1. R. (06:45) That is what he says and everyone stumbles across this on the path, many times we are in that state where we do not put in sufficient effort and outbreak and attack. So that we don't constantly agree to fall again and again to our will to receive but rather that we must make a leap here that I know that I have before me a barrier, it is very difficult. If I'm going to argue with it and there are all kinds of stories and depictions of these how Kabbalists argued with this barrier with this will to receive that we have standing before us, this way that way to maybe go around with it some way, to get along with it, to leave it there for later or maybe to jump ahead of it. It's always head-to-head. There is a simple issue here. If we disagree with it and we do want to emerge then we do emerge, we come out. It says when we read in the stories of Egypt, because of the exodus of Egypt, Moses comes to Pharaoh and says I want to be free from you, I want to be free give me all of the desires and intentions, all the actions, all my abilities so that I will be able to come out of your rule. Then eventually he does come out and he comes out to such an extent that suddenly he discovers that Pharaoh himself opens up for them the place to come out. He lets them go and he leads them up to that exit from Egypt. That the will to receive was actually created in such a way that it has to oppose so that the person will have the opposing force of resistance, so that he will demand forces from the Creator connection with Him, help and by this you will come closer to the Creator. That is the evil inclination is called, help made against him, against him because it operates seemingly against itself. It gives the person the ability to connect with the Creator in such a way that otherwise a person would never approach the Creator. Therefore all the objections that we have in us and we feel that we are weak, that we're not capable of coming out of our egoistic desire. That we cannot do anything against it, it is all in all in order for us to need the force with which to come out more and more. To leap out of the will to receive to the will to bestow. The Creator is awaiting that and he is helping us through all kinds of forms of resistance that He creates around us. In this way we advance so as to build the force of bestowal instead of the force of reception.

2. S. (10:50) Baal HaSulam writes that we need a strong desire, measured by many ascents and descents at one time. And then continues that if a person has strong desire, he takes a hammer and with great power shatters the rock. How to make the correct calculation here and now so we will invest all the power and desire in one strike and not to stretch it over time because there are many rocks like that?

R. It is true it depends on the environment as much as a person organizes the environment and specifically through that he gets closer to success because on his own he will certainly have no strength. Rather there has to be a big strong environment which is solidified and then everyone understands that they have no choice and they have to make an attack like a strong, correct, good commando. Here we should try to make room for the common force between them. This is called that they take a greater hammer and then they are already capable of breaking the rock.

3. S. (12:39) About that strong desire, strong desire means it changes by many cessations, entrances and exits, what is that mechanism?

R. The strong desire means that it is possible to take a big hammer that is a very strong group which is cohesive solidified and to strike the rock strongly and break it. Whereas taking a small hammer and knocking on the rock many times, well then you get nothing, there are no results out of all your strikes and therefore we need to pay attention to the quantity and quality of our work. And what is it exactly, where does it take place? The most important for us is to be solidified together, against our one enemy, the will to receive. It works in everyone although it's in different forms, sometimes opposite forms or something but really it is the same ego of ours. We need to try to force it, to obligate it to depart from us. By turning to the Creator and demanding.

4. S. (14:29) In the article it said in the excerpt that we have to follow habit, what is the difference between routine and habit, is there a difference between the two?

R. No, there is no difference. Both routine and also habit, these are states where a person doesn't need to invest anything. This is already considered second nature and therefore being in these things, it's a sign that he is not advancing. He can stay in that until the end of his life.

5. S. (15:31) What does it mean to shatter the rock?

R. To smash the heart of stone means to break it into such small pieces so that we will be able to invert it to in order to bestow that's a later action that we will do.

S. On what do I hit with the hammer?

R. We need to break the partitions between the friends. If you start to connect between you more and more in spite of these partitions you will feel that by that you are getting closer to the Creator and you are discovering Him standing behind our wall as it is called behind those partitions.

6. S. (16:28) The cessation, the break between two overcoming, how do we close that gap?

R. Only through persistence in the study in the group investing specifically in daily work. What helped me is that I used to write books and I was teaching people, that helps a lot when you teach then you are incorporated with foreign desires. Then they shake you, they obligate you to think differently, it's very beneficial to try to disseminate. First of all you are doing it as bestowing to the Creator and secondly you are expanding the limit of the wisdom of Kabbalah and also you learn how you can explain better to yourself and to others and that forces you to advance and study. Dissemination helps a lot to that person who is disseminating.

7. S. (17:59) We say that the most important on our path is persistence and from what I get here it's not enough, it's only the decisiveness until that decision the game's not over, how persistence helps us approach this decision?

R. Persistence first of all means you're serious that you're walking the path and each time you're trying to put together the pieces, the broken pieces from the shattering of Adam HaRishon. Persistence educates you, it arranges you, you have to build the society and build an education, a study system, why, because without that you will not be able to advance. You have to build an environment which is the group, the order of the studies and the order of dissemination, all kinds of things. In order so the system you are building will hold you. This is why these are important things and without it is impossible.

8. S. (19:21) When you look back on those years that have passed in our work, what is the necessary habit and what we may not be able to actually acquire?

R. Persistence brings us to habit and habit becomes second nature, there are many things that become a habit for us. Maybe it's a good habit, maybe it's a bad habit, I cannot say however, we sort them and in this way we need to see to what extent those efforts of ours come and correct, nevertheless they correct our vessels more and more. Yes and this is why a penny and a penny accumulates to a great amount, this is what happens for us.

9. S. (20:39) Please tell us, what does it mean that the will to receive says to a person, you will do the will of your Creator and I will do the will of my Creator?

R. These are the forces of work in a person usually just one force, the will to receive but if a person starts to engages in the wisdom of Kabbalah, then the other force awakens in him and here a person is already in a state where he is in between two forces, one time he wants to receive another time he wants to bestow. One time he wants to be close to the Creator another time he falls and he's close to his own egoistic nature and so there are two forces.

S. It turns out that there is a person that turns to the will to receive and says?

R. Yes we need to depict to ourselves that we exist not in the will to receive and not in the will to bestow but seemingly we choose. What do we want to do, who is going to rule us or what we can maybe rule over, what we can control as if it's our choice, we control, we gain control during the work, this is how a person makes these scrutinies. We have to do these scrutinies in order to know under which force you exist now. People on the street, well they don't ask that because it's clear to them that they have a certain nature and according to that nature they operate, they are managed. In order to do good actually to that force that is managing them because they identify with that force, for them to do good to the desire that is operating them is considered to do good to themselves. Whereas when we begin the spiritual work, following sometime we begin to feel that it's not the same thing. That I want to do good, to whom, my egoistic desire or to my altruistic desire. Whom do I want to do good and here I already start having this struggle inside of me. It takes a few years until a person starts to realize in between these two forces that he exists. And that one force is ruling him on top of the other and this is how it is intermittently, one force and then the other force and the two of them eventually lead the person to the end of correction. This is how it's going to be until the end of correction but it is good for a person to exist between the two of them and for him to know that the two of them are managing him and how should he answer to that and work with them.

10. S. (24:28) There is no coercion in spirituality and on the other hand we need to obtain the point where he is coerced until he says I want it, what is this kind of coercion in the 10?

R. The coercion is that we elevate the importance of the will to bestow, connection between us, the importance of the study, we elevate that above all of the other ordinary obstructions that come to us from life.

11. S. (25:30) Is it really the will to receive, is it really an enemy or is it egoistic desire the evil inclination applied to the will to receive that is really the enemy?

R. I don't understand how you distinguish between the will to receive and the evil inclination. I cannot answer you until I will understand that. Usually the will to receive is just a will to receive that exists in the whole of creation on the level of the still, vegetative and animate. The whole of creation wants to exist, this is the force of life, the force that necessitates it, to hold itself and to try to be connected to life, to protect itself that is the will to receive. Whereas the evil inclination is if I want to rise above the will to receive, to a desire which is in order to bestow, and in that I want to resemble the Creator, then I begin to get closer to the other nature and then I have a problem. Because then I am in collision with my will to receive. This is already the will to receive on the degree of Adam not on the level of still, vegetative, and animate but rather on the degree of speaking, so this is the difference between the ordinary will to receive and the will to receive that Kabbalists, those who want to get closer to the Creator stumble against.

S. Would that also be considered evil that Kabbalist’s will to receive?

R. Specifically the will to receive that doesn't allow people to get closer to the Creator, it is called the evil inclination, all of the other desires, they are not called the evil inclination. They do not hinder the person, maybe you can enjoy all kinds of things in life if it doesn't hinder you, obstruct you getting closer to the Creator then it's not called the evil inclination. This is why the evil inclination is only when a person determines that he wants to advance in order to bestow, to connection with the Creator and he discovers that there are forces that are enduring him and then he resists.

S. So it boils down to intention like always then, yes?

R. Not only the intention also in the action maybe, but the difference is mostly in the intention that is correct.

12. S. (29:39) Is it possible that a person is governed by the will to bestow and not the will to receive?

R. Yes, yes. If he wants to associate himself with the force of Bina, this is how he enters the governance of the will to bestow.

13. S. (30:10) A person discovers on this path that persistence is something that's good to you, because you constantly get forces from the group. How can we change the directions so that I will give changes to the group and I'll stop to receive for my own sake?

R. Try to do it forcefully. What do you mean with your question, try to do that forcefully.

14. S. (30:56) On the one hand, we learn a penny and a great sum, and time of persistence takes its time. On the other hand, it feels like, as he writes, we have to center the strike otherwise we will continue without doing any correction. What did you mean by that?

R. I meant that we have to connect more together and realize that this strike has to be specifically on the partitions between us. That if we reach connection, then out of the connection we obligate the Creator to help us.

S. You said if we get up every morning to the lesson, the meal of the righteous, as it says, none of it will help unless we do an additional action on top of the morning lesson?

R. I didn't understand.

S. It’s not enough to simply show up for the morning lesson and have meals, but something in addition?

R. The most important thing is connection. Why do I care if it's in a lesson or there's no lesson, if it’s in a meal or not in a meal. What's important is the connection. Are we reaching it or not, are we bringing ourselves back to the mold, the template, of Adam HaRishon or not, this is what success depends on.

S. The morning lesson is not what will help us, but the connection between us. When will we have that?

R. How will you reach the knowledge of the connection, the eruption of the connection, if you won’t come to the lessons that awaken you at least for that day to some extent?

S. Meaning, during the morning lesson we do the connection?

R. Of course.

15. S. (33:04) Can you explain the basis for the attraction of the will to receive that holds a person, how does it attract us?

R. The Creator makes it so. The Creator makes it so that the will to receive will confuse us and pull us, and that's it.

16. S. (34:05) What is that hammer with which we can break the rock, the stone?

R. That we are being in a group together, we reach a state where we want to break the partition between us, because the partition between us is actually what the Creator Himself is in it. If we break the partition, we discover him. We have nothing else to do. Practically, if we break the partitions between us and we want to reach a state where our heart will be built out of all of the hearts in the form of a single heart, and the force of our mind of our intellect will work only for us to build a single heart out of all of us, then in such a way we reach such a connection in which the Creator is revealed. The vessel of Adam HaRishon that becomes resurrected, it rises back to life.

17. S. (35:43) What is the meaning of advancing using actions and not arguments?

R. Well, arguments, we have nothing to do with them. We need to try to build such a connection between us, where we add and add an awakening, drawing together, until with that mutual inclination every 10 will feel that it is becoming solidified in its center, that it is reaching something where we are all connected so that there will be this force in a 10, this feeling that we are as one man, that our bodies are not felt, that we are in them, but rather that we feel ourselves as being in one heart. There are not quite words for it, but this is what we would like to happen.

18. S. (37:17) How can we ensure that we swing the hammer with the maximum power in the 10 and not each one is using his tiny hammer?

R. This all depends on how much we work, how much we understand what needs to be done, we need to understand that. Connection is the desired goal that we wish to obtain, because we need to restore the broken system called the soul of Adam HaRishon, the broken soul of Adam HaRishon, we need to restore it to a state where it is whole once again. This is the meaning of coming to the end of correction. So it's highly recommended that we will do it this way. How to do it, I don't know what to say, but we have to, we have to. We have to check our day, how did it go by, what are we planning for the next day, in that direction, the direction of connection. Although this connection, for the time being, between us can be a false connection, unreal, pretended. Together with that, we nevertheless play with it like children in order to reach a state where the reforming light works according to this game that we're playing in connection, and it establishes between us a true connection. We have to understand that we have no choice, also humanity. Look at the states it's going through all humanity, and how much more it will have to suffer before it understands that the solution is only in connection. Either socialist or communist, we retreat again and advance again, humanity is going through advancing in waves. But what do we want to determine at the end of the day? An ever-growing connection, each time, more and more. Otherwise, we find ourselves retreating each time, losing ground by going down to those states, down to a world war.

Reader continues (40:38) “Similarly, in the holy work, which is to bring the vessels...”

19. R. (43:17) As you say, the lights of Taamim (flavor) that expand from Rosh to Guf in the Partzuf.

Reader continues (43:24) ‘’Scent means that the lights come from below…’’

20. S. (45:43) I see my friends, they are dragging themselves to bestow to the Creator, they are bringing so much importance and I am so jealous of them. Why is it always something missing? What can I do to help my friends in order to fill the gap? I know the Creator is the only force, but how can I help my friends when everything seems like I cannot do anything?

R. You can give them an example from the Creator. You can present to them the correct behavior that each one should offer to everyone else in the group, mainly that’s it. How each one should conduct himself towards the others? We do not do that, you can do it in the heart, but for beginners you also have to provide external examples through action. That's what we need to do towards the friends, each one has to do it, according to a person's nature and character. There are those who are more capable of it, those who are less capable. It does not have to do much with spirituality, but rather with the conditions that the Creator placed in them from the outset.

21. S. (47:40) Baal HaSulam writes here, page 534, in Hebrew, ‘’you should also know that in order for the effort to reach the Creator, to make contact with the Creator, there's very harsh conditions that the effort should be as adornment for the person?’’

R. He loves the exertion. Why he loves? Imagine that you love someone. So loving someone pushes you to do something good for that person. Your entire effort, everything you do for the sake of your beloved, that effort, you love that effort, you love it. Rabash would give this example, let's say the Queen of England, she doesn't have to do anything by herself, she has plenty of people all around her doing every little thing for her. But they bring her baby, or a grandkid to her, someone she loves and then what? She'll say, I want to feed him. Is it work, it‘s work? There is a special woman who probably is in charge of feeding this little child, but the queen says no, I want to do it by myself, why? Because it is pleasure, it is not work, it is pleasure, she does it for the sake of loving someone, because she loves someone. So the difference between work and pleasure is only in one’s attitude. It's not difficult for me to do anything towards someone I love, depending on the level of my love.

22. S. (50:15) How do we reach a state where I love to do the work?

R. Ask, ask the Creator this is in His hands. Ask the Creator to love the friends. As Baal HaSulam says, ‘’I wish to embrace the whole world,’’ this is called the love of the world, this is the highest degree of love.

S. Is there anything in the work that we do between us besides asking that can bring me to this?

R. Slowly, gradually, all the actions that we do in the group, in dissemination, in the study, as we talk to each other, by going over all these writings. The Kabbalists have left for us and we wish to, nonetheless, scrutinize them, ascribe ourselves to it, so this work is helping us. Labor, toil, when I wish to understand what a Kabbalist writes about, when he is in such a tight connection with the Creator, and I too want to be in his state. We awaken the surrounding light and we advance.

23. S. (52:01) What is exactly the adornment? Is that joy or an effort?

R. Adornment is when I wish to, more and more, grow, increase a certain phenomenon. This is the meaning of adornment.

Reader continues with (52:39) “In other words, sometimes one despises this work...“

24. R. (53:40) That is from the worst possible state that we are in, if we are able to connect with the Creator then it can become the best possible state, the most beneficial, the strongest one because from the lowest state, I connect to the Creator who is the highest. So do not disregard states where we feel a descent, a fall, disappointment, helplessness. Those are actually the states from which turning to the Creator are the most beneficial, the most beneficial. By that we truly awaken very big forces from that state that we are in in the lowest possible state, the lowest possible world all the way to the Creator, to the root of all of reality, the highest-place.

25. S. (54:44) How can we turn to the Creator from that zero or minus point, how can we turn to the Creator from the state of the minus point?

R. You take examples from everyone, everyone is doing this work, each and every one is measured, is evaluated not by simply wanting to feel what is going on with him, that's not a man rather each and every person is evaluated according to how much he can connect to the Creator from each and every state. As much as possible, meaning the lower the state he wants to connect to the Creator and a more powerful way. Because by that specifically he is carrying out the corrections.

26. S. (55:55) What is the upper Malchut?

R. The Malchut or Kingship of Heaven it is the Creator's will to bestow it's called the Kingdom of Heaven, the will to receive of the created being is called the Malchut, kingdom of this world.

Reader continues (56:25) “but one does not always have the strength.

27. R. (57:14) Meaning although I am going through different states, even the worst states. In other words I don't need to change the state itself, the state itself, but rather I need to change my attitude to the state. That is the main thing because all those states come from the Creator. Therefore I don't ask him to change the state for me and treat me differently because by that I am seemingly saying to the Creator now you are better and the next time you're worse. But there's none else besides him, I get everything from him, so I don't relate to him by saying you should change, no, rather I ask Him to help me change myself so that each and every state you will project onto me, it doesn't matter which one, I will accept it as coming from the good who does good. That's what I'm asking for. What am I asking for in other words, not for the Creator to change and project to me good states but that I should change? That I will correct myself and then accept the Creator's attitude towards me as the good who does good that's the difference. I don't obligate the Creator to change but I am asking him to change me. That's the whole difference between the correct attitude and an incorrect attitude towards the Upper Providence.

Reader continues (59:40) “if he does overcome himself “

28. R. (01:02:38) Atik that's above Arich Anpin.

R. (01:02:59) Although it is higher and it's the source of all the light in Arik Anpin and AA is Hochma and Atik is Keter. In Atik there's everything but the light only extends from Arik Anpin in Hochma.

Reader continues: (01:03:21) “this is the time of rejection to ….”

R. (01:03:38) The Kings crown, Keter, meaning there's Malchut and its Keter, its crown is Atik and between the two we have all the remaining qualities by which we attain the Keter from the Malchut that's how we build the greatness of the Creator between these two points.

Reader continues (01:04:02) “It is written about it in the Zohar….”

R. (01:04:34) He knows to connect Malchut to Keter in all the states.

Reader continues (01:04:42) “The reason is that he follows….”

R. (01:05:19) Even in the worst possible state because he anticipates a change that we will have the ability to demand to approach the Creator.

Reader continues: (01:05:34) “The reason that this discernment is called….”

29. S. (01:08:13) We started reading that the meaning of the prayer that it's more important than the response and I want to ask about what's happening here because I understand when we are deficient for the Creator's help for this connection we are in this deficiency for bestowing and then we are in the king's Palace. But should it always be like this when we are answered that we leave the palace because can we not be in the continuous bestowing using this answer to bring contentment to the Creator. Why do we need to receive with the vessel of reception to leave the palace?

R. When you ask the Creator you awaken pleasure in him. When you receive from the Creator you're also awakening pleasure in him. A person that yearns for connection with the Creator sees in what way he can awaken a greater pleasure in the Creator, either in their request or in the gratitude, in receiving and giving, in what. Meaning he checks himself with what deeds, thoughts, intentions can he bring more contentment to the Creator. That is what a person who yearns must do. From that he will learn about the Creator compared to him and that's how he advances. In other words, if we constantly think by which actions and please, thoughts, can we bring more contentment to the Creator, in this way we advance. That's certain, that's clear

S. Yes, but if I have this constant intention that I bring contentment to the Creator because he's able to answer me and he's able to bestow on me and this is my intention to bring him contentment why should I leave the palace?

R. You don't have to leave the King's Palace, you can remain there in permanence, if you can. The King's Palace is simply the highest degrees of absolute Atik, Arik Anpin, these are called the King's Palace. Meaning, Keter, Hochma of Atzilut when a person arrives there it means he's entered the King's Palace and you don't have to leave it, you don't in fact unless you God forbid do something and they throw you out on purpose so you'll perform more corrections.

30. S. (01:11:50) Is it a prayer to ask for a change in the state that we are in?

R. Of course it's a prayer, if we ask for change in the state we're in and this change will be from our current state to a state of greater bestowing, greater connection also in order to bestow, greater understanding perhaps may be in order to bestow. In other words, if ultimately we are asking for a state in which we can bestow more to the Creator through the friends, then certainly this is the best possible prayer.

31. S. (01:12:54) There was the example of the citron that has a wonderful taste but it doesn't look good and you have the opposite, sometimes that it looks good?

R. That's not important to us, let go of the citron, all of those things you can get confused with all of these discernments it doesn't matter. Especially since it's not so familiar to our friends abroad.

32. S. (01:13:38) What does it mean that the 10 should check what would give more contentment to the Creator?

R. It's very difficult to reach bestowal through other actions other than the act of connection between people. We are connecting to one another and can come to a state where the connection is so strong we begin to feel the quality of the Creator between us. The Creator is simple. I lose my ego a little bit towards the other, and I feel the other inside my own ego. When I relate to him like to myself, to some extent, by that I am beginning to approach the quality, the idea of the Creator. This is how it was given to us. Our entire work is only in bringing the hearts closer although it seems so distant when the world is so much against it. This is what we need to do, this is what we have to carry out, not to let go, and not to stop because nevertheless the future of the world is in that. There is no choice. We will have to be connected to one another not physically but through the hearts. Each one will include all of the hearts inside of his heart and the Creator will then be revealed in this common heart to everyone, to each one, to everyone. This is the work.

S. What does it mean that a certain response awakens and I bestow to him now?

R. I begin to feel all my friends that I previously thought were my friends, and I have to connect to them. Suddenly, I feel that in the connection with them I discover that I am actually connecting with the Creator, that it is the Creator who is behind the friends. The moment that I wished to connect with them with a truly open heart, I discovered that it was the Creator who was hiding behind each and every friend. So I'm coming closer to Him. I didn't know about it because then I would relate to the friend egoistically because I want connection with the Creator whereas with the friends I don't want any connections. So I need to break the barrier that exists between me and my friends. ‘He who is greater than his friends his inclination is greater’, and has a greater barrier to break. I break the barrier this way. Of course it is with and done by the Creator. I connect with the friends and I suddenly discover that from ‘the love of people to love of the Creator’ I truly connect with the Creator. This is the revelation of the Creator but it's done in a vessel that I prepared and assembled from the shattering between our hearts, the hearts of the friends.

S. Is there some addition in this connection between us in the hearts of the friends?

R. No. Within that I discover an addition, another addition, called the Creator. In truth, there are no friends, there's just a single desire. We will discover and see it. The words here might be confusing.

33. S. (01:18:41) We have been taught that we are supposed to turn to the Creator through the 10 and not for ourselves, but here it is said that the best prayer is to turn to Him so that he will change me?

R. No, you don't understand. The main thing is how I relate to the Creator and what I ask for from the Creator is what is important. I ask Him to change my heart and my desire so that I will be able to connect to the friends and then connect to Him. I can turn to the Creator for correction directly even though it is very weak. It is more powerful if we do it through the group but I can still turn to Him and He listens. I'm asking Him to give us connection between us because only through the connection between us can He be revealed. That will bring Him contentment.

34. S. (01:20:12) He writes that a person doesn’t have the ability to feel absolute zero. How does a person have the ability to feel a place that is abstract?

R. A person is a complete zero when he feels that he has only one goal, to be the glue between everyone. He does not take into account any kind of reality besides being the glue among all the created beings. He makes room for Him to be revealed with that adhesive.

35. S. (01:21:24) How to understand and to accept that it is possible to be with a king without being corrected?

R. The connection between us and the Creator always exists. The question is to what extent is that a connection. A connection like a newborn baby who is just crying, who doesn't know his mother, but someone hears and understands that the baby is asking for help and needs to be taken care of. It is the same with us. We cry to the Creator but we do not know exactly what we are asking for, or who we are turning to. Nothing. The Creator begins to take care of us according to our cries. The more and more we ask, the more He takes care of us, especially if we are asking for the right things.

36. S. (01:23:00) How do we accept the kingdom of heaven with great joy in all states?

R. I remember in each and every state I have in life and feel and I accept this state from the Creator, from the Good That Does Good that wants to advance me to the good correct state. I receive this feeling that I'm connected to the Creator, it is all from Him. I do not need anything more than being certain that I received the states that I have from the Creator. It is not about the state itself but that I get it from the Creator and then I can have a sense of joy and confidence that I am positioned in the right way in life.

37. S. (01:24:41) When we think about the Creator we think about the 10. Why do we not think about the Creator when we think of the 10?

R. There is still work to do. I still don't imagine the Creator as an outcome of the 10. We make Him as it says “you made Me”. There is no Creator without a created being, meaning a few people connected together in mutual bestowal who build this concept, this construct, of bestowal, called the Creator.

38. S. (01:25:39) What does connecting to the Creator together mean and how is it measured?

R. I can measure the connection with the Creator to the extent that the group is a single whole system and all the friends there are in a perfect way in my eyes. I love them all and I see them connected together. This is essentially how I feel that I am in the right direction towards the Creator. Now to the extent that I ask of the Creator to be revealed I should not ask for that I should be only asking to know and to be able to shape my actions like the Creator’s, to resemble the Creator. The extent that He will be revealed within me, and that I will understand and feel who the Creator is, all depends on how I awaken myself to make actions that I learn to be natural to the Creator, to the force of bestowal. The more I assemble these qualities of bestowal in me towards the friends and even the whole world, accordingly I rise above my ego and build within me the shape of the Creator. This is how I attain Him. I assemble Him as it is said ‘you have made Me’. There is no Creator without the created being. The Creator is what we make with qualities that exist in nature, the qualities of bestowal, love, and concession. We assemble these qualities like pieces of a puzzle. We assemble the shape of the Creator, the force of absolute bestowal.

39. S (01:28:45) When is patience important in the spiritual work and when is there a need to beat hard with that hammer?

R. I have to be patient if I relate to my friends in the spiritual process because first of all, it is not in my hands, and even higher than that, I am not the one who determines. I submit to Him and agree to everything that comes to me from the Creator. On one hand, this is what is happening; on the other hand I am not sure what else. We have been talking about it so much that I do not have any more words. I think that women especially should try to hear what is written in the book and not reject it but seriously accept it. This is how we need to change ourselves. Not just nod yes with our heads and internally stay the same. At least see that on the inside I'm the same egoist even though on the outside I seemingly agree. Let's try to inspect ourselves and thus behave that everything will happen within us as we learn it.

Reader continues (01:31:17) “It follows that the importance of the work is precisely...”

40. R. (01:32:25) It doesn't matter to me what I'm going through. I am zero, transparent. I do not make any partition between what comes to me from the Creator, everything surely comes from Him. I want to be in front of Him without my will to receive, without my ego that resists what He projects to me. I want to be transparent. Meaning there is no governance for the will to receive and only then it enters Kedusha, holiness.

41. S. (01:33:25) Does a person need to pray for himself?

R. No, everybody should pray for the others. In the 10 I am praying for each and every one as well as for all of them together. This is my role in the 10. The same for each one toward the others. This is how we connect and is how we become a single system.

42. Reader (01:34:39) I think he meant the exercise that we have been doing for three days now where each day we choose someone in the 10 and we are thinking and concentrating our prayers only on him. So the question is when we think only about him, what does he need to think about, to concentrate on?

R. Okay, I'm not in your exercise. What should he think? I think he needs to think of the others, of everyone else. They are thinking about him and he needs to think about everyone. This is how it appears to me.

43. S. (01:35:31) Is the state of being a zero allowing the lights to operate on us?

R. Yes.

44. S. (01:35:58) How do we use the new deficiency that we acquire throughout the lesson or through our meetings throughout the day if we are praying only for one specific friend?

R. I do not know, but that is possible. The main thing is that what we acquire in the lesson we want to realize it in our connection in the 10 between everyone.

45. S. (01:37:10) Is it okay to pray for the duty officers in our 10, two friends instead of one person?

R. I do not know. I'm not playing your exercise. I'm not in your game. I didn't see these things in the writings of Rabash. The fact that you are doing all sorts of exercises like you pray for one and for all of us is understandable, but to pray for one or two or three this way or that way, I don't know. No, I'm not part of that; I have not gone through that. I do not think that this is what the Kabbalists refer to. We're not playing a game of who chooses who here, not that we need to move away from it, but think about the connection in the center of the 10. Of course, go through kind of one by one as I kind of survey every one of the friends and see how I relate to each and every one of them. I want to pull all of them to the center of the 10. But still it should be closer to the articles of Rabash. I haven't seen in any Rabash articles or exercises that we should pray for two, or three, or 10 friends. We need to do what is written. I do not recommend you move away from what is written but rather try to go deeper into what is written, of what the Kabbalists advice.

46. S. (01:39:23) Why is prayer more important than the answer of the prayer?

R. The prayer is more important because it determines your deficiency. The Creator's deficiency is The Good That Does Good at all times, in all ways, and in all shapes and forms. The creature, the created being, determines how much the Creator can be clothed in the created being’s deficiency and advance it. That is why the created being's deficiency is more important than the Creator's deficiency. The created being determines.

47. S. (01:40:17) The question is about the state of 0, the absolute 0. That means that the will to receive doesn't receive any filling. Where do I receive the qualification, this blanket, this cover, the support in order to continue the work?

R. From the study and the friends, and from everything that we are doing. You should write down exactly your state before the lesson and then, add to it, how you are after the lesson and see how the lesson influences you. Follow it and see. From time to time, as you advance in spirituality, you will see that before the lesson you are at zero or even minus, and after the lesson your rise in your understanding, and feeling, and desire to connect, to bring contentment to the Creator, today more than yesterday. That’s how you should examine yourself.

48. S. (01:41:44) Is there a difference between prayer as one for the 10, one individual prayer for all, and 10 friends praying together as one voice?

R. Say it again, please.

S. I'm trying to understand how Kabbalists pray. Do they pray as an individual for the 10, or do they pray as 10 the same prayer?

R. There is this kind of state and that kind of state. Typically, each one awakens his heart towards the Creator. In order to really aim his heart towards the Creator, he has to begin to connect with the friends, but the Creator is the initial cause why I'm doing all of that in the first place. That’s why I'm saying that first, aim the heart towards the Creator, in order to reach Him, to realize this inclination, I have to connect to the group. Otherwise I am completely losing the direction of the Creator. When I connect to the group, I have to reach a state where I need to think, understand, feel what's important for the group. Besides connection, nothing is important to us. In connection we attain the goal. So that’s how I activate the prayer or develop the prayer.

S. So I develop the prayer through my own individual efforts towards connecting with and feeling my 10 more strongly?

R. Yes.

S. But from there, how do we all work to direct a prayer into one singular voice?

R. This is to begin with, when each one aims himself towards the Creator. In order to achieve that, he directs himself towards the 10, and he connects the 10 ‘’as one man in one heart’’ to connect all of them to the Creator. Then, through that point of connection between them, they begin to reveal the Creator. This is according to the rule of ‘’Israel, the light, and the Creator are one.’’ There's three steps. Man, the group, and the Creator, and they all have to be aligned as one.

49. S. (01:45:15) To complete this matter of prayer for friends, because it is an exercise we took from the lesson. Can we either make it more precise, or cancel it? Because if we deviate from the path, we need to understand.

R. Even if you veer off a little bit, or some groups are doing it differently, this way or the other way, it doesn't matter because it’s still experience. Where did you see directly that something is written in this way? It says that the group should pray for the friend who has a problem, has a trouble. Yes, for sure, but for two or for three, I don’t know what that is.

S. Not two, three. The exercise we took it from the lesson. It was that the whole 10 is thinking of one throughout the whole day. On the next day, we think of another. You said that this way we will get accustomed to think of the friends?

R. Okay, that’s fine, that’s fine. Continue.

S. You want to make it more precise?

R. No, no. Not to refine it, but just put effort into that. Yes, keep going then.
