Baal HaSulam. The Wisdom of Kabbalah and Philosophy (The Origin of the Soul)

R. The corporeal world was given to us so we will begin from some perception of reality, even though it is false, and completely unrelated to spirituality, but still in it we can exist. In our sense of will to receive and according to our will to receive we determine all those things good, bad and to what extent and in what way, what form, according to size, to scale up or down. At the same time we have the other developments, the altruistic one in which we develop in our will to bestow as much as we can and absorb it, establish it, control with it, control the initial desire. In other words here we come from zero to the first desire which is the will to receive, we develop in the will to receive, build in the will to receive all kinds of discernments. Then out of this we come to a desire to bestow, and then we build in the relation between the will to receive and bestow and how we elevate ourselves from the will to receive which has already become our nature, to the desire to bestow which we want to be our nature instead of the will to receive. We cannot have one without the other, so the other, the will to bestow lives, exists and is accepted in us on top of our will to receive, our natural one.
S. Where is the conclusion that the spiritual world is the true world, the spiritual truth that we have to come to, and the corporeal world is an illusion?
R. Those who attain the spiritual world say about it that this is the world of truth. Truth means that the upper force is present in it and not the lower force; this is why it is called this way, the world of truth.
S. You are really living it, there is life in that corporeal world?
R. If you're in the control of the will to bestow and you're in the control of the will to bestow meaning you control, that your power of bestowal rides above your forces of reception, it is considered that you are in the upper world as a created being that is in the world at the level where there is power of the Creator and you are like a guest there.
S. So you do live there, there is a type of life outside of corporeal?
R. In the faith above reason you live in the spiritual force.
S. The spiritual world you cannot see it, you can feel it, the question is if you live there?
R. What you feel now you call it life, if you relate to life the way Marx and Engels talked about it, what did they write? They wrote that life is a form of existence, is a protein form of existence, which is what they said about it, the protein form of existence.

This whole machine was planned to compute some orbit around Earth for this tiny satellite and many people worked on it, it was something huge. I was just a beginner at the University, it was in St Petersburg, so what can I tell you what they did then? Today you have many, many more times than that is in every cell phone. When my grandson sits at the computer at home, he does things many times more sophisticated than that machine which had maybe 300 or 400 square meters of cabinets with equipment. We are going into a new world; we have to get used to it. It is not a material but force that governs, we have to rise above matter to the world of forces, to the world of forces and the next stage will be how we will share our thoughts. Because the problem is in our thoughts, this realization, these bombs, and everything, that is not today's that is yesterday's. R. I do not understand these examples, I do not want to accept them. 10. S. (30:38) What is Baal HaSulam trying to explain in the article through the example that there are elements of nature that we do not perceive in our senses, what is he trying to convey to us?
R. He tries to convey to us that even though there are things that we do not sense in our senses, they still exist, and we have to come closer to them and take them into consideration.
11. S. (31:10) Scientists are relying on precise instruments to study material forces. If the instrument we need are the ten, what are the gauges we are to pay attention to in the ten?
R. In the ten we have to establish ourselves that we are all equal, first. In this equality we need to add here as much as we can to come close to one another, to stick ourselves together and reach the state of one man with one heart. That heart is made of all our hearts, that we can only be connected in our intentions to be connected, and not in the essence that each of us is a part, a separated part from Adam HaRishon, from a different part of Adam HaRishon. When we connect, we do not really connect like parts that we connect by soldering or we cannot do that, but our connection is connection above the forces of separation that remain, even get stronger and are revealed more and more. We above these forces of separation connect ourselves in forces of unity and connection that eventually what is revealed is all the bad desires between us, of all the parts of Adam HaRishon, first Adam, all of them and they are revealed in the horrible, wild way all the connections the negative connections. Above that we built in our forces, what we get from the Creator obviously, we get the positive connection, a real connection and the positive and negative remain. They bring that same Adam HaRishon just as it was before the shattering and gets an intensity 620 times more, that is called revealing the Creator in the vessel in a complete way.
12. S. (34:13) In this excerpt Baal HaSulam tells us about the limitations of perception of reality, so how can we expand these boundaries so there will be no difference between force and matter in our perception and does perception of the world change when the person begins to perceive the world as forces?
R. No, the corporeal world is the corporeal world, it does not change, there is nothing that will change. It is the will to receive in its earthly form, what does change is what man discovers, he discovers spirituality so the perception of reality changes in him. The perception is not a corporeal perception that he starts seeing the essence of the connection between the shattered parts of Adam HaRishon.
13. S. (35:24) If you could see what awaits you, you would not hurry there, what did you mean?
R. That they are waiting for him in the corrected form and not that he comes now as the worker of the union. Clear? Until the final stage from Adam HaRishon to the first person to the final state, 6,000 years have to go by we are already in 5,783 so soon.

R. They bring themselves to the correction and we prepare ourselves for the correction and there will be time when we will be able to connect to them and they will receive the method of correction through us and this way we all can uplift to the degree of Bina. Quickly in our days.
17. S. (54:19) You told us now about the theory of the breaking of man, how will the correction take place? R. We are already in the process of correction. We have until the end of correction a bit more than one hundred years.
