Passover - Selected Excerpts from the Sources. #57

1. Rav’s Introduction: (00:15) Yes, we are continuing with the same topic, 'Come Unto Pharaoh' and how to exit the rule of Pharaoh and how much this path is a special path and it includes within it, many discernments. This is about our transition from the nature of the will to receive, which is the opposite of the Creator to the nature of in order to bestow, the Creator's nature. And certainly these two forms of nature are in contradiction to each other. They have between them an infinite distance and we have to cross from one state to the other state. Let's hope that indeed through the help of the friends, when we are all drawn to the purpose of creation, we will be able to reach that and also to show it to the entire world.

Reading excerpt #57. (01:43) “ Come unto Pharaoh..”

2. R. (02:56) But certainly it is the Creator who wages the war. He does everything and Moses is present in that and he learns from it what is the nature of the will to receive and how how unique it is, opposite the nature of the Creator, the will to bestow and from these two forms eventually rises someone, Moses, who shows the entire human race what is the purpose of this creation? That it should shift in its entirety from the intention to receive to the intention to bestow, from hatred of others to connection with others, such that through such devotion they help and support each other in order to reach being as one man in one heart.

3. S. (04:24) In the passage where it says when the Creator saw that Moses was afraid, was Moses afraid of not bringing contentment to the Creator and is that the only time when the Creator is with us is when we have that fear that we are not going to bring Him contentment as it says in the passage meaning both of us together; the Creator and Moses together?

R. This is the beginning of the connection between the Creator and Moses. And certainly it is the beginning of the connection with respect to Moses. The Creator of course is always connected with all of his creation, that creation exists inside of Him, so this is the beginning of the connection, the beginning of the study you can say the recognition by Moses of where he is, who he is connected with, who is managing him and how can he exist in order to reach the pinnacle of creation.

4. S. (05:48) What's the meaning that he put him into the rooms within rooms and showed him this monster?

R. The Creator opened up for Moses a little bit more then where he was for the time being and he brought him a vision a little bit ahead of what is this will to receive which Moses will have to fight so that he will know how to organize himself and how to speak with others, how to understand the human nature and to advance towards its correction.

S. To know this monster, when the Creator leads you, it's not supposed to be scary. How will we know Him when we understand that the Creator leads us there?

R. Apparently, first we need to be certain that we are going together with the Creator, this is what the Torah is always talking about. That if a person holds onto the Creator, to have a grip on him, to prepare, to subjugate himself and as much as he is connected with others, he is also more connected with the Creator because I dwell among my own people. And this is how we advance gradually.

5. S. (07:49) It's written that the Creator needs to battle or wage war against Pharaoh. The Creator is always also Pharaoh: how does the battle within himself, within a person?

R. Well, the simplest example is what is in the person, for example in the person there are multiple, different desires, different yearnings and he has to choose to prefer one of them over the others; this is how it works.

S. He needs to choose?

R. Yes, the person should choose. It is free choice.

S. But the Creator is the one that's battling Pharaoh.

R. After the person chooses, according to the person's degree of choice.

6. S. (08:52) If a person knows everything comes from the Creator there's no one else besides him: why is there fear? What is a person's fear?

R. A person's fear is to disconnect from his ego because then what does he have? He is seemingly an open space.

7. S. (09:36) There is a saying that you should take only what is necessary and the rest, give as much as you can. The question is whether this is the state with which the Creator enables us to overcome the state of Pharaoh and to receive the light and the state that manages him in that way?

R. Well, we will reach it and we will see.

8. S. (10:05) Why in this battle with Pharaoh do we need Moses? Why is the quality of Joseph not enough?

R. Joseph is an entirely different quality of a person than Moses. Joseph is the one who connects all of the yearnings of the person and he gives them a direction. Moses is from the name pulling that he gives power in this direction. Each and every quality determines for us the vector and the power of this vector; and this is why they cannot pour or merge into each other. But rather, these qualities are separated from each other, they are different very clearly in their direction in their intensity and how they are being used. Joseph unites Moses, brings out, he pulls away from Egypt and so on.

9. S. (11:53) How to increase this measure in me that to let’s say, I choose in me, the Adam, for The Creator to finish the work for me?

R. If you insist on it, you will discover everything.

Reading Except #58 (12:21) “Man's power, who must toil..” twice.

10. R. (14:11) Yes. Again we see something and it's opposite in as much as there is resistance, so we are able to develop the desire opposite this resistance, and they work together. This is why we must walk on the path so that each time we will feel that we are being drawn to the goal and each time we will also feel how much we are being repelled, rejected, opposite to the goal and in between these two forces, we exist with a free choice. And in our work on building ourselves in favor of and against, this is how we advance; this is how we grow.

Reading Excerpt #59 (15:05) “Hardening of the heart, in the words..”

11. S. (16:14) We talked about the fear, a person's fear to disconnect from the advancement in spirituality does not disappear? It remains?

R. It shifts into a different kind of fear, not to be mistaken to resemble The Creator, to keep what the Creator wants.

S. To the extent of the filling of that empty space, the fear doesn't go down?

R. No, it shifts into a different king of fear. Will I be able to keep the Creator’s will? Not out of fear already, but out of the fact that I attain his greatness.

12. S. (17:18) The hardening of the heart, what happens in the desire that the change is called hardening of the heart?

R. When a person realizes that maybe he needs to operate in a particular manner, but he seemingly operates against that. This is the hardening of the heart. It's some kind of stubbornness let's say.

13. S. (17:48) After a person performs a certain act of connection with friends or dissemination that maybe succeeded, he gets filled with pride, he gets filled with pride that he did something good. When I see that this happens to me, I understand that I am in the wrong direction, meaning I understand that I need to somehow connect this to the Creator and take care of none else beside him. But the work in none else besides him in this point, I don't know, it feels intellectual and not real because there is pride inside. How do we come out of this loop?

R. Only through the group. I have nothing else to say. If you are enclosed within yourself, then you can never come out to a different quality. But rather, only when you are connected with the group and you annul before them and you received through them new qualities. And then you become straight and on the path.

S. That's the flaw here, those actions that cause you pride or actions that you do with the group or for the group that's what I understand here?

R. I don't understand what you are asking.

S. A person performs a certain action for the friends, let's say an act of connection, to do a certain job and there's a moment where really there's that connection and there's a feeling of wholeness and everything is ok. A few seconds later, it doesn't matter, a few minutes later, a person starts to be prideful for doing that action. He says oh I did a good action. Congratulations to me, it was good. I understand this is not the right way, meaning I don't want to feel that pride, but it is there. What can I do? There is this pride, so how do we emerge from there to None Else Besides Him, to truly understand that?

R. If a person wants to change inside of himself a certain quality, then he has to pray to the Creator because who holds all of these qualities? Who changes them? Not the person himself, and it's not only by his prayer, but by his turning to the Creator. Since the Creator holds all of the qualities and he can change them.

14. S. (20:45) We are taught that there is no light but what to understand if instead he has his Klipot, there is no light?

R. He should pray. We ultimately have nothing to do, we don't have to be wise and to know the path and on each and every step of the way we need to know what to do exactly. We have a connection with the Creator to begin with. He gave us this desire for us to engage in it and to get closer to Him and we have to use that. This is why in each and every turn, in each and every step, anytime something is not clear it doesn't work. Well look at babies, a baby constantly turns to the mother, this is wrong this is wrong, I can't do this, I can't do that, do this for me, like this like that and she is willing to do everything. And he is constantly turning to her. This is how we are with the Creator don't forget about that. Especially when we have a great force of the ten so that through the friends, all of us together, we can demand from the Creator. We have no possibility that He will not answer us.

15. S. (22:33) Pharaoh hardened the heart and is compelling me to do something I don't want to and then a new vessel appears?

R. It can't appear in the same desire, where does this new vessel appear? Pharaoh hardened the heart meaning increased my desire, made it bigger. Now I direct those new desires of mine in the right direction with the help of the group.

16. S. (23:25) It turns out that what do we need to do in a state of hardening the heart, where should we take the forces from? And how to understand what is happening in such a state?

R. Only in the group dear, only in the group.

17. S. (23:52) Is it ok in the end to ask, for the Creator, for forces to agree or to justify him with all that he does in our ten?

R. Yes, certainly of course.

18. S. (24:53) What is the resistance between this push and pull on us, how can we keep it?

R. The push and the pull, the attraction in our work. They have the same importance. The same importance. And I need to use them in order to shift from the present state to the state that I choose that it is better, that it is the next on the path, which is more connection between me and the friends and inside of it, connection between me and the Creator.

19. S. (25:41) When the Creator hardens the heart of a person and a person doesn't need anything except for the connection with the Creator, when that wave passes, what does a person need to put his emphasis in the work so that on one hand he hastens time, and on the other hand not to be afraid of the next hardening of the heart?

R. Yes, mostly pay attention to these two points to perform all of the actions in order to push everyone to connection, all of the friends in the group. And to ask the Creator that He will perform this action.

Reading Excerpt #60 (26:43) “The hardening of the heart is only..”

20. R. (27:18) That is we see that there is a process here. An accumulative process, meaning that it comes and it connects and connects and connects and then it jumps like there is a new sign a new degree and it then emerges.

Continuing Reading (27:44)

21. R. (28:59) Yes, this means that the most important thing is not to stop, to continue even if you are just making zeros and it doesn't seem to you that you are advancing. But rather, each time you see that again and again and again you are far away from the goal. However, this is the truth that you are discovering that you are the opposite of the goal and you are far away from it. When you reach the complete revelation through these zeros when you have ten,000 or 1 million or ten million, then in the end, you jump to a new number. Jumping forward meaning that here there is, as it is written here, so that I may place and I may set these signs of mine within him. Meaning that one should understand that he needs to advance even though it may seem to him that he's going in the opposite way and now too we have such states. When we go through them and we see that there is no advancement from one end to the next and I even see the opposite. We've learned something today by which I realize that I am not advancing but rather to the contrary, seemingly I am going in the opposite direction from the advancement. So all of these things, we need them to be revealed in us in such a way so that we will be able to demand our true state.

22. S. (31:12) What is the difference between the states of not recognizing Joseph and the hardening of the heart? What work do we have to do in the ten in each of these states?

R. Only to connect, we don't need to think twice. The moment you don't know what to do, no matter what the state is or from what state, to what state, you know only one thing. If now we will go towards a greater connection than the one that we had then we are walking correctly.

23. S. (32:05) How can we turn the pain of the hardening of the heart into joy? Is it possible to return with joy and turn it to the Creator?

R. Yes, of course if we feel that we are operating against our egoistic heart in order to connect to the friends and be together with them. Then certainly, we should be happy, we should be happy. And in this way, we will advance. I am certain and especially with a group like yours, strong ladies, young ones. So you are able to do it even to leap forward.

24. S. (33:27) In the previous excerpt, how do we move from the hardening of the heart to having a new Kli?

R. If we understand what we receive the hardening of the heart for so that we will have a great need to turn to The Creator and to demand correction from Him, then the hardening of the heart we received it not as a hardening or a burdening but as help, as correct direction, and we turn to The Creator and we thank Him for it, this is how we advance.

25. S. (34:17) Even if we accumulate a million zeros and feel we are not advancing, according to the passage, it follows that each time letters of the Torah the forces in all the words are added in him are still accumulating forces even if we feel that we are not advancing and we have a million zeros, are these forces still accumulating within us?

R. Of course all the forces accumulate within us. We accumulate them inside of us. We want to advance along with them. We don't throw away anything that we hear let's say from our friends. And we constantly roll along with them.

26. S. (35:25) About the previous excerpt, where Rabash says that the necessity appears to pray. Meaning that the person is ready with one foot, is in the feeling of spirituality? Meaning he is asking not for himself? Meaning the quotient has been filled?

R. He is asking for the ten, what is the question? How much does he see himself in that ten? Either he is pulling this ten behind him like Joseph, like Moses, or he simply wants to be incorporated in them, to be in the midst of them and in that way to kind of sneak through this passageway. Through this transition stage from the feeling of our world to the feeling of the spiritual world.

S. It turns out that he already went through that period in which he feels that he's in the ego that he’s invested efforts and is not feeling anything meaning you already went through that period and a person doesn't return there, rather he conscientiously exerts into the center of the ten, and this is already a different quality of prayer?

R. Yes.

27. S. (37:28) What is the meaning in the ten - that we’re acquiring the Torah?

R. The letters of the Torah are the symbols. We are seemingly creating a certain graduation of states and we need to move for them. We have to go from there until the end of correction. Therefore, all our work is immersed in seemingly reading the whole Torah, going over it with all the words in it. From the first letter, Beresheet to the last word, Israel, so that we will be able to have all of that within us.

S. Meaning we acquire the qualities of the Creator?

R. Yes, yes.

S. It's all done through annulment?

R. Yes.

28. S. (38:55) What makes us jump at once from all these accumulations of 0 to the 1?

R. To the extent that each of us lower ourselves towards the group, lower one's importance, one’s greatness, one's understanding etc; in that way we feel more and more Incorporated within the group and then according to that the group rises.

S. Do we need a lot of stubbornness for that what you said about the hardening of the heart? What does stubbornness mean to reach that point?

R. We need to take care of this all the time.

S. What does it mean to take care of stubbornness all the time?

R. That I don't leave the path, I don't leave the group, and I want everyone to be connected.

29. S. (40:48) We understand through the zeros that accumulate more and more within me does it mean that I understand better and better that there is None Else Besides Him and that the whole world is filled with His presence, and at that moment when your “I” becomes completely annulled, in this manner you become one then you receive this one and you include within you all of the others and then the state of “I” disappears entirely and you realize that the role of the Creator is expressed within you and you have to relate to the whole world just like the Creator?

R. Yes. Yes, that's how it advances gradually.

30. S. (42:00) It's comforting to know, to feel that when things are going badly in truth we are advancing, so how can we take advantage of this state when we are in darkness is it through greater faith?

R. Yes, with a force of faith, with a force of our connection, with the group and with the Creator and in order to bestow; that's how we move forward.

31. S. (42:38) You answered to one of the friends that either I become incorporated in the ten inside of it and I can leap forward to spirituality, or I pull and drag the ten. What is the difference between these two states?

R. We have to constantly carry the ten, all the time, otherwise you won’t advance. You need to annul to the ten and carry it, each and everyone of them like a little child, like you carry a child.

32. S. (43:49) I heard from you that we have to go towards greater connection than what we had. How is it possible to measure the connection in our state?

R. We are not talking about measuring, we are talking about being drawn to a greater connection and we can't measure that yet.

33. S. (44:23) We heard in the lesson that we cannot fight against the ego because we will certainly lose. But we should fight against our nature, so what's the difference between the ego and our nature?

R. That is hard to explain. There are differences in this but I do not know how to explain them. It is better to say more correctly that the ego is the desires and our nature is our habits.

34. S. (45:18) You mentioned that we are going through states that seem to be opposite to advancement so I see that on the spiritual path and also in external world, meaning that everything is happening in the world or the external states that the Creator is showing us also for the purpose of us turning to Him for corrections.

R. Yes.

35. S. (45:53) How do we reach from the desire to ignore a friend to the desire to support the friend?

R. By seeing how dependent I am on them and that all my work is to incorporate in them.

S. What is the gain of this force that we’re trying to ignore or put down, do we gain anything from it?

R. This is the gap that we later invert to connection, for the tendency to help and that is how we advance; that we ourselves are trying to invert.

36. S. (46:41) In the excerpt it says that when a person finishes the work he acquires this one, what does it mean in our state to complete the work?

R. We, nevertheless, want to attain something and with what we want to attain. Then we can put a certain number on it, some symbol.

Reading #61 (47:20) “Understand people's questions about the verse come unto Pharaoh..”

37. R. (48:52) Yes, and this is how we advance, meaning, despite the fact that we go from degree to degree, we rise but each time we have a choice and we are in our inner intentions.

38. S. (49:29) When we work in the ten, we reach the feeling of connection. There is a point when we can really say that we feel the Creator because there is some love that develops between us. How do we keep that feeling of the Creator in the connection between us?

R. How do we hold on to it? How do we protect it, how do we keep the love of the Creator?

S. The feeling of the Creator: how do we keep it?

R. That is through yearning to be connected with the friends and depict Him as being between us.

S. At that point, you suddenly feel that, like you said, in the previous excerpt that you have all the zeros and then you have this one. And suddenly, you feel there that the one is what determines these zeros.

R. Yes, yes, yes.

S. But how can we stay with the zeros and not with the one?

R. Don't pay attention to that. It will change on its own. Just notice that you are, each time, you are more towards connection.

Reading #62 (50:48) “It was said about this come on to Pharaoh meaning..”

39. R. (53:18) This is what is demanded from a person just to ask the Creator for the correct change.

Continuing with #62 (51:24) “..to change your nature from the will to receive to the will to bestow..”

40. R. (53:22) Meaning just to increase the importance of the Creator, in which we want to attain, we must ask, demand, cry out, try ourselves to see that we are not capable, and then turn to the Creator. Let's say now how many times a day do I wake up to ask something from the Creator? Not like with a regular religious person for example or something like that. The inclusion in the correct nature of bestowal it barely happens and He does this only so that we will come to a need meaning to turn to the Creator to help us otherwise we are lost.

41. S. (54:40) What does it mean to be rewarded with the letters of the Torah?

R. That's called that we are coming to new qualities because every letter in the Torah is a depiction of a new quality.

42. S. (55:07) I have a feeling, an odd feeling recently. In the prayer when we ask of the Creator to take care of something, of the group, take care of the connection with the friends, or something in general, in life, it is all Him. So I do not understand the reason for the prayer it is as if I am robbing something from the Creator, taking it to a different place.

R. It is written, 'make your will like his will'. If you're going to ask what the Creator is asking for and what the Creator intends for you, that is already okay. Then you and Him are in one direction.

43. S. (56:00) Is it better to make the request more precise to which quality of the Creator the request is more close now?

R. I cannot give an answer to that. There is no sign here.

44. S. (56:28) You said that a few times during the day, I can awaken to ask the Creator, and it hardly happens. And if I don't see any results from my request during the day from, where do I get the strength to keep asking?

R. Incorporate with a group and you will see how you can take out of there, all kinds of additional discernments upon which you will have to ask.

S. I'm alone during the day. What does it mean to be incorporated in the group?

R. You do not need to see their faces; you can incorporate in them, in their inclination towards feeling them as one. And it could all be as one.

S. I don't understand this work, how should think that I forgot about everything and suddenly I begin to think about the friends. How does this process work?

R. Yes, yes. How the process works I don't know, every state from where you are. Make for yourself even all kinds of signs, like reminders so you will start thinking about it in every state of the game.

45. S. (58:02) In excerpt 62, it says and I will go along with you so that I will change your nature then it says but I want you to ask, I want to be asked so I have a question about what Rabash writes. The Creator says I'm going along with you meaning He wants to give something to us and we ask for it. It seems that what is more important is that we ask of Him and not what we ask for.

R. Of course it is more important that we turn specifically to Him and not the request because the request is a secondary thing, the main thing is the connection.

S. With what he related to what is the Exodus to Egypt for us is this related to having the giver being more important for us than what He gives us?

R. Yes, of course undoubtedly.

Reading #63 (59:40) “When one wants to work in order to bestow meaning to achieve adhesion..”

46. S. (01:01:34) The more I give an uplifted spirit to the friends, I feel that they are moving away from me. I feel that this positive energy is actually disturbing them. I feel that their responses as a result of my hardening of the heart. It feels like we are going in different directions. We prayed for so many years, why cant we advance towards bestowal? Rather we feel rejection?

R. The spirit of the society for them to receive this correctly, for that you need to learn them, to come closer to them, and then it will succeed. There's nothing to say, it is not simple. We must succeed, what can we do?

47. S. (01:02:57) In order to reach adhesion with the Creator, it says here that the Creator creates within us a deficiency, he hardens our heart. Is there a possibility to reach adhesion, not out of the hardening of the heart, but rather let's say from the importance that you get from the group, to work in the group.

R. We talk about how we need to incorporate in the society to help them, to take from them their desires and to collect them. And that from them, your true deficiency is made. Please, if it's enough for you, do.

S. It's just that all the time we read about this story that there is a certain enemy here, the Pharaoh. Why couldn't the people of Israel connect in such a way between them and, create such an importance of the Creator of bestowal without Pharaoh?

R. We need an external enemy, we need someone that we work against. And the Pharaoh is necessary here. Pharaoh is the egoism which is truly in the heart.

S. But this work with Pharaoh, it does not depend on us. The Creator reveals him, what depends on us is only the connection.

R. The yearning for connection depends on us and the Creator to uplift us. And this yearning needs to strengthen the resistance. But it does turn out that we are rising in the degrees and that every degree is higher than the previous one, specifically because there is mutual repulsion. On the other hand, on every degree we need to connect in order to rise upon it. And then it turns out, that the rising of the stairs can go and is dependent on two bi-directional forces.

48. S. (1:05:30) How does Pharaoh become the Creator?

R. We start to see that specifically the rejection is what arranges us, organizes us, and brings us closer.

49. S. (1:06:04) He writes here that the burden and hardening of the heart should cause adhesion, now in the lesson we make a collective effort, or in a congress we can feel the effort. But during the day, the person is physically just with himself, we can't do anything about it. Is the individual effort that he does also important, respectable? Should he shift to a collective effort?

R. We need both this and that.

S. Let's say I'm in the middle of the day, I'm by myself, and I make efforts to think about the friends. But the feeling, nevertheless, is that you are alone. Rabash would dance, what do we do in order to reach like a lesson or in a congress to reach this collective effort? Is there some internal thing we have to do?

R. Yes, we want to incorporate from the convention to the extent in which we constantly remain in the feeling of the convention. And that way, from convention to convention, we live.

S. But on an ordinary day, when I'm at work, all the friends are at work, we need to reach this feeling every day out of the effort.

R. Of course, yes. If you went to a certain convention, what does it mean that you went through it? Did you take it with you? Are you continuing until the next convention? Until the next degree?

Reading #64 (01:07:52) “One must believe that everything He feels now that he's farther away..” twice

50. S. (01:09:57) Earlier you mentioned that feeling that we acquired after a congress. The question is, how can we make it so that our feeling will continue like in a congress? Because usually the opposite happens, that is what I feel. That instead of going forward, we have a greater feeling of what we felt before the congress. What are we doing wrong? Or maybe it is our perception of reality and we are actually advancing in this way?

R. I cannot tell you it depends on how you live. Either you live in the time between the lessons, or you listen live from lesson until next lesson. Or during the regular days. So let's say the lesson in the morning and the lesson in the afternoon, I have a meeting with my ten, and I have maybe in addition some conversation between us. And like that, during these four meetings, I see my life. And it does not matter to me what else is happening to me, besides that there is the family that I certainly care for and I do not disregard the children, my wife.

And the work that I have to observe with my own powers. Then I do and I perform what I am asked to do at my job. Nevertheless, my life is divided into two. In the place where I'm in connection with the friends and in that which I'm in connection with the whole world. And actually the important thing for me is the connection with the friends of course, because through it, we come to connection with the Creator. The secondary thing is not that I disregard him, but this is already an earthly matter. It's a family, it's children, work, etc. That's how I divide my life.

51. S. (01:12:53) When I'm small, I come to my mother because what I care about is the candy. I do not care about the mother. Later when I grow up, I can buy the candy by myself and what is important for me is the concern for my mother. So how do we grow up in our relation to the Creator? How do we mature? How do we shift so that we don't want to solve our problems and get rid of our problems, but rather we want to reach him in order to have a dialogue with him. How do we grow up?

R. We mature by feeling how the Creator does everything in us. Our qualities, our feelings, and between us, the connections between us, the nearing and the rejecting, and all of that is done by the creator. The Creator is a network, a field like an electrical field. The Creator is the field like the field between us that connects us. Relative to him, we seemingly exist in one body. Like prior to the shattering of Adam. So this is how we need to relate to the Creator. This is what connects us, this is what controls us, this is what leads us to the goal. Where we will start to feel, fully our incorporation in one another. And to the side of this field, the Creator, we will come to the final correction this way.

52. S. (01:15:15) How's it actually calculated if someone wants the Creator enough to be rewarded? Are we expected to come to a stage where we cannot enjoy anything in the corporal life where we just want him and we can't even enjoy coffee?

R. We will gradually discover that all the desires and thoughts where all of our life is dependent only on the upper force and only one reason, the Creator. And we will want to be connected tightly, permanently. That is what needs to happen to us, that is what we are drawn to.

53. S. (01:16:27) We read in several excerpts already that the work is to obtain the desire and not the thing itself. And because of it, the Creator helps us. So how do you focus yourself during the work? Specifically on obtaining the desire?

R. It isn't exactly, I am not sure. I want to attain a state where I am in contact with the friends, in connection with the friends. In a state that I do not feel that there is distance, a gap between us. That we are already in a state where distance does not exist. Differences don't exist, where I do not see the bodies. I see the thoughts and desires of all of us uniting and rise to become one as Adam HaRishon. For this, I am yearning.

S. The place, the thing that I yearn to obtain the complete connection with the friends, the ability to obtain it, is it something that depends on my work? Or is it done on me in the end?

R. I did not understand the question. The ability to attain the connection between us, to us, for us to feel that we are as one body, as one heart, one desire, and one thought. To attain the state depends on the Creator. It's a success. But even before that, the Creator gives me such thoughts, such inclination that I do want to attain the state itself. Although I do not attain it yet, and then I am impressed. From this desire that awakens and I pray to the Creator with this desire. And thus, we advance.

S. That is what I'm trying to ask about, it turns out that we want to come to this connection, we want to come want to come to this connection more and more every time, but what determines that the Creator turns our desire into a reality so there is a connection?

R. We determine.

S. How?

R. In our demand for the Creator.

S. By what do we make the Creator turn the desire into a reality?

R. With our prayer. There's nothing more than prayer, than the address to the Creator.

S. But the fact that we increase our desire, isn't this our prayer to the Creator? Isn't this what we ask of him?

R. There is an action and there is a prayer and the prayer is in you. You actually asking for the next state knowing that only the Creator is capable of doing this, and you are asking for him for this. Meaning that you, yourself are not in that action. You come out of that and say that only you are capable of doing this. I'm asking you to do.

S. On what does the ability to activate the prayer depend? Kind of detect the place with which only the Creator can do it?

R. In complete despair from one's own ability.

54. S. (01:21:17) Does Pharaoh agree for me to awaken the friends, but with an egoistic intention?

R. The Pharaoh agrees to everything. The Pharaoh is really our loyal friend. All the time, he shows us where we are not okay, so that precisely through his guidance we are aimed to the Creator.

55. S. (01:22:04) The connection with the Creator isn't a cumulative process. The efforts we make, the process of the work, the work with the friends. You suddenly discover that all day, you've been thinking about the friends and you understand clearly that it is coming from the Creator. And you have this very clean feeling that only with the Creator and the friends you can discover the new world, a feeling of gratitude awakens. The question is, is it always like that, or do you have to have to start making the effort and then?

R. You will have such states that you will exert such forces in order to think of the Creator and the friends. But for now it's simple, the main thing that it is always to remember that before you is the group and from the group, you go to the Creator.

56. S. (01:23:33) The desire to pray for the friends, does that give us the ability to reach equivalence of the form? Is than an act of bestowal?

R. Yes.

57. S. (01:24:00) How is it possible to awaken a desire to advance qualitatively in the ten and in the connection between us without being too critical, without awakening resistance or rejection in the friends?

R. You first need to get closer to the friends, like you would with your children. Try to really be in one heart, as one person. Try to be with the Creator as he is one for all, and he is really one for all.

58. S. (01:25:24) In the noon lessons about the ups and downs, we learned that we always have to try to be innocent. When I'm innocent, I have to look at the previous descent and try to avoid the next descent. Is there a way to detect the heaviness in the beginning of the descent so that we do not remain in that state for a long time? So that we detect it quickly and immediately come to understand?

R. Yes. Try that, it's going to teach you exactly what to do next.

S. Is there a hint? What is the sign that the descent is beginning?

R. You will reveal it yourself. This is the study, this is the study. You will succeed.

59. S. (01:26:19) If I understand correctly, when we go together to Pharaoh to with the Creator to receive a desire, and the happiness of the heart, the burdening of the heart, we discovered that this desire has a quality to receive and quality to bestow. But I'm in reception and I would like to switch to bestowal, but I can't, this is why I need to pray to the Creator, and this is the ultimate goal for which all of this is done?

R. Pretty much, yes. Pretty much, your right.

S. So the question is, if I am in the ten and I have a desire to connect the ten, but in this desire there is not even a shred of the Creator, I do not see him. I simply want to connect the ten. Is it Pharaoh's desire?

R. No. If you exist within the ten, then you are doing the collective work even though right now you are unable to connect all of its parts, all of its elements.

S. Do I need to discover that in this desire to connect the ten, there is only the desire to receive for myself, without any bestowal?

R. It's not important. For any given moment, it's not important. You will be able to determine it later.

S. So concerning that what we say that there should be a desire, a request to the Creator to awaken everything I do in the ten. How important is it if we say that to connect is enough? Or is it already the next stage?

R. No, once you are with the ten, you would already need to connect this ten to the Creator. And maybe other tens. Here, the calculation becomes more global.

S. So the final correct state is that in every act of bestowal, I discover a demand to invite the Creator and I invite the Creator into these actions. Is this the correct final state?

R. All in all, yes. It's not the final, but the correct one on the way.

Reading #65 (01:29:34) “A person can always choose since before he is performing one commandment..”

60. R. (01:30:30) And the truth is that the Creator is concerned for the evil inclination, as he says 'I have created the evil inclination'. He says come to the evil inclination, come with me to Pharaoh. The Creator is always trying to increase the evil inclination, as it escalates the purpose.

Continuing #65 (01:31:00)

61. R. (01:32:04) Meaning why is the Creator always raising the evil inclination, the desire to receive, to a higher degree? Because, so that against the desire to receive, there will be the desire to bestow that we are inviting. And then between them, we are going to have a choice. Is it clear?

62. S. (01:32:36) I feel like Pharaoh is my reality, but Moses is also my reality. So there has to be some kind of a common point between them, isn't there?

R. Certainly there is a mutual point. Of course. What do you think, the Creator is operating the entire system? That he is above that he is above everything? That he is activating one force without taking consideration of the other force? Rather, all of it is calculated in order to advance the entire humanity. All in all towards the purpose of creation.

63. S. (01:33:33) We said that the Creator hardens the heart. So here, there is no half and half. The bad is worse, is stronger, so where's the choice?

R. He increases the heaviness in the heart in such a way that we have the opportunity from the heaviness to ask for help.

Reading #66 (01:34:05) “We should pay attention to come on to Pharaoh and believe through the worst possible States..” twice

64. S. (01:36:35) There are states where I feel the power of Pharaoh emerging from somewhere seems exterior and even controls me against my will. Sometimes I feel the power of Pharaoh within me as my ego. Which is the correct perception?

R. You will figure it out gradually, gradually you will figure it. This and the other of course comes from above and you will be able to figure it out, what comes from the positive force, what comes from the negative, how to turn to these two forces, how to combine them together into the one Creator, and so on. All of this gradually will arrange itself it will connect.

65. S. (01:37:27) I want to express my inspiration for the ability of our fathers to come out of Egypt to come out of the ego. I understand how difficult and important this work is, moreover that the burdening of the hearts that we get in the last generation. Let me tell you what is most difficult for me. It's not difficult for me to come out of the ego. It’s difficult for me to see the friends facing states where despite my prayers I see they are not getting help. It seems that way, how can I help them?

R. Continue to ask of the Creator for help for the friends.

S. In the exodus from Egypt and the reception of the Torah it’s true that they did the work, well seemingly in Katnut but they were connected physically. Today we are required to pass the correction to the entire world, that’s our development. Is there a connection between the two states and the difficulties that we get in the last generation?

R. Everything's connected and all the rest we will attain out of our life.

66. S. (01:39:03) Is the condition of the broken hearted before the broken heart? Is the heart hard before it breaks?

R. To see that our heart is a very very hard, stony heart.

67. S. (01:39:42) The Creator gives us a burning, hardening, He increases our deficiency and gives us also the filling. How can we help Him with our desire with the filling? Where and how do we help the Creator?

R. We do not need to help the Creator but rather for the Creator to help us because He is the whole and we are the lower. This is why we need to try to understand what we need to demand of the Creator; the quality of bestowal. This is what He has and we don’t. We should ask Him to give us the quality of bestowal, to fill with this quality of bestowal our hearts, and then we will be okay.

68. S. (01:41:08) From the worst states the desire not to be a slave to the ego but to the Creator is born. The question is from what state the Creator hears our general sincere prayer?

R. The Creator hears our prayer from any state if the prayer is true.

Reading #66 (01:41:53) “We should pay attention to come to Pharaoh and believe through the worst possible states..” twice

Reading #67 (01:48:03) “And Pharaoh drew closer..” twice

69. S. (01:50:39) In excerpt 66, can you describe what is it to be broken-hearted and crushed in spirit?

R. What is written?

S. That the Creator is close to the brokenhearted.

R. It is all those people who have given up on their own strength to attain the purpose of creation. To all those it is said that it is not with these forces that you come out of Egypt but you will get help when you need it, when you need it you will get help.

70. S. (01:52:11) In all the excerpts we've read, at the end of the day, the Creator puts us in a state of despair so that we unite. How can we get rid of this despair and just unite so the Creator doesn't get involved in our connections so that we really connect to bring Him contentment?

R. If you make a connection with your own pressure to be together instead of the Creator pressing you, then you will achieve what you want.

S. This is one thing that every time we need to get to some state of war.

R. There has to be a war because we are made of the will to receive and we want to come to work in order to bestow so there's two contradictory things between which there has to be a collision, a war.

S. So we don't have an opportunity to hasten the process?

R. We do have the possibility if we listen well and do as meticulously as possible what is required of us.

71. S. (01:53:54) In the text we just read the fear that is felt its fear of the Creator?

R. I wouldn't say it's from the Creator. If a person is afraid of the Creator this is already truly a high degree, they are still in fears from the waves from the Red Sea from all kinds of forces that threaten their physical life even.

72. S. (01:55:03) The heaviness of the heart brings suffering. Is it correct that the only method, the only means to go without suffering is to change the attitude towards suffering? How to do it?

R. The suffering is the suffering of the ego and you don't want to be connected to it, this is why you seemingly move away from it.

73. S. (01:55:43) The general reality that is connected lacks nothing; it is in balance and only the individual reality feels lack, meaning the only thing that's missing for us is connection to reach that same connected reality. How do we overcome everything the Creator is showing us before our eyes to erase it and arrive at a true prayer for connection only?

R. To come to a real prayer only for connection this is what we need.

S. But what the Creator shows me before my eyes is a million and one deficiencies that are felt in my reality, it's not that I can ignore it.

R. We have to continue until we succeed, that is it. There's no other solution to it.

74. S. (01:56:50) How in the evil that is growing in the Pharaoh that is advancing me can I make a decision, a choice, to bring contentment to the friends? What can help in this case?

R. It can help only if you cling to the friends, if you adhere to them, and by the way, you have good friends.

S. And if I adhere it means I'm receiving for myself and not for my friend?

R. No no you will receive because you want to help all of them.

75. S. (01:58:07) What is a prayer and how can we build the real prayer?

R. We can build the real prayer out of the connection of our hearts.

76. S. (01:58:37) What does the sacrifice of Pharaoh represent in the text it is written that he brings closer? What does he bring closer?

R. He brings the people of Israel closer to himself to him to the purpose of creation. To the purpose of creation, bringing closer means he's pulling them towards it, from this also there is the festival of the offering, the sacrifice.

77. S. (01:59:38) In general about the process that we're undergoing in Passover, Pesach, the accumulating the state of the revelation of evil and it's like there has to be a certain measure that is filled and it's not clear how does it get filled and when and we're going through this process for so long over the years and each year a new a person gets used to it he is able to contains the evil more and more and he becomes elastic until Ein Sof.

R. So he needs to be given more and more external problems and troubles so he won't be able to get away, there's nothing you can do, we have to see before us only one thing either we raise ourselves through requests and outcry above our egos, this is called The Exodus from Egypt exiting from our egos from the will to receive to the will to bestow or we remain in Egypt forever and ever and here is your burial place. That's it there are no other complaints, we were given a path and we have to realize it and implement it.

S. In what way can a person combine from one hand the patients and the ability to contain all the evil that is revealed and will be revealed in him until the end of correction and on the other hand be shaken every time that he reveals it and not to agree to it and to demand a correction, how to combine these two?

R. I think that if we unite in a way that we can unite today in our situation, it is enough for us to rise above our ego and be incorporated in that form of bestowal it exists above us. That's it, it's enough. Let's do it, and this is what will happen, we can do this because we exist in different conditions than any other generation before us and we exist in the conditions of the last generation so let's try to be the first generation in the last generation.

78. S. (02:02:36) What makes us cry against the Pharaoh's army?

R. We will read about this soon, either we cry out because of fear or we cry out to the Creator that we need to fight against Pharaoh's Army. We will see.

79. S. (02:03:26) How do we turn to the Creator, cry out to the Creator and ask for help if we are building him?

R. We are building the Creator out of our broken vessel, out of our desires to bestow that we assemble here and there and in this way builds the image of the Creator in us and along with it we turn to him and ask of him to help us, unite and connect to the extent that we can unite and are willing to be as one man with one heart and to that extent we establish and create the image of the Creator in us and then we feel that within us there are the qualities of the creator and then we in this way approach the goal.

S. So what do we ask for? Do we ask from the Creator the feeling, the sensation of the Creator?

R. We are asking for the feeling that the Creator controls us so that we would turn to him and cry out to him and scream to him and he will not be able to not help us.

80. S. (02:05:04) Continuing the discussion I can see and feel on the one side you have this burdening of the heart the hardening of the heart and all the other side you have, let's say, the softening of the heart so somewhere there's a point of choice. So how can we come to that point of choice let’s say when the Pharaoh is charging us to keep that let’s say the point of balance and then choose for the right side? How does that work?

R. According to what I understand I think it needs to come by itself, a person needs to make an effort without any hesitation as much as possible and in the end he gets help so that it becomes clear to him what exactly he needs to do and how to turn to him. That's it, it'll come.

S. So has it something to do with asking for the force of faith to be able to overcome to combine these two forces: the softening of the heart and the hardening of the heart?

R. Yes.

81. S. (02:06:41) Where is the love of friends in the story of Egypt?

R. We still don't see the love of friends you are right, if there were love of friends they wouldn't run away from Egypt and come out of Egypt we will learn these things. But there still is not love of friends enough to unite. It'll be afterwards at the foot of Mount Sinai.

S. When we speak of the force of Moses is the force of Moshe the force that the friends use in order to pull us out of the ego?

R. Yes.

S. That one can't release himself from prison, is this the force of Moses that's pulling us?

R. Yes.

82. S. (02:08:27) How to pressure ourselves in the ten with love without receiving the pressure from the outside?

R. This I cannot tell you. You need to speak among the friends and try to pressure yourselves in order to come to the new desire, you need to help each other. We learned about it, it's written, and Rabash wrote many articles about it because these things are very important.

S. Will we be able to avoid natural disasters and wars through that? By doing this on the inside, internally?

R. Yes, of course, you will.

83. S. (02:09:52) Is there a love of friends and mutual guarantee at the same time?

R. Yes.

84. S. (02:10:15) What is the state where both behind is the Pharaoh with his army and ahead the sea stands?

R. It's just so you know how you can run away from Egypt. That only in this way when you're pressed from behind and you have nothing before you and these threats are pressing you, only in this way can we cry out to the Creator help save us.

S. What does the Pharaoh become for us after the exit from Egypt?

R. There is no Pharaoh anymore. This is called coming out of Egypt. There is no Pharaoh anymore, he doesn't control us and we are not afraid of him.

85. S. (02:11:21) Is everyone constructing their own Creator or do we build one mutual creator for the ten?

R. We build it together between us.

86. S. (02:11:46) The Creator gives us everything we need and not everything that we demand of our ego. Now he gave me a ten and he says bring them to me and give them all they need, and a huge fear appears that I will not be able to give precisely what they need and where to get the forces to make the right choices and the right decision to help the ten?

R. We've been through all that. We've studied it, you have to read the previous excerpts we read. It explains everything there.

87. S. (02:12:52) It says Israel would come closer to the sea and they saw that the sea was stormy. Tell me it's like a play for us. What was it? The friends, the ten?

R. I don't know. It's a sea, it was a sea.

S. We need to arrive at hatred to feel the hatred that the sea stands up before me and gives me such troubles, he talks about troubles?

R. Yes, I guess yes.

S. These are the friends in the ten?

R. The friends too you need to keep changing your relation toward them until you come to a state where you are as one man with one heart.

S. And he says that until you cry out that I need to cry out and attain and enough, enough I have to cry out?

R. Yes.

S. Interesting. But we're not arriving at these screams and these cry outs in the ten. Everyone is very nice.

R. What can you do? Poor ten.

S. So we really need to come to the state in the ten?

88. S. (02:14:20) The path of the heaviness of the heart is bringing us to the freedom of choice?

R. Yes.

89. S. (02:14:45) It is written in 66 that the true heart, whoever feels that he needs more help because he is worse than other people, merits his request to be heard. How can a person check that he needs help, is it according to a sensation? How can one check it?

R. According to one's feeling.

90. S. (02:15:25) What brings us to such hatred to the will to receive that makes us merit the help of the Creator?

R. When we suffer blows and we feel that it is obstructing us, impeding us, and we cannot pass around it. Then we really hate it.

S. How does the overcoming that is internally between us affects a person, affects the ten, how does it affect the person himself, the system?

R. Of course it affects, because the person becomes a conduit, like a pipeline of the upper light, for the upper light that is influencing the system.

91. S. (02:16:30) How to use the will to receive for myself towards the friends, how to discern my Creator? To be for them an equal force of what I received from myself?

R. Simply come closer to the friends and work together with them, and you can do this, you have a good desire.

S. But if I cannot come close to the friends?

R. It's not like you can't. It seems to you this way, the Creator wants you to feel this way, that you cannot so that you will take him as a partner. So you would take him along with you, and in this way, the two of you will come to the right implementation.

S. But the moment I arrive at the highest desire of wanting the Creator to change me, then I'm asking for myself?

R. Don't worry what you say and what you feel, the Creator relates to these things from His state, so he understands you as well as the forces that awaken you toward him. He understands you correctly, don't worry. The important thing is to never to leave him and to turn to him every single moment, and he will already arrange these things correctly.

92. S. (02:18:45) Earlier you mentioned that our conditions in our generation are different than other, previous generations and also that we are the first generation of the last generation. What is this thing to be the first generation of the last generation? You keep mentioning it in the previous lessons, you also spoke about it?

R. We have to break the path for the real correction of all of humanity so that there will be a path, a trail, a road on which everyone will be able to go, and this is how we will advance.

S. What is the uniqueness precisely of this generation, that is the first generation of the last?

R. It's a time-dependent thing. It's like when you study evolution, the evolution of generations of life, the still, vegetative animate, and speaking etc. In this way, we too came from such incarnations into the state to where we are now, and we are in the first generation of the last generation.

S. Our ability to realize this stage in evolution. How do we do it? It's extremely unique and different.

R. Only connection, only connection. If in the previous generation the matter of connection was only intended for small groups here and there, Kabbalists are a chosen few in several generations. Today, however, we need to understand it is presented to everyone and we have to bestow upon everyone and dissemination has to be general all over the world, to people all over the world as Baal HaSulam writes, 'yellow, black, white, red, everyone comes to connection'.

S. I noticed that for us, the connection becomes a lifestyle that you always need to come back to. And against it all of the heaviness lays precisely on the connection, not other things, but really on the connection you are being weighed in.

R. Correct.

S. Why is it so? Why are all the challenges precisely on the connection?

R. Because we don't need anything else but connection. Besides connection, there's nothing else for us to do. Only to come closer and unite and bring ourselves into the structure of Adam HaRishon.

S. How to become, I don't know if it's stronger, but with more ability to handle the heaviness specifically as it lays on connection?

R. By helping one another. I have nothing more to say. Regrettably, I'm saying things that everyone already knows.

S. This is clear and even as I'm asking in some way I know what you're going to say?

R. What we need to do in practice, the main thing we need to do is how to fill up our time, all of the 24 hours in being drawn to a special state, which is connection between us and with the Creator, that's it.
