1. Rav’s Introduction: This is a very important topic we do not quite feel or understand. We do not work with it yet but we have to start, it is the desire to receive only in order to receive and actually it leaves and exists as a desire and it is neither good nor bad but how we use it seemingly for our own benefit or seemingly for the benefit of others. In order to receive, in order to bestow, the entire difference of what we do with it, is the desire to receive for itself and does not change, does not get refined. It only becomes revealed in all the 125 degrees from Infinity into this world and this is how it becomes revealed more and more, according to the person who is capable of changing how he is using it, aiming it towards himself seemingly in order to receive only this is how he feels that it is for his benefit or to what extent he starts to see the truth in full form of what is a for his benefit. He turns it in order to and bestow and in this way, he is considered he has corrected the desire. This is the same desire to receive about how we use it in order to receive or to bestow and this is what changes. I want to say that there are no desires here but it is the same desire which is divided into 125 degrees and accordingly we need to know how to use it. Then we enter Egypt and acquire a greater desire to receive which we call the king of Egypt. Everything in Egypt is the desire to receive in order to receive. The original selfish desire, and the person has to acquire it and we see that mankind also developed in the framework of this world towards all kinds of degrees and forms.

Man is using everything possible for its own benefit and later he discovers that it is not really for his benefit and according to the right perspective which is called the recognition of evil, then it moves to people, refrain from using it for themselves because they feel it is evil, this is the recognition of evil and they transition gradually, and for the time being, we have to go through this stage from using the desire to receive in order to receive the recognition of evil and this is through the reforming light. When an illumination comes, we start to see that using our will to receive is to our own harm. In this state the transition in order to bestow is truly which we didn't call for our benefit using the will to receive in order to bestow. This is the Exodus from Egypt, leaving the slavery which was in order to receive to in order to bestow, which is called freedom and according to that we start to feel a new reality and new world. We discover the upper force which relates to the force of bestowal to the extent we start using the desire to receive in order to bestow, we need to say the desire to receive is the same desire however the intention changes and because with the intention, we cannot see in each other what intention a person is using, but we only see the actions of work with the intentions, changing from in order to receive in order to bestow this work is the hidden work in the Torah.

We do not know what is going on since the intention is hidden but the action is revealed and is easy for us to see. However, according to the nature of the action or the action itself, is how we determine what the action is, who the person is and so on. Therefore, we need to know his needs and to see what each person is doing and with intention they are using. Because the intention testifies for the action itself. It might be the person is holding a knife and sticks it into the body of the other and he is called a murderer and they put him into prison and demand money from him. Somebody else is doing the same thing with someone else and they pay him because he is a surgeon. According to the action itself it is impossible to know what their intention is so everything follows the intention, the actions are the same actions in order to receive and in order to bestow. The intention itself for whose benefit the action is done by what determines where the outcome is and how the person is performing the action in this world and in the spiritual world. This is what we have to look at and check ourselves in the measure of each and every person through the intention and we will change the attitude towards reality. Therefore, as the Creator says, I created the evil inclination which is an evil desire only for the person's own benefit and for the detriment of others and to leave it.

We need to realize that the very first action that we need to perform is, look at our desires and try to sort them out, what he desires and to work with them. We disconnect them from the intention to receive or not to use those desires or even to shift them to the intention to bestow. The transition from in order to receive, to in order to bestow is considered taking these desires out of Egypt, this is how we correct the desires and all the other corrections according to how much we can use each desire completely and determine the spiritual degrees of all of the desires. They will be revealed in all of their most terrible forms and we will be able to rise above the selfish desires and reach the altruistic form, not for our own benefit but for the benefit of others and behind this, stands the Creator. We can describe our actions to the Creator when we become altruistic, this is our work and the most important in the Exodus from Egypt and what this actually means is we are in the desire to receive for ourselves must rise above it and perform a complete revision with the different scrutinizes, examining all the desires and where we see that it is for our own benefit and of course with all the desires, but at least with the ones we can detect, we start the process remove them from in order to receive and this is exodus from Egypt. Later we invert them to the intention to bestow, which is the land of Israel. These are the actions we have to perform, so let's answer some questions.

2. S. (11:40) How can we use our desires for each other as is this not contrary to our nature?

R. Of course it is against our nature, our nature is to use everything for our own benefit and we need to invert this nature and this nature which we want to use for our own benefit gradually becomes more conspicuous for us. Nature, this original intention that this, in control, is the king of Egypt, but it does not have to be this way. We are born leaders and are used to this. But through the upper force we can gradually come to feel that it does not have to be this way and can do it differently, not in order to receive or for my own benefit. We can determine it differently and with the right intention, it can be in the opposite form for the benefit of others so gradually through the reforming light and Upper force, we begin to feel and understand it can be possible and that it is not for our own benefit. In which case we include inside these little desires and believe, in this small world, which is called this world, to the extent we open up our desires in order to bestow outwardly, outside of ourselves, in such a way we begin to see the world is actually different. An infinite world, which is a world we truly live in an infinite unlimited form we can reach this.

3. S. (14:43) About you saying the desires we have to correct, which is to push ourselves and reveal the evil, is something very strong in our nature that does not allow us to compare ourselves to other conditions of desires. How can we make this inversion? In what way the desire to bestow allows us to overcome, this prison of the desire to receive. How can we make the inversion?

R. Through our 10, working in the 10 and how to connect our inclinations and rise above ourselves. By this we invite the reforming light which can pull us from our egoistic world, from our egoistic perception and raise us to the next world, to a higher reality, this is how we can do it.

4. S. (16:28) You spoke about action and intention in the 10, so how do we arrange the right intention between us?

R. We are constantly talking about what is the most important thing for us, how to build the right intention in order to bestow to the friends in the 10. Through this we want to bestow to the Creator and then according to our intention in the 10 and through the 10, towards the Creator and each gets a special treatment from the Creator.

5. S. (17:32) For now we are fighting for the Creator to connect us to bestow. We identify our physical desires for the time being. What desires do we need to clarify because we do not have the right desires yet?

R. Don't worry about anything if you can read then what will you do? You will see that gradually we have to continue as we talked about it before, however now we are talking about how to invert those desires we have in order to receive. How can we gradually bit by bit turn them into the intention to bestow? This is called the Exodus from Egypt. The same desire, the same people, everything is the same but the difference is that in them, the method has changed. It was inverted and what they are doing is everything and now what they are doing is not as it was before. It seemed that it was for their benefit but now they realize it is worthwhile to do it for the benefit of the others because by this they become similar to the Creator and then they can come out of the slavery of Egypt. From slavery to freedom, when they don't think about themselves any longer but they want to be free people in our land, in our desire.

6. S. (19:36) When I care about the others, so should I be Keter or Malchut?

R. Do not be so clever, what I said in the introduction this is what you have to start asking about, not to start using other words which you have heard somewhere, what I talked about this is what you should ask about, and if something else is necessary I will add it to the lesson, but don't add something from yourself, try to understand what we are talking about.

7. S. (20:36) The vessels, the desires we take from Egypt is it a tendency for connection?

R. There is an inclination for connection even before entering to Egypt, there is such an inclination, and inclination they cannot get realized yet, but the inclination for connection exists, this is the most important, that through the force of connection it is considered that they are running out towards freedom from Egypt.

8. S. (21:13) We think that we already have connection with the desire of the Creator, so how to place the intention here to bestow, to delight the Creator?

R. This is possible only if you pass it through the friends. If I want to do something for the benefit of the Creator then I have to first of all do it for the benefit of each and every friend the ten, and then for sure I can aim myself to bestow contentment to the Creator, it is impossible in any other way, that can never happen in any other way, only when we try to reach out to the friends and through them to the Creator.

9. S. (22:40) What to do when somebody studies and has all kinds of physical problems?

R. I do not know, these are you issues in the group, and there are people who can take care of you here in BB, I only give you the lessons this is something concrete, if something happens in the group, some concrete a problem, then sort it out, but not in the lesson and not with me.

S. The question is how can the person come out of Egypt when has so many physical problems?

R. I told you that we are studying, so be patient and study with us and then it becomes clear to you, less questions and more thinking.

10. S. (24:11) The correction you mentioned, when each desire appears in order to receive and we have to turn them in order to bestow, so we already measure everything through the friends, we are not talking about physical desires, we are talking about the 10, when the desire already appears as resistance to the friends, what does it mean to turn this desire which awakens in me resisting the friends to a better desire?

R. For the benefit of whom do I want to work, this is called in order to give if I can work for the benefit of the others.

S. I have a desire that resists the friends, I don't want to go with them, I resist the 10, what does it mean to turn it in order to bestow, for the good?

R. You don't understand what it means to the benefit for the friends, for benefit of the group?

S. So the desires that appear in me, do I have to turn for the friends?

R. Yes, it is good that at least you detect that it is against the friends, this is already something great it is already something very important, how is it happening that you can detect it, you can identify, so it is clear to you, that you are doing something for the detriment of the friends, that you are harming them, so now it is easy for you to take care of such desires, then following a few such actions you will start to feel that you are rising above your earlier self into a totally different spiritual state, you begin to feel through these desires that you change them from in order to receive to in order to bestow, and you start to feel through them that you are truly in a different feeling, in a different perception of reality.

S. What if it is too big for me?

R. There is nothing too big if you are feeling it!

S. So why did you say earlier that there might be vessels we can take care of, and others we might need to take aside?

R. This relates to the imagination, but if you actually feel that you want to do something evil to the friends, something harmful, then this actually means that you were given this recognition of evil from above, so you can start to take care of it.

11. S. (27:17) The desire can have two states, in order to receive and to bestow, but if I hear correctly from the beginning of the lesson, than in the beginning we take the desire out of the state of in order to receive and then we begin to change them towards in order to bestow, so what is this desire we took out?

R. When I do not want to use it at all, I see that my desire is aiming at my own benefit and to the detriment of the others, so I take it out of usage, I don't want to use it as if this desire did not exist in me, I make a restriction over it, and later on, bit by bit I try to shift it, to bring it to use it in order to bestow, at least not to harm but actually to benefit the one I was aiming at before in a harmful manner, and this transition from in order to receive from the benefit of myself versus bestowing, for the benefit of the others this is called Exodus from Egypt, when I exit in order to receive, this is meaning that I left Egypt, and I'm entering in order to bestow for the benefit of the others, which is the entrance to the land of Israel, and by this I become like the Creator.

S. So the desires can be in a restricted state as long as needed?

R. Well, later we will see, you do not have this yet.

Reading 226 (29:35 -30:28)

12. R. There are the vessels of silver and gold, the ones that are only the desire for bestowing, these are the vessels of silver, and the desire to bestow that is already using the receiving desire with the bestowing intention, these are the vessels of gold, when we can already receive in order to bestow, these are the vessels of gold.

13. S. (31:41) Why does it say that the Creator is asking them to borrow the vessels, as when they borrow something, we have to return them?

R. By borrowing it means that the same desires we earlier used in order to receive, now these desires remain as they were, however we now replace the intention on top of them in order to bestow and this is considered that we take them or borrow them.

14. S. (32:33) What is the meaning of that the Egyptians have vessels of silver and gold?

R. The desires to begin with are in order to receive, so they are all in this way even the vessels in the coarseness of 0, 1, 2, and those which we call the vessels of bestowing are the vessels of silver, and the vessels which are truly for a reception in order to receive or bestow, these are the vessels of gold, which means to bestow, to give, Zahav, gold in Hebrew, so these are also the Aviut 0,1, 2, and also 3 and 4, they can all be corrected so they all exist with the Egyptians to begin with, and then we gradually bring them out and correct them. However, when we come out of Egypt, we have to perform a clear decision that we want do not want to use them in order to receive any more, this has to be clear, meaning we bring out all of the vessels from Egypt and later bit by bit we carry them with us until we try to use them correctly in order to bestow only.

15. S. (34:13) All those questions, the vessels of the Egyptians, I do not understand how to correct them for bestowing?

R. Only through the reforming light.

16. S. (34:34) What does it mean to ask from their neighbors their vessels?

R. They mean the Egyptian that I was before, so I take the vessels from my previous self.

S. So we take the vessels from Egypt with us?

R. Of course, this is how we come out of Egypt.

S. This is not a matter of incorporation?

R. Why do you want to enter things which we did not talk about, we do not feel yet, like being incorporated, simply those same desires to receive we had before in order to receive, we take them from Egypt from in order to receive, and bit by bit we shift them to in order to bestow, this has to be clear at least, this and you already want to combine things and make room to have confusion, so here I have to maintain this boundary, I cannot let you go wild in all different directions, this is not how we study.

Reading 227 (35:58 - 36:18)

17. R. Each takes the desires from his own earlier state, from reception, it's like me in Egypt and there is also me who can come out from Egypt and will be called a Jewish from the word “Yehudi” - unity, so there is a selfish yourself and there is altruist self, I do take from one of them his desires, all kinds of inclination besides the intention to receive, remove the intention to receive and with the desires we shift towards a new intention, assembling on top of it the intention to bestow, this is all in all that I have to do.

18. S. (37:09) Before attaining the first spiritual degree, do we feel something in order to bestow?

R. It is only an imagination, it is still a lie, we cannot feel anything before we haven't yet come out of Egypt, so we have to make restriction on the intention to receive and then we begin to invert our desires in order to bestow, and how could we bestow before, it is only lie for the time being if we depict this for ourselves.

Reading 227 (38:34 - 41:53) twice

19. R. This is still difficult. Here we have to elaborate on these things because they are not simple. We can see that the text is also not smooth. It is roundabout, so let's start asking questions and then we see how we can advance-forward.

20. S. () Is our desire to receive not developed enough, or we can’t work with the desires of the friends in the right way, what is missing for us still?

R. The difference between the vessels of the Egyptians and the vessels of Israel, that these are great vessels because with in order to receive all-in-all you are closed in, and you see through this desires only this small world, like truly one small black dot, while if we break through to the intention to bestow into the upper world, there it is infinitely greater, more powerful in all directions and according to numerous discernments, we have no possibility to depict this yet, we have no possibility to even imagine this yet, therefore we somehow talk about it in the meantime, but in truth it will be revealed only when it is revealed in actual practice in us.

21. S. (43:56) Why does Israel need these questions of “who and what”, what can they do with them, do they return these questions to the Egyptians?

R. What do we need these questions for? Only in order to receive the lights to correct us and to expand our vessels, this is what we need those questions for.

S. And before Israel entered Egypt why didn't they need them?

R. Because in Egypt they incorporated in these great desires they did not have before. All the entrance to Egypt happens because previously they were just like animals, after they came to Egypt they started to feel and received from the Egyptians the great desires that they did not know what to do with, and then later on when they escaped from Egypt, and now they are learning how to use these great desires correctly.

22. S. (45:31) How to clarify the examination between the desire and intention because it is very blurred?

R. It will be clarified gradually, there are things which will be clarified slowly over time, give your brain and heart some time to get accustomed to these concepts, and then you can crack it, understand it.

23. S. (46:05) Upon which desires are we talking about, we can't even detect them yet?

R. Did you hear what we were reading about, because this is what we are talking about.

24. S. (46:31) Are the vessels which they gave back to Egypt are corrected vessels with the right intention?

R. The desires are the same desires as in Egypt, but the intention changes from in order to receive to in order to bestow, it is not all at once but gradually we move from the intention in order to receive the seemingly without and intention, this is the Exodus from Egypt and then we gradually come to locating the right intention to bestow. Imagine how it is happening with you how you can immediately go from the intention to receive to intention to bestow, it is not possible all at once so there are many processes, many states you have to go through, some internal some external what each one is going through.

S. So what remains when they give back the corrected vessels?

R. I do not know yet because it says only two words about it, I still do not know what it means to return and when we return them, we haven't even heard about some things so does Israel goes back to Egypt and return the vessels, where did you see that, so let's read and see, don't jump. I am happy that you want to know everything but you have to understand that it will not appear to you truthfully unless everyone reveals it for ourselves.

25. S. (48:34) The question is also about returning the vessels, it is not clear how do we get this, because if we understand well, we build our quality of bestowing, craving for connection on top of the resistance, and we don't have these foundations we don't have the coarseness so how can we build the strong connection between us, this is the question if we return those vessels?

R. When we begin to try to use desires in order to receive in order to bestow, we begin to see these desires many times greater stronger, because the upper light starts to inflate those desires and when it inflate those desires they begin to grow very big, then we will see truly the size of the desire to receive, because after all the desire to receive is just like a small grain of sand initially and when we use them in order to receive it becomes like this world, not greater than a grain, but when we reach using them in order to bestow then suddenly we see the monster of in order to receive, which was there before. The light multiplies our desire to receive many times more and it becomes not simply a desire to receive but the left line for a climb on the spiritual ladder, so it turns out that by beginning to use the vessels in order to bestow by that we grow the desire to receive as well.

26. S. (50:50) How can the vessels of reception in order to receive be returned?

R. We have what we call a tiny light, a tiny candle, which comes from above and it is designed to sustain the vessels before their correction and it provides the pleasure of this world, meaning small pleasures for these vessels to sustain themselves, this is our life in this world.

S. It sounds as though it is a nice exercise, we can use receiving in order to receive and it's to the Creator, but then it says that they returned the vessels and only kept the lights, what does this mean?

R. We learn this, now you want to learn everything from one verse, you have to take it through you inside, as if you cannot feel how it might happen inside then it does not count as understanding, we do not learn with our intellect, that's why I'm telling you to wait, hold on, it will happen. I do not want you to understand the wisdom there is not much wisdom in this only the internal realization inside our own desires.

27. S. (52:34) How can we understand the concepts in order to bestow, let's say I want to do something for myself but I do not have the strength but if someone helps me, I run with great joy to help that other, but I get the pleasure for this, so it is not truly in order to bestow?

R. This is called bestowing in order to receive, so this is also good, at least you know that this is how you are working, you get pleasure from bestowing, you give delights to another and you get pleasure, you get some selfish pleasure from it, but if not for this pleasure when you feel by bestowing to others, you would not have the fuel to do this action, so it is still bestowing in order to receive, but nevertheless it is some form of connection to bestowing.

28. S. (53:58) Usually we work with vessels but here it says that we use the lights, so this means that we can already work with the lights, it is not so clear?

R. We take the force of change, the fulfilment it is all light from the Creator, it is the force of light external bestowal which comes to us from above, which influences us and then we wake up these forces by the changes in our desires, more correctly in changes in our relationships, this is how we exist in the system. The connections between us, how we are sorting, changing the connections between us, by this we wake up the influence from the system, we shake the sources of the light for them to influence us.

S. Is it correct to imagine that if I ask for fulfilment for the friends, I draw the lights and I ask them for the friends?

R. Yes.

29. S. (55:24) It is not so clear in our state in the ten, let's say all the time these and those desires jump and we try to work with them, but what does it mean that we now reached Egypt let's say, and now we are borrowing the vessels from the Egyptians what is this?

R Let's continue, I cannot jump with you, you can pressure me as much as you want, but I know the vastness of the material before me and I don't let you jump around out of the lack of knowledge and orientation, that you want to jump from one thing to the other, so let's go deeper into what we are learning.

Reading 227 again

30. S. (58:21) How can we set the right intention even if it is to bestow, isn't it still in the desire to receive?

R. Let it be under the cover of the will to receive it doesn't matter of course it's not real for now that's how we start. We start like little kids to learn how to eat, to stand and to walk as if we can do it and the later it works itself out, doesn't matter as long as we're in the right direction.

31. S. (01:00:11) What is the connection to the Egyptians? I was sure that the Egyptian is me, my older, earlier form from which I have to ascend and borrow the desires means that the entire process has to happen through this?

R. Yes, except sometimes we talked about it and this way and sometimes in that way they say that one nation lives inside another Nation seemingly both Egyptian and Jewish seemingly to people but in truth each one of us has both of those things together inside.

32. S. (01:01:10) The basis of this action of borrowing the vessels from the Egyptian is in that it is taken or in that there is some agreement?

R. We will scrutinize that along the way you see that even the question is not clear.

33. S. (01:01:46) Taking the vessels by borrowing is it like not demanding to receive an answer for myself?

R. You might be right, let's sing something.

Excerpt 228 (01:05:21 - 01:07:39) twice

34. R. Meaning all-in all-in order to acquire the actions, the abilities, what does it mean above reason? That's why they need these questions of Egyptians so they will have stuff to overcome to build faith above reason but they only need the faith to go without the questions they can't do it. That is the whole matter of the exile in Egypt, like what Abraham asked, how will they even want it to be in such qualities? Go to the Creator and you will understand that you have to come to a different state that's it. What we get out of the Egyptians we get these great vicious, desires that there is no way to work with except in faith above reason that's why they need the Egyptians that's why they need these desires, these shells and when they acquire faith above reason, they don't need the desires themselves they need the force of faith and that's how they advance.

228 again (01:09:20 -01:10:25) x2

35. S. What in the end should we feel regarding the Egyptians?

R. What do you want to feel you want to feel that you have no desires, no intentions, no thoughts, free grasping the concept of the Creator what it is anything that we get we get it according to some equivalence between what is in me and what is outside of get me and to that extent I can feel what is outside of me in me. This is called the law of equivalence of form but if I don't have such conditions then I can't feel what is outside of me. There is the world of infinity around me, various forces, anything you want where is it? I don't know where it is, it's not here what do we do? Where can I look for it? That's why we need to acquire spiritual forces that's what we're talking about here how to add to ourselves additional qualities, sensations, desires, intentions, thoughts, everything that belongs to the reality we are in, but we don't understand it's like a baby you saw him everything they do for him he doesn't know how to do anything, and that's yours until he grows up and he becomes self-sufficient. We grow up in the same way except we need to try and be a more orderly child, an orderly grown up that's what we're learning.

Excerpt 228 - 229 (01:13:06 - 01:16:37)

37. S. There is a feeling that there is some patent or trick here when you go extinct. Desire awakens in me of course I'm afraid to come to the ten with it, here they're advising me you can use this desire but prepare the right intention, am I right?

R. It's true.

38. S. (01:17:06) The exile in Egypt, it only allows us to ask the Egyptians questions, go above reason is this our next spiritual advancement?

R. Mostly yes.

39. S. (01:17:34) Let's say some great desire is revealed and you feel that you are power list you just want to use it for yourself and it disturbs you from engaging and Torah and Mitzvot, how do you work with?

R. If it's disturbing you it's a disturbance this is called help against, and desires that disturbed don't disturb you how can you tell they all come as help?

S. So how to use them correctly, it says we need to give them back?

R. Well learn about that fact that you're not using it's already considered returning them so you can relax about not returning. You think you keep them in your pocket and can always take them out and use them, it all depends on what a person does, if he doesn't use them, it's as if they are revoked, they are not necessary.

40. S. (01:18:58) This spiritual work when we are going with faith above reason, what does the Creator demand from us in this work?

R. What does the Creator want from us? To exchange the desires of the Egyptians with the desires of Jews from separation to unity that's it.

Excerpt 230 (01:19:43 - 01:22:43) x2

41. S. Are lights without vessels be called a possession?

R. No, lights are only the force of correction but the possessions itself, are the vessels.

S. But the possessions are borrowed, you need to give them back?

R. You borrow it, you correct it and through it you acquire faith above reason the force of bestowal, the force of bestowal is your possession, you don't leave anything except for the clothing on the upper light then the upper light is present on this clothing and the will to receive remains the will to receive as it was, slowly, slowly you'll hear it these points are extremely problematic because we're talking about the transition between Egypt in the desert and the desert.

42. S. (01:24:01) It turns out that we should be grateful to the Creator for the Egyptians because without their vessels we wouldn't be able to advance?

R. It's written a person has blessed the bad as He blesses the good, a person has blessed the bad as He blesses over the good, that's it.

43. S. (01:24:42) I don't understand that Israel settled for what they had and they need to use the desires of the Egyptians. It says we need the will to receive nevertheless we have to use it correctly but without the will to receive it's impossible to advance in Egypt, right? Israel when it says when they settled for what they have but they needed the Egyptians vessels in order to advance Egypt is the will to receive so in our work apparently, we need the will to receive we can advance without the will to receive so it seems that the will to receive his on the enemy on the one hand?

R. No, the intention on the will to receive is neutral while that talking about it, we're talking about the intention which is in order to receive.

S. So it's just the desire without an intention?

R. And Israel, it's the desire plus the intention to receive.

S. Israel it's the desire to receive okay.

44. S (1:26:14) The impression from all these excerpts is that all the work in Egypt is to gain faith above reason.

R. It's in the exit from Egypt, Egypt is only the preparation.

S. So what is the essential difference between Pharaoh and these questions by the Egyptians, to both, you have to rise above reason?

R. It's about how we solve them, how we answer them -- within reason or above reason.

45. S. (01:27:01) We talked about 125 degrees but do we always have envy. lust and honor in each one of these degrees?

R. I know it depends on a person. It might be yes, it might be no. It depends on a person.

46.S. (01:27:39) This degree of taking the vessels of the Egyptians, is it the same as ‘awakening the dawn’ and how do we work with this degree of taking the vessels of the Egyptians?

R. We take those desires with the intention in order to receive. And gradually we replace it with the intention to bestow. This is called the process of exiting Egypt. Receiving the Torah, entering the land of Israel where the desire starts to work under the intention to bestow, this is how we cross over. The entire correction is about taking vessels from Egypt and performing all the corrections on them and then it will be the end of correction. Therefore, a person must say about everything that this is a memory of the exodus from Egypt, why? Because he is walking on the path and correcting all the egoistic desires in order to receive to be in order to bestow. This is his life, really.

47. S. (01:29:22) If I understand correctly, we take the desire from the Egyptians and the intention to receive and we only return the intention but the desire remains?

R. We don't need the desire, we only need intentions. You will learn it and it will be clearer. I understand the general confusion, it’s still not clear how we distinguish between one another and peel each other off, so to speak.

S. We learned that there's no light without a where does the filming stay?

R. I told you we will clarify it.

48. S. (01:30:19) To borrow vessels from the Egyptians, that's in order to reveal the ego? Can we look at it that way?

R. It's a preparation for it, yes.

S. And that great everything they come out with, that's a big deficiency they got?

R. Yes.

49. S. (01:30:59) Why should we listen to the course desires?

R. I wouldn't say that this is how it has to be. To the extent that one can grip correct oneself he should correct. Of course, if he wants to work in order to bestow, he won’t settle for something small and insufficient. He will always yearn to work with great desires as possible, as much as he can.

50. S. (01:32:00) Where in the work in the 10 can we take vessels from the Egyptians?

R. All the desires among you are still spoiled, corrupted. You have to detect and raise them up to correction, that's the way it works.

51. S. After the desires and thoughts of the Egyptians are revealed.

R. Afterwards we'll see. I don't want to hear such questions. What is afterward? We are learning something specific not what will come, learn that -- not what will come afterwards, okay?

S. I meant after it's revealed its desires and thoughts of the Egyptian?

R. After that, they demand correction. It's revealed back in Egypt. This is why they want to run away from it, rise above It.

Excerpt 231 (01:34:00 - 01:35:09)

52. R. WSQ: (01:35:17) This part of the lesson we talked about is called borrowing vessels from the Egyptians. What do we need from the Egyptians? What if we go down to Egypt? What did the Creator promise Abraham that his descendants would be in Egypt and Abraham was so happy that he didn't need to continue asking? What is happening here?

Excerpt 232 (01:50:52 - -1:52:18) x2

53. S. We were speaking in the workshop, is there a different reward from the exile that we were in Egypt for 400 years and the vessels we took out of there are two different things?

R. Who spoke in the ten so they said it in your ten and you're bringing it up as a question instead of what we read now the excerpt you're not relating to what kind of an egoistic way is this?

S. Well it is connected to it?

R. Everything is connected, but I don't accept this that you take everything as scrutiny in the ten and you bring it up in front of everyone this is not the time what do we talk about now what is written in the Torah why are you bringing up ten where is the consideration you're not participating with me with everyone. I do not accept this approach, this conspicuous ego if we all listen to something, we have to focus on this.

54. S. (01:54:15) It's written, ‘know for certain that your descendants will be strangers.’ We have to go through this.

R. It is clear to us that we have to take something from Egypt that was clear to us back when Abraham spoke to the Creator when he asked the Creator: “How will I know that I will inherit it,” and Rabash explain that the Creator open before Abraham to see the final state, huge vessel filled with the light of infinity, that the Creator has prepared all that to the sons of Abraham. Abraham asked, ‘how will they receive those things?’ The Creator said, ‘don't worry, they will want us and they will receive it because I have prepared for them a special period that is called exile. They will be exiled in a land that is not theirs. What’s the land that is not theirs? A “land” is a desire, so they will be in an egoistic desire, they will drown in it. And they will take from there, those big desires and they will have a need as a result for correction. So now we're learning how they're experiencing this and how they come out of Egypt. It’s important for us to see how they receive the vessels from Egyptians and how they take those vessels with them. What exactly are those vessels that they take, are they desires or intentions or an attitude -- what is happening? And how they work with those vessels afterwards. This whole process has to become clear to us so we scrutinize it. It takes a while to scrutinize it because it is something practical that we have to go through.

S. There's fear, should we fear something?

R. Fear, I don't know, there might be. There are many moments when a person is afraid. Fear is something good. It helps us avoid bad things, it's a good quality that we have. Only insane people have no fear because they don't understand what is ahead of them so they might endanger themselves. Fear is something very good for people that guards them.

S. Can I aim myself correct here or do the efforts determine everything?

R. We have to develop these things, your questions are still not ripe.

55. S. (01:59:08) Everything we learn about this in Egypt and everything, it's from the process of having 1-2-3 that’s from above, downward?

R. It's both.

S. I'm asking because there wasn't a choice about the 400 years of exile it had to come from above downward?

R. The 400 years of exile is still cascading from above downward, on the other hand. On the other hand, you can say that all of those things are cascading from above downward to us, everything cascades this way. We will learn it -- I don't want to bring you such pictures that might confuse you. We will learn them fragment after fragment, piece by piece by piece. Afterwards we will start putting these things together like in a puzzle -- these are the same color, here, it's the same shape, here and here, it is the same manner -- and we will put together these things. There are many manners that we still don't feel in sounds and in all kinds of qualities.

S. The Creator, before Abraham asks the question and He promises that his descendants will be as sand in the sea, He promises all the abundance of creation. Abraham asking sounds like lack of faith. That the Creator is promising everything and you are asking for proof that it will really happen. That's the state of lack of faith, actually. I know it's not written here but it sounds like Abraham was punished for lack of faith for future generations by asking such a question. Did he have a choice, was there another option for Abraham?

R. I don't understand you. What do you understand about this question and the answer to Abraham? You want to get into it and philosophize with everyone. You need to be a little smarter to understand that you have no cleverness, no understanding. How can we understand it happening simultaneously from below upward and above downward? I just don't want to tell you things that will confuse you. It will confuse you. What for? Of course, it's all from above downward.

56. S. (02:01;58) A person goes to Egypt with simple desires for food, sex family, what happens with these desires during the 400 years in Egypt what's the difference between these desires and attaining spiritual?

R. Many of these desires for food, sex, money, honor, lose their weight because it depends on the way the importance that a person attributes to them what is the desire that grows what does it mean? A desire grows all the time can't you see that grows from generation to generation.

S. From a desire to attain simple things to attain spirituality what is the process that happens in Egypt?

R. Egypt is the process that you're going through now you don't understand how you are becoming more and more kind of inflated by your ego to the point that you come to a point where you want to control to understand to feel that everything is in that you perceive everything understand everything that you control it you want to be instead of Pharaoh who governs all of reality through science technology has desires everything this is you?

S. What motivates this process? What draws me?

R. What motivates this process is the general will to receive that has to become corrected by the reforming light.

57. S. (02:04:16) How do you obtain the complete picture in the spiritual work?

R. Through the desire, demand, search, pray, ask as long as you implement in the ten then you will have big desires and the feelings as well feelings.

58. S. (02:03:51) ....

R. The land of Israel is the general desire whoever is in that degree is entirely in its essence, aimed to the Creator and onward what happens in between there in that degree that's his personal effort as much as he can be connected to the others in order to bestow so he divides that degree and decides in the still, vegetative, animate levels.

59. S. (02:05:50) The desire, what is the meaning of the land, Ur of the Chaldeans?

R. Desire and land is the same thing there is the land of each of the land of Israel it means a desire.

S. What does it mean in terms of the desire?

R. That's from there, they all came out, that is still in Babylon.

S. Then it says they went from you are of the Chaldeans.

R. Source of all desires of all of humanity, of all desires that came from Ur of the Chaldeans.

Excerpt 233 (02:07:40 - 02:11:38) x2

60. S. Come to a person what should he do when who and what questions come to a person.

they come to them and continue over and over?

R. I don't know, do you have a group.

S. Of course my ten.

R. Did you ask them?

S. I try.

R. What do you mean you try if you come to me with this question if you didn't try answer all kinds of things you're asking but you need to understand one thing really questions should I all be aimed through the group to the Creator and the group needs to absorb the question and turn to the Creator and from the Creator get an answer and that answer that will be received in the group and then from the group from each and every one and absorb the answer.

S. It constantly comes again I get an answer and then after some time it comes again more powerfully and I understand even less.

R. It understands it means you're doing something right but every time bothered you in a more essential way and that means you are growing.

S. So we have to repeat the discussion again in the ten?

R. Yes, but not again and again what do you mean again and again yesterday today the day before it you eat everyday what do you mean you have to eat again every day you don't say it about always feel a new deficiency because you have to eat and then when you receive that portion and it fills you and you don't ask about fulfillment and that's how it is every time so why are you saying here again and again and again? Try to see in that way that your building and building and building.

61. S. (02:14:47) Why does it say that they took the Egyptians vessels, why doesn't it say that they took Pharaoh's vessels because all of Egypt is included in Pharaoh even more than that you work with the evil inclination?

R. I don't know my friend, go and ask maybe you will get an answer, what is that question, I don't have that question you will see try and ask and then afterwards you tell everybody but it's a serious question it's the right one.

62. S. (02:15:40) The question is to see where I am or what?

R. Everyone you want to explain or ask, ask for the ten to the Creator and it will be the right question and you get the right answer.

63. S. (02:16:12) When the people of Israel chose Abraham's way and follow him, we see that even they haven't been rewarded with the level of Nefesh so what level of attainment did they have when they united into a nation?

R. They followed Abraham at night with a complete lack of understanding they had an understanding and knowledge that they don't know and that they don't understand. In such a way they ran out of Egypt. What do I mean that the Egyptians give you everything you want your ticket but I don't want it? I only want the quality of faith above reason. That's why they succeeded in running, escaping and went into the sea and passed it. Gradually you will slowly go through all these things and you will see how the sea won't be a sea and the land will also be something else, instead of sand in a desert, there will be just a flowering garden you will see. that's it now.

64. S. (02:18:10) The impression from this lesson and from the last few lessons is that you're not interested in scrutinizing but you're sending it back to us to scrutinize it among ourselves.

R. Today was a special lesson because it was difficult it was about Passover and you see how here friends everywhere are such there heavy look at our reader you see his face everybody's like that that's why I can't demand anything more from you I am also in a very confused state and not organized but it doesn't matter the main thing is our exertion if we give it so it could be that the result of this lesson will be better than the lesson where we are brilliant and we speak nice and it has nothing to do with each other that's why it is a lesson that's it.

S. I want to understand what the right question in the lesson is. What questions do you expect from the students?

R. I expect you each one to ask his ten and through the ten the Creator and everything you feel like asking scrutinized together it's the whole ten not with pressure not coercion decide that they have to ask something not me the Creator so please scrutinize what is an important question what questions are important and organize them and start asking the Creator please that is the best relation that is the best state that can be in a ten.

65. S. (02:20:49) Why did the Creator want to inherit these lands to Abraham?

R. Because a group came from Adam HaRishon first man before 5700 almost $5,800 years there was such an instance that in the human race back then that was back then a desire awaken a question awaken who am I what am I what am I for what should I do with myself that question awakened in some guy and his name was Adam and he started writing the same writing they had back then but he also wrote there is a book that he wrote The Angel Raziel and from him onward people started and people before him people started but after him more and more people started being revealed with the desire that they wanted to know the Creator and reveal Him. That is why he is called the first Adam because he is the first one that attained the upper root and reach the revelation of the Creator after him this wisdom just cascaded until a few years later it passed on to Babylon, about 3500 years ago first Adam is almost 6,000 years so there was about 2,500 years between Adam HaRishon and Babylon. From Babylon and we're already understanding out of these things came Babylon is many groups of humans that live more or less in one area between those two rivers and there in Mesopotamia there was a civilization and we study about them in the Torah how they existed so what are you asking about?

66. S. (02:24:46) From this excerpt it turns out this whole confusion that the Creator brings up with those difficult questions or not so that we will answer, so we will rise above them with faith above reason?

R. In such a way we will receive an answer.

S. How will we get an answer?

R. Will see, yes.

Excerpt 234. (02:25:29 -02:26:28) x2

67. R. Yet the Torah means the light that reforms that comes from above and the commandments is that with the help of that force of the soul that we get from and we can perform actions towards one another and back to the Creator can't really do anything but the fact that we do mutual actions towards one another by this we bring Him joy and that is the result of our correct action that's why if I love my friends and I'm connected with them and I'm working for humanity by this for sure I am performing the will of the Creator and bringing Him joy from me and then as a result from that if I really do that as a result I start feeling that the Creator is enjoying me, He is opening up for me, He shows me everything, He has meaning all of upper nature the upper world and it is all the eternal whole complete world and becomes mine.

I recommend that if you have anything to close the lesson with today to speak, what you acquired in this lesson.
