211. All the corrections and the matters were given to the harvesters of the field, to those who have already completed the work of holiness and purity, and have already been rewarded with seeing the fruit of their work. The wicked seemingly make a flaw above; the flaw is as it is written, “They have dealt corruptly with him; they are no longer his children because they are blemished.” The flaw is only with respect to the children, that they cannot receive their abundance because all those corrections that were established in order to bestow upon the lower ones are not present as they should be due to the deeds of the wicked, as it is written, “his children because they are blemished.”
It is written, “He wears righteousness like an armor.” It is also written, “He wears garments of vengeance for clothing.” “He wears righteousness” when Israel are kosher [proper/upright]. Not rewarded? He wears garments of vengeance.” This is the flaw that the wicked ones do in the upper corrections, which seemingly takes off the garment of righteousness and wears the garments of vengeance.
212. The flaw that the wicked ones make with their deeds above is when the fathers, HGT, do not receive sustenance to be blessed by that potion of the brook, the abundance of Bina. It is all the more so with the children, for because they do not receive the abundance for the lower ones, a flaw and blemish below is made, that they do not receive the blessings. Below, where they are devoid of everything, it is not regarded as a flaw upward, but toward the children, Israel.
213. As long as the wicked are many in the world, the holy name is seemingly not blessed in the world. As long as the wicked are not many in the world, the holy name is blessed in the world, as it is written, “Sins will end from the earth and the wicked will be no more, bless the Lord my soul, Hallelujah.” This is just so, as it is written, “his children because they are blemished.” Who caused that blemish? It is written, “a crooked and twisted generation,” since those wicked and the generation are like that.
214. For this reason, after Moses said all those things and mentioned the holy name properly, he said, “Indeed, he is righteous and upright, the matter is in his correction, but “they have dealt corruptly with him; they are no longer his children because they are blemished,” since they are “a crooked and twisted generation.” However, the wicked do this to themselves, causing the departure of the blessings from the world.
