Passover - Selected Excerpts from the Sources. (Moses - I Mashitihu [pulled him] from the water #148)

1.Rav’s Introduction: Yes, Moses this is a force that exists inside each and every one of us however he is hidden, he is not felt and we need to work in order to awaken it. A force that will pull us to connection, to in order to bestow, to exiting our ego, it exists inside each one and we need to connect these small forces that exist inside of each and every one, these weak forces until it will be truly a great force and it will show us how to come out from Egypt to freedom, to the Creator. Because there are only two states, and there is nothing in the middle, well there is temporarily, but this is not considered a state of its own. There is the state of the control of the force of the ego, the force of the will to receive, and the control of the will to bestow and we should constantly try to check ourselves where are we?

In the transition by being drawn in the direction, in the disposition to shift from the will to receive to the will to bestow, this is where it's called Moses, the force that directs us, arranges us, corrects us and leads us to the goal. It exists inside of each and every one at all times and in all the different states, as it says that the force of Moses exists in every generation and this is how we advance. That's it, so let's get into the excerpts and let's study. We are advancing with a good pace, and we are studying what we need to, we're not falling behind. Let's advance, it's desirable throughout the day, also more and more we will feel the process that we are all going through, all of us, the emphasis is on all of us.

Excerpt 148 (03:15)

2. R. (03:54) This is what we need to feel that we are now drowning inside our ego which is called evil water and how can we come out of it? It is only through all of these questions of who and what, what for, why, is it worthwhile or not worthwhile, all of these scrutinies. By scrutinizing them between us, and seeing how much the correct scrutiny brings us together, it connects us, it builds from us, from the separate and foreign desires into one desire which is directed. This is considered that the force of Moses grows stronger in us. This is how we prepare ourselves to the Exodus from Egypt, to running away from Egypt.

3. S. (04:59) You say that Moses is a force within the person?

R. Yes, Moses is the force inside of a person that we need to build it, to scrutinize it, to develop it, to cultivate it, it does not exist in an apparent manner as it is written that we have to bring him out of the water. It exists there in the evil water in the Nile, and in that way we then make this force greater out of the connection between us. Moses belongs to everyone, he's not in each and everyone. But rather each and every one can aim himself that he wants to find his Moses but actually as much as we feel ourselves, that we are connected and we want to exit together towards a single goal, then more and more we feel this common force called Moshe, Moses.

S. Exactly, because you said we have to aim towards all of us, not towards me.

R. Yes, because otherwise we don't discover Moses. Moses this is already a force that becomes clear in us, becomes revealed in us when we all want to exit when our whole exit is from Egypt it is that we want to reach connection. What is the difference between Egypt and the land of Israel? Being in exile or being in redemption, it is only the matter of connection. Only connection. The Arvut, that we learned from this article The Arvut, so now when we are going to implement it ,this is the force that helps us to stitch out of ourselves a single desire. This is called Moses.

S. So to understand the concept of Moses there is Moses in the person, in the ten, in all of us?

R. Yes but for the implementation of this force is when we connect. Just like in general at-large the whole matter of the Exodus from Egypt, from the separation, which is the egoistic force that rules us, that dwells between us to the force of connection. When the Creator dwells between us the Shechina and Moses is what makes this transition for us from separation to connection.

S. Now in the lesson when we learned about Moses we perceive what the world kli force in the world?

R. Yes, that we are the pioneers, the avant garde out of the general world wide force that we want to connect to everyone, all the nations of the world, the representatives from all the nations of the world. In short those who understand the importance of the correction of the world and want to take part in that. This is how we need to depict it, that state.

S. So to come out of the circle of my ten to the broader circle of the world Kli?

R. Without exiting that I add more correctly, I join my ten the whole world. I propose that you think throughout the day, that you aim ourselves to live in that state, that we are in it, that this state should be revealed in us and it should pull us and will change us. We exist in a state where we are very much worthy of connection between us, the beginning of the connection between us at least the beginning of the connection between us and being drawn out of this egoistic world from separation to connection.

4. S. (09:43) The point in the heart discovers this force on the condition that it nullifies before the ten?

R. Annulment before the ten that is already a result. For the time being we need to discover that we have an inclination towards that, annulment that's already a state, but before the state we have to have an inclination to reach that state. In that we already discover that beginning of Moses, the force of Moses, the force that pulls us from the word Moshech, pulling that he pulls us from the evil water, from all kinds of egoistic desires and intentions, to desires and intentions where we do agree, to some extent, to come closer to each other. Not yet to connect but not yet to be truly together as one man with one heart but somehow with the disposition to come closer. More correctly we will depict our state that it's only the beginning, it will be easier for us because the correction we also have to suffer it, to go through it, we are still the opposite of it.

5. S. (11:18) A few weeks ago I went through a state that wasn't easy, I felt regression and then decline in great difficulty in corporeality and also and spirituality and I turn to a friend, a woman from the path and I told her what am I going to do I feel like I'm going to be ejected out, I feel terrible. She said don't turn to me, turn to your ten. So I wrote to the ten and I told them I'm in a tough state, what are we going to do? What should I do? Each one of them wrote a prayer that things will work out and I just want to share with all the friends the next morning I felt that everything went away. It is as if I had new forces, new energies and this connection, this love that they gave me it brought me to a new day and new things. So I simply would like that the friends will know that they can be assisted by the ten, the ten can take them forward, it was important for me to share this with all the tens.

R. Okay it's good to hear and we're happy that you found a method for how to come out.

6. S. (13:00) We like the ten do we need to think about the pulling out of Moses that we get to that place, that state?

R. Before the Exodus from Egypt we need to feel that we are in Egypt and it is impossible to feel something except through its opposite, as the advantage of light out of darkness, this is the rule. Therefore if we want to feel that we are in captivity, we are in Egypt, then we can do it on the condition that we very, very much want to come out of Egypt. Then opposite that, we will feel how much we are in it and we are ruled by our ego but it doesn't let us come out, this is Pharaoh, who doesn't let us come out. We nevertheless resist him, and we do want it and then in this struggle between the force of Moses in each one, against the force of Pharaoh in each one then we can be drawn towards connection between us and the connection between us is actually that point of exiting the present egoistic world to the spiritual world.

7. S. (14:50) How's the force of Moses at this stage different from all the forces that pushed us before, there is always a force that pushes us forward towards the ten, why specifically Moses?

R. This is what we need to study from these excerpts that we have before us, mostly Moses explains to us from all the states that we go through at this time in the boundary, the border of exiting Egypt. As we get closer to the exodus he explains to us what exactly we had in Egypt, in what way Pharaoh was ruling us and holding on to us, and what is the force of Moses that pulls us out of Egypt, that helps us to exit our ego. It is truly a new birth.

There is nothing like that. In the whole of reality, the spiritual or the corporeal, like the Exodus from Egypt because it is what we call the replacement of the Malchuyiot, the Kingship, the replacement of the control within the person. When a person start to feel that he can think, he can want and depict to himself that there is a new life, a different life, a life beyond death which is the will to receive. It is something that we cannot keep to ourselves so if we reach a state where this becomes a bit clear to us, this is already considered that Moses is born within us and he pulls us. Thanks to that we can be connected as one man with one heart as much as this becomes revealed and this is how we prepare ourselves to the transition from the self, the me of each one to we, us.

8. S. (19:21) Can we see Moses in our common faith in the one who leads us in the sources?

R. Yes, but we need to be connected around this Moses, the force that unites us and to the extent that we do unite, then we rise above our ego, and he pulls us forward. Moses is the force that comes from above, from the Creator. We feel that he starts to be established between us, inside of us, as a result of our disposition towards connection, to our annulment each one before the ten. In that way when we reach the force of mutual responsibility then we discover this common force between us which is called Moses, and it pulls us from the separation between us that we were not able to overcome it, so we didn't want to and we were not able to, to a state where we do want it to some extent and accordingly to some extent we're able to be connected. Then in the beginning of this connection we start to discover the exit from the world of separation, this egoistic world to a world of connection, the altruistic world. In that way we come out from Egypt. This is actually the process.

Excerpt 149 (19:25)

9. R. (20:11) This means that we need to receive the force of faith, the force of faith is the force of Bina that helps us to rise, to elevate ourselves above our will to receive, and in this way to reach in order to bestow. So this force that helps us to emerge from Malchut to Bina from the ego of each one to bestow, the force that pulls us is the force of Moses, this is why he's called the loyal shepherd. It is the force that helps us, that is devoted to us and it does this for us and this is how we advance.

Excerpt 150 (21:04)

10. S. (21:56) Moses and faith are the same thing?

R. Moses is a quality and when it dresses in person then this force exists in a person and it helps him rise above his ego. When a person starts to prefer the force of the bestowal, faith, the force of Bina that awakens in him over the force of Malchut, the force of reception that exists inside of him this is called the revelation of Moses.

S. It's like faith above reason Moses?

R. Yes yes, later we will see there is a difference between the two but this is how it is.

11. S. (22:42) Is there a connection between Pharaoh's daughter and our understanding of the importance of correction of the nations of the world?

R. We didn't discuss that, which is why I am not answering you. You should be with us in the same desires, the same thoughts and the same scrutinies. This is what I tell everyone the question could be a good one but it's not in the right place.

12. S. (23:27) Before you told me that Moses is the force that replaces one Malchut for another now you say…?

R. It's the same thing, it's Malchut with Malchut or Malchut with Bina, it's written that the whole exodus from Egypt is about the enslavement of the Malchuyiot, the Kingships, the only difference between this world and the next world is the enslavement of Malchuyiot, plural of Malchut what does it mean? That the force of the will to receive Malchut in order to receive for one's own benefit now becomes for the benefit of others, in order to bestow. It's like between Malchut and Bina that we always exist only in Malchut. However it depends on which intention this Malchut belongs to when it rules us it's either in order to receive or either to bestow.

S. How can we imagine to ourselves that this force comes to the ten and we have like Malchut of Bina, what is that?

R. Well, if you cling to the friends and you want to be inside of them and it doesn't matter which degrees they are, where they are, with which desires and thoughts. Just like Rabbi Yossi ben Kisma, how to be incorporated inside of his small students and through that he was able to rise to spiritual degrees. This is how it is with each and everyone. Each one has a group that exists inside of all of our groups, it is a great important public and the Creator dwells in it and we just need to open up the heart of each and every one of us and then for sure we will succeed.

S. According to the excerpt it says that we need to ask the Creator for the force, the quality of faith in the Creator, what exactly do we ask for?

R. We want to receive from the Creator, we have no one else from whom to receive there is no other force, the same source that created us and it created us in the will to receive, we now want that he will add to the will to receive of each and every one which he created. That he will also add to it the force of Bina the desire to bestow and then we will have in each one of us, those who will ask and will receive. They will also have both the force of reception and the force of bestowal two forces and in between two forces a person will feel that he exists. Then it will open up to him between his Malchut and Bina the ability to exist, to feel to understand, what is it mean Egypt is Malchut and what is it mean the land of Israel which is Bina inside of him then he will depict correctly to himself where he is and accordingly he will have the direction towards what to yearn, which force to make greater.

S. So it turns out that I ask the one who I don't have faith in?

R. So what, yes, but you don't have no one to turn to. Don't dwell into all of these definitions so that each and every word must be in its right place, right, gradually along the way you will see these laws in the right way because they become revealed inside of your vessels and those change all the time.

13. S. (28:14) As we know Moses sent watchmen, observers to the land of Israel before they entered so they would check and if land of Israel is safe they will enter, so the question is internally what does it mean?

R. Our desires to receive that constantly wonder and they try to look for work and they get some fulfillment, they are called the spies within the person.

S. But there is no faith, it is the left line that wants to know?

R. I don't want to get into all of these scrutinies yet because this will now bring us confusion. I am going in a methodical way step-by-step, that's it, it's not left line or there are many details. Don't jump into questions where we don't yet understand how much we are not yet in them. Let us locate these forces within us, where is Malchut, where is Bina, where is the land of Israel, where is the land of Egypt? How can we locate the way inside of each and every person and in the relations between us, that this is all about the relationships between people whether I'm now in the land of Israel or in Egypt or on the way from one to the other, in which state I need to change my self with respect to the friends so that the relations between us, which are called Egypt, will invert and be called the land of Israel. This is what we need to depict to ourselves.

S. What I wanted to ask was that will to receive wants to know if it will be able to receive pleasure in bestowal, so the will to receive is thinking, am I going to receive joy in bestowal, is everything going to be good in bestowal. So I felt that these are spies we want to check to know if it is a safe zone, so how can you leave this perception of insecurity of the will to receive?

R. You are right. The direction of your thought is a correct one, yes. This is how you should advance. You can answer, ask, your questions are correct and this will bring you there, we are all going towards that and certainly a person even if it's not so clear to him what he is asking but he is always asking about pleasure. It is either his pleasure is in this that he will feel himself or that he will feel his pain or he will feel his Creator. There are only these three degrees, three points, me, the group and the Creator.

14. S. (32:20) When you are against this wall with the ten is one qualitative revolution sufficient when you receive it from the Creator?

R. In each and every state that we go through there are many states and scrutinies and it depends on the root of the soul of a person and therefore we have to continue. Simply to continue and as much as the scrutinies may seem to us that they repeat themselves, and they do not end, we nevertheless need to realize that there is no such thing that repeats but rather each and every scrutiny it is called a penny and a penny joins to a great amount and this is how we nevertheless advance and there is nothing that was there before and now it comes back and repeats.

S. What is the moment that what does it mean in haste, in surprise? How do we keep feeling this suffering and then suddenly this transformation happens?

R. The Exodus from Egypt, it is sudden and it actually happens to a person in a state where he doesn't feel it in advance, this is how it happens and we need to aspire for this all the time. Realize that this depends on the collective desire of the group and the upper desire, the Creator's desire.

15. S. (34:30) The force of Moses that appears in the person in every level or that it comes and changes something for eternity in the person?

R. The force of Bina the force of bestowal that a person receive that elevates him above the will to receive to the force of faith, the force of Bina, which is above the force of Malchut, the force the reception this is called faith above reason the force of Bina above the force of Malchut, the force of bestowal above the force of reception, this gives the person a new quality which he did not have before. He is seemingly a new creature. In our world we have only the will to receive on the degrees of the still, vegetative and animate, this is in order to receive and in the spiritual world we have only the will to bestow which is above the will to receive. As much as our desire to receive grows more and more, the still, vegetative and animate in the person are greater and greater.

As it says one who is greater than his friend his inclination is greater. The more a person grows his will to receive grows but also the will to bestow above the will to receive, it also grows so it turns out that a person becomes greater and greater and he works with both of these desires. Both with the coarseness, the will to receive and also with his refinement meaning with restriction, screen and reflected light which are intentions to bestow so he works with both of these forces, one against the other.

S. Just refinement, the appearance of Moses happens between one degree to another or it starts at a certain stage?

R. Moses who pulls the person from in order to receive to bestow he is revealed in the first time and what we call the Exodus from Egypt where he crosses the border from reception to bestowal and afterwards as it says Moses exists in each and every generation. In every progress we make, every step that we take, the force of Moses within us grows upon the force of reception that grows. It is considered that the people of Israel come out of Egypt, when they come out of Egypt they take with them, the whole treasure of Pharaoh. Everything that is in Egypt they took it from there. This is what the Haggadah, the Passover story tells us and we later on work on top of all of these desires to receive that we had in order to receive which is called Egypt, we correct them gradually until we correct all of them and this is how we reach the end of correction.

16. S. (38:33) How do we come to a true yearning to awaken the force of Moses if we don't really feel or never experienced this, how can we imagine this to ourself, this force of Moses?

R. On the one hand what the mind doesn't do time does, meaning that over time by a small illumination on the person from above, desires to receive accumulate and inclinations to bestow accumulate and that's how we advance. Because the upper light that works on us, and each time appears more and more, on the one hand it increases in us the will to receive and on the other hand it does that by its nature which is bestowal. Then we feel that we are comprised of two forces, on the one hand the force of reception, on the other the force of bestowal and then we just need to increase the force of bestowal within us by connection between us, by studying, by the prayer and then we come to the state where the force of bestowal begins to be more and more powerful. To the point that it determines our shift, our exit from in order to receive to in order to bestow and this is already the boundary between Egypt and Israel.

17. S. (40:43) In one of the lessons yesterday or the day before you asked at the end of the lesson whether we are ready for the Exodus from Egypt. Truly feels like there is a desire from this desire however it is seemingly hard to believe that it can happen. What is the quality of Moses in that state?

R. First of all certainly it can't happen, no one can imagine this thing and when it does happen it is truly a miracle of the Exodus from Egypt and it is sudden. That it happens to us and we can't determine and depict in advance because we have no quality of bestowal before exiting Egypt and therefore we just need to do all kinds of actions of preparation that the Kabbalist wrote to us and by that we will emerge, exit.

S. How do we prepare ourselves? Nevertheless there is a feeling that we have a desire?

R. First of all connection without connection you can't do it. You can't get out and besides connection the inclination towards the exit, which is from our ego is the connection to a connection that is in order to bestow, altruistic and that's exactly the Exodus from Egypt.

S. How do we detect the force of Moses that suddenly comes in?

R. Build it between the friends, build it between the friends as much as possible more and more, in a practical way, then you'll see how much you advance towards the exit.

S. So we need to annul before it?

R. This is a very, very simple work, done in our reality when we are already organized in tens and the truth is it doesn't matter what ten I am in, what matters is that I want to connect with them and nullify before them and push them to the Creator with all my strength. This means that I am willing to be in mutual responsibility.

S. There is the matter of annulment here annulling before this force of Moses?

R. Annulment towards what?

S. Annulment before the force of Moses that becomes revealed?

R. This force of Moses directs me to nullify towards the ten, in that I put all my strength into their connection, and pushing them, attracting them towards the Creator, towards in order to bestow. So that inside the ten between us there is a force in order to bestow.

17. S. (44:31) Does the force of Moses have to appear before the Exodus or during the Exodus?

R. The forces of Moses should appear before the Exodus from Egypt but it is actually all completely aimed at the exit. Search and try to help this force become revealed between the friends.

18. S. (45:15) What does it mean that everyone comes out of Egypt, all the friends in the ten come out of Egypt?

R. That each one receives some illumination to rise above his ego and there are many discernments, that like it says that they all come out of Egypt all the people of Israel, the men, women, children and elderly people, all those levels of the nation that you have, but in spiritual discernments they all receive a certain spiritual progress and that means that they exit Egypt. But each one still gets it according to their degree, their investment.

S. This depends on how much we pray for each other with force and persistence, does it depend on that or?

R. It depends on mutual help from each and every one but just like in the nation you have elderly people and babies, women, men and everything between them. So all the different ages and qualities and skills and so on. Similarly each person is comprised of everyone else and also the differences between everyone, that's why it's difficult to describe what it means to exit Egypt: some understand it's happening, some don't and they just feel it, some barely feel it even but they are somehow there as part of the others like babies and so on. So still we have to long for by the force of Arvut that we don't keep any quality in reception in order to receive like it says leaving a Parsa, meaning that we raise everything above the Parsa.

19. S. (47:50) In each and every generation humanity comes out of Egypt or a certain group comes out or is it just this certain group and now it's upon us?

R. We are responsible for the general correction of the world.

20. S. (51:57) There's one thing I don't understand, we've been studying for years, studying in the morning in the evening, the zoom meetings, everything we have all around.

R. I don't want to hear complaints, complaints are unacceptable.

S. I'm telling you why do we need this miracle if I do the work, if I do all the work…?

R. I don't know, go to the craftsmen who made me.

S. So what is this miracle?

R. Go to the craftsmen who made me.

S. So what is the miracle?

R. I don’t know.

S. What makes a miracle?

R. A miracle I don't know what is a miracle. We're going to have to discover that, we are before a miracle, before our will to receive transforms to a will to bestow, the miracle is the transition from in order to receive to in order to bestow. When that happens we will know what a miracle means.

21. S. (53:08) I always pray for my friends, for all the friends in Bnei Baruch, I don't see any changes, what am I missing here?

R. It's not enough to pray for the friends, you need to incorporate with them together. The first actual level of connection that you can make is already a step outside of Egypt. I'll be on the border. That is already a transition. That's what we need to pray for like Baal HaSulam explains to us in the article Matan Torah and The Arvut. The main thing is to feel that we are in a single boat. Once we feel that we are interconnected, this force that we will discover is binding us together. That's the force of the Creator and that force will explain to us what is the upper world, the spiritual world, the spirituality, what is in order to bestow that's what we need, that it will become revealed to us and show us what we need to do.

How to strengthen it, how to understand this reality, it is a reality that doesn't exist in us. That way not our mind, not our emotion are directing us to spirituality so this transformation that suddenly appears, this spirituality connection between us appears, this is called a miracle, and that's what we need to achieve. Here you can see from the story of Egypt that this includes so many discernments and problems that unfold, and various situations that are unpleasant. There are also the ten plagues where a person feels how much his will to receive doesn't let him rise above the will to receive and so that's how we will go through these stages. It's not drawn out in terms of time. It's quite short, we just have to go through these disturbances and overcome them and all in all, when we collect all these transitions then we're ready to understand what spirituality is.

Why is all this issue of the whole problem of the exile and escaping Egypt in the darkness and crossing the border and so on? It's all for us to have the qualified vessels to feel spirituality where the Creator can be revealed otherwise we don't reveal him, he's present right now. The Earth is full of his glory but we don't have the ability to discover him. He is there but where is he there? I'm thinking that he is here in the air, but there is more, there is another, how to put it, there are other axis in which the spiritual reality exists. These axis are of bestowal and you have there, back and forward and right and left up and down, all those spiritual dimensions and how will we reveal them that's what I have to prepare myself for.

22. S. (57:54) I wanted to ask what precisely is Moses the shepherd of?

R. Moses is only one thing, how he can take the ten and there is no more than the ten. It could be millions or billions of people or two or three, so how can he take them into his hands and transition them from a world of reception to a world of bestowal. World means what is inside a person his thoughts, preferences, goals.

S. In which way is Moses loyal, why is he called a loyal shepherd?

R. Loyal shepherd meaning that even though he is with the children of Israel but he is connected to that goal of the force of faith, the force of bestowal called Bina and he is connected to it. This must be in each and every one or else we will not come to the spiritual goal, we will not save ourselves from remaining beasts.

S. How can the ten put itself in the hands of Moses?

R. That each and every one depicts this force of Moses in him and he wants to grab hold of it like a baby wants to grab hold of its mother and advance and this is the power of Arvut where we are going to keep reminding the force of Arvut because when we connect in a single force as much as possible that we established this force with Moses that pulls us higher.

S. But what exactly should we imagine we are holding on to?

R. That we are all holding together the thoughts, desires, intentions, goals and we want all of them to be aimed at the Creator.

23. S. (01:00:30) We say that Moses is the point in the heart on the one hand, on the other hand it is the force that comes down to us from above and it pulls us out of the separation, so what are we talkin about here who are we?

R. One who wants to exit Egypt and is ready for it with all of his strength as much as he can and then he feels how this force called Moses, is pulling him from in order to receive to an order to bestow by connecting Him with everyone and through the connection and through revealing the force of Arvut they exit. All in all, what we discover is a single Kli and this is called the force of Arvut that becomes revealed and by that, in that we reveal the Creator that He has one for all.

24. S. (01:01:46) We are talking about the fact that Moses is a force with help as a whole and we become incorporated in the friends and we rise above ourselves and I leave nothing for myself. This is what you said about ten minutes ago, what does it mean that I leave nothing for myself?

R. Moses says that the cattle meaning the cattle, the flock, all the beasts. Yes it is beast, it is nothing. He still does not refer to the sheep and the goats and the cows, so he is referring to the beastly force in each and every one that does not leave anything in Egypt. Taking all of the thoughts, all the desires, all the reason on every level and takes them out above the Parsa. This is what it says not leaving even one Parsa behind and that is what we need to see that this will happen to us, that we are ready, all of us to escape completely not to leave anything behind. Everything will be in order to bestow.

S. How is this related to us? These thoughts about the friends are disconnected from all the rest, how can we add all the ‘rest’ to it?

R. You work on it during the day until it's tomorrow but think about it during the day.

25. S. (01:03:36) If I see this force of Moses between the friends, how can I develop it?

R. To nullify towards the Moses which you discover between the friends.

26. S. (01:04:19) What is this border that is between us that this force of Moses wants to bring us? What is this border, this limit that you just mentioned?

R. It is a border between two worlds the world of reception called Egypt and the world of bestowal called the land of Israel. This border is very problematic. A person receives from above the force of bestowal and from that moment on, this force rules and dwells on the person and the person begins to enter it and practically incorporate with that force and work with it, think, want, do actions of connection for bestowal and revelation of the Creator more and more. This is the force we discover only after we leave Egypt and leave our desires with the intentions in order to receive and we move to intentions in order to bestow. We necessitate the upper force, the Creator to change us, to give us a special light from above and that, like now we are in order to receive, we will be by necessity in the intention to bestow.

27. S. (01:02:29) How do we discover, how do we emphasize the quality of Moses within us?

R. We look for him from where he is, we look for where he is. Moses in the meantime is hidden and we want him to become revealed, to become to stand out, to be in front of us ahead of us going forward in the Exodus from Egypt in a way that he accompanies us or attracts us, that he sets the path. We don't know it, we don't know how to advance from in order to receive to in order to bestow, but this transition is truly unclear how it happens. This quality of the bestowal lands on the person and begins to rule him more and more that he begins to discover the difference between what there is and what there was and what will be, it is a transition between two worlds. Then what we already do, in what we call in order to bestow the land of Israel, we always say a memory of their Exodus from Egypt which means that because we exited Egypt we can now make actions of connection and bestowal.

28. S. (01:08:02) Do we just replace the source of pleasure from reception that now we enjoyed bestowal, so the corporeal pleasures they remain?

R. We will have to figure that out on the way, and in the transition and also from the other side of it. I do not want to go into things that right now we do not yet live through.

29. S. (01:08:38) What state should we depict right now in order to advance?

R. That we achieve connection Arvut to such an extent that between us the upper world begins to appear. This force of mutual bestowal, this network of connection between us by which we can bestow to each other at a level at a measure of Arvut and love and confidence. It all appears between us.

30. S. (01:09:08) What does it mean that we all come out together if each one has his own desire?

R. It is like the nation that is comprised of men, women elderly people, women, children, babies and even cattle. Everything comes out of Egypt.

31. S. (01:09:41) We touched on them at the beginning of the lesson, what is the force of Batya, Pharaoh’s daughter that saves Moses from the water?

R. Bat is (Yud Kei) daughter, which is the name of Pharaoh’s daughter, Pharaoh had a daughter called Batya. It is a name to this day that is acceptable among Jews and they give this name to females sometimes, Batya. However Batya, is Bat Yud Kei which means the daughter of the Creator. Because Pharaoh is actually a manifestation of the Creator, but in a seemingly negative form towards one who wants to come out of it, but it is not negative. The Pharaoh, his role is to disturb the person until the person comes up with the forces to exit and then Pharaoh himself opens the door from them and they come out of Egypt and then Pharaoh locks the door after them, so they do not want to come back. This is also something that there is a lot of explanations and stories about. It is forces that are just working in one direction bringing us to the final correction and if we detach from ourselves a bit, we start seeing that there is nothing bad in the world. All of these forces are leading towards the attainment of the goal.

32. S. (01:11:53) In the beginning of the lesson you recommended to think that we are already in the quality of Moses but on the other hand we cannot imagine it because we do not have that quality, so how do we correctly depict the quality of Moses in us?

R. We can play with that because in a game we use our desires and intentions and our power of imagination and our inclinations and it is like a prayer that I want, and by that I draw the force that helps me do it that helps me go from one level to that next. What do we see in children, how do they evolve as we let them play in all kinds of things and when they succeed and fail, and actually by failing they advance more. As they play they want, we can see how they are inclined to do something, try something and the same with us. Always be in connecting, in participating and in coming closer to each other and imagining the force of the Creator the force of Moses that will pull us. If we do this game properly, this is called awakening upper forces that advance us. The whole world is really a game, but it is a game not in that we play at a theater or whatever we want to. The Creator is inviting us that we are in a mutual force of bestowal, the force of connection and we want it to take shape between us. The more we are drawn to it the more we awaken forces that work on us and stabilizes us correctly.

33. S. (01:14:32) You mentioned that the force of faith is the force of Bina. How can we obtain this force of bestowal to pray to perform commandments?

R. The force of bestowal that we want to raise above the force of reception means that we aspire to the force of Bina more than the force of Malchut, that we want to rise to Bina.

S. How do we attain it?

R. Through our own efforts, our exertion. The upper light works on us, we are inside the upper light and according to our yearning it happens.

34. S. (01:15:22) Can we say that attaining the force of Moses is something that accumulates?

R. Attaining the force of Moses of course it is accumulative, that Moses grows in us and advances us and brings us closer to the Creator.

35. S. (01:15:48) What is preventing us from coming out of Egypt. How to run away from it?

R. That is our laziness and that we are not pushing each other enough toward the Arvut. A single person cannot come out of Egypt, none of us can, and each of us, there's a power, a desire, and an anticipation to come out but there is no connection with the others, therefore, we stand zero chances of coming out of Egypt, unless we have an inclination towards connection because what we attain beyond the exodus is our connection. Like it says today you have become a nation, a natios is already a ten. If we do not aspire to be in a ten in order to discover the Creator precisely in a ten according to the mutual inclination that we have then we cannot come out of Egypt. Egypt is that force of separation between us which we have to overcome and and this force of separation the Aviut, the coarseness will only go and grow.

36. S. (01:17:18) Where do I draw those intense forces, and the confidence to make the efforts and go towards a place I don't know what it is?

R. Because we are in a big group and we have the forces, we are connected to spirituality, we are connected to the Creator, we need to reveal it more and more and use it. We need to help each other, if we think about how to do it together, no problem. We awaken the upper force, the spiritual force if we think about how to be together, and if we don't, we don't.

37. S. (01:17:59) You mention that everyone comes out of Egypt, elders, children. What does being old and spirituality mean?

R. It says about it. What do you do with children that grow old?. Even those young at age in a group, they can be elders or females. As it says, “her strength was worn out like that of a female”, so, those, who do not have the strength to overcome it, are considered elderly or woman. Surely, we are not talking about women physiological the way that we grasp it and corporeality, and therefore the only thing that we need to aspire for is to connect with one another, men, women, and in that we will discover the force of the Creator that will reveal Himself.

38. S. (01:19:09) When we hear their friends pray before the lessons there is a strong force that unites and brings happiness. Is that the force of Moses?

R. Yes, every force that awakens me to rise above myself, to connect the others, and through that to the Creator is the force of Moses.

39. S. (01:19:34) What's the advice you can give when the mind controls faith and won't let it lead us?

R. To connect with a friend and understand that in them if I shut my eyes and I really put myself amongst them then I found the spiritual force and my annulment towards the group.

40. S. (01:20:01) The last few days we feel a descent in the ten, and we cannot awaken and uplift above it. Are those states of a Passover?

R. That too, that there is a stronger coarseness that is becoming revealed in order for us to rise above it, to overcome it, and for us to reach a sufficient force of overcoming an order for us to transcend.

41. S. (01:20:34) Do all connections in the ten need to be equal?, or some parts stronger and some weaker?

R. That is fine, in these connections there are different discernments that right now we can’t really sort, scrutinize, criticize but we simply need to be in them as much as possible.

42. S. (01:21:02) The entrance and exit of Egypt stops us. Can we use memories from the past to get out of Egypt?

R. No, we always need to aspire for the future and not to look at the past. It is like Lot's wife that turned back, looked back, and turned into a salt pillar.

43. S. (01:21:33) Does the force of Moses develop in the same extent that it is perceived?

R. I don’t know what you mean. How the force of Moses is grasp, surely to measure that the person starts depicting the force of Moses in him that is the Moses in him.

44. S. (01:22:13) Many times you said that laziness prevents us from advancing. I have a half an hour, at that moment the ten is with me. What should I do in that free half-hour, what should I read or think about in order for me to not be lazy, me alone?

R. I think that if you take these excerpts that we are going over now, and you will read them for 30 minutes, you will gain a lot from it.

S. I tried two lines and I'm stuck. I have to do it for someone, how?

R. I told you what to do. You simply need to read the text that we are going over now, that we are going over in the morning, and don't continue bringing on your complaints and your excuses. You heard what I told you to do, do it.

45. S. (01:23:46) On one hand, we cry for help, on the other hand, the answer comes when we do not expect it. Could it happen at different times?

R. It can happen at each and every given moment suddenly.

46. S. (01:24:09) Why don't I have any indication about the time, how long should it take and where I am in the process?

R. You don't need to be in that, you need to be above your ego, and therefore, you are not supposed to have these kinds of questions. You already need to depict yourself as outside of Egypt and behave, act that way and then when it'll happen it will. What a person's heart desires is that is where he is, so if you want to come out of Egypt, you already now have to act out and live as if you are outside of Egypt, because you are going to receive something because you are lacking something but because it’s in order to bestow and in order to bestow all options are open.

S. But I could just go on and on and on we can say that in every state

R. If you are in the inclination of an order to bestow then you'll have no such questions, like it goes on and on.

S. But I'm not in that tendency.

R. If not yet then you need to further think, what are you missing, what are you lacking in order to get there. Otherwise, you are coming out of Egypt shouting where is the spiritual world that I deserve?. So, wait.

47. R ( 01:26:00) The lack of connection between us, the mutual bestowal that we are lacking, this is what leads us to these kind of mistakes. That everyone thinks not about how to help their friends but how to help himself, this is actually the main problem, that surely with such an inclination a person stands zero chances of coming out of Egypt.

48. S. (01:26:37) How to organize ourselves to not expect a reward and wanting to come out of Egypt. On the one hand, I will just stay at my place. On the other hand, I do demand a reward.

R. But, what kind of reward are you demanding? That is the question. We need to each and every time to change our reward, that means to climb the degrees. What is the difference between a certain degree and the same degree plus one. The difference is the reward, what am I demanding.

Excerpt 151 (01:27:25) Twice

49. S. (01:30:25) In the excerpt, it is said that the faith in man is the whole of man. Is the whole man Creator and the Creator is the whole man? What does it mean? Can you explain this?

R. No, the Creator is the force of bestowal that is the only existing thing in reality, and from Him stems all of the rest of the forces that we feel, and besides the Creator, therefore, nothing exists because all of the forces come from Him and all the created beings and everything. This is all I can say.

Excerpt 152 (01:31:29) Article No. 711, "There Has Never Risen a Prophet Like Moses"

50. R. (01:31:44) Meaning, tantamount to all of the created beings, all of the souls, the whole creation.

Excerpt 152 continues: (01:31:53) “meaning that Moses was rewarded….”

50. R. (01:32:02) Meaning that the Creator who wants to reveal Himself to the entire desire to receive that he has created, so His revelation to the entire desire to receive that He has created is called Moses.

Excerpt 152 continues: (01:32:17) “ This is the meaning of ….”

55. R. (01:32:26) That is why it says that the Shechina speaks out of his throat. Meaning, the Creator's bestowal upon his created beings is the force of Moses.

Excerpt 153 (01:32:51) Article No. 711, "There Has Never Risen a Prophet Like Moses"

56. R. (01:34:00) Meaning that the upper force that shines to all of the created beings bringing them the force of bestowal ,the force of faith that is called Moses, that is really most she pulls all of us all of the created beings to the degree of bestowal the degree of the Creator. It is not a human being ,it is not a person, but it is the power of bestowal that comes from the Creator and that is why it is called Moshe.

57. S. (01:34:38) What is a shepherd and what does a shepherd do?

R. A shepherd means that only he knows where to go and whoever follows him, he's following properly and reaches the goal that is called the shepherd, the leader.

58. S. (01:35:17) It is written, it is not a man, it is force but it also says that he will take the bones of Joseph, what does that mean?

R. That he takes the vessels of Joseph and delivers them from Egypt in order to correct these desires and fulfill them with the upper light.

Reading 154 (01:36:37) RABASH, Article No. 228, "Moses Is the Quality of Faith"

59. R. (01:36:19) Moses being born means that now there is a lack of faith.

Reading 155 ( 01:36:28) “What Is ‘the People’s Shepherd Is the Whole People’ in the Work?”

R. (01:37:16) I see that our guys are tired already so let us have a break and move onto the next part of the lesson.

60. S. (01:37:37) Complete faith is already the connection with the will to receive?

R. Yes, there is faith and there is complete faith. Faith is called the light of Hassadim the force of Bina and complete faith is where the Bina is raised already to the Keter and if faith is a light of Hassadim ,then complete faith is a light of Hassadim and the illumination of Hochma.

61. S. (01:38:06) I heard that Moses takes the ten and takes him on his hands from a world of reception to a world of bestowal. How to depict such a state correctly?

R. A force that elevates us from the qualities of reception to the qualities of bestowal That is the force of Bina. That is called the force of Moses that this is the only thing that we need faith above reason.

S. What does it mean that I do it for my ten?

R. That you bestow upon the ten the knowledge of this, the feeling, whatever you can in order for all of you to understand that this is the only thing that you are missing in the ten, a connection in order for you to understand what you are lacking is the force of faith, of Bina, of mutual bestowal.

S. Who comes out of Egypt? Me, my ten, together?

R. Whoever wants to come out of Egypt comes out of Egypt. That's who. The more you connect and want to rise above the ego and mutual bestowal between us and from us to the Creator then these desires, these thoughts, these inclinations, they are the ones that come out of Egypt.

S. How can it be that a beast comes out of Egypt desires that do not want to be corrected?

R. There is such in the incorporation to, in the corporation come out men and also beasts.

S. Why can't we come out now?

R. First of all there needs to be a nation that is ready that is willing to come out, that are suffering as a result of in order to bestow and could not connect and therefore that is the nation that we need for all of us to want to connect and rise above our desire to receive in our mutual bestowal and that we can't and that we can't for us is felt as suffering. Then we will feel that we are in exile, that we are shackled, that we are handcuffed in prison that we want to run away from in order to receive.  We want to get out and we cannot. We cannot implement the desire to bestow, we cannot Implement connection and if we do not achieve it then it is real death. Then we feel that we are in a prison, in a dungeon, in exile. Exile of what? Exile of our connection, of our love, exile of our connection between us and the Creator which is all bestowal it is a world of bestowal. That we cannot get there even though we really want to and then we cry out and then that opens up the ability to come out of our egoistic forces on to the force of mutual bestowal.

We need to talk about this more and more to make it more tangible for us. to be clear to us, what is the difference between what we feel now and what we are supposed to feel.

62. S. (01:42:20) Can we say that we are building the force of Moses and the efforts in the ten in our aspirations or is it still a miracle from the Creator?

R. No, it is not a miracle from the Creator, it is something that we need to build and to the measure in which we are trying to build bestowal and connection between us for this force to pull us up word towards the quality of the Creator to that measure we build a quality of Moses. Meaning we take him out of the Nile, raise him, care for this force, tend to it and then it becomes ours.

63. S. (01:43:15) Can we come out of Egypt only when we go through all of the states of the ten annulment, incorporation, Arvut, prayer?

R. Yes.

64. S. ( 01:43:33) What is the connection between faith and Moses? Faith comes from our choice or how exactly does it create the quality of Moses?

R. Faith and Moses are one and the same that is why Moses is called the faithful shepherd.

65. S. (01:43:52) It is written in 151 that in every person there is faith in the Creator called Moses the faithful shepherd. What state in the ten is it? Is it connected to individuals in the ten or the whole ten in general ?

R. It has to do with certain individuals but we need to reach a state where this force will become revealed in the ten, in the center of the ten between us.

66. S. (01:44:33) We are not aware of a lot of our desires. How can we take them into Egypt?

R. What is revealed is revealed. We cannot be responsible for what I have and I do not know. In me there is an abyss of egoistic desires and this is something that needs to gradually become revealed from the exodus from Egypt and until the end of Correction. The 125° that are now in front of me. This is what I need to be concerned with, this is the main thing. It is like we are walking in an unknown place so in front of us there is someone called Moses and he is walking with his rod,the staff and he's walking and I am not thinking about anything. The only thing I'm thinking about is how to put my foot where he put his foot and that is how I follow him. This is the secret to how to properly advance in an unknown terrain and in a place where we have no idea of how to walk or how to approach it. Therefore, between us we need to find the force of Moses and to follow in that way. Meaning on each and every step to check whether we are in the force of bestowal and faith and mutual connection and more and more from side to side.

67. S. (01:46:45) What should I do if I search for Arvut but I am rejected? How many times should I try again ?

R. You are rejected because of the desire for you to reveal a greater need for mutual responsibility Arvut and for you to understand that it is a secret better or else you would not be able to advance.

68. S. (01:47:11) What is the right way to push each other towards Arvut?

R. Example.

69. S (01:47:25) Is each one the shepherd towards the ten?

R. Yes, each of us needs to be a shepherd for the ten because each of us needs to be a shepherd for the ten because each of us has different qualities and thus can be a shepherd. the representative of Moses towards the ten to his own extent. Eventually what follows is that we connect the point of Moses in each and every one of us and that's we come to the end of correction.
