Preparation for Convention: “Life in the Ten”

1. S. (00:30) Do you feel it coming closer, the state that we are coming towards?

R. I feel it in many friends and there is already a certain kind of unquiet, unsettled feeling in this matter, and questions are coming to me as well. Although I am completely not associated with the organization of it, the order of it, yes, I do feel it. Besides that, it seems to me that the convention is happening is taking place in the right state. Humanity, the states, the countries, and the people are in states that are not so settled, to say the least, and therefore it is good that we are doing a convention because the convention, after all, is the connection that will take place by it will bring a good shock to the world.

2. S. (02:03) What is our main purpose in this congress?

R. There are several goals. Our inner goal is for our friends to unite even more and be able to be impressed and pass on to one another. This is like when there is a disease where we are contagious, it is the opposite but when we are passing along some like infecting each other to one another in this way, in a good way. We are all catching it, and it is like we remember that we thought this way about our previous states, also before Covid, yes. That is actually what I wanted to say, that as far as I'm concerned you guys are truly in a degree that is before entering Lishma and let us hope that we will make our final stage, the final step maybe, in this convention, and we will continue.

3. S. (03:44) What positive shock can we cause in this congress in the connection between us?

R. To ourselves we can bring forth by the convention an inner shock in the world Bnei Baruch group, we can cause the development of the rumor of what we are talking about, about connection which is necessary throughout all the parts of the world, and I really hope that this will have this impact.

4. S. (04:43) There are friends that are afraid that after the Congress it will get worse. Maybe it will be better spiritually but, in the world, even much worse can happen.

R. That can't be that it'll be worse because of the convention. That's all together, one thing has nothing to do with it. We can only bestow upon the world in a better way, we can cause the world more stability and a higher pace in its development, and that is it.

5. S. (05:26) Why are you connecting between the state of the world and the congress?

R. It has an impact. It is a huge force, a very concentrated united force around the globe that there is no state, and there is no continent that is outside of our general group which is why we are certainly bestowing upon it.

6. S. (06:03) How can the Congress help us, Bnei Baruch, enter Lishma?

R. There are two levels in the convention, an internal one and an external one. The external one is that we want to cause all the people in the world, as much as they are different, hear or do not hear, to cause them movement towards connection, towards nearing, and also at least by this convention this atmosphere, these waves that flow from one side of the world to the other, we can cause those that are not in it to somewhat hear about it, feel it, and advance that way. Nevertheless, the state that is after the convention will be much better than today.

7. S. (07:28) You mentioned Covid before the germ that spread over the world, so what is the germ that we have to pass to one another between us?

R. The germ of love, of love.

8. S. (07:43) How to prepare ourselves for such a congress? How to extract the maximum we can from it?

R. Whoever is with us permanently, regularly, in lessons and belongs to a Ten and to the meetings that are taking place there with the Ten, I think that that is enough, it advances people.

9. S. (08:28) In this congress we have to aim to do it in order to balance the world, or to aim ourselves towards connection between us?

R. To aim ourselves towards connection within us which will cause connection and balance throughout the world.

10. S. (09:00) The topic is life in the Ten.

R. Yes.

S. Why in the Ten do we enter Lishma?

R. It is written in many places. I don't really need to even explain this, that the Ten is the correct form of connection in humanity. That is why when we connect to the Tens and want this great connection of tens, hundreds, of Tens to come to this connection then by this we also influence one another. Then it turns out that each Ten receives great pressure, very big pressure from outside of them, and this advances them towards the general connection.

11. S. (10:29) In the congress will be hundreds of Tens around the world that will be in one effort constantly, so what is this step that every Ten can take in order to use the congress and enter Lishma?

R. To simply be with us, to be together with us, by this already we reach a great force.

12. S. (11:06) Can a person himself enter Lishma or is it always through a Ten?

R. A person alone. What do you mean to enter a Ten?

S. No, enter Lishma. Can a personal person just do this or it is work that only happens through a Ten?

R. Usually it happens only through the Ten. A person altogether grows in spirituality only through the Ten. We can see this from the Kabbalistic writings.

13. S. (11:46) What gives the Ten, what does a full day in a congress give a Ten? We will be more than 12 hours straight together, lessons, meals, two full days. What does such an effort give to a Ten?

R. This lets a person incorporate with the general force of the world Kli, Bnei Baruch, which is tens and tens of groups and Tens, men, women, as we all want to be connected. And we all invest in this a lot of power and time from our individual lives and therefore I can say that you deserve it, to enter the group that feels the Creator and that somewhat is managed, comes closer, distances, turns it for each and every Ten it already is deserving to enter into connection with the Creator. This actually needs to be the result, the correct beautiful result from the convention.

14. S. (14:11) Every Ten will sit in their own circle, also in the preparation, also in the lesson itself, and the meals will be spread together but how do we use this force of all Tens? Where is that connection at least in the congress between a private Ten and all of the Tens in the Kli?

R. We need to define the connection between each Ten and all the Tens in the convention such that we will feel the precise internal state of each Ten and how it changes.

15. S. (15:12) I talked to a friend who has been in a descent for a long time already. He was in dozens of congresses with us, and he says that I never got a result in all these congresses so probably in this Congress, I won't either, get a result, but I am willing to come for the friends. Is that the right approach?

R. Yes, that's for the good too. Even if you ask military people throughout the generations why they came to divide them into platoons, brigades, and smaller groups, a person cannot battle with something he cannot hold onto, that he cannot grip, that he cannot grasp. Therefore, his group is something that he can digest and be together with and contain within his meeting with the Creator, each of his personal independent points, therefore, this is how we need to prepare ourselves.

S. If a person doesn't expect anything and he only comes for the friends, just to be present because he knows that we'll support him, is that enough?

R. Yes, yes. Not each person has some thought and tendency and drive for the upper force, but whoever is next to him, if he understands that he is holding the friend and that the friend holds him that is enough. Love your friend as yourself is the great rule of the Torah.

16. S. (17:34) What can we tell a person who wants results, he wants results and he’s not getting them for tens of years?

R. The results he didn’t receive throughout thousands of years, all of humanity, and what they connected and what they composed and wrote it is all external results. We want the internal result which is for each to feel in this life connection through the friends to the Creator and let us really hope that this is happening. We are advancing through this. Only in the manner of advancement, there are ascents, descents, there are all kinds of even little accidents, yes, that we nevertheless come out of, we move onwards and onwards, and everything is ahead of us, everything is before us.

17. S. (19:15) How can we draw the light and clothe it in mercy to receive it in a good way and not in suffering? Does it depend on us or on the world's preparation?

Therefore, I'm addressing the women to say that we need to strengthen this part of the Kli, just as it is customary in our organization it is all equal and we are making the same effort and exertion for both the men and women.

18. S. (21:33) You said that a person has to be adhered to the Ten and through them raise his deficiency. Now there are a lot of questions to ask about that, is that the only way to raise a deficiency through the Ten, or maybe there are more ways, maybe we can pray along, ask, speak, imagine I don't know?

R. There's the prayer of the individual and the prayer of the many. The prayer of the Ten is called the prayer in the Minyan, in the Ten, it is the optimal prayer.

S. How can a friend take his deficiency and pass it through the Ten, what is that?

R. That is not something we can explain right now.

S. Is it something we should scrutinize, maybe even in the congress, it is complex. Also, the answer a person has to receive is through a Ten?

R. Yes, always. Through the Ten he raises his lack and through the Ten he receives the answer. 

19. S. (22:48) After all the exertion we are asking the Creator for a miracle to change our nature and connect us. How does a congress bring us closer to this miracle, how does this mechanism work?

R. A convention because it is convening, it's a connection, it has much more power than an individual and therefore it brings us closer to corrections, to several multiples that each and every one of us cannot do alone.

20. S. (23:28) There are congresses that are coming without a Ten and the congress is intense, so what do you recommend? Let us say there are students that study with us for many years but they are in circles that do not come here and some of them are interested in coming and some aren't, is it better for them to stay together and watch it virtually or should they come here as individuals and join the gathering?

R. I don't know. We have organizers. They will give an update.
