1. S. (02:29) Kabbalists use a lot of words, Hochma, Bina, all kinds of things we hear. What does it mean that this thing is called Hochma, they attained that it’s called Hochma, what is the meaning of that word?

R. All the words we have in this world have a spiritual meaning if we know the spiritual roots. Yes, table, is there a spiritual table? There probably is and the result of it is this table, desk. The question is how we understand the roots and can connect the branch and the root. The branch is here, you see the desk and the root is spiritual.

S. What's the meaning of the word because it gives a lot of force. He says whatever we don't attain we don't call it by a name. What are those letters that describe?

R. A word is like a formula.

S. That describes what?

R. It describes a collection of letters, and each letter is a sign of a certain Upper force, and the collection of these forces now operates; this is why a word is a certain action.

S. A word is an action so when I say table I describe?

R. You’re describing a force.

S. What’s the force of a table?

R. I don't know but it's a force that is ready for an action.

S. That word, it’s because it’s in Hebrew, it’s a matter of the Hebrew language?

R. No, but in them there is no connection between the Upper spiritual roots and the results in this world, the branches except in Hebrew. This is why Hebrew is a holy tongue, holy language.

S. When a person reaches attainment it says that a person attains something, so he understands its name, the name that describes it. What does it mean if a person attains something, he gives an explanation, what does it mean that I attained what a table is?

R. That you’ve reached the spiritual roots of the desk or table.

S. What does it mean that I reach the desk?

R. That you can use the force of the root, its qualities.

S. What does it mean to use it?

R. I don't know but in the spiritual world there are other possibilities and opportunities. Just like in this world you know what to do with the table, in the spiritual world you will know what to do with the spiritual table.

S. Every word is like a spiritual object that lets me do something with it? I don't even understand what right now.

R. Usually, yes

S. Everything in reality today has a name. A microphone, so there’s a microphone with a spiritual root and tomorrow there’s going to be a new root so there will be a spiritual root for that too, how does it work?

R. Not quite, but there are words that have spiritual roots, and some words don’t have spiritual roots.

S. How do I know or maybe it's not important?

R. It’s a matter of attainment.

2. S. (07:00) Is there a connection between root and branch?

R. Of course.

S. What kind?

R. The branch stems from the root, it’s a result from the root.

S. What does it mean that it’s a result from the root?

R. There are upper roots that create the results, the offshoots, the branches like the Tree of Life. 

S. The upper roots, what are they, the qualities of the Creator? 

R. No, it is what is connected to the qualities of the Creator.

S. What’s the difference between the roots, coarseness? 

R. Qualities, qualities. Let's say there are 613 qualities all together.

S. What's the difference between one and another? What’s the difference between root one and root two in those 613?

R. The difference between them is that they operate in different forces, in different states.

S. How does that become branches? Let’s say there’s one root and a second root. I don't know what the difference is but let's say there's one and two, so as a result there’s branch one and branch two?

R. Of course.

S. There are 613 branches in our world only?

R. Yes, well I don’t know but there are roots that come from the branches and branches from the branches. 

S. Now there's a disconnection between the corporal and spiritual world in our perception. The Kabbalist is the one who makes the connection between root and branch because except for him nobody is in the two worlds together.

R. Yes.

S. What does it mean that he makes the connection? He feels something of the quality of the Creator and suddenly in our world he feels it in the table like you said?

R. Yes.

S. What does he feel, let's say there’s a wooden table, what does he feel?

R. He feels that force that operates in the table that the one who made the table put it in. The desire of the person who wants this thing to exist is present in the table, that's why the table exists.

S. He feels forces behind objects?

R. Yes.

S. The forces are part of the person who made them?

R. Yes, it's connected to the person who made them and connected to the root.

S. The Kabbalist wanders the world and constantly sees forces?

R. Usually yes but there are those who don’t have a direct connection to the roots.

S. The people who made an object, they made it egotistically?

R. It doesn't matter, it seems to them that it’s egoistic, but they nevertheless did them because their upper providence operated in them, and they wanted to do it.

S. Our world is organized according to a reflection?

R. According to the will of the upper one.

S. But it changes or at least in our eyes it changes, that’s a result of what, of a spiritual advancement?

R. Spiritual advancement, that the connections become constantly more connected between all the branches, and this is how the world approaches correction into one world, one system.

3. S. (11:22) Kabbalists, our sages, from their connection between root and branch, what they felt, they determined all kinds of actions that the person should do. Maybe because of those actions he’ll find a connection some way between root and branch. Let’s say for instance Shabbat, Tefillin, all kinds of things like that. Is there anything in that? If we do those actions in corporeality can it somehow connect the root and branch?

R. Yes.

S. Why don't we learn about that?

R. First of all we don’t know because to know this you have to rise to the roots and these are very high roots and number two, we still haven’t reached it.

S. Will we reach it, are we on the way to it?

R. We have to reach it, everyone.

S. Then we’ll also do it in externality? 

R. If need be, yes.

4. S. (12:43) A Kabbalist finds forces behind all kinds of objects. Let's say behind a stone, a rock he can see what’s standing behind that rock in nature. When a Kabbalist sees all those forces in each and every object and he rises above and he sees the whole system, how it works, can he also make changes in the system, make corrections or does he not touch it, he just sees the forces? What does he actually do with all that?

R. What he can reach with his strength, there he performs corrections and where he cannot reach he leaves it.

S. A Kabbalist knows where he can make those changes for the benefit of the system, positive direction?

R. Yes.

5. S. (13:54) I want to ask about the states that the Kabbalists received. We’re speaking about receiving in order to bestow and in the current state that the Kabbalist receives, he already receives it in the vessels of bestowal because he knows how to use them already?

R. What he discovers he discovers.

S. That's not clear.

R. Not to me either, what you’re asking.

S. He speaks about understanding. The last degree in understanding is attaining in your hands?

R. Attainment.

S. Is understanding the highest degree of attainment?

R. Attainment is the final degree of the understanding.

6. S. (15:07) He compares spiritual attainment, its complexity with the complexity of the living body. Why does he make such a comparison?

R. There is probably some congruence, some match between this and that, it’s not explained to us but it’s there.

S. Can we use this knowledge?

R. No, no because we don't have the knowledge, only what Kabbalists told us.

S. Let's say we constantly learn more and more about the human body; we understand more of what’s going on?

R. No, we don't understand.

S. From not understanding does that mean, what, why?

R. We don’t understand man, how he's built, how his upper roots operate his organs, we don't understand it.

S. Will we be able to reach it, to understand it?

R. I think that at one time, yes, maybe, but for the purpose of correcting the world, there's no need.

7. S. (16:36) In our work we try to disconnect from the branch in order to attain the root. We don't work with the branches, we try to work in connection with the Ten and from there we attain, we disconnect from the branches?

R. What is your question?

S. Is there a need to work through the branch to reach the root, it’s not work that we do. Should we go deeper in the branches that we live in?

R. If we attain the root then we know everything about its branches and how to correct it, so that all the branches will be corrected.

S. If we go deeper in the root do we have a need to go deep in the branch?

R. No, then we can correct all these roots.

S. The branch is only a trigger to rise?

R. Yes.

S. We don't have to engage in it beyond that?

R. Let’s say we don’t. 

8. S. (18:10) When we work between us we work on the connection. What forces should we search for in that connection that resembles something called attainment?

R. I think that in connection between us we discover, we sort the incorporation that there is between us and then out of that it will be clearer to us the nature of each and every element of each one, this is what I think.

S. In this incorporation, let's say we look at the Ten, it constantly changes, is it something very dynamic that has a different life? 

R. Yes, it’s the mutual influence on each other.

S. Like it’s always living and he's speaking about a final degree of understanding. What does it mean to reach the end of something, how can something have an end?

R. I still don't know what to answer to this.

S. What should we aspire for in the connection between us that we’ll bring us to attainment?

R. The closer we are to each other the higher the roots our roots will be able to attain until we get to the top root.

9. S. (20:29) You have mentioned that we are not in the spiritual system, but we have to try to enter the connection to the system. What is this connection, how can we make it?

R. This I can’t explain right now, I don't have the time.

10. S. (21:05) You told the friend if I understood correctly that we don't have to attain the spiritual root of medicine because it's not needed for correction. My question is what spiritual root do we have to attain in order to reach correction?

R. We have to attain the roots where we connect together, together and that's it.

11. S. (21:46) Is the spiritual root also in the secret of the letters?

R. Yes.

S. Is the letter Shin that I have thought about for a long time, is it connected to holiness, to a spiritual root?

R. Every single letter is connected to holiness.
