Part 1: Baal HaSulam. Introduction to The Book of Zohar. #11

Reader: Hello, we're going to be reading from the writings of Baal HaSulam. We're reading the “Introduction to The Book of Zohar,” we're continuing from item 11. Our study material can be found on Sviva Tova and the Arvut system and you can send live questions to the sites. Whoever asks a question in the study hall is asked to stand up, hold the microphone close to his mouth and speak loud and clear. So the “Introduction to The Book of Zohar,” item 11.

Reader: (00:37) Baal HaSulam. Introduction to The Book of Zohar. #11.The worlds cascaded onto the reality…”

Reader: (04:14) Item #12. “Thus, we have clearly explained the correction…”

Reader: (07:10) Item #13. “Indeed, we still need to understand…”

Student: (10:27) About this matter that from the point of view of the Creator the souls emerged corrected at the end of correction, that's still not understood because we give the example that the Creator is like a loving father and so forth. It's not understood how a father who thinks about his children, he's thinking about what they're feeling. Here it's kind of like as far as the Creator everything is corrected, it doesn't matter what the created beings feel?

M. Laitman: Meaning we're all also in the end of correction like the way the Creator wants to see us because relative to Him the reality is unchanging whether He sees the created beings in all their states, however He wanted, including in the final state.

Student: But that's from His point of view not from ours?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: It's not understood how what kind of love is that if it's not important what we feel?

M. Laitman: That's why we need to understand that His love is specifically because we are destined to pass through all these degrees and acquire gradually according to our choice and our efforts this final correct quality.

Student: But how is it that everything we think along the way is not important?

M. Laitman: I wouldn't say it's not important but the final form that we acquire does not cancel the other forms we go through along the way. There are things in practice, in potential and then in practice. So in potential, although we are in the end of correction and everyone is in their rightful place there but in practice we need to go through all these stages in order to reach that shape and then establish it on that.

Student: Anyway, generations of generations after generations of children that are born that don't get to this and don't even know about this?

M. Laitman: It's possible that part of the path humanity is traversing in a way where it doesn't understand where it's at and what it's doing. That's correct but it's not taking away from the correction.

Student: If I could ask a systemic question. Through Torah and Mitzvot we go through correction. What's the connection between this and why do we need two systems here? Let's say ABYA of impurity and ABYA of holiness, and what's the connection between these two and Torah and Mitzvot

M. Laitman: If we are ready to perform corrections in practice, then we go through the system of ABYA and we acquire degrees from ABYA of impurity and we correct them accordingly into ABYA of sanctity.

Student: So this is like a means, the Torah and Mitzvot is a means to move between the two systems?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: And what's the connection between moving from impurity to holiness and the rising in the degrees?

M. Laitman: That's how we climb, that's how we ascend. Each time we receive a greater will to receive from the system of impurity and when we correct it in order to bestow, then we climb up the degrees of the system of sanctity.

Student: [No Translation]

M. Laitman: Relative to the created beings we climb on the left line and then we pass to the right and again to the left and again to the right and that's how we do it from degree to degree in this zigzag.

Student: (15:15) This composition is like a poetic symphony, it's so precise I've been reading it for twenty years and each time I'm impressed again. Intellectually, Baal HaSulam locks you in; it's though it’s the truth, it's clear. On the other hand, the feeling during such a time where a part of the heart is literally in hell, how do we bring these two things together to work because intellectually speaking it's perfection, but the feeling doesn't know what to do with this information? The Creator closes it and says, put your heart aside and how do you add it to the work?

M. Laitman: I can't perhaps clothe myself in your feeling in order to be impressed and to respond also emotionally but that is what the Creator did, and we must go through all those stages of development patiently.

Student: We come here to the lesson. We bring everything we've absorbed throughout the day, we have friends, family members, relatives, people we know who are abducted somewhere, all kinds of things, and now I come here and I hear all these things and it's a feeling of helplessness. We try to raise a prayer and justify everything and see this complete system. On the other hand it seems like there's something that's not resolved. Like what to do with this state, with this feeling?

M. Laitman: Try to reconcile it together with everything else. There's nothing to do. We see the actions of the Creator in that. He brings additional heaviness to each and every one according to the developing soul, and a part of the path we must develop through such actions are inconvenient, uncomfortable, not pretty, that seemingly deviate us from the main path.

Student: We learn that when we read and yearn for these states we probably awaken the Reforming Light. I guess this is the most beneficial action we can do anywhere in humanity and when we're in it, it greatly adds strength and it feels like your prayer is useful. There are moments when the Creator is giving you such states where you're like, well, what am I doing here, you don't believe it. Well, there's power here. There are moments when I find myself feeling ashamed that I even exist. I think I'm awakening the light, I'm saving the world but what am I doing here?

M. Laitman: Well, but that's what we have. We're truly saving the world. That's how we need to understand, to think, to believe. It's extremely necessary and important. There is no work that is higher, more important in this world. Although we ourselves don't add anything new to creation but by wanting to be partners with what's happening to us, by that we are, we continue.

Student: (20:15) I wanted to ask, maybe this is to continue this: What is this time of corruption, time of correction that he's talking about in item 11?

M. Laitman: That each one has a number of actions that he can go through in a corrupted form and also a certain number of actions that he can go through called the time of correction.

Student: What differentiates between this and that? It seems like there's a very sharp transition between the time of correction and corruption. What differentiates between them?

M. Laitman: What separates them is the power of the Creator Who gives them a time for corruption and then a time for correction.

Student: It sounds like from what's written, that during the time of corruption a person attains the will to receive, the body, time, and all that stuff and then there's a certain point where it's supposed to invert, and he's supposed to start working on attaining something, and now he's just going to scrutinize what it is that he's going to attain. Something that he calls pure bestowal?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: I'm trying to understand, what are those thirteen years that a person comes to where now it's a time that things change all of a sudden?

M. Laitman: I'm going to just toss out this thirteen years.

Student: I'm depicting such a thing, that's what I'm trying to understand. What is this time there, something flips, this changes in a person, where now he's working on the correction.

M. Laitman: Each time he is rewarded with correction from the Creator, the Upper Light, it's the same. Then he's moving from the system of corruption to the system of correction, to some extent.

Student: Is a person aware that now he went through some correction? Is it in his awareness, in his consciousness?

M. Laitman: A part of the path, no, another part, yes, like little children. There's a time they don't understand what they're doing, they don't remember it later and the more they grow, the more they understand and they add to themselves, they begin to scrutinize.

Student: (22:45) Who is he talking about here in these items?

M. Laitman: He is talking about a man, a person called an Israeli, someone who has a tendency to reach the recognition of the Creator and that's why he's sensitive to all those actions the Creator is doing on him.

Student: I won't tell you why I'm asking because here he's talking about the souls and the desire?

M. Laitman: What else?

Student: I'm sorry, it's not clear at all, what's the connection between this protein system that we call myself for the sake of it, and all that's written here and how this connects and how mostly this system is probably eternal, or extends many years, or a certain period of time and this system of protein has got a lifespan and passes and then this thing called the soul continues to grow and what's the connection to this thing called myself, this body that I have?

M. Laitman: He wants to explain this to us gradually. So if he, the student will ask, will listen patiently then he will hear and understand.

Student: (24:24) The question he is asking, it sounds so like there's a purpose to it and then there's internality, past, present and future serve as one. How do we sometimes say that there's the sorrow of divinity and there's a person who feels distant from the Creator, needs to think not about his sorrow but the sorrow of the divinity and from the side of the Creator we're delighting Him by hastening the process?

M. Laitman: Here, he's explaining to you the structure of the will to bestow, the will to receive, the different levels, and then he explains to you, not now, but soon, by what do we advance ourselves, add to the process we're going through, using our own strength, our own forces. For the time being we're learning it the way it is. Ask.

Student: (25:50) We learn that in order to identify the good, there needs to be bad and he writes here that in the end the bad disappears, that death will be dissolved forever. So what's that reality where there's no evil? How can there be good if there will be no evil?

M. Laitman: The evil was revealed, the good covered it, and all that canceled it and its ruling alone.

Student: How is that different from the beginning?

M. Laitman: I don't know. I'm not in that future state where only the good rules but the good is revealed on top of the bad.

Student: Another question?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: He writes that reception in order to bestow is called bestowal, like with an important person, that we give to him, it's like receiving. Why do we emphasize that?

M. Laitman: Because we have no way of actually bestowing, only to receive in order to bestow. We are a desire to receive, a will to receive, and we attach the intention to it either in order to receive or in order to bestow.

Student: There's room for confusion around this, yes?

M. Laitman: Confusion, that depends on the person, to what extent he scrutinizes his intention.

Student: (27:25) The desire to receive constantly goes through changes and the person feels those changes. But what does it mean that a person goes through correction? The desire to receive goes through a correction.

M. Laitman: This is the meaning of a person who invited correction is going through the correction.

Student: Is there a complete parallel between what the desire to receive goes through and what a person goes through? Is the person also corrected?

M. Laitman: A person clothes in the corrections of the will to receive.

Student: So if he's clothed in those corrections?

M. Laitman: By that he's showing his similarity to the Creator.

Student: I'm asking this because every time I wake up in the morning, I'm surprised how I have no connection to bestowal.

M. Laitman: Beautiful. It's a sign you had a good night's sleep.

Student: Then I ask, what kind of corrections did I go through in this whole process?

M. Laitman: What do corrections have to do with the night?

Student: No, if after so many years that I'm studying and I get up in the morning and I'm like, I have no connection to bestowal when I wake up in the morning. Sometimes I look for deficiencies, it doesn't interest me at all?

M. Laitman: Each morning, each day we start anew.

Student: So what did I acquire if I wake up so opposite?

M. Laitman: You think you didn't acquire anything but it's not the case.

Student: So how is it? How is it?

M. Laitman: You're not feeling, not truly feeling the good force you've acquired. It's concealed from you each time seemingly. And you receive, you reveal your own evil inclination anew each time.

Student: When can a person say that he really, I don't know how, when does a person really feel that, that's it, he's connected to bestowal, loves the Creator, assimilates to the Creator? When does that happen, that thing?

M. Laitman: It will come when you will stop wanting to make it into a beautiful sum that you have, to fill your little box here.

Student: It's simply..?

M. Laitman: For it to truly be aimed at the benefit of the Creator and not at your benefit. Then you'll be able to feel how you can go and collect these good states together.

Student: (30:20) The Creator prepared two systems for us, one relative to the other through which the souls go through and are divided into two matters, body and soul that are clothed in one another. Are the souls clothed body and soul in one another? What does Baal HaSulam mean in this concept of body and soul, the soul that's the second part?

M. Laitman: It's the spiritual part that clothes in a person and according to the correct actions of a person this part grows and with it, thanks to it, the person is climbing with his body and his soul from degree to degree.

Student: That's the part of ABYA of Kedusha, the soul, and the body is the impurity?

M. Laitman: It's together. Okay.

Student: (31:33) He writes a principle here that reception in order to bestow is called pure bestowal. What is this in order to, that makes reception to bestowal and it's considered in who? Who is supposed to consider this? Is this a trick that a person invents for himself?

M. Laitman: It's a kind of trick. Why do we use receiving in order to receive and receiving in order to bestow? The main thing here is the intention. If it's in order to bestow, then that's pure bestowal.

Student: Who makes that calculation?

M. Laitman: The system.

Student: How? How does a system make a calculation on the intentions of part of the system?

M. Laitman: I guess it's doing it. It's doing it. The world is cascaded and all the degrees and everything according to a person, it's done.

Student: Do we need to search in our actions, actions that are of reception, intentions of bestowal, do we need to teach ourselves to add to them because usually the intention comes and then the action. In the end of an act is in the initial thought and then he does actions. Here it seems like he's doing an action and then he needs to think how to, what's my intention and how do I spin it to that reception to be not for my own benefit?

M. Laitman: Action without an intention is an empty thing. We have to establish our intention and then accordingly to the intention, perform an action, so the action will enter under the intention and not any other way.

Student: When we say the nature of man is the will to receive, is it the desire to receive? Does that not testify to the intention that can be? Can there be within the desire to myself additional intention?

M. Laitman: It could be the will to receive and in order to receive for itself and it's possible that a part of it, a person wants to do with the intention to benefit the Creator.

Student: (34:14) I'll ask a simple question. We learned that the Creator created something that's not in Him, existence from absence?

M. Laitman: The Creator created something that doesn't exist in Him.

Student: He restricted Himself and created a desire to receive? On the other hand we say that in each and every one of us there's a Godly part from above and there's a part of Him. How can there be a connection if He restricted Himself and created something that doesn't exist in Him? On the other hand, each of us has a part of Him. How does that work together?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: He created the desire to receive, He restricted Himself. On the other hand we say there's a part in Him that develops and it's like the Creator?

M. Laitman: The Creator is present everywhere also in the will to receive for itself. It's just not showing its actions. You can’t attain, you can only reveal the Creator in order to receive.

Student: That's a question, how can He be in a place that is opposite to His quality?

M. Laitman: He can. The Creator has no problem to do it.

Student: (35:45) We said today that we had to do something for the benefit of the Creator. What's to do something for the benefit of the Creator? What can I do for His benefit, the little egoist that I am?

M. Laitman: It's like you do a certain action to give pleasure to your mother.

Student: He's in complete rest, He needs something that will delight Him?

M. Laitman: It's not important but what you can do, He cannot do.

Student: But He needs to correct it so that I'll be able to do it?

M. Laitman: No, He created enough qualities in you, the desires, states, that you can do something out of yourself that will give Him pleasure.

Student: That's one of the states that I feel like running away, I don't even feel like being connected to Him in one of those states?

M. Laitman: That's in order for you to correct them.

Student: But then I need to turn to Him and ask from Him?

M. Laitman: Even more correct.

Student: And that's the contentment that I bring to Him? By me turning to Him?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: (37:01) I just heard you answering a friend, that what I can do the Creator can't do. What is that essence, that addition?

M. Laitman: Not that the Creator can't do, He did not do.

Student: So what's the essence of this correction?

M. Laitman: The intention in order to bestow.

Student: I'll spread over the will to receive. Why do we have to go through this whole process, and why did He make it this way?

M. Laitman: I didn't get it.

Student: Why didn't He create me with the intention in order to bestow?

M. Laitman: So you'd get to it by your own will.

Student: So that He can't do?

M. Laitman: He can't. He can't do it.

Student: (37:55) The correction is gradual, right? If we could depict what that state is, that a person feels that he's in separation from his friends, distanced from bestowal, he doesn't tolerate this quality. Compared to that, this against that, meaning he asks and receives correction. What is added now?

M. Laitman: A corrupted and corrected person, what's the difference?

Student: Yes, let's say this one desire that he feels, like he's feeling distanced from the Creator, from the friends, now he asked and received correction. So, this correction, what is it upon?

M. Laitman: Upon those desires he revealed in which he's remote from the friends, because to that extent he's remote from the Creator.

Student: When he corrects, receives that correction, in what way is it expressed relative to the corruption that he had before?

M. Laitman: Responding to the corruption he had before, he's now correcting himself and approaching the Creator by bestowing more and more to them.

Student: Bestowing to the Creator?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: What happens with that proceeding corruption?

M. Laitman: It covers it, slowly.

Student: What is this covering, and what is this gradually?

M. Laitman: The corruption that He made, that He created, how can I speak about it conveniently, this corruption is covered in corrections.

Student: Let's move this to feelings. A person feels distant, he feels like everything is broken up, there's no Creator, nothing. He understands that this state comes to him so that he will turn to the Creator and ask for correction and closeness and connection with them?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: Now what?

M. Laitman: Now he first needs to reveal that if he does not turn to the Creator properly, in the correct form, the correct quantity, that he will never reach correction. He has to see to what extent his correction has to be full, complete, whole and then he remembers all his desires, all his actions, everything he did seemingly against the Creator. And when he sees all his corruptions, he receives the power of correction and he can bring the screen on top of all those corruptions that he carried out earlier.

Student: I understand that the correction in our state is not gradual but it's cumulative to include all of its corrections.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: And then upon that maybe he has the first correction?

M. Laitman: The corrections come not right away, they accumulate.

Student: Meaning in our state when we discover distance from the friends and we want to correct them, so what happens?

M. Laitman: A person needs to understand, to feel, to reveal. He's looking at all the errors, mistakes, transgressions he made toward the friends and toward everyone in general and then he begins to correct them.

Student: But at a certain point in time he doesn't feel all his corruptions?

M. Laitman: No, this is revealed not right away. A part of it right away and a part gradually.

Student: For the time being, when we're making this request in our state, where not all the corruptions have been revealed, our request is not for all the corruptions. What is called that we are coming close, that we did ask correctly?

M. Laitman: To the extent it's revealed to us that we're opposite from the desire to bestow to the Creator, to that extent we can ask for correction and that is according to our degree, not more than that. That's why it will be revealed on two legs, left and right, left and right, two feet.

Student: (43:51) What do we add to the system of creation?

M. Laitman: We add to the system of creation all of our actions. This is the meaning of inserting the soul into it, the desire to receive and the intention to bestow.

Student: What does this contribute to the whole system of creation?

M. Laitman: The entire system of creation receives its livelihood, Godliness, it is moving itself from in order to receive and it approaches in order to bestow and it adds an intention that depends entirely on us.

Student: Does something change in general in the whole system of creation or is it only in our feeling?

M. Laitman: It changes throughout the entire system of creation. This is the meaning of acquiring a soul.

Student: Last question: In what are we partners with the Creator?

M. Laitman: By invoking the correction after we feel the corruption and we reveal the Creator as the original cause for the corruptions and for the corrections.

Student: (45:18) He says here in item 12 that the Creator created actually, systems, a system of impurity and a system of Kedusha, for the desire to receive and then came to a state of body and soul that clothe in one another. Then he says that through Torah and Mitzvot, in the end they form the desire to receive like the desire to bestow etc.. What is that creation called Torah and Mitzvot? We always talk about Him creating the desire to receive but then we also say, I've created the evil incarnation, I've created the Torah as a spice. What is this Torah?

M. Laitman: It's a system that limits the will to receive to some extent. The will to receive that is gradually changing from degree to degree and together with that system of light, the light that we can invite and we can bring in, it can radiate the Upper Force, the force of the Creator onto our actions.

Student: Why is it called creation of its own?

M. Laitman: Because it doesn't belong to the creation of man, of the world. It's a system we're using.

Student: What's that point of contact made between these two things? There's the desire to receive, it's clear, it's like raw material and then it works with the intention in order to receive and discover that it's not good for it there and then it wants to work with the intention in order to bestow. That's kind of like a certain system on its own. He says until thirteen years, after thirteen years, there's some process that he goes through, and there's a system called Torah and Mitzvot which operates upon that system. How is that contact taking place between those two things?

M. Laitman: Torah and Mitzvot, Torah and commandments, it's a system that expands out broadly from the Creator to us and it runs parallel to the system of the worlds, it builds Partzufim, Sefirot.

Student: Is it a system of bestowal? A system of what?

M. Laitman: It's a system that we can use in order to correct ourselves.

Student: How is there contact between something that is so foul, like the desire to receive in its form and Torah and Mitzvot which is completely opposite? It seems like two opposite matters. How is there even contact between them?

M. Laitman: We don't belong to the bad things, the terrible things you're thinking of if we're not in them. You could say on a baby that it's entirely corrupted. Then what? I don't know how to explain it better.

Student: It's also not clear, because the baby has genes and according to those genes  there's a certain program. Maybe even if he works it will work on him. His body will develop a certain way in his mind etc.. Here there's this system of the desire to receive that was created that's clear and another system of Torah and Mitzvot that is supposed to operate upon it and help it perform that correction. I'm asking, how is that contact created between these two systems?

M. Laitman: By the will to receive.

Student: How can he feel something that's opposite to him, or to even want it?

M. Laitman: First of all the fact that there is contact, connection, that does not depend on him, it doesn't depend on a person; rather this connection exists from the beginning of creation until the end of creation.

Student: Let's say we should want Torah and Mitzvot, we should want the light to operate upon us?

M. Laitman: Some say, you know how it goes, it's written somewhere but when a person comes to a state where he truly wants to correct himself and this is only to the extent that he feels that it's harming him, then this is the place of war. It doesn't invite the Torah and Mitzvot to just be good and receive a reward but to rise above the reward.

Student: But this is also an action of Torah and Mitzvot upon a person.

M. Laitman: Yes, of course. Eventually, ultimately the Creator does everything.

Student: So maybe a last question on this matter, because maybe systemically it's different. When we come to the lesson, you wake up, everything's erased, and you come here and what happens here in the lesson, in this contact with this thing called Torah and Mitzvot?

M. Laitman: Through the lesson, you absorb something of what's going on here when you're here. The main thing is from the connection between you and owing to this connection, the Upper Light can appear more compared to how it shines in the form of surrounding light, and you receive this illumination because this illumination comes from the connection between you, it also works on you in order to bring you to true connection in your desires and it connects you together into a system. This system is operated on by this light that was working, and you get this small system that you attained during the study, with the inner light in it, in that system, and that's how you advance. So, there's personal work for each one in this advancement and also your collective work. Individual work you do everywhere, except for the study hall and in the study hall, when we come here, you somehow get incorporated into one another.

Student: (53:21) It’s written that the correction is through Torah and Mitzvot. Torah, through the light in it reforms and Mitzvot, commandments, how do the commandments correct the nature of a person?

M. Laitman: Where a person has Torah, meaning the force to overcome the desire to receive and perform actions in order to bestow, then when he performs these actions in order to bestow it's called that he is doing a Mitzvot, the commandments.

Student: Meaning, we'll always combine Torah and Mitzvot together or..?

M. Laitman: No, first the Torah. When a person knows how to use the force of the Torah, then he's capable of performing the Mitzvot, the commandments. Okay?

Student: (54:24) Following all the scrutinies, we are going through all kinds of states during the day, we're in a relaxed state and a second later it becomes everything different. Like you said, it's a frightened rabbit. You're doing this work, you're trying to attach it to the Creator and you go back to the normal state before, from before. The question is: What is that state where you are seemingly thrown out, or this really shaking state but you're holding the Creator and you manage to justify Him? What is that process a person is going through?

M. Laitman: He goes through such processes and learns something from them until he connects it to the Upper Source and makes the descents into ascents.

Student: When the state comes there's the external clothing of the state and there's the internality of the state. How do we operate correctly in order to take from the external clothing, which is imaginary, seemingly, and take it into the internal correction you have to do?

M. Laitman: To the extent in which we're connected to our connection, towards our goal where we connect even more, even though we're not in it yet and this is how we advance.

Student: Each friend is going through states in the Ten. The question is: How do they do it together? It's felt like each one has his own situation, he's dealing with each time anew but..?

M. Laitman: If we want to do these actions together; the Creator does it.

Student: Earlier I heard you say that a person invites the correction and he receives the correction. What does it mean to invite a correction?

M. Laitman: Well, it depends on what state he's in.

Student: In the state where he's being thrown out, as we described, like this frightened rabbit, is this the state where he needs to order, to call in the correction?

M. Laitman: Well, let's say.

Student: You said in the lesson, we're building a vessel here. In order for this vessel, for the system that we're building here to be more powerful, what does it rely on, in terms of the work of each and every friend during the day?

M. Laitman: The Creator arranges that for us. Through the inclinations of each towards correction He connects and arranges for us somehow, a special place that we're in.

Student: During the correct work in the Ten, during the day, every friend is doing work, he's overcoming states, then when we get to the lesson, the morning lesson, the efforts he put in while overcoming during the day, the addition of all the efforts of all the friends is what is helping build the common vessel during the lesson?

M. Laitman: Every knowledge, every pressure that we do advances. No, okay, well.

Student: (58:38) A person, an average person from the street, what kind of reality does he feel?

M. Laitman: You're also a regular person from the street, so what are you asking?

Student: Okay, so what kind of reality are we feeling?

M. Laitman: We feel the reality that we're in, in this world, and we are making efforts to emerge from this world to a higher degree.

Student: What he's writing here sounds imaginary, maybe technical also, but what's the connection between the reality that we are feeling right now and what he's writing about? What's the first point you can latch onto and begin to feel what..?

M. Laitman: If we yearn for connection, then through that yearning we move from one state to the next and advance that way. What we're missing is just the connection between us.

Student: Is that faith? What will turn this system into a reality for me?

M. Laitman: That we want to connect between us both during the descent and during the ascent and in all the states.

Student: In the connection between us we'll begin to feel the worlds and everything?

M. Laitman: Yes, yes, yes, only in that connection. It will be a new Kli, a new place that we can discover.

Student: What is this vessel of connection, what is it called? A soul, what is he writing about?

M. Laitman: The Kli of connection is called the soul in its internality and in its externality what we call world.

Student: In this vessel you begin to feel the degrees, with everything?

M. Laitman: Yes, everything you start to feel is in that Kli. Yes. Wonderful, well friend, what's with you?

Question Kyiv One: (01:01:16) Following your words, the vessel in its internality is called the soul and in its externality is called the worlds. What does it mean in the Ten? To what extent these definitions should clothe in, so internally will be like the soul and externally like the worlds?

M. Laitman: That's through the exercises that the Creator arranges for us we will reach such a state in which our internal connection will be as one soul and our external connection will appear to us as one world that we're in.

Student: What is internal connection and external connection?

M. Laitman: Our internal connection is where we are connecting in our hearts, and the external connection of ours will be as we connect, let's say our external vessels.

Student: Still, what are those external vessels? How to score it, or prioritize it in our work in connection?

M. Laitman: Maybe I don't know how to say it, but these are vessels with which I operate inside of me, within me, and external are what I depict in the external world around me.

Question Turkiye 3: (01:03:17) How can a person be included in the system that is changing the will to receive to the will to receive with an intention to bestow so he would reach strong adhesion with the Creator?

M. Laitman: A person feels himself in a certain state towards the society and he wants to adhere to it because in such a way he can reach his next degree. If he does all the actions that he's capable of in order to connect to the friends he raises himself to a higher degree and there, too he feels himself and the society in degree number two, and there too, he's working in such a way that he connects with himself to the friends, adheres to them, is incorporated in them, is nullified towards them and this raises him to an even higher degree. This is how a person goes through the degrees.

Question Holland: (01:05:04) Was there a state that the will to receive was not corrupted?

M. Laitman: No. We need to say that yes that the Creator created the desire to receive and although this desire to receive was a desire to receive delight and pleasure but this was not yet prohibited and therefore there was no corruption.

Student: When did it become corrupted?

M. Laitman: We learned that. When he wrote until thirteen years and there he explains the degrees, the corruptions that are revealed.

Student: So it's only in our revelation actually.

M. Laitman: Yes, of course it depends on the revelation of the vessel.

Student: Actually there's nothing, everything is already whole, so there's actually nothing to add or to correct, only our own perception of reality?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Question ITA 1: (01:06:56) What does it mean that the body and soul clothe in one another? Do they refer to two forms by which you can interpret reality?

Question Kyiv 3: (01:08:55) [No Translation from Russian]

M. Laitman: We're always drawing the Reforming Light upon ourselves, in every gathering, in every lesson, in every meeting between us. We just need to grow, to intensify the connection between us in our demand for new connection.

Student: I don't know how long, maybe two years, since we started to actively compose a prayer together with the World Kli. It's a very strong action but within the framework of dissemination we said that we draw the light using prayer but if we engage in dissemination, we don't always recall that we need to turn to the Creator before or even after the act. The action of dissemination itself, does it draw the Reforming Light?

M. Laitman: Dissemination is the most beneficial action towards correction after the lesson.

Question MAK 4: (01:10:35) In order to connect with the system and to be in the intention of giving, do we need to feel the desire of our friends?

Question Moscow 1: (01:11:18). All the states and all the forms until the end of correction, will they remain in their original form?

M. Laitman: No. The desire to receive changes within him or by himself as the light fills him, fills the corrected desire. It, too, is felt differently.

Student: Meaning, if someone already made a certain correction, went through a certain form of correction, then everything else is easier for them?

M. Laitman: Yes.

M. Laitman: To where? To the sixth sense? That's to think about bestowal and that's how you will gradually come closer to it.

Question MAK 25: (01:13:33) Good morning, you answered the friend that if a person won't ask appropriately from the Creator, he may never reach the end of correction. How to ask appropriately, correctly?

M. Laitman: First of all, together with the friends. And then you will see in what way together with them you can advance and ask more and more. Okay. We've answered all the questions. We can finish this part with this. So what else do we have?
