1. Rav’s Introduction: I would start by the fact that together let’s define, as clear as possible, as short as possible, what is Arvut, that is the first question. And the second question is, it is why is it so important? Whoever wants to answer, give a sign. What is Arvut and why is it so important? It's like in class if nobody raises their hand and then I will decide.

S. I see Arvut as a promise you make in the spiritual world to the Creator, and it’s important to keep that promise because the Creator would never let you down.

2. R. (02:53) Why is it so important and what must we attain in Arvut?

S. We have to reach such an inner feeling of urgency to be connected between us, as we understand there is no other opportunity, there is no other way. We have to bestow to the friends, support them, this is the only way.

3. R. (03:30) Why is Arvut so important?

S. It is so important because it is the only way that we can go beyond ourselves and that’s why we should always pray for each other and we should want the progress in spirituality for each other and this is the only way all our friends can reach the attainment and we can be as one with the Creator, just to all go together, and we're responsible for each other.

4. R. (04:27)  Why do we come closer to the Creator, why do we reveal the Creator specifically through Arvut? That the greater the Arvut, the mutual responsibility is, to that extent we come closer to being together and to that same extent we become included in the Creator and reveal Him, why?

S. In the Arvut we discover a vessel of bestowal of loving others, thanks to that we rise to the Creator and bestowal and love because Arvut is the law of connection between the souls in the system of Adam HaRishon.

5. R. (06:39) Why is coming closer to the purpose of creation, to the final correction it is specifically by gathering together more and more and more meaning keeping the law of Arvut more and more and more?

S. It is because we received the will to receive and ask to transform it, that the Creator will change us to be in order to bestow, this is the Arvut that we enter from the love of friends to the love of the Creator.

6. R. (07:30)  How many people need to be in Arvut in order to keep the Arvut?

S. In order to carry out the Arvut we need at least two friends who are in Arvut with each other.

7. R. (08:02) What does it mean, Arvut?

S. It means corrected connection between us, meaning faith above reason.

8. R. (08:16) Does Arvut depend on the amount of people that participate in it?

S. With the help of the unity of all the friends, being able to achieve Arvut we thus come to connection with the Creator.

9. R. (09:05) Arvut between men and Arvut between women, is it the same Arvut or not? If we take a ten of women and a ten of men, in both of these tens, should there be the same laws of Arvut or not?

S.  I think that Arvut is the completion of the law of Torah, love thy friend as thyself, and this law must be carried out in a women ten or men ten, we come to unlock this law and the more we unlock this law, the more we connect to the Creator and bring love.

10. R. (10:12) What is the difference between the Arvut in the men's group and the Arvut in the women's group?

S. The men's group, they have to connect and be as one, but the women have to both connect and also support the men.

11. R. (10:52) Does Arvut change from one group to the next?

S. For us, Arvut does not depend on the amount but the love we put in.

Reading excerpt # 1 (11:37) “Precisely through the Arvut, when all are regarded as one..”

12 .R. () To what extent, to what limit do we need to reach our mutual responsibility in the ten, for example, I have a ten and we want, we were thinking about it, we prepared for it, so let’s say we agree to reach Arvut, to what intensity of the Arvut do we have to arrive at? To what level of Arvut do we need to arrive at if we want to enter Arvut?

S. We think that we have to achieve the light of Haya.

S. The more the connection between us grows stronger, the better the Arvut is felt. Only love can mend and unify this connection and we will be more guarantors for each other.

R. To the extent of the Arvut we feel closeness between us and to the extent of the closeness between us, we discover the Creator.

13. R. (14:16) When we start the Arvut every time, let’s say today we start it, yesterday we also had it and also tomorrow we will have it, then the question is, how can we measure the Arvut from yesterday until today and from today to tomorrow?

S. I think that when I take responsibility for someone, then love must grow, love not just for the friends and the Creator, but also love to all created beings and it’s a precondition to fulfilling the world with love and ending hate.

14. R. (15:43) When we want to rise to the degree of Arvut, more than we are now, what is the first thing we need to do? If we want to rise to a higher spiritual degree, what do we need to do in the connection of Arvut between us?

S. We should add an effort to the connection we should annul ourselves and through that we will add and move on to the next step of the Arvut.

R.  In other words, the Arvut depends only on the connection between us.

15. R. (16:49) When we want to increase the Arvut, what is the first thing we need to do?

S. If we want to increase the Arvut we have to be with friends in the morning lesson, always with them, we have to be with them in the lessons.

16. R. (18:15) What do we feel when we keep the Arvut between us, what feeling do we get from that?

S. We feel the love of the Creator supporting us through the friends.

17. R. (18:51) What is the connection between Arvut and love?

S. First of all, we have to awaken the desire within us, the desire to connect to the Creator is not personal, we all connect and discover the Creator.

S. At first I would like to feel love towards the friends and then it will be easy to carry out the Arvut, but it's not there and that's why I carry the Arvut forcefully, until I have love I play and act and convince myself and first I do it without love, until there is love after I put in the effort.

R. Meaning I can keep the Arvut only to the same extent that I have love towards the friends. In other words, first I must attain love to the friends, and then keep the Arvut, is that how it is?

S. Yes that is ideal.

R.  Ok, maybe you're right, I don't want to add to that, maybe the rest of the friends should think about it.

18. R. () What is more important, love thy friend as thyself, or to be a responsible, a guarantor, for your friend? What is the difference between love and Arvut, mutual responsibility, what do I need to first of all attain, Arvut or love?

S. First Arvut is more important, and then to receive the gift from above, we will attain love for the friends, but first is Arvut because there we can make an effort.

19. R. (22:12)  What is the connection between Arvut and love?

S. If we love, we will be guarantors, we begin in this condition with love. If we begin to love, we will take this mutual responsibility upon ourselves if we begin with love.

20. R. (23:05) If we advance, do we first have to reach Arvut or do we first need to reach love?

S. The key to the Arvut is to open the heart.

R. So first is to open the heart?

S. Yes.

Reading excerpt # 2 (24:08) “One must not exclude oneself from the public..”

21. R. (24:40) Here it is clear to us, instead of thinking of everyone, I think of myself. This is, from one end to the other, we see this great change that can be in the Kli of Adam HaRishon. How can we imagine ourselves a law, in the Malchut of Ein Sof, or in the Kli of Adam HaRishon, in the general Malchut, towards connection. What is the general law of connection in the Kli of the Malchut in all of the world?

S. The connection is to be in the request that Malchut rises to Hochma so Hochma can send her light to Malchut.

22. R. (26:15) What is the connection between Arvut and connection?

S. The I disappears and the I becomes the group, there is no more individual.

23. S. (27:11) What happens with a person who enters Arvut? What happens in their sensations, what do they feel?

S. He stops feeling himself as himself and starts feeling himself as a group, as a whole.

24. R. (27:44) What do we need to do if we have attained a level of Arvut and how do we move forward to a higher degree?

S. We have to be thankful to the Creator, give back everything to the Creator and ask him to pass our feeling also to the rest of the friends.

S. To be in the Arvut that we assume means that we're already in a connection of love, although after we're in the connection of love, we can also be in Arvut because the Arvut is that in the next state the love will not disappear and will continue being connected in this Arvut.

25. R. (29:06) So all in all, the law of Arvut is reconnection of the shattered Kli which the Creator shattered to start with, in the sin of the tree of knowledge, in the sin of Adam HaRishon. Why did the Creator shatter the Kli? We were all together, connected and everything just broke, why? What is going on, why did he do that?

S. I think that because we would have a need, a demand for the Creator. We would need his help and we understand that without Him, we cannot attain Him.

R. In other words, the Creator wanted us to need each other's help and that is why he broke us?

S. And besides this, also his help, because without Him, we ourselves cannot even connect and so automatically we need Him, to connect us, so that there is Arvut between us.

26. R. (31:00) What do we need to do now, during the convention, with the Arvut between us, to what extent do we want to reach in the Arvut between us in order to reach the goal we want, more or less? How can we imagine ourselves the level of connection, the level of Arvut between us, that by that, we will come out of the convention satisfied? What level of Arvut do we need to reach in order to be satisfied from the convention?

S. The desire for Arvut has to burn in our hearts and if we don't feel that burning desire, we have to demand of the Creator to give it to us, and demand of the Creator to complete our efforts so we rise to the next degree.

27. R. (32:56) Yes, in that case tell me, how do we reach such a demand to the Creator? How do I reach the Creator with such a demand?

S. Dear Creator when we already achieved such a lofty state where we can nullify towards the entire group, the teacher, and the entire Congress. All we have left is where the Creator already unites us and everything is already happening, so the question no longer exists in this unity, the Creator is revealed in you too, Rav.

R. It's very true, specifically when we annul one towards one other, we discover the emptiness, it’s empty, annulment, and there we start discovering the Creator and the upper world. Meaning the true connection between us.

S. You know I've been studying for 20 years and for the first time speaking to you here and I envy myself for being here and I'm delighted and I want to thank you very very much.

Reading excerpt # 3 (35:12) “One must always pray for his friend..”

28. R. (36:18) In other words, if we ask, if we pray, not for ourselves, but for our friend, then we reach connection, fulfillment, solution, that is the most important thing.

Reading excerpt # 4 (37:15) “If six hundred thousand men abandon the work..”

29. R. (38:31) How can we reach a state that each one can annul himself to such an extent as Baal HaSulam writes here. How can we do that, and we likely can, because the Torah does not exaggerate, it gives us practical exercises that we need to reach in practice. How can we do it, talk about it among yourselves.

S.We always see in practice that achieving these heights is possible through annulment and support and unity of the hearts. We always connect that way.

S.  I think the main thing is to not give up, so try and make mistakes and fall down and raise up and don't give up, it can be different disturbances but go on.

S. From the recognition of evil, to pray for the friends to come out of ourselves, to be always determined, to adhere to the ten.

R. Now ask questions one towards the other. I have no more questions.

30. S. (41:44) I would like to ask, how can we use our next action which is the meal to continue being together even more connected to reach the state of Lishma?

R. In general the meal for Kabbalists is considered as the most sacred event, as the most sacred action, because while a person is eating it is similar to receiving from the Creator the upper light, as if, right. That is why Kabbalists, they relate to such a connection during the meal, such importance, you can read a lot about it.

Reading excerpt # 5 (43:15) “By making the covenant, their love will be eternal love..”

31. R. (44:50) Yes, how can we reach such a covenant that each and everyone truly becomes part of the other? How can we reach such a connection between us?

S. We have gathered this collective answer, it goes like this, the Creator collected us so that we feel the need for connection in our Arvut, in our united desire, if we hold each other on each level, we help each other rise to Him and that's the only way to reach the Creator, the connection between us, unity.

S. I think only through annulment towards each other and towards the Creator, that's the only way to achieve this covenant.

S.  I think the upper light is actually helping. We have to have that intention that we will connect and we'll go through the influence of the upper light.

S. Yes, the friends wrote, to the extent of annulment of the friends in faith above reason to imagine how we love the friends and the we come out of ourselves and give example and take example, it's all there, we just need this extra little step of annulment towards the friends and the greatness of the friends.

S. First of all, we have to sit down together and write down the covenant of commitment between us, and then we make room for the Creator to finish this for us. That’s the place of mutual annulment and deficiency and we collect all of it and we get married with the Creator.

S. When I understand that I am not just a bag of bones and what there is around me, and we see that we are drawn to each other and we feel the friends, then we enter such a connection where each one loves the other and everything is covered in love.

S. Yes, the friends wrote, to start from ourselves, from annulment, from example, to show concern, and to take care of such a connection and incorporate with the deficiency and feel the deficiency of the friends and demand from the Creator for them.

S. The state where we draw the upper light which will bring us to the right connection.

S. How do we come to this covenant where we become part of each other, our perception of reality changes, we change, and we come to this connection, to this very unique connection of love and joy.

S. I think that's it is a process that takes time, it doesn't happen right away, but it depends on our desire, our desire needs to be very great to reach such a state where we are truly part of each other, if all of us, all the ten will ask and pray to the Creator with a cry in our heart, we will turn to the Creator and he will give it to us.

32. S. (50:52) How can we achieve Arvut and wholeness with all the friends in the ten?

R. Only by mutual support, only by mutual support.

S. I think that the spiritual shame that you were given this inner point, these feelings you need to develop and connect them to the friends and you don't realize that, that really gives you momentum to advance towards connection with the friends and develop this and envy, that they are greater, that they are better, so that we connect and advance together. These feelings that animals don't have, only people, it necessitates us to be together and strengthen our connection.

S. And it's very important to open the heart. Our hearts are stony and when we try to do that, we run into two obstacles and the help is the prayer, if each friend will try to really make an effort then the connection between us will be stronger and we will become part of each other.

R. Yes I want to be among you.

S. We're being led to the Arvut by the Creator and we need to put all our efforts into being in this path and not letting go.

R. Even better.

S. The covenant is something that we sign in our heart and our soul, when we do that is the most important thing in our life. If we live that it's the most important thing for our life, then we are sure to reach connection.

R. That is right.

S. The more I invest in the friends and activate a prayer for them, the more I love them. So the more I invest in them the more I love them, it's like investing in a baby. But you love the baby because it's yours, and the friends it’s an even higher degree because to begin with, it’s a person who is foreign to me and then loving him, so it all depends on what I do for them, when I already love them, of course they become part of me.

R. Yes all done thank you for those words.

S. I just want to add that we pray for the greatness of the Creator, which should always be in front of us as the goal and for the Creator to help us to reach that.

S. I think that we just give ourselves to the friend's hands.

33. S. (56:40) Is there a difference between connection between the friends while they study and outside of the study?

R. In every opportunity, in every opportunity. That is it.

34. S. (57:20) About how to build the Arvut and feel as one with everyone, I feel that it starts with annulment, but annulment towards all of Kli, those who are organized the Congress I have to follow their instructions, and remove all of the resistances, being in a random room is amazing, it gives you some new kind of connection and I feel this is what is about, not to go into personal room and hide there, it doesn't matter. Here there is an opportunity for sublime connection with others and with the whole Kli, thank you.

35. S. (58:21) Friends came from different places and together, we want to incorporate in this Arvut, we are thinking about the Arvut, how to open our hearts and bring the friends in, just to the friends there once and for all. The ten, for instance, anyone however he sees it, because if we don't do that, nothing will help.

R. You're completely right.

36. S. (59:05) In order for the covenant to happen, there has to be an agreement and this brings sorrow because I don't want to say goodbye to it and then you have to connect to the friend's desire to bestow. So we need at least two, so that we can discover this Arvut and I can come out of self concern and enter concern for the friends.

37. S. (1:00:12) We have the following question: as we were waiting, the question was changed a hundred times, but this state where we have gathered and a lot of friends put effort to make this happen, but ultimately we ask, what for, what do we want? We eat together, we drink together, we feel good together, but what do we want out of this?

R. Did you prepare this question?

S. We came with the question, but it gets lost.

R. Each one needs to hold this question from within and to keep warming it up.

S. But you understand that it is all great here, there is no need?

R. No, hold onto the question all the time, to give birth to it, to raise it, you need to constantly be in greater upliftment, greater questioning towards your environment, towards the friends.

38. S. (1:01:55) You gave us a good exercise and asked us questions according to the excerpt, those were answered, probably were answered correctly, you strengthened what they all said, and you were happy with one answer from each question, so the impression is that you were asking from a little bit of the next degree, and it's an interesting exercise, can you explain the effectiveness of this, and how to use it correctly, including for those who keep quiet?

R. I try and ask in such a way, question or some sort of a problem that needs to be solved, something that will force you to rise a little bit higher from the place you were in before, that is my entire method.

S. Can we also run similar exercises without your participation, let's say in our daily meetings?

R. Go ahead do it, what am I limiting you? Do it, of course, to start with, you need to discuss it with the friends and so on.

S. We hear lessons every day and we are here next to each other, what do you recommend for us to do realistically today already?

R. Realistically, you need to for all times, for all states, I can only do one thing, awaken one in the other a deficiency for Arvut. That is the most important, look what Baal HaSulam is doing, his first article is “Matan Torah”, it comes from above, his second article is the “Arvut”, and this is a state that comes from below, in that we need to connect together and we are from below to Him.

To add, with those states the friends mentioned, there is another special state where we are invested in this gathering, we came here, and I have a question about the covenant. I feel like everyone here is ready and willing to give everything to the friends. We have that covenant, on that level, what to do with it, will that remain?

R. Every time, every single moment, to constantly renew it and increase it.

39. S. (1:05:21) I have a complex question, there is a state right now where the tens are separate, we have friends from Ukraine, from all kinds of places are dispersed, I am in Argentina, I embraced the friends and I feel as I am embracing the friends from my ten. What to do with this strange feeling?

R. I can't hear you well. It's better that you write to me and then I answer you.

40. S. (1:06:34) If the Arvut equal among men and women then why aren't we mixing in the tens, we watch the lessons together?

R. We can't mix men and women in our spiritual path because it will break our inclination to come closer, only the men among themselves, and women among themselves, otherwise there is no way.

S. So how during the lessons to accept the women's lesson as something that’s separate?

R. Yes as something separate that is working in parallel to us. Under no circumstances should you start mixing up.

S. Look for ways to connect with women?

R. Under no circumstances, from this point until the end of correction you need to understand that coming closer between men and women, that is what broke the world and that needs to continue that way until the final correction.

S. What about the end of correction?

R. There we will meet and talk about it. We will do a convention and we will discuss that we have completed all of our correction and how we now need to come closer in our two parts, the male part and the female part.

S. Excellent so we will see each other.

R. I don't think it will be so quick, we need to very carefully approach this question.

18. R. What is more important, love thy friend as thyself, or to be a responsible, a guarantor, for your friend?

S. We always see in practice that achieving these heights is possible through annulment and support and unity of the hearts.

S.To add, with those states the friends mentioned, there is another special state where we are invested in this gathering, we came here, and I have a question about the covenant.
