Question: As long as we studied this material up to the World of Nekudim I could somehow grasp what you were talking about in these Preface to the Wisdom of Kabbalah lessons. Since we started studying the World of Atzilut and so on, I can’t understand anything.

Because you don’t want to correct yourself, that’s why you don’t feel what is ‘the breaking’ and what is ‘the correction.’ You’re certain that you’re not broken.

Question (cont'd): What do I do?

Be among the friends, then you will feel that you are broken, that you can’t bond with them. That is called ‘the shattering’, recognizing the shattering. We’re not demanded to be corrected, we’re demanded to recognize our evil. From that, you'll already want to correct; then you’ll understand. This is the difference between one who studies in his mind and one who studies in his emotion, in his desire. In our studies we broke this shell (Klipa); we’re studying in order to correct ourselves. Once a person connects this emotion… every time you have new confusion, disturbances and problems, it erases what you are able to grasp for one moment, immediately it gets deleted, until you actually correct it, until you feel the breaking. What is happening here, and where is it? In what place? A place means a desire. Everything depends on the emotion.
