actions and before hand you used to do it by effort and now you do them out of habit.

S. Does it allow you to get rewarded without exerting too much effort?

R. Let's say.

26. S. (01:07:46) We see the kids who have no problem making promises and the older person gets he understands life and he understands that he needs to be careful about what he promises, he takes things more seriously. The more we advance on the path we discover that it's very difficult and it's really nothing to give we come before the Creator and that's my question when a person feels like he's got nothing to promise the Creator and he's in a point where he cannot come and promise one thing or the other or another at this point what is he actually bring to the Creator?

R. Whatever he is capable of, whatever he is capable of bringing.

S. Can we say that the request is what we bring to the Creator?

R. Look what he feels, that it's the sweetest, that it's the best, that's what he brings the Creator like a baby or a little child right, that if he takes out some candy from his mouth and he tries to give it to you, that's the sign that he loves you.

S. Now he spoke of some reward that if we keep the covenant there's a reward in it. What should we imagine or what should we assume might be the loss if we don't keep it, is there a loss?

R. The covenant is the same, it's evolving upon which we need to hang ourselves on until we rise to the height of the Creator.

S. How is that loss felt when I couldn't keep the covenant even before the friends, what is the feeling of loss I should come to?

R. I have no connection, I have no connection with the friends, I have no connection with the environment with the group.

27. S. (01:10:45) You said at the end of the article that we will be able to take a lot from it. Can you elaborate on it, what this article has we can extract many things from this article that are important, what does it mean?

R. Slowly, gradually we're going to do it but I don't want to share questions among you, the questions need to be born and heard out of you.

S. If both of them have a barrier between them they take upon themselves now to never separate from another but to remember the covenant they made and by that they will have the ability to make the covenant meaning they're going over the separation that was created between them, the question is during the time of the separation or the barrier what needs to happen in order to get through that separation? How long does it last before we get to  the connection again?

R. For separation they have no forces, they have no vessels, they don’t. They don't have any forces to pass the separation, so it turns out for all the states that we can advance in them. Let's say that there is a part in them that is felt and would be able to pass it by our methodical work between us and between the friends. Then there's a part that we won't be able to go over them to pass them in our ordinary work. How we understand it rather than what we need rather we need to go through them in what's called faith.

28. S. (01:13:06) It says here that the covenant is when you lack the desire to work and then nevertheless, in spite of this, you work as if the covenant is what raises you above the state of the person. How should we build the state so that it will be above our current state and flex our responsibility so we will be able to work without any connection to having a desire or not?

R. There are two matters here, one is that we can reveal that to correct the state is urgent and necessary for us, and the second thing is that either we we are incapable of revealing that it's urgent, we cannot connect or that it does or does not belong to us or not and here pertains the matter of faith.

S. Faith after all is something that comes from me, something that I can build, what is it from the side of the Creator? What's His side in this covenant?

R. From the side of the Creator is that the Creator forms this ladder for everyone and we climb this ladder and I need to make the effort to be all the time more in higher degrees of the ladder.

29. S. (01:15:09) I don't understand what the matter is reward or not reward or covenant as if their Creator needs a covenant from somebody waiting for him to request, you don't come out of this prison in the end, you're already always in a prison.?

R. Don't say prison, say kindergarten, it will be easier for you.

S. What do you do when you feel that you're some pawn in their playing with you above your head?

R. But there's no choice in order to teach you what the upper system is, where the Creator is and controls everything, then all your advancement towards there is through exercises and games.

S. What is He teaching me that he'll never get out of this prison and you'll work this stinking work?

R. You're not in a prison, you're not yet. You don't yet feel the limitations upon you. Gradually and slowly, slowly, we try to put our heads down and as we bow our heads we learn what the Creator wants from us in each and every state.

S. I mean that so there's this game and we're playing it, so what's the stage that you come out of this game even if you ever do?

R. We come out of this game and many friends have already come out of it and it's to their merit.

S. If you feel that you're like a pawn in a chess game, you're a typecast and you're going to remain in that layer wherever you were born. You will know where you're going to end, you know your place in the world?

R. Your place in the world, you need to discover, specifically through all those exercises that come upon you nothing happens to you that is just like that and is not related to your development.

S. Even that I'm being played with above my head?

R. Of course, in order to grow you that needs to be done. Te forces of nature are so that it's the Creator all together. that arranges for you the whole system and the cases that you go through inside the system. it's all so that you will rise above the system itself and will be able to understand the whole Battlefield and then the field of connection the field of unification.

S. Why when you're saying this it's not enough so you'll find that field what's next? Right, left ,it's a prison. They're both a prison, it's just not written about it, what's next.?

R. Above this is for you to rise above these two forces and be in connection with the Creator. This is actually the result, why doesn't it seem that way to you?

S. Because you don't come out of this pyramid?

R. You don't go out so what who told you that you can be above the created beings?

S. Not above equal?

R. Nice, that's something that you will get to.

S. You just said pyramid?

R. No no, you will discover that you will have a respectable place there and that you can be in adhesion with the Creator and in adhesion between you, you express actions that no one else can do. You are acquiring your point of the heart and you're responsible for that and from that, you control everyone and sustain and observe everyone.

30. S. (01:20:29) After the evening, we had a Yeshivat Haverim. It was very uplifting and I heard the friend speaking with excitement about society and the greatness of the state that we're in. What he did before and what made him leave, gave a lot of inspiration?

R. That's the same friend we're talking about.

S. Similarly yeah, what he did yesterday towards the importance of the goal and the past that's what strengthens our feeling of the covenant?

R. What strengthens the covenant between us we can through all kinds of feelings as long as we join all those cases together and a good salad comes out of it, we need to connect all the forces in us and in nature and with all those forces we will succeed, because above us there is only the upper light which arranges for us the right connection.

31. S. (01:22:07) When we're in a descent, what can we do in order to remember that and strengthen our covenant that we did with the Creator?

R. If we are in a descent, a fall, the best thing I can do is to give coffee out to friends. Such kinds of things that for sure I will do meticulously for each and every friend according to what his taste is. I will lower myself before him through this action and will do it towards all the friends. From this, we start.

32. S. (01:23:00) They don't always have an opportunity to be in a physical interaction with the friends they meet every few months in a congress. How can friends in a descent strengthen their covenant?

R. In truth, I don't really know their questions I know an our lessons the Turkey group and several Turkey groups and at least each time there's several groups from Turkey as guests I'm very happy to see them, that's it try and be connected with them, besides that someone has an opportunity, then jump to here sit here for a week that will give them an even greater possibility to connect and understand I will be happy to see that.

33. S. (01:24:20) Can the covenant soften our falls on the spiritual work?

R. Of course, of course, in the covenant we can first of all fly upwards and not fall downwards, and to make all the descents into ascents.

34. S. (01:24:49) It says that the barrier from here and the barrier from here that separates. The question is, why does the state of separation take a long time for it to change?

R. Look, all in all our work is upon the desire to receive and what's special about this work is that I don't know all the depth and all the manners in the will to receive. I can't rise above it to use it for the sake of the spiritual ascent. Hence, it turns out that our ascents are not so easy. But nevertheless, that's the work.

35. S. (01:26:05) If something in man's work can you shorten that time of separation? There's a long time of separation that's revealed in the work that we do. Can we affect that time to make it shorter?

R. Yes, sometimes we see that we enter into some state and it is prolonged and extends and it's truly takes out all of your nerves on it and sometimes it goes by like a second, and it's hard for us to give a mark to a state that extends for a very long time and what does it do in us compared to a state that went by like a shadow and did something in us and we are reminded of it for a very long time and for many times. This is something we still can’t appreciate. But we are advancing towards this already. I am already hearing that it is wanted to be known, but we cannot yet hear the answer.

36. S. (01:27:31) What does it mean to break the covenant?

R. To break the covenant, we don't have a covenant yet for us to discover what it is for us to breach or break the covenant. The breaking of the covenant is that we had a certain connection and by it we could have reached common work to a certain spiritual concept and now because this covenant was breached then also the attainment by it disappears.

S. Rabash writes that when you're signing the covenant that's when the work of ascents and descents starts and you have to follow faith above reason and so on. What is it actually when a person goes through a descent how does he not break all of those vessels? How can he stop? He writes here in the last sentence, he takes himself above reason that even should a time of descent come.

R. The Creator is supervising it and the covenant is in the hands of the Creator, it's just that a person needs to know and be in a state that he is in all the states ready for the covenant.

S. Your war is always on the connection of the friends?

R. Through the friends to the Creator.

37. S. (01:30:03) The Creator and man, they sign the covenant as equals? When we sign the covenant so man and the Creator sign on it as equals?

R. I can't answer because there's a question, what means equals and not equals.

S. I want to feel the mutuality in the covenant.

R. The commitment?

S. Yes, that mutual commitment.

R. With the commitment a person here needs to fulfill only a very small part and the rest is on the Creator because all the forces, movements, qualities are in the hands of the Creator and the Creator commits only under the condition that a person will sustain hold on to this covenant.

S. When man depends on the forces he gets from the Creator that doesn't break the equality between them?

R. No, no, no, there are never any inequalities. Rather each takes upon himself what he has upon himself that is called equality. That's also in this life, one takes a suitcase with 100 kilos and another 100 grams, but it's considered that both of them are in mutual work. Because the forces that they received came from above, that's why no one makes the calculation of how much of a hero or how strong he is because I received that from above we check it according to the desire and the desire not by the pounds or kilos of the load but rather according to the inclination towards participation, we see in children that sometimes they want to participate and to push themselves to some work to some kind of work, that's important.

38. S. (01:32:35 ) Sometimes this tendency can cool down that in the Tens we have a connection between the friends but sometimes you feel that it cools off it's not that we don't love each other but the feeling is that now that there is a bigger distance, so how to bring this tendency this yearning in order for it to not cool down?

R. When it's being chilled down it's only a sign from above that you need to add.

S. But how to add because this cooling down is on that addition is to connect more it's to take more forces from the friends?

R. So that's how you feel that you have something to add at, that it's on you.

S. What's revealed in me is the distance this barrier, how do I take this separation away?

R. You cannot.

S. So what?

R. First of all, don't be like a Don Quixote that's battling against windmills and against disturbances. You need to pray.

S. This chilling down that's towards the friends and the friends are the ones that give me the greatness and the importance of the Creator that I can really ask of him and he will give something. There is a feeling that in that state there is no ability to move or ask, there's nobody who can answer, so where can we bring this tendency into the connection through the friends and how do you find the opening?

R. Only between the friends if we can get support only through the friends, only with the friends.

39. S. (01:34:44) The difference in the intensity between every friend like you said one friend can hold a lot the other is weaker so it's according to the inclination that the difference is he is greater than his friend his inclination is greater?

R. That's on one hand, on the other hand, the inclination is not enough.

S. What discerns between the intensities?

R. As much as that desire can take out and aim him towards the specific goal.

S. In our reality there's, let's say, a sack that can hold a half a ton of rice but it won't be able to hold 2 liters of water. There's a difference in the form, the quality?

R. The way it's adapted between the light and vessel.

S. Is there a difference between us that one can hold water and the other can hold rice? Is there such a difference between us between one and the other ? Or are we all like jugs of wine, one is 3,000 and one has two?

R. We have both this and that.

S. What I'm trying to understand is, do we have differences between our vessels and what type of light a friend can sustain?

R. Yes, in quantity.

S. Every friend has to be included in everything, right?

R. Yet.

S. How is it expressed in a person that he was a certain type of vessel and how does he now take the friend's vessel and become also that vessel? What is he now?

R. He starts developing in him, in those qualities that were not developed earlier and now he is developing them and completing.

S. These qualities become a part of them and he feels that he is all the types?

R. Yes.

S. Because you can think that he can connect something in him and he's external and together they can become a vessel?

R. It's not important how you talk about\ it. The truth is, that everything then becomes as one.

S. Each one feels that they are everything?

R. Yes.

40. S. (01:37:23) I heard that the Creator commits under the condition that man sustains the covenant, so what does it mean that a man will sustain the covenant?

R. That a person on his behalf is concerned with the complete vessel and then the Creator is concerned with how to bring the complete vessel to the correct form.

S. What's a whole vessel, a complete vessel?

R. That everything joins, that everything that can join the connection, now it's joining.

41. S. (01:38:27) What is the covenant for if it keeps breaking?

R. The covenant is that condition that exists and is constantly changing around which there are connections between the created beings and the Creator, and certainly this vessel is constantly changing. It's not permanent. We want to develop it as much as possible with details and individuals from the will to receive to enter this covenant and we need to raise this covenant to the mountaintop.

S. These failures it's when a person wakes up in the morning and has an ascent and he commits but then after a day or half a day he falls again?

R. All right we need to make it new everyday.

S. The failures bring a person to prayer, but I don't understand what's the essence of the covenant?

R. The essence of the covenant is for a person to constantly yearn for a connection with the Creator and to complete for him the place of the created being.

S. When I look at certain friends I see that they are constantly working, so it means that they don't keep the covenant that they don't have any contact with the Creator?

R. No, you will see soon that we are going to a stage at a different stage now, a very serious one, and you will feel the extent in which you are in practice ,in excitement and inspiration and advancement.

43. S. (01:42:05) It's not easy to hold on to the covenant, there's difficult moments and the question is to strengthen in the covenant everyday, does that strengthen my faith?

R. Yes, the covenant is the most important central point within which I bind myself with the whole group, even with the whole world Kli. In such a way, as I'm strengthening the covenant day after day, I am advancing.

44. S. (01:43:13) The covenant is made for us to help each other. In other words we remember that we have faith and in the importance and the greatness of the Creator so we can remind each other that all the time, no matter what?

R. Yes, you said it correctly.

45. S. (01:43:47) One of the questions was who we’re signing the covenant with the environment or the Creator. But my question is, the moment a person starts ascending spiritually, does that difference become smaller and smaller and then he reaches a state where the Creator and the environment are the same right?

R. Right, correct.

46. S. (01:44:21) It's not so clear where the group is, after the feeling of the covenant?

R. The whole group is in the point that connects the group with the Creator.

47. S. (01:44:54) I can't understand how a person, with his heart and mind in the hands of the Creator and the obstacles. I don't know if he's going to pass the obstacles, the Creator decides it also how can a person silent anything?

R. A person signs that he wants to enter into a covenant with the Creator without any conditions on his behalf.

S. What does that mean on behalf of man to enter a covenant? What is he committing? What is he promising the Creator?

R. He's promising to the Creator his participation as much as possible.

S. How do we sign, how does a person know if he signed or not?

R. He feels everything in the relations, signings, meanings, attainments, achievements means that it is all inside the system between the person and the Creator.
