47. R. (00:17) First of all we have a whole week for this portion, we'll have to add additional parts to the scrutiny of this portion from TES and other parts of Baal HaSulam and in general everything that we know about the active Bereshith, Genesis. So, we learned a small part in order to cross it across entire week and now we're coming back to our sources that we had from before and we continue.  The important thing for us is practically to discover what is the work above reason, and in this attitude we are revealing the upper world we are correcting our perception and in our corrected perception we discover the upper world.

48. R. No questions, meaning is clear to everyone what it means to go with your eyes shut? What should I shut my eyes upon right? How then do I advance, clear right?  

48A. WSQ: What do we shut our eyes on, just close our eyes and go straight ahead against what qualities, what do I do when it's written, even though there's above reason regarded as wanting to walk with eyes shut.  What does it mean that I want to walk with my eyes shut meaning that although senses do not understand what the Sages tell us that we have to go and bestow and to be in connection and do anything above our mind that I reject the connection I don't understand it's disgusting, I can't accept it, how do I still shut my eyes, go for it? Try to explain this to one another how is it possible to do? To even see how to and go ahead, how do I shut my eyes even though the heart doesn’t want it and mind doesn’t support it and go ahead how do I do it? 

*49. R. WSQ:* (9:54) If I'm going with my eyes shut, that's called faith above reason, then what's the difference if I go in my life here in this world with my eyes shut.  Let's say I take upon myself or I take an order like in the army and what's the difference that I shut my eyes, walk ahead in a spiritual ascent what's the difference of working walking with my eyes shut in this world and working with my eyes shut on a spiritual path with your eyes shut, make an effort you are now entering a new development. 

R. What do I shut my eyes on when I walk with my eyes shut in this world and what do I shut my eyes upon in order to walk with my eyes shut in the spiritual world? What is the difference in the way we shut our eyes?

50. S. Faith above reason, faith in the Sages sound like it is in reason.?

R. It is in new reason that you acquire the next degree of reason and you build that new spiritual reason above your corporeal reason that was felt and accepted, understood in your will to receive as much as you want it to be wise and smart, here you just you use different decisions and measurements they're different. That's it that you do everything according to the reason of the society and the Creator. The question is how do you build that above reason, do you use your reason for it but you go above it right that you also need to be in your reason also how can you build anything above, it it's all built in going above. Now here's the question, how do you build it, how do you build that degree?

51. S. (22:30) I wanted to ask what do you shut your eyes on in spiritual work?

R. We don't shut our eyes on anything in the spiritual work but we already go in all our forces in order to bestow

51A. S. (22:58) When I criticize the voice of the Sages and I do it is it above reason is it like the envelope with the 99 dollars?

R. Yes, correct.

52. S. (22:19) On one hand we got from the abundance and on the other hand we want to turn to the Creator above reason and in that way aim, how does it work, how is the second one better because?

R. I don't understand what you're asking.

53. S. (23:49) If there's no reason and the eyes are shut, what do we base on in our movement?

R. We are talking about an individual person, how he should aim himself towards spirituality so aiming himself toward spirituality needs to aim himself in faith which is above reason which is opposite his reason.  So here, there is a question, how do we build that degree in an opposite way to our opinion? As it's written they have eyes and do not see and they have ears and do not hear, how do we do it.

54. S. (24:50) I want to ask about what you asked in the workshop, what's the difference about going with eyes shut in corporeality or in spirituality because in corporeality it's clear it is about not noticing what I feel or see.  Because there's a goal and I go above it, meaning I don't pay attention to I don't mind what I have inside of me.  But what does it mean to go with your eyes shut to spirituality, what state are we talking about?

R. In corporeality to go with your eyes shut, you just annul your ego towards somebody else's you go like in the army. That you have no choice and that's what you have to do. We do it towards all kinds of things in this world, the police, government, your wife, the kids.  Everything works on us and we can annul our will to receive for its all these things that you have no choice it doesn't mean to go with your eyes shut.   I know exactly what I want, what they want and as much as I need and as much as I can and there's no choice, I just bend myself and go. It doesn't mean I'm going above my reason it means I have no choice, and this is the way you have to go. It's not above reason it's still agreeing to my own reason and it's making a calculation.  In spirituality I don't calculate, I just annul my opinion towards a spiritual state.  If in spirituality. I'm told I have to go in connection, and I take the connection as if I'm in it, I take it and I go.  Because in my mind I will always be against that's why it's called above reason, but I accept it Why? Because it's called faith in the stages that is what they said, you want to be in spirituality you have to accept that mind and that feeling as much as you can. You need to base yourself on this new information and I just accept it as if it's the truth as if that is the correct data that I advance towards, I exist in my spiritual world according to that.  That's why I according from this moment on I want to get to faith in the Sages, faith above reason, I have to behave in the group as if I'm in the force of bestowal only. That's how I need to keep myself, to be connected with the friends in the force of bestowal towards them, through them to be connected to the Creator in the force of bestowal.

S. In other words the importance of faith in the Sages and the quality of bestowal has to be more than I feel in my own mind and heart and that's the whole war?

R. Yes.

54A. S. (28:47) To go with faith is the beginning with the beginning to understand the path?

R. No, we can't do this by trying to understand the path, by trying to advance we need to go in that this is how it is obvious the other person can't do this right away even though it is desired from the first moment he comes to the wisdom of Kabbalah.  After he sees that there's no choice and it's impossible that there's no other way let's say that he's smart and he has a big will to receive and it'll take a lot of time until he will break and be willing to take upon himself above reason.

55. S. (29:50) Where's that test in this process, the checking?

R. The checking, whether I'm going in faith above reason is that I am in connection in that constant agreement with the friends. I'm expecting that the good results from my connection with the friends I will reveal the Creator as the force of bestowal what's between us.

56. S. (30:50) The purpose of resembling Arvut, the Creator is it through our connection does the form of uniqueness change, is that I'm opposite from the Creator yet I have to see it as one complete, so what is happening in a person?

R. You will feel it, just make efforts to go against your mind, do exactly what the sages are saying because before you it cannot explain this.

57. S. (31:41) Is faith above reason a gift from above?

R. Correct, but we still need to make efforts on our behalf and then in faith above reason we get the force of Binah, the force of bestowal from above that dwells within us and then in it we start revealing the spiritual world, the Creator.

58. S. (32:18) I asked myself why I want to achieve spirituality, my ego is asking it gets the answer it will feel pleasure instead of pain, so how do I come to?

R. You want to reach the highest pleasures possible, so you have to go in faith above reason

S. That's also within reason?

R. Do whatever you want, go around chasing your tail it, won't help you, if you want to reach it you want to do it, so try be healthy.   I'm not accepting these complaints, it's written, so it's written and I'm explaining what is written and you, whether you want to do it or not.

59. S. (33:17) The reason for the fight is it always awakening the desire to bestow over and over?

R. Yes.

60. S. (33:49) Is it correct in the work in the ten to translate states of resistance anger and these things to respond the opposite out of intention to reduce the importance of the ten?

R. Yes, try to speak from experience only, only from experience.

61. R. You hear this, you don't take into account our thoughts or feelings, it doesn't matter, I know what I understand in my thoughts in my feelings it means if it doesn't exist.  It exists so I can go above it and build something new, meaning as it I have nothing in my head, in my heart I have experience or not, I understand or not, here it doesn't matter if you're wise or stupid a big Professor or simple person.  Everybody is the same, everybody, you have to understand there's no difference between any one of us no, one there is no difference, we are all on the same level clear.

62. R. What does it mean to come closer to the Creator? It means to let go of my will to receive and to be more in the will to bestow, how is that possible? It is to build upon my will to receive actions of bestowal, a desire, I don't have the desire to bestow that is the Creator. I can only organize my actions that they will be as actions of bestowal. That is called faith above reason that I build the action of bestowal above the actions of reception, so this is what we have to try and do. First of all in the ten, a ten must feel how they are formulating and connecting and how between them that the gap is closed and everything, it doesn't matter who or what, each and every one. We are all trying to mix with everyone else, each one wants to be in a close connection with the whole ten and then you will see as much as the connection can be organized very quickly. Because I don't look at the other ones, who are they, what are they, I want to resemble them, I want to reach a connection, so we can act exactly in the center of the ten.

*63. R. WSQ:* Let's picture to ourselves how each one behaves like the Creator, this is called being in Dvekuth, adhesion, with the Creator when each of us behaves like the Creator with all of the created beings. Meaning in the form of good and doing good, what does it mean to behave in this way, in the form of being good and doing good, in the ten and all over the world? If you want to achieve Dvekuth, adhesion, with the Creator you have to do this in order to be like the Creator so go ahead what does it mean to be like the Creator?

*64. R. WSQ:* (44:23) What will we try to do today during the day in the group, but really in practice realize what we learn now about faith above reason, how do we in the group try to be like the Creator, each of us towards the friends? How do we behave in this way towards a friend so that during the day we will really feel that this is how we're behaving?

65. R. (48:34) It is clear how we have to behave with the friends during the day and the group, if not then please ask questions. Because from today onward, we want to start implementing the teaching until all of us discover the Creator so what do we have to do in practice if it is not clear please ask.

66. S. (49:06) You said that I don't want to resemble the friends but I want to reach a connection with the friends so the whole matter of envy, lust and honor, it is really more becoming like the friends.   I see how they behave and I want to become like them, so what do you mean not to be like them but to reach a connection?

R. The main thing for us is the connection, resembling, I can't resemble them in qualities but having a connection between us, this is what I do have to do. Meaning I should try to, adjust myself to the friends so that I am in connection with them.

67. S. (50:05) What does it mean to behave like the friends as to the Creator?

R. Just like you could imagine how the Creator behaves as the good who does good towards the friends, you try to be that way as well, if you want to be similar to him and achieve equivalence of form, by all means, now you can achieve equivalence of form with the Creator by behaving that way towards the friends. 

 68. S. (50:38) What does it mean to behave like the Creator towards a friend in the ten?

R. I can't explain it to you, it is according to your feeling, according to your understanding, how you picture the Creator as good and doing good, relate to the friends this way as good and doing good.  All of the things that you don't see with your eyes as good and doing good, say that you don't see them because you are a corrupted egoist.

69. S. (51:35) Does the upper Force have a quality like an ego?

R, The Creator is only the quality and force of bestowal only, just like we have only the force of reception. 

70. S. (52:12) The Creator is relating to us through concealment he's not showing us his love, Rabash writes  but you need to  reveal love between the friends, is the concealment part of revealing the Creator? 

R. N, we do it afterwards, that is an additional behavior, for now we have to show each other that we are in love for one another and by this we awaken the hearts of the friends.

71. S. (52:55) How do I Up Lift over the feeling that I want the friends to think and do like me?

R. Like you? Look at yourself? How can you ask others to be like you?

S. How can I uplift above it?

R. You have to behave like the Creator, we agree in bestowal, in real bestowal upon everyone and do you want to do only good to them and not from yourself, from your ego but if you rise above your nature. That's what I'm saying as if you're like the Creator of relating to them.

72. S. (53:52) He says that the whole world belongs to the Creator, how does that help me determine that he is so good that does good?

R. What does it matter, did I tell you to do this or did I tell you to relate well to the friends?

S. I'm not turning things around, are the friends my soul if it belongs to the Creator isn't it a part of me?

R. What you have in front of you in the group, don't twist me towards the soul or other directions that you don't know anything about, just work with my words literally and try to do it otherwise you'll be just such a wise guy. Don't twist things. Whatever you hear, find out what to do and do it.

S. I want to see the good that does good, the attitude from the Creator how do I see it?

R. You won't see the relation of good and doing good from the Creator until you are good and doing good.  How can you become closer to being good and doing good, I'm telling you but you're running away from it, you have to try to be good and doing good towards the friends as if you are like the Creator, through these exercises you will begin to understand.

73. S. (55:37) You said the good that does good, the Creator isn't the gentleman, he is a cruel one how do we behave towards one another without gloves or with cruelty or with love?

R. The Creator behaves towards you as the good who does good and you are accepting these things with your ego in the opposite way. This is why you are saying that he is bad, that he is doing bad to you all day, if you change your qualities you will discover that he is treating you with absolute love.

S. Can I demand my friends to relate to me in such a way?

R. You have to relate to your friends as the good who does good without any boundaries or limitations.

74. S. (56:45) When I relate to my friends as the good that does good should I also criticize them?

R. Nothing, all the criticism stems from your ego, that is why you don't activate your ego, you are only relating as a good who does good then there is no criticism. 

S. Thank you.

75. S. (57:15) The task today is clear to implement what we learned in above reason that each one will behave like the Creator to the friends.  Do you recommend to add the subject of Bereshith in here to deal with it somehow?

R. If you can, if you have time for it yes. But the main thing is to work in the group.

76. S. (57:44) How can Bnei Baruch reach the spiritual reason?

R. Only through the exercises that we want to do now, only through the exercises. Because through the exercises we awaken reforming light and it influences us and turns us into something else than what we are. It performs an act that makes us similar to the Creator. That is the way that it is, this is why we have to implement these activities without thinking too much because you can only think with your own mind, intellect. After you do these things the reforming light comes, changes your feeling and understanding and then you will be able to see with your new mind and heart where you are.

77. S. (59:24) Internally in what form must it take to feel that the gap between us is closing?

R.  Only by relating to the ten, all of you in the form of bestowal. If all of you relate to the ten only in the form of bestowal, everyone toward everyone then you will begin to discover in the connection between you, the essence of the Creator. That is it.

78. R. Meaning the quality of bestowal we don't know what is the greatness of the Creator it is revealed to us as the quality of bestowal, the exaltedness of the quality of bestowal compared to our nature, how the giving and loving nature of the Creator is higher than our own receiving and hating nature.

79. S. What does it mean you have to receive for the friends, it's not man's work?

R. He needs to be impressed with the friends, it is written that envy, lust and honor bring a person out of his world and lift him to a higher world so he has to receive from the friends through Impressions from the group.

80. S. (1:07:28) When I look at a friend and I see a flaw so we say that the flaw is in me, so how do I recognize in the friend the quality of the Creator?

R. By annulling all the bad because you see yourself like in a mirror then all the good remains in him.

81. S. (1:07:59) What's the difference between a person who gets the greatness of the Creator from his friends or from his childhood, what is the addition in getting it from the friends?

R. What kind of a version or habit that you received, your ego acquired all kinds of forms, here you're going with the friends to cancel your ego, to go against your ego. It is to cancel what you grew up with, going by rote.  What did you receive there, any good qualities? It's only your ego that clothed in all kinds of well-mannered behaviors in order to profit and to be liked by others, it is ego. Here you have to do the opposite.

82. S. (1:09:08) We were speaking in the ten about how we need to relate to one another in love and we have no such desire we have to build a new reality.

R. ....

83. S. (1:09:41) How do we develop a sensitivity to bestowing for the society to raise the greatness of society? I try and I'm not able to, I succeed a little bit and then I fall again.

R. Try to think that you just don't understand what's going on there, so like a baby you just open your mouth and you want to know what they want from me, just like that, that is what a baby does. So do that toward the group and then you will receive from them even if they don't know and they don't have anything in them, but through them you will receive the qualities of the Creator. This is why we say that the Creator is inside the group.

84. S. (1:10:45) Rabash writes  Here that we need to believe above reason that he conducts the world in a way that is good that does good, this is a feeling that a person gets when he's in a connection with the friends and that Dvekuth, adhesion with them?

R. Correct yes a person receives all of those revelations of Providence and guidance and qualities through the society, without a society you won't have anywhere from which to receive connection with the Creator and the influence of bestowal from him.
