Baal HaSulam. Shamati 195. Rewarded—I Will Hasten It

Reading (00:37): “Rewarded, I will hasten it…”

1. Rav’s Introduction (00:53): This means that for sure we will reach the wholeness, perfection, the end of the path through the correct development but in two things in two paths either by the path of “I will hasten it” or on the path of “in it's time”, the path of suffering and in between these two actually is our destiny, our fate, so what do we choose? As he writes here, that finally everything will reach utter perfection. What is next? The path of Torah means that an ordinary person is given virtues by which he can make for himself vessels that are ready for it, ready for the correct state and the vessels are made by the extension of the light and its departure. As we learned that the expansion of the light and its departure made a vessel that is qualified for its role. It builds in the vessel a deficiency for the light, the expansion alone is not enough, the departure is also required. After it tasted something it can yearn for it after it had stopped.

A vessel is specifically called the will to receive. This is what it is called that he tastes something and then he no longer has it. This means that he lacks something and there is no light without a vessel because the light, it must be caught, must be captured in some vessel so it will have a hold so there has to be a deficiency for this light, for this taste of the light but an ordinary person could not have deficiencies for sublime things. This is for each and every one when he develops, since it is impossible to develop a deficiency before there is fulfillment. As it is written, the expansion of the light and then its departure. So first we seemingly need to receive the fulfillment and then when the fulfillment, the feeling, stops then we will have the deficiency and then with this deficiency we will long for the fulfillment. For example when a person has 1,000 pounds then he is rich and content however if he subsequently earns more Iets say up to 5000 pounds and later he loses the 5,000 until he is left with 2,000 meaning that earlier first he had 1,000 then he gained 5000 so now he lost and went down to 2000 so now he is deficient. Now he has vessels for 3,000 pounds that he is lacking, that he had, it went from 5000 down to 2,000 since he already had it, thus he has actually been canceled and there is the path of Torah for this.

When one is accustomed to the path of Torah to regret the scantiness of attainment and every time he has some illuminations and they are divided so they cause him to have more sorrow and more vessels. This means that each time he has ascents and descents and this is how he builds the vessels. This is the meaning of every Kli, lacking light, that it is not filled, that its light is missing. Thus every deficient place becomes a place for faith. Meaning that it is not that I lack what I had and now it is gone but rather I lack what I was able to give and now I do not have anything to give. Soon we will check that. Yet where it filled, there would be no existence of a vessel, the existence of a place for faith.

This means that if a person would not receive, let's say those five thousand pounds and wouldn't later lose it and feel that he is lacking it then he would have no place for faith. Meaning he would have no deficiency, no feeling of a deficiency that there could be more that is missing and now he needs to establish his relation to the feeling that he had and now he doesn't have it. This article is not so simple. We will scrutinize it, read it a few times and check if we are able to understand it today. So please read it.

Reading 195 (06:52): “Rewarded, I will hasten it…”

2. S. (09:28) What does it mean that he attains the degree of faith when the light enters the vessel and departs from it?

R. I do not understand what he is asking. We are talking here about the formation of the deficiency in the desire, just a desire that he wants that potentially he is ready that is nothing but rather it has to be something that is defined, what exactly do you want? So what is happening here is that the person receives 5000 pounds let's say and later on he loses out of this 3,000 so over these 3000 pounds he has a deficiency. This is how a deficiency is built, not just the deficiency that comes from the Creator. That's something that is well-defined that a person feels already, so what is the question again?

S. Is this deficiency called faith?

R. No. We are not talking about faith for now. We are talking about the formation of the deficiency. That is it.

3. S. (11:24) What does it mean to have a deficiency for the feeling of the light in our case?

R. We get from above all kinds of different states. These states build in us all kinds of fillings and deficiencies. By this we begin to feel what it means to be close to bestowal far away from bestowal, closer to connection, further away from connection, all kinds of discernment with respect to this world, not measurements of this world but rather measurements in spirituality. This is how we begin to acquire vessels for spirituality. It is not yet vessels of faith but nevertheless in that we have a certain relation to distancing versus nearing, we begin to measure ourselves not according to how much we receive or how much we do not receive or we become emptied because we do not have any measurement in that yet but rather our measurement is in how much we nevertheless can yearn for connection between us or we distance between us and then in that we have some feeling, a certain discernment, or not, all in all this is where we are for now.

S. These two thousand pounds in our case is the feeling of connection more or less?

R. It's not how he explains it but you can translate it in this way, that now we have connected and we evaluate our connection let's say it is 5000 pounds and later on we feel that we have become separated, we are farther away in our feeling from each other up to let's say only two thousand pounds so how much did we lose? From 5000 to 2000 but earlier we were only 1,000 pounds right and so in between these 3 states 1000, 2000, 5000, we can determine ourselves. Okay?

4. S. (14:17) It says that he has actually been canceled so the vessels that he had for 3,000 pounds since he had already had it, thus it has actually been canceled, it is not clear what it means.

R. Let us read it again. I’m reading the article Rewarded, I will Hasten it. It is written rewarded I will hasten it, meaning the path of Torah. Through the path of Torah we reach the purpose of creation, the building at the construction of the vessel for the revelation of the Creator. Not rewarded meaning if it is not through the path of I will hasten it not the path of Torah then it is through suffering which is an evolutionary path that finally will lead everything to utter perfection, so through the path of suffering we also reach the purpose, ultimately everyone reaches it, the question is only through which path and in which pace and in which states. The path of Torah means that an ordinary person is given virtues by which he can make for himself vessels that are ready for it; this means that the person himself actually prepares the vessels for his advancement towards the Creator and the vessels are made through the expansion of the light and its departure.

A vessel is a deficiency, a lack, so the expansion of the lack in the desire and its departure from the desire builds a desire such that it already wants the fulfillment; a vessel, a Kli, is a will to receive. This means that he lacks something, he feels that he is lacking something and there is no light without a Kli. According to his deficiency he can say, I want this, I am yearning for this and when he will receive it he will feel that this is actually what he wanted. For the light must be captured in some vessel so it will have a hold, so that there will be a connection between the light and the vessel. So that he receives exactly what he wanted but an ordinary person cannot have deficiencies for sublime things, for spirituality, since it is impossible to have a deficiency before there is fulfillment and he has never yet felt spiritual fulfillment so how would he yearn for it?

For example when a person has 1000 pounds, he is rich and he is content that now he has a thousand pounds and he can do something with it; however, if he subsequently earns more lets say up to 5000 pounds and then loses until he is left with 2000, he is then deficient. Meaning that he had 5000 now he has only 2000 so here a vessel is made which he did not have before. A lack for 3,000 pounds because he had it already. It follows that it had to be canceled, meaning that he had a vessel with the fulfillment of 5000, he was left with a fulfillment of 2000, so now he has a deficiency of 3,000 pounds. But at first he had only one thousand but that doesn't matter and 2000 later, so we always measure according to what he had before and there is a path of Torah for this. When one is accustomed to the path of Torah, to regret the scantiness of attainment: how come I don't have it? How come I don't attain it? How come I don't understand? How come I don't feel?

Every time he has some illuminations and they are divided, this happens within us, it changes all the time, then they cause him to have more sorrow and more vessels. Bit by bit this is how we build the vessels even though we do not feel it but it does occur inside of us, it cooks inside of us. This is the meaning of every vessel lacks the light, that it is not filled, and its light is missing. Thus every deficient place becomes a place for faith but now when the light does not fill the vessel then the light of faith can appear there. Meaning that I do not need to receive what I was lacking, I do not need the deficiency that was revealed in me to fill it in the direct manner but rather I want to fill this place with the light, with a desire to bestow, that I would like to bestow this to the Creator. This is the meaning of every vessel lacking light, that it does not feel that its light is missing, thus every deficient place becomes a place for faith.

Yet, where it filled, there would be no existence of a vessel, existence of a place for faith so we would never reach feeling instead of let us say 3000 pounds, these three thousand pounds, dollars or whatever he had, whatever the currency was, so he wouldn't be able to feel instead of the 3000 pounds to feel the Creator according to the equivalence of form. That if he would want to rise above the deficiency that he feels in in order to receive, if he would rise above it and by that he wants to resemble or connect to the source of the filling, by this he would earn, he would gain a connection with the Creator. We need to try to perform this, to carry it out and then you will feel how it works. Okay?

5. S. (22:16) What is a great profit in the ten? How can we feel that he had it and now he had lost it?

R. No, well in the ten it is already different. We measure everything with respect to the Creator, how much we want to give that place that the Creator will fill. That I had let us say $3,000 and they are gone, so I want the Creator to fill that place and not that I will receive instead of it, some other filling. In each and every place I only want to fill it with the feeling of the Creator and nothing besides that, to pray for that.

S. So can we say that in the ten I had a feeling of a certain closeness to connection and I lost it?

R. Yes, certainly.

6. S. (23:56) Is it possible without reaching attainment to feel a deficiency for connection with the friends in the ten?

R. A deficiency for connection we can fill it even without the wisdom Kabbalah, without our tens that are yearning to reach spiritual attainment but rather the benefit from connection is felt everywhere, between people who work together, between scientists, between politicians and everyone. It is not something special.

S. What is it that the illuminations are divided?

R. That each time we have new discernments.

S. In the article it says that the illuminations are divided and we regret what we recognized before, which contradicts the beginning of the article.

R. I did not understand, where is the contradiction?

S. Baal HaSulam explained that we later regret and wish to get to know more than we knew before.

R. Okay. Well, talk between you and maybe you can understand him and then you can ask me. Okay?

7. S. (27:09) The law of development looks like something that a person should take even without wanting it. He has a deficiency and then the deficiency doubles and each time the deficiency grows and grows, so where's my choice in the process?

R. The deficiency doesn't just grow in a person but rather in each and every person there is a deficiency which is suitable for him which is revealed according to quality and quantity and so we have to realize that all of the deficiencies that awaken in us they are deficiencies that are suitable for us and we need to connect nicely to them, meaning to work with them. We just need to change, we don't need to change the deficiency itself but rather the direction, how do I use it? How do I accept it and what do I do with it? How do I actualize it? This is what it is all about. The deficiency itself, it comes, it is seemingly abstract but how do I use it in order to receive? In order to bestow? For the benefit of myself? For the benefit of others? So by this the efficiency changes but the deficiencies in and of themselves, they exist in a unique abstract form in the soul of man and they become revealed gradually.

8. S. (29:15) He writes here that a person himself can create the deficiency by himself using the means called virtue. What is a virtue?

R. Through the group. When we look at others, when we work together we can use our common deficiencies and therefore a person who had no deficiency before and he would come to us lets say, become incorporated in the group and he has no problem, he does not want anything that is special he just finds it interesting to be among us; however, when he is with us bit by bit he starts to discover that he wants, just like us, the same goals, the same things. This is how it is.

9. S. (30:22) After the light departs, where can the vessel bring additional deficiency? It pushed away the light itself.

R. Where do you take that from? No, it lost it, the loss is also, it's the vessels. What are you saying?

S. Hold on…

R. I'm not going to get into such a scrutiny of the article. It is not really an article, he wrote it as a particular, special, specific thing so that the deficiency, the vessel, all comes from above and people just have to decide, one has to decide what should it be directed to. One has to know that nevertheless he would reach the goal however he has two paths: either I will hasten it or in its time, that is all. Meaning either through the path of Torah, of the light, when he works correctly with his deficiency or he doesn't work correctly with his deficiency and then it is not through the virtues, the powers but rather negative sensations but nevertheless he is drawn forward.

Either he is pulled from before or he is pushed from behind. We need to be sensitive to this, we need to increase our sensitivity each and every moment to how we are advancing. What now is advancing me from the state that I was in, to the state that I need to be in a moment later. By what do I advance? Am I being drawn forward? Do I want to be pulled forward or maybe I don’t want anything and then I become the animate, vegetative, or maybe even still and whatever happens, happens. So here we need, as much as possible, for the Creator to work on us.

10. S. (32:50) Who are those who are rewarded, how are they rewarded and who are these ordinary people?

R. We are rewarded through patience and as much as possible work in the group and they are called, ordinary people who do not enter this wisdom according to their intellect, they are not looking for any special powers but rather whatever they had before them, this is what they want to use as much as possible. All in all, we do not have such a great selection of means but rather what we have are the books, a teacher who explains to us a little bit and the group and that is what everyone has.

11. S. (34:08) How can we develop this sensitivity in the group? Are we pushed from behind? Do we yearn for it by ourselves or are we just like animals and we don’t care about anything?

R. If we do not even look at each other and don’t use the group then we are by ourselves but if we do try to use the group then we are no longer animals, we become Adam, humans. This means that we bring ourselves to a group where we are all drawn to it together, where we reach one form that is called Adam, similar to the Creator and this is the essence of our work. Meaning, we reach a state, as you see there are not so many means in the wisdom of Kabbalah by which we reach the goal.

Eventually either we dry out on the path or we leave or we do not want it and we do not care about anything, we despair or we seriously reach connection because we are in the last generation and only in that way we can truly reach success. So, if we nevertheless continue, we hold by the teeth and we come closer to each other because there is no choice so we reach a state where in the connection between us, which we create forcefully, we connect forcefully above our laziness, above the natural rejection of our ego.

We nevertheless connect between us so specifically we should respect the opportunity given by the evil inclination that is obstructing us from connecting, if we make an effort above it and we do connect, then in this effort as much as we make it even though I do not want it and I am repelled by it and I am tired of it and totally disgusted by it, I cannot do it. So through such efforts, there, forcefully, this is called by the force of faith above reason, we reach a state where there we do discover the Creator who becomes revealed according to our efforts and he brings us to such a success where we discover Him as the one who is saving us from the separation. This is only if we do not let go, we don't leave and when we surrender before these conditions and we are nevertheless willing to do everything up to the very last moments of our life.

S. Personal sensitivity is clear, a person can feel it's being pushed, he exerts more but this common sensitivity, is it something we have to scrutinize in a workshop perhaps?

R. Try, you will feel if there's room for it or not.

12. S. (37:58) So the place for faith is revealed so it turns out that bestowal to the Creator becomes more important than my deficiency but if we will not allow the deficiency to be filled again, let’s say with 10,000 pounds, how can we grow in faith? How does the deficiency for faith grow?

R. I do not quite understand what you are saying. Wherever we are we need to detect in it the tendency towards connection between us and the Creator and as much as we are lacking it, missing it we have to turn to the Creator and ask. Additionally, do it forcefully, we don’t want to hear anything or get anything else only the connection between us and with the Creator and demand the Creator to maintain this connection and try to do it all the time.

S. So we have a deficiency for connection, for a filling, so there is a deficiency, this creates a place and above this place we fill it or it becomes the place of faith the place of bestowal meaning there’s a deficiency for reception, for connection with a Creator and there is bestowal. So how does the deficiency for connection with the Creator grow if we don’t fill it up but rather yearn for bestowal?

R. It is a deficiency that we want the Creator to fill, that He will clothe in it, that He will be in it, we wish to present this deficiency to him.

12. S. (39:51) If in the ten we see that the friends are pushing, how can we influence them?

R. Again.

S. If in the ten we said that the friends are pushing, that they are pushing the friend in the ten so how can we influence that?

R. What do you mean push? When the ten helps a friend to advance?

S. We are talking about the fact that either the friend yearns on his own or he is being pushed, if we see it as a state where we are being pushed.

R. Okay so why not connect to him and also help him advance? I do not understand the question. What is the question? If the entire group is helping someone advance and there's a question, what should I do? I should also join the ten. The question is not clear.

13. S. (41:43) The difference in the example about the money when he loses the money, about the light, he writes here that the light, the illuminations are divided it does not really disappear but rather it becomes divided, diluted, it is not so clear. I wanted to understand.

R. I can’t hear you, can you speak properly?

R. No, not good.

14. S. (42:20) I heard you say in the beginning of the lesson something that I lack, what I was able to get before and now I don’t have it. How could I have a deficiency, that first one of five thousand pounds? I understand if I lose it but.

R. No no you don't have a deficiency, they give you a certain feeling of fulfillment and then this fulfillment disappears and now you have a feeling of “I have a deficiency”, a lack, this is according to the role the expansion of the light and its departure makes the vessel qualified for its role.

S. Maybe you can explain what did you mean by I lack what I was able to give before. How can I lack what I was able to give, which is greater than what I even have?

R. No there is no such thing. I can't understand how you are saying it. I had five thousand pounds now I have only three, only two thousand so I have a deficiency for three thousand pounds that I had and now it’s disappeared and now I remain with only two thousand. So what are you asking, that’s how you build a deficiency you build a deficiency only through the fulfillment this is also what we learned from the wisdom of Kabbalah. First the light created the vessel filled the vessel then departed from the vessel left a Reshimot and through this Reshimot these records that awaken in the vessel, the vessel begins to yearn for the light and now we have only one problem, how can the vessel advance towards the light, be similar to the light but not to receive the light, this is what what the wisdom of Kabbalah is all about.

S. But this is a deficiency for reception not for bestowal, so…

R. No, the wisdom of Kabbalah is the wisdom of how to receive in order to bestow.

S. We have a great deficiency of a friend now which we truly feel. You said something about that, the deficiency when it comes we should fill it with the greatness of the Creator. How do we perform this action when a friend receives some burdening on the path and we want to complete this with the greatness of the Creator so how do we do it?

R. Talk about the greatness of the Creator before him more and more, pray for him and that’s it. It is not according to the topic of the lesson, I'm sorry.

15. S. (45:43) How to use the deficiency correctly in order to expand the vessels from lesson to lesson, from meeting to meeting?

R. We first of all need to think about it from the evening before you go to sleep, before the lesson, whoever is in such a process we need to think of the deficiency for the lesson in order to receive something from the lesson. Just like before a meal when you know you in advance and soon you will have a special meal we approach it, we make an intention for it and accordingly each one receives from it, each one brings from this meal his own deficiency, that is how it needs to be. You receive the material from the lesson in advance and you need to try somehow to go over it.

S. Besides the materials we often feel a lot of pressures throughout the day to connect, how to do it so that as you said not to receive directly but to use it correctly at the moment we are in this state.

R. Try, talk to one another about how much each one is aiming himself at the lesson. That is one thing … connect and ask if you don’t take care of the correct connection.

16. S. (47:40) Deficiencies awaken in us. How do we know that we were able to fill the deficiency with faith?

R. Again.

S. All the time deficiencies awaken in us. How do we know that we successfully filled these deficiencies with faith?

R. We have to work on it all the time and we'll know according to how we progress that we try to fulfill them.

S. What happens with the deficiency if we don’t manage to fill it with faith?

R. It returns in a different form but it returns nevertheless. We must do it nevertheless. We will learn how to do it, instead of one he believes two. I see that the questions are not about the article anymore.

S. What can we take from this article for work?

R. That there are two paths; the path of suffering and the path of light the path of Torah and we need to merit to rise on the path of Torah rewarded I shall hasten it, how did they, were they rewarded by being pure, refined. How do we refine by thinking as little as possible about myself and as much as possible about the others? That way, pass all of our progress to the common vessels of the ten and that's how we come closer to the Creator. If we would not connect between us to take a single step forward towards the Creator we will not advance. If a generation ago or a few generations ago, if we lived then we would be very successful back then but we are in the last generation here we have special conditions for connection on purpose so we have no other choice only the ten and through it forward.

That is it, so try to feel how we are becoming closer to one another in the hearts and help the friends who cannot do it and it won’t do any good to talk to them but rather to speak, to pray for them, to pray for those people whose heart is still hard and they are unable they constantly fall into thoughts about themselves. It's a problem, so if I see it and I call a few people from the ten whose heart is softer and more advanced and I speak to them that we should think about these people who are not able to work with their hearts and we pray for them we pray that the Creator will soften their heart and will be able to connect more and our success, our spiritual success depends on that. All of us, this is the meaning of each shall help his friend, so there is no other way, let's try to work this way okay?

17. S. (51:43) What kind of a deficiency has a higher quality in our path of the work? Let’s say that I come to the lesson feeling that is filled with five thousand pounds but he nevertheless knows that the ego is playing with him, deluding him but he manages to bring all of the friends into his heart and the Creator, he continues the same way even though he is full, or on the other hand, comes to the lesson as a rag feeling anti-everything but he has a deficiency, he’s completely empty, what is of higher quality in the way that we work?

R. Let me say it again. The important thing is that we those who are conscious, who yearn for connection between them and the Creator, they gather and they speak about how they can embrace and strengthen everyone and arrange the walls of the ship in order to advance towards the goal. We have to understand that the Creator is sending those problems and He’s burdening the hearts of those friends who cannot feel themselves in connection and we have to pray for them, meaning that we have to turn to the Creator. What does it mean to pray for them? To turn to the Creator so he would nevertheless soften their heart and they will feel that they lack connection with the rest of the group.

This process whereby they will come closer to the group from their state where they are unconscious about their lack of connection this will help them tremendously and all of us together. Only in this way can we advance, how can we take another step forward and another by revealing such disturbances where time and time again each friend in his own style feels himself or doesn't feel himself or we all feel it or maybe not even feel it so much but he is drifting apart from the group and we are making all kinds of efforts to pull him back in. We have to pray even when we don’t feel that someone is weaker, nevertheless we need to pray for that, we have nothing else for which to pray, only the connection between us. Do not let it go. Other than holding ourselves together we have no other chance to advance toward spirituality, true spirituality that might be revealed now, not like the great Kabbalists of the past, this is for all of humanity, the last generation.

18. S. (55:46) Is the yearning to awaken our friends all the time the result of a deficiency or do we need to increase the efficiency all the time?

R. It is both.

19. S. (56:04) Here it speaks about two paths but the deficiency that is burning in us for bestowal, is this the same deficiency that creates in us a feeling of discomfort, that we feel bad?

R. I do not know how to put it. The deficiency is where we are not connected and we do not prepare a place for the Creator to be revealed because by that we give Him contentment. This is a special deficiency. This is what we have to yearn for. “The end of the act is in the initial thought”, we have to see the final state where we’re in the connection between us the Creator reveals all its power. What do we do for it right now, here and now, one step forward.

20. S. (57:10) When we work in the ten do we have the ability to discover the deficiency that we do not have on an individual basis? Is that the mechanism that works only in the ten?

R. Look, we used to be all connected, we could never feel that we are not one. Then an egoistic desire revealed, a greater desire, and then each one moved away divided from the other, we became instead of one, ten, and instead of ten a hundred, and so on and so forth. How does humanity grow? It grows when the individual's will to receive is divided and divided. Then, each one has a place to express himself and now you see we are eight billion people. This is a result of the increase of the individual desire in each and every one where we keep dividing and dividing. Now we will see a slightly different process because we need to grow now not in quantity but in quality, but this does not belong to us.

So, our work is as much as we can imagine to ourselves that we are in one desire. In corporeality it is not important to us but in spirituality when we are drawn to be in one desire in which the Creator is revealed, to connect to our one single unified source and that is what we are trying to do. All of the Wisdom of Kabbalah, the entire process of creation there’s nothing more than that. You can study a 1000 books, you can be very wise but all that we could do is to connect our desires and we cannot connect them because our desires are like kernels, like little seeds, like little tiny balls that you cannot connect. But through the intentions, through the intentions between them, when they are willing to be connected above this hardness in them, the rejection in them, in this new connection; the difference between the connection that existed in Adam HaRishon is that hardness is revealed. No one wants to let the other enter into him, so we are working each and everyone by expressing himself through reflected light, by wanting above his ego to bestow to others so you have many many of those balls and each one reveals himself; his resistance to let anyone enter into him.

But we are doing a different kind of work, we are asking the upper force in which we all dwell in, to have the opportunity to bestow to the other above our desire, above our nature, it give us an opportunity to connect with the other and this connection is not inside of us but rather it is inside of our intention; the intention between us. We do not change the act of creation, we just want each one of us to come out of his nature, to yearn to be connected with the other, in intention and, in truth nobody enters the other's desire, we simply want the intentions to connect. I lack words, I feel that I really lack the force of expression.

S. Very beautiful picture but I want to understand it all the way. We're two hard balls and each one doesn't want to enter into the other. What now? What happened in the end?

R. On the outside we can unite, not from within.

S. What, as one new complete ball?

R. No, it will never be this way. We want a reflected light from each one of us to connect our intentions that each one wants to bestow good to the other, and then specifically with the ego that is in each and every one, we aim our ego to be for the benefit of the others. So, we connect not inside of us and not to such an extent that we go back to being one ball, no, it will not be this way. Rather we connect outside of us, in reflected light, in bestowal, in giving and we remain the way we are.

S. So what is this common space?

R. All of our intentions, all of our tendencies, all of our desires, all of our yearnings, everything we have I want to give it to others and then all of us are like that. So, it turns out that we build above us above our ego this state where we all connect in our intentions, in our tendencies, our yearnings.

S. And each one remains in his ball?

R. The ego remains, it does not disappear. “I created the evil inclination” that stays and we build this form of bestowal, of unity, of love, adhesion, above our ego.

S. When we come back to being one ball in the end?

R. Not physically.

S. At the end what happens, not physically but spiritually?

R. We exist in our desire, in our tendency. We exist above us in the connection between us: where men's thoughts are where he is.

S. And what exactly is reflected light?

R. This is it, that I want from within my ego to bring my desire back again, above my ego to connect with everyone.

S. Where's the Creator here?

R. The Creator awakens this desire in me, to disconnect from myself and to rise above my ego and to aspire towards connection with everyone. These are all the Creator's forces: He awakens them in me and I yearn to work as if He is doing it in me, and then I come to a state where by myself and with others, we build this force of a bestowal which is the Creator.

S. You are saying that we are now in the time of the last generation and there are new conditions?

R. Yes.

S. What are the new conditions for, for our work?

R. That you cannot advance on your own; this is not the style of correction we are in. Because we must correct the connection between us, that is why you will see in corporeality what kind of process humanity is undergoing in the past 100 years: first world war, then second world war, and now. These are all stages before the revelation of connection.

S. So what does it obligate us now, that the previous Kabbalists were not obligated in?

R. We can ask the Creator to connect us. We can ask Him to build the form of the end of correction. Look at our group, thousands of people all over the different continents who wish to come to know this last form of the corrected humanity.

S. This new form that we are building, how is it related to the first form, the initial form where we are connected in one desire?

R. Before the shattering?

S. Yes.

R. Nothing. We have to reach that form but in the awakening of our own desire. Just imagine that in that first desire we existed back then as well, all the desires, there is nothing new in creation but all these desires were as one single desire. The single desire exploded and created many tiny desires that started to grow by perceiving each other as foreign to one another, and by feeling each other as foreghin they moved apart, not physically but in the feeling move apart from one another; and start to divide into still, vegetative and animate and that is how they existed until they came to a stage where against the forces of separation they started to reveal a small tendency towards connection. That was the beginning of the era of the Kabblalists until today, as Baal HaSulam writes “we are in the last generation”.

S. And we come back to the first form we were in before the shattering?

R. No. We cannot connect into one desire, rather we will be like one desire. As one desire. We want to connect, we only want to connect to one desire that wishes to relate itself to the Creator entirely for the Creator to fill us. So, by seemingly connecting to that one desire, the Creator can be revealed in us 620 times more, because we remain with the force of separation inside of us and we overcome it; then the intensity, the level of our reception, of our capacity, grows 620 times more.

S. So the addition that the new thing is 620 times more?

R. It is NRNHY, now instead of Nefesh of Nefesh the Creator will be revealed with all of His powers without any limitations; Instead of Nefesh of Nefesh, we have Yechidah of Yechida. We attain Him completely, in its entirety and He fills us completely and we are in the final adhesion in Him. This is the process.

S. And then all of the little individual balls become canceled?

R. After this happens? Do not ask me. I do not know. Even if I can imagine something “there is not as wise as the experience”, I am not in it. I do not understand what is happening there, also and The Wisdom of Kabbalah those Kabbalists write about it, they wrote about it a little bit in such a way that you cannot understand it because all of the forces of separation begin to reveal themselves in their true form, their true Klipot, and they undergo correction and they participate in the connection between all the individual souls and I speak about it in such a way that you cannot understand. I can show you where it’s mentioned here and there; the ARI writes about it, about the worlds of the Klipot, but we don't study that because you cannot study things that are not revealed in us at all. But, these things will be revealed after we correct our vessels of reception in order to bestow, all of these things are eventually revealed. That is not a problem. The important thing is to get through our stage and enter practical work.

21. S. (01:12:21) In the article Baal HaSulam, he would speak in Shamati articles and Rabash wrote it down, and if the word ‘Creator' would be replaced by the word ‘ten’ will it suddenly awaken in me different feelings. Can we read it in this way by replacing the word Creator with the word ten?

R. It is incorrect but it might help you for the time being but it is incorrect. The ten is a vessel that has to reveal the upper force and that is our goal, that is what we wish to reveal. So, you are completely replacing the upper force, the spiritual force, the force of nature with the force that you are building by yourself in the ten. But it is okay. It is good that you are searching.

S. I would like to ask and to add that I learned from their friends how to replace the word like this and I understand that behind every friend stands the Creator. So if in such a way in my imagination or something internal that happens inside of a person I say the ten, I understand however that the Creator stands behind everything…

R. My dear, you have to turn to your friends and maybe go through a course or something I don't know what to do, and there they will teach you how to see everything and how we need to advance. But I cannot give you a private lesson right now. And, I feel your heart is good. It wants to reach understanding, awareness, recognition, but there is no other choice. You have to learn this in an organized manner, ask the group or turn to the language heads and they will take care of you. They will also teach you how to ask questions concretely. Fewer words and more understanding and more intention.

S. The ten and the Shechina what is the difference?

R. The ten is when we connect between us; our desires, our longing to connect between us and in that connection we direct it towards the Creator, that is our desires, the ten. The Shechina is when we already from within that ten, that desire to connect together, we ask the Creator to help us connect to a mutual bestowal between us to Him and then the ten becomes the Shechina. That is a good question. Very good question, thank you for asking. But you just need more experience in how to ask and how to incorporate. Very good. Let us move to the next part.
