Reading (00:38 - 06:46)  “In Practical Life, the Four Attributes Contradict One Another…”

1. R. (06:48) So this means that according to what the Creator created, we have no chance to make our world just, beautiful, good, honest. The corruptions are such, so great and so unique and interconnected that nothing is going to help us to try to rearrange the world, some way, based on our intellect, based in our desire to receive with our mine. As much as we try to work on it, the world will always remain deficient, crooked, and imbalanced, and nothing is going to work. So the Creator, to begin with, organized the world in such a way that we won't be able to coexist in it, keeping everyone happy, keeping everyone equal’ that we will be able to distribute things correctly between us, share, nothing, none of it. It’s very interesting, actually, how He made the world in such a way that we won't be able to get along, we won't be able to get along as much as we try. Even in thousands of years after going through wars and peace, and different treaties and fixes and try to come up with all kinds of other; whatever descendants we have - our kids’ kids and so forth, we are not going to find in our world a solution for the peace in the world. No, the peace in the world is not going to even be manageable, all the more so to practical.

2. S. (09:22) To what extent should we save up for “the dark days” because times are leading to there?

R. You can begin to build your bunker underground as deep as you can, you can save some gold or silver or money or precious stones, but when you have nothing to eat what good is gold and money? So, you can run away to somewhere in Siberia or some other place, grab a piece of land, if it's allowed I don't know, and start farming there to at least have something to eat. So I don't have anything to tell you, I can't tell you what to do here. We have a different method, that we have to connect to the upper force which is the source of all that is good and bad. And being connected to Him is what humanity needs. To achieve connection with it, and not just connection but equivalence of form, so that to the extent that we can give to Him, we can receive from Him, and that’s the good and correct future.

S. On one hand, it’s written, “not to be a burden on society”, on the other hand, we know that Baal HaSulam, himself, gave away money and keep nothing for himself?

R. You don't need to take an example from him, don’t take an example from him what he did, that was his personal calculations with the Creator, yes; that in general, Kabbalists, it’s also written about Baal Shem Tov they would go out into what we call “exile”, meaning the person would wake up in the morning and without taking anything with them, they would just leave the house. And it's not like today where you have villages and cities and many people around you and so on. A person would just go out and leave and start going, not knowing where, until he would sleep on the ground somewhere at night whether it’s winter or summer, and that's called “going out to Exile”. And in such a way, one begins to look for getting closer to the Creator, and of course all the other people may attack him and beat him up and he will try not to run away but to keep going. These are things that we can read about it here and there, how Kabbalists used to do that., yes. After that, they took an example, the Crusaders, took some example from that, it’s a different story, it’s a different thing but they took some example from there where they would also go on somewhere. Okay, we'll talk about these things at some point, there are some very interesting details there, yes. Not only the Crusaders, the Crusades, but also other people who used to behave in similar ways in different forms.

3. S. (13:56) “Mine is yours and yours is yours, Hesed, mercy”, and if the whole world would behave in such a way, that's a good state, what he says here: mine is yours and yours is yours. But the state that we see today, or I personally see it, “mine is mine and yours is mine”, so what’s he talking about, we're getting worse every day, everything is mine?

R.  I don't understand what you're asking”

S.  He says, “mine is yours and yours”.

R.  Yes opposite than what needs to be, then what?

S.  So he says that “if everyone would be willing to give everything he has to the others and not take anything else, that's what causes all the lies”. So what I understand is that without the lies we can’t live in this world, actually?

R.  Of course not.

S. So why not?

R.  Because the world, itself, is arranged in such a way that it’s built on falsehood, only.

S. So what does that mean, that we have to live in a world of lies and turn it into truth?

R. Yes, yes.

S. How does that happen?

R. “That which the Creator has made, you shall follow, you shall do”, that’s what we need.

S. How do we invert it into the truth?

R.  By raising MAN and forcing the Creator to change the world, certainly it’s not “we” who do it, but the upper force does however it's based in our MAN.

S. So that's my question: Do we see the whole world is speaking truth?

R.  We will see that, yes.

S.  Just like that?

R.  Yes.

S.  What does that mean, suddenly everyone loves each other?

R.  This is called “through recognition of evil”.

S.  It’s not Gmar Tikkun?

R.  That's on our way to the end of Correction.

S. I see, thank you

4. S. (16:17) So He sent us to make money off one another and the conditions He gave. How can we hasten reaching this despair from our work and our exertion in this world in order to reach a true prayer because eventually the times aren’t to our good?

R. The times are great, from day-to-day we see that there is no solution in this world through our reason, so we have to do what the Creator demands, meaning only through the connection. So it all depends on as much as we understand that through the connection we will correct the world, and as much as the connection seems opposite of what can really happen, that's even better, that it's even better. Then we will really cry and demand that the Creator will give us the correction, and in the connection we will start discovering the new world because the connection is the system of the new world. What is there here, we discovered from day-to-day is a lack of connection, the opposite form: hatred, rejection, and so on. So, it is great, what are we lacking? That we will understand that the connection comes from above and that's what we have to ask for.

S. How do we get to this critical mass that will bring about change, the required change, in order to actually begin correction?

R. By teaching everybody, and on one hand, people discovered as much as they have no hope in reaching peace, on one hand; and on the other hand, they will understand that there's no choice and then they will come to the true prayer.

S.  Do we need to prepare ourselves to receive more blows and suffering?

R.  No, not suffering, we have to prepare ourselves to reach recognition of truth.

5. S. (19:14) I want to continue the questions on how the world continues as it is and nothing can be changed. So in our life we see this day after day and there’s really no reason to invest in all these organizations, we see all the attempts, nothing is working.

R. So we have to understand that it doesn't work, we still don't understand that it’s not working, where we still are not convinced that it doesn't work, that's why it's happening.

S. So exactly about this point I want to ask: where is that point where, let’s say, the person decides, “okay there's no solution there”. What needs to happen so that a person will really be despaired from looking for a solution in this direction?

R.  That he’ll really want to attain the truth and discover that it’s impossible, and then nothing's left, neither life or dead, what is left? That'll be the state where people will stand and cry and raise their hands to the sky and in such a way the world will reach a state of correction. That then the Creator will bring the correct form on us, yes.

6. S. (21:30) In looking at history and reading books, you see that man is always conducting wars, everyone is trying to rob the other and get rich and it seems that there is a very delicate balance between living well and war, so what is humanity missing, why can’t the human understand this and above all, why is there such a difficulty to explain this as well?

R. Everything, the whole reason we cannot build the correct relationships between us, and as much as we are able, we discover that we are corrupt and corrupting, the reason is one, the Creator doesn't let us do it. The Creator won’t let us organize the world and He wants us to understand in a very fundamental way where the reason is. And the reason is that we don't just need to organize the world that it will be a good place, that we will feel good in it, even good for everybody, but that we would reach the balance of the world, the correction of the world, in a way that the world will be corrected in a spiritual way, in a spiritual way. That we won’t calculate towards one another that everything will be okay, that everyone will get paid, everyone will be happy or satisfied, the Creator can do that on His own. We need to understand: what do we need to do? Something that He, Himself, won't be able to do for us, that's why He created the world in a special way. That's the question: in the world we lack nothing except for our participation, our desire for something that the Creator can’t do, Himself, what is that? That's the question, you write that before you and after that you tell me.

7. S. (25:04) You just spoke about some balance that will bring humanity to a spiritual state. We see that Baal HaSulam really proves in a detailed and scientific manner that each of these four attributes contradicts the other and cancel out the other; so how can we explain to the external world through dissemination about the existence of a fifth attribute that creates the balance. So the question is whether the fifth attribute includes all the four attributes in it, in balance or it cancel out all the previous four attributes?

R. That's something we also have to scrutinize, you’re right.

8. S. (25:55) It feels like there's ‘an obstacle in front of the blind man’, here. On the one hand, we can’t solve anything without the help of the Creator but then on the other hand I can turn to the Creator without the desire I get from the Creator. It is a circle from which you cannot break free from?

R. We are exactly now learning now, how is this called? The Peace in the World, how to reach a state of peace in the world? I guess by understanding that is impossible to reach it, that we don't even understand what such a state can be, peace in the world. Even though we have all the possibilities, we won't be able to put together a reality of peace in the world. Imagine for yourself, please give me a picture of peace in the world, please, I’m ready to hear.

S. It is not the point, the point is that if I don't receive a desire for spirituality, to reveal the Creator, I will never think of the Creator as the solution, I will always think about coming up with another invention and that will solve the problems in the world. If I don't have no desire for spirituality I’ll never reach the Creator and the Creator is the one who giving me the desire for that spirituality.

R. Okay

9. S. (28:13) I'm curious about the perspective of the political system in a world of peace, in a world of balance. And we know what we read about Baal HaSulam that he has some vision of ‘religious communism’, ‘communism with the Creator’, what is your comment on this?

R.  We will live and see, we still need to develop; even though Baal HaSulam said that we are already in the last generation, it could be, it is the last stage but we haven't still reach the decisions of the last Generations: what do we need in order to decide correctly for ourselves, for our destiny, for a future and so on, that’s a problem, yes.

S.  Since childhood I’ve had a dream that in the future there will be one world state. Not Turkey, Israel, Russia, this and that, but one world state. What do you think about this opinion, I know that Baal Shem Tov(?) also talks about the ‘eternal state’, based on the spiritual worlds.

R. The fact that there's one society, not a country, but one society upon all the earth, I think that, yes, that will be the end of development of all the nations of the world that will connect you such a way, yes.

S. Also, can we say that we will be, . . . . Hashem, of course, are we going to be the Galgalta ve Eynaim. I’m asking because now people who are yearning for spirituality are in the bottom. People do not respect, people do not care, people laugh at you when you say you are searching for the Creator, bestowal, love, they say, “ah, you leaving in Disneyland”. How do, the order, the hierarchy of society?

R.  Order in society will be kept if people will know and feel what we have to keep in order for everyone to reach a state that it will be good for everyone. I don't support communism, I was already in socialism in Russia once, I grew up there until I was twenty-five, roughly, I saw these things, this complete lie. I think we need to still reach a state where we understand that society needs to be such that is managed by the upper rule. The upper rule means that everyone agrees to live in a relative way to everyone else, that what everyone needs, the necessaries, and each one will receive that, and that each one by this is concerned about the others; and feels that otherwise, he also will not have anything but that’s not what he's concerned about because otherwise it is impossible, otherwise it is impossible. We will reach it; we are already in steps that are close to it.

S. You said that we are close, I understand, but two thousand years ago Rabbi Akiva also said we are also close and he declared “[Hebrew]”. And ARI also told his students that we are going to “[Hebrew]” and also in the time of Baal HaSulam and have always dreamed that this is the last generation, that this is the time of salvation and Mashiach is here, next year” [Hebrew]”. So how can we be sure that we are exactly in front of Gmar Tikkun, exactly in front of this salvation, I cannot be sure?

R. I don't think that anybody is promising you that you are right before salvation, right before Gmar Tikkun but all in all humanity, for the first time, is starting to digest that they are in a dead-end and they must solve this problem of the ego, and that is already a very important stage, first towards the correction.

10. S. (34:33) We learn, for years, in getting ready to explain to people what to do in a time of crisis but in a time of crisis there’s a feeling that it’s time to explain something, but when you start doing it, you see that people just repeat some slogans they hear on the news, they don’t want to hear anything more about doing some actions of healing. I’m not even going to talk about what we hear here and now so who do you turn to and with what? Meaning if people don’t want to hear anything besides some single decision that they are hearing about and being convinced about from outside?

R.  If you’re speaking about the right now, this date, obviously there's no solution because we are in a state of two contradicting forces that are standing and do not know what to do. And I think that this still has to be solved but from above, that not according to one order or the other order but according to us understanding that all in all, we need to get rid of weapons, to get rid of weapons. With weapons we will never reach corrections, that's why it is written, how is it written?

S. That “they use their swords and must stop using their swords”, something like that. 

R. Only that

11.S. (37:20) We see that the four attributes that Baal HaSulam talks about, are something that basically builds or tries to build society, and following your words, we see that the war that is created between the two opposing forces is because each one is trying to force on the other these four attributes, why did the Creator give us these attributes?

R. We need to reach the degree of the Creator, “and you will be as God who knows good and bad”, that's why we need to go through all this. We ourselves are saying, “let it be, whatever will be, it can be good that's it, I don't have to know all of this philosophy and all these calculations, I don't want to know anything just let it be good. But the Creator, no, He wants us to understand the plan of creation and why it can only be solved in such a way from all the problems.

S. How does the person in whom these attributes arise, it's something that lives in you, you always demand that, you always want to reach that, what is the award that the person needs to go with that?

R. That we have to read about more.

12. Reader. (39:04) We have another question and we can read the quote from Isiah(?), the prophesy about the end of Days, he writes this: “And they continued to use their swords and stop using their spears and swords from between nations to nation, and they will be not know war”  and know more(?)”

13. S. (39:37) What is the stage in humanity’s understanding that it’s the Creator who prevents us from organizing the world?

R.  Of course, the Creator is the cause, He organized everything in a way that we won't be able to solve it but only with His help; that until we scrutinize in each and every detail in the system He created, we will never reach a solution.

S. I'm asking about humanity beginning to digest this stage, what is that stages in humanity understanding it’s the Creator who doesn't let us organize our relationship?

R. Also now a lot of people in humanity can say that it’s the Creator causing this, who else? That's not a problem that people will say it, the Creator is not excited by that, by bringing us through all kind of suffering to state of despair, and only by feeling this despair and be willing to do everything then He will organize the correction for us.

S. How will this understanding that the Creator causes everything, how does it have to do with recognition of evil, where does it take place?

R.  Recognition of evil in that nature that the Creator created in us and when we know this nature, along with it, we also want to know as much as we give gratitude that He created us in such a way that we can discover one thing through its opposite, and then we thank Him for everything he did to us.

13. S. (41:50) Asking about an excerpt from yesterday, in the second part of Peace In The World of Baal HaSulam, base in what I understood, Baal HaSulam wrote that, “the destructors are those who detail peace, who break a peace apart even though they come back to power”. You said that ‘the right’ side of politics actually wants to bring peace and is considered ‘the constructors’; how can you say that, unequivocally, if both in ‘the left’ and in ‘the right’, politically, you can find values of peace because we can also determine it based on other perspectives and values of peace?

R. Look, that's what I'm saying, you can say something else, I'm not going into arguments. I go according to the line of Rabash and Baal HaSulam and the rest of the Kabbalists, that they don’t listen ‘the beautiful souls’ in [commas(?)] speaking about and all those who are pushing us into peace with their cousins here. But we need to keep the state in order to exist; otherwise, we won't be able to exist in the world. That’s it? everything has calmed down; so we are closer to the peace.

14. S. (44:09) Maybe a summary, we started studying TES today, you also gave us an exercise to clarify from in TES?

R.  I don't have the forces, what can I tell you? Maybe we will ask the Women, by the way?
