Preparation to “Life in the Ten” Convention - Selected Excerpts from the sources #5

Reading Item #5 (00:25 and 2:00) Twice.

1. S. (03:40) I'm really excited like a little child. We also had a preparation meeting for the congress. I'm reading Rabash’s quotes now and before my eyes I feel like I have a toy at home and finally I grew up enough to understand how to play with it. It's really beautiful. We read now our Ten gathered and we started to speak of love of friends, of how much we love one another, to speak of the merit of the friends and then there is a flame that started to grow and each one felt the great force as it is written here. We also, we’re privileged to take part in the congress as a Ten and to prepare the friends for the lesson, one of the lessons, the first lesson, and following what I learned today I wanted to ask, what is the correct order? Do we first need to awaken the importance of the Creator, the power that assembled us, maybe He has an expectation of us or, we can love among the friends and from the love among the friends we might also reveal that force? What comes first when we prepare ourselves for this gathering?

R. Everything begins from above. Everything begins from above and therefore with the upper desire we first need to implement that and then afterward layers upon layers until it reaches our desire, where in our desire there is already enough to do. If we would organize all of the desires of the Creator toward us then certainly we would correct ourselves, that we have nothing to ask for and do, that is all. I hope that we will get on top of that.

2. S. (06:18) (no translation) How should we feel in the greatness towards the friends?

R. What he feels in his heart toward friends he needs to express that, he needs to bring that out of his heart to disclose it first to himself and afterward to the friends. It is his duty, his obligation, he needs to do that.

S. His duty?

R. Meaning I don't come to the convention in order to sit there like at a theater, I come to the convention in order to implement my obligation towards the friends which I can do through this awakening that is there, here in the place of the convention, and in all of its branches around the world. I need to be impressed from them, and I need to try so that it will be revealed in the whole world. It is a great thing.

3. S. (07:55) How to be present in the Congress each moment and not to miss this great opportunity that comes to us?

R. To try to seek the inner point of the convention and to enter into it, and to hide in it, to hide in it, to conceal himself in there, on the other hand to disclose as it was written here to disclose one’s attitude toward everyone.

S. What is the inner point of the Congress?

R. The inner point of the convention is that we come to one heart. What else can you say?

S. What does it mean to hide in that inner point?

R. Here in the Ten, in the world Ten, in each and every friend, in one’s self.

S. Can we look for it together as a Ten or as individuals, because the congress is built in Tens, in life in the Ten.

R. We speak about it in both ways.

S. I think there is an inner point in a person through which he connects to the Ten and there is a point, an inner point in the Ten through which he connects to the world group.

R. Yes.

S. A few times you said that it is important that a person is not going to come to be here as if it is a theater but to be active. 

R. Yes.

S. What is the active action of a person, beyond that hands and feet and service and all that, but the other side. What is the inner action of a person in the congress?

R. I want to be in the center of the connection of hearts. The spirit of the convention I want to be constantly in that.

S. What other words can I use to express that? I needed to dwell in others, this is my role or to want it to dwell in others to pray?

R. Yes, to pray to want to request and to truly appear in that.

S. It has to be expressed externally somehow or are we talking about some inner work?

R. It could be in something external.

S. Beyond participation?

R. No, all of our work is in any case inside of us.

5. S. (14:32) I heard that from the inner point we have to enter into everyone?

R. Yes.

S. Enter where, what does it mean to enter into everyone?

R. That inner point, at the end of it all it needs to be one point for everyone.

S. I, as one, where should I enter?

R. You need to enter the inner central point of a Convention.

S. What is there?

R. The point of the desire where we all connect to it.

6. S. (15:25) In the Congress we are going to have men and women and it says that men and the women and divinity between them and you will define in detail what is the role of the man and what is the role of the woman in that instrument called Adam? In this congress it’s going to work in mutuality and each one will give his all correctly so that divinity will be revealed between us?

R. I don't think that there is a difference between men and women other than what they themselves feel and I don't make any differentiation between them. I don't see that this needs to happen.

S. Meaning the masculine part, meaning the man and the woman sitting in the Congress are making the same moves and they have the same revelations?

R. As we studied.

S. What does it mean that the man and the woman and divinity between them?

R. Man and woman, Shechina between them, divinity between them is not at the Convention it is the connection between the two. I'm not mixing them together. Between man and woman you have a special connection and there is a connection of whoever studies the Wisdom of Kabbalah, they come and connect in order to reveal the connection between them, the Creator between them. That is clear right, so there will not be any confusion.

7. S. (17:40) I want to ask about the central point of the Congress. We don't have Congresses, mirror congresses around the world. There will be a central congress here and many mirror congresses around the world, also virtual participation. This point is one point for all of us? Is it a personal point, what is that central point of the Congress?

R. One heart, one desire that we all connect to, we build that desire, we all are in it and we in that really build it that one heart, one vessel, one desire, one passion, one yearning, to that we pray for it to exist.

S. What is the act of building of that one heart, that we build it?

R. The connection between us that we establish that central point of connection.

S. How do you act from that oneness from that one heart from the center of the congress all the time?

R. Where else can you act from? I don't understand you. What else do I need to do other than constantly revealing that central point and elevating it higher and higher.?

S. What will be considered a successful congress for us?

R. That we will feel that we are together in one desire, that we made an ascent in this desire to a high place with the help of the Creator who acted on us and that raised us and even more, so we don't need more than that. 

8. S. (20:40) We don't like that we are being loved more than we are able to return that love. Is this a point where we have to be active in the congress?

R. That that they love us more than we can give back, that obligates us more to act in return. We need to let everyone enter our heart in an open heart and then we can absorb everyone.

S. That is the place of work in the congress to build love above this repulsion, rejection?

R. Yes. 

9. S. (21:42) We will have four lessons in the congress. Before every congress we will have a social time. We are sitting in the lesson themselves in the social time in our Tens and they said that during the meal we will be mixed. The question is during the social time is it also part of the lesson with you or to take place in the Tens because it is almost an hour and then the two more hours a lesson, so that is the question, what will be there in social time?

R. That is what you guys need to answer.

S. First of all, social time has several goals. First of all, it’s a time that we all do together, all around the world, it’s part of the congress, yes it is a shared action, broadcast live from here led by one of the Tens each time. The purpose of it is for us to create a heartfelt, very emotional connection, a preparation for the lesson that will give us a spirit of the gathering of friends, a spirit of the article of Rabash that we are going to study in the lesson, and it will also prepare us for the lesson. It will cook us in such a way that we will come as a vessel to the lesson then Rav can pour into it everything we need in order to develop. Also during the social time and the lesson we are sitting in our permanent Tens and in the meals we just mix, we just mingle with everyone. 

R. Is there anything to say on behalf of the doctors and sick people?

S. No, everything is okay. We’ll be fine with the health as long as everyone is aimed at the goal.

10. S. (25:34) We have the last 24 hours before us. Maybe you can recommend how we can prepare externally and internally in these next 24 hours as we enter the event?

R. Tomorrow morning is already the Congress, so what to do?

S. How to take these 24 hours to prepare ourselves as correctly as possible so we will enter it.

R. For each one there is something individual. We cannot determine for each one what to do. Once we used to go for dips in the sea. Today you guys are already old, and they say that there is rain outside so I can't drag you to the sea but whoever wants, the main thing is to prepare yourself so that afterwards you will not need to run home if you like something. For example medicines or I don't know what, also care for their kids so that they will be organized and that is how I think everything will get along and it will be okay.
