Part 3: The power of Internal Dissemination of the Ten.

Reader: (00:03) Hello, we're in a lesson in the topic of The Power of the Internal Dissemination of the Ten. We are in number two. Baal HaSulam, A Speech for the Completion of the Zohar. Baal HaSulam tells us:

Reading: (00:18) The body with its organs are one. The whole of the body exchanges thoughts and sensations with each of its organs. For example, if the whole body thinks that a certain organ should serve it and please it, this organ immediately knows that thought and provides the contemplated pleasure. Also, if an organ thinks and feels that the place it is in is narrow, the rest of the body immediately knows that thought and sensation and moves it to a comfortable place.

However, should an organ be cut off from the body, they become two separate entities; the rest of the body no longer knows the needs of the separated organ, and the organ no longer knows the thoughts of the body, to serve it and to benefit it. But if a physician came and reconnected the organ to the body as before, the organ would once again know the thoughts and needs of the rest of the body, and the rest of the body would once again know the needs of the organ.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (02:22) We were cut off the body of that soul of Adam HaRishon. Is that right?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: So, what's the point where we need to concentrate our efforts so that the doctor connects us back?

M. Laitman: The doctor knows. We don't.

Student: So, we have to turn to the doctor to connect us.

M. Laitman: Yes, of course. We don't know ourselves and our place. We don't know the upper one to

which we need to connect and also the doctor that is above the upper one and above us, the thought of creation, Him too we don't know. We can only from our state ask. That's what he's telling us here.

Reader: (03:32) Excerpt #3. RABASH, Article No. 503. Partnership.

As the body has a head and hands and legs, and each one has its special role, and what the mind thinks, meaning if there are good thoughts in the mind, then all the organs are happy, and if the mind is troubled, so is the mood in all the organs. It is like a partnership, where if each one does his job, everyone is happy, as it is written, “which God has created to do,” for there is nothing without labor.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (04:37) The first three quotes we read describe a very determined system, cogwheels in the body, the body with the organs but a personal experience by man, even though it might be false, it's of himself, an individual control. He something moves on its own. In reality, how to wake up from this lie?

M. Laitman: From what?

Student: That a person is independent and control of his life and somewhat, or maybe it's not a lie. Maybe he is in control.

M. Laitman:. He controls only one thing. The thing that we call free choice. He has no choice in anything else.

Student: And what is this free choice in a complete determined system?

M. Laitman:. As it is written, one way or another, you're living by it, you're dying by it, and you are born with it. So, what do you have from that? You have free choice in what? In the fact that you're disconnected from the Creator or connected to Him seemingly. Because certainly also you're not disconnecting from the Creator, but you need to see yourself as an inseparable part of creation and that as a result of this, you need to observe that which is planned for you to observe.

Student: So, if it's already planned on me that I'll do it, so how can I either flaw it or make it better?

M. Laitman:. You can either agree or not agree with it, but it doesn't matter. It's not important. You need to do what is needed. Except that according to the upper one's will, he puts it upon you to accept it willingly on your behalf. The fact that you will do it, it's for sure. If not now, there are other incarnations or other states. But one way or another, you need to try and agree with the upper force and to be in adhesion with it, in equivalence.

Student: To agree with what?

M. Laitman:. With the plan of creation.

Student: Which is? Doesn't it already happen?

M. Laitman: That you have to, with your forces, search for ways to come to identifying with the upper force.

Student: Every moment a person is alive, the plan of creation is working on him.

M. Laitman:. Yes.

Student: So, what's he lacking?

M. Laitman: What's missing is your agreement.

Student: Where is that agreement? That a person can feel that this I have to agree with, and now I'm not agreeing with it. Where is that point of choice?

M. Laitman:. The point of choice is above your desire.

Student: So that's above my recognition. Above a person's desire. What does it mean, above his desire?

M. Laitman:. Yes, of course.

Student: So, if it's above his recognition, he doesn't feel it?

M. Laitman: He doesn't feel? You can see it on you?

Student: So how can he choose something he doesn't feel?

M. Laitman: What's demanded of you is for you to rise to a state where you will feel that it is in you, in your necessities, that you are obligated to observe it, to the good or to the bad, and that you choose the good.

Student: But a person works from his feeling and mind, he has to make choices, right?

M. Laitman:. Well?

Student: Because now I heard, I read, so I'm telling myself now I'm choosing, you have to really feel it, you have to really choose it, you have to say this is what I want even though I don't want it.

M. Laitman:. Then you are given the possibility to build a device of the way you relate to what's happening to you, and from that you will get to know the system, and you will scrutinize your free choice.

Student: So, our work in society increases my sensitivity to the place of choice?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (10:19) This document is called, “The Power of Internal Dissemination in the Ten.” Now we read about a body and organs, and also Baal HaSulam writes in the article 600,000 Souls that there's one soul, and each one, his ego is what separates him from that soul. So, a Ten is an organ. How to take what we just read into the Ten. That there's a head, and hands, and a body, and organs, that's what we read. So how is it in the Ten?

M. Laitman:. The Ten is, the Ten is that organ. We shouldn't say an organ, but, well, it's greater than a person by which he is integrated in the general desire.

Student: The general body that can be felt and to be part of that general body. So, what is that? It's not the Ten, or is it?

M. Laitman: The general Kli is the whole corrected desire to receive.

Student: He can connect to that body through the Ten?

M. Laitman:. Gradually. First through the Ten, and then through other Tens, and thousands, etc.

Student: How can a person connect to that body also without the Ten?

M. Laitman:. No, the Ten is along the way.

Student: So, if he wants to connect to the general body and implement what you told the friend, the thought of creation, and understand it, he must on the way search for a few friends to connect with.

M. Laitman: Incorporate into the Ten and then hundreds and then thousands etc.

Student: What's the inner force of dissemination in the Ten, what does that mean?

M. Laitman:. The inner force?

Student: Yes, the document is called the inner dissemination in the Ten.

M. Laitman: That if according to the desire to receive where each is part of the general system, then each accordingly also impacts the general system.

Student: Through the Ten?

M. Laitman:. Yes, of course, gradually in Tens and hundreds, and thousands, etc.

Student: So that's a true dissemination that we want to bestow to the whole system, and we can do it internally through the Ten?

M. Laitman:. Exactly.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (13:41) A Ten that will work good inside themselves.

M. Laitman:. Yes.

Student: What should they project?

M. Laitman: They need to project a mini wholeness where if Ten are connected together, they can reach the recognition of everything within them.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (14:23) What's the connection between the Tens? Because in the Torah, it says that there was someone responsible that connected to the other Tens. How is it? Can I, as an individual, be connected to another Ten?

M. Laitman:. No, through the Ten. You can connect through your Ten to another Ten, please. But alone, no.

Student: That's clear, but what did it mean that there was one responsible? Or was it just like an administration?

M. Laitman: There were those who were responsible for the functioning of those who were above the Tens.

Student: But from within the Ten, there was like a minister of the hundreds and thousands, and they connected between the other Tens?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: So, I guess for us, it's going to be in the future?

M. Laitman:. We will see. I don't know how we're going to discover that, but we will discover what we need to along the way as long as we arrange what we must do today.

Student: What are we lacking today?

M. Laitman: Today, we're lacking connection according to what the Creator demands.

Student: Because most of the Tens keep the external conditions at least. So, what's the inner condition we're lacking?

M. Laitman: The internal condition is the connection between them. That there needs to be a connection between the friends, in each and every Ten, so that they will feel themselves belonging to one closed system through their Ten and then, as much as they feel that they must connect, to connect in a manner that they will all be as one in the Ten, in the hundreds, in the thousands, then according to that, it will be possible to talk about revealing the general system, the system of creation, which will be revealed in us all and we will start to understand.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (17:00) If every Ten is like an organ in the body?

M. Laitman:. Yes.

Student: Right now, we have to focus every organ working inside itself.

M. Laitman:. Yes.

Student: So how to feel the whole body while working in the organ itself?

M. Laitman: That what we receive, and we have the feeling that's coming from the outside, it's not outside of us. It's in the more general Tens.

Student: What do we receive? What does the Ten receive from another Ten?

M. Laitman: We can't discuss that now. It'll confuse you. Of course, that every Ten affects the other Tens.

Student: Okay, now, what's the connection between the inner composition of the Ten, the composition of the souls of the Ten. I don't know how to say it and the bodies of that Ten, those flesh and blood bodies in the Ten?

M. Laitman:. We're not talking about the bodies. Each and every body, it's an animal.

Student: This animal, I can replace it with another animal? If we're not talking about it?

M. Laitman: You can't just change it.

Student: Why, so we are talking about it?

M. Laitman:. It has nothing to do with changing it.

Student: So, I didn't understand what is a Ten. What is the Ten made up of?

M. Laitman: From desires. That in each and every one of us, there are ten deficiencies, ten desires, that in them we can connect with one another.

Student: These desires, what's the connection between the desires and the people? Are they the carriers of those desires? Who are they?

M. Laitman: Yes, that's what each and every one feels. His desires and through them he feels the desires of the others. So all in all, those desires is the person, and not flesh.

Student: Okay, I'm nevertheless trying to understand the connection with these bodies, the flesh and blood that's sitting here.

M. Laitman:. He has no freedom of choice, he doesn't even have a life. But the souls bring them to life.

Student: Today there's this composition of the Ten, tomorrow it can change. Someone can leave, someone can join, someone can be replaced, that doesn't have an influence?

M. Laitman: It does.

Student: Why should it have an impact?

M. Laitman:. Because that's in our imaginary world, and this way we can talk about people. We still don't know the soul in us, the way the souls connect between them.

Student: And the souls have a special connection between them?

M. Laitman: Spirit to spirit.

Student: The more we connect, what will actually happen? What does it then mean, the connection between the Tens? What happens in the internal system, that's what I'm asking.

M. Laitman:. What's the internal system?

Student: In the more spiritual layer. Not in the bodies. Yes, the desires. What will happen when we connect more in the Ten, when each Ten connects?

M. Laitman:. They connect to one desire of the Ten.

Student: When we connect to one Ten, what does that mean? Two Tens that each operated within itself and connected will become one big greater Ten?

M. Laitman:. Yes.

Student: Each Ten that was beforehand gets cancelled, gets nullified and joins the one?

M. Laitman: They don't feel it. It's less than what you have now in the feeling.

Student: So, in the end, Bnei Baruch, what does it become, one Ten?

M. Laitman:. Yes.

Student: The more we advance, one then does the world, the circles?

M. Laitman: It's always only one Ten according to its size or its intensity. It's always Ten Sefirot.

Student: What is there in the end of correction?

M. Laitman: Everyone connects into one. Then one receives one.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (21:56) I wanted, let's say he talked here about the Rosh and Guf, the body and the heart. I'm sorry, body and head. When we connect to Bnei Baruch, do we build a Rosh, or do we build the Rosh and the Guf, the head and the body?

M. Laitman: You are building a Partzuf. That has a Rosh, Toch, Sof.

Student: What is this with the nations of the world and with the state where we connect eventually to the system, and connect it to ourselves?

M. Laitman:. If we connect together, we reach a Partzuf. There is a Rosh, Toch, Sof.

Student: The whole world is not built as Tens. The Tens are only in what we know.

M. Laitman: Let's say so, yes.

Student: This structure that we build between us of Ten Sefirot that work in this way, this is typical only to us. He says here that the head suffers, the body suffers.

M. Laitman:. Yes.

Student: At the end of the day, the whole of reality connects to one body.

M. Laitman:. Yes.

Student: So, when Bnei Baruch connects together, let's say, God willing in this

coming convention, there will be such a connection. The rest of the world, what's its relationship with us?

M. Laitman: There are groups, or people, individuals, that are all along with us. Does it matter if they're from Turkey or from Germany? Doesn’t matter. So, they are with us, and whoever isn't with us is actually the whole world except for our groups and our individuals that we have all over the world. So, the rest of people aren't in the system yet. They also need to be, to be part of our studies, part of our organization, to incorporate with us, in the system, to know what they exist for, and so on, until they incorporate also. Then we reach a state that everyone connects as one man, completely. All of reality. It doesn't matter if Turkish, or German, or French, or Japanese. Everyone.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (25:10) I hear you saying a lot that our entire connection we need to do with the external world through the Ten, with other Tens through my Ten. What does it mean that you're connecting with others through your Ten?

M. Laitman: That you're in your Ten, and you annul towards the friends, and along with other friends, when they annul to one another compared to the others, all this annulment of the Ten connects like one man towards another man. Or one Ten towards a different Ten. Then each one that annuls himself towards the other Ten, they reach a connection, an incorporation.

Student: I didn't really understand. What's the difference between whether I'm connecting with friends from another Ten that is not through my Ten, and I'm connecting with friends from another Ten, yes through my Ten.

M. Laitman: It's a very big difference between connecting through a system or not through a system.

Student: What does that mean? I don't understand.

M. Laitman: If you're just connecting to another Ten just like that, so it's not considered a spiritual connection.

Student: So, what action did I do before I connect to another Ten such that I'm actually connecting through my Ten? What is that inner connection that I'm doing?

M. Laitman: The inner action is that you're incorporated in a Ten.

Student: Mine.

M. Laitman: Yes, yours and through them, you awaken them to connect with a different Ten.

Student: What does that mean, through it?

M. Laitman: That you're in it. That you're awakening them, your friends in a Ten, to connect with a different group. A different Ten.

Student: That means that before I even come to connect with someone else from another Ten, I first need to be incorporated or nullified, like you're saying, inside my Ten.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: After that, if I'm acting towards some external person, then it's already from within my Ten.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: Did I understand correctly?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (28:22) From time to time you say the word Stam, action just like that. What is just like that?

M. Laitman: Stam, just like that, or merely. Just mere. As if there's no reason for it. Just like that. There's nothing about it. Just leave that word alone.

Student: How can you throw? We...

M. Laitman: Erase it. Write it on the computer and then press delete. Everywhere it exists. I have nothing else to say.

Student: I don't do a delete upon any word that Rav says. If Rav says there's an action, I'm doing it just like that.

M. Laitman: So, I guess there's no foundation or true reason for it. Just that it comes out of the air.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (29:47) Just to continue what the friend said about another Ten, disconnected from my Ten, or relation through my Ten, that same attitude. If I understood correctly, we need to relate to everything in reality through the Ten?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: Is it correct to say it that way?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: Or I'm under the authority of many or the individual authority? If I'm working through the Ten?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (30:24) So, when a person goes out to the day, to his day in the world, and he comes from the Ten, he's integrated in the Ten, how is it expressed? I go to work, I go to different interactions.

M. Laitman: Say you're a representative of your Ten now, and you appear in some kind of other connection.

Student: What is there in me?

M. Laitman: Your connection with the Ten?

Student: What does this give me that I am now washed in the flows of life, and I'm holding on to that connection?

M. Laitman: Check yourself, what you have from that.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (31:15) I wanted to ask, nevertheless, again. What is the free choice of a person in his spiritual life and in his physical life?

M. Laitman: What?

Student: Where is the freedom of choice of a person in his physical life and in his spiritual life?

M. Laitman: In his spiritual life, that's what we're talking about. Yes.

Student: What is his free choice in spiritual life?

M. Laitman: To choose every time life on a higher degree.

Student: What does it mean? What do I need to do?

M. Laitman: That the will to receive will be increased in quality more and more. That he'll be connected with the others in a different form. That he will want from his life to receive the essence of life in a different way.

Student: Is there freedom in the physical life of a person?

M. Laitman: I don't think so. I think it's all results from our choice in our spiritual life.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (32:46) Just to continue that, I also wanted to ask, when the desire to receive grows, then it's harder for him to connect with friends.

M. Laitman: Again.

Student: When the desire to receive grows, like you said now, so the connection becomes more difficult.

M. Laitman: Also, difficult practically and also spiritually.

Student: So, a person is kind of in this knot, he on one hand cannot connect with his friends, on the other hand he has to turn to the Creator, but he can't ask for himself either. So, what does a person do in such a case?

M. Laitman: He demands of himself to be suitable for what's before him. The Creator doesn't put on the way, doesn't put obstacles on the way but only for you to ascend.

Student: Exactly, but how does a person connect to that point where he feels that distance, when he feels the resistance from the friends? How can he connect to that point where the Creator actually does want to bring him closer?

M. Laitman: He's expecting the Creator to bring him closer, and the Creator does that through giving him bigger obstacles every time.

Student: Okay, yes, so how does he connect to that point that the Creator brings him closer through a greater obstacle? Because he can't ask.

M. Laitman: He can ask for forces, understanding, how to understand it, how to feel it, and in this way advance.

Student: Would it help if he asked for himself?

M. Laitman: Ask for himself to have forces to overcome the obstacles that the Creator is putting before him, and the Creator puts before him supposedly every time higher steps for him to grow.

Student: Yes, and each time he needs to choose a new?

M. Laitman: Yes. Every time, it'll be more.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (35:15) There are several questions about free choice.

M. Laitman: Well?

Student: Who are the souls with free choice, and what's their role?

M. Laitman: It's written that there is no generation that doesn't have an Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Meaning that in every generation, there are such souls, special souls, yes.

Student: Is there a role to sustain the spiritual system, or do they actually have a role towards the free choice?

M. Laitman: They have a lot of roles. People who have souls that are a bit more exalted than the others. According to the size of the soul, the depth of the soul, that's the role it got.

Student: Do not all people have free choice?

M. Laitman: Yes and no. Each one, but there will be some that their freedom of choice raises them if they perform it, so it raises them to a certain height, and they're such that they are in their place.

Student: Last question. Those who have free choice, do they need to somehow pass this on to the whole system of free choice? Do they have a role towards that?

M. Laitman: Whoever has freedom of choice has a special duty in this life. That he must reach connection with the upper force with the Creator, and according to that, every time to feel himself that he's raising himself more and more.

Student: What is his role towards the whole system?

M. Laitman: To bestow to the whole system.

Student: Which is? What will be with it? That he will be connected to the Creator?

M. Laitman: That his participation will affect the whole system, will help in all advance to its most exalted purpose.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (37:50) The convention is coming closer, and I find myself in some place of expectation of the convention, but on the other hand I'm missing the excitement like a groom was going to his wedding. Like it was like in the first conventions. Meaning, there's, I'm still young in the path. There's friends here that are ready for 30 years doing conventions and it's not like their first wedding. How do you come to this real deficiency of excitement, and this outbreak of opportunity that you feel that you have to take advantage of this opportunity, but on the other hand you're, you're hopeless. You don't feel that there's something that will faithfully raise me a degree.

M. Laitman: I'd say this. The fact that we can connect corporeally and spiritually to an action called a gathering, a convention, is something huge that comes from above that in our time when the times are so against the connection, but we want to connect, and we're doing it in practice from so many countries and places. It's unbelievable. I get such emails, very special ones that people from all over the world from places that I'm so distant from. I've never been there to those places, but still, they want to be in contact with us and they're expecting this meeting. So, I think we have a huge privilege to draw these people from all parts of the world to us. Let's hope it'll help us present a bigger vessel, a very big vessel towards the Creator and start receiving His light for all of us. That's it. That's why The congress is something huge.

Student: I'm envious of how you see these impressions from all every small thing. That seems like an addition.

M. Laitman: Yes, I Get a lot of inspiration from them even though they also hit me on the head every day.

Question (Beer Sheva): (41:32) If I come to the lesson in Petah Tikva when they sit me down in one of the Tens. Am I not connecting with the Ten that I'm sitting in now?

M. Laitman: You are. Also, you have that spirit of the Ten of the Congress if you're connected here and connected there.

Student: Also, about the convention asking. Only half of their Ten is coming. Do they need to connect the other half by the virtual system or to be like that?

M. Laitman: No, like that just, as you are the main thing is to do with the same actions with everyone that's here, and already that will influence the others too. That's it.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (42:35) Can we say that during the convention there needs to be a certain prayer to come?

M. Laitman: If it needs to be, you'll get it. They're organizers, trust them. I don't know.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (42:54) The lesson is ending and I really feel that my heart is being filled with gratitude and awareness and to continue the letter that we read how the Creator is awakening us and bringing us closer and this is the one coming out of the lesson. And I have two questions. The first question, we learned today in the first part that we need for there to be two things. One is gratitude and the second is the request. How do we take this thing and make it into a request and not miss it so it will dissipate?

M. Laitman: That depends on your inner work. You can scrutinize the inside with your desires, with your thoughts, with your disappointments, with your attainments, and you'll see. What you need to do in order to calm yourself from inside.

Student: You actually calm down?

M. Laitman: Yes, calm it down, except for one thing. Your direction to the tendency towards the Creator. That's it. By this, you'll see how you can advance to it.
