1. Rav’s Introduction: We are learning with you, the closest things to us, the most important thing. We are under the rule of the will to receive, the rule of the ego the Creator has created, especially when He says, “I have created the evil inclination,” I have prepared for you specifically such discernment opposite so you would be able to later recognize me, identify me, come close to me, and for everything to be as light, as two things. There is the advantage of light from darkness because as the created beings you only see, recognize, distinguish that there are two forces in creation or otherwise you won't be able to know Me, to come to Me, to be like Me. But only now when I created this evil inclination, I place you in this evil inclination and then when you go through this evil inclination you absorb it, you acquire it, you immerse in it. Then afterwards you are able to recognize that it is evil, that the ego is the evil force and once you recognize it as evil, you will ask Me to save you, to take you out of this evil. And this way you'll come to Me,you will reach me.

And before you start to recognize it, that you'll have the evil inclination, that it’s evil, you're called a wild, useless human. You're not humans yet. You have this potential force when you reach the degree of man. But in truth the degree of man starts when you enter Egypt. When you begin to see, to recognize that your nature is the egoistic force, the evil force. And the more you hate it, the more you recognize it as evil, it will be called the ‘recognition of evil’ and consequently you'll begin to study it and see that the true evil is the one who doesn't let you connect. Not all kinds of will to receive like you are using but rather just like in each and every phenomenon, we have several degrees, four degrees, according to the gap between the light and the vessel. Then also in the will to receive, you have to come to know these degrees until you reach recognition of evil and the evil in the will to receive is in nothing else except in how it's not letting you be people, a ten, a nation. When you try to be connected and you can't be connected then you can say that you are fighting the evil inclination. You are starting to know its nature and from the recognition of evil you come to the recognition of good and you become prepared, capable of recognizing Me.

This entire time where you are starting to discover the lack of the absence of forces of connection between, that you have not even buds of connection between you.
In heart and soul, all of you together -- what does it mean together? How do we come closer? How do we measure this closeness? How, again and again when we are trying to unify these parts from the structure of Adam HaRishon, how we feel, how each one of us is after all a broken heart. What's exactly broken in me and in my friend and how can we connect between us in such a way that we close on these sharp corners between us so that we complete, complement, them? We don't erase, we don't smooth out those corners. On the contrary, the more we try to come closer to one another we will feel that we are different, we are unable to, incapable of connecting and this is the exile of Egypt, the recognition of evil. By that brings us closer to one another and this closeness must take place before we come close to Him, otherwise our closeness with the Creator will be egoistic. All of our corrections, everything we must do in building the ten, there are such corrections that help us relate to the Creator in order to bestow contentment to Him, and if we yearn for the Creator more than how we yearn for the friends, this means our yearning is egoistic and we're not able to come close. But on the contrary, according to our efforts to come close to Him more than to come close to our friends, the Creator accordingly has to remove separate Himself until we learn what it means to be above our ego and that only in the ten must we recognize that the connection between us is the entire foundation for the connection with the Creator. Meaning when we return to the Creator” We can do it right away, it simply depends on what kind of request. If we turn to Him to connect us and with each passing day, we discover how distant we are, like the students of Rabbi Shimon, about whom it's written in the Zohar. That we don't want to be close, in close proximity to the Creator, the Creator being the force of bestowal, love of others. But go ahead, if you wish to approach Him, you have to be more in love of others, bestowal to others, and we don't do that. So, it works out after seven years of satiation, after embarking on the path and we didn't intend for it to be so difficult and to be so necessary to connect and how it depends on my soul and my character and whoever I am. I have to open myself up and introduce the whole world, my friends, everyone, to bring them inside and care for them more than how I care for myself.

In short, we begin to have a revelation of the spiritual work. How much we have to rise above our nature in order to reach spirituality. 2. S. (16:46) There is a fear that we will be fulfilled by some illumination. How can we make sure that we stay deficient, that we don't get satisfied, and we use it in order to bestow and not to fall back and self-love?

R. Spirituality is wholeness, wholeness in each and every state. Meaning even if I have a deficiency, I want the deficiency to be whole. If I want fulfillment, I want my fulfillment to be whole. I want to realize my vessel in terms of its deficiency and in terms of its fulfillment. I'm not afraid of anything. I go all the way as much as possible with the group, as much as possible to the Creator and that’s it. Whatever happens, happens. Because I don’t understand what should happen even in the current state, let alone with what preparation do I enter the next state. I highly recommend doing every action in a perfect way, wholly in the connection between you and the agreements between you. Let it be towards the Creator and you'll see how well it works, more and more intensely.

3. S. (18:34) How can we come to such hatred to the will to receive for ourselves without blows until we say my death is better than life for me?

R. Blows means our will to receive is not happy about the results we are bringing. Let's say you're coming home after a full day of work and you bring your wife who is expecting you to bring food from the store and other essentials that the family needs. Instead, you bring her something from which you cannot cook dinner, you cannot dress the kids up. Meaning you don't bring your will to receive what it wants so of course the will to receive will be unhappy and do to you what your wife sometimes does to her husband when she's not happy with him. So that's how I need to understand that our advancement with our ego means that it will always be unhappy if we are advancing correctly. If it is happy then it's a sign that something is wrong about me, that I'm doing something to wish it well and support it and not in the way that I'm advancing towards bestowal. We have to be prepared. That each time my ego is unhappy, Rabash used to say to himself “let It suffer.” That's how we advance. We need to grow accustomed to those things, gradually. The more we appreciate being in the will to bestow, we enjoy it when our will to receive suffers a little bit. Not so much that it runs away but just to get used to it. Until he says I want it. It begins to appreciate the will to bestow and he’s gradually saying I want it. Eventually he's going to go with us. It's in the end, it's far away from us somehow, he's moving in that direction.

I am preparing for them such things in this world that they would even want to run away. They would feel how bad this world is, and not that it's just bad but it's bad because of their character.

They are entering a conflict. Crisis after crisis and there's no end to it and they suffer, and their children suffer, and they see their future in this entire perspective as bleak and things will not get better but only worse. And then when they attain this process, what's awaiting them, then they begin to investigate reluctantly. What will we do? Then they begin to say that the one who is to blame for this process is their ego... their evil inclination, their nature, their evil inclination and wishing to get rid of it, they will turn to Me. They'll have no one else to turn to. They’ll discover that they are not able to use any of their forces to change anything. They are only able to go from crisis to crisis and then what will be of them? They will have to turn to me. I will burden them even further with blows until they feel that they are completely unable to remain in this world. Whether they will ask me that I'll do good to them, that I'll take from them the blows and they'll remain here. No. They'll have to recognize that all their blows come to them from Me, from this upper force and this upper force wants them to change their method of existence from in order to receive to an order to bestow, from separation to connection, from hate to love. After they come to recognize it, then this recognition of evil from their current state and recognition of good that I will shine to them from up ahead, from the gap, will be so great that they will cry out from the bottom of their heart and with all their might and everyone will cry out and then their deficiency will be enough to acquire new quality, a new nature. And then I'll create this change for them. Instead of the will to receive, they'll begin to move toward a will to bestow. I can’t do it before this because they have to come to recognize their situation as bad. They, themselves need to want to run away from this prison that they feel in their will to receive, in their ego. Each and everything that relates to them personally and brings them some pleasure, some joy, some sweetness to the will to receive will be something they can't tolerate, disgusting. They won't be able to stay in it even a moment and that everything sweet that they will discover will be able to be revealed from bestowing to one another and then I will take them out of Egypt. They’ll feel first that they are in exile from the force of love and bestowal. That's what the Creator explained to Abraham but only to Abraham. The others gradually need to attain it. R. R. 6. S. (38:23) How can we feel greatness in bestowal and love if I never felt bestowal in love?

R. Yearn for connection for, to be embraced to that extent we will see how that we are repulsed by it, we don't want it and that's enough that's already the recognition of evil according to our current state.

9. S. (39:03) You said we will come to a state when each feeling of sweetness will be intolerable in us as we want to prefer as I understand that it will be revealed in the ten how do we come to this?

R. We won't feel such sweetness in our state rather according to how much we yearn for connection between us and we'll discover more of that we are unable to do something that disturbs us will disconnected from our thoughts and actions I can't even think about what can I think about the connection how many thoughts do I actually have about connection look at what is happening in our life how many songs you have how many films, musical compositions, art about the suffering, about people breaking up, people in pain, people dying, how many artworks you have how many artworks do you have around joy? There are usually such comedies, light comedies things for kids like fairy tales meaning there are many discernments in the evil inclination and the good inclination there aren't that many discernments. Looking at classical music, classical compositions, it's full of suffering, yearning, longing. You can't create those great works, speeches, if it's all about good and joy and happiness and also happiness can exist only on the condition that you can, with some sorrow just like we in order to taste some good food. R. 11. S. (48:04) For going out of Egypt should we awaken that deficiency in us or only the Creator in awaken us?

R. 14. S. (58:39) What should we do when it feels that the Creator is infinitely good and does good on one hand and on the other hand is evil inclination and does bad? What should we do?

R. You have to do only one thing during the day, constantly remain in the morning lesson, meaning listen again. Therefore, even though the same inclination that satisfied before that previously gave them life vitality, now they feel that same inclination, that same source they say that it's bad but it's giving your life. Now I prefer not to have this corporeal, you'll like this corporeality that is becoming hateful in me, I want to have spiritual life, I want to be in bestowal, I want to be connected to the friends, I want to be connected to the Creator, from where did you get this thing, it is totally unnatural, what did you go nuts? 17. S. (01:19:49) We know that we have to serve the Creator in happiness. Is it our duty to serve the Creator in the quality of bestowal or do we have to grow our ego to serve the Creator?

R. In order to approach, to come closer to the Creator, we have to be equipped, armed with two forces, a big will to receive and a big will to bestow. If you don't have the will to receive when you come to the Creator, then with what are you coming? You are coming in order to receive because He wants to give, so if you have no intention to bestow then why are you and how are you approaching the Creator because He is only with the intention to bestow, you are in two conflicting forces that truly want to neutralize one another. Our whole work is how with those two conflicting forces do we gradually build a 3rd force, the middle line. How do we learn to use our ego and our will to bestow, if we have it, to bring contentment to the Creator? How do we connect the two? R. We need to reach a state that by being in a group we begin to appreciate connection by looking at others because envy, lust, and honor take a person out of this world, we want to rise above our ego because I want to be like my friends, then we show each other how great it is to be connected. We need to reach such an artistry of acting towards each other that even though we are all egoist that we can still force each and every one of us to want to be connected, loving, drawn to bestowal from us towards the Creator.

S. It is confusing when we read that Abraham speaks with the Creator and gets answers, is this the quality of Abraham and the quality of the Creator that exists in each in the ten, how do we get an answer from the Creator?

R. In every one of us there is a quality of Abraham and every one of us there's a connection between that quality and the Creator, but we just don't discover it yet. Just like we don't discover many discernments that are all within us. They are all in us; we just haven't developed to some states where we feel it. Man's whole development, educational, cultural is only in order to refine our senses and then we will discover what actually influences us and how do I influence the world. So, everything happens bit by bit to the extent that we are in the ten connecting with the friends. The Creator through this pandemic is giving us very special conditions that on the one hand He distances us physically and on the other hand He forces us to be more connected to each other virtually. Meaning internally, emotionally. So here we have to understand that this is already the Creator's demand from us, that we will be more internally connected through the heart. This is what He wants. I am talking about the groups, if you are not going together, if you are not yearning, if you don't discover that you want to be a bit more internally connected with the friends and specific what is physical distance awakens this urge to connect more internally through your hearts, then you are still not in good states. S. Can we say that Egypt, egoism, the evil inclination and the will to receive are all the same?

R. The evil inclination, Egypt, Pharaoh, Egyptians they are all various degrees in the will to receive just like still vegetative animate and speaking. Pharaoh is the uppermost in the will to receive, but specifically from being the top of the egoistic will to receive it has connection with the Creator. R.
