Part 1:

Rabash. Article No. 16, (1984). Concerning Bestowal

1. R. (43:30) What is your impression? Silence.

2. S. (44:07) First of all a great inspiration from the article, it's very powerful. I think I read it when I had just started studying and I thought I understood something. Now it feels that there's a great depth to it, especially in the matter of serving an important person. That the reward won’t just be to serve an important person but to make him happy. That's something very lofty and it's unclear how to be happy from the happiness of the great One.

R. Correct.

3. S. (45:08) The impression is that a person is not exactly conscious of this process of changing the intention, like with the example of the car. That he at first wants a plastic car but when he grows his intention changes.

R. That is correct. The goal changes, the means change, the feeling changes and he overcomes over time as he advances through the study towards the truth.

4. S. (45:57) I was really impressed by the discernments regarding the reward, it's very important. You can somehow measure where you are, it’s so precise here.

R. The main thing here is to see how we change our attitude toward what is a reward and how we obtain it since we cannot work without a reward. But the reward can be diametrically opposite to what we feel about it in the beginning of the work, in the middle and the end.

5. S. (46:50) You said to read in the article how you really feel the gratitude in practice to the upper One. How much He cares and one develops and comes closer to be in His qualities, to realize everything. You can feel the gratitude

R. Yes.

6. S. (47:17) I remember that we read a few times this article and this time it's a completely different attitude. You understand that the attitude to the group, that's how you can feel the matters and understand them. That's our part and on His part, in this article about bestowal one of the toughest subjects for us to crack, he explains it to us here in a way that just leaves you speechless.

7. S. (48:10) A very deep article. From what he writes here is that the main reward is the reflected light, meaning the power of bestowal that the lower one receives from the upper One. And in this mutuality between the direct light, the pleasure the Creator gives and the reflected light, where's our work here, our goal? Because it says here that the Creator also gives the reflected light.

R. We have to organize ourselves, the system called the group and try to establish all the necessary conditions in order to advance to spirituality, more correct, more truthful spirituality. That's our work all the rest we receive from Above.

S. The effort in the group is the reflected light?

R. Yes.

S. The moment a person receives great pleasure of some sort, what does it mean that he builds in return the reflected light?

R. He remembers and he tries to build the kind of attitude toward the purpose of creation where this attitude will be greater and more important than what he has towards the public itself relative to the pleasure he feels. Although everything he does he founds on the feeling of pleasure, receiving contentment but together with that he has to do the opposite as we say. He needs to reach a state where he exchanges his relationships of reception and bestowal to reception and giving.

8. S. (50:44) It says that the reward is the desire to give, to bestow. Do I need to look for a quality that I know, a reward that I know?

R. I don't understand the question, I didn't hear a question. Repeat please.

S. It says that the reward is the power of bestowal, so how is it possible to ask or to look for this reward which is a force we don't understand, we don't know, the force of bestowal?

R. Yes but gradually we nevertheless yearn to approach the Creator, we begin to feel how much pleasure we have from serving Him. This is according to the recognition of the greatness of the upper One and then our service, our bestowal to the Creator becomes a pleasure, a reward.

9. S. (52:30) In the example with the important person who is that in our work?

R. The Creator.

S. Where are the friends in that example?

R. The friends are inside a person. They hold a person, give him stability and power.

S. How correct is it to look at each friend as the most important person?

R. We can't do it so we have to take the entire power of the group and hold ourselves within the group, inside of them.

S. It says here that if a person sees that there is someone else that can do it better for the townspeople than himself, then he sacrifices his pleasure for the sake of someone who can do it better. What does that mean, it's unclear in our work? How does that happen?

R. It's because he thinks of the pleasure of the upper One more than his own pleasure. So he does everything so that anyone who can give pleasure to the upper One can be in his place, will be in his place. And he himself, he annuls himself from the work for reward, for everything; only so the upper One will receive contentment.

10. S. (55:01) It speaks here about labor in Torah and Mitzvot. Mitzvot we somehow understand, that it’s actions we do in the ten. What's the labor in the Torah?

R. The same. After all our inclination is to come closer to acts of bestowal.

11. S. (55:35) How can we practically begin actions of Tzimtzum, how can we begin doing actions of restriction?

R. By incorporating in the ten we can detect whether our actions can be spiritual or corporeal. We can realize the scrutiny, the correction, this filtering process and leave for ourselves only acts of bestowal.

12. S. (56:33) It turns out that the bestowal that we received as a reward is basically the efforts to acquire the next degree?

R. Yes.

S. And actually receiving the force of bestowal brings contentment to the Creator?

R. Yes.

13. S. (57:04) What does it mean to carry the suitcase of our teachers and the Creator? How can we check that we're really doing that?

R. The suitcase is weightless, its weight is measured according to a person's ability to go in faith above reason. So according to the power I have to raise it to the spiritual degree, to faith, accordingly, I can carry the suitcase. Meaning I feel the weight, the heaviness of the suitcase because before that I worked on the importance of the Creator.

S. What's in the suitcase?

R. This suitcase contains all of our ego, all of our egoistic desire to receive pleasure.

S. I didn’t understand.

R. I can work with it as if this brings me no heaviness. On the contrary I feel that the more I can come to service toward the Creator I gain from that, not lose and I'm not doing hard work.

S. So what's the action of service here, how can we service the upper One?

R. It's called from love of the created beings to love of the Creator. As much as we can serve one another and be together, so can we approach the Creator.

S. Do we also have a role with respect to the whole, to the public to serve the Creator?

R. Yes.

14. S. (59:22) How can we determine our goal in a very sharp way in the ten? Sometimes we meet in the ten and it happens automatically. How can we define our goal of our ten meetings if it doesn't happen automatically?

R. The Creator arranges it for us, either it comes to us with ease or with difficulty but it's all arranged from Above. We only need to make actions of connection between us so that together we’ll be able to rise higher and higher toward bestowal, meaning to feel as little heaviness in the suitcase as possible.

15. S. (01:00:35) It turns out that after a person makes a certain amount of effort the Creator gives him vessels of bestowal. How does a person know if he gave sufficient effort?

R. He tries to do it with all his might. That's it, as much as possible.

S. What characterizes the correct labor in quality and quantity?

R. As much as he can bestow, he does it, that’s it.

16. S. (01:01:24) The desire to bestow always needs to be stronger than the will to receive but if I receive a greater pleasure from it am I in bestowal or reception?

R. It depends on how you respond to it, how you react to it. If you react in such a way that nevertheless, you wish to rise above it, that the Creator will be more important than the heaviness of the work, this is called bestowal. Then the opposite of that will be reception.

17. S. (01:02:14) How do we work in order not to receive any reward?

R. It’s one who thinks of the friends and through them about the Creator in order to help them with their spiritual work, that’s how we come to applying the correct work. We need to try to be in it all the time, meaning all the time try to be in additional connection and picking up the suitcase together for the sake of the Creator. And then we’ll see if we’re succeeding more or less each time although it appears to be heavier and heavier.

18. S. (01:03:26) You said that the friends are inside the person and they hold him and stabilize him. What does it mean that the friends are within the person?

R. He wants to connect with them, he wants to receive strength, power from them, he's willing to share his power with them. And the main thing is their common goal by which they wish to raise, to lift the Creator above them.

S. What does it mean that the friends are inside the person?

R. Inside his heart.

S. If the friends are inside the person where is the Rav?

R. You can say also with them.

S. When we’re in the presence of the Rav or an important person there's a stable wall of confidence and answers to all questions. How do we build this kind of wall?

R. The main thing is we want to learn about what Rabash is writing to us and to be adhered between us and to him as much as possible. This is the direction of our exertion.

19. S. (01:04:50) He gives here an example of the car with regards to the work in Lo Lishma and Lishma. The kid wants the plastic car and that's how he starts, then bit by bit, time passes and he receives a true car, a real car. The feeling is that a plastic car, you understand there's no need for it anymore but a true car you still don't have a need for it. He doesn't describe some transition stage, he says there's a plastic car and there's the real car but in practice you don't want the first one anymore but you don't yet want the second one?

R. That's your choice. A plastic car comes from nature and then later you begin to devalue it, disrespect it. But you can’t come to the real car because here you have to connect with friends and you have to try and be together with them building in your mind and your brain and your heart, the true car, a real car. And this is the spiritual work.

20. S. (01:06:24) Rabash says that our whole reward is the vessel called the full power to bestow and we only lack vessels and not lights. What is this that your reward is a vessel?

R. I lack nothing, just wanting to be in the force of bestowal toward the Creator and I want to receive the strength for it and direction, guidance so that I'll have such a vessel.

S. But what does it mean to want a vessel? Wanting fulfillment that’s clear but wanting the vessel, the Kli what is that?

R. I want to have a desire to receive the spiritual degree, the correct spiritual degree, the power to use it correctly, the mind, the intellect to activate it. I want to receive all of that so I'm praying to the Creator and I'm asking Him for the forces that will help me build this correct connection.

S. What do you want the result of your work to be each time if you define the reward is that we want vessels? What needs to be the result of the work, what is this reward that I demand?

R. I want to have a more precise desire for the true goal. I will see it more clearly like from within a fog.

S. So you just want a precise desire, that’s bestowal for you?

R. Yes, all the rest as much as I have the correct desire I will use it correctly, meaning turning to the Creator, asking for realization.

S. What is a correct desire?

R. A correct desire is for me to see how it leads me toward connection with everyone, toward one force of bestowal, where ultimately I reveal the Creator there.

21. S. (01:09:23) I felt throughout the article that he describes levels of annulment, greater and greater. But what does it mean the love of the Creator, what is the love of the Creator?

R. What is love of the Creator?

S. Yes, because throughout the whole article he describes what a person needs to give up on and concede more and more. That's how I felt that the whole article is deeper and deeper annulment but this feeling of the love of the Creator, what is that?

R. Love of the Creator is when I love the force of bestowal that controls us, that connects us and is leading us to the goal.

S. Can this feeling of love come to a person without the measurements he does towards himself, how much he nullifies himself? Because everything seems like a person measures towards how much he can give. How to measure love, how does a person know that he loves?

R. Exactly according to the measure of bestowal a person can extract from himself.

22. S. (01:11:00) In the end of the article it says we see that all that we do is for self-benefit and then we want the reward that the Creator will give us the power to bestow. If we’re built from self-reception, self-benefit, will to receive, how to make it so that the Creator will replace our desire to a desire to bestow?

R. According to the influence of the Creator on us we receive more and more from His bestowal called the upper Light, we receive changes. These changes build in us a desire to bestow.

S. In this process the inner engine of the will to receive always generates desires to receive and receive. It continues to work?

R. It continues to work in a certain way, to be the posterior to the states of sanctity.

S. So I need to build within myself like a split. There's the engine which is the original engine, the initial one that always increases its demand to receive, to receive and on the other side of the split what do I need to develop? Maybe for there be a desire to have a different desire like yours?

R. Yes, he who is greater than his friend, his inclination is greater.

S. So how to make it so my identification will shift from the original engine that works and works and drives you dumb to the other side, which is I wish I had a desire to be like you, to bestow to the Creator. How to do that?

R. This will happen only with the influence of the environment, only through the influence of the environment. The upper Light comes, influences a person and builds in him new desires and forces.

23. S. (01:13:27) Does it mean that when we lose lightness in our work that we lose connection between us?

R. No, we do not lose the connection between us. The connection between us grows stronger and acquires new form as we want to bestow to each other and help one another. This is our work.

24. S. (01:14:15) He writes here that the person needs to yearn to receive on the one hand, on the other hand he needs to have equivalence of form. So first he needs to restrict the desire to receive. What am I working on, the desire for equivalence of form or restricting my will to receive?

R. No, not to restrict the will to receive, that’s not always correct. You yearn to resemble the Creator. As He is merciful, so are you merciful.

S. So what is the prayer that the person should always scrutinize? Rabash always tells you what you should feel and how to pray in order to reach it. What is that prayer from the bottom of the heart that we have to reach?

R. To learn from the Creator. That’s called a wise disciple.

25. S. (01:15:29) He says in the article that the reward doesn’t change but the name of it changes from false to truth. If the reward I'm demanding is for the friend I'm working with right now and that my definition of the friend, his name, who that friend is, is that I want the friend to constantly grow to be greater so that he’ll rise on the degrees of the ladder; what does it mean that the name of my friend is changing to the truth?

R. I don't know what you're asking. Can you ask simply without spinning it?

S. I want my friend in my work, in my exertion to increase in plus one because of the exertion that I'm doing right now. Meaning I'm saying who my friend is and after I exert he will be greater by one. Because of my exertion I want him to be closer to the quality of bestowal. What does it mean that his name becomes more true?

R. I don't know. More real in your eyes from what? You’re asking things that have no root in the article.

26. S. (01:17:47) How from the Emanator’s desire to bestow in the emanated being the will to receive is born and that gives the answer to why the Creator is only a bestower and the created being is only the receiver with the intention to bestow contentment to his Maker and not for his own pleasure. Is that right?

R. Four phases of direct light.

27. S. (01:18:31) I heard it's not always right to restrict the will to receive. When is it not right to do?

R. If the desire to receive is capable already to work with the intention in order to bestow then certainly you will use it more in order to bestow and you are higher up.

28. S. (01:19:00) What is the difference between the desire to bestow and the force of bestowal?

R. For the time being it's not worthwhile to enter that. Let's say it's the same thing for now.

29. S. (01:19:17) I’m sitting with my friends in the morning lesson and enjoying it. How can I turn this pleasure into reflected light?

R. Try to think in the direction of the benefit for the friends, to the success of the whole group that’s with you in the lesson.

30. S. (01:19:39) To serve the upper One is the correction I'm doing for the upper One or self-correction?

R. There's no such thing in spirituality, everything is towards the upper One.

31. S. (01:20:00) In the action of bestowal should we know and take the friend's desire into consideration?

R. Without that I won't have forces to bestow if I don't connect to the friends, specifically when they make efforts to come closer to me.

32. S. (01:20:25) Can we feel pleasure by restricting ourselves?

R. Certainly, it depends on the extent to which we understand what the restriction is and how much we can build upon it the act of bestowal. Then also the restriction is a joyful action.

33. S. (01:21:02) Is it possible to bestow to the Creator not through the others, is there such a state?

R. No.

S. Never?

R. Never because this stems from the whole form of creation.

S. Let's say a person gets a state and he agrees with the state, he tries to justify the state. So supposedly it’s not connected to the others, to the friends?

R. How can it be that he's justifying and considering this state, how can it be that he’s doing this  without seeing it through the others? He doesn't have the vessels for that.

S. So there's no such reality of bestowing to the Creator without the others. Is there a thing a person bestows to the Creator but he doesn’t enjoy it? He also doesn't know that the Creator enjoys it and he doesn't enjoy it but he bestows.

R. That's what we call the concealed things are toward our God, when we don't know when we’re truly bestowing to the Creator or not and a person can truly err in that.

S. Meaning that a person doesn't always know the Creator is enjoying. And when a person bestows and doesn't enjoy, could it be that someone is bestowing and doesn't enjoy it?

R. Bestowal without pleasure, no. You can't receive blows and be thankful, you have to feel. That’s called mind and heart, “until all my bones shall say so.”

S. So the test for me whether I'm bestowing or not is that I'm enjoying the action?

R. Yes, the Creator wants us to be in pleasure, in the closest pleasure to Him. That is called being in bestowal.

34. S. (01:23:10) He gives an example in the article on how a person can really check if he’s bestowing in the right direction. That if someone else would do that same service for the great one he is happy that the other one is doing it better than him, he's willing to let the other one do it. How can we measure what something does better to the upper One?

R. To the extent in which you do this towards the ten, towards the whole world. You have no other vessels.

S. So also towards the ten. I want to do something good to the ten. Let's take this example: a friend also does something for the ten, so how do I know how to measure? What is the absolute measurement of who does better to the ten, whether I do it or the friend does it?

R. Try to do it together with him.

S. Yes but I want to go toward the example in the article, if I understand it correctly. What is important is that the object that you are bestowing to will enjoy and not your own pleasure. How do I know how to see that the friend did it better so I’ll give up on it and let the friend do it and that will be the reward and not my own?

R. I don't know, I don't know how to say. How do you check this? This is only when we’re already talking in a higher degree. As much as you connect with the whole ten and come to a state in which you are in a higher place.

S. But until then every measurement I have is a lie?

R. It's not sure, it's not certain.

35. S. (01:25:33) Can a person even scrutinize if he has the right intention to bestow or is it concealed from him?

R. Intention in order to bestow? Yes, he can discern.

S. How?

R. When he connects to the group, to the friends and tries to be in them, to receive their desire and to implement, realize all he can with all his might, his vessels. And then he will be in order to bestow.

S. When he tries to do it time after time throughout the years and then he sees it's always in order to receive, some self-benefit is hiding in there.

R. In the end I don't think so but along the way it can be.

36. S. (01:26:36) Could we say in a simple way that the vessels of bestowal are the friends?

R. No, qualities.

S. If the friends, the environment are giving me that desire to bestow, that for myself I don't have it. They're projecting it on me and that's where the fulfillment is to the friends, so I'm not?

R. We will scrutinize it, that's not simple. We cannot pass that way from the desires to the intentions and from the intentions to people, to bodies. Soon.

37. S. (01:27:35) I still don't understand what it means to want the desire.

R. To want the desire is that I envy the other who is in a different desire and I have a feeling that he is in a better state.

S. I'm envious when I see the results of the desire, let's say pleasure from bestowal but to want the desire itself, I don't know what it is.

R. All right, yes.

S. So it’s a different kind of reward, again it's egoistic.

R. You have a friend who has a different desire than you do and he's succeeding, he's being rewarded more than you. So according to the amount that he’s receiving from the environment you’re envious and you yearn. You’re envious of his yearning, you also want the same.

S. I want the pleasure and not the desire.

R. Okay, yes, that's the only way we measure ourselves.

S. It's like we write a deficiency for a deficiency or a prayer before prayer.

R. Okay.

38. S. (01:29:05) You said we need to learn from the examples the Creator is giving.

R. Yes?

S. And there is this term called ‘unconditional love’ that is love with no conditions, but maybe to implement this love, to give it, is still put together, I think that an attitude begets an attitude, is that right?

R. Yes.

S. So does it mean that the Creator gives according to the receiver's attitude?

R. Well, let's say that, yes.

S. Now, there are friends in the ten I'm willing, I feel that I'm willing to give them, let's say one hundred kilos, and there are friends according to their investment towards the ten, that's how I calculate. And there are friends that I feel that I am in the state that I should have given them and I don't feel they deserve it, so what should I do with that calculation?

R. For the time being don't do anything, try to just develop vessels of bestowal, the desire to bestow, the desire to connect.

39. S. (01:30:43) This Congress is an opportunity to connect so how can we use the Convention to give maximum joy to the Creator?

R. We need to connect as much as possible with one another, men with men, women with women; and then above that, these two groups both men and women, connect between us to “one soul.” And this is how we will be able to benefit from the Convention, many new discernments, new degrees, I'm certain that this can happen.

40. S. (01:31:58) There is a sentence in the article that, “while the lower one needs to perform an action that isn't in the root, he feels unpleasantness in it,” so what does the sentence mean?

R. I didn't understand what she asked.

S. She's saying about the sentence in the article that “while the lower one should perform an action that is not in the root, he feels it as unpleasant,” she was asking what does that mean?

R. Yes, as much as our feeling is also in a root, we can enjoy and to the extent it's distant from the root, we can suffer, and this is on one hand, on the other hand it aims us in the right direction towards the purpose of correction; to enjoy like the root.

41. S. (01:33:09) Where do we get the power to be able to serve and bestow to an unimportant person in Lishma, to an unimportant person?

R. There is no such a thing as a person who is not important to us, there isn't, because we are all in one system which includes all the souls, all the created beings. And therefore, the word ‘not important’ towards each and everyone is the wrong word, we will have to connect all of us, all of us together.

S. How do we create or how do we make ‘important people’?

R. We depict to the extent which one is near them, close to them, in the same group, in the same actions, same yearnings, desires, intentions. And this is how we come closer, more and more, until we start to show that we are in close, mutual actions and this is how we acquire friends.

42. S. (01:34:51) I don't understand one thing: what is it, that thing that prevents my friends from entering in my heart, is it my pride, my ego, why can't I and my friends feel each other with no need to even speak?

R. It is, it is good if we could join all of us together and connect us all, bind ourselves together and ask the Creator to open our hearts and this is how we will be rewarded with entering and being with an open heart and be “as one heart.”

43. S. (01:35:41) Throughout the text he explains to us different ways to receive pleasure, joy, and at the end of the text he says, “the only true reward is to beget a Kli which becomes a need for a desire to receive only to bestow,” that is the vessel?

R. It is a real vessel because it's unlimited, to the extent in which I can give I have no bounds and the whole vessel is before me, and I can feel Him without any limitations.

44. S. (01:36:30) This article brings us all into a common feeling of the need to attain this reward, in the Convention can we obtain this step that we want so much?

R. I really hope so, at least we will come close to it for sure, and even more and more both men to men and women to women, and also between these and those. We will be able to rise above all kinds of signs that differentiate between these and those to one desire, to one desire in which we will start to feel the Creator which is bestowing upon us.

45. S. (01:37:35) When a person performs actions of bestowal and he’s aware that there is the Lo Lishma, the desire to work for himself, so what should he do, keep working and hope that the life works on him?

R. Yes, yes continue to work, that is what's called ‘an ox to the burden and a donkey to the load’. This is what it means that he’s not succeeding because he cannot see that he is succeeding but he must succeed; and this comes to him by him shutting his eyes and working only in faith or is it written “one who detains himself in the time of a fight”.

S. What does it mean “if he succeeds or not”?

R. To see that he's succeeding is to see that he's not leaving but at least every single moment, a little more and a little more. By us gathering now from the whole world together, also physically and also virtually, this gives us a great power and I hope that we will make a great, a true leap here!

46. S. (01:39:27) What’s the discernment between a person working as you just said in your answer, “with his eyes shut, tries to be as small as you can with no calculation, keep working and know he’s going to succeed” and what he writes here in the article that “there's a lot of people that are tired from the work in scrutiny and they say ‘we'll just keep working, believe that it's good and that it's enough, whenever we get the reward of the next world, we’ll know what it is”.

R. So they have no intention, of course if it's that way then the results of their exertion is truly miniscule.

S. How not to be tired of the scrutiny?

R. How everyday do we try to go a little more forward and a little more forward. We want to succeed, to attain, ‘one helps his friends’ by each showing his friend greater desires and that implements.

S. And the actions and the deeds, there is an ability to force himself and to bring himself but in thought, how is the person not tired from it if he sees it's always in order to receive, how is he not despair from it?

R. No, there are truly great changes in this from one state to another, even in the adjacent states; if we are advancing we identify ourselves each time as changing.

47. S. (01:41:25) To continue that, is there a reason to scrutinize the intention every time or just be satisfied that that's in order to receive, that's in order to bestow, in a simple way?

R. Yes, sometimes a person wants to suffice in that.

S. I'm asking if our work is still to go deeper into discernments: “No, here I'm receiving because I'm thinking this and I want to ask about that, and here, I'm even more going deeper and why I'm doing this action”? And I discover that also here specifically, too, I am receiving or in general I'm in order to receive and I'm asking in order to bestow.

R. That's also good.

S. What is right?

R. What's right is to examine inside a person what is the most internal and most important desire for him.

S. And in order to reach a desire I have to go through a lot of small discernments?

R. It could be that not, not necessarily so.

S. So it's not clear what the work is, should a person discern and dig in there, this is in order to receive, this is bestowing and why, or in general, ‘as long as I'm receiving, I’m receiving and I’m working on connection and hoping to reach in order to bestow?

R. Nevertheless, the second is preferable.

S. The second is better?

R. To constantly aim himself towards in order to bestow.

S. But I'm not going deeper into why I'm in order to receive, I'm saying I'm receiving anyway, why should I start picking in there, whether I’m receiving on this discernment and receiving on that discernment, as long as I'm in order to receive, I’m receiving?

R. No, this is nevertheless a ladder of degrees, even in this.

S. So is there a matter of thinking about it, researching it?

R. Who said not?

S. Because sometimes there is a feeling like you said that “our work is from receiving to bestowing?

R. No, they are two forms but in each of them there are many states.

S. Can we elaborate on this, how does a person do this work correctly without getting into all kinds of psychology, philosophy?

R. No, try.

48. S. (01:44:27) We’re speaking a lot about me carrying someone's luggage, maybe I'm carrying this or that way, but eventually my goal isn't to serve some, to carry someone's luggage, I want someone to carry my luggage, by that I become like Him, I become equal.

R. You'll have to pay.

S. But his luggage is being carried, I want someone to carry my luggage.

R. But you're not so important!

S. So what should I do in order for someone to carry my luggage? I have so much luggage that is heavy, I don't have forces anymore, the cart is full; I can’t carry anything for anyone anymore, I want help.

R. Try to buy another horse!

S. How, the cart is stuck in the mud with all the luggage?

R. Try to throw everything, it will be easier for you!

49. S. (01:45:43) Can, it is written that “they are two forms of two yearnings developing in man, one is the yearning to get pleasure, one is yearning to of the equivalence of form, and there is a new state that comes from Above that the light that clothes is a reflected light and that comes from the upper One”. What is that state, we know that there's the will to receive in bestowal from the Creator, what is this new state of ‘the reflected light’, is that a new creation?

R. This state is ‘the reflected light’, it's also coming from Above, just like all the lights and all the vessels, and a person needs to discern this and locate it and prefer one over the other.

S. Can we call it the innovations of the Torah as a result of our work?

R. Yes, yes.

S. So that's a new creation?

R. Yes.

S. From the way we mix with the Creator?

R. Yes.

S. We say there's no distance in spirituality, I came here today and I see the friends uplifting because the friends came from the world Kli! I see from the Czech Republic from Baltia from Russia and you can feel this heart beating in uplifting and happiness. But we say that the place doesn't matter, that everywhere is the same, so should it be the same or should we because of the closeness of the Convention to feel this happiness?

R. I didn't understand your question?

S. The question is in spirituality we say there's no place and it doesn't matter if we are studying virtually or physically but the connection between us is mutual.

R. So what did you come here from Beer Sheva for?

S. I have a deficiency, I came here, I see friends are uplifted, I'm sorry I didn't come earlier.

R. So what can I do for you?

S. I'm asking if there's some meaning in this?

R. There is meaning, of course, a person that comes from afar has greater reward according to one’s exertion, good luck!
