Part 1:

Rabash. Article No. 36, 1989. What Is “For It Is Your Wisdom and Understanding in the Eyes of the Nations,” in the Work?

Reading:(00:35) “It is written, So keep and do them…”

1. S. (28:01) He writes, to follow as a beast, how do you follow the Creator without any mind, without reason?

R. Otherwise, you are certain with your mind, and you cannot go after it, how? The mind after the Creator, there is none, only the beastly mind, therefore we go after it. We annul the mind we have in us, and we go according to what we can.

2. S. (28:58) That’s what we've been learning for twenty years, to go like an animal after the Creator; and I didn't understand this whole thing of above reason?

R. Faith above reason means that we do not go with our reason, but we want to acquire the reason of the Creator.

S. Why does that mean to go like an animal?

R. Because the beast, an animal has no mind of its own, it acts according to the forces of nature that act in it.

S. Why is it so hard for us if it's so simple, beast sounds less than a man? We've been sitting for years and years trying to go above reason.

R. Yes.

S. And I’m able to go above a beast, so I don’t understand, above reason is a degree that's lower than going in reason? It's not what we're learning, it confused me completely that he called it above reason to go like a beast.

R. Faith above reason means that you choose to go that way, not to listen to your own reason but to go after the Creator like an animal, like a beast, without asking. Without deciding on anything other than the direction.

S. Why is that so difficult for us?

R. Because it has our own reason that we can't let go of, only when we turn to the Creator and ask Him seriously and correctly then He does it. He takes us out of our own reason, and this is called the exodus, and it brings us into His reason.

S. So this is what we need to learn here, we need to follow the Creator like a beast and then we've arrived to where we need to arrive?

R. Yes.

3. S. (31:32) He says here that the person himself is a small world all of the nations, the evil inclination, they're all in man. It seems like it's an inner dialogue in man and in what inner opinion to follow, is the Creator also within man?

R. Certainly.

S. How do I make the Creator within me and follow him like a beast, how do we arrange it with such an opinion? I have a lot of opinions that say that there are no pleasures in the world, as well as people, a lot of methods, a lot of things as the reason the opinion of the Creator to go in bestowal. What does it mean to follow this part that has no pleasure?

R. Going after the Creator means that I annul my opinion and desire and follow Him.

S. All of these opinions say that a person is a small world that's all in me, so what does it mean to cancel my opinion?

R. The opinion of the Creator remains.

S. That's in me?

R. So what, certainly it's all in you; how does that interfere with anything that it's all inside of me?

S. So where's above reason, I have seventy opinions, one of them is the opinion of the Creator, of bestowal and love, and so on, one out of seventy, that's also mine?

R. And what are you asking?

S. Why is that considered going above reason, it’s like choosing right or left?

R. You have nothing to choose, you have no vessels for which you can get to choose. You simply have no choice but to go in faith above reason or you remain as a beast.

S. Many times you make a decision that you shouldn't do this, just remain an animal, and doing this is better off. With what device do I make this decision if not in reason?

R. You received that in the upper force, you said that I have no choice, either I continue as a beast or an animal, which is what's before me at every single moment. Or that I go above my reason.

4. S. (35:07) How does a person choose what Mitzvot are light and what are severe? It says that he disrespects the light ones and the other ones that are important to him?

R. The person chooses Mitzvot as much as he can go above his reason. On one hand, they are opposed to these actions, to his opinion; and on the other hand, he can go above them.

S. I just don't understand, I thought all of the Mitzvot are above reason, also the heavy ones and the light ones. And here it says that the severe ones he sees reward and the light ones he doesn't see reward in them because they're above reason. So, I didn't understand, how does this division take place?

R. Okay, other questions.

5. S. (36:34) What's the difference between replacing a beast for an ox, or an ox for a sheep, or going above reason?

R. Because there he chooses something real, material, where he can see that it has a reward. And in faith above reason you don't see any reward, you see no goal other than you executing the Creator’s will.

S. Meaning in the work, I'm asking about the work, in our work, I get up in the morning, I come here, it's not above reason. And I try to be included with the Ten, that too isn't above reason, many things I don't agree with, it's inconvenient, it's uncomfortable but none of that is above reason. When does this thing become above reason?

R. When you act against your desire and you agree to go against your desire, but that you go out of no choice because you're getting some better payment from it, but because it is the truth.  If you go against your opinion, your reason.

S. A lot of things that I hear and listen here were once against my reason, but there was a feeling that you are a man of truth. It was clear that everything you say to me is correct from that perspective. That's why I follow your reason even though it contradicted my own reason completely, that still isn't considered above reason?

R. Well?

S. Where is this matter of above reason, where can I grab onto it?

R. If it's not against your reason then it's certainly not above reason; but if it's above your reason, and you cannot observe it. But if you request vessels for that from the Creator and then you can go on that path, then it is called above reason.

S. So this is a state that I have no strength of myself?

R. Right.

S. What is this feeling that happens if it can be described?

R. You have the opportunity for that, but you can ask and demand.

S. And the demand, how does it include the work in the Ten, this demand?

R. They give you strength.

S. The Ten gives me the strength to ask?

R. The Creator gives you the strength.

S. Through the Ten?

R. Yes.

S. And this deficiency, this deficit, to come and do this thing?

R. He also gave that to you, earlier.

6. S. (39:50) You understand getting up at 2:00 a.m. is against my reason, I like sleeping in my nature. Before I came here, I used to sleep nine or ten hours a day; I came here, I started getting up at 2:00 a.m., but that’s not according to my reason. I don't want to get up at 2:00 a.m., ever, I don't wake up like a lion and run here. Coming here, is that above reason, I come here every morning, for twelve years? Is that considered above reason?

R. No.

S. I come like an animal, which also suits what he says here, I go like an animal after what I'm told.

R. Yes?

S. So he says it's called above reason but I don't feel it above reason, it's against my nature. But I don’t feel it's above reason, where does this become above reason?

R. It doesn't, it doesn't, something unrealistic doesn't appear to you, it's all within your own powers. Above reason means above my reason, above my desire, above everything I am, where I really receive new vessels and desires from above.

S. How do we reach it, what else are we lacking here, in this action, in order to reach that?

R. We lack just to see that it's unrealistic for us to observe that, whether we see that it exists in nature or not. But we have the opportunity to pray, to request, through our connection that the Creator will do that to us.

S. So the fact that I'm able to come here in the morning, thanks to the friends, that they wake me up, and I have envy, honor, and lust. And I want to be ashamed, everything that makes a person come here at this hour?

R. Yes?

S. All of that eventually needs to be thrown away and I need to reach a state where I can't do it and the Creator saves me?

R. Yes.

S. Like that?

R. Like that.

7. S. (42:35) Why do you follow the Creator like a beast without any reason? Is it called above reason and not below reason?

R. Because the person goes against his reason, the person goes against his reason.

S. Also he says that when claims come to a person from the nations of the world, he needs to listen to them and tell them they're right, and then go above reason. What brings a person to succeed in this negotiation?

R. He’s not in a negotiation, he’s not in a struggle, in some, what?

S. Because the nations of the world are in control of him now, how does he rise above reason, how does he not disappear there?

R. Meaning the first stage is that he wants to keep the desire of the Creator.

S. Yes, and then claims come to him from the side of the nations of the world, that their right and so on. How does he not be convinced; how does he not fall into that?

R. He already cannot agree with him because he has an opposite opinion.

S. Now he has two opinions, he has their opinion and the opposite opinion. How does he determine this, at this point?

R. He determines it through the exertion to observe the Creator's desire.

S. How to not disrespect in these states that he sees that he'll get nothing from the work?

R. Look, he feels himself that he's in some struggle an inner struggle that he has between, seemingly, two opposing forces. And he remains with them accordingly, he is among them, between them, and he continues between them. Where one supports the other, even though they are opposed.

S. Doesn't Israel need to be above the nations of the world in man?

R. Yes, it's all on the side of Israel, in any case, in faith above reason, but on the other side, he needs to.

S. How does he relate to the other side?

R. He needs to also be in that, otherwise he will have no guidance on the path.

S. I'm asking how to maintain this balance, to respect them and act with the both of them, forward?

R. Take into consideration the force of evil and take into consideration the force of good, and to position the good force, the side of bestowal, the side of Creator, above the left side, the force of evil. And in such a way to progress from one side to another.

S. And how should the evil force be treated?

R. That it's a help against him, that he cannot continue without it.

S. Okay, and in states that a person will feel that nothing will come from his work, doesn’t matter, good force, bad force. How does he not disrespect that moment?

R. But what does he have to do?

S. To escape this work.

R. Where to?

S. Even internally, even if he's sitting here, it doesn't matter?

R. So he kills himself, if he doesn't choose between one and the other, it's no good.

S. That's why, how can you not disrespect this moment, this point that comes?

R. There is the matter here of being in society which follows him, which awakens him. And envy, lust, and honor act on him, and he progresses accordingly.

8. S. (47:46) If he chooses between this and that, it must be two opinions that are in man, and one is stronger. So, one that's easy for him to choose, let's say there's one egoistic one which is in reason. And then there's another reason, another opinion, which is the opinion of the Creator, it’s still an opinion that comes from a person that he chooses, that he likely has more strength to choose. So what differentiates when is this choice above reason, it sounds like there is still choice within reason?

R. You want me to tell you now what things will convince you to go above reason, but no?

S. That's not what I mean, on the contrary, if you tell me things to convince me to go above reason, then it'll be according to my reason, so I go within your reason.

R. Right?

S. When is it, not two opinions where one arises on the other, even if it's the higher, upper reason? When does it turn into being above reason, I think that I heard something here and I lost it. I heard something here where you need to be needy of the Creator, that He will hold that together, that difference.

R. Of course, eventually a person opens his heart up to the Creator and cries out and asks, yes.

S. What is that difference exactly, what's happening there, when is it not two opinions?

R. When he doesn't decide himself and weigh what's good and what's bad. But he raises these doubts, everything, to the Creator and he wants the Creator to decide.

9. S. (50:05) How does a person know that he received the force to do something above reason, from the Creator or from the society? Because the Creator acts through the society, I came at 2:00 in the morning, I received the forces for that; I request and I received it through the society.

R. Both from society and the Creator, why is it important for you to differentiate that?

S. Because we say, only if you get the forces from the Creator, then you do it above reason. But if I got forces from the society, we don't say that that's above reason. I woke up at 2:00 in the morning because of the society, they gave me the strength, if there was no one sitting here I wouldn't come here alone. So, I can say that that's above reason or not?

R. We say no?

S. Why not?

R. No, I don't understand your question.

S. I receive strength, fuel, to sit here, certainly it comes from the Creator to the society, and we say that that's not above reason, why not?

R. Because that's still a calculation: how will I come or not come, what will the friends say, and how will I be seen in their view, and so on. First of all, that calculation, then there's a calculation weighed but there’s the next world and there's a reward and punishment, and I follow that too.

S. So that’s clear, is there an example of above reason?

R. Above reason is that you have decided that you're going and not going to miss out on any lesson, no matter what. And even if you are facing the worst possible conditions, yet still, you don't miss a single lesson.

S. That's above reason?

R. That could be above reason.

S. It's hard to understand that the Creator never comes direct, it always comes through the society, so it's hard to differentiate whether it's from the Creator or from the society. Because from the society, it's clear that it's in reason or can that also be above reason?

R. It could be, it could be this and that.

S. Therefore it's hard to differentiate, how do you understand it?

R. Because we don't yet feel what it means to be above reason.

S. Everything that comes from the society, as I see it, that it's above reason and now we say that it's within reason. And there are also forces for that, strength for that, what to execute them, we do thousands of actions. So, the body receives fuel from somewhere.

R. The body receives fuel from society.

10. S. (53:20) I feel that there's always a calculation here, there is a point that observes the state where the force of the ego controls and wishes to do everything that I think, and feel is for my self-benefit. And there's another point that discerns that whatever comes out of the society, from the friends, from the Rav is what needs to be determined. Even if it's very hard I submit myself and I receive this decision to go above my feelings.

R. Yes.

S. So we do this work, there is this calculation constantly with the will to receive, with my will to receive?

R. Well?

S. So exactly, that's what all the friends are asking here, that's the determination that's beyond my reason. Meaning, there's always this calculation within my reason of this observation point where I look at these two forces acting inside me. Is that what is above reason, is that what acts, in the end, on the beast, on my will to receive?

R. As a beast for your will to receive, I don't understand.

S. What we read, is that I am, that I want to work above my ego, right, so there's a point that observes. As an observer, I feel these two forces acting in me and I determine that I want to go above the force, and which really opposes, that resists going for the Creator, for the benefit of society. Is that above reason, we're looking for this point where we truly work on the path above reason.

R. You want to find this point as a material point, then this way it's above reason, and this way it's below reason, and this is in reason. it doesn't work this way.

S. How does it work?

R. Slowly, slowly, scrutinize.

11. S. (56:05) Is it correct to direct ourselves in such a way that for us to try in the direction of above reason, it has to go through the Ten, the connection with the friends?

R. Also true.

S. If that's the case, my reason I need to reveal as a disregard of connection, that I don't really care about that, I don't see the flavor in that, I don't see that it's possible. I don't see that it's realistic, and despite all of that, I yearn for the Creator and pray to Him that He will show me how is it possible.

R. Yes.

S. To continue as a beast means I put myself in the Ten, I want them to be my Rosh, my head, and I am as a beast toward them, that they will drag me?

R. Like a little one.

S. Is that a direction that should take us forward?

R. No, it doesn't take us in any direction, but it takes you after them.

S. Meaning, in order to add the effort in the direction of above reason, then there needs to be a request, a deficiency that rises towards the Creator?

R. Yes.

12. S. (57:36) Why is only exertion, not for one's benefit, why does that build the vessels of bestowal?

R. All of the rest comes to him through the forces of nature that the Creator created from the will to receive.

S. What's all of the rest?

R. All of the rest are only desires that are, that stem from the will to receive of his, they are called his ego, and he follows them.

S. How do they shave away self-benefit from this in connection, how can you get rid of self-benefit time after time and progress with that?

R. Through connection with a group, otherwise you will always remain in the will to receive. Otherwise, he'll always remain for his own benefit.

S. If he doesn't act in connection with the friends and he identifies it as self-benefit, for example, the example of moving to the next world or this world, what do you do at that moment?

R. Continue.

S. Even with the self-benefit?

R. For the time being he can't work above the reward.

S. All of these experiences scrutinize and clarify the need for the vessels of bestowal?

R. Yes.

13. S. (59:23) This whole scrutiny of above reason, our work in the Ten, above my reason, above the reason of the friend, brings us to this clash where each one sees his own reason as better.

R. No, I didn't understand, each one understands that above his reason, what?

S. That it's better for the Ten.

R. Well, yes.

S. So it doesn't bring us to that, there’s a certain clash, we annul in the end, but it brings us to an annulment in the general state meaning each one annuls. And there could be other states other than leave, anything but leave. But these are just deviations that accumulate all the time, deviations, but it's not connection Its not connection. I understand that there's always this struggle, I personally, for instance, have no feeling or discernment in that there is always this inner struggle that's in a war. What is the path of Achishena, of I will hasten it, what is this work, is it always going to be this way, this war?

R. The part of Achishena is that I want to be constantly above my ego.

S. How can I get help from the friends’ forces, not war with them?

R. I won’t war with them, I want to go together with them, I want to see myself spread out over the entire group, covering all the group.

S. You see that what's happening in our nation in Israel, what helped switch the opinion to activate forces of connection was this external action. People change their opinion; people’s thoughts are completely different. The most secular people started thinking in terms of faith in Providence, it started bringing people to connection by force.

R. Yes?

S. I don't want to be in a state where something from the outside gives me some blow and it forces me to connect with the friends. I want there to be a force to be a good force that we battle for but we're always in these clashes, we're always battling.

R. In what, in conflict between the friends?

S. Yes.

R. You need to sit down and talk.

S. We talk.

R. Why are there conflicts if in that way it's the opposite of the purpose of creation?

S. Each one thinks that above his reason is better than being above the reason of the friend. That's really how it is, where or how do we go above reason that it will be above our reason?

R. How to reach above our reason is that each and every one connects to the society in contrast to his own opinion. And he passes on himself to the society, that is the secret of connection.

14. S. (01:04:18) I wanted to scrutinize this topic of above reason and I wanted to know if this is going in the right direction. I need the force to detach me from my will to receive and that is the quality of bestowal. Then I need to choose between the desire to bestow and the desire to receive. When I have those two choices then I can say if it’s above reason. Otherwise, I will always be within my desire to receive, and I will be choosing within that. I need a force that detaches me from the will to receive and I have the opportunity to choose.

R. Yes.

S. In the material world of physics, there are all kinds of situations that physicists don't know how to explain. Are we like the scientists who speak about above reason whereas if we’ll never be able to grasp them in our corporeal mind? It puts us into that category, we need to follow the teacher, follow the text and we will never understand it?

R. We will understand when we have the appropriate vessels to understand.

S. For me it was very hard for me to wake up in the morning and to come here, something very fundamental. Then at some point that turned into being something light. I don't know if that's because I worked correctly and now, I'm working above reason or if it just became a habit? It's as if the exertion was lost a bit is that called some kind of achievement is that progress?

R. It's achievement, it's progress and the exertion didn't go down the drain but today it's all because as a result of the exertion that you gave.

S. Things that appear as hard in the beginning then they become easier and then we seek something new, harder that acts as a certain Mitzvah?

R. Yes.

15. S. (01:06:46) Above reason is that excepting upon ourselves, “We Shall Do and We Shall Hear.” Meaning, if we haven’t heard it is a sign we haven’t done?

R. Yes.

S. What does a person need in order to reach that work?

R. Adhesion to the group.

16. S. (01:07:18) Adhesion with the society he came come to that feeling that can do it?

R. Then he starts to feel what He wanted from him.

S. What is adhering to the society?

R. It’s a sea of things.

17. S. (01:07:41) Is above reason a gift from above or is it always within the person's forces?

R. Gift is given from above. We learned this, the fact that they're asking means that they're not in the lessons.

18. S. (01:08:01) What preparation is needed in order to work in a ten for faith above reason?

R. Annulment.

19. S. (01:08:18) What is the action before the person at every moment? What’s the choice of the action that is before a person at every moment?

R. That he does not detach from society.

20. S. (01:08:39) What does Israel have that does not exist in the seventy nations of the world?

R. They have a spiritual root that the Creator shines through it and awakens them.

21. S. (01:08:58) Why did Israel stop believing in itself and does spiritual work even though it goes through tragedy after tragedy?

R. That's how it is we need to experience all these things.

22. S. (01:09:13) It's written to annul one's reason and my sons defeated me. What do we need to annul and what do we need to defeat?

R. We need to annul our egoistic approach and we need to ask and try to identify connections above that.

23. S. (01:09:43) We see that in the world today the Israelis are hated more and more. Soon you won’t be able to travel overseas. I even envy that a bit because in my inner world the nations of the world, I don’t see that they hate me that much. What exertion will we be able to do so that they feel the nations of the world really do not want us and that we only need to turn above?

R. What is the question? Of course, it is written that way too if we become distant from the Creator the nations of the world will also hate us more.

S. I see that the more we give qualitative exertion the more we see the will to receive opposes it, doesn’t support.

R. You need to go against.

S. In order to reach the request that the Creator will save us, what is the qualitative exertion that will lead to that?

R. Connection.

S. Connection I make is not with the correct 100 percent intention, is that okay?

R. As much as there is.

S. So all the actions to connection and try to scrutinize the intention to be more precise, that’s what will bring us to it?

R. Yes.

24. S. (01:11:24) Work above reason is it because he talks about the questions what and who each time? These questions of who is the Creator, and we’ll hear His voice and come to cry to the Creator. Is that above reason?

R. Also.

25. S. (01:11:53) I did not understand why in the first part of the article he says that we need to go against the mind. We can go with the mind but against the desire, your desire, is that not okay?

R. Usually the mind and the desire are not far from each other.

S. I understand that I'm an egoist, I want to go against it. I want to use this society in order to pressure myself to go against my desire. By doing so I perform a correction. Is that not okay?

R. Okay.

S. That’s not what he writes at the beginning of the article.

R. We will read it again, and we’ll see.

26. S. (01:12:58) What does it mean to hold the laws above the actions?

R. To the extent that you can put these laws you also need to keep them in action.

S. What is it to hear, to keep the opinion of the Creator?

R. Yes.

S. I do that through the Ten?

R. Yes.

27. S. (01:13:33) The main thing of above reason, is it intention or desire?

R. For us it's pretty close to one another for the time being, but from the desire more.

28. S. (01:14:09) He talks about light Mitzvot. How do we deal with light Mitzvot?

R. He explained what light is. Light isn't according to our strength. We will scrutinize it more.

S. He says who can gain from his work only the Creator through that he disregards, that’s a very strong emotion. All the desires come in the egoism then you see the benefit of the work, then you disregard it. You cannot do any action. What do you do at that point?

R. We will continue and scrutinize it more and more. We’re already used to the fact that from one action there are no results, we need multiple actions.

29. S. (01:15:32) In my state there are constantly things I can do. I see, sometimes I do this way, I do that way. I don't feel that I’ve changed. I am the same as I was, I remain, I do or don’t do what the environment tells me, I hear the Rav, I don't hear the Rav, all those different things it is just the same. Do we aspire for a new state in which I feel reality differently? Then we can go above reason and have discernments. All these discernments are within I don’t even know let’s call them within reason. Many times, I feel like a horse, his eyes are shut and there’s some stick pushing this way or that way, being prodded one way or another. It’s either the inner calculation or some external forces. Should I come to some state where my calculations, the way I think, and all that are different?

R. Yes.

S. Meaning that everything is above reason am I waiting for some inner change to occur within me?

R. You will be able to know what truly is the Creator’s will and you will want to fulfill it.

S. Meaning at any given moment the Creator is in my spectrum somewhere?

R. Of course, in front of you.

S. Is that already considered a state of revelation?

R. No, it's not the revelation yet, but it's a condition.

30. S. (01:17:25) Question about the prayer. No matter how much we try to come to a prayer in the end there's some kind of desire to receive that does not let you come to the lowest point where you truly ask from the Creator. How can we help the society for each friend to truly defeat the will to receive and come to the prayer?

R. When the desire to reach the prayer will be greater than the desire you have in your will to receive.

S. I feel that each time we make an attack as the society or it's in the Ten, in the end, the will to receive, the inclination kind of navigates in order to receive. Each time it comes from behind and without paying attention it's like we think that we are somehow inspired, or operating in some special effort, but still each time again. What is a society or a Ten to do?

R. Strengthening ourselves, each and every friend, and being able to cope against his ego.

S. How to strengthen?

R. That this should be our position. See all of society as in his favor.

S. Even when I hear you now, I feel like my brain, how my feelings are saying, yes take it, it's good for you will succeed.

R. All right for now you're planning nevertheless to make some rational actions and according to your mind and emotion but according to the direction of the Creator or the direction of the society, “Within my people do I dwell.”  I need to connect to the society to the Ten in such a way that anything that they decide is desirable for me and if it's not desirable, that’s good too and I accept it by force.

S. How do we take this thing into the matter of prayer as well? About all the actions within the Ten it's really happening, it's not just in my Ten. How about what you said now about the prayer toward asking the Creator for an area that will change this point? How can the Ten?

R. We ask to be with him and with the friends together in a single point of connection during the prayer, before the prayer, and after the prayer always be together.

S. I also heard this out of a discussion in the Ten in a meeting that we had that a person when he prays he feels alone, he feels that he’s rapped in the Ten, alone but in that feeling, he's kind of alone before the prayer. Still, where will this force come from when you are alone before the Creator?

R. That he will describe to himself that he's not alone that he's with the friends that he embraces and in this mutual embrace they come to a complete connection.

31. S. (01:21:51) The question is does a person need to go above his reason to the reason of the Creator? How does a person get this is the desire of the Creator?

R. He has to follow the group, to be incorporated in the group, to receive from the group the thoughts, desires, and actions anything they are in, their views, and then you will carry it out.

32. S. (01:22:59) Is the state of above reason a state of being where you are always thinking that I'm helping the society to implement the purpose of the Creator?

R. First we work in that and then we see.

33. S. (01:23:20) How can a person break the resistance that rises in him when he is struggling to bring contentment to the Creator?

R. He tries to bend all of the opposite forces to connection with the Creator, to make them in favor of the Creator. To bend them, to force them against their will, but bend them that way.

34. S. (01:24:06) The world is a small world. He has the good and he has the evil. The nations of the world and the discernment of Israel. In order to emerge from that state in every decision that you make in order to work about reason he’s obligated in Prayer, no? So, the whole purpose is to turn to the Creator before every decision in the Ten?

R. Yes.

35. S. (01:24:41) We have all kinds of decisions in the Ten from the guidance and advice from you Rav, but we observe only what is appearing as important in my eyes, that is what David says in his prayers. The answer of the Creator is that when the light Mitzvot becomes graver

ones in my eyes?

R. No, it is when I can fulfill all the Commandments of the Creator, together with the group.

36. S. (01:25:38) It is written in the article, why will he see in evil days an iniquity?

R. This we will see these mountains later.

S. What does he mean that he is afraid to go in the work of bestowal?

R. That is if he won’t be allowed to get closer to the Creator.

37. S. (01:27:12) Observing the law, “Love thy friend as yourself,” is that going above reason?

R. Yes.

38. S. (01:27:33) I think you answered my question already. Is faith above reason when we have the resistance, we don’t want to connect, we don’t feel love, and we feel strong obstacles to love?

R. Yes.

S. We follow what the sages say, and we follow blindly?

R. Yes.
