1. Rav’s Introduction: (00:33) Yes, this is truly our profession that upon these arguments that the Creator creates these conflicts, He prepares all these obstacles for us, the arguments, the disturbances of all kinds, will you learn how to do about them so that's specifically by that we rise on the ladder and reach the end of correction. What the Creator did is that he prepared for us in the shattering of our general vessel all of these obstacles that above them we have to climb and climb and climb and in that way to reach adhesion with Him. Let's see how it is done, but first of all, we need to know that we accept all these obstacles along the way no matter what kind of form in which they are they come to me. I accept them I try to see that they come in order for me to overcome them not alone but always towards greater adhesion with the Creator above the arguments, above all the obstacles, and in adhesion with the group, with the Creator this is how we go from step to step from degree to degree more and more and more.

Excerpt 11: (02:26) “We see that there is no answer to the question ...”

2. R. (02:38) The question was a simple one for everyone, what is that work that you do? Meaning, what do we have to work against the will to receive, against the ego, against the feeling of separation and yearn for connection and press ourselves, each one pressing himself in order not to hear what we are thinking but to go against it. Why do we have to do that work? The question of the wicked one, that he asked one who condemns the path, who does not agree with the path. What is the question? What is this work? What do we need it for? The obstacles along the path. Why did the Creator place them before me? Let him take them back. The answer to this is, “don't run away”, and don't do anything but only one thing, blunt his teeth. Meaning that you have to go against Him actually, to the opposite you have before you, the place before you, obstacles so go through them as if you will understand and realize that they are to your benefit. That these are actually signs from the shattering of your vessel of your soul and you have to overcome them and keep going. We see that there is no answer to the question of the wicked one other than blunt his teeth.

Continues reading: (04:25) “Which is as our sages said ...”

3. R. (5:30) All the obstacles, also come only from the Creator. As in general, everything comes only from him.

Continues reading (05:38) "Clearly, the Creator will not create a creation that is .."

4. R. (05:48) Which is not for the attainment of the goal.

Continues reading: (05:51) “Rather He created this thought so as to fear Him...”

5. R. (06:25) Meaning if I over each and every obstacle I want to scrutinize that this comes from the Creator, I accept a priori that this comes from the Creator because there is None Else Besides Him and I want to continue even though I have this obstacle and I seemingly confused and I can't know how to go forward but I continued in a simple way I received this from the Creator and I have to continue on the path right? Continue on the path even though I see an obstacle before me.

Reading excerpt #11 (07:06) again. “We see that there is no answer to the question ...”

6. S. (09:07) How to practically blunt his teeth?

R. I see if I'm already on the path studying Kabbalah and wanting to advance, then I accept what the Kabbalists, Baal HaSulam and Rabash recommend for me to do. Meaning if I have some obstacle before me it doesn't matter which one and how and with which power, I accept that this came from the Creator and so I have to continue with the group, with the teacher, with a study towards the same goal of adhesion that is all, and it doesn't it's not so important for me what is the obstacle itself. By studying the obstacle and poking at it, I won't really know the answer and it doesn't really give me anything. I just need to know that the obstacle exists before me in order for me to rise above it, above reason.

What does it mean above reason? That I see in the obstacle that I need to go a little bit to the right or a little bit to the left or I have to stop. I have to work with all kinds of wise ideas, but here no, this is why it says,' blunt its teeth, strike it in its teeth. What does it mean to strike its teeth? That I don't listen to what it says. The obstacle says that disturbance is ultimately the evil inclination, my ego. Rather, I go forward towards greater adhesion with a friend, greater adhesion with the Creator, and towards the same goal. This is considered to blunt its teeth, that's it. This actually is the action. Why is it called the above reason? According to what the obstacle brings me, it brings me reason and it says it's good for you to stop and go some other direction ,maybe this way, maybe that way. These are ordinary things that come to everyone, and we need specifically to advance through them. This is what Rabash explains to us.

7. S. (11:53) What does it mean to memorize the words of Torah so that it will always be in your mouth?

R. What we learned along the way, the principles of how to walk, these things will constantly be inside of me in a way that it's sharp, that's all.

8. S. (12:31) You said that I'm going towards greater adhesion but what I'm doing it the heart is dead it's not there.

R. You need to focus and sharpen, hone your direction so that your heart will also be like that, it doesn't happen immediately, but it is done over time. Specifically all of these disturbances, these questions, they come in order for you to strike these questions a few times in the teeth. Meaning continue onward in spite of what they say and then you will see how by that you're going forward and succeeding. You have no other way. There is no other way we have to build in such a way our attitude towards the will to receive that we want to make a restriction over it and have a screen and reflected light and rise upon it. This is called 'above reason', that the will to receive comes, that some pleasure comes, or some obstacle and we rise above it. This is called to go above reason.

S. It turns out that what I do is the action that has to be done but you're saying that desire will join later the inner feeling.

R. You need to reach within this an inner feeling that you're going against the will to receive. You break its teeth and by that you are advancing towards that goal.

S. The feeling of this is advancing against the will to receive?

R. Of course, the wicked one appears before you and it tells you and all kinds of different forms that you need to change your way or path. You have to strike it in the teeth and advance in that way. That is on the one hand you have to realize that it comes from the Creator, and you have to advance, and the advancement is specifically against it.

S. Blunt to blunt its teeth means to go above reason?

R. Yes.

S. What does it mean in practice, what do you do to blunt its teeth?

R. That I disagree with what it tells me right but rather I see it as a correct obstruction from the Creator that I need to rise above it.

S. What is this force that the person has to resist, to blunt his teeth? Where does the person get the powers, these forces?

R. The group and the Creator, but ultimately make it so from the that you seemingly want to do so, and you'll see how that you will get forces, you get forces.

S. What determines a person's ability to ascribe all the barriers to the Creator, the obstacles to the Creator?

R. That he pays attention to it that he doesn't go with his ordinary thoughts and desires but rather he wants to build here a parallel system. That whatever awakens within me is not me but rather the Creator is doing it to me. The thoughts that I now have within me are not my thoughts, it's what the Creator awakens in me because There is None Else Beside Him, in the mind, and also in the heart. I don't want to go along with that. I want to go above that because the Creator is bringing me obstacles and I truly have to go and break its teeth. In doing the opposite of what the will to receive awakens in me. This is how I rise to the next degree.

S. What do we need to do in order to build a parallel system that will create for you the ability not to fall into what's happening in the desire but to specifically follow the fact that everything comes from the Creator?

R. Even in our own lives we have such states where I have some desires that I have to go against this desire . Let's say you're on a diet or you have some thought that disturbs you and you need to overcome it because otherwise you won't achieve your goal. Otherwise you simply follow, as it is written do not follow your eyes, we must not follow the heart. We have to rise above it.

S. What obligates me is it the goal?

R. Of course, of course you said it nicely.

S. Okay but what to do if I'm unable to hold on to the importance of the goal is greatly before me?

R. The Creator sends you more and more such obstructions that pull you away from the path in different directions. By that he gives you an opportunity to resist them, to overcome them, to strike them in the teeth, as we call it and we begin to see in that, the work of the Lord. That He is working with you.

S. After all, from all the disturbances that the Creator is sending, He is sending it in order to disconnect you?

R. He is giving you an opportunity each time, to rise above your will to receive. He is seemingly your trainer. This is how you advance, take him as your trainer and take life as the playing fields that you need to practice on and win over these obstacles. The obstacles that you have before you is your evil inclination which you simply have to move aside from the path so that it won't obstruct you from taking another step forward.

S. What is exactly the training that you have to take against the exercises the Creator is sending?

R. To constantly advance towards connection with the friends with the inclination towards the Creator, towards the good who does good. in order to bestow.

10. S. (20:48) In the preparation for the lesson we write that a person cannot break himself out of prison ,he needs to get help from his friends and not to go to war on his own but here it seems as if this is the work of a person that he beats the wicked one with his thoughts when he attacks him with a question?

R. It's written for the person, blunt its teeth.

S. Where does a person have the power to overcome his wickedness that gives him these thoughts not that the question comes to a person what is this work but rather who is the Creator? Where does he get the power to overcome that?

R. He scrutinizes it bit by bit. that he is facing these obstacles that appear to him on the path, that appear before him. He has to break these obstacles each and everything that comes before him is an obstacle. He doesn't want to get up he doesn't want to do this. he doesn't want to do that or that. Each and every time these are obstacles, many obstacles and he has to know how to advance.so that all the things that are before him it is the Creator who is doing it to him he is giving him exercise has like a good trainer who makes sure that the person will rise and his forces in his mind and emotion so that he wanted to stand one more and feel more. Later on how much all of these things are arranged specifically in order to develop him and bring him to the degree of Adam HaRishon, to the degree of correction. This whole path, this is how it has to be, is through the obstacles.

Then the person starts to respect them and to understand that they are coming from the Creator all of these obstacles they come from the Creator and this is how he works, and it is daily work each and every moment and so if a person accepts it this way then he sees that actually the whole world it's not the way that people think but the whole world was built out of obstacles that exist before each and everyone who wants to reach the correction and the purpose of create creation, from such incidents this world is actually composed as a result of the shattering of Adam HaRishon.

S. Where are the ten and the friends in this?

R. They're also next to the person. They’re also facing those same states. Those same obstacles. For the time being they are doing this work of overcoming the obstacles individually, they don't yet feel the connection with each other. Just like little children, they don't know how to play with each other. Each one of them plays individually but later on the next stage occurs, let's say at the age of two, three, four they are already, they need a society. What does it mean that they already have in them a social development? Where does that come from? From the same vessel of Adam HaRishon that we begin to feel that we have some connection between us and that each one should learn from the other to be connected to the other and so on. This is how we develop and also in spirituality. In the beginning, now let's say a person doesn't feel a need for others but later on he does.

11. S. (25:41) How do the vessels arrive in a person, to say that I must continue on the way? Is there a breaking point?

R. The need to continue on the path comes to him from the point in the heart, it is a point that remains also as it was before the shattering. It remained after the shattering and through it one comes back to the path, and he continues until the end of correction. and around this point he builds each time an area made of corrected desires that is greater and greater.

12. S. (26:41) Raising the importance of the Creator in the ten is this force helping us grow above reason, can this force help us grow above reason?

R. Again?

S. Raising the importance of the Creator in the ten is this a force that can help us advance above reason?

R. Well that certainly is yes.

13. S. (27:24) Faith above reason: is this the upper world or is this the path to the upper world?

R. This is the entrance to the upper world, it's not the upper world itself.

S. How can you raise the importance of 'above reason'?

R. As usual by discussing it between you by reading something by repeating going over the lesson again as usual.

14. S. (28:23) I understand that the question of the wicked one in each and every one of us and this is what advances us, that brings us closer to receiving the Kingdom of Heaven. Is it true to say that this is the path that the Creator is leading us toward spiritual fear?

R. Yes, yes.

S. Each and every one has it this opportunity

R. Yes. everyone has this opportunity

15. S. (29:01) Compared to the first 'what' of the wicked one, the second 'what' is for the person to ask that and memorize it. What is this version when does it happen?

R. We don't take care of that, we take care only of what he writes which is blunt his teeth that's it.

S. The second 'what' is written later down in this excerpt

R. I don't understand what you're asking about

S. I'll read. Blunt its teeth, our sages said that you should memorize it so that the words of Torah will be sharp within your mouth, so that if someone were to ask you something, do not hesitate before you speak but tell him right away.

R. That you should be prepared in advance. You should be prepared with the friends with the group so that you have a foundation so that you're immediately answering all the obstacles that are coming your way and you continue on the path.

S. How does it suddenly get inverted? For the wicked one who asks that?

R. You take away from him all the sharpness by your question, so that if you break the first obstacle, which the Creator demands of you to continue on the path. What's the second obstacle? that you have to establish the fear of the Creator, this is already work in the second stage that you need to build within you a system and advanced in this way

S. Does that depend on who that I'm holding onto?

R. No, that's the first question. The second question is what does the Creator demand from you? That is fear

S. I asked about the second what?

R. You're not listening to what I'm telling you. First of all we need to break his teeth so that we are not going after as it says do not follow your heart or do not follow your eyes. That everything comes from the Creator that's it that's one thing that. The second thing is that all of these things the Creator doesn't do to us in order for us to get to know that there is None Else Besides Him and after that to see him the meaning to agree with him and to follow him. To continue not to just strike the obstruction by the teeth but beyond that following that to go along with the Creator in bestowal. Let's continue and you will see how it develops . He doesn’t develop it further here.

16. S. (34:42) What is my obligation towards my friends so they would feel that I'm supporting them and that I'm not part of the problem?

R. I didn't understand what you are asking, again?

S. What is my obligation towards my friends so that they would feel mutual support from me and not feel me as part of the problem?

R. What do you mean by part of the problem?

S. Like a burden.

R. Why? How is this related to what we are reading?

S. So they won't feel me as an obstacle that I'm supporting attack against the Creator to blunt his teeth

R. I don't understand why my friends to feel me as an obstacle. That we are able to identify with him in the same action or against him?

S. How does he join the friends and the attack and doesn't become part of the obstacle? That I helped them, that I try to help them solve the situation and I'm not a part of the obstacle?

R. You are doing it according to the example. You want to show them how much you were going forward despite all of the obstacles.

17. S. (34:43) On what level can you share the obstacles with the ten so as not to harm the ten?

R. On the level that these obstacles are opposite me.

S. Even though you can do it as often as possible to share with the ten but those just about those disturbances?

R. To share with the group?

S. With the Ten?

R. Yes.

18. S. (35:20) How can we arrange together in our lives the fact that There is No One Else Beside Him, to such an extent that you go with him in agreement above all the disturbances?

R. Again.

S. How to arrange together in our lives the fact that There's None Else Besides Him to such an extent that we go with him in agreement above all the disturbances?

R. This actually is the essence of our action that we have to connect between us and see before us a common disturbance, a uniform one and we have to connect opposite it like in a battlefield like a command unit that wants to attack the enemy, and this is how we do it. Each one of course sees it in a way that is a little bit different but all in all we understand that the obstacle and we understand that it all comes even though it comes personally to each one of us and still we are not able to share our internal impressions are emotional impressions but in the end these action is similar in each one of us and so we together, in that come closer and share with each other in that we want to reach the goal upon the disturbance that is revealed and even though each one nevertheless does feel it in a personal way, within that we are performing a group action.

19. S. (37:29) It says here blunt his teeth not break his teeth Meaning he doesn't want to break his teeth just to weaken it, why do we need it? Why not destroy it?

R. Well, break it, go ahead, and break it. We're not going to get into these philosophies.

20. S. (37:58) Yesterday in the ten, we had a workshop on the importance of the goal, the importance of the place, the connection.

R. Are you asking according to what we are studying right now?

S. Yes, is it according to None Else Beside Him?

R. There is no need for this question.

S. When we send to a friend an action of dissemination, clearly there's going to be numerous disturbances. How can we help the friends to constantly stay focused?

R. Again?

S. When you send a friend or friends actions of numerous disturbances and infinite difficulties how do we hold these friends? How do we support them?

R. We need to try and clarify for them the main thing. What is the wisdom of Kabbalah for, why do we need it for, nothing else besides that if possible.

S. This has to do with forms of dissemination learning about dissemination. What should I do?

R. Let's say I come to meet a new audience. What do I come with? To explain what I am doing. I can explain what I am doing in my narrow sector. If you want to know about it, I can explain it to you over a short period of time and relatively clearly. Let's do that if you're interested. I already restricted them in some areas, at least to know that.

S. When we send a few friends to an act of dissemination. They can't always talk about Kabbalah. They can talk about unity or connection. We know that the friend is coping with something that is not simple. How do we hold them, the friends, not the audience so that the friends will be able to overcome the difficulties and the obstacles that they are facing?

R. For our instructors not to fail?

S. Yes.

R. If they will come to present only one aspect, one narrow facet then the chance of failure is extremely low. I'm coming only with that only that.

S. This is what they have to do. I am asking about us when we send them to do such an action, what do we have to do?

R. We have to prepare them specifically for that. We have to have a professor who is very old but very old. He went to college, very old, he had a little card in his pocket, his breast pocket, he took it out and put it and then said a few words. Then he would take it out again, look at it again, and put it back. There he had a plan, an agenda for his lesson. It was very respectable. We didn't think that he didn't know. He was very organized and that is how he prepared himself. That is how he prepared himself for the lecture.

S. So this is how he needs to prepare, With a small note, that will connect him to us?

R. Yes like I am here now. You see how I get mad, that they ask questions that are not in the same direction because by that they confuse me, and they confuse everyone. If you want then just let us do an hour of free talk where you can ask whatever you want, but not during a lesson when we've already decided on a certain agenda.

21. S. (42:58) How can we relate to the obstacles, to the yearnings towards connection?

R. I know that these disturbances are coming from the Creator. He is sending it, There is None Else Besides him. He is sending it so that I will advance towards the purpose of creation. I am happy about these disturbances. I'm saying, I know what I have to do with you, I will overcome you. I actually consume them, as we say and then I have material with which to advance. How can we grow specifically above the disturbances in spirituality and also in corporeality but we're not aware of it. We grow up, we can grow up only above the disturbances, by seizing them. ascribing them to the Creator, rising above them, meaning consuming them and then advancing. That's how we move forward and then the initial point of departure, the point in the heart it grows and grows above these disturbances more and more and it rises above them and then those disturbances eventually become actual degrees that I can climb on.

22. S. (44:37) I wanted to ask, when I have a problem in overcoming and then I do succeed in reaching the lesson with the ten, then that's okay but when other friends are not present and I pray and I tried to do the maximum so that this friend will come and participate but he is not succeeding and overcoming the disturbances and he doesn't show up so what should be our way what should be our weapon in order to connect him and always bring the friends so that they will be stable on the path?

R. You have to awaken them before the lesson, meaning when do you get up, let's say an hour before the lesson. I wake up an hour before the lesson and I wash myself. I drink some coffee, I read something, I awaken myself and that's how we need to help one another as well, connect between you and scrutinize how you're doing and so forth and so on.

Excerpt 12: (46:17) “Blunt his teeth this means that we must not argue with it but blunt its teeth meaning that we have to overcome it by force ...” Twice.

23. R. (50:15) Look how Rabash writes here so clearly.

24. S. (50:30) What is this force that he is talking about here, to overcome it with force and to treat it with force? What is the force?

R. When a person has a small desire for attaining the goal all the rest he received from the Creator through the ten, he will try to correct with his friends he will get much more power from it that's it.

25. S. (51:13) He writes here that the will to receive is not impressed by that, how is this impression related to this whole thing?

R. This will to receive is not so impressed out of the greatness of the goal, the greatness of the Creator, the group, and each time he places an obstacle before a person. He doesn't want to work in order to bestow, he doesn't want to go with his eyes shut, he doesn't want to diminish his ego, he doesn't want to overcome obstacles, that's why a person has to be constantly increasing the connection with the group. He has to continue forcefully towards the goal. Each time he has to increase the importance of the goal, or the goal is attained in connection with a group, in connection with everyone, in connection with the Creator and there he reaches adhesion with the Creator.

26. S. (52:43) There is a state here where seemingly we should not scrutinize but rather simply go over with force. What does it mean not to do the scrutiny and just to continue forcefully?

R. If I have a certain obstacle, a rejection from something, let's say there's a gathering of friends and I don't want to go there, I don't want to attend, I'm tired, I don't feel like it, I'm thinking how I can escape it or run away from it because I don't want to be with the friends so what am I doing here I have to go I have to force myself I'm going I'm connecting with them, I nevertheless, awaken them with my overcoming, so the day they will get additional power to overcome together because each one is full of doubts. It can't be that someone will advance without some struggle, without doubts, without seemingly being tired, it comes to everyone.

S. So, no matter what I feel I force myself to perform these actions of connection?

R. Yes, and the more you advance we will be in those same struggles but greater. I personally saw it with Rabash. I was next to him by myself in Tiberias and in all kinds of places. We’re only, it was only us the person simply can't he couldn't get up he couldn't do anything, he couldn't move his hand from one place to another, that's the extent to which he would reach zero power and he doesn't know how to go keep going but gradually slowly he comes out of this state until he rises again as a lion and he is doing it, but this is great inner work, and it's not through arguments but only simple overcoming but I have to do it without any scrutinies against the ego there's no point in making all the scrutinies, our ego is, in truth, right but we go above that, you go above reason in a different level. In your place you're right but I go above it. I want to enter the upper world; I don't want to stay where I am.

27. S. (55:55) What builds in a person the ability to be the one who responds first? Who gives the first blow?

R. If a person enters spiritual work then it comes to him truly. After a few weeks he begins to feel that there's an obstacle; it's not interesting, he doesn't feel like it, doesn't want it, and the world becomes dim, asks what do I have in life, what do I get out of the wisdom of Kabbalah and so on and so forth. This comes after several weeks if a person is studying.

S. These over-comings come only when let's say as an example there's a meeting now, so I have to overcome and make this strike blunting?

R. No, that's daily. This overcoming of the will to receive comes to us each and every moment. We feel it in a continuous manner, or we feel it periodically, occasionally, and it doesn't depend on us. This is the revelation of the new states.

S. I feel that throughout the day there are many thoughts that are not related to anything, just thoughts and there is nothing special that I need to overcome. These are simply thoughts they wash you about all kinds of things that are unrelated so what should I do with these?

R. Nothing, just continue to study, add to the study, add to the study to your state and you will see how these thoughts become part of the disturbance clearly.

Continues: (58:29) “A person cannot argue with the words of the spies with his reason...” Twice

28. S. (01:02:00) What is the inner mind that appears in a person?

R. It's following the questions we have in life the more we grow corporeally we have to explain in all kinds of questions and problems that we have before us. This is what grows our external mind, a regular human mind of this world. If we go above reason then we begin to develop an internal mind where we begin to understand and feel the actions of the Creator on us and how we can identify with Him.

S. What is this mind? Is this a different kind of logic?

R. This is how we see the Creator's actions with us, what he is doing with us, why he is doing it and so on, and this work is called work above reason work above the normal mind in the degree of the second mind, spiritual mind.

29. S. (01:03:34) If there is an ideological conflict with a friend and it's very sharp also this conflict, what is the means that can help us?

R. We don't have to get into any arguments and any conflict and try to reach a solution with what you know and what you feel. It's nonsense there can be nothing worse where each one wants to obligate the other according to how he sees, how he understands. He shouldn't do it only to show love and a tendency towards connection. God forbid we do anything more than that. No one understands where he is at, you're still completely outside of truth. So what kind of conflicts can you have? Who is more stupid than the other? So only together study the lessons and enter the verses but don't get into arguments but only in order to understand what is written and advance more. In a few months’ time you will see what kind of arguments, conflict, and quarrels you actually have between you. The fact that one has a desire to convince the other is the worst kind of manifestation of his evil inclination. Let the friend grow up according to his pace, his way and don't disturb him. Just awaken him towards greater participation, greater study that's it. I was amazed to hear such a thing from you.

30. S. (01:05:45) What are these spies, and we also have guards so what are they?

R. These are the forces of our development that appear before us in this way. They watch over us, they push us forward or they don't let us advance and so on and so forth, those are auxiliary forces of our development.

S. They are related to the evil inclination? Do they belong to the evil inclination?

R. Not necessarily they’re in all directions. As it is written, “come in peace and go in peace the angels of peace.” There are those that are seemingly good and those that are seemingly bad. They pull you forward, they push you from behind, they pull you from the front or they don't let you in, they push you from the front and from behind and in all directions but it's all ultimately so that I will scrutinize the truth.

S. If I'm constantly in gratitude towards the Creator in faith above reason I pray for the Rav and the group then I'm bestowing to the Creator?

R. Let's say it's on the way.

32. S. (01:07:46) Is the second mind, the inner mind is this a mind that already works for the desire of the ten?

R. The second mind has to be connected to the ten to some extent and already connected to bestowal. The main thing that it is on the level bestowal and if it's on that level then of course it's already connected to the ten.

33. S. (01:08:32) Rabash writes in the text about two kinds of faith; the faith in the stages and also faith above reason. How to cope with the ego and can you elaborate the difference between the two?

R. There are several kinds of faith, and we will work on it but not now.

34. S. (01:09:00) It speaks here about processes and states that repeat themselves every day maybe every hour or so what should grow stronger in us and what should grow weaker as a result of this process that keeps repeating itself?

R. Check yourself. I'm willing to help but after your checking and show what you had and what you have and in all these questions about how to advance. I never give you the coming states you have to discover them, uncover them.

35. S. (01:09:45) Why is there a need to work from the evil inclination from a position of strength and power not to argue, what is the difference between these approaches?

R. Not to argue because he is right our ego on its level is right and it is called an angel the Creator is activating him in egotistically he is right and we have no reason to argue with it but if we wish to be with the force of bestowal in developing ourselves in that way then we have nothing to do with it, we have to work in a different way. It says bestowal and get a reward in this world, and we say no we want to be connected to all parts of creation to absorb them, to absorb all of them and that's why that's why we wish to be similar to the Creator so those are two different levels so there's no argument. You either wish to live this life, this world or you wish to reach a higher level, the next level to feel wholeness, eternity, and nature and so on and so forth so there's no argument here. The evil inclination, it's just called this way, the ego says that you have to use in order to succeed in this world and your spirit says no you have to rise above it and succeed in what you will discover next so there are no arguments here. Simply separate one from the other. I see sometimes in families there is a child that belongs to this world and there's a child that belongs to the upper world that's how it is according to his Reshimot, his records.

36. S. (01:12:04) What should I do when the wicked one doesn’t ask questions but consistently disregards and doesn’t let you open the work with your heart?

R. Stop it, stop this little perpetrator and work against it. I wish to go above you; I wish to be above you.

37. S. (01:12:33) How to reach a state where you don't have thoughts about the disturbances but are more concerned about the spiritual advancement of the friends?

R. Get incorporated in the friends that are going to spirituality and you have to be together with them and that's how you advance, in studying and repeating the lessons and so on and so forth.

38. S. (01:13:03) To the restriction and blunting its teeth is it the same thing?

R. It's close to one another.

39. S. (01:13:20) If the obstacle is not just thoughts but a negative sensation like a holding a grudge for example, how to work with that, how to strike such an obstacle?

R. It's possible that you can't go directly against the obstacle, but you have to go around it, you have to engage in something else.

40. S. (01:14:08) What does it mean to forcefully overcome?

R. To forcefully overcome means that I want it very much, but I don't allow myself to engage with the thought of in order to receive but rather I force myself to engage in an action of bestowal and I begin to see how I am changing. This is called, overcoming by force.

41. S. (01:14:50) Should I hide from the friends my inner struggle or show my overcoming upon my lack of desire?

R. You can show it and by that you're helping one another by using such examples.

42. S. (01:15:10) How can a person advance in overcoming when he has no strength at all?

R. He has to see, he has to check how he appears in the eyes of the friends in what way, and he should feel ashamed or on the contrary he should be proud for setting a good example and this will give him power.

43. S. (01:15:40) This whole discussion about the response of ‘blunt its teeth', is it relevant for corporeal issues like problems with work, or illnesses, or is it only about being drawn toward spirituality?

R. I am not giving you any advice that has to do with corporeal life. We are only learning according to spiritual matters, what you need to do in order to advance in spirituality, only that. What happens in corporeality and how you'll understand it in your corporeal lives I don't want to enter into that. That's up to you, your problems at home with your family at work I don't go into that only scrutinies towards spirituality and our relations tour that that's the only thing that we're learning about then from that you also understand how to work with it in your family at work and anywhere, but this is not for now. We don't yet have a foundation for that that is sufficient

44. S. (01:16:58) One of the questions you were asked about what to do with a strong emotion and what I heard you say is that sometimes you need to bypass the disturbance and not go straight ahead against it so what's the difference between going above reason and bypassing the disturbance?

R. I don't remember exactly in what context that was but circumventing the disturbance is not to go battle it but to engage in something else instead. If a person feels that he is weak to overcome an obstacle he should engage in something besides it; it will nevertheless help him in his advancement.

45. S. (01:17:55) About what's written here that we shouldn't think about what to answer the wicked but when such disturbances arise, and I immediately try to say that everything comes from the Creator that is good that does good is that already promised that I will leave the control or not or still there is some negative effect from these disturbances?

R. Why? It's a sign that you didn't go out. You have to overcome the disturbance to the extent that you rise above it, and then you can feel the extent to which it helps you rise to the next degree. What is a disturbance? It's like when you see how little children climb up the steps. There are steps and they are climbing on all fours, one step to another they climb with their hands and their feet they climb and that's how you need to feel, that you're climbing upon the degrees, upon the disturbances. Therefore, there should be some bad feelings from the fact that you're going through these degrees, these steps you have to feel through each degree that you have a new feeling, new mindfulness of this, a new sense of it, a new discernment.

S. The problem is that each time the greatest disturbances is when I think one of the friends or me, myself or someone in the ten is drilling a whole in the boat, and if I say in that moment that it's the Creator that's drilling the hole in order for us to turn to Him I don't know if I should do it this way because we still need to solve problems in the ten. I'm always confused. How to work with this correctly? I also hear about this problem from the friends and the Creator drills a hole in the boat is what I'm telling myself. Is that how I am getting out of the control of the wicked ones?

R. So you need to work on strengthening things between you. What's the question? It's not important that one discovers it or another one or everyone does, or they all discover that it's the Creator that's doing this to you, himself towards you, you need to discover the problem. You discovered, yes? Now you need to work against it, how you're going to connect between you as much as possible, that's it.

S. Problem is we still don't really understand what faith above reason is and we still can't work with it so when we see all kinds of disturbances we try to transcend these disturbances and say that it comes from the Creator, but we don't know how to work with it. It doesn't leave us and that's the problem, the problem doesn't let us go.

R. Continue to work. I don't have anything to say. Study together what we're reading here in these excerpts and try to implement them. Try to realize them.

46. S. (01:21:55) The disturbances I feel make me feel to avoid surrendering to the spies and the wicked one, but I don't feel fear of the Creator. How can these external disturbances lead me to feel the fear of the Creator?

R. You will soon feel how you cannot overcome the disturbances if you don't connect to the Creator and then you will have fear before the Creator.

47. S. (01:22:17) I wanted to ask like these problems we talked about that awakened in the will to receive like feeling far from the friends or not feeling like entering a lesson or other things there's also a strong feeling that makes you feel that as a descent so can you take it as a disturbance?

R. You can try. There's none wiser than one with experience.

48. S. (01:23:09) When the Creator sends such unbearable feelings of fear, anxiety, sadness, hopelessness, and you can’t overcome them, you cannot connect them to the Creator, you don't even know how to begin to do that. What is the escape from the situation? Where does a person find relief? What does the Creator want him to do?

R. I don't know. I don't know how to answer you probably we need to take some kind of calming medicines, maybe tranquilizers.

49. S. (01:24:04) Why when he merits the inner mind he has the language to explain to the external mind, how does the external mind understand the language here?

R. That's the question? I didn’t understand.

S. About item 13 Why when he merits the inner mind he has the language to explain to the outer mind. How can the outer mind understand the language?

R. He can't understand but a person will understand what he has those two levels, will understand that the higher-level controls the lower level now in him.

50. S. (01:24:57) When a person overcomes the disturbance he overcomes because of the shame towards the friends is that too called overcoming like against the ego?

R. Yes, nevertheless, for the time being it's the ego.

51. S. (01:25:20) What do the stages say or what do you advise about a genuine apology? What I mean by genuine apology what we hear is that we are building this Creator inside the ten and with these disturbances and obstacles that come before us come from him but once we recognize the evil, especially like me, how do we have a genuine apology towards the ten towards the Creator in these disturbances and obstacles?

R. No, you don't need that. You just need to know whether you are trying to overcome by turning to the Creator and asking for the strength or not. Our problem is whether we're asking for those forces from the Creator or not. The fact that you can't overcome there's no point in asking for forces for that and forgiveness for that that's clear but why didn't you ask, that's the question.
