1. Rav’s Introduction: Yes, this is our work, especially to nullify before the upper one. What does it mean to annul before the upper one? We are born into a certain rulership which is our ego, the egoistic desire and through that desire we sense the whole universe, all that exists, the whole reality. And there is another kind of rulership which is that of the will to bestow, opposite to our will to receive where we are not in control but another force is. And we are in such a reality that we have to replace our control with that of the upper one, meaning if we think about it as the upper one. Therefore it is said that there is no more than the enslavement of the Malchuyiot, meaning that we have to replace our Malchut, our kingdom where we are in control, with the kingdom of heaven. Meaning that the upper force, the quality of bestowal is in control instead of our force of reception. That’s essentially what we have to go through. Our whole nature on the levels of still, vegetative and animate is gradually pushing us to this, from the beginning of creation, from how everything evolved from this one grain of matter, corporeal matter, corporeal desire, until it evolved further and further and through the still, vegetative and animate it then develops in our world on the face of planet Earth.

Then we have to begin developing this will to receive in order to bestow, which means that we’re developing this matter of bestowal, a different substance to the extent that we demand and ask and pray for this to happen, we are addressing the upper force which is the force of bestowal, and it changes our nature. It dwells in us, it influences us, rules over us and by pressuring us we move from the enslavement of the will to receive, our initial nature to His will, which is the will to bestow, the upper nature. That’s our work in this world. Therefore quotes we’re now reading, they’re titled to annul before the upper one, meaning to gradually ask from the upper one to reach a state where we ask, where we want to nullify our ego. We want to be forcefully governed. I want the Creator to be in control and I’ll be under it in any sense. Of course, that does not happen because if the Creator had to coerce us to hear His voice then He’d have no problem doing that. Our whole work rather is that we ourselves discover how much we want His control, how much we need to replace our nature of reception with His nature of bestowal.

Only to the extent that we are convinced that that’s what we want then we can truly ask Him. Because what becomes clear at the depth of our desire, that’s what works and then He truly changes our attitude to reality. Then we begin to feel a reality that is governed by the will to bestow. So we have to try to be alert to how the desire towards bestowal to exit our nature awakens in us. To understand and recognize that we cannot do it on our own. As much as we try to go around it and do all kinds of actions it’s not going to help us. Again and again we go back to being in our ego. This is called recognition of evil. That we begin to gradually recognize that there is no way out of our original nature and yet we see that we can’t and there begins to be some recognition in us that the Creator can do this to some extent if He wants to, if He pulls us to Him. But He can do this action that we would belong to the force of bestowal just as now we belong to the force of reception. And I want it. I suddenly discover, it's not really suddenly, it happens bit by bit but each time that it happens it’s like a sudden revelation. I discover that I do want this, to be in bestowal. Whatever happens, I want it. Just to let go of my nature and belong to the upper nature of bestowal.

That’s how we move towards a state where we return to the Creator and ask Him for this more and more, and ask Him to take us and govern us and reveal to us what the force of bestowal is. Let's hope that we will advance towards that. Our whole problem is to feel the entity of the Creator, to feel Him that He’s in control that He governs, he determines what happens. And to that extent it will be easier for us and more correct for us to do everything. The sensation of the Creator, the rule of the Creator over us is called faith. That’s what we’re asking for. Let's read excerpts and we’ll continue.

Excerpt 1 (08:47) Twice

2. S. (10:10) We work in the 10, we pray for each other, for the connection between us. When will the moment of the control of the Creator come?

R. The rule of the Creator begins after you see that you are not in control and you don’t want to be in control and you see that the Creator is in control and you want with all your strength that the Creator will control. Meaning you forcefully want to bring the Creator to control all of reality which means yourself, all your desires and thoughts. So that in both your heart and mind whatever you got, you want the Creator's force to rule there.

S. It comes as a result of our efforts or as a gift?

R. It all comes as a result of man’s efforts, and also as a gift from above. Because the Creator is not forced. It’s not a system that is in your control, that you know that if I do this and that, then this and that will happen. You can do something, you think you have done something, and you’re not going to get anything in return. Or on the other hand you think you need to do a lot more. Then all of a sudden you discover the Creator, the revelation of the Creator. It is not in man's control. What‘s up to man is just to give the prayer that he wants to and he is able to do anything that is required of him in order to replace his control of the will to receive with that of the Creator, the desire to bestow.

3. S. (12:32) Why before everything we have to attain our evil inclination and then feel the Creator ruling over our reality?

R. How otherwise? We can only discern between two opposite things. Just like anything you measure: black and white, one and zero, sweet and bitter, and so on. You can’t feel one thing, only from one thing and it's opposite, that’s how you measure, that’s how you think. Anything in us comes only from two opposites. So if we want to feel the Creator you have to feel something opposite to the Creator. So one who is greater than his friend his inclination is greater than himself. If you grow from zero you have to go to minus one and then we discover plus one and then minus two and then discover plus two and so forth. That’s the only way. Because we are created beings we have to be composed of two measurements, unlike the Creator. The Creator's reality is complete goodness, complete bestowal. For us the bestowal that we attain is coming from reception.

4. S. (14:13) How from within this world with our desire to receive can we come to a feeling the Creator is in control?

R. Only by what we’re studying and trying to implement each and every step, that’s how we advance. What I recommend is to review all of our materials that we are studying every day and repeat them the whole day, whenever you have a free moment, just to keep reading it more and more. And you will see how it influences you and you change.

5. S. (15:05) Our correct prayer to annul to the upper one, I wish to annul to the upper one because of what? Why do I want to annul before the upper one?

R. I want to annul before the upper one because of many reasons but mostly because I don’t want to stay let's say in my will to receive, being in control and governing me, and I feel this is lowly. It’s ignoble to be under it's a rule on one hand and on the other hand I want to be under the upper one because I begin to see and understand how the will to bestow is unique and exalted. How great it is, how good and benevolent it is. So gradually I acquire what’s called grace of holiness and I want to be in bestowal instead of reception.

6. S. (16:25) He says in the excerpt that he has a desire to bestow, it’s called the pure man. So if he has a desire to bestow he is a pure man then he can go back to being impure and then back to pure?

R. Yes, to the extent you have a will to bestow, this is called feeling the light, and then you first acquire the correction of purity and then it gets messy again, and then you purify and then you get dirty again and so on. That’s how it happens over many degrees.

7. S. (17:03) How can we see that I am actually exercising, feeling the Creator's control by nullifying myself to the friends and to the Creator?

R. This happens truly only to the extent of my annulment before the friends and to that extent, I open for the Creator a possibility to influence me, to govern me. This is how I come to a state where I begin to recognize the Creator to know Him, I begin to recognize that the Creator makes all of my elevations and falls and I begin to feel why He is doing it, what is the benefit of this roller coaster. Then from all of these opposite states, I begin to identify the Creator, I start to understand Him and understand His being so to speak. What is called from your actions, we know you from His actions on me, these and down all the states I'm going through, I begin through His actions to recognize Him, the owner of the actions, the operator of the actions, this is how it works. It is the same in this world, when I am going to learn how a machine or some system works, the more I know this the more I can also say something about who created it, who designed it.

8. S. (19:18) How can we use actions that are habits to develop the right intention but the Creator controlling us?

R. We have to do actions and build habits, actions of bestowal until they become a habit and then the habit turns into second nature and by that we can exist like we now exist in the force of reception.

S. How do these actions we accustomed to do with develop the Creator because it became a habit?

R. The actions are habitual, but the essence of the actions each time that I receive and take on new ones is how we gradually recognize Him better and better.

9. S. (20:18) How can we truly bestow contentment to the Creator?

R. By wanting to be similar to Him.

10. S. (20:51) The Creator’s answer to our request that He controls us. Do we feel this more and more as the request becomes more calibrated?

R. Yes, of course, you feel Him more and more, through your actions we know you by all kinds of states we go through. We try to recognize the root of the state which is the Creator and by this we recognize Him, better and better and through that we come to connect with Him.

11. S. (21:45) What is required so the principal there is None Else Besides Him will not cancel that if I am not for myself then who is?

R. One does not cancel the other if I am not for myself then who is, this is in regards to get closer to the Creator to request from the Creator to get closer to the group and accordingly I get closer to the higher force. So it is absolutely not cancelling and it is not in contradiction.

12. S. (22:38) When he begins to recognize the control of the Creator to feel this, it turns out that the quality of the effort also changes, it turns out that faith above reason has less place here and instead of a running ahead. I would like to understand where our effort will be when we clearly feel the Creator's control?

R. Faith does not disappear, if it's really feeling the Creator one does not cancel the other, the above reason it cannot cancel one with the other because we cannot cancel faith above reason. If you want to get to know Him, if he wants to feel Him it is only to the extent He is controlling our desire to receive. Our desire to receive is never cancelled but is cancelled is the intention to receive, but our desire to receive is never cancelled. We accept and know him according to the extent he controls our will to receive, our will to receive is never cancelled, what is cancelled is the intention to receive but the desire is not. We talked about this yesterday as well, I am discovering that this is still vague for you.

13. S. (24:21) It truly is a subtle matter; it is not so clear, the nullification, the restriction of the intention or the desire. It says how can we help each other in this?

R. Our desire to receive is always growing and also the intention on top of it in order to receive also grows all the time. When we ask to nullify, we ask to nullify the intention to receive, but our desire is not cancelled, we want it to remain and even to grow constantly and specifically with the magnitude of the desire to receive can we bestow to the Creator more and more. The only thing to change is the intention, think about this more and more and talk about it more and more between you so it is absorbed.

14. S. (25:33) What is the reward of the 10, what does the 10 gain by me nullifying my opinion?

R. If we cancel, nullify our reason we instead receive the reason of the higher one and then we enter the higher world, the perception of reality through the force of bestowal instead of through the desire to receive. Then we see and feel how it looks in the eyes of the Creator and not how it looks in the eyes of the created beings on the still, vegetative, and animate levels. To the extent I receive the vision, the sight of the upper reality I am called Adam, man. If I haven't reached this I am called an animal. This is why it is said man or beast will be saved by the Creator, meaning the Creator takes us from the level of a beast to the level of a man and from the level of man we start with the level of impregnation, embryo. This is very big in the way to grow to the full stature of the human being, Adam.

15. S. (27:27) Can you teach how can I attach ourselves to the Creator and how can we give contentment to the Creator?

R. Think about this all the time. This is all very simple: whatever you do it doesn't matter what you do during the day just add to that, that you want it to bring contentment to the Creator in everything you do, it doesn't matter what you do.

Excerpt 2 (28:14)

16. R. (30:03) The Malchut of Ein Sof that makes the restriction, she in her intention thought that he will separate from her desire to receive and she wanted to work differently only with a level of resemblance to the Creator. As much as she can give it to Him and then He can give to her and there is a similarity between them. This is the only way she wants to work only by always equalizing her form with the Creator and this is when she begins to develop through the restriction, the line and the fulfillment through returning light. The main thing to understand is that there is the Creator and the created being and the created being is in constant attempts to achieve complete equivalence as much as possible with the Creator. So there is the concept of separation and the authority of the Creator and the nullification of the authority of oneself. We have to learn these things well and understand them so let's read again.

Reading 2 again (31:44)

17. R. And the authority of the Creator would remain.

18. S. (33:35) The Creator's authority when we nullify ourselves in the 10 and we incorporate in the friends or is this a completely new degree and we all annul towards the Creator?

R. This is not necessarily annulment in respect to the Creator or then you can say that but what is important is that we detach from the desire in order to receive and then relate ourselves to the desire in order to give, in order to bestow is already the nature of the Creator.

19. S. (34:15) So Malchut decides that she wants to be like the Creator. It is an independent action of Malchut but the Creator helps her in the restrictions so there are seemingly two authorities that the Creator acknowledges the authority of Keter so she could nullify?

R. All is done by the Creator only He brings the desire to receive and the desire to bestow. He does all the actions in the created being each and everything. The question is does the created being know this, does the created being want to belong to the Creator. This is the whole thing and all the actions are of course done by the Creator. The created being is just like a baby. It's only this side that it wants this or that but the higher one always does the action, the operator is always the higher and we are like babies in the hands of the Creator sitting on His lap like a baby and only pointing to what we want. So our work is first to be close to the Creator to realize it in His hands and secondly to show Him what we want that everything we choose will be only to bring Him joy.

20. S. (36:11) We learn that the purpose of creation of the desire to receive to be created is for the Creator to have someone to give to and it seems that the authority of the receiver will be nullified and seemingly he does not believe anything for himself and does not leave the Creator so the restriction is done so the higher light does not leave the Creator?

R. If I truly do everything for His sake then I do not leave Him and I want to do everything only for His sake, not to let go of him. That I increase and limit myself and grow as an embryo in the Creator.

S. So how can this giving happen without them being separated from each other?

R. I don't think that if one gives and the other receives they are separated. I think this can bring them closer but should they be separated if one brings the deficiency and the other one gives the giving, if they think only to bring contentment to each other, this brings them closer and not further away. The baby who opens his mouth and receives food from the mother brings joy to the mother she is giving him food and she receives joy from feeding the baby, so where is the oppositeness?

S. It is difficult to understand the example.

R. Everything follows the intention if one receives and the other gives, but both do it with the right intention then they are attached to each other.

21. S. (38:35) We make actions in the 10 that helps us to get closer to the quality of bestowal but what does it mean to annul before this reality what should I do inside of me?

R. What should I do? I should do everything in order to feel the being of the Creator, this is what I need to do. By that, I try to come closer to the friends and feel their desires. By this I am teaching myself how to reveal the Creator, what else am I missing to feel the Creator. This is why it says that from love of people to the love of the Creator and it is hard for me to use different words or express it differently, it is as Rabash writes that the outstretched land with many miles between us will not separate us.

Reading 3 (40:07) Twice

22. R. (42:15) This is what stops us from receiving fulfilment, revelation from the Creator, all the spiritual world, it is our desire to receive what conceals everything.

Reader continues (42:30)

23. R. (43:52) So the man will gradually come to know how his desire to receive limits him, denying him from seeing the true reality and he puts him to death through his whole life not letting him to feel the essence of life at all. The purpose of life, how to live correctly and in addition the more he exists he sees that his development in desires, and thoughts, and wisdom, and the culture, and education, and whatever it is, it is all working to his detriment in the end. To such an extent that we are coming to a state of self-destruction and the shutdown of all our systems. Meaning the desire to receive itself is called our help against us, showing us that we reached a dead end and it is doing us a great favor by showing us that we have nowhere to run, nowhere to escape, nowhere to progress but instead we are not going to succeed in our development this is called help against.

Then reluctantly we begin to search for another solution and then we find the solution, we find the solution being in our nature it puts us to death and the reason it puts us to death, because it is in order to receive. So we have to develop to get rid of the desire to receive so how to do this and here we acquire certain additional force from nature that will take us out, that can bring us up from in order to receive from the thoughts and calculations only for ourselves because by that we see that they are going to very bad states. By that we can bury ourselves and our whole civilization and consequently we begin to look for what to do and this is what people have done thousands of years ago with their questions and they came to a state that what managing them is not the same desire to receive what controls us. The opposite the desire to give and this is what is developing us, the desire to receive some from within the desire to receive will discover how much we have to turn it into its opposite and this is called I have seen an upside down world and they said this inverted world and this is how we came to the development of the desire of receive and following to the development of the desire to bestow through us and today everyone knows this method and we start to implement it in practice.

24. S. (47:30) Everything that happens in the 10 is the will of the Creator including the feuds and resistances and we have to surrender to it and understand it’s all for our own good?

R. Of course it’s all for our own sake. What do you think, the Creator has some egoistic desire, He seeks to harm us? He cannot harm anyone. He can only do maximum good, and indeed what He does, all of His actions are the best possible good, meaning 100%, not less; each and every act, except it’s not revealed to us. But this is what we’ll attain at the end of our development where we will be sufficiently developed to discover creation from beginning to end.

25. S. (48:40) Here he writes: I give you anything you want and everything your soul desires, but first give me your soul. Is this a condition, is this a law or is it a state that man goes through? Because it sounds like an insurance policy where you don't read everything but there is small print at the bottom that twists things around so I wanted to know what this sentence means.

R. True. It’s always like that because it depends on your resolution, on how much you can see, how much you can understand. So it depends on your development. We are in the world of Ein Sof now, at the end of correction. We are at the end of correction but we are revealing it gradually, according to how much our senses open up, that’s it. It’s not like something changes except our own qualities allow us to receive, to perceive more and more.

26. S. (50:05) I want to express gratitude for receiving this new breath of life and we are going towards the congress. Is it possible to attain Ibur in the 10 if I was dealing with other methods before?

R. Forget about what you had before. A person has to erase everything he had and continue on the new path. That’s how we’ll make it. Don't torment yourself about what you had or what you’ve done, none of it has been you. The Creator did everything and none of it was on your behalf.

27. S. (51:21) What to do when we feel that we lose ourselves in the process?

R. In what is he losing himself in? By learning that he’s an egoist? I don’t get it. In what, where did he have any sense of self or independence which he now feels he has lost? Explain it to me. OK we’ll wait until you discover it.

28. S. (52:26) Do we need to be willing in heart and mind in order for our qualities to take on the shape of bestowal? Do we need this willingness, readiness?

R. Of course. That’s what we are learning. Before we attain it we are learning about these states so we will somehow try to come closer to them, of course.

S. And this willingness is through a constant request that the Creator will influence us until we begin to feel this way and want this way?

R. Yes.

29. S. (53:34) How can we annul when we are constantly under corporeal authorities like for example a boss, police officer, politician, all of this in general?

R. You need to try and feel that the Creator is always with you. And He is the one who determines all your actions and your thoughts and your desires and consequently what you do is you are doing it as if you are agreeing with Him, as if you have a partner. First of all you turn to your partner and then you carry out some action in your heart or in your brain with him together. And then you can say that you yearn for adhesion.

30. S. (55:07) In order to recognize the Creator we still exit our will to receive, or ‘through your actions we know you’ we try to recognize Him?

R. The important thing is to keep going. Either way it will get you to the same result, the revelation of the Creator.

31. S. (55:45) He writes in the excerpt that first he wants to take his soul and then the person asks who do you give if not to his own authority. So what do you give after you give this soul to the Creator? If you give away the soul...

R. You receive within the will to bestow.

S. And how does a person feel that, where is it perceived?

R. In his desire to bestow. It’s called, in the reflected light, Ohr Hozer.

S. And what is that after a person gave his soul, what is that will to bestow, how does it manifest? R. I don't get you. He’s willing to be in bestowal so his calculation will be not in him but in the Creator. So?

S. And then in this calculation he receives?

R. Yes, in this calculation he feels results.

S. What’s unique about this calculation, different because he’s doing the calculation still?

R. But how much is he giving to the Creator? That’s the new calculation that was not there before.

S. And the Creator on His part gives the same in both states?

R. I don’t know what you’re saying. The Creator on His part gives the two states. The Creator gives the will to receive. The Creator gives the will to bestow. The Creator reveals everything. Except it’s preceded by the effort a person puts into his request. That’s the only thing a person adds, the request on his behalf.

32. S. (57:49) If it were possible to point to the thing that most detains the person from achieving true prayer, what’s the biggest disturbance that we need to affect?

R. Turning to the Creator.

S. What prevents the person from turning to the Creator?

R. His ego. Those disruptions conceal from him the need to turn to the Creator.

33. S. (58:23) What does it mean to give away our soul?

R. With everything I’ve got, I want to use it to bestow to the Creator without anything in return to me.

Excerpt 4 (59:00)

34. S. (01:01:14) If in the process of annulment the will to receive constantly grows and the intention to receive grows, when does this inversion happen, what happens before that?

R. Which inversion?

S. Of nullifying my own authority and receiving the single authority?

R. When a person sees that he is between two authorities he wishes to cancel his own authority completely and annul to the upper one completely.

S. What if this completely though if the Creator is always working to increase the desire more and more?

R. The Creator increases his will to receive and He asks to be adhered even more to the

Creator, meaning the will to bestow.

S. When does he annul it in practice?

R. In practice he annuls it each time. He annuls that measure the Creator added in his will to receive. He asks the Creator to annul the desire to receive, meaning the intention to receive, and to place on it the intention to bestow. The desire is one, the desire to receive, only. But it had the intention to receive into the desire and now it's changing in order to bestow from within the desire.

S. So when do we come to work in order to bestow after the desire is nullified?

R. Until we get to a state where over our entire will to receive there’s the intention to bestow. Then we begin to work in receiving in order to bestow or more correctly to bestow in order to bestow, the degree of Bina, and later to receive in order to bestow, the degree of Keter.

35. S. (01:03:17) There's the authority of the will to receive but that of bestowal, it’s unclear when a person identifies that.

R. He feels the Creator. To the extent he wants to bestow to Him then it is clear to him that he is bestowing. For the time being let's think about it this way.

36. S. (01:04:03) What do I really have inside of me in the spiritual reality?

R. What is inside a person as far as a spiritual reality is nothing. He only has a spark from which he has to develop the intention to bestow.

S. How do you refine this spark?

R. Through this work we've been discussing all this time.

Excerpt 5 (01:04:48) Twice

37. R. (01:07:55) How do you go through the process of ups and downs in the 10 trying to hurt the friends as least as possible?

R. Constantly thinking about how do you help the friends. By constantly thinking to help the friends you go through the ascents and descents in the best possible way, the easiest and most beneficial way.

38. S. (01:08:39) How is it possible to picture this desire without a thought, as it looks like in any thought there's already an intention to receive for oneself?

R. This is correct. If you do not think of the intention, it’s always the intention to receive for oneself. Only if you are preparing yourself when you ask the Creator to change your intention in order to bestow, to that extent you can be in the intention to bestow. The intention to bestow, according to the intensity of the intention, you also discover the Creator.

39. S. (01:09:31) What labor are we talking about in the excerpt?

R. Labour and exertion means effort against the will to receive.

S. When a person feels that any prayer, any labor has to come from the center of the 10, is that a beginning of the transition from his authority to the singular authority?

R. Let's say yes.

40. S. (01:10:02) All of the excerpts are beautiful but I see them only speaking as singular so how can we make our 10 a composition of a group, a single unit to come under a single authority, and a single mentality under one authority?

R. This is an excellent thought. We need to embrace it, to protect it and to implement it. Try to speak about it with the friends and do it together and you will be successful.

41. S. (01:11:00) The thought towards the Creator to change our intention has to be constant and always in our mind?

R. As much as possible. It is written about it: may you pray all day long. That all day long we try to be adhered to the Creator, all the time.

42. S. (01:11:35) The Creator puts us in states that are more tense where it feels like there’s more and more heaviness in the work. Is this the help made against me?

R. He demands you to turn to Him with greater force.

S. So that’s the whole process right?

R. Yes, He wants to pull you in more. This is because of all of His love.

S. If a person can't manage to keep up with the pace?

R. It is okay. Try, together with the friends. Help each other since the Creator is working on all of you together.

43. S. (01:12:31) After annulment I feel completely empty. I am like dead asleep, what does it mean that I am new?

R. It means when the Creator is giving you new forces and He pulls you in again, you feel yourself as new. As it’s written: you will renew your youth.

44. S. (01:13:17) In the process of annulment there is a kind of fear to lose yourself as if you disappear in the others. What do you do about this fear?

R. In the process of annulment there are many calculations, many fears but together with the friends you can go through it very quickly. Keep going forward. You will see how all of these disturbances that you have on the path are nothing but your imaginations, they’re not real.

45. S. (01:14:08) He writes that a person overcomes his desires and thoughts and accepts himself as the guest and the Creator as the host?

R. The fact that he wants to receive from the Creator thoughts, desires, actions, the Creator should want him the way he wants. This is called him being the guest and the Creator being the host and he wants to be in the Creator like an embryo.

Excerpt 6 (01:14:47) Twice

46. R. (01:17:36) You said that in ascents and descents we don't want to harm the friends but to help them. How do we aid a friend in ascent and descent?

R. I don’t know. You need to see how you can help. Rabash writes many articles about it. Read more articles.

47. S. (01:18:09) Why is annulling oneself considered preparation?

R. Because you do it for the sake of preparation, for the sake of your connection with the Creator. In order to get closer to Him you first have to annul, and from annulment you come to equivalence of form as much as you can.

48. S. (01:18:50) How do we reach a prayer from the bottom of the heart in the work, in the 10?

R. Through connection between you. What’s not clear? Through connection between you, you come to a prayer at a power that the Creator will hear it, even if it's very soft, very weak. But if it’s connected to everyone in the 10, the Creator hears it. You don't need to cry out, shout or scream. You don't need to do anything, just be connected. Then the little tweet you do reaches Him completely.

49. S. (01:19:53) In relation to what you answered the friend in the 10, we’re ready, the entire world Kli is ready to unite. How do we raise a prayer together to the Creator?

R. It's good that you feel you can’t wait anymore, I’m happy to hear it. So if you can’t wait, do it, do it right now. And how do you pray? Very simple. Bring your hearts together, meaning your desires, so they will all be in order to bestow, each one to some extent. But all of you together will create enough power to impel the Creator to answer you. And then you will feel in the connection that you’re making among yourselves, you will feel the response of the Creator.

S. The entire world Kli, can do this now?

R. I don't know if you can do it, and now, but try to do it. The fact that you can do it, yes. Will you do it, that’s already a question for you and not for me.

50. S. (01:21:36) What does it mean only to bestow and not to receive anything because the Creator still sends us things and therefore we receive like the guest and the host. So what does this actually mean?

R. What I demand, what I ask, what I beg of the Creator, to help the whole Kli, the whole vessel and correct the whole Kli. And for me I don't need anything except for the strength to ask for everyone.

Excerpt 7 (01:22:35) Twice

51. R. (01:24:53) Meaning a person has to know first of all that he is far from the work of bestowal and from the Creator.

Reader continues: “ A person is asking of the Creator for something that there….”

52. R. (01:25:15) This too he needs to know that he can't convince his body in any way.

Reader continues: “and at that time a person sees something new that he did not know….”

53. R. (01:25:42) In other words he asked and asked and asked to have the power of bestowal and didn't get it. Why didn't he get it? Because this power of bestowal was not directed for the benefit of the Creator.

Reader continues: “This new awareness that the person attains is that he sees….”

54. R. (01:27:16) The article is clear but I don't feel any objection from the body and I don't see also the prayer as being fulfilled for the 10. So does this make it wrong or is it just there has to be more heart?

R. Yeah, keep going and it will happen. You’re on the right path but you haven't come to the state that you yearn for and want it to happen. Keep going.

55. S. (01:28:03) He writes that it's up to a person to be hopeful that a person will bring him closer.

R. Yes?

S. Is it possible to reach a state where we’ll do everything possible and it won’t happen?

R. I haven't seen such a thing nor read about such a thing. In principle for all our efforts we have to get an answer, if our efforts, our request is correct. But still, above it all there is the will of the Creator. If it needs to be, it will happen. If He needs it, it will happen. If it's not needed it won't happen. Let's say for example it is certain that at the time of the ruin there were many people who wanted with all of their heart that everything would be okay, but they didn't succeed. It’s as if the Creator was not listening anymore because there's a time for judgment and a time for mercy and there are other calculations. So it's hard to answer your question.

S. That we’re in the last generation, it can help us?

R. I don't know. I'm not responsible, I’m not in charge of the last generation. The little bit that I do know I say. But the main thing we read in the writings of Baal HaSulam and Rabash, we see that it’s also not very clear. We have to pay attention and make all the efforts. And then whatever happens, happens.
