Baal HaSulam - Peace in the World Reader ( -   )

56. R. This is not a simple article rather lengthy but quite fundamental. We should learn it now because again these things that are taking place in the world are such that obligate us to learn these things, there is plenty of material which we can't swallow all at once. We have to arrange it somehow, so that it seems like this is becoming necessary.

S. How do we approach reading these articles right now?

R. Simply read and talk about it along the way, I said this became necessary, essential for the time, this is what I study is all about, to see what the Creator wants from us and how much we can implement and realize what he wants.

Reader “Scrutinize and inquiries...”(1:29 - 2:01)

57. R. It is clear to us from the Torah in general there are many fundamentals called Chesed, Tzedek Shalom Emet, the world is standing on these four pillars, mercy truth justice and peace how can they connect that and use them, acquire them and realize them in order to reach peace, wholeness. This is what we want to know, so let us read it.

Reader “Mercy and truth met, justice and peace kissed....”(2:45 - 3:07)

58. R. King David wrote this in songs, three thousand years ago, what is it talking about? Let us see.

Reader “Everything is evaluated not by its appearance...”(3:16 - 3:57)

59. R. It is clear because if we are in the world that the Creator created then it is likely that everything he created is necessary and essential and we should not destroy anything in the world, even things that seem harmful, it may be harmful to you but what gives you permission to destroy something that the Creator did, rather you need to check how do you relate to each and everything in the world. Each phenomena, each instance is necessary, if you didn't see it it doesn't mean that you can make judgments here and do whatever you want. You have the force in above you, a force that decides that this is how things should be. It has a goal and a purpose and a plan and you can't just get in there according to your head and you're thinking and begin to arrange the world according to how you think I should be arranged. That is what we are learning, that is what we're going to learn from this article.

60. S. (5:08) When we see corruption in the world, let's say I see a flaw in the friends, I need to understand something in me that is the corruption and it is good that it has appeared so I can correct it?

R. Yes, that is it.

61. S. (5:36) Is it possible...

R. I'm asking let's listen patiently to what Baal HaSulam is saying and let us not jump with the questions.

Reader “Because observation of the work of creation....”(6:00 - 6:35)

62. R. Each flaws according to their own flaws meaning if you think there are bad things in the world it is recommended for you to learn and grow wiser and then decide, this is our entire purpose to identify with the Creator and that is the meaning of correcting ourselves and then we will not say anything bad in the world. Even in the worst parts of reality we will not see anything bad even the Klipot, all kinds of things that we can only think about we become inverted in such a way that we won't be able to see any harm in all of creation.

Reader “It is common knowledge that the Creator didn't....”(7:21 -  8:45)

63. R. We cannot say that there is anything bad in the world because we did not develop enough, we are not wise enough to see all of creation, to see anything as good or bad, rather we simply need to be patient and develop. The wise ones who have reached the end, say to us that if you will come to the complete understanding to see all of reality then you will see that it is whole and there is nothing bad about it, rather everything is actually good and all of the things that appear to you as bad are because you don't understand the good that has to come from it when you develop, not that creation has to develop. We see creation, we see the world as developing but it is a reflection of our development, relative to all of the world which is the upper light who is in absolute rest. If I see anything bad outside or in me it is because I'm still incomplete in my stages of development, corrupted and I need to develop. So it is only I who is developing, the world's application of me is a projection of me. I see nothing except for myself who is in the process of discovering myself more and more and I'm coming to a state where everything that is good according to the good that I will become at some point. The world is constant, nothing is changing in it.

S. If I take an unripe fruit I look at it I can see if it's unripe, how can a person look into himself to identify?

R. When you see anything that is less than perfect or whole according to your understanding you have to say that it is you that did not reach correction in order to see it's wholeness.

S. So ultimately I need to see everything is good?

R. Eventually you will see everything is good.

S. Based on what?

R. On the basis of your correction as each one judges his own flaws, listen to the words.

S. What is the gap between who I am and who I'm talking to?

R. Yourself, you are looking at yourself when you look at the world you see yourself it is your perception of reality.

S. So how to see it? What do I need to change?

R. Change yourself only.

S. By what?

R. The upper light outside of this world and you wanted to come and correct you and you see yourself, your reflection in the world will appear as changing to the extent that you are accepting the world as more whole, complete, perfect, in the meantime you have to agree with what you see as being imperfect because it only points to your inner corruptions.

S. Is it mandatory to have a relation to the whole world?

R. The whole world because you are included in the entire world, in everything. If there is someone in the world who is doing something wrong it is a projection of your internality.

64. S. (13:10) According to what you're saying, a negative quality that I discover in me that doesn't let me live some kind of a prison does it also show me potential to turn into a positive quality?

R. Of course typically the most negative things, the most evil people that will to the most righteous people, the best qualities, even you.

Reader “The Weakness of World Reformers” (14:01 -  16:25)

65. R. You don't need to run, he is telling us everything, everything will become good. It all depends on our degree of development, our correction, each judges according to his flaws, correct yourself and you'll see the world is corrected. It is far from us but at least we understand that it all depends upon a person and our perception of reality teaches us he has to think, each one has to think how he is correcting the world. Because by correctly relating to the world as his internality he is correcting himself.

66. S. (17:15) Baal HaSulam writes, any world reformers want to eradicate any bad in the human species. If the Creator had not stood against them they would have cleansed man leaving what is only good and useful on the face of it sounds like a good thing?

R. I don't hear a question.

S. It says the Creator...

R. The Creator is against world reformers because instead of trying to correct themselves they're trying to correct the world, that's what all people trying to do, instead of correcting themselves they're trying to correct the world this is why the world is becoming more corrupt. To show that this is not the path of correction, the path of correction is for a person to correct himself. This is why what we are saying the only thing we need to do in the world is education, education is nothing more than that.

67. S. (18:25) Is my correction to yearn for the Torah?

R. Your correction is to love everyone.

68. S. (18:44) In the beginning of the article it says the answers will come from the earth what does this mean?

R. The will to receive when it is corrected you will get the truth we will learn about it, it is later on towards the end of the article he explains it.

69. S. (19:14) Do not the world reformers act as fools who are shown a job half done.... why would the Creator show such people, the job half done, if it is a principle we do not show people this?

R. This is an order to teach them the correct path that also fits into the correction as part of the correction.

Reader “Rewarded I will Hasten it, Not Rewarded, In It's Time (20:01 -  21:39)

70. R. Through the historic process that humanity is undergoing without knowing what it's doing, things change and gradually, but there is another alternative to change ourselves and change the world, do not remain under the steamroller of development. The blows from nature, the diseases of pandemics.

Reader “Then there is the authority of the Earth...”(22:04 - 22:58)

71. R. Of course we can advance naturally in due time or reach the goal in hastening, by accelerating time and we will get there as the Creator doesn't need anything from us as he will obligate us to agree and to want, to do anything. But we as a small part of humanity can learn and bring ourselves to the goal quickly and easily, comfortably with understanding and attainment like humans who are marching forward not like small animals who are scurrying this way or that way, you get a blow here and you run the other way. That is the path called Achishenah, the governance of the land.

Reader “Our sages said about the complete...”(24:03 - 24:18)

72. R. The Creator is above the two options Beito and Achishenah, these two ways of managing out.

Reader “They wish to it say that if Israel are rewarded and take....”(24:27 - 28:24)

73. R. He is telling us the following, providence, the Creator's plan will come true, it will come to us like it or not and we will have to reach the end of correction and he who is cast away will not be cast away and all will reach back to its roots. There are several ways of doing it, these ways are what we are speaking about here because in the end of correction we will all be corrected, everything will be fine and adhesion with the Creator but how do you yearn by yourself to the end of correction, the connection with the Creator to adhere to him, to hasten yourself towards him or not. This is the crux of the matter, therefore you have the path of Torah and the path of suffering and this is also speaking, a lot of people who don't have a desire for it but those who do and have received the yearning they have the Reshimot, and wish to reach the destination that they hear about and understand there is a goal of that he said that the Creator is waiting do they want to pull themselves toward that correction by themselves. This is what it's talking about, you, each one of you has this special attitude that the Creator is calling him and he wants you do we, such people through mutual help that eats shall help his friend, can we reach a state where we accelerate the corrections and reach the Creator and pull the rest of the world behind us, all of them created beings and by that bring the world to the good place which is guaranteed for everyone, for all of the souls. But we are doing a favor to the Creator's seemingly, we wish to show Him that we love Him, that we accept the purpose of His creation, that He didn't create us for nothing, we are drawn to Him.

74. S. (30:51) What is the relationship between time and the Creator?

R. I hope I can answer the question as you say, time and the Creator it is a very difficult question, truly, because the Creator doesn't have any time there is no time in spirituality, there is only a number of actions, we learned about in TES what is time. The number of actions that we need to carry out from now to the end of correction, there are six thousand years, what are six thousand years? It is 6000 actions that we have to perform to reach the end of correction where end of correction is the adhesion of all created beings with the Creator. That is it, so it all depends on us and if not we accelerate this development and the Creator also, if we don't accelerate it, He accelerates it by applying pressure to us and we run, it will not be at our expense but His and if we run by ourselves, where will we take the energy to run forward. We can't do it if we don't have the need for it, in short there are many questions here but all in all there are two paths as we learned the path of Torah in the path of suffering, if rewarded Achishenah and not rewarded, Beito.

 75. S. (33:21) Baal HaSulam writes in the article by the greatness of our deeds and our mindfulness do we hasten the end. How do we measure these attributes and also increase it during each day?

R. You can measure those qualities when you enter spiritual degrees, then the spiritual degree gives you the correct scale or measurement of your state, who are you, where are you, what are you, for the time being we haven't even climbed to the first degree and therefore we lack this scale.

76. S. (34:20) Does the end of correction have a physical form?

R. No, our world also lacks a physical form, what we feel is what appears to us, it seems to us that we exist in a physical world, that there is nothing physical about it, even when I see before me that I'm sitting by a table and a chair and everything, the blocks and the stones, there is nothing physical about it. Everything is simply depicted in this way in my vessels of perception. This is why it is hard for me to say physical or not physical, but rather in the end of correction after you have corrected all of your vessels you will feel the true perception of reality. We're other than the Creator there is nothing. You exist only to the extent that you feel Him.

77. S. (35:39) How does providence relate to the suffering of others?

R. Providence is providence, there is nothing to ask, of course the Creator wants to bring everyone closer and is pulling everyone according to the Reshimot in each one.

78. S. (36:08) You said before that the Creator doesn't need our cooperation and then you said everything depends upon us, how do you understand that?

R. That is how it is there is nothing else besides Him and if I'm not for myself who is? That is how we need to act, both ways. He is telling us in the beginning of the action if I am not for myself than who is and at the end of the action we come back home from the market, I have to say even if I would remain on the couch the whole day, I would have received the same thing.

S. About these two paths I need to feel that the Creator that it is important for Him.

R. The Creator it's important that you carry out all of the actions and that you would say even if you hadn't done anything the Creator would have taken care of you and you would have gotten everything nevertheless.

79. S. (37:15) If I don't treat the world as my internality like you said that I write and disseminate the whole time but I don't relate to them, even criticize or hate them do I correct something like that in my dissemination or I'm another world reformer?

R. Here you also have two options, on one hand I criticize the world and say everything is wrong and these are like this and those are like that, on the other hand I have to say differently if I were corrected how would I see and relate to them? Since what I see in reality is a will to receive that the Creator created and he is governing, managing and changing it all the time mixing it up and this is what I see that the Creator does everything, is there something outside of it? If you're saying there's something outside of the action of the Creator than you are wicked. How can it be? You don't accept the singularity of the Creator and everything? That is why despite what we feel, we learn differently and we have to reach a stage where both connect together but when they do it's not that we remain as we are right now, we've come to a state where we change, where we begin to see a different reality. The Creator all of reality there's no one evil, there's no cruel person in the King's palace, everything is for the good we are all happy and no one even suffered. I imagine the suffering to myself but appeared outside of me because I was not connected to them. But the moment that I connected to everyone I discovered them as all corrected, all parts of my soul.

80. S. (39:38) If I am hastening the times does this mean I am as if disconnecting from time and being in faith above reason?

R. Of course we begin to feel each time as time in a different way, humanity felt time in such a way that nothing would change over 10 or 20 or a thousand years, today you see such changes in your inner perception of reality, that you are declaring the world is running. Yet it's not that the world is running, it is that your vessels change so quickly, becoming so diverse, millions of vessels and they are constantly changing in order to bring us to corrections.

81. R. (41:09) We spoke today about the middle line that we will learn still about how to bring it from above to us, to control us otherwise there will be no justice or peace in this world, peace Shalom, Shlemut, wholeness, a complementary relationship between these two lines I just want to show you how the Creator is demonstrating to us and the world how you cannot correct the world, but only when we connect to him. So, we will continue with the article Peace In The World, a very good article I recommend for you to read it. We are entering the weekend, read it and we will see each other in the next lesson. If you have any questions that I didn't answer, prepare them and write them down and you'll get an answer for them. The important thing is to see with each passing day we will discover more phenomena that are the results of the governance of the Creator that is coming closer to us.
