1. Rav’s Introduction: This is actually the most important topic as it is a summary of all of our lessons this far. As we see in this world the entry to Ibur, impregnation, as we call it, is the very first degree, the first state by which we go through from this world to the feeling of the spiritual world. For thousands of years we have been in this process of entering impregnation, conception. Each and every generation begets the next generation and we still have many questions and we don't quite know what it depends on. Do we have luck or we don’t have luck, success or no success, is it going to be a boy or a girl? Which qualities will it be born with? We don't know any of this for certain as these things are hidden and they're all beyond the state. There is something from above which determines if there will be impregnation or not, that is, the entrance to the new state, the new world. If it will be, what will it be, a boy or a girl? The Kabbalists ask if he will be righteous or wicked, wise or a fool, etc. It is worthwhile for us to scrutinize the meaning of the entry into the spiritual degree. There is a disconnection between the two worlds, the corporeal and the spiritual, and this disconnection, nevertheless, is also a gate from this world to the spiritual world. How do we cross it? How can we prepare ourselves for this? What precise qualities do we need to prepare to disconnect from this world and to enter the next world? This is what we need to scrutinize first of all. How do we do this, how do we help one another, etc.? Let's get into it. There will be many questions and I am willing to answer them. This is a topic that truly in practice has to do with the new world. What we have been studying so far about entering the spiritual world has not been to the point. We have always chosen topics that truly were important but this is already a new state, that is, we are beginning to touch the spiritual degree, the first spiritual degree. How do we prepare ourselves for this transition, how do we actualize this transition, and begin to exist on the spiritual degree? What is upon us to do? What has to change within us? It is worthwhile to feel and scrutinize this, and write down to keep it, and to do it.

2. R. (05:20) This means the beginning of the Ibur, impregnation. Sometimes this is not a simple thing in this world and in Torah we read that all of our mothers specifically, all had a hard time conceiving, impregnating. Why and what for? We will learn as we read about all of this as it is explaining to us precisely about the difficulty in entering the first spiritual degree. The focal point in the work of the Creator is the first footing in this work, in spirituality.
3. S. (06:28) Our path works from the light to the heavy, the first point is the most difficult. How does this work?
R. Yes, usually the more that we develop the more we understand and feel what we have to do, but it doesn't mean that it becomes easier to do these things. Rather, the person has to annul himself and to show himself as nothing, zero, towards the Creator in order for Him to perform spiritual corrections upon him is greater and greater.
S. So it's seemingly more difficult on one hand, but on the other hand there's more experience?
R. Experience doesn't quite help. Experience? True, but each time there are states that are so different and new that even though the person has experience and it says that “there is none as wise as the experienced” one, however it doesn't really lower the heaviness, the effort of the spiritual degree that a person has to acquire each time.
4. S. (08:16) When I see the friends as greater and feel that they are giving me a lack, a deficiency, and I see that I can't make efforts like them does this mean the entry into the next spiritual degree?
R. We are going to read a few more excerpts and then you will understand what this is about. The most important is the annulment of one's existence. A person has to annul oneself entirely in order to enter the spiritual work. It is truly hard work and great effort the first time that he does it and it's unclear how and in what way until he does it. This is the main difficulty, to annul before the upper one just like the drop of semen in the womb.
We have to understand it is not just a drop. The same person annuls himself completely and then he becomes as a drop of semen and then the upper one works on him. He is constantly annulling, annulling, annulling himself and to that extent the upper one can work on him to give him a shape and form of the embryo more and more. This is how it is until the end of correction. However, in all kinds of different states and conditions of Ibur, Yenika and Gadlut on each of the 125 degrees from birth until the end of correction, nevertheless this is the work.
Entirely all of the work is in annulment, therefore, here, for the very first time we are attempting to find what annulment means. R. This is what we are going to study and we can explain it with one word. Annul the ego. What does it mean that I annul it? The Creator created the evil inclination and I can cancel it, revoke it? Rather, I can rise above my ego through a force that I get from above, from the Creator. I can tell the Creator to do with it whatever is necessary. Even though it is all me, do whatever is necessary. Only in such a way is how it will happen
S. How will we incorporate in such a way?
R. We will talk about it. You can't ask all of the questions all at once all the way to the end of what to do. We will talk about it.

7. R. (13:24) This means that the most important is not that we rise on the degrees but rather to what extent we are adhered to the Creator and that state we get from Him. If, in that state that we get from Him, we are able to be in adhesion with Him and it doesn't matter to us what the state is, we just want to stay in it for eternity, this is enough in order for us to be in adhesion with the Creator.

8. R. (14:50) This means that we do not have to measure our state through its height, no, but only to the extent that we are able to annul ourselves. If I annul myself, my existence, and whatever I am in, then I am already in adhesion with the Creator and I am constantly thinking only about how to be in adhesion in that state that I am in. It is not required of me to do anything else. This is why our work is actually not so difficult. Even though I don't understand precisely where I am right now, even though I don't quite yearn for some great goals in my mind and my heart but rather I just have to add one thing to that state. I don't want anything more except to be adhered to the Creator in that state. Specifically not to ask for any change in the state but only an addition of adhesion and that to feel that I am in the best possible state because I am getting it from the Creator. I don't want any Gadlut, greatness, or adulthood, I don’t want anything besides only one thing that I don't want to move from that state but rather just to discover in that state my hold on the Creator.
The spiritual ascent begins here. If the Creator changes the states, He changes, them. I, on my own, do not need to change the state except for one thing: to be adhered to Him. I don't determine which states He is taking me through, I just want each and every thing to be adhered to Him. It is like a baby or an embryo that annuls itself inside of its mother, or a baby in the hands of its mother, holding onto her being completely attached to her and only in that does it see its life and existence. That is the only thing that we think about and nothing else. In that way we advance. The Creator changes the states and we just want to discover our adhesion with him in each and every state.
9. S. (18:18) How is it possible for something to shine forever? What is the condition for it to shine forever?
R. This is the matter of annulment to the extent that I annul myself completely. Then I enter eternity, there only the Creator dwells. That is all.
10. S. (19:16) In our self-annulment, where do we become like light, like the Creator?
R. I don't understand what you are asking, I don't understand these definitions.
11. S. (19:56) What is this state of eternity in corporeality and in spiritual work?
R. Eternity means I annul myself from demand for changes but rather only for adhesion in that state that I exist in. Most important is to be adhered to the Creator and from that, I begin to feel eternity and wholeness.
12. S. (20:42) I understand that limiting myself in every state we relate to it in an equal way because we understand where we see two branches splitting we see beyond it the trunk from which they came and we understand that they are holding on to that? Is it right that we understand all the contradictions are only from our point of view and we need to adopt the higher level of connection?
R. No and No. I'm telling you to arrange your question before you ask.
13. S. (21:37) What discernment of adhesion doesn’t make it so I can change the state to remain adhered?
R. I want to feel only one thing: that I am adhered to the One who is performing the action and it doesn't matter to me which action He is performing. I seemingly annul my criticism of my examination of my states that I am going through and I just want to be adhered to the One who is doing it. I want to discover that force that is doing it and to be adhered to it. Again, like a baby who holds onto the mother's hands and nothing else matters to him. Nothing. If he is holding her hands that is his whole world.
S. If it leads me to do a certain action how can I be certain that I am adhered to Him during the action and nothing else?
R. You have only one thing: to annul yourself until we reach adhesion.
14. S. (23:03) Is annulment before the friends adherence to the Creator?
R. There are friends in the group and there is the concept Hakolel / totality, the sum total, of all of the friends. When we reach adhesion with all of the friends it is the Creator. We cannot attain Him in any other way. The Creator is called the “totality”. By ourselves we cannot attain it or feel it as it is beyond our senses. As much as we attain the friends and we want to be adhered to them, as much as I want to be adhered to the friends, all in all the sum total of my adhesion with the friends, there I attain in sum total my connection with the Creator.
15. S. (24:28) What is the difference between Katnut and Gadlut?
R. We will learn the difference between Gadlut, greatness and Katnut, infancy, smallness. For the time being there is no question or word about it, only about internal and non-internal adhesion.
16. S. (25:06) What is annulment? Do I ask for it? Do I do it or does the Creator do it for me?
R. The Creator, the upper one, always does this, but it is according to the request of the lower one. If it is according to the request we say that the person did it, that he seemingly annulled himself. He can't perform any movement but the fact that he asks to annul himself, his existence, his self, it is considered that he is doing it, but of course, certainly, it is always the upper force. The actions, the changes are only out of the upper force. He does that.
17. S. (25:51) Do we actually need to grow our yearning to reach adhesion?
R. We will scrutinize these things as there are many questions from the very beginning.
18. S. (26:23) Do we speak to the Creator and annul through our desire, our intention? How do we speak with Him?
R. Good questions but we're asking about things that we haven't even gotten to yet. It's impossible to understand the question and impossible to answer it yet because we don't have enough materials.

19. R. (27:56) We learn from our life that an embryo in its mother's waters eats what his mother eats. It is not asked what it wants or what it does not want. The corporeal embryo cannot see what we see but rather it is inside of the womb and it annuls itself entirely before the upper one. Nature does it. But with the spiritual embryo, we have to do these things by ourselves. He writes when it annuls its whole existence and being and there's no control, then it’s will to receive has no power. Only then does one enter the Kedusha, Ibur, impregnation, conception. That is the condition to enter spirituality.
The person completely, entirely annuls himself. There is no choice, these are the laws of nature. If you want to pass through to the spiritual reality, the higher reality, we have to go through the annulment of ourselves, each and every one of us and then we will enter Ibur, impregnation. We will then have to enter ourselves more and more and more in the nine months of pregnancy, until we completely annul ourselves upon the entire great will to receive that is revealed gradually in each one of us and in all of us together. We then reach the end of correction.
20. S. (29:56) How to ask the Creator to make me an Ubar, an embryo, in the mother’s womb?
R. You make an Ubar, an embryo out of yourself. If you completely annul your ego and you are adhered to the group, you bring yourself closer to that state called Ibur. There is nothing unclear here. The problem is just to do it and that depends upon the person and on the environment. If we all decide in the group that each one wants to annul himself for the purpose of connecting together as “one man in one heart”, then this first connection between us in the group that we will perform is called Ibur, conception. We enter the process of conception and in that we are called Ubar, embryo. What does Ubar mean? Ten egoistic desires that have annulled themselves and above their annulment they have connected through the upper light, truly still in zero, and still can't do anything out of it, they just have annulled themselves. Already they are called ‘the drop of semen’ that exists inside of the Creator, inside of the womb. The Creator is Bina and this is how we begin to develop.
21. S. (32:07) What does he have to bestow upon?
R. I don't know what you're asking exactly. How can we bestow? We can bestow contentment to the Creator. By making an Ubar, an embryo out of myself, I prepare myself to be greater and greater to receive from Him in order to bestow.
S. That is the first entry into spirituality?
R. Yes.
22. S. (32:57) What has to happen for a person to nullify himself completely?
R. You still need to scrutinize what it is you have to annul. It happens when a person wants to connect with the friends according to how Rabash writes and then in this process he begins to feel how he is coming closer to spirituality.

R. It is not for now.

25. S. (37:30) Is annulling and agreeing to annul the same action?
R. Agreeing to nullify? I don't know, it's not annulling yet. It is still agreeing to but nevertheless, it is on the way. Nullifying is, in practicality, a clear condition of what it means to nullify before a certain condition and then he annulled himself. Meaning the work on the will to receive at a certain height in a certain form and shape and then he annuls himself. How does he nullify? He asks the upper for the upper to nullify for him the control of his will to receive in him. The person is not capable of doing anything on his own but this request is a very important and necessary request.

When each one in the group understands and is convinced that this is how we need to relate to the words and what is happening to us in life and between us, and all of these actions we need to carry out between us. We have nothing to do towards the Creator, as He is not the one with the lack, only towards the ten. If we observe our connection between us in such a way, then accordingly, we enter into Ibur, Yenika, etc. This all takes place relative to the ten until the end of correction where we reach the complete adhesion between us and accordingly with the Creator who is between us.
S. Sometimes the Creator confuses us. He gives some of the friends a good feeling and others a bad feeling. How will we not allow the Creator to confuse us?
R. We have nothing we can do about that. You feel that he is confusing you, others feel that He is beating them, that he is not giving them into the work that He is distancing between you. That is each and every one the way he feels. You need to understand that connection between you to the first point, in that point of connection, that’s called Ibur altogether. It is very simple. If all the ten, or as much as you are in the group, connect together, you bring forth and cause Ibur, impregnation, as much as you connect. You don't need anything except for this, meaning to be connected together. Then, by this, you invite the reforming light. It connects you and you begin to already exist, not each apart but altogether to grow in a certain composition, a certain assembly, together which is already called the group, Ubar, embryo. This is what we need. The future spiritual Partzuf.
27. S. (42:32) When I come to annul myself to become complete with the friends, which aspects do I hold higher in my approach to the friends?
R. We read many materials about this and I can't even arrange them now in such a way that what we need to increase and what we need to heighten, on the contrary diminish, I don't know. All together we need to be connected as one man and one heart in the connection between us and there in this connection between us we will discover our first spiritual state which is already the appearance of the Creator in us. Although we don't attain him in a clear manner as we are not capable of giving him certain discernments, just like the embryo in the mother's womb. What does he feel, that he's alive already? He is living from spiritual forces to the extent to which one cancels himself towards the Creator than the Creator can start to work on him, it is not that the Creator is not working on him prior to that also but now it comes with the agreement with the group that makes of itself that. Then it turns out that the group, on one hand, is the Creator. On the other enter into a certain tandem work, a common work and begin to support one another and then they start to pass information and feelings to one another “I to my beloved and my beloved to me” is all spoken on behalf of the group, from the soul to the Creator and from the Creator to the soul. This is all built upon complete perfect annulment where you don't want anything not past present or future, nothing you simply want to be in adhesion. Connection to the Creator means that we are connected between us as much as possible, we never attain the Creator that is the general force that clothes us according to these states and efforts that we make.
28. S. (45:30) What is the relation between awakening the dawn and annulment, how do we awaken our advancement?
R. To the extent and which we nullify before one another we advance as this is the form of the advancement of an embryo. Because to the extent that we nullify the Creator can bestow upon him more and more and it turns out that the embryo to the extent he cancels himself advances day after day throughout the whole nine months of impregnation.

S. Whatever is happening is for us to grow stronger in being in that state of the desire of the friends?
R. Yes, everything is only to come to a decision that we can't do anything except for nullifying before the Creator through the friends and this annulment needs to be extended more upon all of those conditions that have been revealed in the group, in the connection between you. This is how we grow and this is as much as I annul myself I grow, meaning that the Creator feels that desire which I annulled from my control and then the Creator controls it. That is how the embryo grows inside the spiritual world.
S. This means that if I understand correctly at the very moment that we annul ourselves before the friends then the Creator starts to work on us
R. Certainly correct.
32. S. (50:46) What is the constant request that we need to have?
R. To cancel oneself before the upper which is the group and the group needs to constantly scrutinize how it is canceling itself each towards the others because the Creator is always concealed. Then as they place between them in the center of the group the form of the group towards which they cancel themselves is considered that they are nullifying themselves before the Creator.
33. S. (51:48) Can you say that annulment means that I annul my part called the body and my part called the soul?
R. I wouldn't say it that way, we don't have the soul yet we are letting the upper build all of these things, our goal now is to understand where we are and what we need to do so that the upper will make an embryo of us. So that we will finally unite to our first connection which is called a drop of semen that will begin to develop inside the Creator, our upper always and this is how we develop. To do all kinds of ways, it is best to talk in a general way and to speak in a clear manner.
34. S. (53:13) When we scrutinize emotionally and intellectually how do we combine this to be in annulment?
R. Our entire goal is to come to a desire to cancel ourselves and to that extent we let the Creator work upon us and to make us in the form of an embryo. Altogether what He does, he does to aim us and connect us as one body and as one man in one heart to a certain extent, of course, even the smallest, but when He can arrange these things we begin to feel that we are becoming a spiritual body. That we are in the Creator and He is bestowing upon us and we begin from that to advance.
S. What are we conceding in order for him to work on us? What do we have to give up on?
R. Each his ego and his individuality.
35. S. (54:54) Conception we will always be above reason even though we can gather many reasons why we should reach it. There will always be some part of me that is against it and this is great because it makes an eternal loop of deficiency, is this the right connection to make?
R. Let it be that way for the time being, yes.
36. S. (55:33) How do I feel the desire of my friends?
R. Through the efforts.

R. Then from that he builds from himself a desire which is made up of let's say ten desires and the upper light the Creator can bestow upon him, I start to work with Him.

(01:03:45) In these efforts it says here each time it raises more and more of our desire to receive, increasing it, in this part he asks, should we understand what he is and that it's not just in my power in that moment that he defeats each time and we have to attribute it to him that he's bringing us to a higher state?
R. Yes, correct. You said it nicely.
44. S. (01:04:45) Where does this force for annulment come from?
R. From the Creator, it is the force of bestowing. If we make room inside of our desire to receive in some area, as if I don't exist there. I want to be fully cancelled towards the upper force and then the upper force, the upper light works upon me and begins to purify and clean up the area from the egoistic desire and to build from it what we call an embryo. That is, that I am already in that place, in that desire just that I was prior to that in order to receive, now I am in order to bestow.

R. After I completely cancel myself I want only one thing: that the Creator will control me in the way that he wants to, that I am nullified. R. R. Of course, I want to advance towards a greater action of bestowing on my end. I want to grow but in what way and what will the Creator do is not important to me, only to grow, to take myself out of managing my progress only the upper light, annulment is the action that is required of me.
50. S. (01:25:03) How do I recognize the mother, what is the womb in this process?
R. The womb in this process is the group where I reside and grow and the same for each and every one of us.
51. S. (01:25:43) Do external factors help to enter the embryo state?
R. That is not good, that is like in our life that you can influence the pregnant woman and God forbid, cause some harm to the developing embryo. We need to make certain that the connection in the group will be so powerful that no external forces will be able to separate us in this 10, in that this embryo is developing, that it is in conception that it grows stronger and stronger and that there is a connection between us.
52. S. (01:26:49) What exactly am I annulling, what is left of me?
R. I cancel my ego where it doesn't matter to me what the Creator does as it is all for the better and I want to be connected with all of my friends more and more in every state.
S. What is to cancel the ego?
R. That I don't want to respond to what the Creator does to me, to accept it as a blessing. This is how I check whether my ego is already on that level or not, that I nullify my ego, that the Creator is all for the better. Of course, what he does is against my ego but I want to prepare myself for it so it is for the better. As I give an example of the surgery, in the operation that I am running towards the operation room to undergo surgery because the result of the surgery is very important, extremely important as opposed to the pain and the surgery itself.
53. S. (01:28:28) The change that is happening that the Creator is doing towards our desire can we compare it to the livelihood, the spirit of life that Adam HaRishon received?
R. I don't know about philosophies. We learn what we learn. If we didn't speak about it, we wouldn't talk about it. You will just get confused.

R. I want to cancel myself, to be an example for the friends for both this and that.

R. We need to make a calculation of what it means to be an embryo and this is what you need to be discussing all day, what does it mean to be an embryo. Write this down how to nullify oneself, how does the group do this, to enter conception, because conception means that 10 become as one and that is how they evolved increasingly. What do we attain through the conception, who is working on us and how does the evil force work on us to grow us, how does this force work on us to correct us and how these forces formatting us, shape us and give us the form of conception. There is a force of bestowing, a force of reception. How does the combination of these forces shape the form of the embryo? How does this form of the embryo become similar to the Creator? This is why it is called ‘Adam’, from the word similar to the Creator. How is it similar to the Creator and its external shape and qualities, what is going on there?

R. Each friend in the 10 needs to attain his participation, in general, and the 10 needs to attain its participation in respect to its general state and to the Creator and in the meantime we should enter these 6 quotes that we read.
