89. What is the inheritance that ZA inherits from AVI? It is the inheritance of his father and mother, their HB. The two crowns that were hidden within them and which they bequeathed to that son are two parts of the Daat, which unites AVI, since ZA inherits all three parts HBD from AVI. From the side of his father, one crown called Hesed was concealed, and from the side of the mother, one crown called Gevura. They are all crowned in the Rosh [head] of ZA, who holds them, since they became his HBD.
When these AVI shine on him with their inheritance of HB and the two crowns of Daat, they are all called the “head Tefillin,” which is four portions. The inheritance, HB, are the portions “Sanctify” and “When [the Lord your God] brings you.” The two crowns of Daat are “Hear” and “If you obey.” The son takes everything and inherits everything and it spreads in him from HBD in the Rosh to the whole body. The son, ZA, gives to the daughter, Malchut, and she is nourished from him. Nevertheless, it sounds from here that the son inherits his father and mother and not the daughter, and the daughter is nourished from him, as it is written in Daniel about the tree that implies ZA, and there is food for all in it.
ZON are unfit for Mochin in and of themselves, since they are from Malchut of the quality of judgment, which are unfit to receive light. However, thanks to the ascent of Malchut of the quality of judgment to Bina, where she was sweetened, ZON become fit to receive Mochin and vessels from Bina. In this, ZON differ from all the Partzufim, since in all the Partzufim, the vessels are from themselves, and they only receive the lights from the upper one, while ZON must receive the vessels, too, from the upper one, and without it, ZON are unfit for Mochin.
Because of this ascent of Malchut to Bina, the names HB have changed to AVI, and ZON, too, are named “children” because of it, since their vessels, too, are extended from AVI. The Mochin that ZA receives from AVI is in an ascent for MAN and the unification of AVI. By this, since the three lines of AVI come out from one, one, ZA, is rewarded with the three of them. Therefore, it is regarded as inheritance. Like a son who inherits his father’s assets although he did not labor for them, ZA receives HBD of AVI due to his ascent to MAN and his determining, although they are not extended to him by the cascading of degrees.
However, the daughter, Malchut, does not inherit her part, the crown of the left of Daat, called Gevura, directly from AVI, but rather through her husband ZA, since she is the second degree to ZA, and a degree receives only from its adjacent upper degree.
The two crowns of AVI are not really regarded as inheritance because in fact, they are the phases of ZA himself, who rose for MAN to AVI, united their two lines, and became their Daat. Thus, it is regarded as the work of ZA and not as inheritance.
90. These father and mother are incorporated and connected, and Abba is more concealed than Ima. Everything is gripped from holy Atik, from MS, and is hanging from the honorable Mazal. They do not receive directly from holy Atik, but through the Dikna, called Mazla. These father and mother establish the house, as it is written, “By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established, and by knowledge, the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches,” which are HBD of ZA.
91. Rabbi Shimon said, “I did not reveal everything, and all those things have been hidden in my heart thus far, and I wanted to hide them for the next world, since in the next world, we are asked a question with wisdom because they want wisdom from us.” For this reason, he hid things for the next world. “But now I see that it is the will of the Creator to reveal them so I will enter His palaces without shame.
