Scientists in Shanghai, China have managed to impregnate male rats. The researchers transplanted a uterus into male rats and after eight weeks, they transplanted the embryos too. The result was ten pups delivered by caesarean section, who reached adulthood and were able to reproduce without serious diseases. An animal model of male pregnancy in mammals was thus created through this experiment. This phenomenon is also seen in a group of fish in the family Syngnathidae, which includes seahorses and their relatives, the pipefish and seadragons. According to Kabbalist Dr. Michael Laitman, such an act is against nature and the outcome will not be a good one, even if it will not be evident in the first few generations. The male and female bodies differ in every cell. They have a different psychology and mental structure. The Torah treats men and women differently, as two opposites, completely incomparable and precisely due to their differences, it lets them connect, unite and birth future generations. The union between male and female creates a system that resembles the Creator: “A man and a woman, the Creator between them.” Only in the voluntary connections above themselves, in the desire to unite despite their differences, do they begin to build something common, which is called “love.” Their offspring entirely depend on the connection between two opposites. The more developed a man and a woman become, the more complex the connection, which we do not yet understand. We cannot defeat nature. We are inside nature.

New life comes from the power of desire. Each child brings forth a unique spiritual component and alters the destiny of the family. The connection between the feminine and masculine forces as well as the higher power grows every day during pregnancy. The feminine force must be ready to accept the masculine force and the masculine force must have the right influence on the feminine force in order to for conception and pregnancy to succeed. The creation of life requires a father who represents the desire to give, a mother who represents the desire to receive, and a spiritual component otherwise known as a soul. All forms of life including stones, plants, cats, and human beings incorporate these three factors. The spiritual component is the power that causes the reproduction of life until it achieves its purpose, which is the discovery of the higher force by human beings. A baby suffers from the moment it is born. The suffering is part of the correction of our shattered soul. Nature gives us a chance here to get to know the upper force that controls us, “there is none else besides Him.” A good mother is a balanced, settled mother who controls her responses.

Childbirth is a very painful process that ends with great joy. During labor, the mother should prepare herself mentally by thinking: “I am being born now together with my child into a new world.” The world develops by becoming rounder or more connected just like an embryo in the womb. Birth is the connection of the embryo to the world in a more developed manner. The embryo receives “life’s software” in the womb and develops it in the world. In one’s efforts to exit the womb, the embryo discovers that the world is comprised of two forces: giving and receiving. Our world leads us toward birth. Mothers who understand this pass that onto their embryo and improve the life of their child.

The social environment that surrounds a family after the birth of a new baby affects the baby’s success in life. After being thrust into a new world, the baby needs to learn about connection through games, play, and stories. An atmosphere of connection needs to be created in the home. Even if the mother experiences postpartum depression and the father is nervous, they need to pretend that the situation is good and act in this way for the benefit of the developing child. All negative emotions come deliberately out of nature so that we learn to connect above them. Parents can practice through workshops at home such as speaking only about the importance of being parents and avoiding any negative comments.

The female power should promote humanity’s birth. A woman should feel that all of nature is her womb and through it provide everyone with life. She should use her free choice to take care of the world like a womb, just as nature wraps the embryo with love, care, warmth, and bestowal. Pregnancy can even heal a woman because she receives great forces from nature for two. If she suffers during pregnancy, this means that she lacks balance. She should learn so that she can teach her children the right attitude toward life.

When a woman gets pregnant she becomes nature’s representative. The development of the embryo on the human level depends on the attitude of the parents toward the environment. The world will relate to your embryo in the same way that you relate to others. Similarly, the attitude toward the mother is passed onto the embryo. “Your mother’s wisdom” means teaching the child to have good relationships with others. A mother should think about and visualize the type of world she would like to live in. Parents should acquire as much information as they can in advance in order to raise a developed human being. The only way a mother can ensure her embryo experiences peace is by providing a peaceful environment. The embryo feels the mother after 40 days. She therefore has to think about the embryo and treat him as an entity that understands and feels. Since all her thoughts are passed onto the embryo, the mother imagines the type of kindergarten she wants for him, his harmonious relationships with others, and the perfect world she wishes for him to inhabit. Instead of hoping her child becomes a millionaire, she desires that he will be born into a balanced world in which everyone has what they need both in corporeality as well as in spirituality. She will imagine a world based on mutual guarantee in which every child feels happy and secure throughout their lifetimes.

An embryo feels what goes on between the parents and is affected by it. It never sleeps and is constantly perceiving information and developing. It distinguishes between the father’s impact and recognizes this additional source of influence. In fact, the embryo tries to neutralize the father as if he does not exist if the father treats the mother poorly by, for example, shouting. This lowers the self-confidence of the embryo and forces him to respond with defensive violence. The relationship between the parents even affects the embryo’s future relationships and entire life.
