127. In the division of the Se’arot of ZA, one way is gripped to the manner of division of the Se’arot of Atik Yomin, meaning receives its abundance from it, and all the ways of the commandments of the Torah are divided from it. All those who wail and howl hang on each lock in the hair. They spread a net for the wicked, who do not know these ways, as it is written, “The way of the wicked is as darkness,” and all those are hanging on the hard edges. This is why they are all hard.
Those with the scales grip to those smooth edges, as it is written, “All the ways of the Lord are mercy [Hesed] and truth,” since they draw from the concealed Mochin of the left, called spaces of the Moach.
The Se’arot are judgments extended from the corrections of three lines in the Mochin. The white between the hairs implies Hesed that has no judgments in it, for because the righteous see the judgments that expand to those who lean to the right and lean to the left, they know the way of the middle line, the part in which there are no Se’arot and judgments whatsoever. The origin of that path is in Galgalta of AA, of whom it is written, “The path of the righteous is like a shining light, shining brighter and brighter until the full day.” It shines for the manner of division of the Se’arot in Galgalta of ZA.
One way grips to the division of the Se’arot of ZA, in the way of the division of the Se’arot of Atik Yomin. The righteous, who walk on the middle line, suckle from the way of Galgalta of AA, which shines on the way of ZA. All 613 commandments come to help a person walk on this middle road, in which there is nothing more than the Se’arot of the right line and of the left line, since the 248 commandments to-do save it from the Se’arot of the right, and the 365 commandments not-to-do save it from the Se’arot of the left.
All the ways of the commandments of the Torah are divided from it, for each commandment casts its light on this white way. We could ask if there are Se’arot and judgments from the middle line, too, but the judgments in it are also from a leaning to the right line or to the left line, which punish them so they walk truly on the middle line. When they receive those judgments, they obey it and walk on the middle line, but to those who walk on the middle line, there are no judgments at all.
The judgments applied in the middle line, which are Daat, which are called “locks,” punish those who deviate to the right or to the left. All those who wail and howl hang on each lock in the hair. The accusers who punish and bring wails and howls to the world are hanging on the judgments of the middle line, which are extended from Daat, which are called “locks.”
They spread a net to the wicked, who do not know these ways, and catch them in their net, as it is written, “The way of the wicked is as darkness; they do not know in what they fail.” They fall to the net of judgments at the edges of the Se’arot.
But the righteous who walk on the middle line, walk in the way of the division of the Se’arot, which is white and in which there are no Se’arot at all. It is written about it, “The path of the righteous is like a shining light, shining brighter and brighter until the full day.”
There are two kinds of judgments in the middle line: of the lock and of the key. When the judgments of the lock are revealed in it, the Mochin cannot spread in it until it sweetens the Malchut into the state of “key.” Then the Mochin are revealed in it, as well as all those who are hanging on the hard locks, the locks that emerge from the lock, harsh judgments.
The locks that come from the judgments of the key are smooth. Those with scales, which is the screen of Hirik that is established in the key and causes the emergence of Mochin face-to-face grip them. It is written about them, “All the ways of the Lord are mercy [Hesed] and truth,” so that the Mochin of Gadlut that consist of Hesed and Hochma, called Hesed and truth, will be revealed.
But why do they cause all this? It is because they draw from the hidden Mochin of the left, called “spaces of the Moach,” since the screen of Hirik is established in the scales so that the Hassadim will shine from above downward and the Hochma from below upward, and then it is possible to reveal the hidden Mochin on the left, since then they are included in the Hassadim of the right, and not otherwise.
