Part 2: Preface to the Wisdom of Kabbalah. Baal HaSulam.

Reader: Yes, friends, we are in an advanced stage in the "Preface to the Wisdom of Kabbalah,” the series of lessons that Rav gave, and we are in and advanced lesson,  lesson 6, the third part. Hence, we will dive right into the lesson, and then we'll have time for questions, and to scrutinize the place that we're studying. And we're not forgetting why we're studying the Pticha, about the upper worlds.

M. Laitman: (00:36) So, we had a Tabur, below the Tabur, the general Tabur of Galgalta. Until the Sium, we had ten Sefirot of Nekudot, Nekudot of SAG: Keter, Hochma, Bina, Hesed, Gevura, Tifferet, Netzach, Hod, Yesod, Malchut. Till the middle of Tifferet, we had the second restriction. This new place is called Parsa. It's allowed — the light is allowed till there and not beyond that point. The vessels of Keter, Hochma, Bina are called Galgalta ve Eynaim. Sorry — Keter, Hochma, Bina are called Galgalta, and Hesed, Gevura, Tifferet are called Eynaim. Together they are called Galgalta ve Eynaim. The vessels below the Parsa, until the Sium, are called AHP. Why? The third of Tifferet is called Ozen, NHY is called Hotem, and Malchut is called Peh. We didn't learn this?

Student: We learned this?

M. Laitman: We did, that's why I'm just saying it briefly. The place from Tabur to Parsa is called the place of the world of Atzilut. It will come out later. The place of Ozen, the lower part of Tifferet, will be the place of the world of Beriah. Netzach, Hod, Yesod will be the place for the world of Yetzira, and Malchut will be the place for the world of Assiya. After that, there was a coupling in the Rosh of SAG. There was a coupling on phase two over one in the second restriction. So, we had a coupling which the light filed this vessel to the Parsa. This place was divided into Keter, AVI, and ZON. AVI, I'm writing that their state was face to back. This state is called Katnut [smallness] of the world of Nekudim. Afterwards, there was a coupling on phase four over three, on the next record. From that, the light came to Keter and to Abba ve'Ima, went through the Parsa. When it passed through Abba ve'Ima, so below Abba ve'Ima and below here, the shattering of the vessels took place. From this shattering of the vessels, this vessel that shattered was divided into eight parts. We didn't learn this, right? So here, we have ten Sefirot. This is in the Guf, and this is the Rosh. Again I'm writing, Keter and Abba ve'Ima. Just Abba ve'Ima are already face to face. This is Rosh, and this is Guf. The Guf are ten Sefirot. And from these ten Sefirot, we have the first nine and Malchut. Now, what happens here? In all the Guf, you have eight parts called the eight Melachim, eight kings. And in every king, there's a vessel. The vessel is called HaVaYaH: Keter, Hochma, Bina, Zeir Anpin, and Malchut. Keter is the tip of the Yod, and the rest is Yod, Hey, Vav, Hey, HaVaYaH. Four parts: Hochma, Bina, Zeir Anpin, Malchut, in every vessel. So eight times four is 32.

M. Laitman: (07:22) In Gematria, it's Lamed Bet. Lamed is 30 and two is Bet. Meaning, we have, all in all, in every vessel, 32 parts. If we have the first nine Sefirot, so it's nine. And if each one of them has 32 parts, so it's 288. In Gematria, it's Rapach, 288. And Malchut only has one part, which is 32, Lamed Bet. So together, it's Rapach plus Lamed Bet, it's Shach parts. Or same thing if you do 32 times 10, 320 parts. No matter which way you want to calculate it. What does that mean? It tells us that, all in all, in the shattered vessel, there are 320 parts that have to be corrected. In which way? 288 parts don't belong to Malchut, and only the part of the Malchut which is called Lamed Bet, or Lev — it means heart. So, the stony heart, that's the only part that cannot be corrected. Lev HaEven, the stony heart, or the heart of stone. And the Rapach, the 288, you can correct.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (09:23) Can you return to the part about the eight there?

M. Laitman: The eight of the eight kings, the eight parts of development in the shattering of the vessels, each part is included of HaVaYaH, which is 32. So, each part that shattered, shattered into 32 parts, and we have ten Sefirot. So ten times 32 is 320 shattered parts. Out of them, what is possible to correct? What isn't part of Malchut. What is part of the nine, first nine Sefirot? So 32 times nine is 288 parts, which is possible to correct after the shattering of the vessels. And only Malchut, that is a stony heart, its 32 parts cannot be corrected.

Student: Please, the first nine.

M. Laitman: The first nine Sefirot, from Keter to Yesod.

Student: The Malchut that we wrote down there is equal to it. It's not in Gematria.

M. Laitman: No, Malchut is one. You have nine Sefirot and the last one.

Student: It's similar here, because here it's Lev, and also there it's 32, and also 32 there.

M. Laitman: Malchut is one Sefira. It includes 32 parts. Okay, you can ask. It won't help anyway, but you can ask. I remember myself. That's easy. Within a month, two people get it. For me it took, I don't know, two or three years until I started understanding where I am and what's preventing me. This was different 20 years ago than it is today.

Student: Why is it…

M. Laitman: The stony heart, Lev HaEven?

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (11:44) Why is Malchut not possible to be corrected?

M. Laitman: From the time of the first restriction in the world of Ein Sof, from there, it can’t be corrected. That's where she was restricted. What did she say? That I don't want to use my own qualities. I can't receive there in order to bestow, so I'll use the first nine. What's the first nine? That I'm included of the first nine. Here too, what's going to happen? We'll see a result of the shattering.
