Part 2:

Baal HaSulam. "Study of the Ten Sefirot" (TES). Vol. 2. Part 6. Inner Observation. #14

Reading Inner Observation Item 14. (00:34) “We must thoroughly understand…”

1. S. (06:07) When does the coupling of AB, SAG that reaches the Parsa happen?

R. When the records of four-three are revealed in the Rosh of SAG.

S. It's in Nekudim, right?

R. Correct.

S. And then Atzilut, Yetzira and Assiya?

R. What happens there?

S. As I understood, the Parsa is for the purpose of Beria, not for the purpose of Nekudim?

R. That's what we say, but the Parsa stands above the world of Beria. Atzilut is the world of Atzilut, Beria is already the world of Beria.

S. The Parsa is not reached anymore?

R. Parsa only in Gmar Tikkun, we will learn what happens to it exactly, but what is happening right now until Gmar Tikkun, the end of correction, is that it shatters with the shattering of the vessels. There are vessels that enter coupling in Gadlut of the Rosh of Nekudim, and then that light breaks the Parsa.

S. Is this called taken from above and given below?

R. No.

S. What does that mean?

R. It means that if the Parsa is established correctly, so through the couplings on the records, you can raise and lower the Parsa, raise it and lower it, and then it works like a pump. That it raises vessels that now enter the correction above and then it goes back down when it connects to vessels that haven't been corrected yet. And then rises up with them again. That's how the Parsa keeps working until the end of correction, until below it, what remains below the Parsa, below all the corrections, such phases that we cannot correct, the stony heart.

S. When we say the Parsa elevates the vessels, she doesn't really elevate, right? There's just filled with light and we regard them as ascending?

R. Supposedly or not, that's not important, we don't talk like that.

2. S. (09:20) What is the difference between breaking the Parsa and breaking the screen?

R. It's the same thing, it's the same thing, and we don't have this and that.

S. Why are Beria, Yetzira, and Assiya regarded as worlds and not as Partzufim?

R. Because they have the same structure, like the world of Atzilut. They ascend to the world of Atzilut under certain conditions and incorporate there, they clothe upon the world of Atzilut, one against the other and all five parts. That is in each and every world, and for that reason, they are called worlds. Also later after all the vessels are corrected, these vessels are already, they exist in their own place, and they become whole, complete worlds.

Reading  Inner Observation item 15. (11:02) “This correction of the return of Bina…” Twice.

3. S. (22:21) He writes that there is HaVaYaH, filled with Yud and HaVaYaH filled with Vav, between AB and SAG. What are these fulfillments, are they lights within the Partzuf?

R. Yes, of course.

4. S. (22:50) What does it mean that the Parsa ascends and what does it mean that it descends?

R. The Parsa is a place where the world of Atzilut ends. It is a stop between the world of Atzilut and the worlds of BYA. That border between them called the Parsa ascends and descends.

S. He says that the bottom Hey, Malchut, does the actions, she lacks GAR, she lacks the upper sefirot and she has to complete herself. So, what is the Parsa, basically, what is the role of the Parsa, and how does it serve Malchut?

R. The role of the Parsa is the border that can change its state, its location.

S. Because it gives?

R. By that its vessels can, if they are above, they can go below the Parsa and the opposite. The vessels that are below that receive corrections can ascend above the Parsa.

S. When the lower one rises to the upper one, what does it elevate, itself or the broken records?

R. That depends on which state we are talking about.

S. The excerpt we just read, what is the purpose of these whole ascents and descents?

R. The ascents and descents are like a pump that it raises upward vessels that can be there and lowers below vessels that cannot be above.

S. But these records, Nekudot of SAG that descended in met Malchut, they discover that they are powerless to rise.

R. Right?

S. So, the purpose is the purpose for the lower one to ascend or it needs to scrutinize something?

R. The purpose is that the lower one will scrutinize that they fell into the lower one, they'll scrutinize exactly who they are, what they are, and what they are lacking in order to ascend.

5. S. (25:53) What does it mean that there is HaVaYah in the specific vessel and that in one time it can receive it, in this light or that light, this filling or that filling?

R. HaVaYah is a structure without fillings, without anything. That is the structure that must be in creation from beginning to end, it is all divided into such HaVaYot, HaVaYah in each and every state. And that is why, I have not changed, HaVaYah, as it is written, that is it.

S. So what changes between HaVaYah being located in one place where she can receive this light, or being placed in a different position where she receives a different light?

R. It depends on the external conditions, and on what world it is in. HaVaYah it’s like a whole Partzuf.

S. So can we call HaVaYah a vessel?

R. Yes.

S. But what I thought was that a vessel is a certain shape, it receives a certain light and light is not the vessel, it’s an initial form of a vessel, it’s a structure.

R. A structure.

S. So we have this structure and from this structure comes all the vessels?

R. Yes.

6. S. (27:35) It says that there is the first Rosh where the bottom Hey never descends; and in the second Rosh, the bottom Hey of the Parsa ascends and descends. He says that there are corrections there, where the Parsa conceals her and at that time her forces are not given below. Why is it that it’s concealed from the second Rosh that the Parsa cannot come down, descend? Why is it regarded as a correction?

R. What state are you speaking about exactly?

S. Reading Inner Observation Item 15. The difference that was made in the Nikvey Einayim of the first Rosh, called YESHSUT, is never canceled with respect to the Bina and ZON that went out from it, since there it is regarded as the beginning of Atzilut, which is not subject to change.

Besides the above said, there is another special correction in the Parsa: It hides and conceals the force of the bottom Hey in the Nikvey Einayim of the first Rosh, so it does not impart below when the AHP returns to the Rosh. Had it not imparted down to the second Rosh, the bottom Hey of the second Rosh would have been unable to descend from the Nikvey Einayim to the Peh, since the force of the upper one always dominates its lower one. However, the Parsa conceals it, and her power is not imparted below at that time and remember that.

R. You have an answer for him? Where are you?

Reading Inner Observation Item 15. (30:31) “However, the difference that was made in the Nikvey Einayim of the first Rosh, Called YESHSUT...”

R. Yes.

S. It sounds like there was a cunningness that there was a concealment so that the lower one would not know that he could not bring the Parsa downward.

R. And, then it breaks.

S. Yes, it breaks, so why is that a correction, he says there is such a correction.

R. The breaking is a correction, the breaking is a correction. All of the operations from the beginning of creation to the end of creation is only corrections with respect to the lower ones.

S. How does it work on us, what is concealed from us that we can constantly make mistakes and not hold on?

R. From us, the actions, the most fundamental operations are concealed, that it is forbidden to receive in order to receive. That there is no benefit from the connection between us, elementary things.

S. And that stems from this first concealment?

R. Yes, everything stems from the first concealment.

S. Because until this stage, it was like the Upper one was completely working on the lower one.

R. Yes.

S. Suddenly here, there is a concealment; there is a force above the upper one that the lower one doesn't know about.

R. Yes, to make a place for the created beings, this cessation, this stop, was made.
