Part 1:

Passover - Selected Excerpts from the Sources. (From Exile to Redemption. #129)

1. Rav’s Introduction: (00:17) Yes, this is indeed the most important point from exile to redemption that we feel ourselves that we are so much in the exile that we can no longer remain in that. That it is pressuring us, that it simply doesn't let us live anymore. It strangles us so that we must run away from this inner state of ours, of each and everyone of us and in the relations between us between man and man, between friend and friend, so that we just have to get rid of our ego that is holding us and doesn't allow us to connect to the friends and all of us together, “as one man, with one heart.” So that through this inner pressure towards each other we will discover the entrance to the upper world, we will discover the Creator who is hidden in such a way between us. This is what we want and even though this desire is still weak, dormant, we don't quite discover it within us. However, nevertheless, we can talk about it and bit by bit it it will open up and the heart will warm up and the friends will come closer and in this way each one will truly feel that he is in a society that understands that rising above our ego and in general above our bodies so that we won't see faces and bodies but rather desires, inner desires inside each and everyone and surely they are yearning to connect with everyone above all the differences.

And thus, we will reach a state where we will truly begin to come out of Egypt, meaning we will begin to leave our ego and all of the thoughts and forces and actions that distance us from each other, keep a distance as they say between us. And we begin to come closer more and more and to that extent we begin to discover the Creator who is hidden between us and in this way we will begin to advance towards the exit. This is called the exit from the exile to redemption and the difference between exile and redemption, between Gola and Ge-ula is the letter Aleph that implies the Creator for us. Aleph is Alupho Shel Olam [the champion of the world] this is what it is called. So let's try to begin to feel how much in the nearing between us we are truly in this pressure between us, that I want to pressure everyone in order to connect, in order to be with them, “as one man, with one heart” and I feel everyone also in this way that they are doing whatever they can and then between us from this pressure the Creator is revealed.

Reading excerpt #129 (04:44) “When he feels the exile he cries out,..”

2. S. (06:13) You said that we will start to identify the Creator and from that we will exit. Is this the order that we need already in Egypt that we have to start with revealing the Creator and this will give us the push of exiting our ego or does it come out after that already?

R. We feel that the Creator is hidden from us, this is called Egypt. The exodus from Egypt means that we come out of the concealment of the Creator more and more and we begin to discover him more and more, until we reach a state where with all kinds of events until we see that we can't quite runaway like that because our egoistic thoughts and desires are holding us and in each and every corner in the thought, in the desire, in all of these corners they are holding us and not letting us to come out of the will to receive for ourselves. And then we don't understand what else we can do and we begin to cry out so that the Creator will help us, that He will deliver us from Egypt, meaning that He will tell us in which way we can get out of our ego, how can we get rid of it, how can we leave it, move away from it, hate it?

And then in such a way when we connect in those individual desires of ours, we do begin to see that it is possible to run away from the evil inclination which is Egypt, our ego, Pharaoh that is no longer holding us it was constantly turning our heart and our head into thoughts and desires about oneself, what will happen to me, when, how and so on. And we will simply be able to run away from it to run away. In this way we will try, we will try to get out this is the work, it is hard work, when we understand more and more all of the details in it and how much the evil inclination, Pharaoh is holding us and not letting us thing about anything besides self benefit which is actually Egypt and that we will think more and more for the benefit of the friends, for the benefit of others, for the benefit of humanity, for the benefit of the Creator, in the direction of outside of us: that I want to serve to help everyone. And as much as we aim ourselves in that outwardly towards everyone, it is considered that I am coming closer and closer to the exit from Egypt.

S. I'm going to refine the question: you said that the Creator will show us the way how to leave the ego and Moshe is also saying in Egypt, “Come to Pharaoh,” meaning how can we get the support of the Creator here, where even if we don't reveal Him now that He nevertheless, like you said will show us, will guide us, will direct us so we won't feel alone?

R. We turn to the Pharaoh because we have no other force, no one else to turn to and we think that's somehow we can manipulate it without running away from Him, without detaching from Him but rather in some way we can remain in our ego but we just need to add something maybe or do something and we will already be taken care of and we will be able to come out of Egypt. Meaning we cannot depict the exodus from Egypt in the right way and this is why it is not so simple and many pages in the Torah talk about this process. Whereas, when we see that there is nothing that we can do anymore that we come to Pharaoh and we see that he does not agree to let us come out because the Creator is always holding his heart, making his heart harder and harder then by that we get closer to the decision that we have no choice but rather to completely tear our connection with Pharaoh, that we must rise above him to come out of ourselves.

And this is called the exodus, the true exodus from Egypt and then we get organized in a new way, a correct way already and we run away. That is, we wait for the night, for the darkness, this is called the darkness of Egypt, when we cannot see in our eyes, in our egoistic senses that we always had we can no longer be in them and we run away. Then it's not important for us which way we run or how we run. The most important is that we have to run away from Egypt and this is how we come out. This is why it is a holiday that we celebrate at night, it is called the night of the exodus from Egypt because we come out in the darkness we don't see which way, we don't see how, the most important is to run away from the rule of Pharaoh, from ego so that it will no longer govern us, that's the most important. And it's an escape, an escape simply in all directions, whatever way possible but out of Pharaoh.

3. S. (14:04) Can you explain: what does it mean that the Tzimtzum and concealment are removed from him?

R. That if we come out of the intention and the desire to receive in order to receive, then we come out of the restriction because we leave Egypt as it is called and then the upper light begins to work on us and we begin to see the upper light, the spiritual light, the spiritual world and this is how we already begin to see what does it truly mean redemption, exodus well it's not simple and it happens gradually, over a long time, relatively but this is how it happens. The moment that we leave the intention of in order to receive, we shift to in order to bestow and in order to bestow it is already different forces, a different nature; it is the upper world.

4. S. (15:25) The question was that if the restriction and the concealment are removed completely we are talking about the final redemption?

R. We are talking about the redemption from Egypt, the exodus from Egypt for the time being, from the degree of Egypt to a higher degree where we run away from Egypt, we run away from the governance of the will to receive in order to receive. We are still far away from the will to bestow and the end of correction as maybe you are trying to say, this is still far away from us but at least we come out of the governance of the will to receive called Pharaoh.

5. S. (16:30) We can say that it is better to escape Pharaoh's influence than fight against it?

R. We don't have the power to fight our will to receive which is Pharaoh. We don't have such powers, we saw it already on ourselves during our whole life in Egypt from the moment we were born from our mother, until as we grew up, until now we want to run away from the rule of the ego. We were always under Pharaoh until we realize that it is impossible to do anything except to run away and then we run away. It is not simple, it's years of preparation and then we run away.

6. S. (17:35) When the Creator gives him the expansion of the vessels of bestowal, the Tzimtzum and the concealment are removed from him which he had through the power of the control of the Klipa of Egypt with their questions and domination but do we not always need the power of restriction and concealment and the power to control?

R. We don't always need it all depends on how much we get closer or far away. If we have the desire to resist the egoistic forces when we get out of Egypt, we leave the will to receive in order to receive and we run away as far away as possible from the will to receive in order to receive, that is all.

S. Should we try to keep concealment and restriction, will this harm the light of Hassidim?

R. What do you mean to keep the restriction and concealment? We have to get out, we want to get out from the restriction and concealment, we need to get out of the in order to receive from the intentions and desires in order to receive for ourselves and then we seemingly get out of Egypt. The whole force of Egypt is in order to receive for oneself.

7. S. (19:31) In this process of gradual expansion of the vessels of bestowal, this Hassidim in the ten that we are working on, is this an accumulation of the force of Hassidim?

R. Yes, it's an accumulation of the force of Hassidim and inside of Hassidim the light of Hochma operates and it delivers us. The true force is the light of Hochma and the Hassidim it’s only just to give the direction for in which direction the light of Hochma operates.

S. To which point does this accumulation go? Does that have something to do also with the reduction of the force of the Tzimtzum that that reduces in the same way? Do those regulate each other? Do they balance each other? How does that work?

R. No forces diminish but rather we rise above them. The forces only increase all of them, the bad force and the good force, also Pharaoh's heart is harder and stronger and his soldiers they also show themselves more and more, how cruel and brutal they are and according to that, Israel also are more resolute that they have no choice but to get out of the rule of Pharaoh and accordingly, Moses also demands send my people away so that they can serve Him.

S. What are the signs? How much does it need to accumulate this Hassidim to the point that we get out, what are the signs here?

R. The signs are endless, meaning that I want to get out at any cost from the rule of Pharaoh. I am better off dead. I must exit Egypt. That's it, whatever will happen later, the Red Sea, die in the desert, it doesn't matter for me. The main death is now in Egypt even though there is all the abundance there except for one thing, that I am in my ego and I feel the governance of the evil inclination over me and I want to be under the governance of the Creator.

8. S. (23:00) You said that we leave at night when our egoistic eyes don't see. What does that mean? Does that mean that we can't receive pleasure in our egoistic desires?

R. Yes, the escape from Egypt it's at night when we cannot see anything, it is already darkness, our presence under the rule of Pharaoh and we simply run away. And it doesn't matter to us which way we run away, the most important is that it will be as far as possible from the rule of Pharaoh, the rule of our ego. Imagine this state to yourselves and how much in that you are organized correctly inside each and everyone within himself. How much he wants to run away from his ego and get out from its dominion, from the rule of the ego, from the rule of Pharaoh and this is actually his only goal and it doesn't matter to him what will happen later.

9. S. (24:18) Can the exile be accompanied by physical suffering?

R. Usually there is no connection and for one who does have such a connection, first it comes to him in some form. We will talk about it later but usually the spiritual success and corporeal success are unrelated for us in the time being.

10. S. (25:05) Concerning the cry to the Creator is it only effective if it is crying through all the members of the ten or is it sufficient to cry internally, individually on behalf of the entire ten and all of the collective?

R. Actually the exodus from Egypt happens when the ten come together and it cries out unanimously. It cries out from the whole ten and to one Creator and the possibility opens up for them to run away.

11. S. (26:10) When the Creator opens for us the gates of bestowal, does he give it to us in each of our qualities or does he give it to us in an understanding that will lead us to all having the same path?

R. We all get out on the same path, we all get out on the same path and here we cannot make any calculations but only together as much as possible, together, we merge, we are connected this is how we go out.

12. S. (26:59) When we unite is that the connection between us and the raising of a cry to the Creator only?

R. Yes, the cry out to the Creator is enough to get out of Egypt but this outcry must be from the depth of our common heart and to the Creator and if the outcry reaches the Creator we come out.

13. S. (27:44) In this exit at night, in the darkness, how do we receive the redemption? How can we understand that we have these vessels of equivalence of form?

R. We want to run away, to run away, imagine to yourself that you are in prison and God forbid, tomorrow they want to cut your head off and now you have an opportunity, one minute to get out of prison. What are you going to do?

Reading excerpt #130 (28:45) “We were slaves… and He delivered us..” twice.

Reading excerpt #131 (30:44) “It is known that there is no light..”

14. S. (32:44) He writes here in excerpt 130, that we need to feel fully the exile so as much as I heard from you the main work that we have is to yearn for the light and not deepen in the exile. So do I understand correctly that if we don't feel the exile sufficiently it means that we are not coming close enough and are not yearning for the Creator enough?

R. That's very true, the most important thing for us is getting closer between us and then we will feel how much we are in Egypt. We need to feel how much we want to get out of our ego, the separation between us, from Egypt. And if we will try to connect ourselves in spite of the separation we will have to fight against Pharaoh and all of his army which is all the forces that distance between us that do not allow us to connect, so if we will nevertheless succeed in spite of it to connect in spite of all the thoughts and the egoistic thoughts and desires that we have which are called Pharaoh’s army then we eventually cry out to the Creator that we are not capable of it and it helps us in that. If we detect what precisely is hindering us in our connection in coming out of Egypt then the Creator comes to us and He fights and we come out of Egypt. And it's the same each time.

Also in the Red Sea, in the crossing through the sea and in general in each and every place where we see a difficulty all we have to do is to ask to cry out and the Creator does these things because we don't have any forces these are forces that have to come to us from above from a higher degree. This is why if we advance correctly and we don't become confused, then always instead of fighting against something we just turn to the Creator and He delivers us from our ego, from our will to receive because He created these forces, He made it so, He arranged things in this way so that in order to get out of the bad we just have to turn to Him, connect with Him and to demand and ask of Him. All in all, this is what we have to attain. This is why He creates all of these problems and troubles for us so that we will run away from them to Him, like a little child that if he's afraid of something, he feels bad about something, he runs away to the parents and he truly hides next to then from something that is bad because he understands that only they can protect him. This is how we are with the Creator against all the bad forces and we also understand later on more and more that it is the Creator himself who is creating all of these scary forces for us in order for us to discover Him more and come closer to Him.

15. S. (37:00) In 130 it is written, so through this struggle our praise for prayer awakens. What is the struggle that needs to be in the ten so that it will be from the depth of the heart?

R. Ascents, descents all kinds of states that we go through that we say we are not succeeding.

S. We see that this actually brings us to despair?

R. Yes, they lead us to despair and then we cry out and it's called, “And the people of Israel cried out to the Creator.”

S. What's the best action in the ten to see that we are truly despairing?

R. Connect between us, we have no other actions, we have nothing more to choose our actions from.

16. S. (38:05) In order to turn to the Creator, first we have to reach a feeling that only He can do things or change things. How do I reach this feeling that only He can do things if I am still under the rule of my ego?

R. We need to try and work against the ego as much as possible, until it is clarified to us that actually the Creator is sustaining this ego and the Creator is holding on to the force of good. Two forces in the hands of the Creator and we need to constantly be attracted towards the force of good and ask from Him from the Creator to battle the forces of evil with our ego.

S. In each and every action, do we have to ask, even in small actions do we have to accustom ourselves to ask Him to do them?

R. Yes, the smallest of them and to truly accustom ourselves to immediately turn to the Creator. Learn from children how they immediately run to daddy and mummy and ask from them.

S. But with small actions we do succeed on our own, I seemingly don’t need the Creator, so how do I reach a state where I ask with big actions? Sometimes I fail and I give up but with the small actions how do we ask?

R. Smart children ask, they learn that they themselves cannot do it and even if they have seemingly an opportunity to carry out an action, they understand that they have an opportunity now to turn to the Creator and then they turn to the Creator, that's more successful. You are addressing the force that is operating all of nature and that's how you'll succeed.

17. S. (40:23) In the text it is written that if the exile is revealed in full then the redemption begins? How will we know that what I'm experiencing is the absolute feeling of the exile, please help me?

R. When you can't find in you any force of bestowal, any force of good, any force of love rather all that you see is in order to receive, your ego, then you have no possibility of emerging from the control of the ego. As in every place you turn to and think and want, it is all your ego that is addressing it and it is wanting it and you have no possibility of running away from this. You are simply inside of this, it is like a prison that's called Egypt. And running away from there is possible only by gathering together and at night, in the darkness where you don't see where and how but because we are together they have the confidence that together they will find the way and then they run away. And they don't see before them anything just like we in our spiritual work, we don't see anything but because they're holding on to one another together. Therefore, they can advance step after step out of Egypt and they emerge from the ego to the control of the desire to bestow.

18. S. (42:50) Turning to the Creator does that mean having faith in the connections between the friends connecting with friends and then praying for the friends, is that turning to the Creator?

R. Turning to the Creator is to simply address and to ask and to cry and beg just because you have no choice and from a great desire that we want to rid ourselves from our ego, from the distancing between us, that's called to turn to the Creator.

19. S. (43:37) Is the Kli considered as the deficiency to only see the singular authority of None Else Besides Him to be in this world or is the Kli the deficiency for connection among the friends?

R. Both, the Kli includes within it all kinds of discernments, also the connection between the friends, also the connection to the Creator. Many, many disturbances. it is all in the Kli, it all exists in the Kli, okay.

20. S. (44:26) You told us that we don't know which way we are going to run away so can't we run away to the place where we raise our prayer, meaning run away into the connection that connects us to the Creator to run there?

R. Yes, that's what we are escaping from ,to the place where we can connect together. Yes, why because if it’s together it is already a place that is closer to the Creator and that's where we need to be to advance towards.

21. S. (45:13) If there is no redemption before we feel complete exile, then why can't we demand exile?

R. Exile is called the control of Pharaoh, that we feel that he is in the desire to receive in order to receive and that's exile from the control of the Creator, whose force is in order to bestow.

22. S. (46:00) Thank you for all the light that you give us. The question is, you said that we have to measure how much we want to get out of Egypt, could it be that the fear of remaining trapped under the authority of Pharaoh, to be trapped in prison in that place, that's the measure that you talked about?

R. Yes, then we receive the control of Pharaoh as death.

23. S. (46:45) Can we turn to the Creator from a state where I realize that not to need the Creator that's an incorrect state?

R. It's possible as long as we turn to Him.

24. S. (47:21) I heard you say that the Exodus from Egypt happens when the ten connects and cries together to one Creator. How do ten mouths reach being one mouth?

R. Unanimous means that they have more or less one desire that's aimed at a certain state; that they want to rid themselves from the ego which is there and controls each and every one of them, and they want to be connected between them above the ego that wants to separate between them and they want to connect above the ego.

S. Why running away is together and not individually, each one feels his ego individually on himself, I want to get out?

R. Right, but the exit means that specifically I start to feel that I am exiting with the others from the ego and then in the connection between us we come to a different desire, a holy desire; from Egypt to Israel, Yashar K’el, straight to the Creator.

S. The question is at what point do I need the others in order to get out?

R. Because we need to be connected, the ten needs to be. We need to be guided, aimed as one man in one heart, by us helping one another. It's impossible to escape from Egypt alone, so who are you running away from? You're running away from hatred to others, you're running away from your lack of connection to others. That's actually Egypt; Egypt is what's between us, it's the ego between us, that's Egypt.

25. S. (49:32) How is it that the light restricted itself in the four phases of direct light and expanded itself in the four phases of reflected light, how come, to Ein Sof and always how did it happen?

R. That we're learning not here.

S. So where?

R. In the study of the Ten Sefirot.

S. I want to study about the Ten Sefirot.

R. If you want, then sit quietly and study.

26. S. (50:21) I hear the despair of the external world more, each day I relate to it as the world of the ten. How can we feel the internality of the friends so then we can run away from there?

R. We don't need to run away from the external world; we need to run away from the ego which separates between us, in our ten. If we have friends and we decide that we are a group and we feel that we cannot be connected, then the distance between us is called Egypt, the distance between us is called Pharaoh which separates between us, it is from it that we need to run away from.

S. Where can we place this pressure on the friends, because this internality in this despair of the ten I don't feel?

R. You need to aim correctly your despair and your attitude towards the right direction, towards the inner force which separates between you; feel that there is something that separates between you and that force is a force that hates you. Therefore, it's pushing you away from one another in the ten, and then you need to rid yourselves from that force, to locate it and to get rid of it from that ten. Get rid of it and then you will succeed; when you connect, then you will start to feel the good forces, the forces of the Creator.

27. S. (52:39) How in the ten can we fill up the quota of the effort of each one, how can we connect the efforts of all of us, some have a greater, stronger desire some have less, how can we not just complain to each other but strengthen our efforts?

R. You need to locate the forces of separation that exist between you, and to note them to the extent in which you can expel them; and work above the forces of separation, to be connected despite the rejection and this is how you will come to an exit from Egypt. That's the main thing.

28. S. (53:42) Continuing a friends’ question, I truly feel that the Exodus cannot be but only together, but when we speak in the ten and we try to scrutinize these states what you get from the friends is only the greatness and you feel that how much they are on their way and you're still stuck behind.

R. So what?

S. How do I join them?

R. You can't run away from them, and they can't run away from Egypt without you. from Egypt everyone leaves, everyone.

S. So how do I close the gap?

R. You connect to them, and you adhere to them, and you run after them with the fear that they won’t let go of you and you won’t let go of them, like a little child.

S. It truly felt like that?

R. Wonderful.

S. But along with that there's a feeling of something behind you that is not letting you go?

R. Very good. That's a sign that you can pray to be with them.

S. So it's only by the force of the prayer, more and more?

R. Yes.

29. S. (55:05) Around the same subject, every friend in the ten is Moses or do we also have children and women?

R. In each and every one, there is everything and everyone.

S. In each one there are all the states?

R. Yes.

S. How do we feel that we're ready to go out, everyone becomes Moses or what we decide in advance, how does it happen that now we get out?

R. That's not what we decide, that's what the Creator decides and prepares us.

30. S. (55:49) It seems like there are two deterministic absolute states: Israel and Egypt, separation or connection, hatred or love, alone or together, so how is the state of Egypt, how in the state of Egypt we begin to be together, to ask together, to think about it together, that already belongs to the next state, you can't be in Egypt and be together?

R. Correct, I understand you, but they understand that they need to be connected despite the fact that they're not connected; that's what we feel before the exit from Egypt, otherwise how do you feel that you have to leave.

S. Seemingly, from the state of suffering is understood that something illuminates from a better state and a person can say my state is really bad. But he’s not in the good state, he is in the bad state and he suffers. So how does he collect qualities for the next state, for the state of Israel when he's in the state of Egypt?

R. Where he's trying to be connected with the friends in the ten, to the extent in which they succeed, then from the state of connection the reforming light illuminates upon them and gives them that feeling that there's something outside of Egypt, and they're drawn towards that.

31. S. (57:31) How can we feel the pressure to get out of Egypt and how each and every day we can add work in order to actualize it?

R. We need to think about this and talk about this more: if we're connected together in this exit from our desire to receive in order to receive and we can come closer to in order to bestow, to spirituality, to internality, to perfection, and otherwise not. Only in such a way.

32. S. (58:20) From exile to redemption you said that it's leaving the intention to receive, my question is: how do we describe this is this either or, or it’s a gradual progress from state to state, it says here in a hurry?

R. It's a gradual process as your exit Egypt; you escape and you run away and run away until you come out of the borders and go through the Red Sea, until we enter the Sinai desert, and so on and so forth. It's a gradual process.

33. S. (59:17) With this approach when we start turning to the Creator and we turn to the Creator so that He will solve our problems, it can help but it can also distance you from the implementation. How do we do the scrutiny correctly?

R. We need to turn to the Creator with everything. There's no problem, it's written that ‘I wish he would pray all day long’.

34. S. (59:54) We run away from Egypt together, this is because of the state that the moment that I will run away from my ego which I become corrected and I discover that I'm connected with all the friends, this is why we say that we run away from Egypt together, from that state?

R. Yes, yes.

35. S. (01:00:40) It seems like everyone and everything is under the control of the Pharaoh, where do I want to run away from him? I don't have the strength to want it?

R. Where to run to I don't know, how to run I don't know, when to run I don't know, I am completely completely wanting to be under the control of the creator. Under the authority and control of the Creator and that's what can save me; that is actually how we do it, and that is what we're coming closer to it. There's no choice, only the upper control, the upper governance can save us.

36. S. (01:01:37) How can we detect the force of separation between us?

R. Through the prayer to the crater; the Creator will shine with his light and we will be able to connect.

37. S. (01:02:03) If now I live and have a good connection with the Creator should we prepare for a descent or for darkness, are these states necessary in order to get out of Egypt?

R. If you're in a good state you cannot ask. First of all you need to locate your real state: That you are in a state of exile, under the control of the ego, which governs you and hides the whole truth from you.

38. S. (01:02:44) We're having difficulty here in the ten trying to distinguish what's the difference between Exodus and redemption?

R. It's also part of the redemption, where we rise above our will to receive and in a general way we exit it to a certain degree; a little bit higher than Egypt. But of course it's not the complete Redemption, it's just redemption from Pharaoh, from the general will to receive which controls everyone.

39. S. (01:03:58) There's a point that we want to scrutinize in the ten: which method can we use in order to fill our vessels in the right way successfully?

R. Only through turning to the Creator in a prayer to raise us above the desire to receive and give us the force to bestow. That's the whole method. If you didn't learn earlier you need to study our previous lessons. I feel all together that there are friends that are connecting to us, but it's not so easy for them to connect. In order to continue correctly and well, you also need to hear the previous lessons.

40. S. (01:05:18) We sit in the ten and a person wants to say something and he makes a calculation what he really wants to say, he's not saying anything new to anyone and maybe he'll just be respected and he wants to express himself and the only motivation is to express himself nothing to relate to the friends or benefiting others. let's say he tells himself okay, I won't say anything, I won't talk, what should he do?

R. There's nothing to do, such thoughts and actions are in each and every one, all of a sudden he has such a drive, what can you do? Nothing you can do.

S. But this is the only force that he has, it's not that something else comes later. You see how later the Creator fills you up after you annulled your ego, you feel new forces, but he doesn't feel anything new either he speaks or he doesn't, if he doesn't someone else will speak.

R. Well, then he should wait until he has a more substantial force for connecting with the friends. Until he feels that that's actually the solution.

S. It's a very high state that we have to reach, what you are saying are very lofty things.

R. Try, try to build it artificially, invite it, and then you will see that it's really not that high or far from you.

41. S. (01:07:11) If we can get out of Egypt only together and there is a friend in the ten that doesn't want to get out because she's comfortable and she's happy in Egypt, what can we do?

R. You continue to advance towards the exiting of Egypt and the connection between you more and more and more, and that will operate on her; this increasing unification between you will activate her as well.

Reading #131 “It is known that there is no light without a Kli..” (01:08:07)

42. R. (01:10:07) This means until a person, how should we say this, until a person feels that he wants to nullify before the Creator, through the ten and all that he has, then he's not yet under the control of the Creator but rather under the control of his will to receive and he is still in Egypt.

Reading number 131 again (01:10:47)

43. S. (01:12:48) What is this state where you surrender to the authority of the Creator and you want only the single authority to rule in the world? What is this state when the Creator’s authority actually exists?

R. Where you nullify your egoism it's like you're not listening to it.

S. You are seemingly Incorporated in the Creator through the ten and there is nothing you that can hinder you on your part?

R. Let's say, the fact that I am under the governance of the desire to bestow the Creator then by that I'm not under the control of the Pharaoh. My ego at that point does not control me.

44. S. (01:13:48) Should every prayer be with such words as help me or help us?

R. Yes.

45. S. (01:14:23) According to what is written in the excerpt we should feel that we learned that we can't feel one thing without the other so if I want to exit self-love, I have to feel where I'm exiting to, I have to feel something that from which I want to exit, otherwise how can I feel that I'm stuck in the ego. How do we come to feel the authority of the authority of the Creator so we can annul before Him, so we will want to know before Him but can't. How do we come to this feeling?

R. To the extent that you want to annul the rule of Pharaoh, the will to receive for yourself, you can imagine to yourself what it’s like to be under the will of another force, that’s the Creator, the will to bestow.

S. According to what you're saying first I have to feel that I’m in self love to feel Pharaoh.

R. You begin to feel that you are in self-love under the dominion of Pharaoh and that you don't want to be in it, in that feeling, and you want to come out from under that authority. In place of that to take on the authority of the Creator to have a desire to bestow, love of others.

S. So here the cause and consequence according to what we learn in general I cannot feel my ego without wanting something outside of it.

R. Correct.

S. In the exodus from Egypt it says that they are trying, they want to bestow upon the Creator, they have this feeling toward it, they understand whom they want to please.

R. Yes even before the exodus of Egypt they feel to some extent where they are coming out to.

S. It really feels that without this I have no Egypt I have no feeling.

R. You don't have a complete feeling when you are in exile.

S. I could be as little as confused, is our work to strengthen the feeling of the Creator? Meaning the feeling of the Creator in the ten from this we will begin to feel what comes out of it?

R. Of course.

46. S. (01:17:46) Who brings a person to the group the Creator or Pharaoh?

R. Repeat.

S. Who brings a person to the group Pharaoh or the Creator?

R. I can't say. I think it's one in the same, it's the same force that's operating on us on both sides--He pulls us out or He pushes us in–it's the same upper force, which we refer to both ways. It's hard to say. In a sense it says that Pharaoh brought them closer to the exodus from Egypt and it's Pharaoh who did all the work.

47. S. (01:19:16) He's talking about he says that there's no light without a vessel and there's no coercion in spirituality. Toward the ego it seems like everything is by coercion, so how can a person tell himself that there's no coercion in spirituality?

R. No coercion in spirituality is when we come out to spirituality and we acquire spiritual forces then we begin to understand that in spirituality, true spirituality, there's no coercion. For the time being we are managed by these two forces, plus and minus, the force of reception and the force of bestowal that work on us intermittently and that's how we advance.

48. S. (01:20:16) It's my intention to exit Egypt sufficient to bring redemption even when I feel I am in Egypt?

R. Yes, it's enough.

49. S. (01:20:54) In Egypt do we discover the Creator, the greatness of the Creator, or the need for the Creator. Is there such a discernment?

R. It's both. We discover the greatness of the Creator that His glory fills the earth and the need for it.

Reading number 132 (01:21:30) “If a person is placed under this rule..”

50. R. (01:22:59) Meaning before we come out of Egypt come out from under the rule of Pharaoh, our ego, we cannot keep any of the commandments, meaning connection between us, and between us and the Creator, you cannot keep that. Therefore everything depends on how quickly can we come out from under the rule of our will to receive and into the will to bestow, that's it.

51. S. (01:23:38) You just said that if we don't come out of Egypt of the desire to receive for ourselves then we can't do anything. Sometimes you say that only through connection together we have to cry out and this is how we come out of Egypt. How can it be both impossible on the other hand we have to connect and then we can come out of Egypt?

R. If we wish to come out of the exile we’re in, the spiritual exile, then we need to try and connect and cry out to the Creator to take us out from that spiritual exile, and this will help.

S. In other words we just need to yearn. We can't connect anyhow.

R. We can only have the opportunity to ask like a small child.

S. How do we develop this habit of asking ourselves with what intention we are working because I find myself not even asking about this, usually it's for myself.

R. That's why the most important thing is if we aspire together for connection in the ten and from the ten it will be easy for us to turn to the Creator. The main thing for us is to connect in the ten because from within the ten it will be easy to turn to the creator.

S.Is it necessary for us to feel resistance?

R. We must feel resistance. This is how we develop a stronger force of prayer of turning to the Creator a request for Him to take us out.

52. S. (01:26:12) If Pharaoh is the main character and he brings us closer to the Creator, so he's actually the pushing force. When do we shift to the pulling force so we will maintain in our inner work both we’ll have a group on the pulling force and the pushing force because afterwards we see that we keep falling back into the pushing force. How do we work simultaneously with both forces and why isn't the emphasis on being simultaneously. How do we talk to this force?

R. You asked clearly. We are on the path and soon it will become apparent to us how exactly we need to turn to the Creator, to Pharaoh, in what way, there will come a time, a state where we will know how to relate correctly to both and who to relate to more and who to relate to less. This will come but the question is relevant.

53. S. (01:27:36) What can help us feel that the ego is controlling us and the situation is worse than death?

R. By trying to connect to the friends to be as tight as possible to one another we discover how nevertheless there's the ego between us that's not letting us connect and he’s not letting us connect he's not letting the Creator appear. That is the problem.

54. S. (01:28:32) When I try to see about the forces that push me to come out of Egypt I sometimes think I want to get rid of my ego on the low level that there is and the ego on the high level is one of the force that pushes me because I know that they're greater pleasures there spiritual pleasures etc, and I think it's a big obstruction for me so how do I get rid of it?

R. Keep going, keep going and all of those efforts will bring you to the solution, I don't even want to say more than that

55. S. (01:29:36) If the state of connection in the ten, is it conditioned on a desire to bestow or is it a preliminary stage?

R. Again.

S. Is this state of being connected in the ten and turning to the Creator together is this conditioned on the desire to bestow or is it a preliminary stage?

R. It's another preliminary stage, but it's close already, it is close.

56. S. (01:30:22) How does a person break himself and come to a real prayer?

R. In truth it's the Creator who breaks him and gives him an opportunity to reach a true prayer.

S. Beyond connecting with the friends and working with them and going together with them is there anything more we should do?

R. Is there anything more we should do? Connection, I have nothing to add. Accordingly you will feel the forces of rejection, the forces of nearing, great changes between everyone and so on and so forth, everything we have learned but there are no secrets here.

57. S. (01:31:25) What is the difference between the exile of Israel and the exile of the nations of the world? What is the attitude of the Creator and the Pharaoh to both nations in spirituality?

R. All of it was given to us to scrutinize only in the feeling of the force of exile how much it is directed towards disconnect us, friends, from the ten, from the Creator, the purpose of creation, and only there only such forces. We always need to think about myself, the friends, the Creator, and there is nothing else, and the connection between all of us, myself, the Creator, the friends.

58. S. (01:32:47) After several checks I saw that I enjoy the will to receive growing in me. What do we do with this understanding? How can I come out of it? Should I come out of it?

R. Pharaoh needs to grow in us, he needs to grow in us more and more, until we feel that he is standing against the Creator and we need to make a choice because the Pharaoh and the Creator are the same force the only difference is the intention in order to receive or in order to bestow. All of our work is only in the connection between the friends and in turning to the Creator as much as possible.

59. S. (01:33:59) When we receive a lack of strong need to cry for the Creator can we wait to do that then or does this need to be done immediately? Like, right now, for example, I will wait to do this after the lesson. I cannot disassemble myself now so I need to be here in the cameras. Can we wait or should this be done immediately?

R. Keep going and scrutinize it by yourself.
