1. Rav’s Introduction: (00:22) Yes, we are continuing to see, learn how those who want to reach the revelation of the Creator advance on the path. They discover themselves that they are under the control of the opposite force from bestowal and still they advance. They fight with what is called the Egyptians. These are the forces of reception that control each and everyone and do not allow them to advance so easily towards in order to bestow. This is what the Torah tells us about what is happening and they write about it Baal HaSulam and also Rabash and the other Kabbalists as well, however not in a way that is so conspicuous like our two great teachers. We will continue to learn about that. Please.

2. R. (04:00) Here he tells us strictly about a process that can be very long in terms of time and a person should realize that all of these things come only directly from the Creator even though the Creator dresses himself in all kinds of garments of this world various events and then he sees how much she has resistance to get closer to the Creator, to identify him to connect with him. Therefore he says that fury is poured out on him. That the opposite forces to his entrance to a spirituality truly clothed on him, they grab him, control him and do not let him enter smoothly and get closer to the forces of bestowal, understand what is happening, but to the contrary.

The forces that are opposite to this is what He discovers. He discovers that it is hard for him that he understands that he doesn't feel that there are so many disturbances of all kinds and great confusion on all sides about what to do. Here it's the time and the place to discover that it all comes from the Creator and not from anyone else and especially it doesn't come from within the person because the person feels that he has no strength nor desire he is tired but it isn't so. Rather all of these forces come as forces of opposition to spiritual advancement, directly from the Creator. This one should detect and position this before him that these are seemingly his enemies but in truth they are not his enemies they only help himIn that they resist and that now he needs to discover a greater necessity to reach the revelation of the Creator connection with the Creator the force of bestowal and love.

Otherwise they will remain like that between heaven and earth. This means that one time he will want to reach it and another time it will not want to reach spirituality. In this way he can go up and down, up and down in his desires, in his forces for a long time, endlessly. What do we do? Again, what does he have in his hands only to strengthen the society and to turn to the Creator. But himself discovers that he cannot quite turn to the Creator ,sometimes for a few minutes but not more than that. Therefore only the society can save him from this whole situation and now there is also a question how does the society know about it so we have to reveal himself how much he is trying to want to reach spirituality and in that and also from the other side, how much he's weak,he doesn't have the strength,the strength of the desire, the will power what to do he doesn't know he's confused.

These states can prolong for years and years and therefore here we have to see the friends that are in these states and present before them the right work. That's to connect forcefully as much as possible against the desire. against the laziness that we must simply do forcefully above our reason. To constantly turn to the Creator that he will help us. I wish he would pray all day but he is asking for forces understanding of where he is and how to get out of it that the Creator will give him an opportunity are possibility all kinds of such States so that the person will be able to lift himself to rise up and in this way he will be able to get out of the rule of Pharaoh over him. This is why he needs to learn from his friends through envy, lust and honor. How can he get closer to the Creator? How does he get closer to the Creator.This is how it eventually reaches the next stages. Okay?

3. S. (12:11) How can we shorten the time? What does it mean, time?

R. We can shorten the time by praying together and asking together forces of bestowal. then we will rise above our state and get closer to the Creator. I can buy from the friends the forces that they have and this is how we advance. That's it through connection envy, lust,and honor bring a person out of this world that is what is written. Meaning that we are able to use the society, environment that they give examples ,they stimulate me, provoke me, this is how I get forces and I come out.

4. S. (16:15) How to kill the Egyptian in me?

R. Well, this is what we are learning bit by bit. Well first of all it's to detect Him that he is inside of me earlier it was just a will to receive now it is already a will to receive that grows stronger intensifies and it doesn't let me connect with the Creator it stands between me and the Creator and I cannot do anything with it. Through all of my efforts I see that there is no way to succeed in fighting against him. I felt myself as weak and this is how we gradually get to know who is our evil inclination, the Egyptian or Pharaoh. Bit by bit we see that only through the force of the creator when we draw him ask of him all of us together in the ten then to the extent that's we connect between us by that we establish in the group the force of bestowal and then through this force we are able to at least detect better the Egyptian to get closer to him to be against him and then to begin to fight with him.

S. Is this a necessary action to strike him or can you escape him or ignore him?

R. No, we truly need to reach a state where this force will disappear from us, we'll disappear from us. That through it, above it we will reach the force of bestowal of love of connection and eventually the bad forces as well as the good forces if they are established together and they already even help each other it is as it is written that the Angel of Death becomes the holy angel.

5. S. (19:37) Throughout the 40 years I have done everything within reason I have done everything only that which gave me pleasure. I have to study and according to what is written I need to do something against reason so how can I distinguish it is difficult for me as it is for others to do the work above reason?

R. Of course, we can't do work above reason, we have to receive a force in order to rise above reason above our recent means. to receive the spiritual force and then we will be able to perform certain actions with it with this new force but it's not that it exists within us. We cannot search for it but it does not exist within us this force of bestowal and love that comes out of us towards others but only if we work together in a group and we draw from above the reforming light.

S. This is something that will come to me naturally. I have to always wait for it or do I need to perform a certain act to understand what is the correct act against reason?

R. Our correct action is that we connect as much as possible between us. We perform actions in order to get closer between us in order to be as one man with one heart meaning with one desire. In this way we advance between us in connection and towards the Creator with a prayer.

6. S. (22:18) If a person overcomes the mighty hand and he doesn't want to move from the place of holiness and a person says that fury is poured out on him what is that fury that is poured out?

R. It is some obstructive force from above.

S. How is it different from the other forces from above?

R. Earlier he thought that it was he himself, he doesn’t want it, he doesn’t have the strength, he doesn’t have the desire and he ascribes all of these things to himself. Now he already ascribes them to the upper Force.

S. Well, why is fury poured out? Why is the Creator so angry?

R. The Creator is not so angry, we will learn about that later but by resisting to the person, by opposing him, the Creator compels him to want to reach spirituality even more.

S. Meaning fury that is poured out is only resistance directly from the Creator?

R. Yes.

7. S. (23:33) In our society we have the atmosphere, the conditions for a person to be able to make connections above reason to ask for the forces to go above reason. When we receive such forces, from such an awakening, how to turn it into bestowal, as it is written here? How to do it so it will be for the sake of the collective; of the Creator?

R. To come out of the boundaries of society?

S. No, towards our collective - I am sitting in the group, I receive an awakening, I receive the mind as it is written. How do I use it to help the friends and the Creator?

R. Well, this is first of all through a person's inner work that he wants to connect with his friends in the mind and heart as it is written, and later on, through all kinds of connections, of connection that we perform between us in the ten. Outside of the ten we still didn't learn about what to do. But we will learn about it, we will learn about it. It is only through connection above the disturbances that we begin to discover all of the qualities that the Creator wants us to acquire.

8. S. (25:25) We haven't yet received the ability to receive in order to bestow and yet we are required to exercise it, receive in order to bestow even though we haven't yet received this Kli, disability from the Creator in practice. Is it maybe that as we do it we might actually hit something correct and receive some reflected light?

R. You are very confused with reflected light and all of these things. Simply it is worthwhile to just sit and listen, just to sit and listen and bit by bit it will all work out. What you learnt before doesn't matter, it's not worthwhile to mix it up with what you think today. Everything should be put in order.

9. S. (26:46) When love of friends is revealed what is happening between us practically, what is revealed between us?

R. A will to receive, a will to bestow, coming closer to the friends, a greater feeling of how much closer we are to the Creator or farther away from the Creator. All of these things become more clear. That's it.

S. The act of restriction, is it within reason, in the heart or is it both?

R. The act of restriction is in the heart generally all the spiritual actions are in the heart but in order to prepare them so that the heart will begin to carry out these things we need to perform many actions, even basically in speaking, in action and later on our heart will begin to act.

10. S. (28:30) When I disagree with someone but I am willing to make a concession for them, I feel like I am striking the Egyptian in me. If I continue to make concessions but I see that no one is making concessions to me it resists our mind even more?

R. So what are you trying to tell us to get a big ego?

S. Meaning of the place where I meet the Creator is the concession?

R. Perhaps, maybe if you make a concession for you it is so much against your ego that you understand where is its boundary, where is the limit of the ego for the time being and there you attain Pharaoh.

11. S. (29:48) After everything is in the hands of the Creator what is my role here?

R. Everything is in the hands of the Creator, and everything is in the hands of man. In the hands of man, it is the prayer, the request, the exertion, and in the hands of the Creator it is the execution.

S. You also said that my heart is in the hands of the Creator?

R. The heart of people is in the hands of the Creator, that is true.

S. What am I?

R. You will know about that in a long time from now: who you are.

12. S. (34:34) The second trouble is to receive corporeal pleasures in order to bestow. In our world there are ways to measure, there is a ruler, it is in centimeters, there's a thermometer, the ability to measure temperature. I don't see where is our way to measure how to receive corporeal pleasures in order to bestow. Is there a way to do it consciously to receive in order to bestow?

R. You want to shift, to transition all the corporeal qualities into spiritual qualities or the spiritual qualities into corporal emotions. I realize that this is our inner nature to want it to be this way, to want to bring each and everything closer to us so that we can make it tangible. We can feel it in our hands, weigh it, measure it but this only goes along with the force of bestowal that we measure it according to the force of bestowal,not according to the force of reception. And therefore, what we are now not yet able to detect in spirituality and so it is more or less, this is out of lack of vessels of bestowal. The moment we have vessels of bestowal we will be able to relate them with our state and then we will be able to measure where we are. But not before that.

13. S. (37:12) What's the connection between putting off corporeal pleasures and the work with spiritual pleasures?

R. Corporeal pleasures we can feel them and receive them or reject them according to our will to receive. Shame, lust, honor, according to that we can see how much do I reject, what do I get out of rejecting, how much my ego gains from what I did not receive and so on. Whereas, spiritual pleasures are all measured according to the force of bestowal as much as it's not that I don't receive but how much do I bestow. These pleasures through the environment, the environment could be a single person or the whole of humanity. It doesn't matter or the whole of the Creator and therefore, here there is a difference between the vessels in how much we get closer to each other, we operate on each other that's the difference. And then we also measure them and we measure them usually in the vessels of reception, how much we were able to overcome and be above the vessels of reception.

14. S. (39:20) How to work correctly with corporeal pleasures to prepare us to work with spiritual pleasures?

R. If we enter a society and all of our work is connection between us so that there is no more than being connected with the friends and by that to give contentment to the Creator, then according to that we can measure things.

S. Measure the importance of all things?

R. The importance, the intensity, yes.

15. S. (40:20) According to what, can a person tune himself in his desires if he can no longer even distinguish truth from false?

R. That's why we are in the corporeal world where we can see how much we get closer to the friends at least corporeally, doing whatever we can, seeing whatever we can see. To do actions even with our ego, in order to advance spiritually, seemingly spiritually. And that's how we are starting our work because we are in the intention of bestowal as much as possible in the corporeal world. We start like everyday, regular people. If I understood you correctly I am not sure.

S. I just don't understand how to advance in the spiritual work. If you try to scrutinize a certain desire and then it turns out to be false, a lie. You want to keep the Creator’s will if you do it but then it turns out to be completely incorrect?

R. But meanwhile we are learning, we are learning how to correctly value the Creator’s will, to correctly come closer to each other and connect. And that's our life, that is what we do, that is how we do everything in life. In the beginning we used to play with dolls and we would play with sandcastles, later more and more with the real things.

16. S. (43:20) The first trouble I understand. I even agree with it but the second trouble I don't understand it. Why is this the trouble, why overcoming in order to bestow is a trouble that requires help from the Creator?

R. You can't overcome it without the help of the Creator.

S. But he writes that there are spiritual pleasures in it so I am already in[..]

R. In order not to draw spiritual pleasures in order to receive but to be in them in order to bestow, to truly be spiritual.

S. And how do I succeed in coming out of it? If I feel that I am getting spiritual pleasure then it is already a good state and how to get out of that state?

R. It's not spiritual pleasure because in the meantime you want to receive.

S. What's wrong with that?

R. What do you mean what's wrong with it? Everything that you receive that you think about will be in order to receive. It will be a Klipa [shell]. What's the difference between a Klipa [shell] and holiness? You begin to receive spiritual pleasures in order to receive.

S. And for that I need an operation from the Creator?

R. Yes [….]

17. S. (45:00) It says that exiting corporeal lusts, without that we cannot reach spiritual pleasures. What does it mean to come out, to exit the corporeal pleasures and lusts?

R. I can do all kinds of actions, above corporeal lusts. I can rise above them, meaning I feel good, I feel bad or whatever I may have I do not take that into consideration, this is called above corporeal lusts.

18. S. (45:50) I can rise above corporeal lusts if I don't have another pleasure instead of it?

R. Meaning you exchange a cow for a donkey, is that what you mean, you replace one pleasure with another but you remain in the same pleasure, corporeal.

S. Is there such a calculation which is above pleasure?

R. There is a calculation which is when exiting corporeal pleasure.

19. S. (46:45) There's a problem here because according to these calculations even if a person will give up the pleasure and even will be willing to suffer in order to get the appreciation of the environment so much so?

R. That's also correct but that's also corporeal pleasure.

S. But I don't enjoy. I simply see that everyone is enthusiastic, let's say this example of someone who walks with these shoes without a sole, he suffers and everyone looks at him and says he is righteous. That's an example, so how can we feel these pleasures? It seems impossible in the eyes of the environment you are great?

R. We cannot kill any pleasure: either we replace one pleasure with another or we pray to the Creator to help us rise above, and even then we are replacing corporeal pleasure with spiritual pleasure but already in order to bestow.

S. All of these scrutinies of the intentions in each and every desire, we cannot really, if the environment is strong enough, even in the ten, it's impossible. I'm saying it seriously, every moment I have these calculations?

R. Okay, we will continue to clarify it.

20. S. (48:40) Sometimes you say that, in the end there is no corporeality at all, it's seemingly all spiritual in the end, so what I want to ask is: what is the transition between the corporeal and the spiritual?

R. In order to receive and in order to bestow. Corporeal means in order to receive where naturally we are in it from birth and spirituality is actions in order to restore the intention to bestow to the other and the other can be already outside of the person.

S. It is felt as though the transition is such that you cannot really grasp it, it happens suddenly and that's it, you cannot seemingly work with it?

R. You should scrutinize it in the group. It will be easier for you, in order to receive, in order to bestow, for myself, for others. If you don't scrutinize all that in the group quite quickly.

21. S. (50:08) Is the physical meaning of the ten, is this a spiritual act?

R. A gathering of the ten is not a spiritual act but if they wish to reach a spiritual goal, meaning in connecting in order to bestow contentment to the Creator from their connection, then this is called a spiritual work.

22. S. (51:14) What does it mean to have spiritual pleasures through the friends? How do we make that calculation?

R. We learn about it in the group, each and every lesson, how to arrange ourselves, our intentions, our connections between us, so that the connection between us will be as close as possible to in order to bestow, this is something you learn in the group gradually.

23. S. (52:12) We work with corporeality, and with spirituality we get confused but we do work with it and then we turn to the Creator. I would like to understand: what are luxuries in corporeality and also in spirituality?

R. Anything that comes out of the realm of bestowing to others is called luxuries.

24. S. (53:10) Did I understand correctly that there's something, there's a calculation where one is trying to think about what the friend needs to receive, what their deficiency is, what one can bestow to them?

R. I didn't understand the question. What's the difference between all those things you mentioned?

S. He's asking if a person should make a calculation in respect to what a friend should receive and then try to bestow, to detect the friend's deficiency and to bestow, something like that.

R. If they have some connection between them, of course it's something to be concerned with whether or not he understands the friend, whether or not he wants to be closer to him, how can they come closer to one another mutually. Maybe I missed the question. Repeat please.

S. I'm not very advanced, I'm trying to understand the desire of the friend, to calculate what he needs?

R. It's best to ask him, we wish to reach a state where all in all, all of our desires will be connected somehow, will be drawn toward the revelation of the Creator and that's it.

25. S. (55:25) When I invest in the friends and I care for them, how do we distinguish between corporeal and spiritual love towards the friends?

R. I don't think there's a difference, the care between corporeality and spiritual care is the same thing because it's all above my will to receive.

S. Let's say I care for the friend, for certain problems that he has, I'm not certain this is a spiritual matter?

R. I wish to connect with the friend, if he feels bad I wish to connect with him during his time of trouble and help him ease the situation. That's what I'm trying to do.

26. S. (57:20) All of these attempts to scrutinize and update my intention, corporeal and spiritual, to receive or bestow, it's all felt such that because I'm focused on myself, on my intentions, so that there's a different kind of shell and it’s a big confusion and mixture, and it is all a game of Pharaoh?

R. True.

S. So to get out of it, to try to stop trying to diagnose my situation, my shell but focus on bestowing contentment to the friends and to raise the spirit of the society?

R. Okay, one does not interfere with the other.

27. S. (58:25) About the concern for the friends, what the friend asked about. You said that it's good to connect with the friends and ease his trouble, before that I thought that I should help him to connect with the Creator, to justify Him, to go through the state that he's in, so can we do something besides this concern because you said there's no difference between corporeal concern and spiritual concern? We have a friend with a complicated state in our ten, it just grows worse. We don't know what to do if the situation doesn't improve corporeally, so what should we do?

R. Demand from the Creator for the situation to improve, get it out of the Creator by force.

S. What does it mean to demand it from the Creator forcefully? We all think about it and pray to the Creator, so it's only inner thought and concern or can we add some corporeal action?

R. If you're going to add something physical, do it as well.

28. S. (01:00:30) He struck the Egyptian, not letting him satisfy his will. What does it mean not letting him satisfy his will?

R. In the will to receive he saw that he's unable to get what he wants and that's why he goes against that desire. This is the meaning of striking the Egyptian.

S. It is restriction?

R. No, no, don't get confused. I guess all these smart ideas you've heard about restriction and other things, no, follow what's written.

S. He wrote here but only what the intellect compels, meaning only to the will to receive and he remains inside the restriction, in the end of 177. What is this restriction?

R. The restriction is what I have to perform on my will to receive in order to rise above it; this is called restriction.

29. S. (01:02:32) To continue the scrutiny about caring for the friends. Sometimes I see from my ego, I see different certain states and you want to help and you want to approach the friend but you see that there's no one to talk to. How do we penetrate in? How do we penetrate into the friend who's in a state and we actually help him or more correctly, how can the friend begin to hear the friends?

R. You need to show him that you wish to be together with him in all of his states.

S. But he doesn't listen to you, he doesn't hear you, you are with him but[...]

R. Don't place conditions, you simply wish to be with him in all his states.

S. And what next how do I [...]

R. You don't do anything besides that.

S. This is what we pray for, there's something here that I don't manage to grasp?

R. Yes, your work to be together with him is already in the form of a prayer.

30. S. (01:04:05) What does it mean to kill a desire? Does the Creator kill our desires?

R. No, we cannot kill our desires, they are eternal, we need to continue to live with them but our desires, we only need to add the intention to bestow and as much as possible we see these desires are great and exalted and it'll be the same way in order to bestow, you don't kill any desire you simply stop using it.

S. So the Creator can take away from us the desires?

R. Certainly, the same way that we get desires from the Creator we can also lose them.

31. S. (01:05:40) How in the state that we're in can we work with all the actions we're performing in the group so that they will be with the quality of bestowal?

R. The main thing is to be connected with the environment, the main thing is to be connected with the environment, scrutinize less inside of you all those thoughts and philosophies and rather be more connected with the environment and then you will certainly advance in the right way.

S. To be connected physically?

R. As much as you can physically, emotionally, ideologically, it doesn't matter how. As much as possible to be “as one man, in one heart.”

32. R. (01:09:23) Meaning we talk about how, even though there are many forces against bestowal, the force of bestowal although it is weak, it does not disappear, it does not get extinguished rather it continues, until it eventually triumphs.

R. Both the egoistic force and the altruistic force we cannot erase them and cancel them from the world, but only to give each one of them the correct use, that's it.

R. It means that the will to receive that was controlling people, it somewhat has changed.

S. What’s changed? How can we classify in our life that a new King is revealed? Is there such a thing?

R. For us, no.

S. So he's talking about the three signs? What are the three signs?

R. The three signs: the first sign is turning the staff into the serpent and the serpent to the staff, the second sign is that by taking out his hand and not from his bosom, it was as leprous as snow. S. Right now, no.

S. Do we need to advance in these signs?

R. Yes, of course, without this you won't reach the exodus from Egypt.

37. S. (01:19:55) The main work of ours is in intention, the longer we advance, the more you realize that all sorts of actions you're doing are only for yourself. And if I understand correctly, still under the influence of the desire to receive, gradually we come towards bestowal. Where and how can you determine this moment where the switch of intention happens?

R. You have a group, and by your attitude towards them you can feel how you relate to them, whether you want to feel good or in order to save them, to push them ahead and you are the pushing force, as their engine of the group that's only working for them, in order to help them advance towards the Creator. What does that mean? To the Creator, as much as you cause connection between them, and they will come closer to the center of the ten, they will come closer to the Creator because he is in the center of the ten. Try and build such a system and you'll see that it's all close to you in your hands and you can right now start implementing it.

38. S. (01:21:55) To continue about the new king that rose and didn't know Joseph. It means that there was a king who did know Joseph?

R. Maybe, maybe Joseph was concealed and then there wasn't a problem whether he knew about him or not.

S. Because it sounds like there was a more advanced stage before that and then it declined?

R. It seems like that during the exile, it seems that the state is just deteriorating.

S. So what? We just decline?

R. No, we are advancing towards our goal. Along with that it could be that we are declining in our eyes and we don't have the forces to deal with our will to receive but according to that I need the help of the Creator more and more.

39. S. (01:23:05) When the staff turns into a snake and the snake into a staff, what does it mean exactly? And the second sign, this is the question for now?

R. That it depends how we use our will to receive, whether in order to receive or in order to bestow. So then it becomes a staff or a serpent, it either kills us or saves us, and the serpent is a very outstanding example, how through all animals in nature, its poison can either be a remedy or the potion of death.

S. What does it mean that his hand that he returned to be as his flesh?

S. Then doesn't it mean that there is a shared screen, to share the screen, meaning he can share the screen with the people?

R. There's no such ability to share a screen with somebody ever, you can cover friends with your screen and protect them, there are such abilities sometimes, but it's kind of early to speak about that.

41. S. (01:27:27) If I have a desire to receive in order to bestow and I am receiving pleasure with it, is this an egoistic pleasure?

R. Is the purpose that you feel good or the friend feels good?

S. For the friend to feel good.

R. And for you it doesn't matter as long as you feel good. then this is okay.

42. S. (01:28:20) Is it correct to ask to lose the desires to receive and for the Creator to take them away?
