*Item 5 

5. *Thus, by raising this above MAN, which are the aforementioned Orot, the Behinat HaVaYaH de AB de Yodin mated, namely the collective Behinat Mochin de AK with Behinat Taamim de SAG, which are AHP.

This is because these Taamim de SAG did not have any breaking in them, and hence mated along with the Behinat AB de AK. This does not refer to the departing Orot from the Hevel AHP, only to the Behina of their actual self and Pnimiut.

43. R. We are learning together that, just like you create a puzzle, the Creator created reality in a perfect way, then cut it into tiny pieces and He is giving us this puzzle to put it back together so we would then understand the mind and the feeling that exist in this picture. Also, His intention and His attitude toward us, toward that reality that He created. Hence, all of creation starts from the state of shattering, that is what we discover as well when we study the Torah. “It was evening and it was morning, one day.” And now we are getting into Part 8 in the study TES and it is speaking about the correction, meaning previously in the preceding parts, there was an explanation about how the Creator created all the parts of the system, Parts 1 2 3 4 and 5, Part 6 is how He shattered the system, this picture he cut it into pieces, tiny puzzle pieces and disperse them in different ways, and now we are learning how He is building a system called the World of Atzilut so that the system will start correcting the broken pieces, put them back together.  When we participate in all of these actions, by that we begin to understand, to feel, to obtain all of creation which is above time and space and motion without any limitation and we, the tiny egoists, have to start integrating in that huge creation by assembling our vessels and start to expand our perception, what can you do?  It is like little kids who grow up and they understand nothing at first, we play with them, we develop them until they grow up and can advance by themselves. So, we are with you now in Item 5. Our correction is in praying and asking, there is no force within us that can correct us, we cannot correct ourselves, rather we need to receive the force from above and it will do it. Also, when this force comes, we don't know how it corrects us, but our question, our problem, our work is about asking. In order to ask correctly we talked about it with you, we need to be connected in a ten, and then from the ten if we turn to the Upper Force to the Creator, then the Creator comes to us, He brings us His power and by that He corrects us and we begin to feel the changes in us. Different measures of changes, we feel darkness where we are disconnected from one another, that is how we feel darkness.  Not by feeling good or bad individually, rather good and bad are relative to connection, to the goal, to creation. The Creator shattered the vessel, and He wants us to ask to correct and to mend the vessel and our request is above our ego.  This is why our work is constantly asking for connection, asking for the power that will connect us and correct us. That is what it's all about, we see what is happening in our world, we are discovering our shattered state more and more, even people of this world are discovering it and we have no way of reaching a better state.  On the contrary, all of humanity will keep deteriorating more and more and from that we will begin to search more and more for ways to improve our states, the more our intellect grows, our feelings grow, we discover that we cannot benefit our lives because our lives are also dependent upon the connection between us and that is the thing that we do not want. Consequently, humans will need to feel more trouble before they accept the method of correction and think and discover that this is the only thing that we need. So the request for connection of these puzzle pieces is called raising MAN, and of course we talk about love your friend as yourself and all of those pretty things, but who is paying attention to that, and spirituality we are discovering the actions that we have to do in order to implement it realistically. So it is written in Item 5 Rav Reads , item 5, part 8: Thus by raising the above MAN, meaning a request to receive the light that will correct us which are the aforementioned Orot, Lights, the Reshimot that we have from the shattering we have such a shattering  where we used to be in this system of Adam HaRishon where we moved apart and we broke and from that we need to advance . So we awaken our states today and we wish to awaken more advanced states, then the discernment of YHVH of Av of Yudin mated and the light that used to shine in us, we want to awaken it namely the collective Bechinot, Mochin AK the general light that needs to fill the soul with the Bechinat, Taamin of SAG which is the force of bestowal with the light that expands through the vessels of reception with a force that expands the vessels of bestowal which are AHP, part of the Kli this is because these Taamim of SAG did not have any breaking in them, thus they mated along with the discernment AB of AK, which does not refer to the departing lights which came out of the Hevel, breath, of the AHP for Partzuf SAG only the Bechinat, discernment, of their actual self and their internality. These are very high things, let's read it again and below.

44. R. However, we need to understand that it speaks of the same things as we used to understand before, it speaks about the correction of the vessels, how after they have prepared for us those puzzle pieces, that we are going to put them back together. Let us try to understand both and if it is too difficult, it's not too bad, we are learning in order to draw the Reforming Light. If the light will come, we will begin to understand that's from within by ourselves, not as we have learned in the University, but like the way kids are learning, they are learning from life, they play and play and from the game they grow  wiser. This is the correct form of learning, he learns using the form of the Reforming Light, also a small child.

5. Mochin de AK with Behinat Taamim de Ruach.

Though all the Nekudim, even Rosh ha Aleph in them, extend from Nekudot de SAG, for which the MAN should have risen only up to the Nekudot in Rosh de SAG, in fact, they rose to Nekudot de SAG. However, because with this ascent, the Zivug de AB SAG occurred, during which the He’arat AB that reached SAG lowered the Hey Tata'a from the Eynaim de SAG to Peh de SAG, this connected the AHP that came out of Rosh de SAG. They return to Behinat Rosh, and the Nekudot connect with the Taamim de SAG into a single degree.

In that state, the Nekudot de SAG do not merit a name any longer, as they are annulled in the Upper Behina in them, being the Taamim. Hence, the ascent of MAN is also considered to have risen to the Taamim, for the Nekudot do not bear a name, as they are nullified before them, as the Rav has written (Part 6 item 6).

Know, that from here comes the rule that every ascent of MAN is from the Tachton to the Ali Elyon, and the Ali Elyon corrects them from the Elyon. This is because ZON raise the MAN their Elyon, which are YESHSUT, to the Ali Elyon, which are AVI. AVI correct them for YESHSUT, and so it is in all the degrees.

It is so because any ascent of MAN induces the lowering of the Hey Tata'a from the Nikvey Eynaim down, by which it acquires the GAR. Hence, when ZON raise the MAN de YESHSUT, they induce the lowering of the Hey Tata'a from the Eynaim de AVI downward. In that state YESHSUT connect with AVI into a single degree and YESHSUT acquires its GAR, meaning Behinat AVI. You see that the MAN that ZON raised for YESHSUT rose to Behinot AVI, meaning to the Hey Tata'a in the Eynaim de AVI, which in turn, lowered it, thus correcting the Mochin de YESHSUT.

Thus, the Tachton raised the MAN for its Elyon, which are AVI. AVI mated together on the MAN and lowered the Hey Tata'a from their Eynaim downward, and thus connected YESHSUT to their own degree, and YESHSUT acquired its GAR. Now you can understand the Rav’s comparison (Part 6 item 6) of AB SAG to AVI and YESHSUT there.

This matter began in the first ascent of MAN in the Olamot, being the ascent of MAN of the Inner NHY de AK to the Taamim de Rosh SAG in the Rav’s words above (Part 6 item 6), which lowered the Hey Tata'a from Eynaim to Peh de SAG.

However, since here the Hey Tata'a rose to Keter, which is the Metzach, hence, the Hey Tata'a descended from Metzach to Peh. It is written, “By raising this above MAN, which are the aforementioned Orot, the Behinat HaVaYaH de AB de Yodin mated, namely the collective Behinat Mochin de AK with Behinat Taamim de SAG, which are AHP.” This is because Rosh SAG is called Awzen, Hotem, Peh, because the Upper Behina in it is the Ohr of the Awzen, meaning Bina.

It clothes Partzuf AB de AK from the Chazeh upward to Peh de AB. Hence, HGT de AB de AK are considered Behinat Mochin to SAG, and also as the general Mochin that extend from AK. this is because the first Partzuf de AK is higher than the Olamot and they only shine through HGT de AB, which are the Mochin de SAG de AK. After the He’arat Mochin from these AB extends to Rosh SAG, meaning to the Taamim, the Hey Tata'a descends from Metzach to Peh.

46. R. You will find Item155 from the Introduction to TES, as follows we can learn these things like we do in the University, make some drawings and see how the light goes up and down and the deficiency comes from below up and make a whole wisdom out of it.  Or we can remain without the drawings, remain in the dark and ask the Creator for these things to appear to us. We are standing here and we are demanding those things to be revealed, what does it mean to be revealed, in such a way that we will begin to feel them, to understand them from within. Not intellectually, but emotionally because those are all feelings, it is all in the will to receive that is taking place. There are two approaches here, like in the University a dry study and the attitude by which we need to imagine them inside of us, in our desires, in our impression, in our feelings, in our excitement and that is what we want to happen. We first need to want to reveal it inside of us, how is this happening. Then if we need to add a certain drawing to it like what the Kabbalists do, there aren't that many of these drawings in Kabbalah as we used to do it. That is how we will need to relate to our lessons, we want it to be revealed to us.

Item 155 Introduction to the Study of TES (22:26 - 23:29)

Therefore we must ask why did the Kabbalist obligate every person to study the wisdom of Kabbalah, indeed there is a great thing about it which should be publicized, there is a wonderful and valuable remedy to those who engage in the wisdom of Kabbalah. Although they do not understand what they are learning, through the yearning and the great desire to understand what they are learning, they awaken upon themselves the light that surrounds their souls. This means that every person from Israel is guaranteed to finally attained all of the wonderful attainments with which the Creator contemplated in the thought of creation to delight every creature.

R. Meaning if he has the Reshimot to be Yashar Kel, it is a certainty that he has to reach the awareness and understanding and the revelation of all of those things that are written about the wisdom of Kabbalah that the Kabbalists have discovered.

And those that have not been awarded in this life will be granted in the next life, until one is awarded completing his thought which he had planned for him. As it is written in the Zohar, and while one has not attained perfection, the lights that are destined to reach him are considered Surrounding Lights, this means that they stand ready for him but are waiting for him to purify his vessels of reception then these lights will clothe the able vessels.

R. Meaning during the study we need to try to draw those lights that he is talking about, to draw those forces that would correct us, so that they would take care of us and simply give us these states, hence it is not the wise who learns, it is not through the intellect.  But only by the correction of our vessels otherwise they say they will die and not with wisdom, the Light of Chochmah will not enter because we have not prepared for it the Light of Chassidim which is the clothing for the Light of Chochmah.

48. S. (25:14) Should we need, on our degree to yearn to understand what we are studying right now or just to ask to integrate in the Upper System?

R. We want to be integrated in the system so it will influence us, that it will take care of us like a mother who cares for her baby and from this tendency to be drawn to it, generally speaking, we prepare ourselves to be the body like the body of the baby for the Light to take care of us and we will reach a state where it will be revealed, where we wanted to be revealed and from that revelation we will begin to understand. But first it has to appear in our feelings and when we work with our feelings, then we will begin to understand how it works, this is practical Kabbalah. From your actions we will know you and only in this way. Whereas if we now start to learn mechanically how this goes up and this goes down, what clothes upon what, we will not perform any correct spiritual action, rather we will remain in the mechanics of things. Just like we learned about all the other wisdoms, it is possible in our world, but it won't do anything for us and spirituality.

S. It is a second time I see that Baal HaSulam writes that the lower one raises the MAN for the Upper One, what does it mean that the lower one is raising for the Upper One?

R. When I raise MAN  to my Upper One, I am doing a favor to the Upper One, I want it to work, because in spirituality when you are giving the Upper One the opportunity to work you are doing him a great favor, you are delighting Him, and “there will be work for the Creator” as it says. That is exactly how it should be, raising MAN to the Upper One means that you are giving Him our request as it seems that we are asking, but for the Upper One it is actually sheer joy. In spirituality it is all opposite, and we have an opportunity to work, when I reveal the deficiency from the lower one and presents it, I'm happy because I can feel him, I have everything that he needs and if he doesn't want it's what will you do? It is as Baal HaSulam writes, the son is born but he can't eat anything but dry bread, you remember that story, so you need to understand that in the spiritual world, in the spiritual field, if you are asking something of someone you are doing him a favor. Because now he can bestow. Specifically, from the lower one to the Upper One, the Upper One is in such a state where if you don't ask of him he can't advance by himself, only from the deficiencies of the lower one.

49. S. (29:14) Is it is our desire and yearning for the Upper One's desire that will bring us these Nekudot, this point, that was described in the text about?

R. Yes, the Upper One creates the deficiency in us, it gives birth to us and creates a deficiency in us, we need to scrutinize what do we want out of this deficiency in order to remain in place where we are with our ego, or to rise above our ego and use our deficiency in order to reach a spiritual deficiency. Each time to prefer a spiritual deficiency, meaning deficiency for bestowal above a corporeal deficiency, a deficiency for reception. If we prefer it like that then the gap between these two desires, the desire to receive and the desire to bestow, we raise it up towards MAN, we are asking for the power, what kind of power? Give us the power to overcome our will to receive, give us the power to activate our will to bestow, that is why we call it the Reshimot of Hitlabshut, clothing, and Reshimot of Aviut, this way when we awaken this Ohr, where the Upper One gives us light and this light has also the light of Chassidim and the light of Chochmah and it begins to care for us this lights, and brings us the recognition of evil and the recognition of good and we begin to work.

50. S. (31:08) Why does the previous Partzuf  become Taamim, flavors, of the next Partzuf of growing?

R. Because it fills him and it gives birth to him, it gives him all of the lights, this is called Partzuf of Taamim, Taamim Nekudot Tagin Otiot. Taamim are the lights that expand from Peh downward inside the Guf, body, of the Partzuf.

51. S. R. R. Yes, our request to correct, to connect, to perform an act of bestowal is called MAN.

53. S. (35:39) Of course, in my mind I won't understand how the World of Atzilut works, but on the level that we are on now, how can we build something suitable or similar to Atzilut that I will understand that something is really happening and being correcting?

R. We are in this system of Atzilut, like it or not we are there in the system of Atzilut, of all the worlds, but especially in this part called Atzilut, are all of our request, are received by the Upper One, like a baby who doesn't know and is crying and the grown-ups understand that he needs something, he doesn't turn to them specifically yes or no, it doesn't matter. That is why we need to understand that in Atzilut this is where we are, all of our desire is nevertheless felt in the Upper One, the question is, is this desire the correct desire, is it corrected with the others, is it asking for connection for us to advance towards bestowal, all the way to bestow, the contentment of the Creator and do we somehow feel this process, or hold it inside of us because then we will advance correctly. But if we are not thinking about it then the whole system nevertheless feels our deficiencies, but it corrects us, twists and turns us until we begin to ask correctly, because it all depends on our request, it's not because the Upper One doesn't understand it but he needs our request so that he can bring the filling into our request. Before we demand correctly, we will not be able to receive the right fulfillment, rather we will be connected to the Upper One but in such a way that it changes the desire for us forcefully. Then we go through different states and we waste our time. The important thing for us is to detect what we have to ask for. That is it, in each and every state, now the state that we are in or later when we're in spirituality, it is all the same except what is correct to ask. This is called “make your desires as His.”

54. S. (38:44) A friend from the ten is asking what is the meaning in practice to purify the vessels of reception?

R. It means to put the intention to bestow on the will to receive, then all of the vessels that were course, rude, wanted to grab for themselves now will start working differently with the help of the Light that Reforms, these vessels now from all of their Aviut will start bestowing, they will as if send the Upper Light back, they will perform the Tzimtzum, the restriction, Masach, Ohr Hozer, then the vessel of reception will become a vessel of bestowing. That is called correcting the vessels.

55. S. (39:45) The MAN the lower one raises for the Uppers Upper is for the Upper, for Yeshsut?

R. MAN always rises from below upward to the Upper One and Upper One can’t give it to the lower one, so he rises it to the Upper Upper One. that's how it works, and he receives from the Upper-Upper One and passes it back to the lower one and he to the lower one where this whole chain started from.

S. It is not because the lower one feels like there is a deficiency in the Upper One?

R.The lower one can't see any deficiency in the Upper One otherwise it wouldn't ask, the lower one sees the Upper One as being able to do everything, but the Upper One can't, because well there are corrections here, there are all kinds of corrections and the role of the Upper One is to be in connection with the lower one. The role of the Upper One is to get a deficiency from the lower one but to go and to bring the Light of Chochmah, the big light and corrections to the lower one the Upper One can't he has to raise that to its Upper-Upper One. It is similar to what we see in like a family, a actual family, that there is a baby there is a mother he demands from the mother, the mother doesn't have what to give so she turns to the father, the father brings money and provisions, piece of an animal that he found in the woods, doesn't matter whatever way but this is how it takes place. The baby demands from the mother, the mother demands from the father the father brings it to the mother and their mother gives it to the baby this is the chain that has to take place.

S. What is Yeshsut in the ten?

R. Yeshut is Binah, Binah is divided into two; ZAT and GAR, ZAT de Binah is the place of the womb, the place where the baby is being taken care, and Zeir Anpin and ZON and GAR de Binah is already Chochmah, this is where all the forces are, that you can receive and pass on to the lower ones and fill the lower ones.

56. S. (42:49) As long as a person is not merited the future lights will come as Surrounding Lights, meaning that they are ready to work for him, how do we accelerate this process?

R. By requesting more precise, more focused, more scrutinized, such that reach the goal, that we want the Upper One to understand us more even though He does, but that our request has to be as such.  That I scrutinize exactly what I am lacking, as much as I can, according to that I get a clearer answer from the Upper One. This is what helps me to advance, I need to make certain that my question, my plea will come from the ten, from the connection and from the connection between us we reached the connection with the Upper One that is revealed between us. By this we increase and increase the connection that Israel, the Light and the Creator are One, that is it. The fact that we learn from TES all of these details and its infinite details, he could have written here another hundred books, it wouldn't cover everything. 57. S. (45:57) I heard you say that the entire system feels our deficiencies and is pressuring us to develop the right demand, it is all about asking correctly, how do we be more sensitive to the pressure of the system so as not to waste time and to get focused?

59. S. (48:07) How can the Kli use the Taamim that you received from the Upper One, the previous degree that helps him in each new degree to raise a correct MAN?

R. Because every time I'm included of my previous vessels and upon that a deeper and deeper vessel is revealed, meaning more egoistic, so then I raise my MAN to a  higher degree, as much as I feel problems and troubles, that I want to correct myself towards the group and the Creator and by this I raised a stronger MAN and get more forces to perform my deficiency.

60. S. (49:12) Why when we correct the vessels, a person's perspective on reality opens up?

R. Because in the vessels we can see it all, just like now each one is in his own vessel and beyond this he can't understand, he can't do anything and this is how it is, all of his advancement is through his own vessel.

S. Is it correct to say that there is a connection being formed between the Upper and the lower and the process of raising MAN.

R. Of course, how could it be, even without a connection you have to MAN, we have to believe that there's a connection between the lower and the Upper and that we can raise MAN to the Upper.

61. S. (50:10) What is the difference between the request in the demand of the lower one? 

R. It is all things that are psychological maybe.

62. S. (50:29) You said to clarify and focus the request so each time we're raising MAN higher, so now that we're studying TES, is there an importance to this part of building our request?

R. Yes, when we learn TES we understand that we're not in it and then our request is more aimed towards the Creator, I want to understand it, I want to feel it, I want to be in this world, I want to be in the World of Atzilut and that is where the vessels and the lights and the connections and everything is in the World of Atzilut, I want to be there. I have a desire for it, to discover the Creator, the Creator is revealed in the Olam Atzilut, Atzilut comes from the word Atzlo, it is “at His”, it is the Creator's, this is how we reveal an above Atzilut we can't attain because all of the degrees that we learn about, they are all in the Olam Atzilut. From Ein Sof to the Olam Atzilut they are all to Atzilut all of the degrees below, all of the Worlds; Atzilut, Beriah, Yetzira, Assiyah, they are also in the Olam Atzilut and then it turns out that the Olam Atzilut includes everything.

S. During the day I am going to ask for my friends for my ten, meaning from the connection we need to imagine ourselves, that we want to be specifically in the World of Atzilut or generally think of connection?

R. No, we don't have to say that we want to be in Atzilut because we can't depict these things, better to see ourselves or depict it to ourselves that we want a correction that we are connected together and with the Creator also, this is called Israel, the Light and the Creator are One. That is what we need to see as our goal.

63. S. (53:03) In the group does a lower one need to desire correction to draw a response from above or is it enough to desire the fulfillment?

R. It doesn't matter which deficiency, if he has a deficiency he can already start talking to him, according to the deficiency we weigh a person, whether he has a big deficiency is a big great person, not that he has reached the degree of Adam that is similar to the Creator but there is a good start, there is something to begin with.  That is why each one that is greater than his friend his inclination, his desire is bigger than him also. According to the magnitude of his deficiency according to that he will grow, and we can awaken these deficiencies through others like we learn in this world.  I go into some society and I can learn from that society, I can take the deficiencies from them, they want this and that, I look at them and I want it also, we know that. Like advertising, I didn't want anything but yesterday on TV, I saw something and now I want it. That is how we need to get inspired from our environment, from our society, this is why each one has to be obligated, each one be obligated to awaken the right desires in the friends, I have to show them, Rabash writes it, that I have to show everyone how great I am because that awakens envy them and they will want to be great, and even though I'm not great, I follow them. WSQ:* (59:40) Do I feel myself in a state that I for me I feel darkness and light are almost the same thing, that I can work and advance to the goal also in the darkness and also in the light and from both of them like two legs, that I am advancing on the left and on the right, do I feel that I am already in a state where these two states are identical, even though they are different but I use them completely identical. Not that the dark disconnects me from reality or the light but that I tried to go in such a way that the darkness will shine as light. Am I advancing to that state, am I coming close to that state that for me the darkness is the place of work, because I am connected to the group, I am in a constant connection with the lessons, the Yeshivat Haverim, do I process the darkness exactly like the light and I don't feel anything less in it? Please speak about it and try to find what else you are lacking so that your whole light will be as one light as they say, “will be evening and morning will be one day.”

66. S. (1:04:53) What to do if we feel the exact opposite of what you described, to feel the darkness as light?

R. More darkness and the light, that is good also, but it is good that you are advancing, but you're only advancing on one line. You still can't organize for yourself such an environment that will support you in a way that in the darkness you will behave like the light, that you will use it in a beneficial way.

S. That is exactly the problem, the ten that is clear is the only means that should help a person when he feels darkness to turn it into light, it also somehow the connection doesn't feel strong enough, doesn't feel that it can hold on.

R. Not that it's strong enough, you have to constantly feel your ten and yourself together and then you won't have a difference between the light and the darkness, because everyone will go through the light and darkness at the same time in the same times, day and night and you will all be above the Earth.

S. That is the desired state but if the state is opposite?

R. Then you need to connect more, to such an extent that the darkness will shine as light. That you won't feel a difference between them, that you will behave in the darkness through the connection between you like in the light, because part is in the light, part is in the darkness, you will connect it together and you will constantly work like a motor that has a plus and a minus and then there is no problem.

S. In the process of advancing toward this state we go through a process that is opposite ?

R. Yes of course, how can I decide that I can without a society when I'm going through states that have no advancement? I understand that a society won't help me so I will fall and not advance.

67. S.(1:07:46)  For this process to be as one light the deficiency should not disappear, but somehow it is felt that the deficiency comes and it goes, that it is replaced is there such a thing as a constant permanent for deficiency?

R.  The deficiency constantly changes but according to that, we feel ourselves, that we need society to not fall off of the boat, do you understand? So this life flow won't take us in certain directions, we have to hold on to society and society is that lifesaver and then in the darkness I feel myself as if I'm in the lights because some are in the darkness and some are in the light but it is like in the dance, where one goes up and one goes down, but all in all we dance.
