Passover - Selected Excerpts from the Sources. #9

Passover - Main page for all chapters

1. Rav’s Introduction: Yes, so we are continuing our preparation for Egypt and the exodus from Egypt. We need to understand this entire process that we have around the holiday of Passover because it includes the entrance into the evil inclination, getting to know the evil inclination which is ruling over us as Pharaoh. The necessity to eventually run away from the will to receive in order to receive and in the end, at night, we run away from it and we reach the free land, meaning the free desire, Eretz, land, means Ratzon, desire, and free means that it is not under our will to receive, the thoughts that the Creator created deliberately in order for us to feel how much we are the opposite of Him, so that we will be able to emerge from this control and reach identification with Him, with the Creator himself.

And so actually if we can put it this way, our entire reality that we feel before the next world, before the end of correction, this whole reality includes Passover within it. That we feel ourselves as being in a certain unknown state, later on we enter Egypt and there we suffer so much so, that we can no longer bear it and then this feeling pushes us out, out of Egypt. And this is how we come out of it and reach adhesion with the Creator which is called the land of Israel, Eretz, land is a desire, and Israel means Yashar-El, straight to the Creator. So, let's continue to scrutinize these things.

Reading item #9, Twice. (03:05) “We can interpret what Abraham the patriarch..”

2. R. (05:35) That they will be able to perform actions in order to bestow without any justification in the will to receive.

Continuing Reading. (05:48)

3. S. (06:57) What is this quality of Pharaoh that asks this question, why shall I obey his voice, what is this quality in our work?

R. The ego isn't the source of the egoism, the center of this source, and all the rest is already the quality of the Creator.

S. What exactly does it mean in this specific case, it's not that I just want to enjoy something it is with respect to the Creator, some quality that wants to dominate instead of Him or what?

R. Pharaoh is the desire to rule, to be the King over whatever he wants without thinking about anyone, without taking anything or anyone else into account: that is Pharaoh.

S. So, right now, how will I find him, in the ten or what?

R. In each one of us there is this particle of desire called Pharaoh. In each one of us.

S. So, he wants to be instead of the Creator, that's the main thing?

R. Well, if he is the one that is in control, who is managing, then he is in the place of the Creator.

S. So, now in the lesson I don't want to make enough room for the Creator and determine everything, is that it?

R. This is called to be under the rule of Pharaoh, yes.

4. S. (08:57) Why is there this Klipa that influences Pharaoh?

R. Why was the shell created that is called Pharaoh? In order for us to be able to choose the quality of the Creator, to come closer to it, to adhere to it, and to be like Him, to be like the Creator. This is why the shell of Pharaoh was created, the evil inclination, the king of Egypt, the will to receive in order to receive.

This deliberately gives us a contradiction of the opposite form of the Creator and then we can choose light out of darkness. Otherwise, we won't see, we won't be able to discern either the light or the darkness, the will to receive or the will to bestow, then we will be just like this still, vegetative, and animate, only that human, Adam, meaning this animate that rises from the animate degree to the speaking degree, only he can begin to distinguish: what does it mean to be Adam, similar to the Creator.

5. S. (10:47) Opposite the feeling of exile, what should be our correct behavior? According to what I understood, the exile was given to Abraham like a blessing.

R. We have to feel the exile, that we are in the will to receive in the beginning and we agree with the will to receive, and this is why we become slaves, good slaves. We keep everything that the will to receive wants to do within us, after that comes a time when we begin to feel that the will to receive is ruling us, that it is not exactly our nature but rather he is ruling us. This is already called the beginning of the exile.

And later on comes a time of, ‘And they sighed from the work,’ that we don't want to be under the rule of the will to receive, we want to get rid of it. Meaning, we want to get closer to the will to bestow, to be similar to the Creator and then begins the struggle between the will to receive and the will to bestow. And this is how the Creator plays with us in order for us to want to truly want to emerge from under the control of the will to receive. And after we truly want to come out of the will to receive, then we get this liberation, we come out from Egypt and we enter the land of Israel. This entire process is ahead of us now and we need to study it, to understand it, to keep it, to realize it.

6. S. (14:00) Against the quality of Pharaoh we need to learn how to rise to higher states, how to correctly express that?

R. The opposite way to Pharaoh is we gradually, bit by bit, need to develop within us the quality of the Creator.

S. Does this mean to create the states that we are in, or to control them or what?

R. No, it only means to ask the Creator to give such a quality. We have nowhere else from which to take it.

S. We heard from you several times that connecting now before the light comes depends on us still.

R. I don't understand what you're asking.

S. When we build the desire so that it precedes the fulfillment.

R. No, nevertheless, I don’t understand where you are taking this from. It is related to something

but the way now that you are linking one thing to another, I do not know.

7. S. (15:35) What is the narrowness of the sea?

R. It's that our ego gives us all kinds of troubles and by that it actually helps us to ultimately run away from it.

8. S. (16:16) When the Creator answered Abraham, that he prepared the Klipa, the evil inclination for him, meaning Pharaoh, so Abraham wasn't the first, the very first man? What does it mean here? He wants to emphasize that when a person discovers him on the spiritual path only then he discovers Pharaoh?

R. When it speaks about Abraham and Pharaoh, it already speaks about two very clear revelations of two contradicting, opposite forces in nature: reception and bestowal. Before that these forces were not revealed to man, and people were not able to truly discern them, be oriented in them, meaning, they were not on the level of Adam but rather on the level of the animate.

9. S. (17:50) This abundance: what is this abundance that Pharaoh is able to suck out of us, the lower ones and where..?

R. The light, the light, Pharaoh wants to receive the upper light in order to receive.

S.  And how can we, what state are we in right now as Bnei Baruch, how can we fight against this, how can we not allow Pharaoh to be able to suck this light?

R. As much as we are able to defend ourselves to be against the in order to receive, this is how we are.

10. S. (18:53) The exodus from Egypt is the recognition of There's None Else Beside Him?

R. The exodus from Egypt, certainly it brings us closer to recognising that There’s None Else Besides Him, yes.

11. S. (19:25) It says here that they will merit the light of faith since the entire wholeness depends on it. So, what is specifically this faith that allows us to reach wholeness and what is wholeness?

R. Wholeness or perfection, it's the state where a person is above his will to receive, above the will to receive, he is able to govern the will to receive; this is considered whole. And the light of faith, the light of Hassadim that is able to elevate a person above the will to receive and the person then does not belong, he doesn't listen to or doesn't bow down before the will to receive. And he is therefore able to be free.

S. How do we come to that?

R. We will reach it by you studying and doing what we say.

12. S. (21:04) I feel like everything starts from a desire, having a curiosity about something in our work. Can that bring you to fall to the Klipot?

R. Well we need to scrutinize this.

13. S. (21:31) What kind of desires are necessary in the spiritual work, he writes about three desires, liberated desires, what are they?

R. Free desires are desires to receive not in order to receive, free from the intention to receive; this is called free.

14. S. (22:10) What is the distinction between I have prepared an evil inclination for you and the Creator prepared that Klipot?

R. Well you can say it's the same thing, the same thing.

15. S. (22:40) He asks about the vessels and here he interprets that he is asking about the lights. How will they acquire the light of faith, and it is unclear: what is the connection between faith above reason and the vessels that they will have to come out?

R. What does light mean, light means something that is felt within a vessel.

S. Well, about the vessels it is clear, you clarified it, but now he is writing about the lights and faith above reason, it is unclear?

R. Everything depends upon the vessels.

S. So what's the connection between the Kli and faith above reason?

R. When the vessel reaches a state when the light expands in it, it is called the light of Hassidim and it elevates the vessel above the calculation in the will to receive.

S. This is the vessel of the exodus from Egypt?

R. This is something else, don't put it all together.

Reading Item #10, Twice. (24:05) “ When a person should work for the sake of the Creator,..”

16. S. (28:28) How do we take advantage of this feeling, this descent, this Egypt and we don't let it dissipate? To just really take advantage of it, to rise higher and receive the lights?

R. Look, without the force of resistance you won't have the force to move forward because anything by which you can advance, it is only against the disturbances and if there are no disturbances you would not move. Therefore, to the extent that there are disturbances you must scrutinize them, sort them and go against them. This is truly the only force that you have in which to move forward towards the Creator. This is why the Creator says, ‘I created the evil inclination.’ And now you have the possibility to advance towards Me. Now you can sort out precisely where I am and take steps towards Me. This is what happens to us in life.

S. This time it's really felt I think for the whole Kli, this state is happening and I don't want to just go back to the nice, pleasant feeling that it was before, I don't want that. I want to really do the scrutiny but I can't understand what I'm supposed to scrutinize. What are we scrutinizing in this state?

R. We have to scrutinize with which qualities, desires, intentions, forces that we advance towards the Creator. That we advance towards Him in the opposite manner, from the evil inclination. And then the evil inclination becomes help against one. And this is how we advance.

S. The truth is I hear what you are saying but I have to say that I can't, I don't know how to translate what you said to a specific action so maybe the friends will ask and we will see.

R. Why? Wait a minute, if you have some desire in your body that pulls you to some direction, then you should know that the Creator is in the opposite direction. Is this clear?

S. Yes, that's very clear, actually it's also felt on the flesh but when you do this opposite action am I supposed to receive some response?

R. Well then we shall scrutinize what to do but first of all we should know that all of the desires that we have, that exist within us, they are all opposite to the Creator.

17. S. (32:10) Following the dialogue with a friend and the answer you gave, I am asking: where does this need to come every time anew towards the Creator, that we feel that we can't do without him and each time it happens again? Where does this need come from?

R. Well that is something else already. We didn't talk about this so much, we will talk about it. Each and everything has to be in its place. Now we are talking about how do we detect which direction the Creator is in, so anything that pulls us, we know that the Creator is in the opposite direction.

S. We basically say faith, that we have to work in faith above reason; that is basically our whole path. So, every time you feel like you come to that state where you need to go above your reason, you get to a certain point with which you feel that you can't go on and maybe, it is like the way I understand the previous excerpt, it is the state of the narrowing of the sea and that you can't go on and that you need the Creator’s help and that you trust that you can receive it. Where do you get this strength?

R. We haven't reached this yet. I still don't want to get help from anywhere. Do you understand how much you are not with us?

18. S. (33:50) Just to clarify something: when the Creator showed the land of Israel as an inheritance to Abraham, isn't that some sort of, is it considered as some sort of reward?

R. It will be a reward, certainly the land of Israel will be as a reward but in the meantime we have to understand what is this work in return for which we can receive a state called the land of Israel: it's a state. That's it.

19. S. (34:40) The evil inclination is very cunning. How to know that it truly comes from the evil inclination and not from the cunningness of it and really find the Creator?

R. I don't understand what you are mumbling there. Can you speak clearly?

S. How do I know that it is not the cunningness of the evil inclination?

R. I don't know! In the meantime I receive or accept whatever the evil inclinations gives me. I don’t say that it is the good inclination or the evil inclination but I’m going to scrutinize it. This is the beginning of our work in Egypt , that we don't know, is it the evil inclination or the good inclination? Where does it come from? Where is it pulling me to? All of these things I need to scrutinize them. All of our work in Egypt is to be between two forces: the Creator and Pharaoh and when we decide that we must exit from the rule of Pharaoh, then it is considered that we run away from Egypt in the direction of the Creator, in the direction of the will to bestow, in the direction of the land of Israel.

20. S. (36:35) We live with this bad feeling constantly and I think I hear you saying that specifically through weakness we feel our inability to be liberated. That's basically our force or is it not the light that gives us the power, or is it specifically this deficiency?

R. The light and the lack are two sides of the same force; the darkness and the light are actually one, it just depends in which form it shines on us.

21. S. (37:30) How to feel that all the actions I do in the ten towards the friends are actually coming from the ego, from Pharaoh?

R. Well, keep going and check it out and you will see how to feel it. To feel it means to work with it and then you will find out.

S. For now it is not felt that way: what will give me the feeling?

R. Keep going, keep going and try to see what forces are operating within you.

22. S. (38:18) How do you distinguish between good and evil?

R. How do we scrutinize and sort between the bad and the good? Good means that I want to connect to the friends and together with them I want to connect with the Creator. All in all, there are just two steps here that I need to take. This is called good, and bad is the opposite form, with all kinds of excuses that I don't want to do good. Good means connection in the direction of returning to the system of Adam HaRishon and bad is the opposite.

S. Because earlier it was said that anything to which the desire pulls me is the opposite of the Creator. So let's say, I have the desire to get up for the Morning Lesson, the desire to disseminate, the desire to have a workshop with the friends, what about all of those?

R. I didn't say that any desire that pulls you that appears in you is bad. It depends on which direction it is pulling you to: towards connection or the opposite.

23. S. (40:00) How to increase the Hisaron of my friends?

R. How to increase the deficiencies? Through an example, you need to give them an example, and they will take that example and then they will rise in their deficiencies as well. Only through an example.

24. S. (40:45) What should we understand from the word…, that Pharaoh is like the back of the neck, Oref, what should we understand from it and how can we implement it in the ten?

R. Oref, the back of the neck is the opposite form of the desire to bestow. That's it, it's the opposite form.

25. S. (41:30) When we are inside of these clamps of the force of Pharaoh, even if we understand it in our mind, it is not enough in order to connect, we have to turn to the Creator. So what should we do if we don't have this desire in the heart? We need to want it or is it enough to just understand it and turn to Him with words?

R. It is enough to understand it and to turn to Him even if there is no special desire for it. Later on, gradually, the desire will come.

26. S. (42:33) In order to discover the desire for the help of the Creator should we exhaust our efforts to exit from the nature of reception to the nature of bestowal?

R. It's possible but it is not necessary. Otherwise you'll wait for 1,000 years, until you will exhaust yourselves. You'll keep searching for something else and something else. You need to try and support each other so that immediately, you will turn to the Creator because only He can truly help you.

27. S. (43:10) What is this NRNHY of the Neshama? Is it the land of Israel?

R. NRNHY of the Neshama: it's all of the lights. All of the light that fills our soul.

28. S. (43:50) If I receive a desire that pulls me towards connection but it is not, let's say, according to the rules or it seems to me that it is unethical what is with that?

R. You should yearn to reach desires that we learn about and with them we can get closer to the connection between us and to the Creator. Full stop, that’s it. Don't bring to us all kinds of your own incorrect thoughts and desires.

29. S. (44:50) All the objections and rejections that we get from the Creator that we want to come closer and acquire the quality of bestowal, this is what creates the vessels with which it will be possible to discover the Creator?

R. Yes, yes or at least begin with that.

30. S. (45:28) When Pharaoh steals our light we also feel joy and an ascent that he gives us forces, just like the forces that come from the Creator? Do we feel it the same way?

R. Yes, we still cannot discern the difference.

31. S. (46:10) These excerpts that we read, they seemingly calm you down. They tell you that the evil inclination was made by the Creator in order to develop within you the required desire so that you will turn to Him, and you turn to Him, and it seems like maybe He helps you.

Then again, the will to receive grows and you understand that it comes from the Creator. But when does this true desire come: when you want to exit the will to receive because each time you pacify yourself or it comes from the Creator or this is how it has to be but there’s no true desire to emerge, to come out, there is just the understanding that the Creator does it deliberately?

R. The Creator does it deliberately so that you will want to come out of your ego.

S. Is it just that if you come out of the egoism, seemingly, you lose your connection with Him, with the Creator, you have nothing else to hold on to. So how will you be connected to the Creator if not in such a way?

R. So what? Wasn't the ego also given to you by the Creator?

S. Yes, that is what I'm talking about and the excerpts also tell us about it: that everything comes from the Creator but you have a desire to come out of it but on the other hand, you will seemingly disconnect from the work that He is giving you?

R. So you should come closer to Him in order to bestow and not to receive, and then you will come closer to the Creator, otherwise you are the opposite of the Creator.

S. It is just that the source excerpts tell us that He is giving us all of this work in order for us to develop our request to Him and if you want to emerge from this then the necessity for the request disappears.

R. Then you will have a different demand, that you want to receive from him the quality of bestowal. You don't want to run away from the ego, but rather you want to get closer to the Creator. There are two forces: one that rejects and one that attracts, draws closer.

S. That is my question: how can I develop within me the request to come closer to Him and not just to run away from there, from my egoism that brings me? How do I develop the right request to get closer?

R. With the friends, with the friends, so that you will be envious of them and you will support them and they will do the same towards you.

S. To be envious of what exactly?

R. Of their progress: what else can you be envious of?

32. S. (49:22) How did Abraham receive an answer to his question, how did he understand that he received an answer to the revelation of the prophets? Did his friends tell him or did he give some sign in his life, in his practice? How did it happen?

R. This we will feel on ourselves when we receive a response from the Creator; same with all of us as it was for Abraham. Ask and you will receive and then you will understand.

33. S. (50:05) How should we understand light versus darkness?

R. We have to advance in what used to be darkness to us becomes light and vice versa. What used to be some light becomes darkness. That is how we transform from plus to minus and minus to plus and this is how we advance from right to left to right to left.

S. How can we understand light and darkness as one, when we want to reach a state when there's no difference for us between light and darkness?

R. We will get to a point when there's no difference between light and darkness, only in our final correction. About this it is written, ‘And the darkness will shine as light,’ the darkness shines as light. Because indeed, there is no darkness, there is only light. Because everything is the appearance of the light towards our vessels, either they are in the will to receive or they are in the will to bestow, but in truth, it is all light.

34. S. (51:55) In turning to the Creator when we come out of Egypt, you said that the person should aim himself to the Creator through the pillar of fire: what is this pillar of fire?

R. That we will have to learn, it’s not for now. I did not speak about it.

35. S. (52:24) It looks like the force of Abraham that directs us to the land of Israel is not enough. What force do we need extra here, to be able to, let's say, to come to this wanting to bestow as in addition to the force of Abraham. Because it looks like Abraham is not enough, this force. So there's another force that is needed? How can we bring ourselves, let's say, to this extra force that we need?

R. I don't know what to tell you, the force of Abraham is a force that includes Isaac and Jacob and it leads us to Mount Sinai, that is where the force of Moses begins. We will go through all of that. First we have to exit Egypt.

S. So what does it mean for our work then we talked about Abraham bringing us to the land of Israel and something is missing there then. So how do we interpret this force there then and how to work with it, of wanting to bestow through the connection, but there's something missing here. How do we come to this one thing, to want to bestow? We want to come to Israel, let's say, we want to be this force of Abraham but there's something missing, let's say, to come to this force of bestowal for each other.

R. I do not have an answer for this. We will have to learn, gradually, the order of the exodus from Egypt and then you will understand.

36. S. (55:40) Can I accept the bad as good until the end of correction?

R. I did not understand.

S. Can I accept the bad as the good until we reach the end of correction in faith above reason?

R. What does it mean to accept the bad as good?

S. Well, here it says that we cannot accept the bad as good until the end of correction.

R. I do not know what you heard there but the bad is bad and the good is good. And I have to always raise myself in my feeling, in my observations so that the evil becomes even worse for me and the good even better.

37. S. (56:56) We have to be in exile in our ego until the ego itself will want to come out from the rule of the ego?

R. Of course.

S. So the egoism itself has to reach it?

R. Yes.

S. So we have to reach it through unity?

R. Yes, of course.

Reading #11 (57:42) “A person must begin the war so as to have the vessels and the need for salvation..”

38. R. (58:50) You see how here, in a single quote, he gives you the entire process here.

Reading #11 (59:03) again.

39. S. (01:03:58) It says in excerpt 11 that in the help we need is that specifically the Creator will help him and through the help he obtains inheritance of the land. Why does it say that we have to get the help specifically from the Creator, is there any other kind of help?

R. No, only with respect to the person that he has to be clear that he is receiving it from the Creator.

40. S. (01:04:43) He wrote in the excerpt that we just read that a person must begin a war. What does it mean to begin a war, what is he against, how does he fight, with what?

R. There are always two forces in the person if we're talking about the spiritual path. One pulls him sideways, left or right, back and forth up, up and down, in all directions. He has to exactly detect with what force does he advanced towards the purpose of life, the purpose of creation. That’s his work.

S. What does it mean to enter the war, to begin the war?

R. To enter the war, meaning to respond correctly to the force working on him.

41. S. (01:05:43) He says that a person enters a war that he knows that he cannot win. Why enter a war that is impossible to win?

R. What are you talking about? I do not know.

S. Excerpt eleven. He says…

R. Rav reads excerpt 11

The person must begin the war to have Kelim and the need for salvation and the help of the Creator, as it was said if the Creator did not help him, he would not overcome it. It follows that he did not give man the ability, the Creator did not give man the ability to win the war on purpose, since through the war one obtains the Kelim and need for the abundance. Hence, we need both to enter the war, so as to obtain Kelim and the help that is required is that specifically the Creator will help him, since through the help he obtains the inheritance of the land, the rule over the desire that the Creator promised to Abraham. Meaning, that by that he arrives. what is the question?

S. Seemingly a person has to bring himself into a war that, he says here, that he will not, the person will not be able to win this war?

R. A person himself of course he cannot.

S. Is it a war of the person and the Creator can whatever He brings to the person, how is the person even involved here?

R. The person determines who does he wants to win. Man himself, to begin with, has no forces, not good force, not bad force, he is zero. The creator gives him forces and by these forces as they appear in a person, the person begins to feel what is the good force, what is the bad force, where is he drawn and why and this is his/her whole work.

S. It seems like a war that is endless, everyday there is a war, ten days, ten years, twenty years. Your whole life, everyday the person is this war.

R. Why do you imagine it to be endless?

S. What is the end of the war? What is considered success in a war that is worth entering into?

R. That I am in despair of one force and I respect the other force that I follow based on my goal which is to adhere to the Creator, so I choose this single force, this force that ultimately leads me to the adhesion with the Creator.

S. Then another desire awakens another will to receive?

R. That is for me to rise from one degree to the next but there is an end to those degrees.

S. What is the end?

R. The end is that I adhere to the Creator, to the force to bestowal.

42. S. (01:09:41) About the same matter I understand the beginning the war is not just once but every time there's a state where I have to decide that I'm beginning of War

R. Of course each and every day we start a new war.

S. How do I know that I'm truly fighting? Is there a way to know that I'm fighting in the right direction or just fighting myself?

R. Based on the books and the friends that is it. From the books you learn and towards your friends you try to actually realize it. Then you see how you advance.

S. It says that the person should begin a war not just fight but he has to initiate what is this initiative this beginning?

R. Man chooses what is important to him, what is he fighting for and what and how does he advance. He knows that he has to descend to Egypt because that is where progress leads until the final correction and then when he comes out of each he learns also how to advance and there he goes step by step. That is our work to go through all those states to accumulate to collect to pick the fruit from each and every state and organize it in our basket in our fruit basket with which we come to the final correction.

43. S. (01:11:38) Rabash writes in one of his articles, that the war is for the glory of his name?

R. That is what the Creator arranged as a process of corrections for us. The extent that He guides us through these corrections is all really towards him towards the Creator that we will come to adhesion with him and as it says and 'you will be knowing god good and evil'.

S. This phrase for the glory of his sounds for not for us but for his glory

R. But we clothe them upon us we accept them upon us, it's so it says you should be as God.

S. When we work and search for the goal for which we fight how exactly do we hear extinguish if we are fighting for ourselves, what exactly is here for ourselves and what is for the Creator should be

R. It's not for the Creator. What you need to do for the Creator when we say for the sake of the Creator we are also talking about ourselves.

S. What does it mean?

R. Because for the Creator you can't really do anything, what will you give him. It is only for us to create new garments, new clothing over our will to receive, because thanks to having a will to receive created by the Creator as it says I created the evil inclination we can close it with corrections, the desire to bestow. Then the whole will to bestow, the will to receive with its will to receive, to bestow it consumes, restriction, screen, and the reflected light, by that we come to the form of the Creator and we adhere to the Creator.

44. S. (01:13:57) I wanted to ask maybe that if I begin the war with the evil inclination maybe it is beneficial that I am in jail?

R. Of course, use everything that you have and then we will see further what to do there will be many more scrutiny of what we have because specifically need you we scrutinize all of our egoistic nature and then in the Exodus, we scrutinize all of our altruistic nature in such a way in the correct usage of these two types of nature we can scrutinize the final correction.

S. Yes, that is clear but there is a problem where we get a certain ascent in a spiritual work and then it calms me down a little bit and then you want to invest your power in corporality now, rather than in the Ten and it seems like in these situations it could be beneficial to remember, to be reminded that one way or another I am still in prison.

R. Yes, but that passes by gradually and the person begins to be satisfied not by the minimum but but something intermediate and he is no longer drawn to it.

S. It turns out that this is exactly the question of Abraham where he said he said they will receive a little bit and they will be satisfied with it. That is truly our daily problem to work with these sparks, if I understand correctly.

R. Everything will pass and you will need to experience it all, to receive it, to accept it, to agree with it everything will be. Most important is to work more intensively.

45. S. (01:17:07) Sorry about my pessimism, I too do not see the end of the war and if I start the war I immediately lose.

R. Guys, what are you even saying? Do you think I didn't experience all this? Are you studying a new world here? LikeI do not know it? Of course it is not simple. What do you have in this world? You live at such a time that you are given an opportunity to do everything to see everything,so work in the only task that is possible that is open to a real person. Try to come out of the nature that you were created in. Do you want to feel the new galaxies, a new world, new degrees, new levels? Do you want to understand how everything is built and how it is structured? Do you want any of that? Go ahead. Do you want to feel what is outside of time and space, go ahead. We have nothing else more to add. to offer to you other than that. Kabbalah offers you everything that there is to offer, and if you are in such periods of time that you are not capable of doing a thing and also do not want to do anything, and you even you might want to to just die. This is given on purpose so that you will feel the difference between the states, that is good.

S. The question is what does it really mean to expect redemption?

R. To expect redemption, means that a person still hopes that the Creator will redeem him from the ego and will raise him higher.

46. S. (01:19:50) Does the worst start from my desire to escape the spirit of the will to receive

R. Yes.

47. S. (01:20:09) The goal defines the means, our war with nature is not really the goal ,love of friends is not really the goal, Exodus from Egypt is not the goal. The goal is to reach adhesion with the Creator, how can a person correctly define the goal so as no to deviate on even the hair's breadth from it.

R. Only in the group only in the group if you hold on to one another then you will be inside in the center aim towards the goal. Otherwise nothing will be possible and I'm not even saying if you are close to the center of the group or not if you're aimed towards the center or not. I do not want to treat you to that.

48. S. (01:2:29) After such a pessimistic question from the wind from the man there is a desire for Workshop because the Creator gives us such gifts. He is opening up everything and suddenly the war inside it is what it's for us, so let's rejoice for the opportunity. We have a desire to move to the state of joy.

R. So be joyful but not just during the lesson. We need to scrutinize more questions.

49. S. (01:22:03) We are two youngTens in the group, how to implement the strategy for the war in the Ten correctly in order to reach the promised land?

R. Only to be together in the center we are building to depict the Creator

50. S. (01:22:54) I heard that the main thing is still to increase the intensity of the work, on the other hand it's taking years so how to increase the intensity over the years?

R. It does not take years, it takes exactly as much as you need in order to understand what you want and to agree with it.

S. How to increase the intensity?

R. You only need to decide between each other what your mutual goal is, but truly and how and and directed towards it every day.

51. S. (01:23:54) We always say each shall help its friend, is that the meaning of the help of the Creator ? or does the Creator help in addition to that?

R. This is not help of the Creator, this is help of the group and the Creator gives an addition.

S. How is this addition expressed?

R. Within the connection between you this brings an additional force of His . This is how it works.

52. S. (01:25:06) The Creator always wins the war, what does it mean for us to the winner, we know that it is a fixed game.

R. He will not win the war until we want them to win the war, until we will force him to win the war. The Creator is governed by us.

Reading #12 (01:36:27) “And a certain man found him and behold he was wandering in the field..”

53. S. (01:29:56) In truth I'm in a state of fear. We have a few friends who left our group. I'm worried about my group. I do not know how to express my love to them. How should I show them that I love them,I do not know, what to do?

R. It is written that one enters the room and one comes out to the light or to study. We do not think that from 1,000 will come us and that only one will reach the goal, the purpose of creation, but still we need to understand that the path is one that exhausts a man's forces and it is a path that is not easy at all, it is for an entire lifetime. From the moment a person has been given an awakening that is considered that you were born spiritually. you were awakened. Until the moment that you die you need to constantly be evolving spiritually and the wisdom of Kabbalah gives you this opportunity. I have nothing else to say, and through the extent that a person makes an effort, to that extent one advances in their lives . We have a lot of times when we are detached and come back again and get inspired and or fall asleep. There are all kinds of such states there's nothing we can do. That is how the Creator arranges our advancement for us there's nothing to do. The correction of the Kli acquire requires from experience such states.

54. S. (01:35:32) A question that someone is asking, who is seeking his friend, where are they hurting the flock.

R. How are they advancing towards the goal? All of that, I want to find, is considered a field that is blessed by the Creator that from that field they come to the goal.

S. In other words, where are their friends who are great on the right path only he is not?

R. He sees eventually that he is alone, that they are moving forward together and he is alone.

55. S. (01:33:48) Yesterday we had this question in the Ten and he is writing here. They drove off meaning they do not want to connect with you and this caused the people of Israel to go into exile and departed. The question is how can a person know with certainty that he entered Egypt?

R. If he is detached from his friends first of all, if from the detachment from the friends he feels that he does not have such connection to the Creator, then this state in fact shows him that he is coming out of Egypt. Well not coming out, but that he is drawn to Egypt.

S. Meaning so a person comes to learn couple you understand a few years that in order to be in contact with the Creator he feels that he needs to have connection with the friends he feels that he's disconnected from the friends and he starts to work on the connection is that mean that he is in Egypt

R. After he discovers that he must have connections with the friends after that he begins to see himself in a more correct way. Is he even in the path or not because the words the purpose of connection he has to be connected with everyone this tight connection and although now he's not prepared for it, he already understands it and he agrees to it somehow and he's moving towards it somehow.

S. What is the meaning that he entered Egypt for the tight connection? There are many levels of yearning for the tight connection. The question is what does it mean that he entered Egypt?

R. From entering into Egypt he feels that they are all in some type of contact of connection and alongside with that they are experiencing some mutual resistance that there is a Pharaoh among you as well, that he is pushing them apart and that is how they continue. They continue because there is no choice. they must be together, they must connect among each other.

S. I always recall from Passovers a strong impression that from everything that we read, what are we already in Egypt? This question come up

R. To be in Egypt means to see that we are not connected and that we really want to be connected. Then we are in Egypt before the Exodus, before escaping Egypt.

S. Are those discernments sharp in the person? How can a person say that I'm now in Egypt, he feels Pharaoh and he says oh, this is the Pharaoh that I've been reading about for years?

R. He feels that there's a force that does not allow him to connect to the friends that encompasses his heart with such a coating that he cannot connect heart to heart with friends.

S. Are these discernments clear or strong?

R. Well more or less it depends where he is.

S. The question is, how much can you really ask about? After how long of studying the wisdom of Kabbalah can a person begin to scrutinize that he is not in Egypt? Can it be after many years that he is scrutinizing that he is not in Egypt or after many years he is discovering that has been in Egypt a long time. It is not clear?

R. At the end of the day he has to reach a state where he feels that he is in Egypt. He wants to connect with the friends but he's not capable of doing so. His heart is completely blocked and then he cries out and he is asking with all of his might to the Creator to give him connection to the friends because only one between the connections of the friends he has is the Exodus. Because they're between their hearts that is where the evil inclination is. The Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, does not allow them to connect their hearts.

S. In this yearning that he revealed towards the connection with the friend, is this something that did not exist he discovered something permanent, some new intensity?

R. This is for each and one on and off it doesn't really matter, but the main thing is that he knows that he has to be connected with his heart to the others. In the time being there is distance between him and the hearts of the friends and he cannot skip this gap, he cannot. That is called exile.

56. S. (01:40:26) I wanted to ask in the excerpt he says that in order to come out of and be redeemed from Egypt they take up on themselves to enter a group that he wan

S. To enter a group is that he is in a Ten, that is all in all, they have a goal to reach mutual connection so that they will be in one heart.

S. I want to turn this group, that I call a group into something internal that I work with?

R. That is why you're all entering the same Ten, That you all want to detach from the ego, from the forces that are pushing us away from one another and to delve into connection between them so that there will be only one thing, that love will dwell them.

S. What does it mean that I entered the group?

R. That I give them the warmth of my heart in order to connect with them.

S. How can it be in the group every moment of life doesn't matter where I'm whatever happens. I want to be constantly in this group.

R. I'm constantly thinking of how to come closer to them in my heart, so that they will enter my heart and that I will enter everyone else's heart.

S. Specifically, by entering the group that has love of friends then you can exit Egypt, so what is it about love of friends that is taking us out of Egypt?

R. That we connect our hearts, our desires, our intentions, our goals in such a way that we become one. Just like before the shattering of Adam HaRishon.

S. We want to come out of Egypt, what for? We want to come out of Egypt or we want to come out of Egypt in order to enter with the connection with the Creator?

R. I do not think there's any difference, to come out of Egypt ,out of the egoistic desire, that I think only of myself and taking my own state into account or or that we all want to connect all together to the Creator. that is the same state,

S. What is that picture that we need to have before us, that we are drawn to?

R. This image that we want to be drawn too, is to be as one man with one heart.

57. S. (01:43:45) He says that by entering a group that wants to be in love with friends, annul. I want to be able to mount the trail that goes to the house of the Creator. I don't know if this is love of friends, I like the friends. We do zooms, we meet to study in the morning, but to be in love with friends?. I don't want to harm anyone, but I don't feel that there is such love for friends. It's not like I love my kids, my wife (god bless her).

R. So leave the group.

S. I don't understand what we're talking about. What is the love of friends that everyone's talking about? what is it, how do we describe it? What is this love of friends?

R. Love of friends is considered that I want to live in the heart of the friends, in the connection between us, to feel them together with me that we are entirely connected for eternity and there is nothing that separates us, not in our minds nor in our hearts. That is considered that I want to be in such a state called love of friends

S. I also wanted to and you wanted everyone wants to be in love with friends how can we come to love a friends inside the group

R. Just like it's explained to us in the books, we need to reach the love of friends.

S. How do they explain to us how to get to the love of friends?

R. To be one man and one heart.

S. That's a question. How to do it?

R. Love thy friend as thyself. When you check to what extent you love yourself and in the very same way you are checking if you love the friends.

S. What's the essence of the action towards the Ten?

R. The attitude towards the friends is like it is towards yourself. You love yourself because that's how you were created. Now you need to have that same attitude to treat all of your friends.

S. I can't love him as I love myself it's clear I can't do it.

R. Nothing is clear, it's written that's how it needs to be.

S. What's the essence of the action? What do I need to do ifo this to become a routine, so I can love the friends in the Ten?

R. That you care for him, just like you care for yourself.

S. You know that it's impossible.

R. I don't know what I'm telling you about what I have written.

S. What else is missing?

R. Nothing other than that.

S. To annul for example to humiliate myself before them?

R. Nothing is lacking other than that.

58. S. (01:47:18) He's saying that we need to take upon ourselves to enter a group, it sounds like a vow from now on, something I didn't want to do. I take it upon myself, what is this commitment, this Covenant, a person needs to take upon himself to do?

R. A person takes upon himself to enter the group and to be connected with them as much as possible more and more from day to day, because in such a way as it's guaranteed to him he can later on reach a connection with the Creator, that's all.

59. S. (01:48:42) Tell us how it can be that a person wanders the field and he cannot feel the connection of the friends? I understand that a field is something that's revealed in the connection between us?

R. A person is in the group and still doesn't feel contact with the members of the group, that is considered that he has gotten lost in the field.

S. What does it mean that he is meeting a person he doesn't meet his brothers but he meets someone who is that person relative to the group?

R. Let's say it's someone in the group it doesn't matter, it's as if he's searching for who to connect to, we will still scrutinize that.

60. S. (01:50:09) Is the state of Egypt something we've also experienced in every degree or is that that we go out once and come out once?

R. We experience once and we come out once but it is a very wide and long extended state that includes many details in it.

61. S. (01:50:40) You said today that the Creator is managed by us and he's not going to win the war of evil inclination before we ourselves desire it. The question is why after so many years in the study of the wisdom of Kabbalah we still don't have a desire to help the Creator and truly triumph over the evil inclination?

R. Because we are not making enough efforts, that is all.

62. S. (01:51:35) We learned how important it is the role of women for the Exodus of Egypt Today is international women's day and we scrutinize what is the message that women in the world need to know today relative to last year, because it seems like we are in a new state. I'm not asking just about our Kli but the world women in the world in general?

R. It is written that things to righteous women the people of Israel came out of Egypt. Iin other words, if we draw from the will to receive to the will to bestow our women in Bnei Baruch we will later on also help the men come out of Egypt. That we need to have concern and to care. I'm not saying that in these states first women and then men, but we need to make sure that we will have women with us and that we will go from in order to receive to an order to bestow together. That the women will be with us too, and that's why we care for it and after 20 years of how we were structured, we changed our structure, because the time has come, history has already changing. We want the women to be with us this entire process and we will succeed together. So all the best and have a happy women's day and rise to the peak of reality. Thank you for being with us.

S. What's the message for women in the world?

R. That they will gradually understand what it means to correct the world. What it means to care for the future of the world for children, for families, and they will join us and they will build a new world. The world depends on women for the time being we don't see it but slowly, slowly, it's inverting and soon we will see that the world in fact does depend on the women.

63. S. (01:54:55) On that I would like to congratulate our women friends for the holiday, all the women that help us out of Egypt and I want to ask in that place that says they have departed hence ,I always had a question, why did they depart? Why wasn't it me that left?

R. Here it's not speaking specifically of someone but that there was a group and that it went to the brothers of Joseph.

64. S. (01:55:47) How many times I've read this article and for the first time I've heard the expression' I seek my brother's', meaning in the friends I need to seek the brothers and when I begin to feel them as brothers they're all sons of the same father and also have a lot of brothers to them.

R. Yes, yes.

65. S. (01:56:23) You said that we need to get to know the galaxies and come out from time and space. What can I give the world about such revelations?

R. Development of the soul.

S. What does that mean to get to the galaxies and rise above time and space?

R. You will see that you can grasp the entire reality, all of it.

66. S. (01:57:27) It seems like every victory begets another desire for victory, why does the Creator not give us a taste of victory over our nature? Why should we always be fighting?

R. Scrutinize that with Him. Ask questions and He will answer.

S. Is it a sign of progress if the excerpts that we're reading in the lesson are coming alive in the Ten as actual states?

R. You'll see that too it will all start being revealed.

67. S. (01:58:26) From our study it seems like the Creator is looking not for a person in the field but for the group in Egypt, is there like some beginning of the chemistry between the Creator and person? From your experience, from your biography can you tell us how to relate to it?

R. I have nothing to say from my own biography.

S. From your work?

R. Also from my work you need to know everything for yourselves that each one has to write it in their hearts that is what is written.

68. S. (01:59:20) How important is the preparation on coming out in order to be together on the exit?

R. In the Exodus we have to be together. In the Exodus we have to be connected to one another to hold on to each other and then we can come out.

S. The importance of the preparation for us to be together to feel it all of us?

R. Yes.
