1. Rav’s Introduction: We, who are learning from the Torah about Joseph the righteous Joseph, the foundation of the world, Yesod of the world, who actually leads a person into his ego. He establishes the connection with our ego, with Pharaoh. And that's what happens until a person discovers through Joseph his connection with our sublime qualities which are Moses. This quality of Joseph, it's not that it's important, it's everything. We're going to read a few excerpts in a minute about it. It's something through which we begin to know the Upper system. Through it we can unite a little bit, thanks to Joseph. The fact that we can try to extract something from spiritual qualities in order to approach the Upper Force and know godliness that's also the quality of Joseph. The fact that as much as we, the more we connect, the more we can discover ourselves on spiritual degrees. Every single spiritual quality that we begin to know, we begin to know it through Joseph, through Yesod, through the connection between us and therefore our whole foundation.  What does it mean that you have righteous Joseph and Yesod, the foundation of the world, that Yesod of the world, it is that condition that through connection, through Yesod, we come to know godliness and all the other qualities, all the other sublime qualities. They begin to develop it specifically through Joseph, this is our work, Joseph is the feeling, the knowing, the attainment that is closest and most required, connection in the group through the point of connection in group, we begin to know this quality. There's a reason the Torah shows this what happens with Joseph the selling of Joseph. The brothers still don't understand or feel because they're higher than him, they don't recognize this quality of Joseph. Joseph is small, he is the youngest.  Why is he so conspicuous, why is he standing out like that? It's the Bible story, the story from the Torah reminds us of that, we will learn it, but the important thing for us is that Joseph points, brings us to connection. Joseph doesn't have a quality of his own other than being a collection of all the other qualities, the inclination to connect and the connection to the Creator. He shows us the common quality, from all the rest of the brothers is included and becomes clarified under the growing will to receive which is Pharaoh. Therefore, from this Yesod, from this quality, comes nourishment to us, vitality, force of attainment, is all through Joseph, including the revelation of Pharaoh. Because the good Pharaoh at the beginning of enslavement in Egypt, when you don’t feel it as enslavement, on the contrary, we develop and it's all through Joseph. Joseph is the beginning of the attainment of good and bad in our lives and therefore we need to feel him as something, the closest thing to us, let's try to know him.

2. R. Well, we will learn more excerpts and see how Kabbalists speak about him and what we can get out of this for us. How we will get to know this quality more and more, and we will implement it. Implementing Joseph is mainly in the connection between us. That is why it's called all Yesod, Foundation meaning next within him all the qualities and connects us through all those qualities to the Creator.  That's why attaining Joseph attaining the quality of connection between us is the first step in emerging from the corporeal world and getting to know the Creator meaning the upper world the spiritual world.

3. R. From this we see that he becomes the source, the tree from which we all the fruits of life. Joseph is really that connection with the upper root from which all the abundance in the world comes to us from which all we are nourished. We live off of him, it's a place of multiplication, the place of our connection between us and with the Creator meaning it's basically the place of emergence from this world corporeal world and entry in connection with the upper world the spiritual world. It all happens through the degree of Joseph, it is the closest degree.  When we come to the wisdom of Kabbalah we immediately hear that we have to engage in connection as Rabash writes in his first articles.  Where does he begin, he doesn't begin from a far from all kinds of far things, he speaks very much to the point concretely. To make one step forward you have to connect in the ten and it gives us the laws of connection, the laws of commutation, connection between us and to the extent that we succeed in this, to the extent we start building the right connection between us. This is Joseph who is called all, everything, the basis of everything because he contains all of our qualities together.  When 10 people come together each one with his own qualities which one rises above himself, by rising above yourself they come to reveal that by rising above themselves, even though their qualities are not similar to each other when they rise above them they become similar to each other they can unite.  They can do something together, so here is where the point lies. It is in our qualities we are all different from each other but, when one rises above his qualities, in his anti qualities, we can be together, from where? Because our qualities, when we rise above them, we're still not similar. It turns out that if we rise above our qualities which are all selfish and each one is unique in his own ego, when we rise above them, we become similar to one another, equal to one another. We can unite with one another and each one complements the others, these are very special things that we still don't really understand or feel what is happening. It has to come to the extent that we attain Yesod, which is why it is called everything or all. When we connect among us by rising above our egos and come to the quality of above reason, connection then in that one quality called Yesod specifically by uniting in the ten we find a new quality, a spiritual one, that unites everything and this is called the Creator.  The connection between us which engenders him you have made me, that's what it says and we really did it, it's as if between the connection between us give birth to the Creator. This is how he becomes revealed to us, the beginning of knowing. knowing the Creator, the Upper Force, the upper world is through the quality of Yesod. This is why, because from above down where these forces become organized, all of our guests come and arrange for us the right environment, then Joseph which is the very last of them, and there are also sayings about it. Joseph Is the lowest instead of Malchut and the Zohar also writes about it, let’s read.

So we see from this that David is actually the upper one, David, Moses, Aaron  and the lowest, not the six but the seventh is Yosef Joseph in other words he is in this place in the building the Partzuf. He is regarded as the seventh Sephirah, we will learn why one is this calculation, why one is that calculation in our learning, we will see it.

5. S. (19:43) You said that the spiritual attainment starts without the quality of Yesod what is that?

R. Connection between us, connection between us, you read the Torah Joseph said I am the greatest, I am the most important. You have to bow to me, that's what he said to the brothers and they sold him, they wouldn't want it to connect, and because of it they went into Egypt and wanted to know Pharaoh.  The whole story, started from not wanting to connect because this is the truest best way to know Pharaoh, to know our ego. Also, that quality that is revealed in us and through which we reveal all the other qualities, spiritual qualities, including the Creator, that quality is the most problematic for us right now.  Connection above our nature, above reason. We have to start knowing the importance of connection above everything, this is the quality of Joseph.

S. Can we say that the first point of connection between us above our nature is the point of Joseph?

R. Yes.

S. He writes about other righteous as we learned Abraham, Isaac, Jacob are all these qualities through Joseph?

R. Only through an increasing connection between us that becomes stronger, more solid do we discover the rest of the qualities until we position ourselves among everyone in such a way that we reveal the Creator.  Each and every quality reveals something from the Creator through that effort, through that form we build between us. We don't discover the Creator but only by uniting, in the form of unity that we can create along the way from one form to another reveals to us the Creator that's why it is written, “you have made me”.  Because we build this form, and accordingly reveal the Creator in different ways afterwards when we create out of all the revelations of the Creator and then connection is called everything all including everything within it so we're still discover it in the quality called connection or Joseph connection between us

S. You also said that the brothers sold Joseph, who are these brothers?

R. All the qualities in our spiritual Partzuf that we perhaps don't know so well yet we will talk about it, It says it's written in the Torah, it's a famous story about the selling of Joseph. Joseph and the brothers, you can read it. You have a beautiful book..... it's not the Torah, but still it's known he wrote about it, there are many stories about it

6. S. (24:53) Why is Joseph called the righteous?

R. Righteous because he helps us rise above the will to receive Malchut and begin to know in our efforts to connect to know the upper force. This upper force is really revealed as Pharaoh, the one above us, Pharaoh is the opposite form of the Creator. Through Pharaoh and the Creator, the Creator and Pharaoh, we discover nature.  All of contradicting things darkness and light, only through them can we start building all different kinds of forms of the upper force, really the Upper Force.  You can't know the Creator unless through his opposite so when Abraham asked the Creator how will I know that I will inherit it, how can I achieve the spiritual world, eternity, wholeness, Dvekut, adhesion in the Creator, how can I obtain it? Because he saw he had no vessels for it, so the Creator said don't worry I have prepared for you the means by which to achieve Dvekut with me.  What means the opposite of me, the cruelest thing, the most egoistic, repulsive, thinking of nothing but himself. This is called Pharaoh which will gradually be revealed in you Abraham, that's what the Creator said the ego that will be revealed in you.  You will begin to feel that even though it pushes you away from me, it stands in the way at the same time. At the same time, you will feel that it brings you closer, directs you specifically to me as the advantage of the light from within the darkness and the darkness has revealed, along with it there appears a place something that is revealed as light a spark and then you are drawn to it and the more you advance, the darker it will get and the more it will be the spark and then you will come to a state in this way you will come to me.

7. S. (28:07) Is the connection only above reason there is no connection in reason, it is an illusion in this world, we will never have connection?

R. There cannot be connection in the ego, within reason because we're all different.  If we unite among us in our world, we unite not in ourselves, but in what we aspire to reach. This is why the form of our connection is very low, corporeal, and the minute we achieve this form, it disappears, it's transient then we are no longer connected, the connection is not eternal.

R. Joseph is a quality that connects us.

10. S. (31:47) Is there a quality of overcoming in Joseph like an Aaron for instance?

R. We will learn these things. Why are you jumping to comparing them if you neither know this or that, can you learn something like that, I don't know.  Do you know what is Aaron? Do you know what is Joseph? That you can compare them, what kind of a comparative study between them how does it work? Do we do this in science at school? No, I see we simply need to keep learning

11. S. (32:48) We learn from Rabash. Joseph said, “I am seeking my brethren”, what does it mean I'm looking for my brothers in the ten?

R. It is wanting only to connect with them and nothing more, even though it causes a descent into Egypt, because Joseph went there and how did Joseph enter? It was because the brothers wanted to reject him to sell him. In this way you will learn how we come to know our evil inclination.

12. S. If I want to connect to someone in reason, in the intellect of course, I'm expecting to get something out of it that's clear egoistically, so how to correctly want to connect?

R. First of all Rabash explains this to us. So before I come to connect with the ten, I have to open the book with the articles and see what he writes there, and try to see new things. Then I come to them and I have to see where we have it between us, what qualities, this quality, that quality, maybe I should attain this, maybe I should move away from that.  And I look at what he writes and it becomes to me a teaching, as instructions. So this is why in the middle line, we rise in this way from NHY to CHGT that's why all of this work is through Joseph, the connection between us and in general if we don't know what these qualities are, right. left Abraham, Isaac we still don't know those or even Moses and Aaron, we don't really know them.  Through the connection of all our qualities that are revealed in us for now in being directed from above from the Creator when they were trying to connect in all our qualities, the bad, and the good.  When we try to position them, arrange them correctly in order to cause a good connection between us. Rabash writes that a person annuls himself before the ten, he sets an example, a correct example to the ten so by that we build the quality of Joseph and through it we immediately begin to discover higher qualities that are all poured down from above downwards into this quality of Yosef. Such is the work.

13. S. (40:08) You said that Moses and Abraham connect to Yesod and that's the middle line that connects to the upper middle line, Jacob.

R. I want not to draw it but for you to draw it within you. I came across many situations where people imagine things as being on a piece of paper, so although they feel it, they feel they understand it, this is right, this is left, etc. They become philosophers, philosophy means knowledge that you don't feel. The psychology which is something that you feel but you don't intellectualize, in this philosophy when you do it intellectually, neither is it good. What's good is for you to picture these things inside and to the extent that it lives in you, that you discover these qualities, accordingly, you will advance, feel and understand.  This is why it's written, right on the tablet of your heart, write it on your heart, on your desires, that's where you have to write to arrange them in such a way that you will feel this is Joseph, this is Aaron. This is why I drew for many, many years but now that we're coming closer to practical implementation, a time has brought us into the last generation, we have to write it on our hearts. So, although you have an inclination to writing, to drawing it, I understand it's very easy, it's also easier for me to explain it using a diagram.  This is connected, that is connected to that. But when I say you are connected I am not saying they're connected through a feeling or understanding, but it's just connected on a piece of paper you see this line one connects to the other when one connects to the other, there's no attainment here. Our attainment is all in the feeling and because we compare, let's put it this way, between these things and those things, we elicit, we extract the wisdom out of it. Chochmah is Choach Mah, means the force of Mah and it becomes revealed out of by comparing in the feeling, it's not like in our world.  We discover in our world more and more that, we are reaching a limit beyond which we cannot break out, our attainment then becomes attainment only on paper just on paper. So, look at Kabbalists, look at how much they write.  How much did he draw, he made a few diagrams with the book “The Ilan” and we don't really understand what he drew, we have to attain first and then from our attainment will understand what he drew on paper. This is why I'm asking to know these qualities, what's above this feeling, what's right and what's left in the feeling, connection, drawing, nearing in feeling qualities above and below one above the other in the feeling. Everything is in the feeling. We have to develop our spiritual feelings, the Creator is attained in the desire in the desire is feeling.

14. S. (45:23) Can you say that Joseph, the quality of the bestowal?

R. Yes, but all qualities are qualities of bestowal, all the guests we invite to our Sukkah are qualities of bestowal.  Each according to his fashion, that's why they're all called the Patriarchs, meaning above them, the qualities we are about to attain is all bestowal, we will scrutinize in what way we can establish all subtotal of our will to receive in those qualities. If we would know our general will to receive in a way like dough and we can see what forms of bread we can make out of it, well we would see that we can make shapes like Yesod, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, David but beyond that it doesn't work, meaning in these qualities that exist in the will to receive can connect specifically by the seven shapes and no more that's enough to express the general will to receive so it will assemble the Creator. That's what is happening, we'll talk about this in the future.

15. S. (47:38)  Is the result of the quality of connection between the friends the same for all the friends?

R. No, every moment a person is different, all every moment all the friends are different, nothing is the same.  They're only the same in one thing, each one according to what appears to him now he wants to bestow to the friends and through them all and all to the Creator that's the way of work by that they are identical, identical meaning they are similar.

16. S. (48:36) Today we are inviting to our Sukkah,  the righteous Yesod, we know there is a connection between Yesod and Malchut does that mean Yesod raises and nurtures Malchut?

R. That’s why they say one comes and says about the other, it is out of this comparison out of this  wisdom, we start attaining all things we don't attain a discernment on its own, we are incapable of it, we are incapable of anything on its own, only by comparison between two.  How much one is more and how much one is less, why is this more, why is this less, all kinds of such things as the advantage of light out of darkness.  It stems from that otherwise you cannot attain but specifically out of that there is no other way for the created being to attain, so out of that we have the ability to attain all the riches of creation and we build in ourselves the image of the upper the root, the one unique and special that's how it accumulate.

18. S. (53:04) The quality of Jacob that without the quality of Jacob, the qualities of Abraham, Isaac don't exist separately, Jacob connects them and then they exist.  Joseph is the qualities of Moses and Aaron, do they exist without Joseph?

R. All these qualities appear within the connection when Joseph is the one who connects everyone, who gives life to everyone that's why he's called the Yesod Olam, the foundation of the world. Through him through the connection we attain every quality, every guest comes to us during this time and that's how it happens. Yes, only through connection. Joseph is Yesod Olam, our foundation of the world meaning out of him we attain all the qualities that ultimately bring us to the recognition of the upper force, recognition of Keter.

S. What does it mean that the brothers sold Joseph?

R. When they go into Egypt, they discover their ego in the real way and out of lack of choice when they see that there is nothing to fill themselves with.  There was hunger in the land of Israel and this hunger pushes us, they cannot fill themselves by their method only by their going down to Egypt incorporating together and connecting together.  Pharaoh is connecting them, necessarily our ego is pushing us to connect as we see it now by this pandemic virus.  You don't want to be connected in a good way, well you will be connected by the bad force, that's what we're going to see ourselves as well. This is what are in now we are coming down going down to Egypt and there's a kind of that, you're going to see this you're going to start recognizing and acknowledging that either and there's a verse either Chevruta, a friendship when you're in a society or Matuta, death, one of these two and out of lack of choice we go into connection even though it's under our ego it forces us and out of lack of choice we go into connection. Even though it is under our ego it forces us and there is no choice but this way we reach a good.  That's why the evil inclination, basically a loyal servant of the Creator because the Creator manages us through him, he manages us and now we are going down this way to Egypt to get to know where we are. What this world is, what these qualities of ours. We will read a bit also from the Torah and will understand what these spiritual ways of development of a person, it's spoken about it.

R. This means that Joseph is the revelation of Yesod with respect to the Gadlut, it already has vessels of reception in order to bestow. This is why he discovers more that there is this world when you use Malchut in order to bestow and the next world when you use Binah in order to bestow meaning with respect to the attainment first we attain  the next world, and then attain the vessels of this world. 

21. R. (1:03:50) Today we're seeing we've adopted everything we learned all these things in general of course we can't incorporate everything and see everything.  Also according to the three lines in Katnut and Gadlut but in general  above all aspects it's the structure of our soul, bit by bit it comes but our first acquaintance to get to know this which is today and this evening it will continue.  I'm very pleased from the material we've been through, we've never learned this entrance into spirituality this way, how to build these qualities in us, to discover them. It is a foundation for the next step. This is how the year begins from Rosh HaShanah, Yom Kippur and Sukkot and by this we build these qualities in us anew. 

22. S. (1:05:16) When the world Kli reveals this quality of Joseph, what will happen to the nations of the world and how will they feel our revelation of it?

R. I think that first of all our work is somehow to try to reveal to the whole world what's going on with it. What's happening to all of us? When we're in the recognition of evil we are aware of our descent and we have to enter our ego, discover it and then to try to run away from it to attain the eternal world that's something we have no choice about. So, all this time we're going into the recognition of ego, of our own egoistic nature.  That's something we have to explain to the world in a way that's nice, easy soft, like children. and then we have no choice want it or not, it will happen. It won't do for us to make these calculations between us on the contrary if we all connect and understand what nature is doing to us. God is nature, also in Hebrew the numerical value of the word God is the same as the word Nature. So when we understand this, we're going to go through this in an easier way, understanding an easier way to feel this is how we will reach the next phase which is an ascent from our ego, to the eternal existence. It all depends on the way we can explain this to the entire humanity that's why, you how about Baal HaSulam wrote the explanation, the dissemination of the wisdom of Kabbalah all around the world. That's the work of the Messiah, the revelation of the Creator to all the created beings. We have to try to work on that and don't pay attention to the extent of the world in the meantime, that reveals it's limitlessness, the short silly ego, in the meantime let's do our work.

23. S. (1:08:32) You said that we recognize Keter through Joseph quality Keter. Can you explain it a little more?

R. No, if we discover the quality of Joseph in the right way we discover out of it all the qualities that are higher including and up to the quality of Keter. Keter, Chochmah, Binah are qualities that are revealed in a way as a result of our work that's why in that we do not yet have any ability to reach and understand.  Rather if we prepare in us all the vessels of NHY and vessel of CHGT we start working with the NHY and CHGT with Katnut and Gadlut together then we'll start starting in them, what we get from CHBD and this way we'll start getting to know the Creator. Because in the Guf of the Partzuf discovering results of the Rosh of the Partzuf that's called from your deeds we will know you.  From the Creator when he is revealed in KCHB, he's revealed in CHBD and CHGT from NHY then we'll discuss in our Guf but that's under the condition that our Guf will be corrected in some way to discover the actions of the Rosh and then we'll get to know the actions of the Rosh from within the Guf that's called from your deeds when your Creator does your actions in the Guf we get to know them in the Rosh not only his actions, the Creator his qualities, he's intentions but the main thing is the plans, meaning the thoughts of the Creator that's what we're going to start feeling through the actions.  Just like we see in this world when a small child, he doesn't know what's going on here, here, and here but by bit by bit, out of getting to know the actions that occur well then he starts seeing where it's coming from, why it's coming.  That's called from your actions we will know you, from the actions of the Creator on us we will get to know Him in us. We cannot get to know him outside of us. There is no matter outside of us. The only way we can get to know him. Creator is called BoReh, come and see. When he clothes Himself on us we get to know him. 

24. S. (1:11:56) Why is Joseph the Yesod, the foundation of what?

R. Foundation of the whole structure of Partzuf, because it is the last Sephirah before Malchut and we are Malchut and we judge all of the attributes before us all of those Upper sources, the spiritual sources above us with respect to us that's why this Yesod, foundation is called the source of the abundance, the source of life. The source of everything. Malchut is extended or attracted to Yesod.

25. S. (1:13:03) Is there a deficiency in Yesod that relates to the left line?

R. Don't jump with your questions and how it relates to these things, we will have the room to learn this, let's not get confused here. Yesod is the foundation, the means, the middle line that binds together all the other qualities.

26. S. (1:13:59) It's written, “the whole world is created only for me”, is this saying about Joseph and what does the saying mean?

R. The whole world is created for me because I, by bestowing to the whole world in equivalence of form with the Creator that bestows to the whole world, I get to know the Creator. That is the meaning of me serving everyone and everyone serves me. This way when I relate this way through Yesod to all of reality then according to the equivalence of form I receive from the Upper, the Creator, I get everything. We have to understand that my ego is not the place where I received things, but to the extent that I can take my ego out, to pour it out to everyone in the form of bestowal, otherwise I cannot bring it out, then by this ego all the outside of myself when I pour it out there I get the revelation of the Creator. This is my Creator, because this is the way I related to them, giving.  To the extent of my giving I can perceive, in this intention, in this Ohr Chozer, Reflected Light I can perceive the form of the Creator, the intensity of the Creator. This is the meaning of the verse, “the Name of the Lord will be upon you”, because by that the Creator clothes in me when I make a Masach, screen and Reflected Light and I hand myself out to everyone else, by this action I reveal the Creator and I am in adhesion with Him.

27. S. (1:16:05) Can we see Moses as a quality of attainment and equality of connection?

R. Correct yes.

28. R. This means that we to the extent that we can bestow, from that same shape we can receive. According to the equivalence of form, form meaning bestowal by the form of bestowal, the greatness of the bestowal, the manner of bestowal from me to others I discover the Creator’s relation to them. You may say in this world I don't feel the Creator bestowing anything good to them, so how come when I come out of myself to the world I will discover the Creator’s relation to the world? Because “they have eyes but they do not see,” you don't see this but to the extent that you relate to the world in a good way, you will start feeling that the Creator is relating to them this way, and that He's in them, He is filling them it's only them that don't feel it. That is what the Prophets spoke about and many people.

29. S. (1:18:00) In the quote we just read, he writes that food and the fruits a person gets them through the Yesod?

R. It is only a attained through Yesod, Yesod provides for the world, it brings life to the extent that we are connected between us, we may start receiving from Yesod, from the quality of the Tzaddik, the Righteous, that we will want to justify the Creator, that's why it is Yesod Tzaddik, when you want to justify all the friends in the whole world, that is why it is called the quality of the Tzaddik, the Righteous, justifying all.  Our relation to this quality, the connection of everyone, when besides me that I get to know them to the extent that I see them as all connected and everyone is in everyone is the Creator. Only any flaw that I see is in myself and to the extent that I come out of myself to them to that extent I discover that the whole world is connection and that Shechinah, Divinity, meaning the revelation of the Creator covers all the world. That is all attained through the quality of Yesod.

30. S. (1:19:45) Can we relate to Joseph as Israel who is supposed to connect all the world into one family?

R. Yes, Joseph is Jacob in Katnut, smallness. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob; Jacob is a midline of GAR  and Joseph after Moses and Aaron come Yosef, the middle line ZAT in Katnut, this is why he is so close to us, and we may through this quality start feeling what is the right connection between us in order to attain Godliness.

When all of these multiplications, it comes through this quality Yesod, Joseph and to the extent that we can connect between us, we’ll feel how truly from the point connection between us that all the abundance comes to us and all of reality is revealed, this is the only thing that we're missing friends. As much as I understand, each of us can acquire the quality of Joseph, the minute they begin to care for the friends to be included in their deficiency like a conduit, I raise them to the Upper One and here I grabbed this quality called Joseph as if I disconnect from Malchut although previously it was with the friends as well. So, it turns out that when I acquire the quality of Joseph I disconnect from the group right?

R. Let's say yes, but what's the question?

34. S. (1:30:20) What does it mean that he is rewarded with being among the recipients of the face of Shechinah?

R. When he connects to everybody, he becomes with them a vessel to reveal the Creator. That is called, “to reveal the Face of the Upper One”.

35. S. (1:30:48) We know that connection is good with the right intention, incorrect connection can cause a shattering, what we read previously, so where does that inversion happen? Let's say in the gathering of ten, everyone wants to connect but you see it's not exactly in the right direction, sometimes it gets inverted several times? Where is that inversion happening?

R. I can't say where it happens, but we have to try and see that the connection of the ten will really be for connection and not for shattering. But if some kind of malfunctions like that are revealed, so in that ten right away you can find forces that work towards the correction, or as other tens that are around you are close to you, that are bringing you back to balance. The judgment of a ten is like that of a person, that there are ascents and descents, falls and so on, without that you can't.

36. S. (1:32:25) He writes here that the prison, that he is under the evil inclination and he says that when he sees the truth he's not in the prison of Israel, but he is under the authority of the Klipot.

R. That it is not Israel but it is really a Klipot, really a will to receive with the intentions of the ego, but he still sees it so that it is speaking about a person that has something of sanctity, some kind of illumination that makes him feel like that.

S. What's the difference between the prison of Israel and Klipot?

R. That he feels that he is disconnected from Yashar Kel, that is the prison of Israel that he was put into a prison that he deserved it, those are his qualities, that they are in control of him. But he finds the forces to come out of it, just like Joseph out of that pit.

S. The Klipot is not aware of it?

R. If it is really a Klipot then no, then he is sold to that Klipot and it is in control of him.

37. S. (1:34:05) What each one of us adds to the correction of the soul?

R. Each one tries to add to the correction of the soul, the entire soul, everything in his forces he adds and actually he participates with all of the qualities of the others because that is how we were before the shattering. That is why every person adds for everybody, for each and everyone and everybody.

38. S. (1:35:06) In item 8, it says, “and the men found him and he was wandering the field, and they asked him what was he looking for,” what is the field, what does it mean he's not finding his brothers, what is the root?

R. The field are all of our qualities where we contemplate how to work with them, correctly where should we go and what should we do with ourselves, that is the field of life.

S. Who is asking him?

R. That inner voice a person has.

S. Tell me where are they feeding the flock? What is the reason that he can’t find it?

R. He is searching for connection, he knows that without the connection, he can’t reach revelation of the Creator, connection with the Creator, so first he searching for those qualities, how to gather them correctly in order to connect in the Creator.

S. What does Joseph symbolizes for us in the spiritual work?

R. He gathers everybody, he must gather them, so they know what they are and where to advance to. That is all of our work. And the concentration between us, how to reveal the place of the field, the place of the pit, the place of our advancement, and in this way we advance in the 7 years of the fulfillment and seven years of hunger and then from Joseph, we start rising to Moses and so on.

S. Is this the highest Sephirah in the system?

R. In that you are right. If we implement Joseph correctly, we reach the Keter from Joseph, Joseph is from below upward, and Keter is from above downward. That is how they work.

39. S. (1:38:15) What does it mean by keeping the Commandments of respecting your father?

R. We can't start that now, give us some time and we will reach that that is already, we need to see how you go into that prison, how we discover that we are in that prison and for now we don't have that discernment, we will see.

40. S. (1:37:57) I have to feel and understand what you're saying but how to feel what you're saying?

R. That's not a question, if you work with your feelings towards the friends then you start building the place to reveal the Creator because it's all emotional forms and we have to start building them from those same feelings that we do feel that are under our control, there are such that I love or that I push away or something that I like,...if I try to connect between them, if I want to be above all of my personal feelings, that it doesn't really seem like it or I reject them, I move, I come close. If I go with love covers all crimes, my crimes I want to cover them with love, that I get it from the group, from the Creator that in such a way I can build the place to reveal the Creator and gradually it becomes a place for the spiritual world.

S. Barrier...

R. The rest is what you have to do and that's it, you've heard that, here in a few times and then do it.

41. S. (1:40:58) ....About Joseph who was thrown into the pit for the first time by his friends.

R. That is when they did it when they were in the desert there in Be'er Sheva, next to the house of Jacob, supposedly on the way to Egypt. So they tossed him into the pit, it's still not the pit of Egypt, but still if you ask what he acquired in that pit, he felt how far he is from his brothers and as much as they don't accept him and they don't accept him because he increases the quality of Joseph of connection more than all the other qualities. Rabash has a nice article about that, where he says that caused the falling into Egypt, don't remember exactly where it is we'll have to find it.

42. S. (1:42:25) Psychologically within a person compares his states, what he has, is it negative and not recommended to try and compare a person's mental states with what we're studying?

R. We can study the Torah on a human level, how to behave and how to be better towards one another, but we need to try to discover the qualities where we find the Creator and its qualities that aren't in us, but in an unnatural relationships between one another, unnatural means we build another level, another degree of relationships between us that even though we discover hate and rejection, criticism, we along with that try to stay above it. We don't erase the bad things, but we leave them and above them we build nice and good things and to understand that these two levels of Daat, reason, and faith above reason.  These two levels have to be in us to exist between us and only on the second degree in faith above reason and a good and nice attitude towards one another even though inside I feel rejection and hatred and that I want to kill him and so on. Specifically in this way, in like a two-story on these two levels in this way we build our attitude towards nature correctly, that it has the evil inclination that the Creator created and the quality of the Creator, the good that is above it. And that relationship between them, we start discovering above them both, like between plus and minus that we begin to reveal the Upper World. As much as we revealed them we will find more and more opposite forms between this form, this world and the next world.

43. S. (1:45:09) What does Rabash mean when he says that he needs the Creator's help not for luxuries but for necessities?

R. Necessities are to connect because through the Yesod, through the connection we receive all the correct illumination of the Creator upon us, that is why it is a necessity. First connection and if there is no connection there is no contact with spirituality, if there is connection there is contact with spirituality and we can already start in somewhat to receive spiritual qualities and in them we will start feeling where we are, what fills us, who fills us and so on. Connection is first. All of our war is how to connect between us even though we have an ego rejecting us from one another, pushing us and won't let us, confuse us and so on. How do we hold ourselves, one next to the other, to give examples one to the other that each one can uplift above his ego in order to be connected in heart and soul to the friends. And it doesn't matter what happens with the friends, doesn't matter what he sees, specifically the opposite is much as he sees them worse, bad and he overcomes it and he relates to them in a good way, this is called that he advances. We need to write it down before us a thousand times, write it down, I am telling you it is worth writing it and then later on when you read it fix it and fix it, with all kinds of qualities and problems that are revealed in him, on everything. We need to overcome, we need to rise with love to them, do you understand? I don't care what I feel back from the friends, I need to discover love towards them. That is it. Don't bring me any proof he did this, like children, no such thing. It is what you feel, what he does, because you are in the evil inclination, leave these things, don't erase them and above that start relating to him in love, as if he loves you, that's it. That is our attitude that we should keep and all questions and confusion, they don't have any place, there is no place for them. That is called “love will cover all crimes,” then in such a way the spiritual world will open the attitude, the Creator. Everything will be revealed in that same person doing all of this.

44. S. (1:48:46) What is that state called truth?

R. The true reality that on the second story, above your ego, you discover why is it true, because that is the Creator, you reveal Him according to the equivalence of form with Him. In that equivalence of form you can build Him upon the opposite of form that you have between Him, that will be the first degree.

S. Where do I do this work?

R. In your heart.

45. S. (1:49:35) What is a discernment of Joseph?

R. What we are studying now?

S. How can I write it and mark it down?

R. You will need to listen to this lesson again, if you're asking me now after we are almost at the end of the lesson what Joseph is, it means that you need to repeat it.

R. Right at ten more times. Joseph is connection, that's the main thing that we need.

S. Connection between all the parts of fragments of our soul?

R. Yes.

46. S. (1:50:40) All the qualities all the Sephirot are attained only by our connection, why only Joseph symbolizes the connection?

R. Because Joseph is the quality of Yesod, that means that the main thing is connection, all the rest of the qualities are attained through Joseph, that is why he is called Yesod Olam, the foundation of the world, that's why he provides for everything, this quality, this force that connects between us is called Joseph. It gives us the opening for all of the rest of the forces, for all the rest of the states.

Meaning this is how it happens with us, that we start connecting and we reach some form of connection and in that form we find the control of the ego to such an extent that we can't deal with it and we fall under the control of the ego and this is called that we go under the control of Pharaoh. We don't have to go to Egypt for this or someplace, it is all happening inside of us in the connection between us, in the group and as much as we try there are ascents and descents, we will discover Pharaoh is evil again and again we will overcome in the connection between us and again the connection seems as bad, we distance ourselves and then we're connected again. Then we advance towards the seven years of satiation and then we have the seven years of hunger because CHGT NHYM, seven, and in all of them we have to go through these things and in this way we advance until we come out of the exile, until we feel as much of the connection between us is essential then as much as we can connect and as much as we can't, then we will reach a state that we must run and disconnect from Pharaoh. As much as we received everything from Him, we have to go to the desert where Pharaoh is not in control and then we can start advancing, meaning that all of these things are on the path and they are all felt in the connection between us. All of these states we go through them in the different kind of connection between us and only through Joseph do we then discover Moses and we start moving on spiritual degrees. But still it is all on that foundation of Joseph, Yesod, the foundation of our connection, that is why what happens afterwards, the destruction, the vessel shattered the connection, and what’s happening today, again we have to reach a connection but in all of humanity and all of that Babylon that must connect.

48. S. (1:55:40) On the one hand throughout the entire lesson we have emphasized that it all depends on the connection between us and you explain that it all depends on how I see the things, the work is personal, inside of me, how to reconcile?

R. It will work, it will settle, think about it.

49. S. (1:56:16) According to what I understand Joseph starts from Jacob and it is like a thread that runs through Egypt to Moses and Moses tries to speak to the people they don't hear him then he connects it to Joseph and they begin to hear and they understand that he is a man of truth.  How to take it to the people of Israel?

R. Don't take it towards anywhere and don't write the Torah for us, we don't need your interpretation, this is not a way to ask. A question is a short question that you can also answer with one word. You can't cook the whole process for us, you might be right, maybe not. Why do I not want to listen to this because I want to see that it's being realized in the connection between us and not that it's philosophy giving another interpretation for the Torah.

S. The short question is what happened there was said that the people heard that this is Moses and they have to follow him and today we advertise it to the people but they don't hear us?

R. Of course not, what force do we have that they feel that it is worth following us? Even though they feel sorrow and pain and hunger and whatnot, who are we that they would want to follow us?

S. Where is the force of Joseph?

R. Did you hear what I said?

S. I heard. But the connection is to the point in the heart.

R. No. A feeling of connection is when you tell everybody, I guess you're not disseminating at all.

50. S. (1:58:53) What's the meaning that something is revealed through the connection?

R. From the connection we start attaining the Klipot and the Kedusha, without the connection we don't discover any of them, but also the hate and also the love, it is from our attempt to connect.

S. To scrutinize it more, what is through?

R. As much as we go and try to be connected more and more we discover the first story which is hatred between us and upon that we discover on the second level the connection between us and on those two lines we go, we advance.

51. S. (1:59:56) You said about CHGT NHYM the state is satiation and hunger, what is that state?

R. CHGT NHYM, I don't know what you're relating to that, but in satiation and hunger we have to discover spiritual satiation and hunger, and it is all through the point of Joseph called the one who provides for the world. And when it restricts itself and we have no connection, when we reach such a state. Look, we can say that we have all the abundance in the world and soon you will see what it's going to be, we will need to feel as much as we are all dependent upon the connection between us, there will be more connection, there will be what to eat, there won’t be more connection and there won't be something to eat, that is how it's going to be. Today no country can provide itself with what it needs, everybody is dependent upon everybody. We have reached that state in the last hundred years of development and today we will need to reach a state that the connection between us is the salvation. This is what we need to do, no more than that, we attained the connection and through that we can advance in corporeality and in spirituality. And if we don't want it, we will feel bad in corporeality so that we can understand that we need to be connected in a good way to one another. Otherwise we won't be able to supply one another with necessities for our corporeal survival. That is what we will reach.

52. S. (2:01:53) Sometimes you say think, but shouldn't you say pray?

R. You're right to think, in the end of the thought when you prepare yourself for prayer and that is nice. You said it nice.

53. S. (2:02:29) Can you explain how through the naive view of a child in a different intention of the ten, how we can connect to the quality of Joseph?

R. We also taught children that it's beneficial to connect together that in that connection we can play and enjoy life, but our ego even on those degrees won't let us connect nice and correctly even between children. Go between children and you will see how much they have all of these arguments on control, in harming the other, that I will have it and I won't give it to him. Learn from human nature, it is better to learn about human nature from children because they don't hide their intentions and their actions, but we are adults, each one is concealing himself, this is called that he is raised well. As much as he hides his stinking ego, this is called that he is raised well, he behaves well. So he takes more perfume in order to not stink, but actually it is with his ego inside. So that is what we have to learn in the ten.

54. S. (2:04:30) Why do we learn that the quality of Joseph is revealed before Moses and Aaron and here building our general vessel on Sukkot we see that the quality come after them?

R. Because we are building all of the qualities somehow in the sum total we are building the quality of connection between them we are building the quality of Joseph we learn what is the make up of this Joseph, how come it exists, that is the order that's why it is revealed last. Also in the story of the Torah we see that the Patriarchs and then the sons, Jacob and his sons before entering Egypt it all develops and finally concludes in Joseph and after that we come to Egypt and after that the ascent from Egypt, they begin to recognize the evil and come out of it to rise above it and use it properly in the ascent, then we begin to have from Moses onwards the revelation of Moses and each generation.

55. S. (2:06:16) In the end of the ten meetings if we hear a song together is that also a spiritual connection?

R. I don't know if it's spiritual but it is connection, nonetheless, our connection in the tens.  Spiritual means in order to bestow, check if are you truly in order to bestow above your egos, it's clear and each and every one, does he relate to everyone in all of his friends above this ego or not?

56. R. That is how we advance, we advance towards connection and then according to the problems that we reveal in connection accordingly we can tell in what way does the Creator begin to advance us, to bring us closer to Him as he presents the problem in connection, meaning more precisely. This you have to correct, you have to care for this and take care of that, the problems between us and when they appear, we begin to focus more and more on the connection between us. We don't disperse ourselves to the whole world and all of the worlds, it is enough for us to reveal the connection between us, the problem that it is in and what we can see before us that we need to do and to strengthen it. So, by reading the articles of Rabash and trying to connect ourselves, correct ourselves more and more, coming closer to one another although there is more rejection from one another. This is how we discover the right and the left together, one over the other love covers all transgressions, this is our advancement and this is what we need to do right now with all our strength we have to do it now.

57. S. (2:10:32) From Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses and Aaron there's a chronological order and then Joseph he's not in chronological order, is this related to our work a jump backwards or something upside down?

R.  I don't know, I know that this is what we need to do, this is the quality of Joseph we connect between us above all of the questions, connection is the main thing. Look what Rabash writes  in all of his articles, if we reach the first true connection the spiritual world will open up for us and we will begin to build the connection between us in a clearer way, clear to our will to bestow not to our will to receive, we will discover more and more disturbances but we will overcome them in greater and greater bestowal, tighter bestowal between us.

58. S. (2:11:47) In short, the quality of Joseph is recognition of evil and Aaron and Moses is overcoming above reason?

R. Also Joseph is in faith above reason we connect between us above all the queries and problems. Joseph is connection between us. Connection, Chibur, if it wasn't above reason it would never exist.

S. Yesterday there was a very strong example of connection…

R. You need to connect with everyone and create such a connection between you that you won't use your evil inclination, your ego in the connection. This is called the form of Joseph, what else? I don't want to speak corporeally how it is expressed in the act of the Covenant, but this is called the corrected form of Joseph.

59. S. (2:13:31) You said that a person in this world is an egoist, but he puts this mask of a good attitude towards the others in a stinking way like you said, so what is the difference between connection between people upon the same exact principal, they feel the ego but they smile toward the other person?

R. Are you talking about the future world? The future world, we will feel one another internally, I will see how everyone are egoist, it’s true that doesn’t change, I'm talking about how everyone are egoist and it suddenly getting revealed more and more, but everyone above their egos they wish to relate to others and good and it is not in good so I will profit from it somehow because of being generous and kind but rather we want to be in good connection between us. The Creator created are evil inclination, our stinking nature, He created it and we build between us His form, how to relate to one another so it is clear to everyone who we are. We are those who came to the Creator, this is go to the craftsman who made me, but I, where I am above what He created I behaved in an opposite way and I am grateful to Him for preparing me in this way because specifically from a thing and its opposite I can attain all of creation.

S. I'm not speaking about the future world, I'm speaking about now and in dissemination you have to speak, you have to connect, you have to be nice to each other you have to smile..

R. We understand that each one of us needs to overcome their ego. We hate one another, we were never connected with one another if not for the Creator that puts us into one group.

S. We are speaking in the world that you will relate nice to each other, you'll have provision and family in corporeality will be okay..... 

R. It's not enough they need to relate nicely to one another above the ego and understanding consciously they get this method from us, they connect to us in order to receive the force of bestowal, in order to be connected. They won't be able to be connected, right now they're not connected they're not touching one another. When we say that you need to be more connected to one another, we are pushing them towards a bad state, just like kids what are we saying, you're beating each other up, separate. We say no, connect to one another, for what? To have more blows? More fights, no. They need to understand, on one hand the correction of the world is in connection, there is no other choice, and it has to be above our ego which is separating us. They have to receive from us the force of connection, that was well, that will control the power of hate and that is why they will come and connect to us and receive that power from us. The moment that we will be able to work with a mutual force of bestowal between us they will come to us and receive that power as well and for the time being neither them nor us are corrected for the beginning of the right connection.

60. S. (2:18:19) What brings us to the quality of Joseph, what connects us to the quality of Joseph?

R. When we try to connect between us like the Kabbalists are telling us to do, that is what connects us and reveals between us the quality of Yosef. After all we have to do what the Kabbalists, what our teachers are telling us Rabash and Baal HaSulam writes, we have to walk accordingly.

Messiah, son of David is when the first restriction opens up in order to bestow is revealed in the complete will to receive.

65. R. That is why he was able to reveal it, to disclose it because he received permission to reveal it in that form, he becomes a source for the Light of Chochmah that is revealed during the time of correction and he brings everyone to the complete correction. 

66. S. (2:26:32) We reach a certain point of connection between us, let's call it Joseph, how do we afterwards develop that quality because the ego gets bigger, we reveal Pharaoh and another degree?

R. On that we will talk in our next lesson, you know how they say, cliffhanger.  After the degree of Joseph those are such huge degrees we think that we understand and that we want to reach beyond it, let us connect simply as Joseph is telling us to do, the quality of Joseph, connection between all of us. There we will discover all of the qualities because spirituality is like a ladder, it is a gradual thing. That is what we need to do, step after step to try and discover all that has to be revealed. Don't jump ahead, you will understand, then there won't be any confusion. It is like in first grade you have a teacher from 6th and 7th grade and it comes into the first grade and starts to teach them something, they don't understand what he's talking about, how is that possible? We learn in spirituality it is even more than that because every degree that you attain, you attain the low degree in the Galgatta vEnaiyim, the GE is already contained in the AHP of the Upper One, in this is how you raise yourself to a higher degree, this is the ladder of degrees. Where in GE of the lower when you find a AHP of the Upper One it pulls you to the higher degree in this goes on more and more. So, everything, anything that doesn't belong to our degree, I don't feel that I have to answer, it will only cause confusion.

S. In our work to such a close level...

R. Only connection, only to connect so the ten will be as one. Only this we need to see before us otherwise even the outside audience will have no place to connect to, and we need to prepare ourselves quickly to that demand of that audience, to the demand of the world and if not we will begin to suffer for the whole world. Clear?

67. S. (2:30:04) What should we do to make certain that the ten do not forget the qualities of Ushpizin and how do we turn them into deficiencies, intentions and actions of bestowal?

R. We will advance, just like right now already advancing, we have learned in general what is going on here in the building of our soul, the Sukkah is called a soul so how do we need to discover these qualities and connect them between them together. This is how we will continue. After Sukkot in the coming days we will finish Sukkot, we have Simchat Torah, we need to learn about that, tonight we will learn about the special night we will have a special lesson, we have 2 nights like that. We have the night of the Exodus, the end of Pesach and we have the night of Hoshanah Rabbah, the great salvation at the end of the week of Sukkot. So tonight we will learn about Hoshanah Rabbah, meaning is great revelation which comes to us to receive through the Schach, to receive the revelation of the Creator how we need to advance to come closer to the that, to expect for this to happen. Of course, we don't understand it yet, we're not feeling it yet, because we just started to learn what it can be. 68. S. (2:32:49) Joseph connection feels like it takes a lot of exertion like a rocket launching, is that true or a variable gentle connection to start?

R. The connection of Joseph, let's say this is the first connection between us, of course there are many other states, higher states, but this is the first connection. We need to learn that through this connection we discover our connection with the source of the Upper Abundance and we begin to receive from their direction, forces, guidance throughout the quality of Joseph, the quality of connection which is why he is called the foundation of the world, Yesod Olam,  that's why he nourishes and sustains the whole world. The friends are making so many efforts yesterday there were over 270 friends connected to the Arvut Team, and it was so powerful and exciting we were in shock by the way that the Creator is complementing our connection. How can we from the beginning of the Congress can we reach the lesson today with maximum preparation?

R. Let us hope that we will connect and feel the power and the warm nature of the connection between us, let us hope that we will do so. We will succeed in revealing the Creator to the creatures. Where the coronavirus and everything by which the world is suffering, everything that we need to connect to become the degree of Joseph for the world that we will come to it, we have to come to it. The foundation of the world is that point of connection between the corporeal world also in the spiritual world, the Creator. And this point has to be us, we have to be it, so when we come to the connection between us, through it, the connection the Creator can bestow his abundance to all of humanity. We need to see in it our work. We need to do it because we reached a state of the last generation. So let us see seriously how much the world needs us although it doesn't understand it and how much the Creator is expecting us, although we don't understand it, but this is our work and we should hurry up and become his loyal messengers towards the entire world and by that we will become the source of abundance for the whole world and the source of contentment from below up from the created beings to the Creator.
