Recently, scientists figured out a way to create embryos from stem cells. They also understood a lot more about the process of cell division, and at some point could make embryos in a laboratory without the need for an egg or a sperm.
While it might appear to be something special, there is nothing essentially special about it because doing so does not require taking something out of nothing, like the Creator does. A scientist in the lab does not create existence from absence. Like all other created matter, existence from absence was already created.
What is special in our life is to take any person and teach them how to become like the Creator. What kind of laboratory would make a person to be like the Creator? It is only possible when a person performs special actions, which draw the upper force from the Creator. In such actions, one part of him remains as his biological side, and in addition, he invites a drop of a force from above that will work on him and will make him similar to the Creator. This is called a “human being” (“Adam” in Hebrew), which means that the person’s attitude toward his environment is good and benevolent. He then relates to other people with the intention that they all have it good.
This is opposite to human nature. What a person thinks about himself, and also about the Creator, is that there is no one crueler than the Creator. Although it is unpleasant to say, especially given everything that we have recently gone through, but things are going to become worse.
Why is that? As we develop, we come closer and closer to the Creator. But if we flow with the current, like we do now, then things will not become better, but will get worse. Coming closer to the Creator will make us feel good only on the condition that we make it good and then the year will be good too. We cannot count on the Creator that He will do good to us, but we have to do the good ourselves, i.e. to be good and benevolent toward each other. If this is how we treat each other, then we will build the exact environment that will reveal what the Creator is to us. The Creator is nonexistent. We make Him in our attitude of love and bestowal toward each other. If we fail to do so, then there is no Creator.
