The Law of Love and The System of Adam HaRishon - Selected Excerpts from the Sources, #27
57. R. What can we say about this, we see how the Kabbalists explain about the structure of the entire reality where the Creator created a system in which all of its parts are called the system of Adam when this systems purpose is to reach resemblance to the Creator this is why it is called Adam from the word Adomeh, resembling in order to give the system and opportunity, and ability to independently exist and to reach this resemblance to the Creator on its own and then they will resemble the Creator in everything. The ability, the feeling, the Creator shattered this system and that same number of pieces are now under the force of rejection, lack of connection between them. For us it is called hating each other, relating to each other egotistically, then our work is love covers all crimes where specifically we need to try to connect between us in a way the connection will be upon the separation call my love upon hatred, coming closer upon getting further away. Light upon darkness and then here we need to go against our desire to build the right connection between us upon the fact that to begin with the Creator placed us in states and emotions, understandings that we are far from each other or opposite to each other, that we hate each other and we push each other away.
The closer we're getting to each other or we feel more rejection, more opposition and so along with that we need to understand that these things are not created in vain they come to us from the upper force organizing us in such a way that only in this way as the created being opposite of the Creator we reach resemblance to the Creator and that is our work. That is why the slogan of our whole work is love covers all transgressions, this is why combining all of these verses together what we did here we called it the law of love in the system of Adam HaRishon. If this was a system that was entirely connected to each other naturally coming from the Creator and He can't make it in any other way because that is His nature, being one this is why He created the system as one. Then He broke it and divided it into pieces and these pieces are all divided far from each other but because we come and collect these pieces which is us, ourselves, that we collect and are connecting them together, by that we reach an understanding a necessity of why they have to be connected and why with all of the opposition between them they have to complement each other. By that we actually understand the Creator, He created it, He created these pieces, by that we actually understand His thought, by that we understand His thought, it's called the thought of creation otherwise we wouldn't attain it, we wouldn't discover ourselves. We were separated and then connected, why and what for and what from, who is He?
This is something that we wouldn't reveal, this is why we need to be thankful to this creation as much as now it is disconnection and shattering between us out of that we're looking for the way to complement each other like the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle or Lego all of these broken pieces you are returning into one system. By what? How do we see these parts the way they fit each other, what do we have the way we fit each other, is it the character or the color, by what signs do we start discovering? We start discovering that in each and every part when we start connecting it to the other pieces, in them we start feeling the Creator, the essence of the Creator, the essence of creation how much He wants our connection. He does this connection in a very sophisticated way, complicated increasingly more and all of our development is to the extent that we discover this upper force, the Creator when we demand that He will help us connect between us in the right way to the one system. Every time for us disconnection is really like a revelation, how can that be it is impossible but suddenly it does happen and it does work specifically when these opposite things complement each other.

58. R. From this I think we have one result when each one has to be, to use himself as the glue between the friends there is no “I” but only what may connect between them. When I am really like a fluid, like glue that I enter between the friends wanting to connect them together that is my work, my role, what each one should think. Then you can be certain that we will reach a state where we are all connected and we don't discover ourselves there but rather we discover the force that connects us which is the Creator and as I cancel myself wanting to connect the friends together I become closer to the Creator. And the friend is also this way and another one and it turns out that no one remains the way that he is but that each one stays in what we are, that is how we become egoistic parts when each one of us is truly the fluid and the glue that fills between us that is the Creator.
59. S. (10:05) What is the material called love made of in spirituality and corporeality?
R. It is the force of the Creator, it is the force of the Creator, it is the light.
60. S. (10:25) You said that contradicting things complete each other, this is how you started the lesson, and then they tell me that from love of friends I can reach love of the Creator, what is the connection between all of this?
R. I don't know.
S. You know, you don't want to say.
R. That's how it is, just like us and our life opposite things complement each other, you have nothing more opposite than a male and female for instance in our world but in the connection between us they give birth to offspring specifically because they are the complete opposites.
S. What is the connection between friends and the Creator
R. The connection between the friends even though we're all opposites that's the way the Creator created them and they have no chance to connect between them, no chance, that is what humanity is yearning to discover maybe there is a chance to be connected in some good way and each and every day we discover how opposite we are. Not able to reach any connection and there won't be connection until we ruin this whole earth.
S. We see that people are only praying to the Creator and they don't understand that they have to connect to friends for that, people are saying Creator in the synagogues or anywhere they are praying directly to the Creator how do you change this awareness that the friends are the connection to the Creator?
R. If we do the right actions then by that we will force all the people in the world including your friends all over Israel to think correctly. It all depends on how we will carry out the method of correction when we will be the Rosh of the Partzuf and they will be the Guf of the Partzuf.
S. Everybody wants it, Baal HaSulam wants it but it's not really working for us and convincing people that the connection between us will bring us to the Creator it's very difficult to explain to people?
R. You can complain until the Messiah comes it won't help and he also won't come until we carry out the actions correctly and the Creator is helping us according to the extent that we are negligent still, then he helps us giving us small blows so we can activate our mind, our emotions to reach some understanding along the way, how to build the system of Adam the right way.
S. What button do we put on to speed this up that people will finally understand and we will be in the end of correction?
R. I will tell you, your heart, that is all. If I have revealed this secret to you then you can be certain that you will be successful during the day, everything is before you.
61. S. (14:18) I make efforts to be that liquid that will connect between the friends, that glue and it holds them in and I can't really hold on to it, what do you do?
R. You have to dilute, you need a diluter that will make you more like a fluid, it won't let you become solid so that you can flow within all of the friends that you will be the glue that connects everyone embracing everyone, truly so. Try it.
62. S. (15:08) What are the signs that I should feel the desire of the Creator in the connection between us?
R. According to everything that lies between you, you have to discover that it is the Creator of all the good things and all the bad things it doesn't matter, it is all the Creator is established in between you so that everything it doesn't matter good or bad you will embrace it together and reach love.
63. S. (15:55) Do kabbalists call love the actions we're doing or the feeling in the heart?
R. Love is called the revelation of the Creator between opposite things when the revelation of this goodness of love covers the crimes to such an extent that all of these crimes increase, and hence the force of love 600 and 20 times.
S. So the actions aren't the thing, the feeling in the heart has to come?
R. Yes, that is the result of the actions.
S. That will be called love when we have the right intention?
R. In the intention you discover this state in which you attain the connection, the unity, unity is love and is according to the action, the components and the result of it, of this unity, is called love. Again it says as a result of connection between all opposite pieces, completely opposite, totally and along with that they are connected and unite each other, complementing both negatively and positively then it reaches such a result.
64. S. (17:48) Does the result come from, the spiritual result come from feeling and mind together?
R. Not specifically but in the end yes, the end of every degree is that the mind and feeling are revealed together.

65. WSQ: How do we renew every day our love during the day not just once a day, how do we renew a connection of love between us every day throughout the day? That we are constantly concerned about that which is the foundation of building the spiritual vessel, the foundation of revealing the Creator between us, please. How are we concerned about renewing the love between us?

66. S. In our ten many times we have problems with bad relations and hatred and through annulment we reach a state that is good and warm environment, we all feel that maybe we are bestowing but that sometimes it is opposite.
R. You are not connected to the Creator, you don't have a goal, you need the same two qualities of love and hate, hate and love have to be together in order to come close to the Creator, not one or the other, for you it's either hate then you have love, no. There has to be hate, yes, then you attain love and you don't forget about the hate, you hold on to the hate next to the love, together. Then in such a way you can advance because you have the two of them from the Creator and you have to relate the love and the hate to the Creator that there is None Else Besides Him, that He is awakening these feelings in you and awakening these feelings in order for you to turn to Him like the source. Then you will reveal Him, that is how you have to do it, try and then we will speak onward.
67. S. (31:23) What are the boundaries of these tactics that we have to use in this game of love of friends?
R. No limitations just put love in front of hate and hate in front of love not separating them but they both have to exist one in front of the other.
S. Yesterday we learned that the law of love does not apply between great and small, true love must feel equal as Baal HaSulam says so in this excerpt it says I have to love the friends and not the friends having to love me. So, the question is how do you reconcile what Baal HaSulam says that two lovers must feel equal and here he says that you must love the friends and not the friends love you?
R. You need to love the friends because by this you reach love of the Creator along with that you have to make sure in society that there will be examples of love from each one to everyone because by this each one awakens the friends to general mutual love. In the love that you discover in the ten you discover the Creator, the Shekina, try and you will see that you will get answers from all of this on all of your questions.
S. Where is the mutuality and the love here?
R. Examples, each one gives examples to the other.
68. S. (33:29) Where can I find the love that will match the hate?
R. You need to ask that they will give it to you from above, from the Creator, the Creator awakens the hate and by this He waits until you ask for love and then you will find the connection with Him.
69. S. (34:14) It's written that we should pray in order to forget, Rabash always says that we should remember or awaken the old love that was between us so when we awaken the old love is this what gives life to the group?
R. Lust or love?
S. Love.
R. So if I awaken love?
S. Is this what gives life?
R. Yes, of course what is love, love is the feeling of life, what is separation or hatred? That's the feeling of death.
70. S. (35:28) Rabash gives us an example of a friend who slanders meaning he goes against the rules of Rabash, what do you mean slanders....?
R. There's no such thing if he slanders he's not my friend, I need to at that moment or two that measure to erase him from the group from my friends, you cannot slander on the group, on the teachers, Baal HaSulam, Rabash, other Kabbalists, or the world group, there's no such thing of slandering. What do you mean one who slanders one another, he's speaking about the Creator, he is getting that feeling from the Creator, but he is getting this feeling in order to rise above it and he is using it in an opposite way.
S. Here in this example he specifically writes, even if the friend slanders him if this person wants to acquire love of friends who needs correction to love the other?
R. That is something else, if I think a friend is slandering on me and behaving in a certain way toward me that shouldn't prevent me from showing love towards him under the condition that he doesn't go over the fundamental rules of the ten.
S. Slandering is breaking the fundamental rules of the ten?
R. Maybe it's not slandering but it is the truth.
S. It's not philosophy, is what Rabash writes, he says the friends slanders and that he truly slanders...
R. Try it and you will gain double.
S. So where is the limit here if the friend clearly breaks the rules of Rabash I should still justify him where's the limit?
R. Maybe he's saying that because before everybody by this it could be that he is really ruining our relationships in society and then we all have to discuss it. I can speak about that with everyone.
S. So it is not clear what the practice here is, a friend slanders and I should rise above reason and love him or I should say this person is drilling a hole in the boat?
R. Both, both, I'm telling you it's not something you do in one action you have to see how all together you raise your group to a higher degree, how you heal this state and how you correct your state with a friend and how you raise yourselves to a higher degree of bestowal and all of these things how do you build that? It can also be the state that you were in, you can say that it's not the friend doing but that it is the Creator doing. Speak about that with your friends about the states, look at what they are saying.
S. So in order to not be confused when there is such a state I should discuss it with the friends and hear what they are saying and this is how we take
R. That's for sure because it's not about me and him it's for the whole group.
71. S. (39:47) What example can you give us in a way that we will understand and remember that without hatred you cannot reach love, so that we won't try to hide ourselves or to erase hatred?
R. Each and every spiritual degree begins like all of creation from the darkness that is why we need to get used to starting every state from the darkness, distance, hatred, rejection, that these things are correct. Not like a child that I get up and want to make fun and everybody will laugh, no I get up to work every time and in every moment of my life and that is why every moment if I discover myself in a dark state, a greater will to receive, greater corruptions I don't fall from that, that is my work. That is how we exist, the main thing is that in all of these things to feel that you are in society and everyone is around you and are prepared to help you and hug you, to hold you not to fall, that they also need the same help from you. Just as you give them you will get from them.
72. S. (42:05) There is a state of hatred in the ten and the state is coming from the Creator so what does it mean to ask for love, correction?
R. That is called, that I want, on all the hatred that is revealed, I want to feel what the love could be that covers the hatred, that is it. I don't even want to get in there because there's hatred because of this or something else, it's not important to me, what is important is to discover a state that can come out of this which quality of love and connection can I attain from this hatred in order to feel myself advancing towards spirituality. That is the best attitude that I can have.
