127. When the man was clothed from the pure side in Abraham, he was whitened in him, obtaining illumination of Hesed, which is white. When he clothed in Isaac, he was purified by his fire of Gevura. When he clothed in Jacob, he showed his form and made offspring.
128. Why did Adam HaRishon have to incarnate? The Creator commanded the good inclination and the evil inclination—the good Adam and the evil Adam—three commandments: idol-worship, incest, bloodshed. Idol-worship is as it is written, “and the Lord God commanded the man saying,’” and we learn that “command” is but idol-worship. “The man” is bloodshed, “saying” is incest.
129. With this commandment, the good inclination and the evil inclination, who are the good Adam and the wicked Adam, were commanded together. After the evil inclination broke the commandments of the Creator, He sentenced him to death. The evil inclination said, “What shall I do? If I die, the good inclination will take another servant, since the evil inclination is a servant and his mate is a maidservant, and that servant he will take will inherit my place?”
The wicked Adam, the evil inclination, was a holy angel. He was the greatest among the angels who served Adam HaRishon in the Garden of Eden. The prohibition on the tree of knowledge of good and evil applied also to the angels of above, and SAM broke the prohibition and ate from the tree of knowledge, drawing illumination of Hochma from the left line from above downward, and then his sanctity was blemished and he became a wicked Adam, impure, and by this, he was sentenced to death.
This is so because eventually, the side of impurity will be revoked from the land, since only holiness is eternal. When SAM fell to the impure side, in any case, he will eventually die and be canceled from the world.
Therefore, after the evil inclination broke the commandment of the Creator, He sentenced him to death. That is, he was blemished and went out from the holy side into the impure side, by which he was sentenced to death, since the impure side will eventually be canceled from the world.
The evil inclination said, “What shall I do? If I die, the good inclination will take another servant,” since before he fell from his sanctity, he was the great servant of Adam HaRishon in the Garden of Eden, and after he was defiled, he understood that Adam HaRishon would take a holy angel to serve instead of him in the Garden of Eden. For this reason, he contemplated defiling Adam and Eve, as well, so he would remain in his service as before.
130. What did the evil inclination do? He went, he and his wife Lilit, to seduce Adam and his wife from the good side, Adam and Eve. The evil inclination’s partner, Lilit, seduced Adam, the good inclination. It is written about her, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree,” and the evil inclination seduced Eve, and they caused them death.
By eating the tree of knowledge, it is considered that Adam HaRishon bestowed the holy abundance to the wife of SAM, Lilit, and mixed the holy with the impure, and SAM bestowed his filth to Eve.
131. For this reason, the Creator undressed Adam HaRishon, the good inclination, from his body in the Garden of Eden and from his garments, him and his wife, as it is written, “And they knew that they were naked,” and drove them out from the Garden of Eden, as it is written, “And He drove out the man.” “The” comes to include, for his partner Eve was expelled with him.
132. The Creator brought down Adam and Eve into seven lands: Guy, Neshiya, Tziya, Arka, Eretz, Adama, Tevel. When he repented, he would tweet and ascend. For this reason, he was naked, without clothing, he and his wife.
133. At that time, the Creator brought Adam HaRishon in the incarnation of Abraham, and brought Eve in the incarnation of Sarah. The Creator purified him in a furnace of silver mixed with Ever, lead. As soon as the people of Nimrod threw Abraham into the fire in Ur of the Chaldeans, the silver was whitened and extract the filth, the lead, from within it outwards. Likewise, Adam HaRishon, who was incarnated in Abraham, was whitened and extracted the filth from within himself outwards. This is Ishmael, who is the filth that the serpent, Lilit, cast in Eve.
134. Afterwards, Adam’s partner, Eve, incarnated in Isaac, and he was made red by the fire of the judgments and extracted outwards the filth from within him. This is Esau, whose red, like the slaughter blood, implies the tying of Isaac. And because the female, Eve, incarnated in Isaac, the left line, the left line is called “female.”
Adam and Eve are right and left. Hence, Adam HaRishon, the right, incarnated and was corrected in Abraham, who is right. Eve, who is left, incarnated and was corrected in Isaac, who is left. Because the left is female, the female incarnated in Isaac.
135. Afterwards, Adam and Eve came in Jacob and his partner, and extracted semen from him. His color is green, surrounding him, and this is as it is written, “Behold, God does all these things, twice, three times, with a man,” which are the three incarnations of Adam HaRishon in Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
